Best Feats For Gunslinger 5E (2025 Updated)

We’re just getting into Dice Throne and the available characters. It’s a very fun game that leans a little more into luck than strategy. The characters so far have all been very well balanced and fun to play.

It also has some really great component quality and the organization is top notch. I definitely recommend it though would warn not to expect grand strategy and tactics. I find that to be a strength as it balances the playing field between more and less experienced gamers.

It is simple, exciting, fun. Get any character pack which looks interesting to you but also go to the Dice Throne website to read on what each one offers.

Arrived promptly and in great condition, can’t fault Zatu at all, great company and good price. The game itself is awesome, much quicker than some games (30mins), but great tactical depth and replayability.

Played with my 11yr old who picked it up super fast and enjoyed it. The gunslinger and samurai are relatively simplistic characters, so simpler to pick up and play. The box itself is brilliant package for storage, and the components and art work are great.

This is not a conventional RPG, as there’s no story and it’s not really about doing quests, although there are a number of generic, random quests you can do. It’s all about raising your own warband, fighting battles and taking and controlling settlements.

And let me tell you. the battles are fun! I’ve never felt such a feeling of exhilaration playing a game. And I’ve never in my life, even my real life, thrown both arms in the air and yelled “I did it!” which is what I did after a particularly awesome victory worthy of legend and song.

It’s that fun! There’s nothing like thundering across the battlefield ahead of your own company of mounted warriors. Horse riding is a big part of the game and it’s done extremely well. I particularly enjoy riding and I like archery so I fashioned my character as a horse archer.

There’s just something so satisfying about the twang of the bow, and the tremendously gratifying thud as it punches into your enemy. It’s particularly satisfying if the enemy is a heavily armoured knight on horseback and you pull off a really wicked shot at full gallop and watch him tumble from his mount, dead.

Its slow going at first and it takes quite a while to gain proficiency. And let me tell you the ignominy of defeat is every bit as painful as victory is glorious. You’ll be doing a fair bit of running away when you start out.

But once you start getting good (both you and your character) and start winning battles it’s very rewarding. When you’re not fighting you may find it a tiny bit boring and repetitive however. There is no story or quest campaign.

You basically have the choice of trading, hunting bandits or being a bandit yourself (or a combination) in order to raise the capital you need to fund your war party and your quest for glory. So there is quite a bit of grinding involved.

doing the same old quests over and over, killing the same band of bandits over and over and so on. What would really help alleviate this are some more traditional RPG elements, like dungeons to explore and loot and a greater range of quests.

And if the quests weren’t all found on the same people, namely the lords and village elders. If towns and villages had the occasional named character to find and do a quest for it might give you an actual reason to enter them and have a look around, instead of simply interacting with the interface screen that they all have.

For instance you might take a walk around the town of Suno and find a maiden being accosted by a gang of ruffians in an alley. You could rush to her aid and kill them, or try and talk them into leaving peaceably if you have sufficient renown.

Simple things like that would help the game a lot I think. As I mentioned in my previous review, when I’d only played the demo for a few hours instead of the full game for a few weeks, some of the graphics leave a lot to be desired.

Oddly though, most of the graphics are very good, for instance the lighting, landscape, architecture and textures. It’s just the character and clothing graphics that look so dated and ugly. It’s very hard, if not impossible to make an attractive character for yourself.

It isn’t a major thing, and after a few days you don’t notice so much. But it is odd when the engine is obviously quite powerful, to leave such an important aspect of the graphics so decidedly subpar.

Let’s hope the expansion addresses the issue. But one thing I liked a lot about the graphics is the. shall we say minimalist approach. Unlike in most RPGs there’re no particle effects when spells go off (there’s no magic at all actually), no weapon trails, no target boxes or highlights, no stupid green rings under your parties feet, no health bars over your enemies head, no exclamation points over quest givers heads.

nothing but a scrolling list of messages during battles which I believe you can turn off. I absolutely love that! Your HUD is equally minimalist with just the very discreet health bar in the bottom corner and your targeting reticle.

I wish more games took this approach, or at least gave you the option to turn all that crap off! In fact I’d like to see more RPGs set in a more real world setting with no magic or anything like that.

Let’s hope this game sparks a trend. A couple more things to rave about are the tremendous music and simply gorgeous artwork. But one minor point of contention with me that simply HAS to get fixed is how close the chase camera is to your character.

Why the heck is it so damn close? If you have your shield strapped to your back all you can see is the top half of the shield bobbing around with the top of your head poking over the top. Why not give the player the option to adjust it? Are you telling me that would be technically unfeasible? So if they would fix that, fix the character graphics, add some realistic animations and a bit of ambience here and there (when you go into a tavern you’ll see what I mean there), some more and varied quests they would have an absolute classic of a game.

If you’re even remotely interested in this game there’s no excuse not to buy it now the price has come down. And look out for the expansion, Warband, due out soon.

I’m fairly new to Blackstone Labs’ supplements. So far, I’ve been ok with the results RECOMP Rx has helped provide. After taking the recommended doses, I definitely feel something going on mostly in my arms & my pectorals.

I watched “Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger” long before I watched “Power Rangers Dino Charge”, both of which are ‘Morphenomenal’! As soon as I received this product, I studied the choreography on how to use this (Kyoryu Change Henshin Dance), and BOOM; It felt as if I had transformed into one of the Kyoryugers.

While playing with this, I examined the Zyudenchi, each of which had their names & awesome details (just like from the show) that continue to take my breath away. The Saber that came with the Product was also very interesting, especially when it can fold up and connect to the GabuRevolver for more super effects! When “Power Rangers Dino Charge” premiered on TV, I studied the choreography on how it worked in that show, & I was on my way! I may not understand why they didn’t change this Product’s Zyudenchi names to English for the Power Rangers version, but nevertheless, I would definitely recommended this to those who are fans of the Power Rangers / Super Sentai series.
