20 Best Fan And Heater Combo (2023 Updated)

I have used this heat/fan/light unit since 1984. The first one was installed in a home that I eventually sold in 1986. The second one I owned was installed in 1986. That lasted 34 years. I maintained it regularly and replaced a couple of parts over the years (fan, heat element, thermal element).

So far, the unit has held up (as I would expect). It is perfect to help take the edge off those cool spring, fall and winter mornings. Plus, I have not had any mold or mildew issues. That was a result of good mildew resistant paint and proper ventilation with this fan unit.

Fairly easy install because was an exact match to what was there. One being replaced was 20 years old. Great suction for exhaust and nice warm heat also. New switch that identifies what to turn on. Supply house price was less than I could find locally.

Delivery was quick.

I have little technical/electrical skills but I replaced our bathroom unit from the 1960’s with this unit 11 years ago and it is still working perfectly. It is not a luxury item with a noiseless fan–it puts out some noise–but it heats my 8 x 10 bathroom, where caretakers bathe my 95 year old mom every day, very well.

If you use a 100 watt equivalent low energy bulb, you will light your entire bathroom. The nightlight feature is something I haven’t ever used for lack of a small bulb.

I had an old NuTone in a small bathroom, possibly from 70-80’s, that was starting to go bad, from a grinding fan to busted weld-joints. I wanted something that would match this thing’s blueprint as close as possible and didn’t require an exhaust vent.

Anyways, came across this and the cylinder-housing is an exact match to what I had, while the heater is a much better design from my original stove coil with a massive propeller blowing the heat. After install, which went smoother than I thought it would, I find that this model does not get as hot as the old one, which is a good thing.

It’s also much more effective at circulating and removing the humid air in my bathroom than the older model, and this is without using the exhaust. While the unit is loud, it’s nowhere near as loud as my older units.

While I would recommend this model to someone who needs to circulate humid air without the option for an exhaust, be prepared for some serious work if this is a new install in a finished room, as opposed to a replacement.

I used the inner workings of the unit to replace an existing heater/fan/light. The original fan combo was over 40 years old, but the model and the parts were the same. It allowed me to repair an old ceiling unit without tearing out the old housing and sheet rock.

The fan parts fit perfectly, and everything worked as they were supposed to. It’s amazing that Nutone still manufactures this unit. I would recommend this product to other contractors. I just wish that the big box stores would carry this line of heater/fan/light combo, it still is a great design!.

I had two of these Nutone 9093 Heater/Fan/Light/Nightlight units installed back in 1995. They both have been used often and they have proven themselves to be reliable. My 1995 units both have two flaws in my opinion.

The wall switches that came with the Nutone 9093 units failed and needed to be replaced after 15 years. The other flaw is that the thermo limiter sensor has burned out on both units after about 20 years of service.

Fortunately the replacement parts were readily available, and the units are very easy to remove (4 screws) and repair. I have been impressed with the motors and heating elements. I had expected them to burn up long ago, but they still work like brand new.

One installation note: These units did require their own dedicated 15 amp circuit. So unless you are able to run a new dedicated line to your ceiling these 9093 units might not be ideal as a replacement for say an existing exhaust fan unit.

I replaced my light bulbs with LED bulbs so the cover should not have to come off again for many more years.

MY VORNADO SOUNDS LIKE A TORNADO. I have had Vornado before and it seems I keep getting some bad batches. When I purchased my first heater it was great, then after a few months it just stopped working.

Then I just purchased a new one in 10/2021, this one had a bad stench coming from it. It smelt like a fish market. I returned it and did an exchange and received the last one. Unfortunately, this one had a very loud noise that you would here when the unit is turned on.

It was quiet on the first day then by the second day it was loud. I think I am done with Vornado.

Good-looking, quiet fan that stays cool to touch on the outside. The fan portion gently circulates air through the room. The problem is that there just isn’t that much heat circulated. Yes, the room is warmer, but sometimes I am shivering when the fan is just blowing cold air.

