This is my 3rd purchase of the Infiniti Pro in about 8 years, at least a very similar model. Previous irons were purple and this one is sort of metallic grey, but otherwise it’s the same. This iron straightens well and glides very smoothly through hair without pulling.

I like that you can adjust the setting from 1 to 30 depending on your needs. Its reasonable price makes me not mind that after about 4 years it doesn’t heat up quite right anymore so I have to buy a new one.

And actually my most recent one before this still works though not as well, so I’ve given it to my daughter.

A friend gave me this flat iron and I fell in love with it. It makes my hair pin straight. I dropped the old one she gave me on the floor and it broke. I loved it so much I decided to repurchase it. The new one is holding up nicely.

I love how it has a range of different heat settings. I’ve tried it on high and on very low. Even on very low it still manages to straighten my hair. I will keep buying this straightener when I need a new one until I can’t find it anymore.

I bought this item after seeing reviews on Buzzfeed and also hearing about it from friends. I was reluctant to buy it because it was selling for such a cheap price – my last hair straightener I bought lasted me 6 years.

For those who this may help, here is background information about myself and my hair: – Ethnicity: Indian (Sikh) – Hair type: Typical Indian Hair – Thick, long, wavy, heavy (curls made with Curling rods last only couple of hours even after spraying buckets of hairspray).

I wish I had returned this straightener even though I really like it and it makes my hair sleek and shiny, but the way they designed the plates was terrible. There are these little groves at the bottom of the plates, and my hair always gets caught in it and it rips my hair out.

The purpose of this straightener is to protect it from heat damage, but they didn’t design it well because instead of heat damage you’re getting your hair pulled out and broken by the little groves. They need to redesign the next version to not have those little spaces in the plates and it would be perfect.

I’ve never experienced this issue with any other straightener before and this one cost more than others I have purchased like the Babyliss nano pro. I have to use very tiny sections and only hold it in a certain way to avoid getting my hair stuck in the groves but inevitably every time I use this straightener my hair gets stuck and gets pulled out.

It’s a shame that they overlooked that minor detail which caused a huge flaw in what otherwise is a great straightener and I like the simplicity of just turning it on and not having to set the temp. It heats up every fast and makes a little chime when it’s ready.

I believe it’s supposed to turn off after 30 mins without use but I haven’t tested it to see if that works. My hair is very long and I have a lot of hair so it takes me more than 30 mins to straighten it and it’s never turned off but I’m not sure if it’s because it knows I am actively using it.

Fantastic product. My hair is very long and thick and I’ve struggled with styling it in the past. It took well over an hour before this straightener came into my life. Now it takes about 20-30 mins which makes me very happy! My hair straightened within one stroke, hair felt soft, undamaged and frizz free.

Hair stayed straight in hot weather and stayed straight when sleeping on it. Overall my hair stayed straight until I washed it and didn’t need re-straightening. It is also very easy to curl my hair and gave the most beautiful curls that held well for a few days.

Overall I love how quick it heats up, the noise it makes when it’s ready to use, the swivel cord as makes it so much easier to use than non swivel cords. Also I love how it doesn’t pull on the hair and the way the hair looks and feels after use.

It doesn’t feel like it damages hair and hair feels healthy after use. I love how it turns itself off after 30 minutes of non use, very safe and reassuring. Lastly I love the silicone cover it comes with as it’s great so it doesn’t damage my flooring.

I first tried the GHD Platinum+ straighteners on my ‘air dried’ hair when I was in a rush and was very suprised at how well they smoothed the kinks out – very quick too, as I didn’t need to run them over the same strands too often.

Plus, it only took only a minute to heat up! The second time, I used them with ‘blow dried’ hair, so obviously the finish was more sleek. Though I have thick, course, wavy hair with tight curls at the back and must say, I’m very pleased with how little time it takes to go through my mop either way.

There’s a good healthy shine too (I always used the GHD heat protection spray) and it doesn’t feel dry. Overall, they’re light and easy to use, leaves a great finish, no snags with the plates, nice long swivel cord, so it’s not knocking items off my dresser and theres a safety feature, so it switches off after 30 minutes of un-use.

They look and feel like great quality, as you’d expect from GHD. Looking forward to trying these out to create some loose curls next. Would definitely recommend!.

