20 Best Facial Cleanser For Anti Aging (2023 Updated)

This cleanser has to be one of the best cleansers(if not THE best) I have ever tried. Beautiful lather, cleans well, doesn’t strip my skin, and seems to lessen the redness in my skin. I’ve tried so many cleaners and a lot of them leave me skin looking so red, hot, and irritated, but this one does the opposite.

My skin feels so clean, fresh, and calm. One thing I will say is that while using this you may need to use an exfoliant maybe once a week or once every two weeks, since this cleanser is gentle and doesn’t really contain any exfoliating ingredients like citric acid etc.

But to be honest I think that’s why my skin likes it, because my skin doesn’t need an exfoliating ingredient every day. All in all, has become my absolute favorite. Please never stop making this one.

Cleanser is satisfyingly creamy & cushiony & rinses 100% clean yet leaving skin not at all tight; from this point of view, I liked it very much. Now for the points that would make me hesitate to buy it again – the cleanser is quite thick, foams quite a bit, & the pump doses out too much in one go.

This means I was wasting cleanser each time because I simply could not use the entire pump-dosed amount in one go; too much foam! So I transferred it to a soft-squeeze plastic bottle with a flip-top cap, to be able to control the amount dispensed i.

e. only a tiny-pea-sized amount since that is sufficient to cleanse my whole face. BUT, since the stuff is so viscous, there is now about 1/5th still left in the bottle, sticking to the sides, which refuses to pump out or even flow downward when I invert the bottle.

Hence I will need to add water to make it thinner to be able to use it! Could Paula’s Choice make this formula slightly less viscous, put it in a translucent soft-squeeze plastic bottle with a flip-top cap (so it’s also protected from any shower water), & thus use less HDPE in the packaging as well ?.

I love this cleanser it feel so lush and comforting to the skin. It’s Paula’s Choice so you’re getting high class ingredients. It feels as though it’s restoring your skin as you’re cleansing but thoroughly cleans it at the same time.

I can only use gentle cleansers because of my sensitive rosacea skin. I had been using the Fresh Soy cleanser for the past 2 years, but I noticed recently that it left my forehead feeling tight. So, I wanted to try something else, and my research led me to the Farmacy Clean Bee! Positives: not only is this labeled a gentle cleanser, but it is also targeted for dry skin types, like myself! While i still feel like I definitely need to follow up with moisturizer, it does leave my skin feeling refreshed and clean.

Added bonus, this cleanser comes with a pump! I prefer to cleanse in the shower, so this makes it so easy. The ONLY slight negative i have noticed, is that i sometimes feel like i have to really rinse it off well.

The lather is nice, don’t get me wrong. It doesn’t foam up super crazy, just enough. But one time when i rinsed my face and went to dry it, i still had some lather under my chin and on my neck. No one else has mentioned this though, so this could be an error i am making, because i did use more product that one time.

While this isn’t a negative for me personally, it is worth noting that if you are sensitive to smells, I would stop at Sephora and smell a tester in person before you buy. It isn’t added fragrance, it is natural, but it can be quite strong.

Personally i think this smells better than the Fresh Soy cleanser. Overall, this is a nice cleanser, and will definitely be part of my cleansing rotation. I have had this less than a week, so unless this starts to break me out, i will definitely repurchase this!.

I am slowly making the shift to green beauty products and I absolutely LOVE this cleanser. Often times, facial washes make my skin dry and tight, but this one leaves my skin feeling soft and supple and ready for a layer of moisturizer.

I am on my 3rd bottle now since 2019 and I maybe buy this product twice a year – a little goes a long way! I use less than half a pump. When I first started using this product, I had to adjust to it.

Something about it would make my eyes very sensitive, and sting slightly – an interesting effervescence, not unlike what a minty cleanser might do. except this isn’t minty. Hard to explain. I have since adjusted to that, and otherwise have had no sensitivities to this product.

The smell is mild and earthy with notes of honey. It’s become a staple in my beauty routine and I love it!.

I love this facial cleanser. I use it daily after the cleansing balm & it’s amazing. At first it did sting my skin a little, but my skin always reacts that way with new products like this. I also love how long a single bottle will last me.

I purchased this bottle last year & I still have enough to last me month. I use one pump daily which I put in my wet hand before applying to my face. I don’t find that it has a specific smell, but maybe that’s because I’m used to it.

I will definitely be purchasing another bottle once I finish mine! Awesome product, really underrated in this line.

My favorite cleanser! I’ve been using it for years now. I recently read reviews about the new cap being a pain so I kept my old cap from the previous version luckily and it fit. I agree the old cap is much better.

Product still works great and smells good. Pretty packaging also :).

