Excellent little game. I love fantasy theme but what I really like more is having quick turns. You draw a card and discard a card. You don’t play cards unfortunately, but seeing your “fantasy realm” come alive in your hand is great, and you’re always guessing whether you can draw a card you want or whether someone is already holding the card in their hand.

You guess at what combination of cards your opponent might have based on what other cards they’ve been drawing from a communal discard pile. The game is great, it’s fun, it’s fast, and definitely consider getting the expansion.

I’ve been waiting to get this game for quite some time. It’s sells out very quickly. Finally I set the restock alert and bought it as soon as I got the notice. I’ve played a few times and the gameplay is simple and straightforward.

There are lots of different card interactions so there isn’t any one solution to get the best score. I love games where you have to make the best of what you have in front of you. I played with my nephew last weekend and he ended up purchasing the next day.

Wow this game only consists of a stack of cards it has tons of replayability and will boggles the mind. It’s a great game for a larger group and moves quickly. Hundreds of different combinations and things to work towards.

The Cursed Hoard adds to an already exciting game by throwing in 3 more suits to the 10 suit base game adding in more combos and more possibilities for fantastic realms. The expansion also adds cursed items which give you a one time use special ability to get you more points while simultaneously costing you a few negative points.

Will it be worth using the item? That’s for you to risk. The expansion adds to the game’s playtime, which means basically it makes a 15 minute card game last up to 20 minutes. The expansion enhances the game in all the great ways: more cards and special abilities.

Imagine that you are walking on a golden beach. The sound of endless washes crashing and the warmth of the sand between your toes. The poetry of the world comes together at this moment. You look down and see something buried in the sand.

You dig a bit and find something that was once lost to you but no more. You finish your walk knowing that things will get better. Life has a purpose. This expansion is that treasure to me. It turns an already amazing game into an experience that will change my life.

Fantasy Realms is a fantastic game because of the free scoring app for iOS and Android. Without that, it takes longer to score a game than it takes to play one. Unfortunately, the app hasn’t been updated to support the expansion.

That means manual scoring which is a serious chore. I really dread the scoring so much that I won’t add in the expansion until the app gets updated. If they never update it, then I will have wasted the cash on this expansion because it will never get played.

The story line is one of the tops (in my opinion) of the FF games that I have played. Despite the limitations on the game (due to age and technology available when it was created) graphics are well done and fluid.

Story line is fairly linear with little confusion on what needs to be done and how to do it.

Square Soft was the king of Role Playing Games such as the Final Fantasy Franchise, ChronoTrigger, Breath of Fire, even Super Mario RPG to mention a few but not all. This Vault Come Back was to give a breathe of fresh air to the classic 16bit to when Digital Systems were making their take over of the gaming industry.

The Game is exactly how it was during its release for the Nintendo gaming system, except the added dital scenes to add climax to the story line. The Game is very Entertaining for All Ages a very cool way of visting the Past in the changing world of the gaming indsutry.

As it was becoming aware that cartridges were now becoming obsolete in now thriving digital Age.

Two exciting Final Fantasy games in one package! Both FF V and FFVI are included and both games are as fun and compelling as I remember them! I’m so glad I was able to find this collection at a good price.

If you played FFVII or FFIX and enjoyed your experience, you will enjoy both of these games.

I had only played Final Fantasy IV growing up, but that soundtrack alone encouraged me to look into Theatrhythm. I didn’t know the complete-and-collectathon I was getting myself into. This game is jam-packed with content.

There are soundtracks from at least 16 titles right off the bat, amassing 200+ songs total, with 3 different difficulty levels. That’s just for starters. You unlock characters from the games as you go along, quests to obtain said characters and rare items, and rigorous ingame achievements.

I’ve played for 20 hours and I have yet to scratch the surface of what’s left to complete. The rhythm gameplay itself is satisfying and easy to pick up; it is both addicting and challenging to 100% each given song.

I have mixed feelings about the way the controls handle, even though there are 3-4 different control schemes. You need to be very deliberate when using the circle pad versus using the stylus for directional strokes, and the game can be very picky on the timing of each note on certain stages.

You begin to think about the best way to handle a fast string of notes when it seems like a counter to the control scheme. Still, it is exciting when you do nail every note to a melody, the combo allowing characters to use attacks and spell.

The options in the game are hit-and-miss. For a music title, it is a shame that many of the unlockable replacement sounds are out-of-place and distracting. Also, there does not seem to be a happy-medium sound level for the player hits.

There will be songs where you struggle to hear the song over the sound effects, and vice versa. I was surprised that you could not create presets for your teams, meaning you had to manually change around characters and their abilities when you want the optimal set-up for a song.