Love this flat iron. Highly recommend. My go to has always been Chi, for years. I decided to give this one a shot as my hair just was not looking the same and I was tied of replacing with another Chi.

The instructions are very clear and understanding. Most of all what I absolutely love about the Kristin Ess – 3-In-One Ceramic Flat Iron is that once you hit the on button you can easily adjust the temperature too the proper temp for your hair.

Its doesnt get super hot to where I cant hold it, it do not make my hair fry or pop or even break off while I am straightening my hair. The metal flattening plates are so so soft and easy too grip my hair to the roots.

It straightens with out me having too keep going over and over my hair, my hair is alway silky smooth and looks as if I have gotten it done by a professional. Easy too turn off and cools down very very quickly and so easy to put away and store.

I don’t know what everyone is complaining about. I use this flat iron about once a week, between straightening or curling my hair. I love that the button is on the inside. I have problems with breakage so I’m glad it glides along my hair so easily.

I love the rubberized coating so it’s not slippery, and I travel a lot for work so the plastic end cover is a life saver when I have to straighten and pack everything up right away. Considering getting more for my family….

Been using cheap straighteners for years and finally decided to splurge after my last one broke, big mistake. I’ve never used a straightener that has damaged my hair this much which is confusing because it advertises a 392 degree temperature but causes more damage than my straighteners that I use at 400+ degrees.

I have clip in extensions that I had to throw away because one pass through this straightener ruined them, like it straight up sizzled them. Worst part, it makes your hair stink! Again, something I’ve never experienced with another straightener.

Chi customer service doesn’t care either. I called because I wanted to let them know that I genuinely think something may be wrong with this straightener or at least the batch it came from and they didn’t even take down the batch number or anything, just said they would look into it but took down no info.

They do have a warranty where you can sent the straightener in with a $15 check and get a replacement but that is such a hassle that I decided to just buy a different straightener from a different brand.

Who has time to send their straightener in the mail and wait for a new one with the additional charge of $15 for a product I already bought? I always heard CHI regraded as the holey grail of hair tools so maybe mine was just defective but it was absolutely awful.

I used to think that metal plates + heat = straightener. The brand didn’t matter. I got my 1st Chi seven or eight years ago and that all changed. With other straighteners. even those from the beauty supply stores.

I have to run it over my wavy hair multiple times to get it straight. With Chi, it’s one pass and done. I don’t know what makes Chi different but it is. Maybe it has to do with heat distribution. I don’t really even care.

I just know that it works. My hair is healthy despite daily use (Chi Iron Guard is great btw) and I straighten my hair in one-third of the time. If you have waves or curls, invest in a good straightener to keep your hair healthy and to save time.

The “original” is a good price and worth every penny. (My old Chi still works! Unfortunately, I didn’t take care of it so there is a lot of baked on product on the plates. I’ve traveled with it, dropped it many times and who knows what my teen has done to it when she used it but it still works.

Keep your plates clean and it will last many years. ).

I’m a hairstylist and when I saw this featured on another stylists page I was intrigued. I purchased it and fell in love. Well, clumsy me, I dropped it a couple times (I’ve dropped plenty of tools before) and didn’t know something was wrong with it.

For this price tag, I assumed it would be pretty sturdy. Well, it burnt the hair clean off my clients head when turning on the infrared ability. I cried and comped her service. Thank God she has a head full of hair.

When I contacted customer service, they let me know warranty states that if there is any physical damage then the warranty is null. There was a little part where the cord is that helps it swivel, yeah that broke off.

So there’s that! I don’t know any hairstylists that hasn’t dropped anything while working but like I said for the amount of money, I thought that it would be more sturdy.

Truth be told, I didn’t have any true issues with my old ceramic flat irons results. It was getting old and needed replacing from wear and tear. You don’t know what you don’t know! I have an area in the center of my head that has a completely different texture than the rest and typically determines when my hair is at the end of its flat ironed life.

I usually didn’t make it past 2-3 days when it was hot out or when my head sweat before my perfect silky flat ironed hair would turn frizzy and that area would get thick and unmanageable. My new Croc has by far exceeded the results I use to get from my old flat iron.