Love this product! Lathers well & leaves my face feeling bare, fresh and clean & the perfect texture. Not overly drying. My order arrived early too. Smell is not overbearing but fresh and clean. I have redness – prone skin & it is calming and balancing.

I love this product but the packaging needs to go. The package is pretty but it’s hard to get the product out of the bottle. It is very frustrating trying to get the cleanser out when you are down to the last 1/3.

Please change the package to something else. I do not have this problem with other Image squeeze bottle products (ie sunscreen or masks).

I hate to give Naturium a bad review, but this cleanser has sharp shards of hard rice(?) in what would otherwise be an amazing cleanser texture. Such a shock – maybe it’s a bad batch? Because soft rice bits would make sense, when I think about a Tatcha fermented rice cleanser.

But this is a hard no for me until they remove the shards of death. Wish I could strain this mixture somehow and put it back in the bottle because I would use it all that way. I’ll be keeping my eye on this product to see if they decide to reformulate in the future.

So I totally ordered this cleanser by mistake (wanted the cleansing balm) BUT what a HAPPY mistake. First off lets take about their packaging. OMG, it is truly amazing. Their is so much information and the layout of it all is just perfect!!! Ok, on to the texture and color – it comes out this white color with little “grains like sugar”.

Its so pretty. You apply the product onto damp skin and then just massage (I always go for about a minute). While I gently massaged I could feel those grains break down. I have sensitive skin and I was SO worried it would be too harsh for my skin, but it didn’t hurt nor irritate it at all.

After thoroughly rinsing it off my face was so soft and just had a glow to it. My face didnt feel stripped or tight at all either. They claim its gentle enough to use every day (twice if you’d want) and it truly is gentle enough.

I’ve been using it 4x a week and am loving the results. So glad I made this order mistake. Naturium is such an amazing company with top rated products in my book!.

I’m still trying to decide exactly how I feel about this product. On one hand, my skin feels incredibly smooth afterwards and I think the ingredient list is a good one. On the other hand, I’ve never tried a more abrasive physical exfoliant.

I mostly have tried to move away from physical exfoliants in the last year or so but was tempted by this due to the ingredient list and promise of gentle exfoliation and I thought could be good on a weekly basis.

No matter how I try to apply it though, it just feels. sharp? I’ve tried other physical exfoliants that have much smoother beads that emulsify a bit more when wet, but this is so harsh on the skin and feels like I’m rubbing glass on my skin (note: I have normal/dry, very resilient skin so I was shocked how sensitive it felt using this).

Disappointing since I normally love all Naturium products, but I’ll probably end up using this on my body.

i have been using Retinol Anti Aging Cream Cleanser for years. It cleans-as any cleanser should-but it does far more. as a senior citizen, I need clean AND soft. I get both with this product

The product is different than any other product I have used for cleansing. It is a bit thick, but I have noticed with use that it does keep my skin smooth. However, I use several other Retinal products as well.

There is no foaming, just a cream cleanser. I do switch out to something lighter sometimes as I feel my skin doesn’t always need this level of treatment every day. I have not experienced any irritations.

Keep out of eyes as it burns!!.

I love this cleanser, it’s creamy and helps with anti aging which is great and it doesn’t leave your face feeling dry, it leaves it smooth and it doesn’t irritate your skin. It gently cleans your face washing all that nasty and leaving it fresh smooth and clean.

I like Algenist products, and this is no exception. At first I used too much of the product and have since found I need only use a rather small amount to work into my skin. I do not wear a lot of make up but am guessing this melting cleanser is very good at dissolving make up and impurities of the day.

I gave it 4 stars because the texture is a little too heavy for my personal opinion. It is very rich, a little thick, but does dissolve with application and glides over the skin smoothly. I rinse it off using water and a washcloth to remove the last traces of cleanser.

The post-cleansing results are the reward: skin looks and feels clean and nourished, which I believe would describe the “anti-aging” aspect of the product. It is gentle, but thorough. A very nice way to cleanse and achieve smooth skin.

I love both cleansing Balms and Oils for my 1st cleanser and this product interested me as a hybrid. It comes out in a thick balmy gel, as you massage in it turns into a thick oil and as you start to add water into a milky consistency.

It breaks down my make up well, only struggling with water proof mascara. The last step being Milky leaves your skin completely without any residue – no oily film that some others do – so if you wanted to also use a a morning cleanse that wouldn’t be a challenge.

I used as my 1st cleanser in the evening and have really enjoyed. The package is a plus over Balms in a tub, as this is a simple and quick squeeze tube. The Scent is pretty strong, and with sensitive skin when I 1st started to use that worried me, but no issues caused throughout my use.

