I have used this shampoo before on my great Pyrenees. My dogs are allowed to go into the dirt, lakes and streams so they do get wet dirty and stinky if you will. I love this shampoo because it doesn’t strip them of the natural or else when you to baste them a little more than usual.

I don’t like my dogs to stink, but I also don’t like them to smell like flowers that’s why I chose the natural scent free. It makes the coat naturally beautiful, shiny and healthy. Being biodegradable is just icing on the cake.

It’s lathers in smoothly and you do not need a lot they are for the price is well worth it. It also washes out easily and leaves no sud behind. Very pleased with this shampoo and other products of earth bath.

This conditioner & shampoo is wonderful and comes highly recommended. My Shiba Inu just came from a Puppy Mill as a RESCUED 7 year old breeding female. She was so dirty, oily, and smelly that it was nearly impossible to be in the same room with her! After her bath her coat color was vibrant, she was soft and smelled so nice.

[One thing I have to add: This product warns not to get it into the eyes of your pet. when my girl gave a good shake some got into my eyes! Ouch! Be careful with this. I used no tears baby shampoo for her head and near her eyes] I will use this product again and sing its praises to anyone who wants a good shampoo/conditioner for their dogs.

This shampoo is excellent for hairless cats – we use it to bathe our two Sphynxs. They came to us from a rescue that wasn’t comfortable washing them and had been wiping them down with coat wipes, but both cats desperately needed a full bath.

We were able to wet and then lather them and this shampoo dissolved 70-80% of the dirt and oils that had accumulated on them within 60-90 seconds. Each bath only took 3-4 minutes and both cats came away looking brand new.

Best part is there are no artificial fragrances and the ingredients are skin safe, so we aren’t worried about them licking themselves after bath time. Highly recommend if you need a quick, effective bath time product!.

This is a real tearless shampoo and if your doggo has allergies like mine does and gets sticky around his tear ducts, this is really gentle and keeps the area clean. Because of his Dameranian hybrid breed, he has sensitive skin too, but the shampoo seems to work fine.

A little of the clear, tear-free shampoo covered his body. I worked it around his eyes and muzzle, where he had a lot of fur, and he didn’t seem to mind. This shampoo is safe for delicate paw pads, so I worked it into those areas too, and he didn’t seem to respond to it any differently.

The scent was fresh and pleasant without being overwhelming. He didn’t mind the scent of the shampoo and, in fact, seemed to enjoy sneaking various sniffs of the shampoo bottle as my husband and I washed him.

I liked this tear-free shampoo because it felt like my dog was more comfortable while we used it on his fur. It did a great job of washing his fur while keeping his skin free of irritants; I could really tell that it was gentle on his skin because he did not have any adverse reactions.

I was offered the opportunity to try out John Paul’s pet oatmeal shampoo which is perfect for my Shih Tzu at 7 pounds and has dry skin, for free for my honest opinion. It arrived quickly well packaged.

It has a very sweet oatmeal almond smell which is very pleasant it is clearish yellow in color number five. It does not lather up like some shampoos, but it does go on easily and rinses off very well.

He also dried off faster than his usual shampoo. I used the shampoo on my Shih Tzu it relieved any frizzy, Course hair. It seems to be heavy on his hair, as for the most arising, also I would like to add it easily allowed me to brush out knots while his hair was wet, super fabulous.

The John Paul pet oatmeal shampoo for sensitive skin formula for dogs and cats left his hair shiny and fluffy very soft with a pleasant smell. since it says tested on humans first, I gave it a go and washed my hair which is very thin and light and sometimes frizzy it was very heavy on my hair it relieved all frizziness but at the same time my scalp looking too oily, so from what I gather if I would just use it on the bottom half of my dry frizzy hair it would work perfect to relieve that issue.

I’d definitely recommend the John Paul Pet oatmeal shampoo my dog loved it, With no irritation and Super conditioned with just the shampoo very clean, shiny hair and looking beautiful.

I have tried many dog shampoo’s due to my two girls being itchy at times so I am a skeptic for new products. Oatmeal is what I buy as it is soothing to the coat and does seem to help with itching, I was happy to find a new oatmeal shampoo to try.