We can call this thick and unmanageable patch She-gra. The feel of my hair after flat ironing with my Croc was a bit silkier than before (no visual difference) and I am happy to report that She-gra has lasted 2 weeks and could actually last longer.

I have only had to add a little hair polisher every now and then, but it still feels great! With my old flat iron I had to wrap my hair around and tie it up in a scarf every night to prevent the ends from getting frizzy and dry, with my Croc I have been putting my hair in a bonnet unwrapped around my head and again it’s been 2 weeks.

I can’t leave without mentioning the design. At first I thought I would have trouble getting acclimated with the design being that it is different than my old one that I had been using for the last 15 years.

I had no issues with the change, it was easy to use. This thing is magic! ADP.

This is my fourth one from this company. I’ve never found a better one. Smooths, straightens easily, and it’s fast. My only complaint about this one at the moment is a high pitched noise coming from it.

It’s really annoying being so close to my ears at times. The first one I had of these lasted years. Every one after worked for about a year so keep that in mind when looking at the price. They do have some warranty program, but it requires you to mail it to them where you have to live without one for a month.

I just think the qualify is not as good, but it’s still the best option.

I have the nanoblack 3-in-one flat iron (couldn’t find it in Influenster) the full size, not the mini. It has a 9ft cord that moves with the iron (like if you’re doing curls) it’s not fixed to it, this is helpful if you’re like me have hair past your butt + it helps keep your cord from getting twisted.

This iron is beautiful, it has a very soft silky feel to it is super sleek looking. It’s fairly light weight comfortable to hold. My hand wrist don’t get tired half way through doing my hair. It doesn’t have a lock on it to keep it closed but it does come with a cap you can slide over the end which keeps it closed, the instructions sheet says the cap is heat proof but I don’t quite trust that it is so I leave the iron in my sink until it cools down before putting the cap on (which fits quite snugly) hanging it up.

As far as heat up time WOW this thing heats up FAST! It took less than 30 seconds for it to get up to temp! The sides are rounded so you can easily do curls without getting crease lines in them, although I haven’t quite mastered the technique of curling with a flat iron yet.

One thing I was worried about was that hair would snag but after using it a few times that’s no longer a concern. My hair slides through it like silk. It has ceramic plates which are great for those of us who tend to get static hair after using hot tools (ugh the worst) It has a few different heat settings.

I did have to look up how to do that since there’s no dial or specific button for that but it was easy to do. Just keep clicking the power button quickly until it’s the temp you want. When you plug it in you have to hit the power button, it doesn’t just start heating up on its own like other irons I’ve owned in the past.

With all that being said I definitely do recommend this iron if you’re in the market for a new one. It came in a really nice heavyweight cardboard box with a magnetic flap, I’m sure most will throw it away but if you’re like me keep the boxes to repurpose or so your tools are more protected during travel this is a good box that won’t be crushed or damaged easily.

I bought this item during the Target Black Friday sale. The first iron I received was defective and would automatically turn off as soon as I turned it on. I tried multiple plugs to make sure it was the iron and not the outlet before sending it back.

Target replaced it, although it took a few weeks to receive the new one. I have owned many other brands of irons, most of them considered higher end vs this one. I am impressed with the features this one comes with: electronic temperature control (my GHD does not have this), curved plate edges for curling hair (again my GHD does not have this), additional length of plates accommodating for long hair, and the smoothness of the Titanium plates.

It is packed with features for the price. However, it does not have dual voltage which means I can not travel with it as it won’t convert in other countries to their power type, which is something I general seek out in an iron.

Also, there is something about it that just feels a little flimsy compared to the GHD I am replacing it with, or the Amika I had previously owned, or even the Chi iron I had before that one. I use my iron every day, sometimes multiple times a day for touch ups, and they tend to last me about 2 years (doesn’t matter which brand) before they fizzle out.

I have long wavy hair, that I either straighten or put a curl into depending on how much time I have. I will keep this iron because I only paid $60 for it during the Black Friday sale, but it’s not my favorite of all the irons I have owned and used in the past.

I received a defective hair straightener. Turns on fine, heats up, then if I move the straightener, it also moves the electrical cord of course, then it shuts off immediately. I turn it back on, and try to straighten my hair, again it shuts off immediately.

