20 Best Fingerless Gloves For Typing (2023 Updated)

I have both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis affecting the joints of both hands so severely at times that I have loss of use in them and the pain can be unbearable. I’ve tried many types and brands of compression gloves to help with swelling and to help keep my joints and ligaments warm and limber.

I have medically prescribed thumb stabilizer braces for both hands that while they do the job to prevent extreme motion of my thumbs, are uncomfortable, bulky and prevent me from being able to do the simplest of daily tasks, which is an unrealistic option for me except for night-time use.

These gloves actually do everything stated and from the moment I put them on, I found relief. They are tight enough to provide the compression I need and the materials of which they are made keep my joints warm, but do not cause my hands to be sweaty.

These also cover all of the joints in every finger without hindering my ability to use my hands and fingers for tasks I need to do. For anyone considering purchasing these gloves, I urge you to do so, you’ll be glad you did.

Make sure to measure your hands properly so that you can get the proper fit- my hand measurement was on the border of two sizes and I chose the smaller size to be sure of a good compression. Removing them is slightly awkward because I chose the smaller size and I have to ‘peel’ mine off, but then I just flip them right-side out once removed and they are ready to slip back on again when needed.

I do not experience any numbness or loss of feeling from the compression, either. I honestly cannot believe I have found a pair of arthritic gloves that give me such relief at such low expense, especially considering what I’ve paid for the other products I own.

I plan to purchase a Thermoskin product for my knees in the future, as well.

These gloves are slightly difficult to put on due to the rubber like material. Its even harder to get off but once on feels comfortable, helps keep your hand warm. However with the fingertips exposes it allows the user to use a touchscreen or to type.

Suitable for internal use only, it cannot keep your hands warm enough for winter, it does not have thermal protection and is not designed for that purpose. Happy to recommend but due to the difficulties putting it on and off, I have doubts as to the durability of this.

Its also not cheap for what is essentially just a glove.

Would rate between 3 and 4 stars – gloves do what they say, but velcro tabs can be hard to do up. Hello, ‘arthritis’ gloves? Can get a bit sweaty and itchy on palm side of gloves due to grip pads. Found grip pads annoying initially but now find them indispensable.

Really good product overall.

There are not many choices when it comes to wool fingerless gloves. I’m glad OR still make these. The wool is fairly finely woven and not loosely woven like my other gloves so they resist a bit of wind.

I use this for winter fishing in the west coast of British Columbia and they are perfect. I bought multiple pairs so that I could let one pair dry while using the second pair on the water the next day.

This is my 3rd purchase of these gloves. I work outdoors year round as a dog trainer and these are a must have. I need my fingertips free to dig dog treats out of my pocket and manipulate leash connections.

These gloves are perfect. My hands stay toasty warm even if a bit of water hits them as I wash a water bowl. The wool is thick so it doesn’t soak through to my hands. I’d be miserable without them!.

They’d be perfect if they were durable, but both hands started developing holes near the base of the thumb after about 9 months. By 12 months there were the size of a quarter, even though I only use them while typing, walking, and other casual daily activities.

I’d happily pay more for them if they would last 5+ years (maybe add a leather patch over the palm area?).

These are really nice looking and warm ideal for a person that is working on a cold storage but not driving a fork lift so often. the grip is good for driving a for lift but when you put the cap on it is difficult for the shift operation so they are Ideal for supervisor or that person are not driving that many times.

Great comfort. Easy to switch between mittens and fingers. Didn’t melt when I was flipping hot wood back on my camp fire.

Gloves are k I would of love it if they had gripping to make job easier when working in warehouse

The quality of these are even better than expected. The fit is exact, like very exact. I actually struggled to get the cuff over my hand to get them on at first, and still do a bit, but after a brief break in period they softened up and are much easier to get on.

For me personally that’s great because I don’t like loose gloves, I like them snug. If you’re concerned this might be an issue for you, follow the sizing chart and then go one size bigger. The gel palms feel right too, but again, I’m a minimalist, someone else may prefer a thicker gel pad.

I purchased these for shooting sports as I needed ample palm padding but didn’t want something bulky. The gel padding is light but in all the right places for a handgun grip. A little snug but very comfortable.

I haven’t had them long enough to comment on durability, but they seem to be well-made. I would purchase again.

The quality was good. The leather was thinner then I would have liked, but great for the price. You get what you pay for. They fit was good, right size. Package with the other items I ordered.

