This is a Vitamin C its base is ascorbyl glucoside. Honestly the packaging looks so luxurious! It’s comes with three items a mask a spot serum and of course the actual Vitamin C in a glass clear tinted bottle which honestly is so pretty! I have used many vitamin C before but I think this will be my new favourite! It’s lightweight and absorb so well into the skin.

I had so many dark spots from acne caused by wearing masks all the time. Vitamin C serums normally dry my skin, but this one did not. It cleared most of my dark spots and I noticed my skin had an overall even tone.

I have brown south asian skin prone to hyperpigmentation and can recommend this to anyone struggling with dark spots. Furthermore it was not reactive with the other products I used in my skincare routine.

I’ve added vitamin C serum into my regular routine for the past 10 months or so. This is my 4th vitamin C serum that I’ve tried. I do love the brightening effect and am a fan of the formula! However, I did noticed that the vitamin C serum was a higher concentration than of other serums and it stung a bit when i first started using it every day.

I had to slowly get my skin used it to, starting every other day and eventually using it every day. Despite the fact that my skin was already used to vitamin C. I’d recommend slowing integrating this to your routine, especially if you’re never had a vitamin C serum in your skincare routine!.

It has been a while since I used Proactiv, so I was really curious to check out their new product in this voxbox. I haven’t used it a very long time, but definitely plan on giving a follow-up review.

So far, I like that the product goes on and actually seems to penetrate my skin. It makes me feel like it ACTUALLY might work. There is no sticky residue or anything in a minute or so. The smell isn’t wonderful, but that goes away pretty quickly too.

I follow up with my moisturizer and SPF. I like how soft it made my skin feel. I deal with texture issues and scarring so it was nice to touch my face and actually feel a difference. It is also a small size, which is perfect for throwing in a purse or travel bag.

You don’t need a lot of product, especially since you only apply it to trouble areas. I will follow-up with a review on my scarring in a few weeks.

I have been using this for a few weeks and am surprised to see that some of my scarring has definitely faded! Glad I was able to give this a try. I prefer to use it at night or when I’m not wearing makeup bc the texture is a little to thick to wear under foundation and can tend to collect.

I’m very familiar with the brand proactiv as I’ve been a long time user of it since my teenage years. This product is a great concept and I’ve been using it for around 3 weeks on my recent acne scars and hyperpigmentation.

I’ve only noticed a small improvement this far, but I also haven’t been using it consistently. The scent is something I don’t think I can get past. It’s just not very pleasant, I think if the scent is improved i would be way more enthused to use this product.

I think this is my favorite item from the acne skincare line! I am now 30 years old and have had major problems with my skin in recent years including cystic acne. I tried some products from popular brands like ***** Elephant, and Youth to the People but for me these products made my skin even more sensitive.

I even tried “high end” products from Nordstrom with no luck. I haven’t even been wearing make up the last couple years because my skin is constantly in a state of needing healing so badly, that makeup just made the uphill battle with my skin even harder.

I’m pretty sure I found out about Averr Aglow on an instagram ad, and was drawn to the fact that there are so many natural and purposeful ingredients. I also really don’t like traditional cleansers and soaps at all, and have tried other cleansing oils which again, I was always too sensitive too and they would cause even more breakouts and cystic issues (even one I tried that emulsifies in water).

The Averr Aglow Cleansing Nectar is absolutely amazing, and paired with the Hydration Dew is a genius combo! I’m also obsessed with the luminous complexion toner (literally my favorite toner I have ever tried- so gentle but so effective).

But, I would still have to say I live for this Clear Skin Elixir. I have never encountered a product that could noticeably improve my skin in the very first use. I use it as a spot treatment all the time during the day as well as all over the face at night.

Every night I fall accidently fall asleep before applying it, I wake up regretting it especially because the mornings after I use it my skin just looks happier, brighter, more hydrated, and a more even skin tone because I have issues with redness as well.

I even started easing back into wearing make up again because these products are healing my skin issues, AND their make up remover is pretty dang amazing too! I’ve been using these products for a month now, and I’m pretty confident at this point this is my new skin care routine, period.

The only things I still use currently from other brands are the acne healing dots by Peace Out Acne for my larger, deeper, stubborn cystic bumps at night and the Dermalogica Microfoliant to exfoliate about once a week.

The next Averr Aglow product I am going to try is their new lip kit! Coming out of winter in Colorado I SO NEED THAT!.