Manual says that temperature blink until it heats up, which it did, then once a desired temperature is reached, it suppose to be on a few minutes. In my case, I pick up the straightener after it heats up, then it shuts off and cools off quickly!!! Impossible to keep it warm, due to the electrical issue in the cord.

The product was defective. Not happy dealing with re-packing, printing labels, and packaging again. I have a video recording available to proof this issue. I am sure it works, not in my case. Not one star, if possible- there was no choice of 0 star.

I was so excited to finally get to try one of the infamous Dyson hair styling tools! The Dyson Corrale is a flat iron that has the option to be used without a cord and is also rechargeable. The Corrale has a maximum temperature of 410 degrees.

I have naturally curly 3c/4a hair that’s thick and mid length. I washed and blow dried my hair first and then used the Dyson Corrale to finish off my look. Pros: * cordless option – great because you don’t have to worry about the cord getting in the way when using and it can be convenient when on the go * leaves hair shiny and sleek – I have black hair which can sometimes look dull if not styled properly and the Dyson gave my finished look sleekness and with a nice sheen * works great on thicker and curly textured hair – sometimes larger brand products aren’t geared towards hair types that some ethic groups have but the Dyson worked great on my thick, course hair which is natural with no chemical straighter.

* charge is decent – I was able to straighten roughly 90% of my hair off of a full charge which was about 35 minutes. * digital display makes it easy to know the status of your iron’s charge levels and temperature * stand and carrying case come with the iron – the stand is very convenient when using the iron to style Cons: * heavier than the average flat iron – while it wasn’t an issue for me just know the iron does have some weight to it.

If part of the wonder of this iron is its ability to be cordless, I’d expect at least an hour. *could be difficult to travel with via plane – while the Dyson has a airplane mode feature, you must remember to set it to that mode and for international travel, some countries such as Japan wouldn’t allow you to travel in or out the coun.

It’s crazy to me to see so many negative reviews, but reading several gave me some insight into how I’d like to break down my own review: First, I have short, mostly gray (wirey) hair. I use IGK brand hair products, in addition to occasional use of the Dyson straightener.

I’ve never had universally considered “good” hair: it’s thin, frizzy, can take 6 hours to air dry, is brittle, and only grows out to my shoulders before it starts falling out like crazy—seemingly genetic as all women on my mom’s side have the same issue.

I balked at the price of this. I bought a BNY brand little mini ceramic hair straightener 7 years ago for $200 and instantly regretted that purchase. But it lasted 7 years! The problem was: I didn’t realize it was terrible until I bought this Dyson.

My hair is so smooth, no flyaways, and it actually holds its style—whether I curl or just straighten with this)!! I’ve literally never achieved that with any other heat tool (even leaving the hair stylist’s, within 30 minutes my hair is frizzy and I get the big waves right around my face which I hate on me).

While using this, I haven’t had to touch-up my style at all throughout the day—it holds beautifully. The downsides are absolutely the price, and I do wish it held a charge longer. BUT I did my hair and 2/3 of my kids’ with one charge, totaling roughly 50 minutes of use yesterday on a 3/4 full battery.

With my short hair, I can get roughly 4 days of use before I need to charge my straightener. Next, I agree that it is heavy. I’m very strong and have no issue, but my oldest daughter struggled with it after just two sections of hair.

Great product. Lots of positives, small amounts of negatives that Dyson has still not sorted. Positives: straightens my thick candy floss/nylon hair mixed heritage long hair into a chic straight style with lots and lots of shine.

It does it quite quickly with only a few passes. I do need more than one pass for my hair. The shape of it means that I do not have frizzy rat tail ends to my hair as I can shape them under – something that just did not work with my old straighteners by a well-known brand.

My hair never feels scorched or gets a burning smell that I got with my old straighteners. My hair is down my back but I can still do it within 30 – 40 mins. It gets right up to the root and it does not leave any ridges.

It’s easy to understand how to use – once you’ve figured out that you need to take out the Flight Mode Button and turn it the opposite way – lining the green House icon up with the green arrow – and put it back in.

The flight mode feature allows you in theory to take it in your hand luggage (but they advise that you still check with your Airline). The good news is that on these latest models, they have made the Flight Mode button so that you remove and put back in, in reverse– whereas in the old one, you just pulled it out and left it hanging out, which was crazy as it was destined to get broken off.

