Note that they do not come with a strap with a suction cup. I ordered those also as part of this order. That’s what my uncle has for his boat and what I was trying to replicate. This setup works really well.
I own a Ranger bass boat, many of the larger docks that we use during tournaments are made for cruiser type boats. The normal round bumpers do nothing to keep the metal of these docks from digging into the top cap of your boat.
These type bumpers are perfect as the smaller portion covers the top cap and the bend contours perfectly with the boat. I use rope for the Cleat and purchased suction cups for the bottom to stick to the hull of the boat.
Fender is made fairly well. Contour bend matches to my 18’ Bayliner perfectly. Eyelet seams strong enough for a good rope tie. Thickness is thick enough to protect against any bouncing or bumping a dock.

These are excellent quality. Holding up very well and not scuffing anything. However, the manufacturer’s sizing seems a bit off, at least for sailboats. G-6 is rated for 30-40ft vessels, but the G-6 is very large.
G-5 is more appropriate for sailing vessels 30-35’. Go out and measure the dimensions you want, rather than relying on the manufacturer’s length ratings.

I go overkill on bumpers due to storms coming in overnight and I’ve seen the damage done to other boats from lack of too little bumper protection. Hole in center design allows you to string a bunch together if the dock has a particular quirk to it and tide going up down presents different concerns.
I’m working on a PVC tube inserted into the hole in center bumper(s) to make a giant roller underneath a SIB to get it up on beach instead of having to leave it anchored offshore in rough weather. There are no docks where I go sometimes in the Apostle Islands (Lake Superior).
I picked us a pair of these. I needed a larger stronger fender for a heavy vessel with a delicate colored hull I was looking to protect, these do it as good as I hoped. Though they are strong they have a softness to the rubber that I believe will do a great job from marking up a softer Emron hull.

Decided to give these a try to see if they were worth the price. They definitely are. I was using the standard round fenders before with adjustable straps to try to make putting them on and off easier but theses mission fenders make it even easier.
Just run them through the cleat and tighten down to desired height. These work great for Yamaha boats as the rear cleat is only a few inches above the water line. Traditional fenders just float in the water and don’t offer protection.
I used them while my boat was docked at Norris for a vacation and they did fantastic. I plan to buy more of them.
I have been using Sentry fenders for a few seasons now. I purchased these primarily for their flexibility in application. I own an old Chris Craft that had just come out of a multi year restoration at the time I purchased these fenders.
Needless to say, there is a lot at stake in the protection of my boat. With the Sentry fenders, I can adapt almost any docking situation into a safe, protected docking for my delicate boat. I can not recommend these fenders more.
Hooked to the dock at Ozark’s, came back an hour later and the fender had pulled out of its flat strap and was floating in the water as my boat bounced against the dock. We Tied up to 2 boats in Iowa at our frequented lake, and within 20 Minutes the fenders rode up above our boats and were clanking together.
We tried a couple different positions a few times and nothing with them worked. They are a great idea, look great, but didn’t work in either application I tried. Back to the good ol round bumpers it is.

The quality is good and Walmart. com had the best price at the time that I was shopping for them. I actually purchased these to permanently install them on the 6″x 6″ post of my boat dock. The oval shape and the large holes on the top and bottom, made them perfect for mounting on a post.
One can use a stainless steel lag bolt and flat washer to mount where needed. With their oval shape, they fit better against a post than the round style fender/bumpers do. Their width and length is just right for a 6″x 6″ or larger dock post.
One tip that I will offer: These come already inflated but have a fill needle valve hole like a basket ball. If you use them for the purpose that I did, be sure to mount them with the fill needle valve hole to the top, outside, in case you ever want to add air to them.

I purchased these fenders to replace some really cheap ones that wouldn’t hold air after only one boating season. The Taylor Made fenders look really nice, and feel softer than other fenders so I feel like they won’t mar the sides of the boat.
I have had them for a couple of weeks now and they have provided great protection for my boat in the marina slip. They stay in place well and never move out of position. I have not needed to add any air since I received them, and I feel confident they will prove to be very durable and last many boating seasons.
For the money, I don’t know how a fender could be of any better quality.
Well made fenders. Certainly protect the boat, and they look as good as a fender can. It has a tough job being smashed between the boat and the dock! I have had these for many years, and only needed new ones because my new boat is a different color, and the fenders got to match!.
The Super Gard fenders do well at protecting my boat which is tied to the end of the dock. My boat is a 49′ sailboat and it get pushed into the dock fairly hard when the wind is from a certain direction, especially during a thunderstorm.
Two or three of these fenders offer ample protection especially when I hang them horizontal to the water. The only reason I rated them a 4 star rather than 5 is because they do not last as long for me as some of the other Taylor Made fenders.
Mine are in full sunlight all year and it seems like they don’t last any more than a couple years, maybe three, and the material starts wearing off and eventually will not hold air. All the other Taylor Made fenders I’ve ever had lasted much longer than these.
But West Marine has always replaced them for me since they have a lifetime warranty.

I’ve built several small craft wooden boats. Most of these have hardwood gunwales which need to be protected when docking. These pontoons protect not only topsides but also the gunwale edges. Well made.

I bought two large fenders to protect the swim platform ladder and stern light whilst hoisting the dinghy. They are perfect for the task an much more. They were somewhat deflated and the very nice and apologetic sales clerk said I would need to go to a gas station to inflate them.
Shook my head and asked if they had a needle to sell to do so. Negative. They had a tiny hand pump that required 170 pumps per fender to properly inflate them. Danvers, MA store. Come on WM, you are too good an organization to be putting long time customers through this.

Perfect dock fender for my 18-foot bowrider. I chose to buy three to provide extra protection along the straight sides of the hull. The black color is great on the lake because it hides all the gross stuff that clings to the fender.
My neighbors at the dock have white fenders that sit in the lake all season and they look yucky. My black ones are yukcy too, but at least you can’t see it. I took one star off because it seems unreasonable that these cost almost $50 each.
I blame Taylor Made for that, not Home Essentials Direct. Yes, it’s cheap insurance against boat damage, but these are just thick vinyl balloons. $25 would be more appropriate. maybe even less.
I have 4 boats and all have Taylor Made fenders, these are the only ones I will use on any boat. They do not get hard in the cooler weather like others made. They are easy to inflate and clean to keep them looking fresh.

These fenders are very strong. The hinge helps it conform to the contours of the boat. Bought the black to not show dirt and mildew. Covering is vinyl which will be easier to clean than fabric covers.
I purchases these to use on our pontoon boat. I connected a rope with a hook on the back side around the split in the small side of the fender. Used this as the bottom then ran the rope through the grommet on the large end.
