20 Best Facial Wash For Acne (2023 Updated)

Finally found the perfect cleanser for my face and skin type. I’ve already noticed a huge difference in overall oil reduction, texture, and clogged pores, so I’m pleased. I have combo oily/dry skin on my face, so some areas over produce oil and some areas are drier than a desert.

But a couple of things I noticed about this cleanser is it works really well to unclog the oily areas and keep them moisturized a bit. After about 4 days, I did notice the salicylic acid starting to work and my face was flaking off, but that’s what it’s supposed to do.

So I added some Jergens Ultra Healing lotion to my routine and WOW it’s effective. The dry parts of my face are moist, the oily parts are moist but not oily. Would recommend.

Yikes. I adore Pacifica when it has come to perfumes and skin care in the past. However, after just a week of using this I noticed my skin having the most extreme breakout I’ve seen in a long time. Very concentrated, tiny pimples/whiteheads all over my face.

This saddens me a great deal because it smells lovely and was a relaxing and therapeutic part of my nightly routine with this new product this past week. I’ve seen some other reviews talking about what’s *in* this product and how stripping it is for your skin, I should have done my research first it seems.

I also see some reviews from those who have PSCOS/and/or cystic acne that claim this product benefited them greatly. Maybe this works for other skin types that need something strong like that! However, my approach using it every night and against my sensitive skin.

I love how this is cruelty free and amazing for sensitive skin. I recently became obsessed with the ” Yuka” app. I was breaking out so bad prior to using this brand with CeraVe. I thought that was a good brand but they had horrible ingredients bad for your health! I switched this this to help my , which I thought was hormonal acne, turns out it was the product I was using.

Used this product 100% by the recommended instructions. Followed all the test steps and everything a T. After I got vaccinated and stopped wearing my mask, my skin was the clearest it has ever been, except for blackheads on my nose.

He always uses it when he is in the shower and after the gym. He also likes traveling and wherever he goes and whatever the climate is, this facial foam still works well with his skin. His skin becomes smooth after using this product and his skin is fine with the salicylic acid in this product.

I am not worried about him using this product since it’s dermatologist tested, cruelty-free, and vegan friendly.

This was my go to for quite some time. The charcoal works so well to clear up any acne or pimples and to prevent them. It’s not harsh or over drying. My skin is on the sensitive side and can get dried out rally easily.

Okay, let me start by saying I rarely ever write reviews, cause who has time? With that being said. I NEED to write a review for this. I started struggling with acne after I had my daughter 5 years ago.

It started with the occasional pimple here and there, but in 2019 and most of 2020 so far, my face has been in PAIN! thanks to all the acne and cystic acne I was experiencing. I tried expensive washes like Kate Somerville and olehenriksen which you can find at Sephora for about 65 dollars or 40 dollars each.

They didn’t work, so I continued to try every wash I could get my hands on and that I was told would clear my acne. I even went to a dermatologist, it didn’t help. One day I happened to mention it to my co-worker because I was having a bad acne day, as I’m sure you’re all familiar with.

The ones that you can still see no matter how much makeup was on, and truthfully speaking the makeup looked horrible over those breakouts. Anyways, he mentioned when he was a teen he struggled with acne and used this wash.

I thought, no way! So I didn’t buy it. Til quarantine (2 months later) and I said hey whatever let’s try it, if it makes it worse at least I’m home. Well, I’ve been using it 3 weeks and my acne is GONE.

I have been using this wash for both my face and body for a little over a year now. I don’t generally have breakouts, but when I do I end up with blemishes everywhere from my face to my chest and back.

You definitely have to be aware of how it will react with your skin, because my face is slightly more on the sensitive side and I’ve noticed if I leave it on for a few minutes too long it will start to burn and leave my face red for some time afterwards.

So bottom line, if you use as directed and use it how it feels right on your skin it will become your best friend! I have a hard time finding cleansers because I don’t feel that they usually work as well as I want them to, but this one definitely does!.

I wish people would not say that this product needs to be taken off the shelf. Here is why: For the first two weeks of using this product I was freaked out. Like many other reviews my chin swelled up and was covered in a rash.

That was followed by severe dryness and flaky skin. I immediately read other reviews and saw that others had the same problem. I was freaked out and thought of immediately using a different brand HOWEVER I figured if it was strong enough to cause that reaction it must be strong enough to fight acne which I was desperate for.

