20 Best Fake Tan For Men (2023 Updated)

K I rarely write reviews but from a self-tan enthusiast (who’s tried seriously everything) I Literally LOVE this stuff!! I bought the ultra dark mouse and ultra dark face serum this time (I’ve used the dark lotion in the past) and let me just tell you, the color!! Oh my goshhh seriously ladies it’s gorgeous! (I’m in the blue next to my dark skinned sisters and you’d never even know how pale I am- like are you kidding me?! So good.

) I wore it for my whole beach vacation- swam the whole week in the ocean, showered every day- it’s the end of the week and I’ve still got some color and it has faded sooo naturally! Boyfriend even commented how good this tan looked (and he’s seen alll the trial runs lol)! K and the Face serum!!! You guys- The face serum is now my holy grail- I’ve literally tried so many face tanners and they all break me out so bad.

I was hesitant at first but thought I’d give it one more go since the other reviews were good and not only is the color payout amazing but NO BREAKOUTS- all my acne prone skin girls- it’s so worth a try!! Can’t say enough good things about the face serum.

Anyway, if you haven’t tried this company out yet, DO IT.

Through my several years as a Tanceuticals customer, I’ve only ordered tanning lotions/mousses. I’ve also purchased a tanning mit and body buddy (which is a must-have). These products have always left me with a dark and natural looking tan, and the lotions and mousses smelly really nice.

I’ve never even thought about purchasing an exfoliator, tan extender or face tanner, so when I saw this offer, I thought I’d give it a shot. Wow, I must say that this ENTIRE kit is one of the best purchases I’ve made.

I followed the instructions, and used the exfoliator in the shower. The following day, I used my tanning mit and applied the ULTRA DARK tanning mouse. What a difference, with the mit, the mousse applied to my skin so smoothly and QUICKLY! It took me half the time applying than it usually does.

The next morning, I showered and my tan looked amazing. Throughout the day, I felt that I was even getting darker. I couple days later, I decided to use the tan extender, and I cannot express how great my tan looks.

Everyone in my spin class asked me where I got the tan and if I was using a tanning bed (which I have not, and will not). I cannot forget about the tanning face lotion. I was a little afraid to try, as I’ve broken out before with “regular body” tanners.

I used the “free” brush I received with this purchase, and the lotion applied very easily, with no “guiding” color (lotion is white). I woke up with a nice glow on my face and went to the gym without a foundation! (that’s a first) I give this kit a 5 out of 5.

You will not be disappointed.

I’m always optimistic about self-tanners because people who love the ones they use REALLY love what they use. But I never share in the hype after I try them—either the color is off for me or the smell isn’t tolerable.

but 100% of the time they also make me itch. Like bad, deep itching that leaves me with hives and bruises and super tender skin. So I almost didn’t even try this one because I just knew it’d be the same.

Y’all, this is the FIRST one ever that hasn’t made me itch!! I’m beside myself with excitement that I can rely on it in a pinch if need-be & know it won’t be a disaster for a week following a single use! Amazing.

I’m still not convinced I chose the right color or that it “settles” well on my skin, but I’m willing to toy with it and see how it goes. I have the flexibility to do that because it doesn’t bother my skin! Highly recommend this for that reason alone, but it also has a scent that—even if you don’t necessarily like it—doesn’t linger too long, and the color lasts for several days.

So happy I gave this a whirl!!.

7 months ago I had laser pigmentation removal which destroyed my skin barrier and now I have super sensitive skin and struggle with dermatitis. I can’t wear most of the old makeup and tan I use to wear without causing a flare up so I thought I’d give eco tan a go.

To my surprise it didn’t cause any irritation to my skin. The skin care products I use day and night are derived from essential oils and I’ve found if I mix them with tanning water the result isn’t as nice and sometimes comes out patchy.

I saw adds suggesting to use the face tan water as well as the super fruit hydrator and one drop of glory oil so I thought I’d give that a go as I felt my skin need that bit of extra hydration whilst tanning (my skin is super dehydrated since having the laser and my skin feels horrible if I miss a night of my skin care routine) and it left my face evenly tanned and feeling hydrated.

Super happy with all of the products that I even got the exfoliating scrub which I also love. I love the face tanning water but I do wish it came in a darker shade as I find I’m putting on 5x the recommended amount and I have to do this two nights in a row to achieve the colour I’m looking for.

