20 Best File For Natural Nails (2023 Updated)

I’ve seen these a few times while nosing around here. I needed some new files, I’ve been doing my own nails for years and a lot of times I find that my files don’t last very long. I love Japanese products and knew that these would be of a higher quality than most that are offered.

It may seem a bit expensive for the 3-way buffer, but sooooo worth it. Another bonus is that you can replace the pads, keep it clean using an alcohol prep pad, just don’t use the alcohol on the white buffer.

I seem to go through the white buffers faster and you can buy just those or the whole set. The white buffer, as well as all three sides give you a smooth glossy shine that looks like you just polished them.

I can’t believe how smooth my nails are without using polish and find that I don’t put color on them as much. Also included in the set were six normal files. These hold up very well and don’t separate from the board.

The grit is 120/180,and I’m not sure what the grit is for the 3-way buffer. There’s also instructions to get the best results for healthy nails and to increase growth. I can’t say enough about these and they are the only ones I’ll be using from here on out.

I expect the buffer to last a long time, that’s if it survives my cats who love to play with it and chew on it occasionally.

For a guy, I need a nail file that makes good edges instead rugged or sharp edges. This winter time makes your skin very dry and tend to scratch. Nail smooth edges prevents worst skin irritation. Plus the product are great and sturdy.

It doesn’t wear out or break easily.

At first I got the set with a nail file, cuticle cream and block and loved everything in it soo much, but it was way too expensive. Then I found this hidden little deal just for the nail files. and now I am a happy camper!They are perfect.

They don’t get dull quickly, and provide helpful instructions for those of us who usually get their nails done and when that’s not an option have no clue what to do. Anyway, this is a great set for a very good price.

Ever since I tried glass nail files at a spa I’ve been obsessed. They last much longer, are easier to clean and they don’t flake off any grit like the paper ones. I was going through nail files like crazy until I can across these.

Was expecting this to be a little gimmicky when I ordered it, but it has really exceeded my expectations. It’s durable and works really well. The protective case is nice to have too and it’s pretty! I definitely recommend and may even buy a few of these as gifts.

Love how strong they are, they don’t leave a Black residue behind, can easily tap dust out. Can be used for acrylics or natural nails (file with a light hand.)

I ordered these for acrylics, and they work great. Super coarse and I am able to reuse one many times without it breaking down. Awesome product, will order again.

This is the best nail file I’ve ever seen. It’s amazing how smooth yet efficiently it files. This particular file is 2 mm thick, which is thin enough to get the under side of nails, and to use the point under the nail.

I still have a good one similar to this from about 10 years ago, and thought I’d never find another one as good, but this one is even better, as it’s even thinner. Don’t hesitate to buy this file. I bought this exact file – even the same color – elsewhere, but I wanted to leave a review here because there aren’t many, and people don’t know what they’re missing out on.

This is a quality file. The surface is etched permanently into the file, not sprayed on, and it should last and stay sharp indefinitely, as long as you don’t break it. Keep it in the pretty click shut case, and you have a lifetime purchase.

Not many things are this well made anymore, especially at this price. Just get it. You won’t regret it.

LADIES!!!Did you know that you’re supposed to use a glass/crystal file for shaping or shortening your nails? It’s even not recommended to use clippers. So, I went and picked up some medication and long behold they were right there.

When I used it it was smooth without any frailing of the nail. I highly recommend these nail files or even at least look into this Lil fact.

These are too harsh for my natural nails. I tried to file lightly using the lighter side, but this file removes too much nail and did not leave them very even, so if I want to get them in better shape I’d end up taking off a lot more nail.

My hands are very sensitive to rougher grit like 180, so I really love the 220/320 options for slight shortening and smoothing without tearing up my skin. I filed all my nails, and there’s still enough grit for several more filings.

This file fits nicely in my average-sized hands, allowing for precise control and ease in using every inch of the grit.

I love these little foam boards! They come individually wrapped in a little bucket. They’re small so I have no issues keeping them in my purse/gym bag/make up bag. You never know when you’re going to need a nail file! I use them on my natural nails, but since there are two grits per file, you could also use them on your fake nails.

My staff all can agree these files are their favorites. We use them once and discard. These are cost effective and do the job. We do not use them for artificial nails but everything else.

Firstly: I will start by saying that, I have used this top coat (religiously), for probably 10 (ish) years, and don’t plan to stop! Secondly: This top coat is pretty amazing (in my eyes) in just about all areas.

It is one of the few top coats I have used that dries PROPERLY, and in a pleasantly quick amount of time. It’s kind of like mani-magic, if you ask me! I am also a fan of the fact that, you don’t need a large amount of this polish to get full coverage, which makes one bottle go a long way! Thirdly: I use this a lot just on my plain natural nails, but when I use it as a top coat over a colored polish, I am able to apply it without the base polish being 100% dry.

and it doesn’t at all affect or ruin anything! Which is great for someone who is impatient, like myself 😂. It also seems to have a big impact on the base polish (that take forever to dry) by speeding up the entire drying time as well as lessening the chances of the smudges that happen when you over-trust the appropriate dryness of the polish.

Fourthly: One small issue I do have, though. if you use too much (or more than two coats), especially over base polishes, it can easily peel off. and always at the most convenient times! (NOT!) Other than that, I pretty much always love the results.