We have three Vornado fans we use in the summer that are great, but this heater just doesn’t cut it. After a month of use and with the weather getting colder, we purchased a different brand heater that was $30 cheaper and there is a huge boost to comfort using this other heater.

The airflow from this product is simply unacceptable. I can’t believe that there is no control to regulate the fan speed. It looks nice but I’m sitting three feet away from it and I’m still cold a half hour later.

Extremely disappointed with this purchase. This one time I thought I’d spend a little extra money on something that’s supposed to be nice, and I learned my lesson. All the cheap space heaters I bought in the past, at least they blew some warm air at you.

This fan is small which is nice if you don’t have a lot of room. The oscillating feature is nice as it rotates back and forth. It has 2 heat settings and a fan setting which are nice. I like the tip over protection switch which comes in handy with cats who knock things off of tables and counters.

The on off switch is easy to use. It also has an overheat protection sensor. The outside does not get hot which is a plus with small children. As far as heating up to 800 sq feet , unless right in front of it it only seems to hear maybe 10 feet around you.

A good little unit. Heats well and it oscillates – really perfect for under the desk )also a good place for it cuz it ain’t that pretty). My biggest issue wa really just the lack of instructions. It has an auto shut off device on the bottom so it goes off if unit tips.

Good feature, but not indicating that somewhere would have been nice since unit does not operate unless standing properly on flat surface.

This multifunction bath vent is the best thing since sliced bread! For various reasons, we had to scrap our plans for both radiant floor heating and a heated towel rack. This vent came to the rescue with every feature we could want: light, nightlight, vent fan, and yes, that coveted heater! Our electrician gave each feature its own wall switch for the utmost flexibility.

We love all the options, but I’m most pleased with the heater. I no longer dread stepping out of the shower on a cold morning.

I’M GIVING THIS PRODUCT A “ONE-STAR” RATING ONLY BECAUSE I CAN’T GIVE IT A “NO-STAR” RATING. I couldn’t be more disappointed in this Panasonic exhaust/heat unit. I am constantly renovating baths for clients and decided to give this product a try in one of my own baths.

While it does produce weak heat, the exhaust function is non-existent. A shower in that bathroom results in a wet room for at least 15 minutes following. I became suspicious when the contractor installing the unit pointed out that the flange to attach the duct was sized for only a 4″ duct, not 6″ as quoted in the description and specs, and there was no way to remove or adapt the flange to accomodate a 6″ line.

It’s been downhill from there, with a fan unit so anemic, you can’t feel it pulling. I will be removing it and replacing it with my standard specified extractor fan – an AirKing product. While that brand won’t include the heating component, at least it will remove the moisture.

Don’t even consider buying this, it’s a waste of money.

make sure that the frame is square and level before making the electrical connections. This fan was larger than the fan I was replacing so I had to enlarge the opening and add a 2×4 frame to hold the mounting.

The electrical wiring was tight so I had to add two junction boxes. I wired as much of the wiring on my work bench to make working off of my ladder easier. It took me about 8 hours to get it right. The fan is quite and has plenty of heat.

Lasko Fan and Heater Pluses: Excellent heat. Able to raise the temperature of a room 6 degrees in about 15 minutes. Takes up little floor space and you can move it around easily. Weighted very nicely so it is hard to tip over even when you push against it.

The filters are easy to clean so you don’t have to pay for replacements. The rotating feature works great so your heat is evenly distributed. It even has kind of an artful design. Negative: When you first use this, the heated plastic smell is noxious.

It diminishes as it is used and I hope it will go away completely. As a material, plastic has some advantages such as lightweight and durable but I would not make it this way near the heat to give off these smells.

Aside from this, it is a great product.

The pros, this looks great and works well. fan and heater so it’s dual purpose. has a remote. Easy to assemble base. The Cons, the display is BRIGHT, there is no way to dim it, so it was very annoying to my adult kids, it completely lit up their entire room at night (a 12×12), there was no getting away from the light and basically was shining directly in their eyes since it was facing the direction of their bed.