I was not expecting to love this, but I am hooked! I just purchased this a few weeks ago when it went on sale. I love cleansing balms and oils as my first step. I find that the balms/oils really break down makeup and sunscreen, so that my second cleanse is more effective.

I normally use Then I Met You cleansing balm or DHC Cleansing Oil. They both work like magic. Anyway, I can definitely say that this product breakdowns make-up and sunscreen extremely well! The balm itself has a slippery texture so there is zero pulling on your skin, even around your eyes! It just effortlessly melts away my waterproof makeup.

The one downside is it does leave a film on your skin afterwards, but it’s not bad, like with Glow Recipe’s cleansing balm! This didn’t bother me at all as it made my skin feel so soft! But it washes away easily with your second cleanse.

So it’s no big deal. Anyway, this is a beautiful cleansing balm which actually will last a long time as I barely need to use any to get my makeup and sunscreen off. I normally go through a tub of my cleansing balm a month, which is super expensive.

So I am really pleased with this find!.

And I started using cleanser near enough 30 years ago. So why the plaudits? A little goes a long way (especially if you invest in a cleansing brush), decent foaming action, Easy rinse, face feels clean but not tight.

Bonus is, twice a week or so foam it up and leave it on for a minute before rinsing – It acts like a (pretty powerful and visually effective) clarifying masque. Nothing is perfect though – It Used to come in a 150ml tube.

Then 2021 Lab Series rebranded everything and the new design tube is 100ml. But the RRP is almost the same. So wait for when Escentual is doing % off offers.

I have always used this cleanser as it’s great on my skin and comes in 150ml silver bottles. I have ordered my new one it’s come today it’s an updated product now saying anti age and in a black box and now 100ml for the Same price and possibly the same product! I will get onto look fantastic about this and lab series I feel kind of let down.

This stuff is fantastic. I’ve suffered from ingrown hairs and other acne-related issues for more than 10 years. It always seemed like as soon as one outbreak ended, another would start up. I have been looking for something effective at cleaning, but non-drying.

The MAX LS Daily Renewing Cleanser is exactly that. I have been using it in the mornings (in the shower) for about a year or two, but when I ran out of the multi-action cleanser, I switched over to this for morning and night.

Once I had a breakout clear up, I’ve never had anything come back and it’s been a good couple of months. It’s probably the most expensive cleanser I’ve ever used, but I’ve just got to bite the bullet here.

At this point, I’m convinced there’s nothing else I’m ever going to switch to if I can help it.

My preferred cleansers are usually either cleansing balms, or cleansing oil, I find lotions hit or miss. They tend to make my face feel as though it has a film on it, which seems odd coming from someone who prefers oil, but my skin is particular.

The No7 Restore and Renew Dual-Action Cleansing Lotion seemed like it would alleviate that issue for me, and I was excited to try it. The scent and texture was nice, fragrance was minimal with a soothing feel that didn’t sting.

I did feel a bit of a film, which was eliminated when I used a washcloth or flannel, and that ended up being the best method of use. I found that if I only used my hands when cleansing, it wasn’t as effective, but did remove make-up.

I didn’t see much of an exfoliating benefit at first, by about the second week of use, in conjunction with using a wash cloth lightly, I noticed areas were less flaky than before and smoother. Overall I enjoyed this cleanser quite well, it definitely made a difference using a wash cloth or flannel, and removed make-up well.

I was looking for a lotion type facial cleanser when I found this one. I noticed my skin looked dry and knew it was time for a change to my cleansing routine. No. 7 is the answer I was looking for. Honestly, people always compliment me on my skin now.

My daughter-in-law said to me recently that she prays she looks as well as I do when she reaches my age since everyone thinks I am 15-17 years younger than I actually am. It really does start with taking care of your skin and health.

I use it twice a day per my esthetician for oily skin. It’s helps keep my hormonal break outs clear. It smells good and works good. It’s light and gentle. I love it! Image skincare is a bit pricey sometimes but it’s very worth it.

It’s lasted me a while too.

I received this as a free sample and I am about to purchase it the whole tube. I have been waiting months for this to be fully size available. I have combination skin, that depending on the season, my hormones, I am 42 that my skin will go very dry quickly or I can be oily at any given time.

This mask, tighten up my skin but the same time made me feel very soft. My face looked so clean and fresh. I absolutely love it. Its fast, I do not have to wait to schedule the time to do it during the week like do other masks that take longer.

It easily applies on and off. No residue ever left on my face. I do not need to apply additional moisturizer to my face after I am finished with mask. To me it is the worth the cost and it will last me a long time because I do not like to overdo my mask treatments.
