I would have given it 5 stars but the hair that is cut goes to the ground and you will have to sweep it up. After reading the instructions and charging the needed 16 hours. I was ready to cut my hair, it says to run the machine up and down to cut, this does not work well, I found that you have to cut in a circular motion and turn it off to remove the hair that is inside the unit.

It does a nice job cutting hair, it comes with the charger, brush, clippers, oil for cutting blades, two cutting height attachments that you have to make sure the lock down button is not in lock mode to attach.

When charging the green light does not come on if fully charged, I had left on charger for over 20 hours and still the red charging light stayed on, so be aware of that. Light weight, hand did not get tired holding while cutting.

To get an even better cut, it is advised to have a 2nd person do the trimming of the back of your neck. I used my electric shaver to shave the back of my neck and that was fine for me.

Got this for Christmas. As a former service member I have learned the art of doing my own hair for as long as I can remember. This was a nice surprise till I tried it out. The charging time is ridiculous.

Not an even cut at all. Charge were out half way through. On the low settings it butchers your hair. Bald in some spots and no cut at all in others. Around the ears ? Ha ! No. Learn to use normal clippers.

I received a wahl hair clipper in a perfectly intact box. On opening and taking the item out of the package, i could see some broken bits. One of the teeth were missing from the comb and was not in packet.

The lever to move the blades was non existent, well it was, it was in 3 bits in the bottom of the bag. To top it all, the cutting guards were all bent, i saw this before even opening the packet they were in.

Overall i was really disappointed with this product, i spent ages looking up reviews and googling best hair trimmers (which this make came high up on the list). I have used the wahl hair clippers for years without a problem, but this has certainly put me off ever using them again.

The Hair Clipper is a high quality product and even though it is a consumer product it is way better than all those “one in all” trimmers in electronics stores. It feels sturdy and efficient, not too noisy (I personally find it nice) and handy.

The packaging describes that with the lowest adjustment the blades can cut at a minimum of 0. 8 mm (not very clear in the description suggesting the shortest cut at 0. 5mm; it obviously refers to the smallest comb).

It comes with 9 combs as rightfully described. The combs are not the highest quality though, as the plastic is slightly deformed in the highest length range (19, 22, 25mm) and in the 0. 5mm as well. I personally use the smaller range as the biggest are usually not very efficient.

I would suggest Wahl not to include the biggest in the set and privilege a better quality smaller combs. All in all it is the right clipper for an experienced self hairstylist.

This clipper does exactly what it should but it also catches your skin too often. The points of the blade are too pointed making it very difficult to use around the ears without catching. I didn’t have this issue with my last wahl clipper.

The Fade Pro Corded Clipper will not disappoint. I was excited because Wahl has a great reputation for grooming products. It is a brand that we use often in my household. Initially, I like the picture on front of product box and shape of clipper box set.

I find it as a good thing because it less you have to focus. It does a great job. I felt safe on the head and didn’t have to fear cutting anyone in process of hair. The end result was better than what expected.

It keeps your hair looking nice and don’t have to use as often except for normal hair growth back. I would recommend me this for women, men, and children. I would feel comfortable.

I like these clippers, they cut close and are easy to use. My old WAHL clippers were the color coded system and I feel these clippers cut better. I can’t recommend them though because after 45 minutes they get very hot.

I’m talking impossible to hold kind of hot. Luckily for me I can cut my hair just under that time frame. So if you share my situation then feel free to purchase but if you are someone who’s going to be cutting more than one persons hair I would look elsewhere.

Also the guards are cheap plastic that came warped and bent. I would invest in some metal ones. Goodluck!.

Works great, easy to use, that great Wahl quality. I’m still learning to cut a fade but I believe this tool will allow me to do so effectively once I perfect my craft. Note: the included carrying case feels cheap and will not last long, specifically, the plastic latch is probably going to break eventually.

I’m still giving 5 stars because Wahl make top-notch clippers and I don’t believe the poor case quality design should factor into the review of the clippers itself.

Tough to find a wall clipper that was not overpriced during the current pandemic. I am happy I chose this one. After watching a short video online, my wife (who has never cut hair) did a great job grooming me.

Easy to use, cord long enough not to be a bother, and different sized clipper attachments that dont feel too cheap. Great investment, will pay for itself with more cut.

These worked for about 4 haircuts. They worked well despite them being relatively inexpensive. Then while I was finally cutting the hair of my very brave, but very touch and sounds sensitive son, they got EXTREMELY LOUD.

They weren’t pulling hair and the blades looked correct. I turned them off and they came back on and sounded normal. This happened 3 times until he couldn’t handle it any longer. We hadn’t gotten far at all.