So I saw this product on an instagram post and was sceptical that it actually worked. I had a major car accident and just couldn’t be bothered wearing make up (I never used to leave the house without it) and then I took a chance and purchased the face tan water.

I actually couldn’t live without this product now. I don’t wear make up anymore (except special occasions) and only use the face tan water. Safe to say I am so confident to leave the house wearing only this product.

I have a birth mark on my forehead, hence why I would always wear make up. Eco tan face tan water is an absolute blessing and makes my skin look amazing. I’m always getting comments about how natural it looks.

I have now ventured out and purchased a couple of more products from eco tan and will work up to getting the whole range. Sonya you have created the best product and should be so proud of yourself! Only down fall is they need a bigger bottle of the face tan water haha.

Hi guys, I just wanted to say that I received a really nice heart felt comment from someone about my skin. Ive had cystic acne when I was in high school and have always suffered from scarring to boil and painful acne on my face.

Ive been on very strong harsh medication to seeing a naturopath to try and clear it up. I was hesitant at first about this tanning lotion since this was the first product from this line, but after using the lotion on multiple different occasions throughout the year, I can honestly say this lotion is truly the best out there.

This product really does give you a nice yet subtle tan without the hassle of a mousse or tanning mitts. It does not leave you with an orange-y tint either which is what I was initially afraid of when first applying the product since so many other lotions on the market today end up turning you too “fake” looking and streaky, but i can honestly say this lotion does the opposite which is so REFRESHING to see.

My only complaint is the after smell: Initially the Sandalwood smell is pleasant when first applied onto the skin, but after a couple of days, I do notice that the tan starts smelling like your typical “tanning lotion” which I was hoping wouldn’t happen with this formula! That said, this could just be the way my body is reacting to the lotion as it seems like other reviews do not mention having the same issue with the smell as I do so probs dependent on the user at the end of the day.

Either way, the tan smell is not unbearable or too noticeable IMO, so I would say this product is a 10/10 for me and something I will always keep in my bathroom for year around use!.

lol like the title says the self tanning cream is AMAZING. I’ve been self tanning for about 10 years now so you can imagine I’ve tried them all – Loving Tan, St. Tropez, Bondi Sands, GloPro Tan, St. Moriz, Vita Liberata, professional spray tans, you name it.

Although I like the mousse for the fact that it’s an instant, extra dark bronze, nothing beats the lasting power of this lotion. I used to tan every Sunday night with my ultra dark mousse, shower the next morning as you should, and I would get a strong 2-3 days out of it before it started patching on my hands, inside arms, neck, and feet.

I cannot recommend this self tanning lotion enough – I’ve gone through about 6 bottles so far and always keep 3 on hand. It’s creamy, easy to blend, smells nice, and most importantly, gives you a good, buildable tan that lasts through everyday showers and baths for a good week.

I also really like that you don’t have to use a mitt, just make sure to wash your palms otherwise those will turn dark. The color it gives it very sun kissed, definitely more of a warm based tan but NOT ORANGE.

I am naturally a very, very pale, pink tone, usually a step up from the lightest generic foundation, so the first night I apply I don’t see a huge difference but you can tell my overall tone is a little darker and a lot more even.

The second application the following night is when the magic happens – this is when it matches my dark tanning mousse that I love. After using it two nights in a row I will switch to a regular lotion for a couple nights and then maybe use the self tanning cream one more time before I totally exfoliate my body and start over.

The packaging is to die for and the ingredients are incredible, it actually leaves your skin feels hydrated unlike my other mousse self tanners. The last thing I’m going to say is I just purchased the self tanning drops and have used those a couple of times on my face – love, and have been mixing them with the lotion to get a deeper bronze, again, LOVE.

I’ve only used that routine twice now and I am noticeably darker than when I just use the lotion, and I haven’t broken out from the drops yet either. I’m sure they will become just as much as a staple in my routine as the lotion.

My absolute favorite tanning product to date!!! Very hydrating, doesn’t smell bad, doesn’t have to be showered off the next day, no streaking or unevenness, very real looking, doesn’t stain the hands, doesn’t stain clothes or bedding, and incredibly easy and hassle free.