Overall, the collectathon and completionist nature of the game is enticing and the quantity of music is outstanding. The game is held back by attention to detail for player options, though this is still a solid title given that the 3DS rhythm library is relatively slim.

I would recommend this game to FF and music fans alike, as well as those that enjoy casual, collectathon, or mechanically challenging games.

One of the best rhythm games for the 3DS — a must if you’re a Final Fantasy fan. There are 3 different modes: * Music stages (pick from a selection of your favourite FF songs) — cool when you just want to chill out * Versus Mode (battle online, local or AI) — currently my favourite mode! It can get quite intense.

Fun fighting game the whole family enjoys! The is also a lengthy single player campaign with a great storyline. I’m deducting two stars for the large amount of expensive DLC. Half the characters aren’t available unless you buy them for $7 each.

There is also a strong gatcha element for cosmetic and weapon upgrades.

A rather simple fighter without too much complexity. The addition of simple commands is a beautiful feature in this fighting game. It makes playing the game a bit easier while showcasing it’s intricate combos to pull off.

There’s a lot to learn in the practice options and those are pretty good. However, with a small starting roster of characters (which might be good for some people) is not something I’m used too anymore.

Still, if you enjoy fighting games, or want to jump into one, this game is a solid choice.

This is an excellent fighting game. The graphic art styles and sounds are up there with BlazBlue. While the gameplay is simple, it’s quite addicting and easy to pull off combos. This is another must have for anime fighting game for those who like BlazBlue and Under Night In-Birth.

With a tough start, Yoshi P. really revived this MMORPG with A Realm Reborn. I have played it since launch up until recently because life is just too busy to commit. It really is the best MMORPG I’ve played.

The gameplay is smooth and comfortable. Instance dungeons were a great way to go, especially with the queue system that allows you to go in solo, a partial party, or full. Story has always been a strong point of the Final Fantasy series, and this game is no exception.

It is captivating all the way through. Currently, I believe you can play up to the end of the Heavensward expansion (level 60 content) for free. This alone is impressive and really drives home their confidence that you’ll enjoy it enough to continue.

If you want to just try it out, there is no downside. You get a wonderful game that will take many many hours to get to the pay wall, as well as any friends you’ll make on the way.

Although this game started as a disaster it has been revived to one of the best in the Final Fantasy series. I have played through the entire game to the Endwalker expansion. Each expansion ties together adding important twists and turns.

The characters are unique and have interesting character development. As for the MMO side of the game, the players are welcoming and have a wonderful community. When you finish the main story there are tons of side quests, new jobs/classes, housing, crafting/gathering, and raids to try.

I recently started playing this game and I love it. The replay on this is amazing. You can play so many things one character. Some jobs build from others meaning you start as one and can progress to another once you reach a certain level.

If you decide you don’t like playing a caster, you can go to a trainer and pick up another job. You don’t lose anything you have done already but start a new character with new skills. Professions work the same way and you are not limited to one or two, you can have them all.

Graphics are great and people are super friendly.

I’m a big fan of the Final Fantasy series over time, but this game was a sweetly refreshing add-on. A more lighthearted take that embraces various characters, themes, and locations that have appeared throughout the series thus far.

It was delightful to see beloved characters pop up in the storyline. You can’t help but fall in love with main characters Lann, Reynn, and Tama in all of their aodrableness and goofiness. Definitely recommend! And now I need to go play again.

The product appeared in near mint condition, no visual finger print oils, crisp unopened pages, poster still attached, and ready for setting aside as a collectors item. The book is very useful as it defines a wholesome amount of extra tidbits that a gamer may have passed while journeying through the game itself.

My reason for near mint was due to a few bumps on the side that it may endured through traveling to get here, but it was well protected with a bubble wrap laced envelope that kept it from any and all other harm it could had.

Overall it is in excellent condition and I would highly recommend related products from its careful procurer.

Turn based and story mode makes the game relaxing and worth buying if you are planning to just stroll through it in your free time. Takes a really long time to finish the whole game. The music is really nice and the art is really cute.

The cons include the fact that there is not much to do in this game except choosing the abilities to fight. Mechanics are pretty basic, and the character’s actions are sometimes awkward. In short, if you are looking for something for children to play or just to relax, this game perfectly suits you.

If you are looking for some actions, you might want to try Final fantasy XV or some other games.

Fantastic game , lots of content, and very fun to play. The community is super nice and very eager to help new players. COST Right now the first month is free and I got my character very high level and made it through the whole first game and into the second expansion a decent way.

After that it’s $15/month. The only down side is the month cost to play but it’s understandable. You could play without spending any extra money (besides the monthly fee) and be perfectly fine because the game provides you with great armor, weapons, and other gear.