I bought these gloves for my sister for her birthday, and she absolutely loved them! She is quite petite, so I ordered the XS and they fit perfectly. She adored the red color and elegant look. They arrived before the expected ship date.

I really love these wrist warmers- the asymmetric design gives it a lovely appeal, especially together with the short sleeved shirt. The points align with eachother and the matching fabric makes it look perfect together.

These arm warmers are amazing. I love them. They are very well made, soft and very pretty. They fit perfectly.

The good: The gloves fit well. The material at the palm area seems pretty durable after 2 month of use. No damage, tear, etc. The Bad: The overall product quality is poor. The threads came loose after a couple of times of use.

The elastic band around the wrist started to loosen to the point that the velcro no longer can be matched up. The thing that bugs me the most is after a few weeks of use the black color starting to dye my hands after workouts, and it is hard to wash out.

Overall, the gloves are good for about 2 month if you use it almost daily. After that, you are probably going to be looking for another pair from another brand, like me.

1) Pros:This is the second pair of these gloves that I have purchased over the last three years. Very durable. Machine washable. Non-shrink. Fits very well. First pair was brown, no problem with that color staining my hands.

2) Con: Second pair is black. Wait for it. yep, black stains on both hands. Washes off fairly easy.

I like these gloves because they simply provide protection against skin rips and monster callouses. They have minimal padding which helps me grip the bar better. If you get the right size, they are easy to put on but not really easy to come off which is a huge advantage.

Bought a 7. 5 & 8. 8 was a great fit, however the wrist area with the snap is VERY tight. Hopefully they will stretch a bit with wear. there should be two snaps or maybe a bit of elastic on each side.

I don’t have large wrists, so was surprised by how tight they are. They actually dig into your skin at the wrists. Also, I’ve been trying to return the 7. 5 size for 10 days now. Received the return authorization on 2/18 saying I’d receive a return shipping label.

4 days later no label. Sent an email and next day got a response saying they weren’t sure why I hadn’t received the label and would get back to me. A week has gone by, 2 more emails to them. No response?????.

I bought the Alessa blue driving gloves and am thrilled that they fit my hand and especially my fingers perfectly. I find with most gloves I have almost an inch of extra leather because my fingers are not that long.

Your gloves feel like they were custom made for me !!! The leather is soft and supple and the stitching is done beautifully and strong enough for lots of use for years to come. The colour is luxurious and very vibrant which I love.

Looking for some other pairs in turquoise and purple !!.

I ordered what has been my usual size, 7. 5 and they were too small, so I returned them. I took a chance on ordering an 8. 5 (as the 8 was sold out) and although I could get the 8. 5s on my hands, they were just wide enough around the hand but the fingers were cut SO tight, as well as the snap being very tight across my wrist (which would have stretched and loosened up) but the holes on the tops of the gloves did not fit where they should.

Overall, just a really ill-fitting glove for me. I wanted to love them! The leather was very nice and it was made well, just poor fit (at least for me).

As soon as I put these gloves on, my poor swollen hands started thanking me. I am also able to bend my wrists more comfortably. I bought my Isotoner Fingerless Gloves a month ago. I have psoriatic arthritis in my hands so I thought these gloves would be helpful. They feel great and they do help my hands and fingers. The reason I only rated them , “good” was because I think they should go up over the knuckle on my thumb.

It would be a great benefit to me and my poor thumbs.

I am truly happy with this purchase. Sometimes my wrist just aches. I started using these while I’m working and what a difference. It just doesn’t happen. I’m super happy with this purchase.

My first pair did not work out too well as the material was clearly not as good (somehow there was more fraying within the first 24 hours of wearing). I requested for an exchange since I really needed help for my carpal tunnel and pain in my fingers as a result of prolonged wrists injury on both hands.

Incrediwear support made it easy to return and exchange. The new pair was definitely better but the material will still get “fuzzy” over time as I obviously need to touch multiple different surfaces and grey color tends to get dirty fast.

The material washes well in the washer and dryer (delicate runs). Because my fingers and palm tend to swell due to poor blood circulation and inflammation (carpal tunnel), wearing the gloves “holds” my palm together at night.

Feels uneasy initially but it’s way better than wearing a splint in terms of comfort (not comparing function). During the day, I sometimes wear the gloves under my splint so I get best of both worlds.

While the gloves do not have compression, I seriously can feel the material promoting blood flow. My fingers stay cold most of the time even after hand exercises. But with the gloves, my fingers warm up faster and feel less numbing.