I’m a big fan of OPI nail polishes. Yes, they do cost more than some other brands; but I find the OPI polish lasts longer on my nails vs some of the cheaper brands. Recently purchased Bubble Bath, and I love the color.

I think it would look great on most skin tones. My only complaint (but not a deal breaker) is that it takes around 3-4 coats to get the color shown in the pictures. One coat comes across as a pretty sheer pink, and I still wasn’t completely satisfied using two coats (which is what I typically use for other colors).

Would definitely recommend though.

I would have given this product five stars, for the effectiveness of the file and the fact that it uses true diamond dust; however, this file is both one-sided only, and, more importantly, very thick.

It’s thickness makes it a challenge to file the sides of the nail closest to the skin. I would LOVE a file that is two-sided, and 1/4 the current thickness. It would be so much more delightful to use.

Purchased this for husband. He is amazed how well it works. He does all our lawn and yard care, so his hands and nails get hard use. He even loves the presidential soaps on his skin. Products are great and would order again.

I purchased this file specifically because it was plain blue for a themed gift basket. I was disappointed when I received one with a pink floral design.

I really just bought this because I was at Ulta and needed a new nail file. There’s nothing remarkable about it — though also nothing bad about it, either! 🤣

I ordered because who doesn’t need a nail file, but they sent me a totally different design that is not shown in the photo. I got a white one with lipsticks on them, very random and a waste.

I’m in love with this file. It’s perfect for smoothing the edges of acrylic nails without taking too much off.

I`ve recently started to do my own acrylic nails – I realized I must stock up on 180 grit files for shaping and filing. I found these in a 2 pack , and thought for the price it`s worth a try. The performance is really good, and one lasts quite few uses on each side.

I will certainly purchase again to stock up before they are all used up.

THIS is my go-to nail file. The size and shape make it easier for me to file my nails the way I like. Works well for both my manis and pedis. I buy a couple of these files every time I buy something from Butter.

I’m always so pleased when I receive these as a gift w/ my purchase. I’d by them myself too. The grit is great for natural nails, however, a slightly softer grit on one side would be preferable. It’s my only reasoning for not giving it 5 stars.

Otherwise it’s a perfect purse/travel sized nail file. Not too small or too big, the grit doesn’t wear out quickly, and the curved shape makes it easier to hold and properly file. Dig it.

This has been my favorite file for shaping my nails for several years now. I have tried other banana files but none measure even close to this file. It is just the right size and curve to make my nails look their best.

In addition, the quality of the file, itself, is unsurpassed. These files last a very long time. I highly recommend them.

My first unit same makemodel died after 5 years, 8 years??? idkI use the unit at home on my and my husbands hands and feet, natural nails every 1-2 weeks. This new unit was less expensive and of good quality.

Also, the handheld portion of the new unit weighs less is much easier to hold, the low speed is slower which is nice for natural nails – the unit still has plenty of speed for non-natural nails tooI dont get past about 1/4 turn of the dial, and its quieter.

Very, very pleased with my new purchase. Would definitely purchase the unit again and recommend the unit to anyone.

The Nail-Tek Crystal File is a must for nail maintenance. I was sick of purchasing emory boards, buffers and tools to achieve a great manicure. This is my second Crystal File from Nail-Tek after many years of use and the first saved me a ton of money.

It does a great job on my soft and, at times, peeling nails. No more since using one of these. Make the investment and you won’t be disappointed!.

I got this nail file to replace the emery boards I would normally use. I was so excited I purchased a travel size and the regular sized one because I heard how wonderful glass nail files are. Unfortunately, i regret this purchase.

I have used this file only a couple of times and it isn’t even sharp enough to file fake thin nails. It takes a long! Time to file regular nails. Depending on your nail type I would say skip this purchase.

Even if it works at first, i noticed within only two or three uses the file gets smooth and doesn’t work as well. I wanted to love it, but it is definitely a pass.

I just needed a nail file ASAP to smooth out my rough nails, and these files did just that. It works great and it’s not too rough nor too gentle. My “Manicure” Style: I don’t do anything fancy with my nails.

I cut them short, but I like to them to have a round and even shaped, because I have this weird thing where I want my nails to look the same, even when they’re almost never painted.

The file says for natural nails and it does work on natural nails, but it also works on my dips too. It’s not too hard, but not too soft.

Yup. It’s a nail file. No surprises there. It is even two sided! Pink on one side, even pinker on the other! Good thing I wasn’t looking for a blue one. This one is just right. It does exactly what you would hope! It files your nails and doesn’t do laundry.

That would be my one requested improvement.

I got this as a gift. I decided to give it to my niece and she loves it. The four different grades of coarseness makes it perfect for anyone whether you have long nails, short nails, artificial nails or anything in between.

Used this file on my press-ons to remove the sharp edges and it worked perfectly. I love that there’s 4 levels of coarseness so that when I remove my press-ons I can use the same file on my natural nails.

It’s hard to find a nail file I like. These are excellent. Not too rough for my fine nails. Usually the ones I buy are harsh and just end up cracking my nails and leaving them rough instead of smooth.

I love the colours too.

Not all nail files are created equal. These are the best. I’m certain it applies to the entire line. I used the Lemon Lime for fine filing and buffing – natural nails.

These s are probably the best nail file I have ever, ever used!! I have tried these and the black ones and other colors and they all work amazingly. Most nail files (especially the black ones) leave a horrible dust and barely file.

These have 2 sides. One is more coarse. I will forever use this brand as long as they make them!.