I noticed that my girl did not shy away and she did have a few red patches but this shampoo did not sting or bother them or her. I found it to lather pretty good not overly bubbly but just enough to feel effective in cleaning her coat.

JP Pet Shampoo is specially formulated to moisturize dry flaky, sensitive skin and it does that plus it contains Aloe Vera gel and sweet almond oil. The scent is very mild and not over powering I actually wish it had a little more almond scent to it but I was very impressed with how my dog did not have that wet dog smell after her bath.

After she was dry I kept smelling her fur and it smelled clean and neutral no doggy smell at all but a pleasant slight almond scent. My favorite thing is she dove under the covers and slept good all night after her bath with no scratching at least for the first night and I kept rubbing her fur it was very soft, silky and smooth I absolutely loved the feel of her fur after using this shampoo.

This is day two and she still has that wonderful soft, silky fur but she is back to itching some. Having dealt with allergies this l last year with my girl, shampoo’s can only do so much I am recommending this one because of what it does do and not as a cure but as a great soothing shampoo that does seem to help and I love that wonderful silky, soft fur she has after using this shampoo.

I discoivered this excellent Shine shampoo when I was using it to keep our Newfoundland clean and comfortable. Her heavy coat and oil secretion demanded thorough cleansing without stripping and drying her sensitive skin.

After she moved on to Canine Nirvana we decided to try the Shine shampoo on our new Irish Setter puppy. His coat is much less dense and the results are even more remarkable! He smells great, coat is glossy and sleek and his skin is never dried or irritated.

I add a teaspoon of extra Argan Oil and another teaspoon of broccoli seed oil to give his tender skin all the moisture he may need. Also since we hike along the beach and through the woods I always add a drop of Rose geranium, Ylang ylang and Lemon Grass essential oils to his shampoo to repel ticks, mites and fleas.

It works wonderfully well!.

Great cleaning power and suds! I used it on my new pup when he got lots of soft poop mashed into the back end of his very fluffy coat. It worked REALLY WELL to quickly loosen anything that was stuck in his hair and it also smelled wonderful! I only had to use a small amount to get tons of sudsing power.

The thickness is appealing to me. It isn’t watery in any way. Some of the ones I’ve tried are similar. It produces a nice lather quickly and has a pleasant scent. On my Golden Doodle, I’ve tried a lot of different washes, and this is by far my favorite.

This is my second purchase, and I want to make another.

This tropiclean deshedding conditioner is amazing. It works better and smells better than furminator, which is the only other deshedding conditioner I’ve tried so far. It lasts forever. I purchased back in Feb 2021 and I still have half a bottle now in late Jan 2022.

I have 3 fluff balls. One husky malamute and 2 aussies. Anyone who is familiar with these guys knows they shed 365. I love the ingredients list. Nothing harmful. Tropiclean is an awesome brand. I’ve used a lot of their products so far.

The only one that slightly disappointed was the cherry blossom shampoo. It wasn’t very fragrant in my opinion. Anyway, try this conditioner. You will love it. Oh and I should add, I do not dilute it as much as it calls for.

I do about a 3:4 ratio. I like the conditioner to be a little thicker and it has still lasted me so long. I’ve also used it on foster dogs and puppies and it’s gotten some serious use over the last year.

The product itself is excellent, my grandfurbaby is silky smooth after her bath. Unfortunately, we were under a time limit when bathing her so she was unable to get the full grooming experience. As for the packaging, not so great.

it was put in a box that was 4 times the size and the bubble air didn’t fill around the entire bottle, the bottle was put in the bottom of the box the air packets put on top. The lid broke and some of the shampoo spilled out into the box.

I didn’t realize this was for use on dry fur originally but that has honestly made it even more convenient and easy! I try a LOT of “leave in conditioner” products on my dogs because they both gets itchy seasonally; I groom my dogs myself so finding something that actually works saves me a lot of time and spares me the frustration of switching between products that MIGHT work.

I have a dalmatian and a husky so finding a product to work on them both is a challenge. This “hydrating butter” is the first product I’ve found that actually suits both of their coats. It absorbs really quickly, but not like products that it essentially poofs away, you can tell their fur and skin is absorbing it.

The best part about it though is it’s not oily or greasy at all. And the smell is 10/10. Amazing product! Definitely one of the best grooming products I’ve tried. This will absolutely be a staple in my house from now on!.