Just like all the products I’ve tried (knee & ankle sleeves), the positive effects show up in about 2 days if worn consecutively, ~24 hours.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and was looking for a pair of gloves to wear during work. My Physical Therapist recommended these gloves as he has had a pair for years. When I received my gloves, I was disappointed because one of the gloves had a rip in the thumb.

I contacted the customer support and they immediately sent me a replacement pair. I was asked to return the old pair and was given a return label. I decided to hold onto the old pair until my new one came.

I was disappointed with the new pair as there was also a hole in one of the fingers. I used one glove from the old and one from the new for about an hour before I noticed another hole forming. Honestly I don’t even know if it is worth the hassle of getting a third pair or just junking the ones I have now and taking the hit.

My 84 year old father suffers from extreme arthritis and he can’t stop raving about how much better his hands feel! I have the knee brace and I feel the same way. So comfortable compared to the other 25 I tried over the years.

These gloves are a little on the delicate side, but I am so glad to have bought them! I had thousands of tiny blisters all over my hands and no amount of steroid creams or lotions plus cotton gloves at night would alleviate the pain.

I have an allergy to stainless steel, which is EVERYWHERE, but after using these gloves for 2 weeks my hands are almost like new! They are thin, cool, and well-fitted which allows me to wear them to work to type, use my smart phone, chop veggies, and do all sorts of dexterous things without ever taking them off.

I ordered a size small, and while the fingers are a little short, the gloves still fit well. I washed them on gentle in cold water, then threw them in the dryer briefly and laid them out to dry. The glove fingers stretched out a tiny bit in the direction I curl my fingers, but it’s not a huge amount.

Overall, not super difficult to care for and they’re pretty resilient. I would highly recommend these. I’m planning to order a 2nd pair soon :).

Hands down these are the BEST gloves for hand eczema EVER!!!! I wasn’t expecting much of a difference from the many gloves I have tried in the past. Turns out that the Tencel & Zinc that are contained within the fabric of these gloves allow them to breathe.

This prohibits the fabric from clinging to the skin which can be uncomfortable. I began by buying 1 pair as they are more expensive than traditional gloves. I now own multiple pairs! A+++++.

Drake fingerless camo pattern gloves are perfect for my fishing, they are snug but not tight and the rubber dots on palm grip my fishing rods and reels great! Lightweight warm weather fingerless gloves with rubber material on palms for gripping are very difficult to find, so I appreciate Drake offering them! I have short, stubby fingers and overall small hands for a man and these gloves are perfect!.

A lot of gloves on the market these days, few are designed correctly. The fingers are cut off at the right length. Perfect grip on the palm. Material is just right for the season. 10/10 on these.

I LOVE stripes. I wear some sort of stripe thing every day (living my best beetlejuice life over here) so I had to get these. They’re really soft and keep my hands cold (which is great cause I live in PA where it gets crazy cold).

I like that they’re fingerless though so I can still text and use my hands.

I got the red and black pair while they were on sale. Worth every penny. They’re soft, stretchy, and thicker than expected. The red was pretty vibrant, and they were super comfy to wear.

This is my 2nd pair of Floso gloves and i have to say, they are the best gloves money can buy. Hardwearing,comfortable and very warm, my first pair are still wearable after years of abuse wearing them on long winter nights whilst our fishing I definitely recommend these gloves for any outdoors person.

The gloves are advertised as being unisex. I am a female with large hands but not like a mans and found the glove too tight. The fold back mitten section is great but there is no fold back thumb cover that my previous gloves of the same brand had.

Quality and price were good.

Appear to in fact be made in USA (stamped Newberry Knitting Co-made in USAon the cuff). I ordered a size 4 which translates into medium (looked up a GI glove size chart online as these correspond with that) Good warmth for weight, some itch as its wool but its ok.

I ordered the brown ones and the bottom of cuff has a thin stitch of black thread at bottom. Same basic premise of glove as OD colored ones Ive had from elsewhere.

The coyote brown glove inserts are great. They will most definitely help keep my hands warm. I’ll be taking a trip to my local box store and find some good leather gloves to fit over them. Need to have them with me so as to find The right size leather gloves to fit over these insert while wearing them.

Can’t just order any old glove.

I don’t know if it is the dye, the latex elastic, something else added in other than cotton in the 100% cotton blend, or just a low thread count, but this is very rough material & very itchy under my wrists/arms even after washing them (& in order to wash to soften, can’t follow the recommended instructions, so it causes the fabric to peel & then have to use a clothing shaver).