I decided to stick with it a little longer and I am glad I did. Those symptoms only lasted a week or two then all that went away. I use this twice a day followed by nutrogena moisturizer. My skin is perfectly normal the only difference is, I have no acne.

I am 30 and I break out during ovulation. I have been using this product for over a month and its now starting to really show results. I am ovulating right now and I can not count even one pimple. (Who wants acne at age 30 right, I feel like a teenager again.

) I am glad I decided to stick with this product. Maybe if others do, some may have the same good results as me and have a little less self consciousness.

I started using this product last week because I noticed a few hormonal breakouts. I had a sample from a subscription so I thought why not give it a try? I only used it maybe 3 times at night and my face had broken out soooo bad from it.

I have combination skin because I have seborrhea and eczema. My skin is super dry in some parts and super oily in other parts but with both of those dermatitis’ it makes my skin pretty sensitive. I should have done some research before using this cleanser because now my skin looks like I just hit puberty.

My face has NEVER broken out this bad before and it seems like I just keep getting more and more cystic looking acne bumps as the day goes on. I definitely do not recommend this to anyone who has sensitive skin because my skin is also getting really dry, flaky, and itchy.

I have struggled with acne and oily skin my whole life, I’ve tried multiple products from multiple brands and I’ve had multiple bad experiences with quite a few products and this is definitely one of them – I’ve always heard amazing things about Murad and when I saw this I just had to grab it and I do love a few of their other products from other lines! This cleanser came in a acne set which also came with a mattifier SPF and a acne controlling lotion and the whole line for me was a no-no.

My skin became SUPER irritated while using these products. The cleanser burned my skin as soon as I started applying it, especially closer to my nose/eye area. The acne control product did nothing for my acne but left my skin red and sensitive and I have never been one to have sensitive skin.

The SPF went through the same path, I tried it for a few days to see if maybe it was just a bad first impression but it did the same for my skin and also made it sensitive to the point where it would hurt to wash it off.

I do believe it was bad luck sadly because like mention I’ve had Murad products that I’ve liked before but I wouldn’t recommend this line/product at all.

I love this product! I’m in my 50’s and still get hormonal pimples. I’ve been using this for years and it works without over drying. I bought the new large size with the pump to use in the shower. As other recent reviews have stated, the pump on the Value Size does not work properly whatsoever.

It is very disappointing to spend $50+ (with tax)on a product to find that when you go to use it, the size of a half of a pea comes out. I had to pump it 15 times just to get enough on the wash cloth.

Since it is new, there wasn’t other reviews when I bought it. The other sizes are awesome though, but avoid the large Value size. I do recommend the Murad Anti-Aging Acne Time Release Acne Cleanser for people with skin breakouts, though! The Murad Acne Control Clarifying Cleanser in the regular and mini size work great and are in a tube with no application problems.

This Cleanser leaves your face with a feeling that is very cool and invigorating, while helping to getting rid of unwanted oil, and it does wonders for helping bumps to disappear.

With that being said i also have moderate hormonal acne as well. I’ve tried everything to clear up my acne. From home remedies to scrubs to even hundreds of dollars paid from different face washes, NOTHING worked.

On a whim at my local grocery store, I tried the grapefruit one, and now it is my favorite. It adds a little kick that the original one did not. my face seems cleaner and my face was in better shape the first week after using the grapefruit cleanser compared to the original one.

This product may dry your skin out like many other reviewers have mentioned. This is most likely because many of the reviewers are following up with benzoil peroxide after washing with this. The salicylic acid and benzoil peroxide combination can be VERY drying and is most definitely not for everyone.

My dermatologist recommended this cleanser to me paired with Duac topical gel (contains benzoil peroxide) because of my oily skin. My skin can withstand being dried out a little. You have to experiment with the cleanser and find the perfect amount of product to use along with a daily moisturizer.

I personally use about a quarter pump. If you use this product correctly (i. e. NOT using it paired with benzoil peroxide if you have dry skin) it can be a very effective cleanser. I am deducting a star because there is a flaw with the bottle design.

By the time I am nearly out of the cleanser, it is very watery and is not the same consistency as an unopened bottle. I tend to throw the product out when it gets like this and grab a new bottle. Because of this, I never buy the value size because that would result in me throwing away more product.

I prefer to use Neutrogena Oil Free Face Wash as the second cleanser in double cleansing. Even though my face makeup (foundations, especially) are water-based, this Neutrogena product wasn’t effective for what I need in an end-of-day face cleanser…however, it’s perfect when placed second in a double cleansing routine.