It offers great buildable color if you aren’t looking for an intense mouse type dark tan which might only be able to be achieved with that type of product but it is soo amazing, I don’t see myself ever going without this product and am so grateful to find such an easy to use tanner.

12 face product as other face tanners dried my skin out and this is the only one I have found that doesn’t do that so bonus for me on not having to wear foundation any longer. I paid for this product in full and have no affiliation with this brand and normally do not write reviews but its that good and I couldn’t not take the chance to hype it up in case someone is on the fence about buying it.

With my reviews I always try the product out thoroughly multiple times before giving an honest opinion. I bought (Dark). I been trying out self tanners for a while. Not a master at it but I know what I’m doing.

While the color is natural and not orange at all, it pretty much lasts for 2 -3 days tops. I did following directions the first application and tried a different way the second time. (I actually left it on overnight before my first shower each time.

) it is a tad sticky after application but most tanners I used have some sort of touch base with it (sticky, greasy, or long dry time) the application easy, drying time average length (15-30), it has a green tint when going on but looked bronzed after developing, never had streaks, comes off after second/third shower (sections) it’s not patchy but you can tell its washing off.

The smell for me is average, not horrible and not amazing but I smelt worse ones. (Smell is a huge thing for me) I would say if you need a quick tan that’s naturally bronzed for a special occasion this would be perfect for you.

For a long term maintenance tanner I’d say no, honestly I’d have to reapply every other day and as a single mom I can’t. That’s my review hope it’s helpful. Stay golden 😁.

This is hands down the worst tanning product I’ve ever used in my life. I used the entire bottle hoping that I’d find a way to nail the color, but no matter what I did, this stuff was awful. You can tell that it would be a nice color if it actually developed properly and it doesn’t have an awful smell which is nice, but it never dries after application, so when you shower in the morning 8-10 hours later, almost all of it comes right off.

I’ve tried with a mit and also with latex gloves, I’d say the gloves worked better, but it also didn’t spread evenly with the gloves and would get streaky. Woke up this morning with an entire streak down my leg with no tan on it, and it wasn’t a thin streak from sweat, it was a streak as wide as my hand down my entire leg.

there’s absolutely no way I missed that big of a chunk during application. Even though most of it comes off after your first shower, the rest takes forever to come off for whatever reason, making you look patchy and splotchy all over for days.

And it will still come off on your clothes DAYS later after multiple showers. Do not even try this. I’ll be trying out loving tan next. I prefer st. Tropez over this by far.

I bought this on a whim after seeing several adverts on Instagram, yet I’m SO impressed. I’m rubbish with fake tan and I even struggle with gradual tanners because my skin is so pale. My veins are very noticeable and a blue/green appearance and I find anything I use ALWAYS appears streaky no matter how hard I try to follow the instructions.

After just one application of this, my skin was glowing beautifully. The colour is amazing. Not orange or yellow. I just look like I’ve got the start of a tan. It soaks in instantly (I can’t bear that “sticky” feeling you can end up with) and my skin is so soft.

I managed to wash it off my palms easily so no tell-take signs there. I bought the light option and it suits me perfectly. I will definitely be buying this again as I love it.

I was a little nervous about using these drops, with it being such a new concept, I wondered how I would achieve an even coverage with such little product, but how wrong I was! Firstly the packaging looks and feels high=end.

the glass bottle looks great in my bathroom and one im not ashamed to leave out on the side! After a shower and applying light moisturiser I chose to use 3/4 drops, (without mixing into my moisturiser) This was just enough to cover my face and neck.

The feeling of the drops is so smooth, a very small amount goes a long way, they glided onto my skin and absorbed quickly without leaving a sticky residue. The consistency feels like an expensive serum.

I didn’t pick up on any development smell, and had no irritation or sense that I was wearing any fake tan. In the morning I had a lush subtle (but most definitely noticeable) glow. the coverage felt flawless and natural.

Im so impressed. I suffer from acne, but thankfully there was no reaction over the following couple of days. after using this product, so it looks like this one is here to stay! Thanks St Tropez.

I am someone with fair-light skin who has never used a self tanner before and honestly I was scared to in case it’s way too dark or splotchy/streaky. But the reviews for this product made it sound foolproof, so I wanted to enter the “self-tanning scene” with these drops to use primarily for my body.