It charges up pretty quickly. It has three heat settings meaning that my mum with her much thinner hair in her 70s can use it but I can also use it on my very, thick long hair. And of course, it can be used cordless (but let’s come back to that bit).

Abby Horne does a superb job of demonstrating this excellent product and what she tells you is the truth – it’s a game changer. I no longer have to go to the Hairdressers for expensive blow-dries. I also own a Dyson hairdryer.

The two together cost about the same as my second hand car. It’s a considered purchase and one I do not regret. The instalment plans and 60 day return, if you are unhappy, really is as good as you get.

At first, as they are different from your standard straighteners and dryers, you might think you cannot handle them. Keep going for at least 2 weeks. You will then never turn back! Negatives: 1) It’s nice that it’s cordless for freedom of styling in the home but it’s heavy and big and they still haven’t sorted that out.

So, in reality, it’s not something you would really want to carry with you unless absolutely necessary. 2) For those with thick, long hair, straightening it means that the battery runs out before you’ve finished so you end up putting it back In the dock to charge for quite a while.

I’ve tried putting the cord on when it starts to sound its beep that the battery is low but it carries on beeping even with the cord in and more importantly struggles to keep the straightener charged.

It’s not broken – a relative has the same one and the same challenge. My tip: keep the cord in right at the start whilst it is fully charged and it seems to keep its charge better that way. I’ve still not solved the problem though.

3) I’ve watched beautiful curls being created by Abby and the models on QVC and YouTube but no matter how hard I try, I cannot create them with this straightener. My mixed heritage hair does not slip through traditional straighteners and I think that might be the issue.

I think my mixed heritage hair does not need the corrale part of the plates fitting so closely together. I cannot pull the product down the hair – it will not slide – so I cannot create the ribbon-like curls that sadly everyone else can.

We downloaded the manual for the straightener and looked for the registration information – that gave a Dyson website address based in India. We visited that website and put in the serial number but it said it was ‘invalid’.

We then looked on Google for the registration website and found one. We put in the serial number but it wouldn’t accept it. Luckily we had a telephone number for Dyson customer service and the lady took the serial number and registered it.

We got a confirmation email OK. Overall, a must gadget. A considered purchase but over time, it pays for itself through the vastly reduced visits to the hairdressers. Finally, we can all create our best looks, at home!.

I was looking for a mini straightener specifically for work and on the go. I have curly hair and sometimes when I haven’t put anything in it, especially if I haven’t washed it for a few days it gets wavy/straight from top to mid length.

This is perfect for when I want to just straighten the mid length to ends real quick so I can wear it down and it looks perfect. Have tried it from root to tip on my whole head and it works just as well.

Don’t let the tiny size fool you! Have bought and tried many mini straighteners and this is the only one that doesn’t pull, gets hot quick, and legit straightens. Also, super convenient that it comes with a travel pouch to keep it safe and clean and is small enough to throw in your bag without taking up much space.

Good story for you all: I got sucked into a mall kiosk for this product. The woman sat me down and styled my entire head for free with the straightener. At the end of that, she finally dropped the price on me.

$200-300? Yeah, in your dreams lady. After suckering her up for about 20 minutes, I ended up getting a discount and it came out to $100. BARGAIN. I bought it, and I haven’t loved something more. This straightener works quickly and very well.

It heats up fast and gets my hair poker straight in a short amount of time. I also use this to curl my hair because I don’t like the look of normal curler-type curls and it’s great. I’m glad I finessed that lady because I would have still been using cheap, crappy metal plates on my head!.

I love my ! I got it pretty cheap from a friend that bought it off Boxycharm. It’s originally an $80 item. I have thick, long hair and with any other iron, it would have taken an hour to get through, but this cut the time in half and completely changed the way my hair looked.

It brought an extra shine to it like I’ve never seen before. It wasnt tangled up at all by the end of the process and it was an overall really great experience. I’ll probably keep buying Sutra products from now on because I’m completely impressed with results!.