I ordered this 2 months ago and overall I have not seen any improvements on my skin. The first week my skin seemed plumper but I soon experienced a breakout. However since then, nothing. All the promised results are not there.

Plus the product is super sticky, even combined with hydrating cream, which is pretty uncomfortable. It has since turned yellow and the smell has gone off, that means if you don’t use the product in a month it goes weird?! So definitely not buying again.

This Serum is Amazing no word of lie! I am awaiting my 3rd bottle now. It really has done wonders to my skin. Ive not just noticed it but have received soo many compliments since using it! I apply it twice a day morning and night n it really is like a lil miracle in a bottle! Only downsize is the bottle is small! Otherwse i cant get enough of it #love.

Yes, it is still just early days. However, I would say their is a slight difference in the appearance of scaring and my complection is brighter and improved. I suffer form eczema and have sensitive skin so I was worried how my skin might react.

However I have not had any problems with this product.

Nice product, is working on my son’s bad acne he has had since 6th grade. Wish Keeva could make this product last for two months for the price. Is quite expensive. If you could make the jar 3 ounces (or what ever ounces to make it last for 2 month’s) for $30.

After washing with this face soap my skin feels really soft. I found it didn’t leave my skin feeling like a dried up orange peel like the face soap I normally use. I like that it has Vitamin C in it as I’ve used Vitamin C for a long time and know the awesome benefits.

I really look forward to continued use of this face soap to really see how my skin does with it. It’s pricier than my normal face soap but If I find it works in the long term, I will likely switch to this brand.

this face cleaner works very well on my sensitive skin, and doesn’t leave that dry irritated feeling that other cleaners do. it has an interesting smell, but you totally get used to that once you used it a few times.

I’ve been using this product for 2/3 weeks daily before I go to bed. I was left with really deep pitted scaring all over my cheeks after experiencing nodular cystic acne. The pitted scars now do not appear as deep and in fact look like they’re closing up.

It’s certainly minimised the appearance of how deep and wide they were previously and I’m hoping with continued use they will completely close. The texture of the product itself is so silky and leaves the skin feeling very smooth.

I was excited and hopeful to try Differin Resurfacing Acne Scar Gel. as an adult who has struggled with acne of varying degrees of severity for my entire life, I have my fair share of mild scarring. And I am happy to report that Differin is making a difference, but patience is definitely required.

After using it on my face and back, I feel like my scarring is fading compared to places I haven’t been applying it (for reference). Obviously I’ve given up ever getting rid of acne altogether, it is relatively mild, in this my fourth decade of life, and I can say that the Differin definitely isn’t causing breakouts.

It isn’t irritating on the skin, doesn’t have an odor, moisturizes, and absorbs well. For me, this alone is half the battle for better, clearer skin. I apply twice a day, morning and evening, and fortunately it doesn’t stain my clothing or pajamas, so it doesn’t slow down my routine.

It spreads easily, so it has lasted me quite a long time (longer than the size of the container suggests. ) This product requires diligent use, and a marathon mindset. it isn’t a magic, and you won’t see improvement overnight.

But results do come. Slowly, which can be hard, and frustrating. But I didn’t get my scars overnight, so apart from surgery, I don’t expect them to depart any quicker. I like how the Differin makes my skin feel, and I like how it’s fading acne scars that I’ve grown very tired of seeing.

I absolutely love this! Better than some of the high end products I have tried without success. Hormones have wrecked havoc on my skin causing acne, blackheads and texture. Also have mild redness in my cheeks.

This has completely been a game changer. Not only did it help my scars but it’s made the texture go away and pores have gotten smaller! Hormones had made them huge and not they’re not as bad anymore.

Also, I have been using this in the morning in place of my moisturizer and my makeup goes over it beautifully. This is a win win! Definitely a staple in my rotation.

This is my second time buying this glycolic acid peel from Skin Obsession. I’ve never had any issues or problems using it. I use it every 2-3 weeks and leave the acid on for 5 minutes (timed) and wash off with baking soda mixed with cool water.

Then I apply a thick layer of face lotion. The next day my skin feels very smooth. I find that it helps active acne dry up and fades old acne red spots. My skin complexion has definitely improved since I started using this product.

Also, the free microdermabrasion crystals they throw in with the purchase are amazing! Obviously this peel isn’t going to be as good as one you’d get from a professional – they put a numbing agent in the peel so its not painful and can be left on longer.