There isn’t a way to dim the display at all, and when you try to cover the light, you can’t use the remote feature. During the day it’s no big deal. I am saying I would recommend to others for other rooms, but not to be used in a bedroom unless they typically use an eye mask when sleeping.

The heater was used for maybe 10-15 minutes and then turned off because they couldn’t take the brightness. For us it can’t be used for the purpose it was intended and that is to replace their baseboard heater units that died.

In theory it’s a great idea of heat and cool fan for winter/summer use but used in a bedroom I think there will be issues. I have a window a/c unit that you can shut off the display light, that would be of great benefit on this unit; if it could have been dimmed considerably or even shut off for nighttime use, I would have kept the 2 I ordered.

Disappointed as it was a great unit otherwise. Returned both.

Cons: Poorly designed thermostat. Too sensitive to slight temperature changes. My other lasko heater with electronic control is preferable cos it switches on and completely off. This new one almost always does not switch off completely.

Either the ecomode is on full blast when temperature is at or below set value or low power mode when temperature is 1 F above set value. Mostly never completely off. And I don’t see how this does not affect power usage.

A new model should eliminate the power LED indicator light or have a function to reduce its intensity or a less aggressive colour be chosen. The red Led disturbs sleep except you tape it off Pros: Everyother thing.

I would not recommend. Would prefer the other models with electronic control only over this with electronic and automatic control.

I’ve had the fan for 3 days at the time of this review. I purchased it because my 2nd floor apartment does not heat or cool efficiently in the Kansas summers and winters. So far, I like it. It’s quiet.

Doesn’t take up much space. Matches with my decor. And keeps my small living and dining space cool. I haven’t used the heating element yet so no reviews on that quite yet. As mentioned in another review, the digital display face of the fan lights up the room at night so, that’s one thing to consider but that’s an easy fix, I suppose.

Love it. I wanted something to get me through the weird spring and fall weather where it goes from hot to cold in a matter of days, so I wouldn’t have to keep turning my heat and A/C on and off. It does just that.

The cool air is great and the warm air is perfect. The oscillation is the icing on the cake. Like many others have said, the cons are few but they exist. The lights on it are inexplicable. Why they would add this as a “feature” is beyond me; it looks like Martians are landing in your perfectly dark bedroom, which definitely disturbs a light sleeper such as myself.

My fix? I put several kid size band aids on the blue light strip AND I throw a small hand towel on the top part to try to mask the light as much as possible. Does the job but it blocks the remote from working, which isn’t a big deal for me because the remote was just a bonus.

I bought 2 of these to take the chill out of a couple rooms these fan/heater combo are very pleasant to look at the sleek and tall design. Very easy to assemble only took a few short minutes. I was a little disappointed at first operation of the units but I fully understand why it’s designed this way cold air is heavier than warm air so the heat shoots across the floor and then the heat rises if you are running the unit in the heater and fan mode the air will be cool from the fan at first but after the room warms up the warm air circulates through the fan making it super cozy.

it does put off a “hot plastic smell” but as with all new things I am hoping this will wear off after long use. It’s super a quiet machine and does a good job! It took out the chill in a 15×25 foot room in about 2 hours the fan air was circulating the warm air around the room.

The remote is nice as far as display but you literally have to be facing the unit and up close for it to respond but that’s not a deal breaker for me. The display is large enough to see from a distance and is great for middle aged to the elderly to see.

I’m happy with my purchase and glad I have them for our harsh winters. Trying out the fan by itself was nice seemed to move a lot of air as well. That will be a nice feature to use in the summer in our huge kitchen.

you can never have enough fans in the hot summers in conjunction with the AC! I feel the price was fair for the bells and whistles this unit comes with. Fan, heater, eco mode, large digital display and built in thermometer (which is highly accurate) plus a timer with remote control what more do you need.

1500 watts on high will not be that bad on the wallet this winter either! and it’s all packed in the sleek design that doesn’t take up much space. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a heater/fan to help take the chill out of a room.

But I wouldn’t buy it as a primary heat source unless you live in a tiny house. But for our needs this will do the trick.