After 20+ years of owning and home grooming my beloved Japanese Chin I’ve found this to be far the best after bath detangler on the market. Chins hair kinks up after bathing no matter how much conditioner is used.

Before blowing dry (their favorite!) adding this butter is mandatory to allow combing out before scissor trimming and drying. In between baths I use this weekly and as needed without fear of buildup.

They come running to be blown out when I do my own hair so adding a pea to lima bean smoothing amount beforehand freshens and smooths to silk their daily needed combing. A little goes a long way. I’ll use one 8oz bottle in a year.

I have a white Amstaff who is prone to looking ‘dingy’, made even more apparent by the recent snow we had; “white” didn’t feel like an accurate color for him anymore. Doesn’t help his brother has a terrible habit of peeing on his head during walks! Many whitening shampoos on Chewy and I landed on this one because I liked the ~fancy~ look of the bottle.

It has a very strong cherry scent, FYI, when I first smelled the bottle upon receiving it. During bath time it lathered very nicely and my dog didn’t seem to have any objections to it, outside of the regular “I hate bath time, someone please save me” shtick.

Immediately after being dried off, I could see a notable improvement, and aside from the “prime head pee spot”, he was white as could be! I think another wash, maybe two, will clear up the stains on his head (ugh so gross).

Upon escaping mean bath time mommy and running to fun, no bath time daddy, it was commented that he smelled like Cherries so again, FYI to those sensitive to scents that it is noticeable. A frequent visitor came by later and commented on how bright and white he looked.

I’ll continue to buy this product! As well as their nail care set- a must-have if your pup has problem paws.

It actually took a very long time for me to use up my first bottle from when my dog was a puppy because he normally gets groomed and we bathe him at a local pet store. That being said when I ran out I decided to switch to another brand adult shampoo because I assumed it was time to switch to an adult brand.

It was horrible. Came out of the bottle like water. We immediately switched back to this and couldn’t be more pleased. It’s a great product. Comes out nice and thick, lathers well, and smells wonderful.

Got a German Shepherd/lab mix. And he definitely has that GS coat. Super thick. Hard to keep clean and he hates baths, which makes keeping him clean even more difficult. So I really needed a shampoo that packed a punch.

This is the best shampoo I’ve ever used on him. I washed him once (most shampoos require a wash, rinse, repeat cycle for his thick coat) and it was like a miracle. His coat is so clean and so soft. I don’t even know if he’s ever been this clean! It’s amazing! Sent a picture of him all dried off to a friend and she said he looks like a totally different dog.

I love this furry goober, but he’s gross and dirty most of the time. Now, because I don’t have to do multiple wash cycles in a single bath, I’ll be able to clean him faster and hopefully more often.

I was skeptical but got it on sale to mitigate the lose when I gave it away for being a waste. The smell is divine, refreshing fresh scent that is not at all sickly sweet or obnoxiously fruity. I do not like fruity smelling washes I usually go for the clean and fresh type of fragrances.

My 11 year old pitty has sensitive skin but her arthritis makes bathing difficult, she is mainly indoors but napping and rolling in the grass are her favorite things to do. We go about a month between bathes, the shampoo not only takes care of the odor but it doesn’t over dry her skin or cause her seborrheic dermatitis to kick up.

I follow up with coconut conditioner by tropiclean but will purchase an isle of dogs one when I need to restock.

My dog has multiple food allergies, I have tried multiple times to switch from a fresh diet to dry for convenience and failed miserably each time. She develops sores that scab, itch, and smell terrible.

The last food change caused the worst reaction I have seen yet. She had all of the above symptoms and horrible dandruff. I tried anti fungal/ anti bacterial shampoos and nothing helped completely. I tried this shampoo as a last resort and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I used once every 3 days for 15 minutes for 2 weeks.

I saw drastic changes after the second wash. Her sores started disappearing, the smell was gone, and the flaking improved. By the second week she has a normal coat, everything is healed, no scabs or dandruff.

Adopted a pocket bully from a lady 2 weeks ago and noticed he had what she called ‘hotspots’ ALL OVER him. We felt so bad and wanted to do something quick but wasn’t sure wat it was exactly that he was enduring.