The scent is medicinal, but not at all overpowering. I find the scent very complimentary with the just-right amount of bubble action that occurs when washing…and make me feel the work-in-action and the salicylic acid penetrating my epidermis as I gently circle over my face.

After, my skin feels like it was just deep cleaned without any harshness. My face looks firmed and toned and that’s like magic for my pores that are unclogged and breathing and ready for a sweet dreamy sleepy time like a flower closing after sunset.

The Neutrogena Oil-Free Face Wash definitely works wonders on my my sebum secretion with the immediate effect seen and felt with the great lessening of the super oil slick my face otherwise blots constantly.

Edit: By the way! I found out that the Biotin supplement I have been taking of 10,000mcg (to grow out my hair) was making my acne worse! In some individuals with dry, flaky, and textured skin, biotin can cause more severe break outs especially if you normally are prone to acne.

It’s because it helps you produce more keratin and those with textured/acne prone skin already produce more keratin on their skin than the normal person. Just in case anyone else has been going through a similar problem!I have sensitive DRY skin that also gets cystic acne and extremely extremely bumpy texture.

I have struggled my whole life to find anything that works for me (and doesn’t make it WORSE). I have been using Cerave’s SA wash and their hydrating wash for the last year and that did help with the texture issue somewhat and the hydrating wasn’t helped with dryness but not my cystic acne! I picked this up on a whim (and due to desperation to be honest).

After the FIRST wash my current acne’s swelling reduced immensely and the deep buried acne started to surface. After my second wash using this product, (Warning, TMI ahead) all of my acne started leaking, oozing and the swelling continued to decrease rapidly over a couple hours! My skin texture and acne is SO much better, my complexion is brighter, and I really cannot believe it! Yes my skin is a bit dry (since it’s already normally dry and this can be very drying with repeated use) however it isn’t “tight”, red nor burning and I do moisturize, if curious, I use Dickinsons rose water/witch hazel and clean and clear dual action (the only moisturizer combo I have found so far that doesn’t break me out, high end products included bc I am allergic to Many things but most specifically sunscreen/spf!) So it isn’t a problem.

The results I’m getting from the face wash are well worth the extra moisturizing and I will be using it as a sort of “spot treatment wash” for the next couple days. Wow I just can’t emphasize enough how much this has CURED my truly problematic skin.

This product is amazing! I 100% recommend it. I had a breakout out all over my forehead, and I was upset because it came out of nowhere. I believe it may have been hormonal related, stress related, or both.

I had whiteheads that were painful and I had bumps that were red. The acne medication I’ve used for years, which was prescribed by a dermatologist, shockingly didn’t work this time around. I’m assuming maybe my skin got used to it, so I had to switch things up because I was really desperate and starting to feel pretty insecure.

As I was researching for a new acne cream that I could buy ASAP, I found this Neutrogena product. I was hesitant because I wasn’t sure if it was actually going to work and I saw a few other reviews discussing how they had a bad reaction to the product.

I personally didn’t have a bad reaction at all and I have sensitive skin. I noticed very very quick results, like within hours. However, since I had a large breakout with very inflamed acne, it took about a week with consistent use of the product for my whiteheads to completely disappear and red bumps to flatten.

My skin feels so smooth now and I’m really happy and grateful that I came across this product. It’s a must use! The product exceeded my expectations and I’ll definitely be continuing to purchase it from now on.

I have combination skin by the way and I’d also like to note that it does have a drying effect simply because that’s what it’s supposed to do, so as long as you have a good moisturizer you’ll be good to go! 😊.

This facewash/mask definitely did it’s job! The only problem I had was it dried out my skin, so I had to stop using it. But in the beginning it was wonderful, and did wonders for my skin, cleared up my acne within the first 3 days! It did burn a little bit when I had it on, but I kind of liked it because it was almost like you could feel it working! The texture/consistency of the product was great, it was creamy and think, but not too thick.

I loved the fact that I could choose weather I wanted to use it as a facewash or to use it as a face mask! After I rinsed my face with water, I felt nice and refreshed, and you could see an instant improvement in my skin! I loved this facewash/facemask, except for the fact it dried my skin out after extensive use.

I have combination oily skin, but recently, I have had a lot of breakouts and blackheads. Pores have also seem to have expanded even though I follow a strict skincare routine and have always had relatively good skin.