We paid to have the unit installed, and two minutes into testing the heater function, it died because the internal fuse blew. Looking at the insides there is no visible defect or reason for the fuse to blow.

In the old days they used to sell things with reset-able circuit breakers. Not this unit. Home Essentials Direct sells a replacement, for $12. And it takes two weeks to ship. If the new fuse blows immediately again, this review is going down to a one star.

Very high quality product. Reliable, simple and durable. I expect this to last me another 10 years at least if not 20 with regular cleaning. Moderately easy to install too. When people talk about the “old days” when things were built to last, this is the kind of product they talk about.

My previous bath fan was this model when I bought the house and the electrical bearings in the fan itself burned out because of long usage and poor cleaning. The heater and motor was fine. I bought this, model 659, and replaced the old fan.

It fit the old housing perfectly because of the modular design. Runs well, it’s quieter and I’m very happy with it.

is undoubtedly an expensive machine like most Dyson products, but not much considering what it offers. At first glance, the sleek futuristic design of the device will throw you off. It’s an air purification system that combines three devices into one (purifier, humidifier, and fan), which I love because it takes up less space and reduces clutter.

Plus, I live in Arizona, so the air is pretty dry here all year round, and dust storms make it hard to breathe for my asthmatic butt. In addition, the air quality in my home is hampered by pollen and allergens from my pets.

The device came fully assembled, so the setup was pretty easy, and all I needed to do was add the filter to the bottom base, which clipped in pretty quickly. The impressive glass filter traps particles as small as the with of a hair strand.

The app effectively informs me of filter longevity and when it’s time to replace the filter. How frequently you use the machine will dictate how often you will have to replace the filter. I have the machine constantly running almost daily and have had to replace the filter every six months.

My favorite feature is the Dyson Link app which allows me to connect the machine to my home wifi. I can monitor my air quality over the day, even when I’m not at home, and keep an eye on trends over the weeks.

I can also get real-time information from the small front display of the machine. Another notable feature is that I can reverse the airflow direction, which is nice when guests don’t want it directed at them.

This air purifier is great for a small room of about 15×12 feet. However, its durability leaves much to be desired. don’t expect to take it from room to room. After just a year of taking it from the bedroom to the office across the hall once every few days, the plastic bits inside that allow the machine to oscillate have broken.

The machine no longer oscillates. Good thing I purchased the warranty. The “Hot” function performs more like a thermostat and there isnt really anything “hot” about the air coming from the machine. Instead of being able to directly contro the temperature of the air coming out of the machine, youre left with a thermostat for the “hot” mode.

Set it to 70º and the machine will turn off once that temperature is reached. When the temperature drops below 70º the machine will resume producing “warm” air. Thats exactly what you’ll get: warm air.

The machine isnt great at keeping you warm unless youre within a few feet of it. This is the case despite having a “narrow” fan function. As for cooling, the machine is actually great at this. It is not too noisy even at the “10” setting and can efficiently cool a room on a hot summer day.

Overall, don’t expect a $500 value from this Dyson product.

Although I live in Southern California, it can get cool at night. I needed a way to keep a baby’s nursery warm. After much research , I went with the HPO1. Not only does it warm up the nursery, it also replaced a ceiling fan.

My husband can not sleep with air flow and sworn he could not sleep in a room without a (truly ugly in my view) ceiling fan. This little gem turned out to be a perfect replacement. As a bonus it’s an air cleaner which means one less appliance in the room.

Now if only it would also humidify, it would be perfect! We’ve had it about 6 months. The only drawback is the rather large base.

I love the overhead heat lamps and have used them for years in many of my different bathrooms. This one is no exception and better quality than most. My contractor hooked right up to my old ceiling fan, pay attention to your ceiling joists.

Nice high end look. If you are not going to be tearing up your bath floor anytime soon to put in floor heating this is a heart warming alternative that puts out nice radiant heat when you hop out of the shower or bath.

Works well! One bulb came broken. Chatted online with Lowes. They sent me another one right away. Got two negative comments : The electric box is very very small considering you have to bring in 3 electric wires.

