Best investment I’ve done in 3D printing. No setting up, and started printing straight out of the box. Easiest printer I’ve used so far, and worth the price tag.

Beautiful machine. The slicing software is user-friendly, quite easy to use. The cloud printing function is great. I saved my file in the software and sent it to the target machine when it is available.

A camera is built in the machine, which allows me to check the printing status remotely on my computer I ran it through a series of test prints to try and fine tune the setting. It was feeding well. It prints well at a lower temp, like 200℃ on the hot end.

Good adhesion to the build plate. Just slightly bend the plate to take off the objects. The machine nearly no needs to do setting operation! The defaulted parameter setting is ideal. Compared with the off-brand 3D printer I bought 3 years ago that needs manual leveling on and on, this machine makes it quite easy!.

Was pleasantly surprised after I opened the box and started printing. It seems like I haven’t stopped printing since it came. I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend this printer to anyone looking to start 3d printing or a professional.

The printer being enclosed was a huge benefit especially for printing ABS material and the slicer program is easy to use as well.

I used one for a month or so. It is really a nice printer to learn 3d printing, great for a starter. I had a few email exchanges with the official support, and they are also very responsive. Original filament was not available in Switzerland so I used EasyPLA which also fits to its case.

I think the main problem is if you are interested in 3d printing, you probably will want to have a printer with a bit larger build volume and something that can be modified/customized/upgraded/fixed easily, so probably a more open design.

This is the key question you need to answer when buying this printer.

I love it. I’m totally new to 3d printing but have thought about it seriously for the last 2 yrs and talked myself out of it. I’m glad I waited as the V2 is fantastic. I originally wanted a larger format but decided on this one to see if I’d use it and would want to go further into it.

Wow! This machine is terrific so easy to use, great results and can’t believe how much it can do and without any upgrades. Out of the box and printing within less than an hour! I use the PLA filament and the only problem I’m having as I’m not getting any sleep as there’s so much I want to do.

spent a lot of time researching and following and listening to several u tubers I choose the MakerBot brand. If I had a place to set up in a non- living space or vent to outside I may have gone with a heated bed in order to use ABS, however, PLA has worked well for my needs.

Build platform is removable and so far large enough (get the biggest you can afford). The control panel/menu options are easy to follow. one con is it is quite loud you hear a lot of motor and squealing noises during the print process.

easy to pause print cycle and change filament color and restart the project. Printer frame is solid and unaffected by the moving print head. The light has a blue hue and is hard to see the progress at times and identify a failing print process.

I did have to update the firmware. I have the printer connected via USB cable so I can’t comment on the wireless feature. some prints have taken 9 hours or more and have run back to back print cycles I did have to remove the filament and reinstall because the head lost its grip never was able to identify the reason.

Happy with my selection, I would do it again.

They run the thingiverse website and are fumbling it. Uploaded something today just for it to fall off the face of the planet. Not in my designs, not searchable. You can’t even get to it unless you have a direct link to it.

So I looked up the problem and sure enough, multiple other people are having the same issue with NO resolution for YEARS and NO response from customer support. I wonder how many other designs are lost in the abyss without their creator even knowing.

With how bad they are mismanaging thingiverse, I can’t even imagine how error prone their printers would be. Hope they fold so someone more responsible can take on the stewardship of thingiverse.

Top quality 3D Printer at a good price. The printer was easy to set-up and the first parts came out great. All the parts that I have printed are precise and fine detail given the accuracy of the printer.

Purchased after a few weeks in my College course Intro. to 3D Printing. The extruder nozzle is one of a kind and has some great features to it. MakerBot through Stratasys is a top company involved in 3D printing.

As a first printer I am very satisfied with this purchase. It was simple to set up and the print quality is good. Haven’t encountered any issues so far in about 100 hours of printing. One thing to note is the spool holder seems to be made specifically for FlashForge filaments.

The beauty of 3D printing is you can just go ahead and print a spool holder off thingiverse!.

The Adventurer 3 makes it very easy to get started printing in very little time. Unlike some of the unenclosed printers I’ve had, this product makes it that you just have to plug it in. I did find myself wanting more instructions to have come with the machine, but there are a lot of youtube videos out there.

Also the flashforge tech support was extremely helpful when I reached out to them.

The Adventurer 3 is one of my favourite printers after having experience with several on the market. I’ve been able to get consistent successful prints time after time. My only wish is that the print size was bigger.