He was so upset and it was hard to salvage the haircut. I looked at it and I haven’t found any reason this would happen. They are not dirty and the blades are straight. This was very frustrating and set us back on progress we had made with his confidence when comes to haircuts.

I do not believe I can trust this brand again.

Though advertised as an attachment for the Peanut Clipper, it is too wide. It would fit a regular sized clipper, but not the Peanut. False advertising!

I’ve been using the consumer Wahl clippers for years. They are quite great but this Magic Clip is another league. Cuts through hair like a warm knife through butter and leaves the surface looking more natural than a flat clipper.

This one is staggered so it looks really nice and natural. No snagging the hair like weaker consumer ones do. My only regret is not buying one sooner!.

I’ve been using the cordless magic clips now for over a year and they are extremely light! Inventing a cordless clipper is amazing! They run for 90 minutes until you have to plug the cord in but you still are able to use them while charging! It did take a little getting use to not having to move your cord around your client, after 13 years of doing the motion of moving the cord, you feel silly catching yourself trying to reach for a cord that’s not there.

The stagger tooth blade cuts thin to thick coarse hair without any interruptions. However, when purchasing replaceable blades you have to make sure that you are buying the exact blade that states it’s for the cordless because I have noticed from my own experience to other stylists complaining their clippers aren’t the same and I’m positive it’s because it’s the blades if not ordered and bought from our local beauty stores are meant for other clippers as well in wahl!.

This is my first clipper , it’s really great. Comes off as a quality product , very sharp. My hair was starting to grow abit long , ( i usually cut it down to 1cm length at the hairdresser ) and i cut it from maybe 10cm down to half a centimeter with this when i got it.

Like i said it s really sharp but the engine do stall when you go to fast and the hair “clogs up” , but at the right “medium” speed it cut my hair like butter , when it was starting to grow abit long , and thick.

I was surprised at how heavy it was and that it vibrates quite abit. It also lacks a good case for storage , so far i’m just using the plastic package it came in and i also dont have a place for it in a cabinet , i just have it on a shelf and if it were to drop to the floor it would have no protection.

But i’ve read that one of wahl’s goals is to make affordable quality clippers and the clipper itself is affordable and its quality. So i guess they have cut cost from selling it without a quality case.

It also lacks a quality storage system for the plastic things to set the cutting length but i guess thats also to cut cost. So all in all i give this 5stars because it truly is an affordable quality clipper and i m sure i will use this for many years to come without any problems ! 🙂 Theyprobably could’ve charged twice as much for it and it still would be an acceptable price for the product But i’m probably gonna get myself one of these tiny “aluminium suitcases” for storage.

If i remember correctly i ordered on a saturday night and i think it shipped to Norway from the UK the last day , within 24 hours. Think it took about aweek to get it in the mail right before christmas.

It also is 220 volt and has a UK plug so i bought an adapter aswell to EU plug.

I bought this wahl hair cutter to replace another one I bought recently and used it for the first time today. It did a wonderful job and went through my hair really good. The only downside I had with it after using it for about 20 minutes it started to get hot, so you need to turn it off and let it cool down which is hard if your not done cutting your hair but I finished in time.

Comes with a complete set of hair length guards. Mine cost $42 including free shipping. Very pleased so far. I have cut my own hair twice. One more haircut and I will have recouped the money I would have spent at a barbershop.

The blade guards are plastic and might break with rough handling so I am careful about that but the set is well worth the money for what you get.

I believe you have 5 setting to choose from. What I really like is that the blades are self sharpening. I’ve had several other kits that were nice but over time, the blades did become dull after about a year.

This kit certainly seems to be higher quality than others in the same price range. For those that have not cut hair before, you can’t mess things up with this kit. The instructions are straightforward and the trimmer itself has each comb’s length as a quick guide.

Highly recommend for husbands and their kids. Could use on pets too but not going to use this one for our family pet.

I haven’t been to the barber shop ln years. I’ve been cutting my own hair for years now. I cut my friends, family, and my own kid’s hair. ( Not women hair). These clippers are decent for the price point.

“Zero” cuts very close and clean which I appreciate alot. The attachments are all colored so it’s very easy to switch. I will say, when I first opened the package and took it apart to clean and oil it.

During the first use it pulled my hairs. I feel like the pieces have to get worn in alittle because after the 3rd/4th time cutting hair, it didn’t do this anymore. My friend also got a kit and he had a very similar issue.