Secondly, the instructions are not written for retrofit. It does not mention if the frame goes under or above the drywall. I first installed it above the drywall since it seemed to make more sens then discovered I could not scew the bulbs after the cover is on.

So be careful, frame goes under drywall.

The Aero Pure fanlight so far is performing great. I would give it 5 stars, but the provided switched didn’t even last 24 hours. We purchased two Aero Pure fanlight combo and had them installed by licensed electrician.

The switches provided in the box are very flimsy. Either the heat lamp wold not turn off or you barely touched the switch and the fan would turn on. If you’re planing on purchasing this, invest in a separate switch and save yourself some time.

Since the new switches have been placed everything is performing great. A note to Aero Pure – please have someone else make your switches. The switched provided makes your product look bad.

I haven’t used this machine yet. I was so upset about spending over $400 for this and not getting any kind of receipt or shipping labels that I am thinking about sending it back. But then I would have to call customer service AGAIN!! to get a label to return it.

This makes about 6 items that I have gotten in the last 2 months where there is an issue with the return slips/labels and receipts. What is going on QVC?? I purchased the tall version of this air purifier several months ago and love it and wanted to try the heat/cool version so I don’t really want to return this.

QVC needs to do some training in their shipping department. What are they doing with the rest of the labels after they put the shipping label on the outside of the box? They are definately not putting them inside the box.

I remember thinking how odd the Dyson fan looked years ago. and then I bought one and now I could never buy another fan or vacuum that isn’t Dyson! I love this heater/fan! It doesn’t have the cool flames which I liked from Duraflame, but I feel I gained more from buying this.

The heater is so much quieter, it does a pretty good job of heating up my room rather quickly, I like the option of dispersing the air direction, I like being able to tilt it up, I like how easy it is to change the filter and the fact that it cleans the air, and I even like how I can add it to my echo show to control it with alexa if I want.

On tv it looked like the base was much bigger than the 02 fan but in reality it’s not really that much bigger. It’s definitely petite compared to the 02 fan and I thought I would be giving up on how much air would come out but no worries at all! It cools just as well as the bigger fan IMO.

And how lucky for me that it was available in white which is what I wanted to begin with. I had thought about holding off and buying the newer model that has the colorful display but honestly, this suits my needs just fine.

I received the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link for review, and have been using it every day ever since it was unboxed (about a month ago). I’m addicted to the fresh, clean air this purifier generates. A few issues our Dyson has rectified: – My home is filled with spicy odors on all floors, day and night, thanks to MIL’s cooking.

It’s delicious, but the flavours linger in the air for hours. I’ve feared that these scents have seeped into my clothing. Running the Hot+Cool Link on particularly odorous nights have cleared the air.

Simply opening all of our windows have not achieved this feat for us. – Air can feel stale in my bedroom from poor ventilation, especially when all the windows are shut, and central air is turned on.

I feel less boxed in/claustrophobic with the Dyson feeding purified air when we have no choice but switch the air conditioning/heating on throughout the seasons. – I’ve been hesitant to purchase a purifier, largely in the same way I’ve been hesitant to purchase bagged vacuums (if those still exist.

) I’ve always worried about not being able to purchase replacement filters without hassle, and being able to install one properly when I do buy one. With Dyson, there isn’t hassle. It’s all easy. This website has a store locator, which showed me exactly where to purchase filters (and I’m confident those filters will be available for years to come.

) Also, it is super simple to get into the casing to replace. As a bonus, the Dyson Link app tells you exactly when you need a new filter, so no guessing game is required. I’m SO very happy with our air purifier, and now shudder at the thought of home-life without one!.

As a vent, this thing works just as well as the rest of them. But I bought it for the heater and it ended up disappointing. I just wanted warm air to blow down, not even heat the room. Well the heater blows air that is barely above room temperature just a few inches away from the unit.

The heating unit is really tiny. It’s the 1 inch wide grill-looking thing in the photos if you’re curious. The worst part is, and this may be incredibly important depending on your use, *the heat blows at an angle away from the unit*.