So we picked up coconut oil and fish oil pills to start him on for his coat and skin. Well as healed within a week but noticed REALLY inflamed and almost bleeding rashes on back of his neck and knew we had to do something.

Went to Walmart today and found this stuff because we came to the conclusion it has to be se type of skin condition dermititis or parasitic. wasn’t too sure but his skin was soooo dandruffy and flaking.

Used this as soon as we got home. Followed directions. Left on for 15 minutes. after he dried off noticed NO DANDRUFF FLAKES!! I rubbed down his back and his back wasn’t crunching up from inflammation like it usually does wen I softly scratch down his back.

My dog is being treated for lice he picked up somewhere. Lice don’t like tea tree. This shampoo really helped with his itching and killing more lice. I do not like the smell of tea tree myself but this shampoo has a pleasant scent.

My dog has skin sensitivities/allergies and can dry up at times and smell kinda funky since he can only eat salmon based food. We’ve been using this for about a month now and his coat has been much cleaner and soft to the touch.

And although the scent isn’t strong or overpowering, it keeps him smelling good by preventing him from even smelling bad in the first place !! Typically after 2-3 weeks, he smells (noticeably) and needs a bath.

But now, we are over a month in and he’s not even begun stinking yet. He doesn’t smell like his shampoo obviously, but he also doesn’t have that strong doggie stink that permeates an entire room. I tried the honeysuckle and it was lovely.

I adopted a beautiful bluenose tuxedo HW-positive pit bull during labor day weekend. I immediately resumed his treatments, so that meant 12 weeks restricted activity. I attempted to wet bath him once in those first couple of weeks but abandoned that idea.

While he immediately adored and claimed me as his, the prospect of a bath from him new mom in a new bathtub terrified him. And, per HW home care protocol, I did not want to excite him unnecessarily. So, to keep him clean, shiny, and smelling good, I found a recipe for a dry shampoo using corn starch and baking soda, with a few drops of bug repelling essential oils.

With regular brushing a and 2 to 3 dry baths per month, the boy smelled like a champ (after a shower 🤣🤣🤣). But, now, we were nearing Thanksgiving and just 2-weeks shy of completing his time of restricted activity.

So, I wanted to try the bathtub again. I don’t care who you are, everybody’s skin needs to see soap and water at least once and awhile. I began looking for a good beneficial shampoo. I happen to love and swear by SH cleaning and deodorizing solutions for both dogs and cats (had the litter box deodorizer and urine and stain remover with my cats, and got the laundry and stain/odor remover for my dog).

So imagine my excitement when I saw they also had grooming solutions. Especially cruelty-free, harmful substances free, and skin beneficial products. So I ordered with the intention of getting my boy to try the tub again (he trusts me so much now he doesn’t even nervous pee, even in the presence of things that used to make him anxious).

I got him into the bathtub and turned on the water, successfully, with the right treats. He took his bathing like a pro. His coat looked stunning, and the part that is white was BRIGHT. And he smelled WONDERFUL.

But that’s where the happy story endsTo say I’m so terribly disappointed in this product is an understatement. Not only did this NOT stop my boy’s stinch for as long as claimed – it was in fact worse (I mean, he smelled WONDERFUL for a few days, but, this was definitely NOT going to be a once per month bathing solution.

The daily dodorizer was only going to take us so far. ), this caused my otherwise beautiful, shiny, healthy pooch to develop a nasty skin condition, including, bumps, alopecia/patchiness,and itching; and me a totally unexpected $254 vet bill!Honestly, I am confused at how something so natural and touted to protect skin ph and bacterial balance could wreak such havock.

But, I guess it’s like everything. People can’t eat everything that’s good, healthy, and natural either. Some of us get migraines, others digestive upset, some achy joints, and some, nasty skin conditions after consuming even some whole, unprocessed foods.

This may be just the answer for your dog or cat. This is a great brand of products. But this shampoo is just not doing it for my dog. I will go back to his original shampoo and continue to dry bath him once per week with my corn starch and baking soda mix in between monthly wet baths.

I’m sensitive to chemical fragrance. I don’t understand why they would add chemical fragrance to a product made for skin allergies. Having said that, my dog scratches herself raw every Summer and I was desperate.