I started with my legs and used 2 drops on each calf and two more on each thigh mixed in with my watermelon-scented lotion. After a few hours, I will say that I did notice a SUBTLE difference – the kind of difference you’d get if you were hanging out on a sunny day for a couple hours and you’re a paler person, not a burn or a dark tan, but just a little more color.

For me, this is totally fine. It brought my legs from ghostly to “I have been outside” levels of tan lol. However, if you’re looking for something more extreme and you’re already more medium-toned, maybe this wouldn’t be for you or you’d need to use more drops.

I had no issues with smell, transfer, or staining my hands/legs in any weird way, and no irritation. I’m definitely going to keep using and see how it layers over several days, since it seems very natural and buildable and hard to “mess up”.

Fantastic product. Lasts FOREVER and holds its quality. I bought my first bottle in 2018, used it many times, kept it refrigerated, and used it again just recently and the product was still perfect. I was shocked.

I was almost out when I decided to order more. Love Norvell. I wont buy anything else. Keep it refrigerated, thats the key to longevity if you dont tan regularly.

I have mixed reviews on this product. My husband is a red-head and extremely light skin. The coloring on him looks fantastic. However he takes 2 showers per day, because he goes to the gym daily, and this coloring only lasts 3 days on him.

I have used other tanning solutions on him previously and they lasted for about a week. So, the color looks good on him but I have to tan him 2 times per week. I am a brunette and tan easily. The color is very dark on me but also washes off too quickly.

The only reason why I would not recommend this product is it does not last long enough.

Wonderful bronze color with a bit of purple undertone. No orange-ish tones at all. Lasts at least 10 days on body. The best feature is that the color on my face is realistic and I have oily skin. Most solutions turn my face an odd color or wash of after a few days.

This lasts about a week and fades naturally. The salon I went to used this solution but at $25 a week, it was budget busting. We decided to buy a machine and try at home. Results are the same and the price on Ebay makes the monthly cost less than one trip to the salon.

This is officially one of my staple products. I use this on a regular basis and consistently get compliments! During the winter I get extremely pale and this just makes me look healthy and bronzed. It also makes my makeup application look flawless! During the summer it evens out my complexion out and maintains my natural tan.

I have definitely seen a difference in the way it is applied. I 10000% recommend applying it with a makeup brush (I have dedicated one just for this product) that way I get everything on my face evenly.

When I used to apply it with my hands, I would use up a lot more product and wouldn’t always get the result I wanted in one shot. I also recommend putting it on at night after you have showered to let it process overnight.

The smell is the only thing I do not like. It definitely has the “tan” smell that can be somewhat overwhelming. It is the most potent when applied and fades out over time. I had a hard time getting the lighting right on my face to show before/after pics but I put it on my hands to show the effect it has! I now also put it on them when I find my hands look too pale (lol).

I was nervous to try this stuff out and worried that it would make my face super dark and splotchy. But if you use cotton pad and apply a thin layer all over your face, neck, and chest, it comes out beautifully.

I usually apply it in the evenings and let it dry, then apply my other creams/serums. Once I wake in the morning, I have a nice glow! My only somewhat complaint about it, is that after a couple of days of it staying on my face, I’ve noticed it gives off a weird scent.

It’s not the worst tan smell, but it’s not the best either. Overall I will continue using whenever I need a quick, good-looking glow!.

Okay wow! Just got my first can of the instant tan in Med-Dark and the Smell is subtle and nicer than other products. Color is GREAT! And excuse me Balibody let’s talk about that LIGHTNING FAST SHIPPING! How did you get it to me so fast?! Application: I would highly recommend the brush to go with it, It keeps the intensity of the color.

A mitt blends it a little more sheer. You do need to work fast but it’s forgivable and easy to correct any mistakes. Water: It’s not necessarily designed to be a product for the pool but, I can tell you water alone does not remove the product.

You can for sure take a dip, get your legs wet no problem. Getting this off requires lots of soap and an exfoliator in my experience. This is not a negative from my POV. Transfer: there is a bit to be candid, it’s kind of expected – but after I’m done applying, I like to grab a paper towel and lightly tap off extra color to avoid any transfer.