In other words, do not expect to stand below the heater and get warm — you’ll have to stand about 2 feet away. I mitigated the problem by turning the plastic grill around since it is the grill that angles the heat (still scratching my head why it was designed this way), but even still the heat only blows out of the very edge of the unit.

Another problem is that the mounting arms are too long. I have 12” between joists. I don’t think this is uncommon. Luckily I was able to improvise. This probably only works best in a tiny bathroom and only if you can get this at a good price.

I just replaced a VERY old rusted bathroom heater/fan, going to guess it was at least 40 years old. That thing was pretty loud so this new Delta is quieter for sure. This Delta is not super quiet but I’m sure it won’t wake up anybody during the night, but compared to my old one it is a lot quieter and it has a “”””””””smooth”””””””” sound when the heater and fan is turned on.

The only thing I don’t like is the plastic vents in the sense that you cannot adjust the direction of the air flow. It is not a big deal and I still recommend this item. I purchased this heater/fan at the beginning of 2021 and my fan is still working as it should with zero problems.

For other people that got a “”””””””bad”””””””” fan well that’s kind of their fault because if a home owner and SPECIALLY an experienced electrician is supposed to test such devices before doing the actual connection up on the ceiling.

You never ever do a full installation before verifying the unit works. That’s just common sense. The manual actually tells you to do that as well. I like this fan and I still recommend it.

The install of the fan went smoothly. I was replacing an existing fan of the same size, and it went right into that space. The bit that confused me for a while was the mode switch. On the Humidity Sensor version, you’ve got three pairs of wires; 1) Light 2) Fan 3) Mode.

The Light circuit is simple enough, give it power, the light comes on. It is affected by nothing else. The Fan circuit, when energized, means that the fan will toggle between low and high speeds based on the humidity in the air.

Actually, it will run until the humidity falls below the set level, and then run at full-speed for an additional ten minutes. The Mode circuit tells the fan to run at full speed, regardless. This is useful for when you want to air out the bathroom, and I’ll just leave it at that. So to set this up the way they’d like requires three poles, which could be a three-pole switch, three individual switches, or a combination therein.

I didn’t want to use up all that space, or have tiny switches, so I wired the mode and light to the same switch, and the fan to its own switch. That when someone turns on the light (above the shower) the fan kicks into high speed, and continues to run after the shower, even with the light off, until the humidity is gone.

It took several readings of the instructions to think this might be an option, so hopefully someone else sees this and finds it helpful.

This is a very nice little space heater. It works well, and while oscillating, it definitely warms a section of a room. Easy to move around our home and use in different spaces. But, when we put it on carpet, it doesn’t work because it’s not stable enough.

This must be a safety feature, so that is good. We just put something hard down on the carpet first, then the tower heater on top of that, and it works just like usual.

This is a great heater. It really does warm up the room. I put it in my bedroom, and it will either oscillate, or you can press the button to make it just blow one way. To me, this is one of the best heaters out there.

I have had great experience with this kind of heater for years, and I don’t want any other heater. I have tried other ones, but this particular heater always is the best one that I go back to. I am planning to buy a few more, just to put up for spares.

This 2-in-1 tower heater and fan with remote is a great year round solution for all your temperature needs. It eliminates the need for a separate fan in the summer and space heater in the winter. Place the unit on a firm, level, flat surface and plug it in to a nearby outlet at least 1 foot away from the wall or furniture.

There is a manual power switch located on the bottom back of the tower that must be turned on before it will operate. Both the heater mode and fan mode have a low speed and a high speed. Select your desired temperature.

The temp. range is between 59 – 95 degrees Fahrenheit and is in 1 degree increments. You can choose to have the unit oscillate from side to side or keep it stationary. You can also program the unit on a timer anywhere between 1 to 12 hours.

The unit will automatically shut off after 12 hours of continuous use. It comes with a remote control that uses 1 CR2032 battery that is included, you just have to insert it in the remote. It stands 27.