The only other complaint I could see is that the material the housing of the clipper is made of attracts the hair. Similar to a static kind of feel, the hairs stick to the clippers and it’s hard to brush them all off to keep it clean.

All in all, it is a great affordable kit. Although it feels lite weight and cheap, I feel like it I got my money’s worth.

I’ve used other haircutting machines with their accessories and I have to say, this kit was a home run. The clips to cut comes by color. Each color defines the length of cut. The machine has what each of the clips will cut down to.

I used it on myself and my two sons. The machine is very light weight making it way to maneuver. The levels in which the blade itself can be set to is amazing. This kit was a hit for the entire family!!! It has been permanently set in our master bathroom for the family’s use.

Clippers are good for the intended purpose. Mine came with the added feature of a cracked plastic piece where the blade connects to the body of the clipper. Didn’t affect the performance of the product.

i paid £12. 99 for this from argos and this is absolutely brilliant piece of kit the sizes are perfect the color coded system saves so much time looking for the right length even good for body grooming if you know what i mean.

Barber here! (been cutting for 5 years now and my first tool was a Wahl Designer) Wahl has the best entry level tools for any new Barber or someone wanting to cut their own hair. They dependably perform without the painful pulling, inconsistent power, or useless features of low quality clippers and trimmers.

That being said, I prefer the power of the Andis T-Outliner but for the value you can’t beat getting the Hero with this set. These machines need regular cleaning and oiling to operate at their best. I recommend sticking with the brand name oil (don’t try and use other types of lubricant it can mess with the blade sharpness).

Not winding the cord around the tool also helps keep the inner wiring from fraying prematurely- I use old plastic hollow rollers or Velcro straps to keep my cords tangle free. You won’t regret buying this and if for some reason it doesn’t perform it might be something as simple as oiling the blades.

I had a cheaper pair of Wahl clippers that lasted me about 10 years. They started to not cut as well, and researching clippers I decided to try a more expensive Wahl clipper. The clippers work great! They cut so well and glide right through your hair.

I will only purchase from Wahl or amazon. I dont like buying returned items. Clippers were shipped by a RedTagCamera who cleaned and reboxed this set. I could immediately tell opening the package these were returned.

When i removed the balde guard i was disgusted to see human hair.

I use an Andis Master and they fit perfectly. Easy to install and remove. I haven’t tried them on other models or brands. The only change that I could suggest is that each size was a different color.

That would make them more expensive but I would pay it. I labeled mine with a label maker but I don’t know how long the labels will last.

I haven’t used the combs yet because its winter and I will shave my dog in the spring. My concern is that the comb will fall off being that these are not for my exact model. However, they do fit. I bought these for just one size and the price was still worth it.

Having the other sizes will allow me to hopefully safely shave other areas.

I wanted to be able to use my Andis II OUTLINER for beard grooming, these fit perfectly. beard is groomed, not shaggy and uneven now without having buy new clippers or pay for a barber

Best price available on my purchase date. Excellent delivery with great tracking. I was a tiny bit annoyed as the listing indicated it was the last one available, and very shortly thereafter they had another listing up for the same 81T once again.

Apparently, they do this to generate a false sense of urgency to the potential buyer. Not a big deal, however. Compared to the folding 87T, the teeth area is actually smaller in width/length, which I found made it easier to use in tight areas and at odd angles.

I find it easier to use rather than the 87T since the rivet has become looser with use and requires lateral tension to prevent the folding blade of the 87T to remain open. Again, not a big deal. Both of the 2 Kent combs are spectacular and worth every penny.

Well almost, as some of the competition is trying to hawk the 81T for over ten dollars. Buy one without hesitation.

Great comb for parting, creating updo’s and giving a quick comb-through! I got this as an everyday comb to carry in my bag because I didn’t want the bulkiness of a brush. I have straight hair, so it’s ideal for quick touch ups on the go.

At home I use it for creating accurate parts in my hair. I wish it came in different colors; the black can sometimes get lost in the bottom of my bag.

I purchase these from salon centric. Always have them on hand. Basic large/small sides come. A must when cutting hair! Never disapowith these combs.

I was excited to try the Anti-Fade Joico line on my colored hair. This product does exactly what it says. makes your color more vibrant and your hair looks and feels fantastic. However, I have exceptionally sensitive skin and despite using a small amount, I developed hiving and redness on my neck and face where my hair touched my skin.

If your skin is sensitive, I wouldn’t use it. If it’s not, this product is wonderful!.

I love this oil/serum. It’s consistency is light. It doesn’t leave my hair looking greasy at all and it protects my color in the sun. It also makes my hair feel soft. I love it! Wish more people knew about this one.