I’m seeing a lot of negative reviews. In my opinion, people are being a little unrealistic. I’ve seen complaints about streaking. I am pale and I did not experience this. However, I used a tanning glove! A tanning glove is cheap and with this tanner it gives you a beautiful finish.

The smell is almost nonexistent for people that don’t like cheap tanner smells. The color on me isn’t orange. It’s a beautiful bronze. Which is tough to achieve with my pale skin. I am giving it a 4 only because you do have to be cautious when applying it.

There was residue on my tub and even on my rug from me walking on it too soon. Once again, it’s an instant tanner. It’s likely that it will get on things because it’s not a lotion. This is one of the best instant tanners I’ve tried.

So much so, that I’m going back to buy their mousse! Don’t let the extreme negative reviews deter you from trying this.

This was my first time ever trying self tan. I’ve always been extremely nervous about not making it even, not letting it sit long enough, not scrubbing it off correctly, and just looking absolutely ridiculous lol! But with the instant tan, all of those problems disappear.

The brush helps make the tan incredibly even, even if you don’t spray it on evenly at first. It dries in about a minute, so there’s no crazy wait time or need to scrub it off! It looks BEAUTIFUL and incredibly natural.

I got so many compliments after doing it for the first time ever. I will keep buying this forever. I took this photo right after doing one layer on one leg, because I was so excited about the results!!.

I have tried almost every lotion out there over the years thinking that someone will eventually get it all right in ONE bottle. To say I was crazy happy is a understatement! The first thing I noticed when I opened the tube was the smell, it took me back to sandy beaches and tropical drinks.

Smells like coconuts and sugar! I love that the lotion itself isn’t colored, as I applied it felt like silk and was a smooth application. I do like to use my finger to apply, no mitt, ( I use a nail brush to scrub my hands after applying) and the reason is that it gives me a sense of the real quality and texture, as well as the smell that usually makes me toss it quickly.

With this lotion, you will have no worries. It also didn’t stain my clothing, sheets, etc. NO orange glow with this, no one would never guess it was a sunless tanner. What I’ve noticed since using this everyday, and yes it sounds crazy, but it also has softened the wrinkling we all get on our neck.

I’m in my 40’s and don’t have a huge amount of wrinkles, but I hate the few I have on my neck, but this is a miracle in a bottle, so to speak. I will always leave a honest review , doesn’t matter if it is good OR bad.

As for myself I love everything about this🌴.

First of all, this is the cleanest formula I have ever found, the ingredients that they use are very safe, considering we are using this on our skin, our biggest organ! Secondly, I love that it looks so natural, not orange.

And it’s buildable, in case you want a deeper “tan”! Went on very easily with a mitt I use for self tanning. Make sure you always put regular lotion on your dry spots, like your ankles, feet, knees and elbows! This just keeps the tan looking more even and not darker in those areas.

It doesn’t stink like a lot of self tanners. My routine is to take my shower or bath, and once every week I will use this self tanner, and it does not take any more time then just putting on regular lotion.

It doesn’t get on my clothes or anything, it dries so quick! I sleep with white bedding as well and I have never had this self tanner come off on my bedding. Very fair price, especially for how much you get.

The value and benefit of nice glowy skin is unmatched! Otherwise, I am very pasty white personally. Really love this product and the company.

I always sunbaked and sizzled my body in my teens, 20s and early 30s. And for that I have suffered the consequences. I loved the idea of tanning but HATED what it did to my body and my skin. I resorted to using “tanning” lotions and was consistently disappointed with the results of them looking like streaks of orange all over me PLUS I hated using harsh chemicals.

I found invisible tan in an organic health shop and thought “what a great idea. It seems like a dream!” Well I gave it a go and have never looked back. That was many years ago now. I just love the way it sinks into the skins effortlessly and doesn’t streak or look orange.

AND it has no harsh chemicals! I get comments ALL the time about how I look like I’m glowing and what a beautiful tan I have. I am grateful for the comments and yet I smile inside because I know my little secret.

I bought this on the basis on the reviews, I normally research products but I was in a rush for a clean tan before holiday! It gave my skin a mild tan/glow. Very cream like to apply, I applied with a mitt as that’s what I’m used to but I don’t think you need to (may have affected outcome – not sure) I would say it does have a smell unlike some reviews that state its odourless.