25 inches high, weighs 10 pounds, and has a modern sleek design. It has a convenient handle built into the top of the back of the unit which also doubles as storage for the remote. It runs very quietly.

Very happy with this heater. Love the remote control. In fact, we are going to purchase another one for our lower den. Being seniors, we tend to get cold easily and this heater provides instant heat and comfort.

We had purchased two oil heaters and found them to be useless. They provide heat and comfort only if left on for quite some time. This heat is instant.

My daughter is enjoying her little fan. She uses it mostly in her bedroom and it’s easy to move to her small bathroom due to size. It heats up both rooms well. I would recommend and I would buy again.

I have an old Broan ceiling fan, heater, light in my bathroom which is basically identical to this product but older version. The heating function has been broken for a few years and the fan started making rattling noise.

With the recent great deal, I purchased this product. As all the parts and their dimensions are identical, I did not have to replace the outer metal box and I just replaced fan and heater module which was a walk-in-the park.

I am satisfied with the product as the rattling noise is gone and the heater is working again. However, I wish the exhaust fan noise level were lower. My old one’s heater module’s plug were melted down over the years.

The new one’s heater module wiring are thinner in lower quality which bothers me a bit. I may replace the heater module prong receptacle with higher quality.

Follow all directions and it’s very straightforward. The time to install can range from 1 hour to several depending on access in the ceiling above. I have an attic with easy access but it still took several hours as I did not want to cut away more drywall than necessary.

This made it harder to attach the ceiling joist clips but overall saved time in having to replace drywall. The wiring within the unit provides ample space to use wire twists for all three components if you so chose (so 9 wire twists in total).

You can reduce the number of wire twists if your fan and light are on the same switch, but all three of mine are separate. If possible to orient, the heating element is only on one side of the unit (which is common) so have that side face wherever you need heat the most.

This may require adjustment of the fan exhaust pipe.

Bought this to replace a 20 year old original bathroom fan/heater light that was no longer working. This was the most affordable option I could find with all three of those features. The size was a little smaller than the older original fan, but the installation was easy.

Fan and heater functioned perfectly, but this replacement is a bit louder than the older originals (it is pretty loud, but manageable for the price). I gave this product 3 stars because after a year the heater stopped working.

I found that the heater fan on these are prone to fail and then the heater element will blow the fuse because it gets to hot without the fan. I purchased a replacement fan motor and fuses (and wrote a reviews for both as well).

The replacement fan was built a little differently and seems to run a bit quieter. You get what you pay for, but still a decent fan for the price. So overall still satisfied with the fan and the original purchase.

I would rate this much higher. except that I bought it to keep my feet warmed when they were tucked under my desk. Hmm. The controls are on the bottom, dragging the floor and are hard to operated in that position.

Hey, I’m an old man and don;t bend too well. Probably great for a young and flexible person. But then again, the young and flexible person probably doesn’t need a shot of heat on their feet, either. When I pick the heater up the tip over switch does its job and cuts off the heater.

Yeah, I can imagine the life span of that switch, being forced to operate every time I want to operate the heater controller. I’ve had heaters where the tip-over switch doesn’t last a week, and that’s without being subjected to many cycles.

I love my little heater. Little and powerful! I am always chilly and hate all the drafts in my house. This little heater heats up my entire room and has it cozy warm all the time. It has 3 settings, so I can pick how high or low I want that heat to blow.

I also love the thermostat, so I do not have to keep adjusting it on my own. I set the temperature to my perfect happy place and it does all the work. This heater was the perfect solution. I will be very happy this winter.

I highly recommend this portable heater. My basement gets extremely cold and after turning the heater on, it heats up the room with in a half hour. My kids like to have friends over and we always turn the heater on an hour or two before they have company, so by the time they come to our house, the basement is fully heated and they can play with their video games or watch movies or practice for dance class.

I originally bought this for my bathroom to take the chill off. I have electric heat and there is no possible way in NY you can turn on electric heat and just let it run all day and all night in NY. So I have a Duraflame in the bedroom and living room and this in the bathroom.