I have always used a benzoyl peroxide wash to keep acne away, but realized 1) it still wasn’t cleaning my skin properly, because I would wipe my face with toner and still see a SUPER dirty cotton pad, and 2) it was not tackling any of the blackheads, so I would always resort to my good ole extractor to do the job.

I always use a salicylic acid treatment, but not a face wash, so decided to try this (along with some other ones to test). THIS ONE IS THE BEST. I used it once, did some light scrubbing in my T-zone area, let it sit on my face for about 20 seconds while I was rinsing my conditioner from my hair, and then rinse it off.

When I applied toner, I still had a little bit of dirty stuff on the cotton pad, but this cleared the majority of my pores and I did not see a blackhead in sight! Please remember that I have combo oily skin, so if you are more on the dry side, I would not recommend using this very often or let it sit on your skin like I do.

I’ve tried several cleanser along with trying out Curology for 4 months. It made my problems way worse than I’ve ever had them with acne. Back in December 21′ I decided to sign up and truly regret ever doing so.

Long story short, after months of using their products, my face had a lot of healing to do. Not only was I suffering from acne (I mean several new breakouts a day), I always was flaking really bad and my face would burn anytime I applied something to my face.

I did a lot of research and decided to give this one a try and mannnn am I really happy with my decision. I still get pimples, mostly around the time I start my period though, and have scarring that I’m still working on, but my face is so much more calmer, happier, I’m not so self-conscious anymore.

It really is helping. I have acne prone, combination skin and my face loves this cleanser. Scent is a tad-bit strong from tea tree oil, but my skin doesn’t seem bothered by it. BUY IT!.

I love this face wash!! I have been struggling with acne for so long and was trying various face washes over time that weren’t working or made it worse, but thankfully my mom found this one online! So we tried it for me, and it really has calmed my skin and helped my acne!!! I was also using the acne moisturizer from the same line for a while which was helpful too, but I eventually went to the dermatologist since my previous acne was scarring and she gave me a different medication.

Thankfully I can still continue the face wash though since I really think it helped my skin even without the acne moisturizer. I love and adore this product If you are like me and have some sort of combination acne like, cystic but also fungal but you don’t know what to do or have tried everything? This product is for you!! It took about five days of regular routine of this project as well as their other two (which I will mention) to clear my skin, this is perfect for sensitive skin like mine and combination skin as well.

I start off by using this cleanser, i foam it up a dime size amount in my hands and then I wash my face and under my chin/neck, I rinse off and repeat again just to really cleanse my skin. Then I dry my skin lightly and I go in with their step two toner, I take a cotton pad with a little amount and brush it all over my flared up areas.

After I use their step three benzol peroxide and lightly glaze some of the cream over my entire face(NOT EYES) This is just my nightly routine, in the morning I just wash my face with the cleanser or else it is too drying.

This product also lightened my acne scarring, please try this routine and keep up with it for at least a week and I promise there will be a difference in your skin. I also recommended their non-breakout dry sunscreen perfect for people who break out from oils! I hope you guys will find this helpful!.

I’ve seen overwhelmingly positive reviews of the Effaclar line and my experience was TERRIBLE so I wanted to share in case it helps someone else. I have acne prone, oily skin with hormonal acne here and there.

I had a few pimples around my jaw, so I thought I would give this a try. After a couple of weeks of trying this product (and the toner), my breakouts were 10x worse. I thought it could be purging because of the exfoliants so I continued using it for a month.

By this time my acne was out of control and in places I hadn’t broken out since high school (I’m 30 now). All around my eye brows, forehead, chin, jaws, you name it. Pimples were bloody and small bumps everywhere.

It started to really affect my self-esteem so I decided enough was enough. I stopped roughly a month ago and it got worse before it got better. I started using my normal cleanser again and waited it out.

The breakouts needed to go through a full regeneration cycle to get my skin back to how it was before. I can say I’m almost in the clear now after a month back on my original skin care routine and I warn you to be careful! Most of the negative reviews I’ve seen say that it burns a little but since there were none about really bad breakouts, I needed to share.

The La Roche-Posay Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser with Salicylic Acid is ok as it does cleanse my skin but it does not “help clear my acne breakouts or target excess oil” as advertised. I have been using it consistently for 6 months at the time this review was written and I haven’t noticed any changes at all with my skin (it is not getting better nor worse).

For reference, I have combination (oily t-zone and normal everywhere else), acne prone skin. Also, I do not like the packaging. You have to flip the bottle upside down before you flip the top and dispense it or it will dispense way too much product.