For me the tan was very minimal and I think the recommendation is to apply a few times which seems a bit of a faff. I did exfoliate/shave 24/48 hours before application as recommended. I will persist to see of I can get better results, 3 stars for clean ingredients and no streaking!.

I ordered this a few weeks ago off the back of reading glowing reviews via an influencer on Instagram. I was excited to receive it and loved that there was a freebie in my package as well as a hand written note from the eco tan team.

That was lovely customer service. I’d prepped my skin and exfoliated as directed. My mistake here though was that I didn’t use a tanning mitt and ended up with badly stained hands. I did wash my hands directly afterwards but they were still terrible.

Two weeks later and my nails are still stained orange / yellow. A diluted bleach wash and tan remover hasn’t been able to remove it so I’m waiting for them to grow out. The tan itself I didn’t love. It was too orange for me and patchy in areas.

I will try again though and hope I have better luck next time!.

Very nice coverage; there is a mild biscuit smell that emanates from body after use but I personally think this is a pleasant side effect. I am a redhead with the classic pale skin but this worked well to give me a light brown tan.

Lasts as long as stated, if not a bit longer (if you don’t shower too often). After first use it was a bit dark and patchy in areas (particularly around toes) and highlighted rougher/dry patches of the skin in a dark brown hue.

I should add that this was possibly partly due to my initial hand application as it was the first time using a fake tan in my life, however, after a quick follow up shower; I did find this helped to blend it in better.

I have had no problems so far with the product staining clothes so can’t comment on that (probably because I like walking around in the nude aha). Regards the product; I love the size of the bottle, small enough to comfortably hold and fit in your bag whilst big enough to pack a fair amount of tan product in which should last for many light applications and/or several thick applications.

The nozzle could be a bit smaller maybe to allow for a lighter press with the finger to release tan lotion but overall I think it is a very well thought of, and very useful, organically predominant product.

I bought my first bottle of this self tan lotion feeling a little skeptical. I think that’s because I’ve been so used to the chemical ridden ‘cheaper’ ones and I said to myself it’s surely not going to work as good.

Well. I am glad I did buy it and try it because it is hands down one of the best tans I have ever tried! I love the consistency of the cream and the pump bottle but the only thing I’d suggest is that it would be nice to have an idea on when the lotion is nearly empty.

Bit hard to figure this out with the type of bottle it’s in but it’s not the end of the world. It smells much more pleasant compared to the chemical ridden ones. Still has a slight tan smell but not as strong.

Would I recommend this tan? Yes, yes, yes. If you’re trying to go more natural on your skin and like to tan, definitely give this a go! I loved it so much I bought my second bottle before my first one ran out.

I really liked this, it was very quick and easy to put on, so easy in fact I expected streaks or patches but the coverage was very even. I have pale skin and the product produced a healthy glow initially, with a second application next day giving more of a tanned look.

It has lasted quite well, no noticeable fading after 3-4 days. The smell that other reviewers have mentioned is only very slight, I didn’t find it especially pungent. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it.

I bought this product a week ago and have been hesitant on using it because the ads are intimidating and almost unreal. I have very fair and super sensitive skin, and I didnt know if it would be TOO dark or if Id be orange or if Id break out in a rash or bumps.

I finally gave it a shot yesterday and Im completely blown away at how great it works It actually looks like Ive been in Hawaii for a week. It applies so easily with the mit and you get a natural dark tan as soon as you apply it.

I did moisturize my body before I used it, as the instructions say, which made the application and blending it in much easier. It doesnt have that strong after tan smell. Its there, but its not terrible.

My roommate was even blown away at how natural and good it looks and asked about the smell. I stuck my arm out for her to judge for herself and she said, its very faint. It says to apply another layer after 30 minutes of the first one to get a darker tan, but mine was perfect so I didnt.

It gradually got darker as it sit, I showered maybe 5 hours after and it didnt wash off. I made sure to follow the instructions on the bottle through the entire process. Its only been a day, but my skin is fine, no rash or anything.

I posted a picture of my leg. From left to right is before BB, immediately after BB, and the next day. Dont forget to wash your mit I see a lot of people saying the mit is garbage, but it says on the packaging to wash it after use or it wont last as long.