You’re not going to experience actually peeling of your skin from this product. But around here a chemical peel is about $300 so I’m going to stick with this cheaper option!.

I’m so glad Walmart carries this product. This is better than the other skin-peel products, and the only one that works. I highly recommend following the directions carefully and giving this a try.

I’ve been using skin obsessions glycolic for about 3 years now. It works! And it saves you HUNDREDS over salon pricing. Of course it’s an acid. Treat it as such. Make sure you have a neutralizer on hand.

Keep your face clean and moisturized after. But really, it’s a bit watery. But I don’t have an issue with it. The bottle lasts forever and I use cotton balls to apply wasting a lot of product. I’ve noticed it make Amy skin glow.

Reduces age and sunspots and fin lines. Over a my skin looks brighter and clearer.

My only experience with Benzoyl Peroxide was with Proactiv as a very young teen. I suffered from severe, inflammed acne and quickly saw great but consequently very stripping results within early use.

I’m 28, I don’t suffer with acne per say but have never had flawless skin (or at least clearish skin). Trying to balance large pores or the occasional pimple has always been a constant battle so I decided to try Benzyl Peroxide again- and I’m so glad I did!!! In between using Retinol and having ‘nights off’, I use this 3 times a week in the evening and have noticed great results.

My skin can handle its acids yet I found slight but not uncomfortable tingling after the first few uses. Stick to it because the sensation subsides a few uses after. Now my skin looks more smoother, even, less red and has definitely put the pimples at bay.

My pores are even smaller, something the 2% BHA hasn’t seemed to do. I recommend starting slow and adding a lot of pore friendly moisture to avoid irritation- you won’t regret it!.

Let me get straight to the point: This stuff WORKS! I never really suffered from acne. Throughout my teens and early 20’s I would get the occasional spot here and there, but as I got into my late 20’s my skin began to break out more frequently, especially close to my period, and this last year my skin was freaking out with tiny spots and bumps all over my jawline.

I’ve spend a ridiculous amount of money on different products, but nothing ever seemed to combat my hormonal acne. Well, not until I tried this! I’ve been using this every 2nd day for roughly 3 months combined with the Azelaic Acid booster (for cleansing I used a 0,5% salicylic acid cleanser from cosxr) and my skin has never looked or felt this good! My hormonal acne seems to have finally cleared and I haven’t had any severe flare ups in a long time.

I obviously still get a few break outs near the end of the month, but they’re much less severe, way more manageable and clear within a couple of days. Word of advice though, DO NOT use this twice a day even if it says you can.

While this is definitely good for sensitive skin as it’s very gentle on the skin, it’s still an exfoliant and you should be really careful not to over-exfoliate your skin. If you’re like me and have never used a BHA exfoliant like this, I definitely suggest to start slow.

Your skin needs to get used to chemical exfoliant, so be patient and slowly build up your tolerance to this problem so it won’t cause more problems than it solves. This exfoliant can cause skin purging.

It happened to me but this is perfectly normal and lasted about 4 weeks. It just means the product is working as it should! I used it once a week for two weeks, then twice for two weeks until I was comfortable enough to use it every second day.

I’m here to purchase the full size after buying the travel size to try out. I was desperate. I’ve used a complete skincare routine for years and my skin was in great shape. Clear and smooth. Then, menopause hit.

I only put 4 drops for my face and neck 3x a day. I have hormonal adult acne because of my pcos and stopped using birth control to control my acne due to my high risk history of cancer. So my face constantly get acne and i scar really easily.

This rosehip oil wont fix the hormonal acne but it will heal the acne faster and will vanish the scarring really fast or wont even leave a scar at all if you keep it moisturized by this oil. What i do is, i put 4 drops all over my face and neck and then a tiny bit extra on the acne spots/scars.

It is true, it gives your face an orange hue. But give it 10mins and it’ll be gone.

I purchased this oil after researching many different oils to use on my face. I have combination oily skin that is very sensitive with areas of discoloration, red spots, and some minimal scarring. Initially for about the first week of use I found my skin broke out more but after a full week of use the breakouts went away and my skin has been clearer than ever before! My first time using this I gave up after about 3 days but I decided to give it a full second try and I am so glad I did, I am now half-way through my second bottle!.