You also have to flip the bottle upside down before you close the top or it will leak outside of the cap. I have tried many face washes and with similar and different bottle types and never experienced this.

Due to the nuisance of the bottle and the fact that it hasn’t done anything for my skin but cleanse it, I will not repurchase and would not recommend.

For years and years I was searching for an acne lotion that wouldn’t leave my skin dry, red, flaky and itchy. Well I worked for a plastic surgeon for 3 years and he’s the one that actually mentioned Jan Marini products.

Long story short month after month I order the benzoyl peroxide acne treatment lotion 10% and it has done miracles to my skin. It’s smooth. It has a glow to it and my pores have shrunk where pictures come out.

ok i’m gonna start this off by saying everyone’s skin is different and there’s not a product that’s gonna work for everyone. personally my skin was bad but wasn’t anything extreme. mainly just “maskne” but i decided i’d give this a shot since no face wash ever really works for me.

usually worst case scenario the face wash simply doesn’t work. but this one made my skin at least 3x worse. i didn’t change a thing in my skin care routine. just this product. i thought “hm maybe i’ll stop using it and see if that’s what the problem is” and poof my skin started clearing up again and now it looks pretty good and all i do is wash it with a dab of shampoo.

i’m not bashing this product because a lot of the people reviewing it seem like it actually helped them but for myself it was awful and it’s really pricey too especially since it did absolutely nothing but made my acne worse.

I bought this product about a month ago. it was recommended by an Ulta employee when I went into the store to find a foundation to cover my blemishes. I am 26 years old and still get very painful red and ingrown acne around my chin.

Well here we are a month later, and my face has never been clearer. I’ve tried so many products in the past, expensive and cheap and none have worked like this one! Even my husband has commented on how much clearer my face looks! Will definitely keep on using!!.

I been using this for 1 week as I have acne cyst and my colleagues see great difference in my skin just after 3 days. First of all it really shrink all the acne and reduces the clog pores. It does dry the skin but I pair it with a awesome moisturiser that’s acne cyst friendly.

I don’t have breakouts anymore. It’s managed my current acne cyst and. Acne cyst scares really while. Can’t wait to see the improvements in my skin after 3 month. I actually repurchase a second bottle since I notice this runs out of stock easily online and in stores.

Out of the basic face washes marketed toward folks looking to combat acne offered by Neutrogena that (a) are Oil-Free and (b) contain Salicylic Acid, this Neutrogena Acne Proofing Gel Facial Cleanser with Salicylic Acid is hands down my favorite (over the original orange-colored Oil-Free Acne Wash and the Grapefruit scented Oil-Free Acne Wash).

Though at first glance they all contain the same active ingredient (2% Salicylic Acid), they contain different inactive ingredients which service as the mechanism for action and delivery. I believe this cleanser serves me longer throughout the day and on a long term level.

Likewise, it feels lighter on my face than the thicker orange and grapefruit formulas – and the lightness somehow feels cleaner, though it may be a little more drying. The drying is welcome considering I have oily skin.

I also suffer from Seborrheic Dermatitis, particularly of the scalp variety, and this shampoo can also be used as a substitute for the T/Sal shampoo as it has identical ingredients, albeit less 1% Salicylic Acid.

I should mention here, that there is another Salicylic Acid drugstore cleanser that I prefer over this one, that is slightly more expensive from another brand, that comes slightly high recommended from my dermatologist, but this cleanser is a close second.

As a skin “expert” this cleanser checks ALL the boxes: Paraben FREE, Sulfate FREE, Alcohol FREE, Ph Balanced, AND contains 2% BHA, Panthenol, Glycerin! This Cleanser is GREAT for ALL skin types: *Dry Skin- Panthenol & Glycerin (For the skin, panthenol helps improve elasticity, hydration, and lends a smooth appearance) * Oily/Acne Prone Skin- 2%Bha *Sensitive Skin- Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate (It is a gentle foaming agent used in sulphate-free cleansers for its moisturising properties) Sodium methyl cocoyl taurate functions as a surfactant in cleansers.

This ingredient is also used in baby products and cleansers for sensitive skin! Neutrogena really hit a home run with this cleanser but you must be aware of FAKES sold on AMAZON; ONLY BUY FROM YOUR LOCAL STORES OR FROM NEUTROGENA DIRECTLY!!!!.