Purchased yesterday and assembled immediately. Assembly takes some time, if you rush it may take a lot more time to back up and repeat steps. Written instructions are good but 2D images of a 3D thing can be misinterpreted.

Probably should watch video as well as reading. The tool kit quality is great. The first 2 rails for the Y axis are critical, without correct placement the print head will smack into the print bed during z axis calibration.

Operation is extremely quiet, quieter than ink jet printers. Quality of first print was better than expected. As a first time owner/operator of a 3D printer I am impressed with the machine and excited to learn what it can really do.

Things I would improve: – Include a more reasonable test file, no one wants a black vase that take 4 hours to print. – In the manual (or online) include a list of If this, Then that problems and solutions.

If the print head smacks the print surface then revisit the placement of Y axis rails. – Include a small glue stick to simplify getting the first prints off the surface. You gave me enough PLA to play with but without glue stick it’s like sneakers without laces.

I purchased the Snapmaker 2. 0 directly from the website; however, I find it important to spread the word that this product does not live up to expectations. 1. ) The device itself is a jack of all trades, but master of none.

There are specific machines out there that can do each individual task far better. You can spend $1800 on 3 machines and get better results than you can with the Snapmaker. Obviously, the big draw here is the space saving; however, you have to ask yourself, is it truly worth the poor experience to save 16 sqft of shop space? 2.

) The machine is noisy. Like really noisy. I expected noise during the CNC process, but I have to be in the other room with the doors closed to get away from the milling sound. 3. ) The software is utterly unusable.

Check reddit and the snap maker forums. The provided software is the chief complaint. You can find other slicers, but compatibility is iffy. Ask yourself if you’re ok with the headache of a crafting machine being a chore to use instead of a joy.

4. ) This is a half-baked product. The printing bed is easily warped resulting in botched 3D prints. The calibration only works sometimes so you’re never really sure if it will be a success. Expect lots of wasted material.

I cannot abide that level of unreliability. Lastly, the company doesn’t stand by its product. Based on my interactions with customer service, you’re pretty much on your own once it arrives at your door.

They don’t honor promotions and they don’t support the customer. That’s a big no from me.

Let me save anyone who buys this some headache. make sure your cura (lulzbot edition) and firmware match (and MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE FIRMWARE UPGRADE PROCEDURE TO CARRY OVER ANY CALIBRATION DONE BY LULZBOT, SAVE THE PAPERWORK IT COMES WITH AS WELL).

If you’re running the latest cura, ensure you have the latest firmware. Otherwise, the gcode it generates can make it do all sorts of wacky things as the gcode it generates relys on the corresponding firmware version.

Once I got that sorted out, this thing has been absolutely amazing. If you can use CAD/fusion 360 or whatever, this is an engineers dream come true. I have been drooling over one of these for years and I feel stupid for waiting.

Need clips to mount cables to the wall? I designed them in 5 minutes and printed 10 in 1 hour. Need to replace the toothbrush cup that your bathroom mirror holds? designed in 10 minutes and printed one right up.

Need to replace a part on your fridge that Kenmore wants a fortune to replace? print one up for $1 worth of filament. Honestly, if you’re just printing things from thingverse, this is noting more than a gimmick.

If you can design solutions to your problems in whatever CAD software this is pure, 100% gold. So, why does it cost $1500 when you can get some powerspec for 10% of that? it literally does everything for you.

Automatic bed leveling. Automatic exturder head cleaning before every print, direct drive filament feed, the list goes on and on. You literally just put your print on the sd card, tell it to print it, and walk away.

You don’t waste your time tinkering and wasting filament troubleshooting. Once I got the kinks worked out it has literally been push-button without any hassles. 10 prints so far without a single hiccup (some as long as 20 hours).

Normally I’m very very very picky about what I buy and usually have buyers remorse, even for things that are absolutely perfect for me. Not a single hint of buyers remorse with this though. If you’re the type of person that can use CAD, you can literally print almost anything to solve almost any problem you may have.

The only remorse I have is not getting a TAZ 6 with the larger build area and dual extruder. Get the kinks worked out and get over the learning curve and this thing is 100% rock solid. One of the most well built and well thought out purchases I have ever made.

As a side note, Fusion 360 can use your GPU and cura (Lulzbot edition) can use ALL AVAILABLE threads on you CPU to slice. So if you have a monster workstation, it gets even better as slicing complex objects can be very CPU intensive.