This works! She is so much more comfortable. I use this shampoo and matching conditioner with the hydrocortisone spray once in between baths. It’s made a world of difference!.

Use this and the leave on conditioner on my three dogs. It has helped their dry a lot. It’s not completely better yet but it’s made a big difference so far. There’s been a few times I skipped using the leave on conditioner and used just the shampoo alone it still left their coats feeling soft and not dried out at all.

Their coats are nice and shiny after using this shampoo too. Definitely recommend.

Awesome shampoo for Chinese Shar Pei. Helps with itchy skin. Our boy gets playful and happy when we use this. Our female is overweight and this shampoo helps with her yeasty smell. We let it sit on their coat for 10 minutes before thoroughly rinsing then apply the zymox conditioner.

It smells really good!.

I have an extremely thick coated Bernedoodle. This works wonders to ease brushing. I’m no longer pulling, tugging or hurting my dog! He tolerates brushing now! It as a very fresh LIGHT clean scent. The TRICK is to mist the 1st area you about to brush, then wait 5 minutes.

(Give the product time to work and sink in!) then begin brushing. To save time, I mist the next area to be brushed before I start brushing the 1st area so by the time I’m done with the 1st, 5 minutes is up and the next section is now ready.

Continue pre-spray in sections until the dog is completed. It’s a wonderful product!.

I am a Doodle breeder so I wash a lot of puppies and I want my puppies to look and smell clean when they meet their new families! I recently discovered Natures Specialties line of grooming products and so far this one is my favorite! Second pick would be the Quicker Slicker – Leave-In conditioner and together they work perfectly for the “just back from the groomer” smell and look! The Almond Crisp smells like Almonds and it gets them super clean and shiny.

without making them look too frizzy which is a common issue for Doodles and Poodle’s after a bath with harsher to! This shampoos. It must be magic! Haha! The Quicker Slicker also does what it says it helps them to dry much quicker and it also smells good without being TOO perfumey.

My dog has allergy issues which makes her chew her feet. That in turn makes them red and irritated. This shampoo helps with healing after she receives her allergy meds. It soothes her soreness and the red irritation goes away.

The shampoo does not have a lovely scent at all but it does not linger. I appreciate the fact this shampoo was intended for skin relief and not to leave a lasting scent.

I had to bathe my 5 year old cat for the first time for what looked to be a possible yeast or bacterial infection on his neck that wouldn’t go away. He’s an indoor/outdoor cat, and had especially scratched one side of his neck bloody – I was worried and had good experience with Vet Formula spray (he hates the smell of that) on another occasion on his belly that that product eliminated the problem quickly.

This shampoo did not dry out his fur or his skin, had a mild grapefruit smell that disappeared after rinsing – awesome; Cats are not grateful to smell of perfumes. It lathered moderately well and rinsed fairly well – I was careful to rinse thoroughly.

His fur was very clean without being stripped – and it did seem to help his condition. He actually seemed relieved. I do believe, however, after the spray and this wash did not stop the itch (continued with the spray for 9 days) that my cat was actually suffering from food allergies – fish.

I knew he had a slight problem that caused an itch, but now even a small amount of fish oil/product is triggering his itching. I eliminated ANY fish, and the wound is healing. So I would recommend this shampoo for helping to start with a clean slate, and I do know the spray with similar ingredients did in fact clear up a fungus/yeast problem when he had a spot on his belly.

The spray rocks! It was hard to find a shampoo for emergencies (because I won’t bathe a cat on a regular basis – only if it’s medically warranted) that is nearly scentless, doesn’t disrupt the skin/fur balance, and doesn’t leave a film or stickiness of any kind.

Great product. Will keep on hand.

We adopted a young stray tuxedo cat that wandered up a few months ago. Smitty is currently dealing with a lot of skin allergies and moderate hair loss so I thought I would try out this medicated shampoo.

He’s a good-natured cat so he tolerates baths fairly well, but this bath went way smoother than the last two involving Adams Flea and Tick Shampoo. In fact, about two to three minutes into his sudsy soak time, he seemed to feel some immediate relief from his itchiness.

He became very cooperative as if he understood why the bath was necessary. He’s now passed out, blissfully enjoying an itch-free nap. I also suffer from skin allergies and my reaction to chemicals in soaps is almost instantaneous, but didn’t want to bathe him with rubber gloves like he was some laboratory experiment.