Again, its only been a day since I used it, but I washed mine until the water was clear, so well see how long it lasts. I also bought the face tanner and dont think I used enough on my first application because I dont notice that much of a change, so Ill be applying more.

But again, easy application. Apply on a cotton ball and wet your face with it. Yes, I definitely recommend giving this product a shot for you to judge for yourself. Im not disappointed at all.

Ive been following Bali body for a long time now on Instagram and have always wanted to try the self tan mousse. All of the photos and reviews have shown stunning results and I have a harder time getting naturally as tan as I used to.

I picked this up and the initial application was definitely scary dark but I feel like it completely washed off when I showered the next morning. So a few days later I did two layers and left it on for 10 hours and that seemed to do the trick and got me super tan Its lasted a pretty long time Lovely color.

Definitely worth the money. Just think I need two coats from now on for my color preference. The only thing I would say is that I waited almost an hour and tried to go longer after the two coats to dry to put on clothes and go to bed but it never really felt Completely touchdry.

Ended up getting a lot of it on my clothes and felt a little wet and sticky when I went to sleep. Idk why it takes so long to dry but yeah its just a little frustrating since I want to leave it on over night and I wake up in the afternoon usually, so I gotta wait to start it around 2am and then after applying, wait over an hour for it to dry so I can sleep.

Thats the only thing overall its the best self tan Ive ever used It blends crazy well, and dries with no streaks even if it looks like There is when youre applying. Love Bali body.

Love this stuff! I mix with lotion to avoid streaks and I don’t use the mit that comes with it as it wastes product. I exfoliate my palms with apricot scrub immediately after application and I’ve never had stained hands.

Color looks natural. I’m medium dark and I use dark without the need to work my way up to dark.

This product, though probably meant for women, is also great for men. I like that suntanned look even in the winter and this product is not some orangey fake tan either. You will need to exfoliate well in the shower, and as a man, shave well before applying to your face.

The color may also tan your chest and leg hair a little, but I didn’t mind that at all. Wear a dark color on the first application and then shower about three hours later. I apply it at night before sleeping.

It can last up to a week if it is applied as directed. Just don’t wear white the first day and it is best to apply in the nude. Also, the price is great, unlike some of those over priced self tanning products with a French name and a 40 dollar price tag.

This is also a safer way to get a tanned look for light skinned guys like me.

This stuff is great. Finally I’ve found a decent self tanner. Some would only last one shower or day. Some would streak. Some would have an orange color. This one does none of that!! It’s easy to apply and has an amazing scent.

It’s sweet almond oil you smell and it’s absolutely heavenly. Application technique obviously has to be good or it could streak slightly, but that’s the case with any self tanner. This one by far is the most forgiving and best looking and lasts! Do not hesitate to try this one! I will be rebuying!.

First time using an accelerator on the sunbeds and really impressed. Perfect for me as I’m fair and take ages to get any colour. Definitely buy again.

This product is my go to subtle tan. Im dark skinned anyway so sometimes a deep or dark tan just looks too much on me Its not as in your face such as other tans on the market so its great if you want a natural look especially on your face.

I find using tanning mousse or instant tans too much when I use on my face Ive used this for years and it goes on so easy like a moisturiser. Its also white like a moisturiser Only thing is wash your hands straight after applying as itll leave residue and make your hands a dark colour over the space of a day.

Theres a slight tan smell but smells OK tbh. Its a gradual tan so will keep working throughout the day use daily to keep it topped up. One thing I have noticed is that if I use on my legs which are quite dry anyway, it doesnt keep them moisturised which is why Ive given 4 star.

All in all a great product from dove and Id highly recommend it.

Really happy with this dove medium to dark tanning moisturiser, goes on easily. I put mine on in the morning after a shower and noticed it was working by afternoon and by next Morning was even darker, so I’d give it 24 hours for full colour to be reached.

It doesn’t smell when you put it on but as the tan starts to develop it has a biscuit kind of smell, but the colour it’s given me out weighs the smell. I also have very sensitive skin but got no reaction from this, though I didn’t expect to as it’s dove.

So would definitely recommend this. Dove just need to work on the after smell.