So pleased with the service I received. I was able to get a bigger discount when I called and I was able to get all of my questions answered. There are only good things to say about this machine. It is excellent for large size prints with all features included.

A great purchase if you’re looking for a quality industrial printer. The price is certainly worth it as the quality speaks for itself.

The best machine of its kind. The features to this thing are tremendous. Heated build chamber, great software included, great precision and speed.

I am more than satisfied with the delivery and service at buybestgear (the printer was with me in 3 days). The only point of criticism is the faulty operating instructions with regard to bedleveling.

Point 17 with reference to M420 S1 Z10 is missing. For this reason, the nozzle left me with slight scratch marks in the middle of the plate during the first print. Nevertheless, I give 5 stars. I will certainly order again from buybestgear and can only recommend this company.

Prints out of the box or with minimal adjustment. But only if you don’t get wrong parts inside. Directly from factory. My threaded Z-axis didn’t work with nut – had to wait 1+ month for replacement. Enjoying prints since then.

If you’re looking for a machine that you can just put together and it works, consider this (CR6SE). All 3D printers have a certain amount of learning curve. But some have more than others. This is essentially the same machine as the Ender 3, But with all of the features already upgraded.

The main things that make this a much better beginner machine: It’s only three pieces in the box, So it’s very quick to put together, practically pre-assembled. It also has auto leveling. Leveling is one of those skills that’s really hard to get used to and has to be done before you can print your first things.

Fortunately since this one auto levels you just press a button and can start printing pretty quickly. Like all 3D printers it still need some tweaking, And you still need to learn some skills to get great prints.

But having owned a previous Ender 3 that I ended up returning. This machine is worth the price difference to avoid the headache.

The printer works well overall. It was fairly easy to setup. Nice clean looking machine with the power supply under the hood. The instructions were inadequate IMO. The sd card came with software in some folders.

Being new to 3D printing I didn’t know that for the printer to see the. gcode files that no other file types or directories can exist on the sd. Found this out by digging around online but should clearly be documented in the instructions.

Another annoyance is that nozzle temp is reset after each print and so it has to be re-input. “Auto Bed leveling is a plus. Some fine printing is difficult for the machine using PLA+ with the nozzle catching up the print material forcing me to cancel the print.

I have successfully printed several projects from thingiverse. Some of them are useful but overall it is pretty much a toy that prints toys. Would I purchase this again? No. I’d wait for the CR-3 to go on sale for $99.

I have read reviews of people having several issues of which i have had virtual non. It prints very well. its quiet. Comes as dual Z which is great as it saves me having to convert it to dual z. I love touch screens on printers.

And the printer really is level free. i have not had a single issue with this printer. I love being able to change nozzles, print beds, add tape and having to do nothing more than hit the level button wait for it to warm the bed to 60c and the nozzle to 120c it runs through its very fast leveling setup and the prints just stick.

I have purchased literally 10+ printers from the Madison Heights Microcenter in 2020 and WILL be purchasing another CR-6 SE. All of my currently running 3d printers as of this review[three LD-002r resin printers, two Ender 3 V2, one CR-10S, one Ender5 Plus and the CR-6 SE], The CR-6 SE is the easiest one to get going.

They all work great but with the CR-6 i dont have to do anything but load the filament n click the file i want to print n walk away and know it will stick.

Pros: 1. Enclosure makes it look less intimidating and the print is less likely to be disturbed while in progress. 2. Cheap enough (when on sale) that I don’t feel bad about breaking it and messing around.

Cons: 1. The only slicer that I could find that works with it as easily as it “should”(according to marketing) is WiiBuilder2. 2. The metal shield in front of the hot end makes maintenance a pain. Considering cutting it off most of it and just leaving the bit that triggers the z-stop.

3. Complete pain to find parts for. I enjoyed the hunt, frustrating as it was, but someone that wanted to buy this for their kids/grandkids with the expectation that it would work forever right out of the box would be very disappointed.

Research shows that it is compatible with MK8 heat break throat and uses MK7/8 aluminum heating blocks. I wish MP would provide a parts list with it or somewhere on the website under support for this product.

4. Semi-obscure parts. This is the same as the Weedo Tina 2 printer, as evidenced by the one board, so that pointed me in the right direction to find replacement parts. RECOMMENDATION: If this is supposed to be a “beginner” printer, I wish it came with a maintenance guide.

Just a 50-page book with pictures on how to disassemble and conduct basic fixes would be a HUGE value add for someone that wants this as a TRUE beginner printer for kids.