I just recently purchased my 2nd Sutra Flat Iron, the first one lasted 7 years and finally had been dropped to many times. This is hands down the best flat iron I’ve ever used. My hair is curly so getting it straight normally takes effort, not with this flat iron.

i used it once, to which i experienced difficulty trying to turn the device on. in terms of styling, it left weird angles on my hair no matter how much i tried to keep the straightner even with the rest of my head.

it also pulled on my hair and felt like it was taking a few strands with every pass. i tried to use it again a few days later. i hadn’t stored it improperly or wrapped up the wire too tight, it was safe and left in a dry, open area; yet no matter where i tried to plug it into, the device would not turn on.

it doesn’t work at all now. i’m going to try and return it, this was really disappointing but i guess it makes sense for the quality/price.

Best flat iron i have ever used. i use it to curl my hair. I can get various types of curls, tight curls, loose curls or just waves. Love this product!!! And anti-static technology really works. And it heats up very fast and goes up to 450°.

I use 370° and it works great. I can curl my whole head in 15 mins. Incredible hail tool❣️.

I absolutely love this straighter, it’s the perfect width to straighten all of my little flyaways that are around my face and are too short to straighten with my bigger straightener. This is the perfect width and makes those little hairs so smooth and lay down so nicely! I really wish they had an even wider version of this straightener because I’d totally buy that size too!.

I have been looking at this iron for a long time and wanted to buy it but did not think it would be hot enough to work on weaves. I had a mini pink flat iron by something beauty cannot remember the name but it did not work well at all.

I got that pink one from a beauty supply store it did not even get hot it only got warm and did not curl the weave at all. This kiss iron, however gets really hot. It gets so hot that it will curl weave and straighten it as you pass it on the hair.

The only thing I don’t like about the iron is that it does not have a temperature control dial. It only has one temp setting but it is ok because I needed and wanted a hot iron anyway. Someone asked could you use it on synthetic hair.

I would not recommend on synthetic hair because the iron can get smoking hot and anything that hot would burn through that hair. However I would say that it would work on synthetic blend weave because that is what I used it on.

I used it on a synthetic blend with human hair and it did not burn it. Hopefully this review will be helpful. I am not a licensed hairstylist but I have went to beauty school and only have to go take my test to become a hairstylist so I do have some knowledge about hair.

I love this flat iron! It’s the perfect size and the different design makes it so much easier to style your hair! The only thing I don’t really like is it doesn’t have different heat settings. I like to style my hair with 310 330 degree heat.

With this, it only has one setting. Make sure you have a heat protectant spray at all times because the longer it’s on, the hotter it gets.

This is a holy grail item for me! The first one I got lasted me almost 10 years and for a flat iron under $20 to not only last that long but give incredibly smooth, shiny hair until it finally quit working says ALOT! I have since replaced with 2 (gotta have a back up in case they stop making it) and it works just as well as the first.

Heats fast, works phenomenal, super affordable, locks closed and has an auto shut off!!! Definitely recommend and as you read, have bought a few. 😊.

My stylist always uses ISA Professional tools. I love how my hair looks and feels when she is done! So now that my straightener has kicked the bucket at they usually in a year or two I decided to treat myself and get this ISA Professional straightener.

I’m not as good as my stylist but wow I love the results! With more practice I’ll even get the wave technique down. Oh yeah this straightener also does waves! Looking forward to keeping this straightener for many years.

Perfect straightener for me. Works wonders. The way my hair glides between the plates is amazing! So smooth! My stylist introduced me to ISA Professional a while back. She has had her ISA Professional titanium straightener for almost 8 years now.

Even though that straightener is used daily for work those plates were still glass smooth. Never seen such amazing durable plates on a straightener before. My last straighteners plates were chipping and falling apart after 2 years of regular use.

ISA Professional straighteners quality is definitely one of the best out there.

I could not be happier with this product! I spent an OBSESSIVE amount of time watching and reading reviews between the bio ionic, GHD, and T3 and finally took the plunge on the one pass bio ionic. I have dry, frizzy, and coarse hair and this tool does the trick every time.

My ends don’t look ragged anymore and there is crazy shine and bounce. In fairness i always prep my hair with a heat protectant and usually round brush it on days when I’m feeling ambitious, but even when i use it on my natural hair it does not disappoint.

Bio ionic allows the temperature to be adjusted so you don’t have to go full heat on days you just need a touch up. Again, couldn’t be happier!.