I have never used a self tan or gradual tan before and at short notice I had a party to attend. Dove is the only shower gel and products I can use for my skin so I grabbed this from the shelf, so confused over too many products and promises on bottles I kept to my reliability of Dove! Super results, applied quick with a mit, 30 seconds on each leg (I was wearing a dress) and a quick rub on my arms and voila it started to develop in the hour.

No mess, no stains, no foul smell! SUPER.

I’m so happy with this product. I wanted a really good, natural deep golden tan before going away on holiday. I am naturally fair-med skinned (56 years old) and always use a fake tan through the summer, however usually just a more moderate tone.

I would not call myself an expert on using self-tanning products, despite having used lotion and mousse tanning products for years and years now. I did go instore before purchasing this, just to check with the ‘expert’ there, after doing quite a bit of research online.

This mousse produced a really gorgeous colour, and is very easy to apply using a mit. I loved the colour straight away, and I left it on about 3-4 hours before showering it off lightly and patting dry.

The colour is one of the best I’ve used, and has stayed on really well! There is no noticeable smell to the product, certainly nothing offensive or strong. I have used the Luna Bronze Glow Gradual Tanning Moisturiser already, and I do love this for an ‘every day’ type of product – good colour, nice smell, very moisturising.

But the mousse is very fast-acting, easy and a great, deep colour! I highly recommend it!.

Oh. My. Gosh! I’ve tried every self-tanning brand imaginable and nothing compares to Luna Bronze. I grew up in Texas and now live in Sydney, so having a beautiful tan had been the norm for years. Once I turned 30 I stopped caring so much about being tan because “natural is beautiful” and all that, but now I realise it’s just because I’ve been jaded by years of not-great self-tanning experiences (Jergens, Bondi Sands, or L’Oréal Sublime circa 2005 anyone?).

This all changed once I got my hands on Luna Bronze. If you’re reading this, do yourself a favour and hit “Buy Now”. It is SO easy to apply, smells awesome, doesn’t stain (I have a white couch and was afraid to chill on it the same day as applying the mousse, but that fear is gone now), and it makes you look like you were at the beach, not the tanning salon.

Just follow the instructions, use a mit, and get ready to glow. Most importantly? I’m back to feeling my best (who doesn’t sit up a little straighter and feel more confident with a tan?), have beautiful glowing skin, and know that I’m not putting anything nasty on me.

This stuff is amazing. I can say you will instantly look dark, the green base gives my reddish skin a beautiful golden tone. Don’t shave right before or you will get dark dots in your hair follicles.

But the next day should be fine. Be sure to continue to moisturize or it can fade relatively fast but that has everything to do with your skin type. Not the product. I have used a lot of different brands and this is the best and only one I use.

You should use a mattress Protector. I ruined my $5000 mattress because it has a material that is moisture wickening material which pulls the color from your skin. But this is the best. I wear it all night and shower in the morning.

Total darkness.

The colour it provides on my naturally fair skin (which tans easily to a golden brown in summer with little sunburn) is a really nice mid to deep brown and if the review was just based on colour I’d give it a 5.

I really can’t fault it. Not orangy at all. However you have to be quick with it because the colour sets in quickly and it’s easy to get uneven streaks on the skin. I think that the larger size of the mitt (one size fits all) didn’t help the control of the application either so may have something to do with that.

I left it on for the obligatory 6 hours before showering and the smell got a little strong although not unpleasant. The smell was still there after but not as strong. After I showered the colour was fantastic and for the first time in a very long time, I felt pretty good about myself.

Guess I’ll just have to practice the application as I’ve never used this product before. Will definately buy more when I run out.

I went in store to purchase my usual tan (the Elle effect mousse) but it was out of stock. I decided to buy this one but unfortunately it was a disappointing tan because I really wanted to love it. I’ve tanned for years with many different tanning products and I’ve never had an issue with tanning but this one just did not like my skin.

I’m light to med and the colour turned out very green/grey on my skin tone and was very streaky once it developed. The colour went on really nice when I applied it but I don’t know what happened once it developed it was extremely uneven.

The plus side of this tan was that it was very hydrating for a fake tan and no awful fake tan smell but unfortunately that’s the best I have to say about it in my experience. Maybe it would suit an already olive skin tone but definitely not for fairer skin tones.

This tan doesn’t stand up to the other tanning products Mecca sells and for the price point I don’t see anything special.