The smell was terrible for both the oil and exfoliate scrub. They both irritated my skin severally, by causing a burning sensation, and red after marks. I do not recommend these products for sensitive skin.

I am very disappointed in the quality of these products. I really love the mask, however it seems all of the other muddy products are not compatible with sensitive skin. In addition Muddy does not offer refunds, so this was a total waste of money on products I only used twice.

I have been dealing with moderate acne for a couple months and my biggest concern now is getting rid of the scars. I used the scars bundle and have noticed the immediate difference on my skin. It has made the scars slightly lighter, leaves my skin look tight and feel smooth.

Just be aware you might get a mild skin reaction when first using.

My skin has been breaking out lately and I was tired of trying out different products I purchased from the drug store that just weren’t helping my acne. I use this set and I also use the detox clay mask along with the toner.

Although it’s still early to comment on the scar reduction, I love how I feel with my new Banish regime. I’ve used the Banisher 2. 0 twice so far and it’s so mild. The pumpkin mask is so good. What I love the most is how mild/absent the scent is.

You actually feel clean after and doesn’t leave a slight reddish afterward like some exfoliators. The Banish oil is my bff every morning. It feels so smooth to apply and doesn’t leave an oily after feel that most ‘oils’ usually have.

For those extra dry days, the Vitamin C crème is right there. The fighter gel is queen! I apply it over active breakouts. Did you know it’s also excellent over kitty claw scars? I’ dab a bit over ever scratch mark I get to cool the wound off.

It’s hard getting something to treat the scars without breaking the bank. So if you want a slow but definite process, Banish is it. The aftercare responses are so quick too. That’s gold especially for someone as nervous as me.

I wanted to love this so badly. I spent months reviewing the products and saving up for the starter kit. The sad part was the pumpkin mask and fighter gel completely broke me out. I was unable to use the banisher because of all the acne on my face.

I continued with the products for about 2 weeks thinking maybe its just giving me a good clean of what’s under the skin – my face was the worst it has ever been. I had to go back to my old products to calm my face down.

I was looking for a dark spot corrector that actually worked as described but didn’t bust the bank – there are soooo many out there and so many are super expensive. I’m not going to lie, I was skeptical about Rosen Bright Citrus Serum when I saw the price.

But when I saw all the 5 star reviews for this, I thought “why not”? It’s not so expensive that if it didn’t work I was going to be crying, right? I mainly needed something to help fade out 2 specific dark spots – 1 on my upper right cheek and the other one over my upper lip.

The one over my upper lip is particularly bothersome because its oblong shaped and it looks like I have a deep winkle or crease there. I started using it and at first I wasn’t seeing any changes at all, but I kept at it.

I was using it alone as well as mixed in with my daily moisturizer. The “serum” fluidity lends itself perfectly for that – it can be a bit tacky to the touch when it’s used alone, but that’s minor. About half way through the bottle, I looked in the mirror one morning and BAM! I was so pleasantly surprised! They were all significantly fading – but seeing my lip spot fading was the best! I don’t have to pile on the concealer anymore.

I can literally use a swipe of my foundation powder and the spots are gone. I’m hopeful if I keep using it, they will disappear. I am very happy with this product and will continue to use it. I can see now why Rosen has gotten the 5 stars reviews.

Had to buy this due an intense acne breakout that left my chin area with serious hyperpigmentation scarring recently. This is very much like the Honest Resurfacing Serum. It smells the same, looks the same, has the same sting burn for the first 3 seconds before calming.

The difference is that this serum is much faster acting than the honest one. I tried the honest one last year for a hyperpigmentation on the side of my cheek and it took the whole bottle to even lighten a bit.

The rosen worked so much faster after one night. I’ll stick with this one for now on when I have any acne scarring issues.

This had me in the first half. After a month, it started to burn my face. It also oxidizes too fast. The formula is too unstable. My dark marks came back plus more discoloration. I tried contacting the creator of the line, no integrity.

I was sent on a wild goose chase. After getting in contact, she basically made my skin burning and peeling my fault. This person is selling a story, not a product. I could instantly tell this person doesn’t care about skincare.

This is only a fair warning.

I have been so stressed due to my stubborn acnes and their unwanted marks. Then my relative suggested me this product and i am so grateful to them that my skin is glowing once again all those stubborn marks are going away.