I’ve been using the oil free acne wash from neutropenia (the orange one) for over a decade, and it’s the only thing that worked at preventing and drying up my acne. When the acne proofing gel came out I was intrigued because it also contains 2% salicylic acid, and I really wanted to know what the difference was between both products.

I found it on sale at target and bought it. I used it for about a month and a half before I finally stopped. Since being on this product, I experienced the worst acne of my life. I’m 25 now and never had serious acne issues.

I’d get an occasional zit and blackheads but never anything that lead to cystic acne and scarring. I woke up almost every day with a new cystic pimple. They were deep, painful, and resistant to healing.

I bought different face serums and moisturizers thinking that maybe those were the culprits then I finally figured out that my acne problem started when I started using this face wash. Nothing else changed in my regimen.

As soon as I stopped it and restarted the oil free acne wash, my acne has been clearing up and I haven’t been experiencing those persistent and painful cystic pimples that I had while using the acne proofing gel.

I didn’t think this product would break me out like that because it contains 2% salicylic acid. I guess there’s something else in the formulation that wasn’t working for me. I thought I’d share my experience for anyone interested.

Now I have to battle these acne scars.

To start I just wanna say that this has twice the salicylic acid more than other acne cleaners. If you don’t already use products salicylic acid then you should take it easy cause this will dry your skin out cause it’s two times more than regular cheaper products.

Now for my personal experience I am always looking for a new face cleanser that also fights acne. I want to have all the good products on my shelf lol. Anyways this stuff does an amazing job. I only have to wash my face once and at night and the next morning any redness and inflammation on the pimples is gone.

Even the deep knot like pimples are reduced or gone the next day with this face wash. It’s strong but it’s soo good. It’s got citric acid, coconut 🥥 acid, salicylic acid, menthol, witch hazel, Ginger root, and Frankincense.

This is the super hero acne killer!!! My face has been super clear for weeks! Not even a single blackhead!✨✨ It’s also important that you make sure to moisturize after using this!! Even if your used to higher percentages of salicylic this has other ingredients that did not come to play and will dry you even if your not sensitive skin or super oily person.

IF you have the above mentioned skin types, then this cleanser should work for you!! its a gel type cleanser, which is great because gel cleansers work best on oily & acne prone skin. (whereas cream cleansers work better on dry skin).

If I’m not mistaken, this cleanser is NOT intended to remove makeup. but I do it anyways lol. BUT because the primary intention for this cleanser isnt to remove makeup, it wont do the best job in removing your makeup.

but what I like to do is use it in the shower, so the steam can help mix with the cleanser and get all the makeup out. Please keep in mind that it takes lot of time to improve acne and scars!! So far, I used 3 of these bottles.

I LOVE it. ive tried so many other cleansers over the years but i keep coming back to this one. It has 1. 5% of salicylic acid. it doesnt have a particular fragrance or anything, but that’s not a big deal to me.

I hope they never discontinue this product. I friggen love it. LOVE U KIEHLS < 3 jk this is the only product I really love from them lol.

Not for me! I don’t like the fact that their is menthol in this product. I feel that menthol in a product for inflamed acne prone skin would just be more irritating. I don’t even have that type of skin, but it still made my face feel tingly.

Too harsh for my skin. If you like that clean tightening feeling then you might enjoy this, but I prefer soothing products that still make my skin feel clean. I would not recommend for sensitive or redness prone skin AT ALL.

But if you have normal skin with a few flare ups from time to time, you might like this. In my opinion there are many affordable brands that are of better quality less harsh ingredients. Not too mention the packaging for Kiehl’s products are typically not high quality, and this is no exception.

This is a very gentle formula that safely cleans, drys, and removes blemishes, blackheads, and whiteheads. It also helps to prevent new blemishes from forming. It foams nicely and is way to apply and wash off.

It is a drying formula so I wouldn’t over use it, but it is a very effective product and I can see amazing results on my daughters face after only using it for about 2 weeks. My daughter has sensitive skin and this formula does not irritate her or cause her any redness.

It is basically scent free. I would say the only smell it has is the natural lotion smell. I would buy this again and I definitely recommend this for acne prone skin. Please follow me for more great reviews.

I have used Glytone self foaming cleanser for several years now as recommended by my dermatologist. The product worked great. The foaming was significant enough to shave with. The product was unavailable for a period of time and has recently become available again.

I quickly purchase 4 new bottles. The new product is a different color and no longer foams. I called Glytone and was informed that the formula has changed. I expressed my disappointment with the new product that doesn’t foam as advertised.