Very, very scratchy. It is also not as well made as people are claiming. They just surged the edges. These are adorable otherwise but I can’t keep them on even a few minutes. If you are sensitive to fabrics at all, then don’t get these.

I’m going to try soaking them in white vinegar next to see if that softens them/makes them less scratchy. The problem is too much washing makes them shrink. I saw two other reviews that were similar.

Part of my low star review is because of the response to my question that basically said no one else experiences this & didn’t answer all my questions. I feel bad if it’s just the way the fabric is made/something on their supplier’s end but this is really NOT good quality fabric at all.

I grew up with my grandmother sewing for me. She would take me to the fabric store & have me feel fabrics. I worked retail several years on the side. I know my fabrics and these are really rough. Possibly because it’s printed material or the green dye but it’s not soft.

It will probably, sadly, be very faded by the time I get it to not be so itchy. So because of the low quality fabric, I’m giving it a low star rating.

I love my gloves it’s a very artistic way of wearing pages from your favorite books. I think that the only issue is that each story should come in the same colors so that they can order what they want and the color they want.

Some people may see a glove in green but they want it in another color because it doesn’t match their jackets. One more thing about the scarfs. You have a tie up one which I wanted but it wasn’t the right kind of story.

I was so excited to get my gloves and scarf which I do love but the next day they went on sale and they wouldn’t sell me the sale. That’s life.

Peter Pan has always been one of my favorite stories. When I was small my brother gave me the nickname Tink, and I got these gloves because I can see Tinkerbell on them. Now my brother is gone, but I can wear these gloves and keep my hands warm, and think of him, while I read my books.

The fit is nice and snug which I like, and the material is so soft. I washed them on a gentle cycle, and let them air dry. I have small hands so the size fit me perfectly. I will be adding another few more pairs to start a collection.

Just used these gloves for the past 2 mornings while fly fishing in the Mountain Fork River in OK. Temperature was 32 the first morning and 28 the second morning. Gloves worked great and kept my hands warm.

I bought these for my wife. She enjoys being outdoors during winter storms. The gloves provide finger mobility while maintains her ability to make precise touches with her fingers. She will never use bulky finger gloves again.

I’m a man, and always seem to need size X-Large when I buy gloves. Well, I got a pair of these in XL, and they did not disappoint. They fit – and feel – great. No problem with the size whatsoever. One slight drawback I noted is that the exterior surface of these gloves is very soft and smooth: they tend to slide (don’t grip) on, say, a cold steering wheel.

So with that in mind, I wouldn’t recommend them as driving gloves.

Good quality and warm. Delivered quickly. Only issue is I ordered L/XL but I can only just get them on. So beware if you’ve got big hands!

These fingerless gloves are so beautiful and so soft! I love the hook that is designed to keep them together when not wearing them. Nice touch! Don’t lose your mittens!!

This is my first pair of fingerless rabbit fur gloves, oh my goodness they are so soft, warm and very comfortable. They are the BEST gloves I’ve ever owned. After getting my first pair I went back and purchased a second pair in a different color.

Love my Rex rabbit knit fingerless gloves! I bought them on Black Frost. My daughter admired them so got her a pair in black to coordinate with her winter coat. Ssssh. don’t tell her because they’re part of her Christmas present!.

These are a lovely, thick but flexible, quality product. Sometimes fingerless gloves are the only sensible option and I wear them a lot. But when my last pair fell apart I searched all over to find new ones What I found were badly made or not fingerless gloves but fingerless mittens.

Worse still many had that useless flap thing with a button on the back. Just when I started to think I’d never find a pair like my old favourites I stumbled upon these. Not only that, but these are actually better than my previous pair.

My only suggestion though would be to offer a wider range of colours. With some bright festive ones to buy I would’ve treated myself to a second pair.

These gloves were purchased as a gift for my Father as a replacement for a handknitted pair, which had seen better days! The original pair had been lovingly knitted by my Great Aunt M, so the Barbour gloves were up against stiff opposition! Needless to say these gloves have been given a big thumbs up (although Great Aunt M’s are still being kept for “just in case” situations! Reality is, there are a lot of memories and love in Great Aunt M’s gloves).

Lets hope these Barbour gloves last as long!.

Excellent product! The fit is superb, snug and very comfortable. These gloves are soft to the touch and keep hands warm in the most biting of winds and frost. The colour green is practical and the gloves are an ideal accessory, going well with both casual and more formal wear.

I would certainly buy them again and recommend them without hesitation.