Needless to say I have been freezing to death on the days and nights when the temperature really dips down. Today was one of those days. I took,this heater from the bathroom to help out with heating and WOW what a difference this little heater makes!! With the added power of this heater the temperature went up 14 degrees in no time.

Was so impressed I went and ordered another one for the bathroom. I know that these are not energy efficient by any means but they will sure as heck be much cheaper than electric heat turned on non stop for the next 3 months.

I have bought this heater 2 times now. The first time I purchased this heater it worked for about 4 months then completely stopped working. I thought maybe it was just a fluke, so I ordered a second one of the same brand and model.

Not even a month later and the heater no longer works. Will not buy this product again. Would not recommend.

Initially, I gave the heater a 5 star. It was perfect for what I needed. I share an office with someone who like it cooler than I do. This heater fit right under my desk and kept me warm. But less than 5 months later, it has stopped working.

Also, it’s almost $10 more now that when I purchased it. Will not be buying another.

I didn’t have high expectations for it being so small, but it proved me wrong. I have baseboard heat m with no forced air. And each baseboard is directly beneath a window (great design idea, right?), so needless to say I have to turn them ALLLL the way up to feel like there’s any warmth in the room.

So I went looking for a forced air heater to supplement. This little guy was within my price range so I figured I’d try it. Again. I didn’t have much by way of expectation. I have yet to turn my baseboard heat on in my 15×17 bedroom.

I actually had to turn this one down because it gets too warm. So I went and bought a second for my open concept kitchen, dining room and office, all of which share just 1 8 ft baseboard. And again, I turned the baseboard heater OFF.

Set this guy on 1 at half way, and again had to turn it down because after 4 hours when I went to check the room temperature, it was 81 degrees!!! I don’t know how long they’ll last, (have had the first one about a month and just bought the second yesterday) but I got the protection plan on each of them, so even if they quit, I’m covered on them.

Next payday I’m going to add one more for my very long hallway and laundry/mud room and that will eliminate 2 more baseboard heaters being used at full power. **side note ** With the first one I haven’t seen any significant spike in my electric bill which is a relief because the baseboards generally double it.

We shall see what 3 of them do!.

I use 5, but if I could have only 1 this would be it. I live in an RV full-time. My motorhome wasn’t designed for year round use, but I make it work. I insulated when I moved in. I use electric heat because it’s more convenient and less expensive than heating with propane.

I live in the foothills of northern Colorado with freezing temps nightly and below zero cold snaps yearly. The maximum amount of heat you will get from a 120volt electric space heater is ~ 5,000 BTU.

Different space heaters provide heat in different ways. In my home, I have 2 oil filled radiant space heaters, 2 coil and fan space heaters and now this new ceramic fan space heater. My oil filled heaters are great for maintaining the heat with the added benefit of being silent.

However, they take forever to heat up a cold space. Most of my heating is done by oil filled. I turn the heat down when not at home and when I sleep. When I need to warm things up, fan space heaters do the trick.

However, they all make noise. This is the first ceramic space heater I’ve owned. I always went for the cheaper coil heating type in the past, but experience taught me that they’d last me 2 years at most.

I’m entering my 6th winter in the motorhome. My oil filled heaters have given me 5 and 3 years. I was also hoping for a quieter fan. I can’t tell if it’s any quieter or louder, but this one seems to heat things up quicker comparing both units on all power levels.

Time will tell if it can give me more than 2 years. It feels solid and well built. I appreciate the small footprint of this heater. I am pleased with this purchase.

Small and compact, like that a lot. Just moved from an apt with carpet to one with a nice, but cool, wood laminate floor. Already, though its not “cold” outside yet, but cool, this little heater has made the floors comfortable.

I hate shoes at home, so my socks are it. Im comfortable. Im also confident that this heater will do the job with the wall unit blowing heat up, this guy will keep my feet warm. At night, itll be a extra helper in the bedroom where the heat is not as great.

Only drawback. its kind of noisy. But, the price is fantastic!!.