Anything you’d buy online with real money would be completely cosmetic except the “tales” you can buy which allows your character to level classes they want to level 70. If you’re like me then you constantly are making new characters in games because you change from wanting to play a spell caster to wanting to be a fighter or some other class.

Well with this game you can have your one character switch classes simply and switch back whenever you want. CLASSES My character has 12 different classes I switch between alot depending on my mood. The classes themselves level up,not the character.

So if you are level 30 with one class and then unlock another class , you’ll be level zero or whatever the game makes that class start out as. You have a decent amount of classes you can choose from when you first make your character.

Then there are many different classes (including crafter classes) that you unlock by completing specific quests in game. Some of the classes start at level 30 and some start at level 50 or 60. My goal when I started playing was to unlock red mage at level 50 and the after that I went and unlocked others.

I bounce between casting spells with red mage , to throwing weapons with Dancer, to swords fighting with samurai , and healing with my astrologist class. TLDR it costs a month cost after the first month to play.

Alot of content, great community , many classes to play. Great game.

With an expanded free trial which you can play through the entirety of A Realm Reborn and the award winning Heavensward expansion up to level 60 for free with no restrictions on playtime???!?? on a serious note, a realm reborn can be a bit (a lot) of a slog, but it picks up once you get to heavensward (granted that’s still like 100+ hours in for non cutscene skippers).

the early story feel very cliche and has issues with pacing imo, but it continues to build on itself and the payoff by the time you hit shadowbringer is amazing. also yes it’s fun to play all the classes, day trade on the market boards, and live out your anime bunny waifu dreams, etc, etc but it’s the story that really continues to live in my head rent-free, and I think it’s super cool what they did using an mmorpg as their medium [insert lady Gaga amazing incredible totally unique never been done before copypasya here] tl;dr the base game gets like 7/10, but as a whole with all the expansions (esp.

I am originally a World of Warcraft player and decided to make the switch back in June to a different MMO game because of the lack of content that was out at the time. I decided to give Final Fantasy XIV a try and I have honestly been having a blast for the few months I’ve been playing it.

The community is a lot more kinder and relaxed than any other MMOs I’ve played, and the storytelling in general is amazing. Square Enix does a really good job with their storytelling in this game. PvP isn’t amazing, but everything else is really good.

I highly suggest getting a trial to try out the game for yourself.

It’s just kinda good. Don’t get me wrong, the anime super moves are amazing, but the game is not technical and seems more toward beginner players. Plus certain characters can spam moves consistently.

If you like anime and are not a hard core fighting game enthusiast, this one is for you.

With close to 5 hours in this game, and a ton of memories brought back by music from past games, I can say this game is both fun and a good trip of nostalgia. The chibi characters are cute and the little sentences they make up before everything you play are cute as well, though they get repetitive quickly.

Series mode is the highlight and presents The games intro, a Battle theme, a field theme, and a major song from the game set to events from the game. Challenge mode is your quick play and score attack mode, picking and choosing from the songs played in Series, as well as the various DLC songs (there are several several more coming to the US).

Chaos shrine is well. rage worthy, to say the least with how hard it can be. A little time with the game and experience make this easier. All in all, if you are a fan of the series it is a sure thing to get, and if you are a fan of the series’ music, even better! Oh, and 3D is a part, but you arent here for graphics in a music based game, now are you?.

A number of people who already own Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and have pre-ordered this game, Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward – an expansion of A Realm Reborn – have complained about encountering numerous problems in redeeming the pre-order bonus code to gain early access to this game.

I, myself, pre-ordered the PC download collector’s edition of this game and had to immediately return it for a full refund because the pre-order bonus code I received and redeemed at Square Enix’s official website gave me the wrong registration code.

I received a Mac registration code instead of the Windows registration doe – even though I bought the Windows version of Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward. I already own the Windows and PS4 versions of its predecessor, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Support by the manufactuer constitutes a major portion of the overall quality of a game, especially for a MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) one like Final Fantasy XIV. Sadly, Square Enix, failed badly here for this game, at least for me.

This game has a great mixture of MMO and retaining final fantasy lore. The music is great, as every other final fantasy has been. I started an archer but can’t wait to play on my conjurer I made as well.

At first playing a mmo on contoller seem a little too much to handle but it seem to work fine after a couple of hours, if you don’t like controller you can play with mouse and keyboard.

Great first expansion to the highly popular Final Fantasy XIV. With new areas to explore and now having the ability to fly with mounts the expansion has been given a new and exciting feel to the game.

Already been playing it for 1 week and i am still leveling all my crafts and jobs, plus love seeing dragons in the game. Great way to spend the end of the day after work.
