This is a great glove. It broke in super quickly, it only took 2 days. One thing is the leather is lighter in person than the picture. Maybe that was just for me, but I actually prefer the look. This glove has a shallow pocket so you don’t feel like the glove is super secure but this is perfect for infield.
The thin heel pad gave a quick break in, but the glove might get floppy more quickly. The palm liner feels amazing. I loosened the web a little so I can feel like the ball is more secure, and that made if feel better.

I just graduated from college as a division 1 baseball player. I used this glove for my first of four years of college ball and I can safely say with confidence that this glove is NOT the glove to buy.
The glove is good before it gets past the peek of its life. Once the glove is overworked and starts to get floppy at ALL, you will have problems with the ball staying in the pocket. It gets slippery, and the web is not strong enough to hold the ball.
I would advise everyone to go buy AllStar catchers mitts, they are more pricey, however you will get a much more quality glove and will have LOTS of less dropped balls. This glove sounds and looks and plays good for a very short time, but will let you down eventually.
I was never going to leave this review, until I saw the catcher from Virginia during the 2021 CWS have the SAME EXACT PROBLEMS I had. We were using the same glove and once I saw he was having the same trouble as me, I had to let the world know to not buy these gloves.
The infield mitts are very good, however I as a division 1 ball player give you the advise to not buy Wison catchers mitts, and to buy AllStar.
Bought this for my 10 year old son to use as an all purpose infield and outfield glove. This is our 2nd A2000. The leather lining is noticeably softer than the older model and the wrist binding leather is a nice touch.
The overall leather quality and color combo are great. We used Wilson’s recommended hot water break in method with a mallet and it was ready to go after a couple days. Do not steam, it’s bad for the leather and voids the warranty.
Try it on in a store if you can. Our local store had 3 and they all fit very differently. So happy with this glove. We are A2000 users for life!.

We were looking to buy a softball glove for our daughter. Searching the site, there are two products that are mislabeled. This one states in the description that it is a black/red tee ball glove but shows a black/mint softball glove.
Then when you search the black/mint softball glove, it’s shows a picture of the black/red tee ball glove. To ensure we got the correct glove, we ordered both. So we’re giving it a 3 because of the mislabeled products and the extra step of having to return the incorrect glove.
Have it a 3 because it really is a great glove, good quality, well made and perfect price in case it gets lost sometime through the summer. Our only issue was that we purchased this for pick-up and it was not teal but red trim and labeled as a t-ball glove.
The store even scanned the red and black one and the numbers were the same so this listing should say “various colors” and not mislead into thinking this is a girls softball glove only. it could be, or you could get a black and red balm glove.