This shampoo actually eased my hand irritation too! So, that was a win. Also, the scent is very pleasant and refreshing. Smitty has a long way to go before his coat fully recovers and many more baths with this shampoo so I will provide an update as to the effectiveness over the next month.

However, I’d recommend this shampoo for animals even without serious skin problems. It worked much better than the oatmeal-based products I used on my dog years ago to relieve itching and seemed to be less irritating than shampoos containing Chlorhexidine.

I expect good results from this product long-term.

When used as directed this product is absolutely amazing. I’ve been using this product on and off for roughly about four and a half years now, my dog is five and a half years old. This has benefited her life in ways that I’ve never seen before.

She has a few health concerns that I have to stay on top of or else she is uncomfortable for about three to five days. She loves this shampoo so much that she knows the smell of it. I could fake her out, but she knows this particular shampoo.

She knows that this will bring her relief and cannot wait to jump into the bath tub to get her bath. Please, when you read the negative reviews I’d like you to keep in mind that variables exist. Someone could be misusing the product even unintentionally.

Someone could be using this product improperly. Or, someone could just be listing off this particular product just by the ingredients. I’ve bought this from many different sources and have never had an issue.

I use as directed when I do use it, and it’s limited to any issues that flare up. Aside from that, rhis isn’t the only shampoo that I use for my dog, but it is the not reliable that I have to relieve irritations.

My girl has been using this for so long that she will ask for a bath with this particular shampoo because she knows what it does.

I had high hopes for this shampoo for my snow white Maltese who occasionally gets pink stains around his eyes and paws and for my Morkie who has silvery white fur. I am very disappointed that this shampoo doesn’t at least leave them smelling like they were freshly bathed.

It has no scent and as far as whitening or brightening or softening, it does none of that any more than regular shampoo. So it’s just OK but nothing special. Fortunately I have a good conditioner which leaves them smelling delicious.

This is some of the best shampoo I have ever tried. Not specific to just the shampoo but healthy breeds for miniature schnauzer’s altogether. It did help with the whitening I can’t say that it was the absolute best but it did help.

Aside from that it leaves my pup’s coat extremely soft and extremely shiny. I get compliments on his fur regularly especially because miniature schnauzers are known to have thick wiry Coats. It feels AMAZING and smells good.

My basset smells good! And stays clean and nice-smelling for days. This is the first shampoo that has worked. Even with expensive dog shampoos, he smells like a basset (which is not bad!) in two days.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well “Smelly Dog Baking Soda Dog Shampoo” cleans and neutralizes his oily coat. Will definitely buy again!.

I appreciate Bravecto’s effectiveness. I’m forced to use the topical version for our pit bull; she detests the oral no matter how much effort and cleverness I devote to getting it down her throat. She has very short fur.

It’s more challenging administering topical to her than it was for our longer-furred dogs. Today she immediately shook off the topical, spraying droplets in a 4 foot radius on the kitchen floor. What I learned today is that for her next dose I will 1) administer it outdoors 2) cover the administered area with Saran wrap for a minute or so, to let as much as possible absorb before she attempts to shake it all off 3) wear rubber gloves If you have other suggestions for the topical, I’d like to hear them.

I wasn’t aware that bravecto came in a topical form. My senior pup has been taking the chews for 10 years and all of a sudden one day decided he wasn’t going to eat them anymore. I tried everything but to know avail and I had just bought four doses of the chews for $248.

I called the parent company Merck and told them about my dilemma and the fact that I had already wasted one dose of the chews which cost $62. Merck was very helpful and offered to send four replacement doses of topical to my vet at no charge to me.

I had already bought one dose of topical from chewy to get him through till I figured out the situation with the chews. This medication and the company that manufactures it rate a 10 in my book.

Our dog is 14, and has some kidney and liver issues, and we did not want to use edibles. So we recently switched to Bravecto Topical. Chewy was great, shipped fast at a good price. Our dog tolerated the topical very well with no skin reaction, unlike prior skin reactions to other brands.

Easy to apply, and the 12 week dose is very convenient. No sign of fleas or ticks still about 7 weeks after application. Definitely a great product and Chewy is very easy to deal with.