I purchased this kit 3 weeks ago. I’ve used the banisher 2. 0 and pumpkin enzyme mask 3 times now and am starting to see result with my scars. The mask made my skin feel smooth! I actually refrigerate the mask and it’s got a nice cool tingly feeling.

The banisher 2. 0 was easier than I thought and not painful at all! I try to use the banish oil as much as I can so almost everyday. I do like this oil but it doesn’t dry or absorb much. It may be the nature of the product but have a hard time using it in the morning before putting makeup on.

I plan to do another review once I finish up the products.

I like to wait and write a review if I really like something until the second bottle. I have so many half empty bottles of product in my cabinet where the product seemed to fizzle out and not work the same with my skin the first ten times.

This however – will always be in my cabinet. I apply at night and can feel it working instantly. I wake up and feel I have a new sleeve of skin on my face. Skin feels smooth and full in the morning ready to accept my morning routine.

I also did not experience any of the harsh drying some may experience using glycolic acid but I’ve been using it in some shape or form for awhile. My routine: this product at night with nothing else after that (easy!).

Morning -cleanser with exfoliating, micellar water, brightening cream, light moisturizer. That is it and I feel it is because of this great product. CONS:I think the packaging is wasteful. In this age of sustainability the company needs to figure out how to reduce their waste via better packaging.

Wasteful! The cap offers no use other then frustration the first time getting it off only for me to immediately throw it away a second later with the box it came in.

Alpha-H Liquid Gold is a thin, clear liquid treatment that I’ve lately been seeing touted as a best-seller for clear skin. Its formula uses 5% glycolic acid to help clear away buildups of old skin cells to reveal brighter skin and encourage cell renewal.

Liquid Gold is a low-ph formula, and also includes other skin-boosting ingredients, such as licorice extract which can reduce dark spots and regulate oil production. Silk proteins are meant to help protect skin and retain moisture.

I go back and forth between glycolic acid and lactic acid in terms of which works best for my skin. I can get an oily t-zone (especially in summer) but the rest of my skin tends to be drier, especially with every passing year.

Sometimes glycolic works better for my skin congestion, sometimes lactic does, and however hard I’ve tried I can’t seem to find a consistent pattern. Overall, glycolic gets the edge, though. I use The Ordinary 7% Glycolic Toner, and find that works well for me most of the time.

The % of acid is higher, and the cost is much lower than Alpha-H (240 ml (just over 8oz) for $8. 70, compared to 3. 38 fl oz $54. 00). The pH is lower on the Alpha-H (2. 8 – 3. 0, compared to The Ordinary’s 3.

5 – 3. 7). Using products with a pH closer to normal skin pH (roughly 4. 5 – 5. 5) means the product will be gentler on the skin and be less likely to disrupt the skin’s normal state. Mild disruptions can apparently actually be beneficial to skin because in equalizing itself the skin actually stimulates the production of certain good substances.

(But too big of a disruption can make skin dry or flaky, and take longer to recover. ) The lower pH on the Alpha-H product helps it penetrate more despite being a lower % of glycolic, and in fact Alpha-H even says the low pH in their formula forces the skin to work harder to reset itself.

From what I have felt on my own skin, these two products end up working about the same in terms of sweeping away dead skin cells. I didn’t notice much benefit from the other ingredients in the Alpha-H, although I have just started using it without applying a moisturizer (I found a suggestion online to use it every other night, and not to apply anything else on top).

I’ll keep up that routine for a few weeks, and then re-try the Alpha-H in the fall and winter to see how it compares in a different season. In the meantime, I would love to try the Liquid Gold Midnight Reboot Serum from Alpha-H, which combines a higher level of glycolic acid (14%) with granactive retinoid!.

This is a REALLY hot, popular product right now – and I feel so thrilled it was in this box! The first thing I want to mention is that this is some solid packaging. It’s double-lidded to avoid any leaks, but it also makes it really tough to access.

Just researching this product – it’s very strong in essence. It smells very highly of alcohol, and considering – denatured alcohol is its second ingredient. To sum it up – it is a VERY concentrated AHA product that is supposed to renew and revive the complexion.

As per the instructions, I applied it onto a cotton pad, then gently patted it around my face. I didn’t experience any adverse reactions or irritation (however, the packaging states that a mild tingling sensation is quite normal).

This product completely (and quickly) absorbed into my skin without leaving residue. There were no immediate noticeable effects; this is something that you need to be consistent with in order to see drastic results.

It is recommended that you use this every other night.