For my first 3D printer, I am very impressed. I wasn’t expecting anything crazy for the price, but I ended up getting a great machine for an amazing price. All of the work I’ve made so far has turned out great and I’ve logged right under 200 hours on the machine so far without any issues.

Now that I have had this machine for a few weeks and have printed on it quite a bit, I can say I am greatly impressed. It is easy to set up and get printing right out of the box. CAUTION: I did watch a bunch of videos about 3D printing and of the Ender 3 so I was quite familiar with the machine when it arrived.

I am also learning about the slicers, and other print prep programs that you really need to know to have less stress printing. Leveling the bed is the hardest thing about it and if I can do it, anyone can.

Once the bed is level and the temperatures are set right, this printer will do anything you ask it to do. The only complaint that I would have is the size of the build area. If you want to print fairly large prints for CosPlay, you will have to cut them up into smaller parts which brings in the aggravation of getting all those parts to fit together.

Also, be sure to order filament as the printer does not come with it. It has some test filament but I would not recommend setting the printer up with this as it may be different from the filament you will be running.

If you want to print with PLA or PLA+, this printer will print with that right out of the box. I actually want another one. There are many upgrades and add-ons that are available for this printer, but they are notneeded immediately.

One caveat: I have upgraded the boden tube to a Capricorn and the extruder to an aluminum one. I would recommend doing that ASAP.

I purchased this printer used at about 75% of the cost of a new unit. This was as a replacement to a cheaper (Labists) mini printer once I knew this was a hobby worth pursuing. It has all of the features you should be looking for if you want to get into 3d printing without major hassles: a heated bed, control board, and a community of modders and manufacturers with upgrades.

I was left high and dry with the Labists; I couldn’t get good adhesion, had no real time control of temperature, and the print area was small to boot. Plus, there was hardly any support online. Enter the Ender! This thing is worth the hype.

It’s amazing what features you can get for the base price of $160, let alone the $120-ish you can get this for used. I already had filament so I was up and running in just a few hours. It looked brand new when assembling.

It wasn’t until I tried my first print did I discover existing filament in the hot end, otherwise I would have never known. First tip: watch setup videos. Pay attention to the areas where you need to be precise and align well.

Notably, the angle of the X axis bar has some play to it, so align it as well as you can to the bed so the bed can level with minimal adjustment. Pay attention to the Z stop and know how it works. Make sure the printer is on a level surface and has no wobble.

Leveling is pretty easy but finicky. You’ll have to level every few prints just to make sure something hasn’t moved. In stock, the printer prints with high precision and I was excited to have a few great prints pretty quickly, and I learned more as I used it.

I’m now at a point where I understand issues as they pop up and how to fix them. Luckily, in 3d printing, you know pretty quick if there will be a more common issue, so there’s not much waste. Once you are happy, you’ll find yourself wanting to get more out of it, but at stock this works amazingly well.

Most of the upgrades are not critical but make the process easier. My top 3 recommended upgrades are: 1. ) Tempered glass build plate- better adhesion and release. The stock plate sticks well but almost TOO well, and I hate jabbing at the print with a scraper to get it to release.

2. ) Auto-bed leveling kit- leveling isn’t hard and it gets better the more you learn, but an AL kit just makes the whole process easier. You k kw you will get consistent first layers every time. 3. ) Silent board- I got this because I wanted compatibility with the AL kit without needing an adapter but I ended up loving how quiet the printer becomes as a result.

ALL of the high-pitch whines are gone. It’s almost all fannoise now. It’s great, especially since the printer is in my office where I’m often on Zoom calls. 4. ) The rest are low priority, but you can get a bigger print space with extenders, change to laser cutting/engraving, better extrusion, etc.

Great upgrades but this far unnecessary. The point is that you CAN do those upgrades because they are all available. Buy with confidence. You’ll be printing in no time!.

The printer came in with original packaging (at least for me) with additional bolts, fittings and an instruction manual. The hot end fan burned out however, but it was no hassle to replace and was like 5 bucks on amazon for an OEM part.

Printer was easy and fast to set up and prints great. It is easy to operate and maintain. Printer came in well tuned, so requires little adjustment. The included TF card & USB adapter means you can start printing right away! The card has a few test prints along with the digital copy of the instruction manual and troubleshoot guide.

I use Cura slicer and never had G-Code problems. Fans and motors are rather quiet which is good. Some upgrades I would recommend would be a duel gear extruder and a few 3d printed parts like a motherboard fan guard.

The extruder comes with the “press fitted” gear. You can remover it by holding down the gear from the bottom with a vise or pliers and punch out the shaft with a hammer and a flat rod like a screwdriver.

For $130, you get a great printer that costs way less than a brand new one, that is very reliable and easy to use. You can see in the picture, it can make highly detailed prints (some prints got sanded or painted so they look kinda bad).

Highly recommend while they still last.

ive replaced the extruder, and tube collar within 2 months of use. Now it likes to ram itself into my print randomly, ruining the print and wasting time material. there is no fix except to shut the machine off before it breaks itself!!! ive seen similar complaints on reddit with no response!!!.

I have had my printer for 2 weeks now. So far I’m loving it. I bought it to make a prosthetic hand for myself, which is still a work in progress. I need to learn how to 3d model now. The only con I can see so far is the bed is a little small at 150mm square, but I knew that going in.

I’ll just have to buy a bigger one next time.

After much research we decided to make this our first 3D printer and it was definitely the right decision. Extremely plug and play. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to venture into the 3D printing world.

I am New to the world Of 3d printers and wanted one good for a beginner, I like the Anycubic Vyper and are having fun learning the different programs associated with creating and slicing, I think the machine is very good, I have had some minor issues, But the Anycubic Vyper team have been there and responded within the day to my questions by email, I have been making personalised gifts for xmas , but bought machine to make custom light surrounds for my classic scooter, I really like it and it has a lot of features on more expensive machines, so all good,.

I purchased it about a year ago and basically it is a very expensive paperweight! I’ve watched countless videos and read the very minimal instruction manual and yet have not been able to make anything but the one test piece! Every time I think I’ll give it another try it starts the project I put in but craps out halfway through the program! It says it’s user friendly right out of the box but albeit I am very much a novice but i did not agree with that! I had big hopes for this device only to regret buying it.

It is worth noting that in the complete set from the manufacturer there is no stylish suitcase for the tool and spare nozzles. Also there was no glue, although it is listed on the website. Printing from the box with a regular slider with default settings was successful from the first time without any problems.

I did not apply glue to the surface, printed with a backing-it sticks perfectly. After cooling, the model can be moved without problems. I bought at a discount 599 so for the price is really good printer.

Excellent thing, works from box. blue and white PLA were included. I have just some small issues – left nozzle is a little lower than right nozzle and scratches the previous layers on the left side of plate.

Wii-fi connection to access point sometimes does not work without restart, but it seems to me that it is firmware problems and may be fixed soon. It is very comfortable to print via Wi-Fi (printer is connected to wi-fi router).

Came with a detailed assembly book (written in understandable English) and that coupled with online videos removed any initial intimidation I had. All parts very well packaged and organized. The onboard programmer and software communicate very well with each other.

Again- the instructional videos and directions that come with the product are sufficient. There’s a little bit of a learning curve- mostly getting comfortable with the workflow- but given that it offers a variety of CADCAM modalities- I think that’s to be expected.

Tried all 3 functions- 3D printing- successful- nice finish—comes with a generous amount of black shiny PLA. You can use other types of filament as well. No smell. Only issue encountered was initial layers sticking to platform.

I will be looking into enhancing that with polyimide tape which is pretty economical at Microcenter. The CNC carving worked really nice so far. Pretty fast- minimal smell, minimal dust. The laser engraving looks like it will be able to give amazing results but if you are using wood it will of course result in a significant burning smell- so you need ventilation if your project is going to take some time to complete.

I will be either buying their enclosure or a HEPA vacuum or fan to remove the odor. Changing from one modality to another is not that hard. The most time-consuming part is the removal and replacement of screws that affix the platforms- but even that only takes a few minutes.

Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and it’s certainly a piece of technology that I can grow with for a while and learn how to capitalize on the features contained in the software.

I cannot give it 5 stars because one of the axis modules failed after only 10 days. Their warranty is good and they stand behind their product. The Lubon software included is rather tinker toy and does not work that great.

It has its issues but works well enough. I could not get the image overlay to ever work so placement with the laser was guesswork. On a much brighter note, the packaging is the best I have ever seen on a product like this.

The setup instructions are second to none, and the craftsmanship is superb. It is a little loud but I am under the understanding that the new units will all come with the upgraded quiet drivers. The original 2.

8?W laser is quite interesting to use but the new 10W unit is phenomenal!!! It does NEED an e-stop but one is available as an addon.
