THINNER+THICKER: – PHA is thinner and 1 pump is enough for the whole face. It is also easier to spread over your face due to its texture. However, when PHA is pumped onto fingers to apply to your face, it sometimes drips between the fingers and my sink gets a little messy with the oil because it’s thinner.

– BHA is thicker so you might need more than 1 pump of BHA for the whole face. Since it’s thicker, it takes more product to spread evenly. But also, since BHA is thicker, it doesn’t drip out of my hands so no product goes waste.

SMELL: HERB+CITRUS – PHA smells more like herbs than citrus whereas BHA smells more like citrus. I personally like citrus smell more than herbs on my face. STINKING/DRYING EYE: – When first started using PHA, my skin was dried a little around my eyes and caused itching.

The more I used, the better it got. This could be due to my skin getting used to it or me increasing the amount of moisturizer I apply around my eye. No stinking. – No drying with BHA but BHA stinks my eye A LOT.

It burns my eyes every time and I need to rush to use my second cleanser to wash it off my face to stop the burning. REMOVING MAKEUP: – I believe they both remove the make up to the same extend. I think BHA slightly takes less time to dissolve the eye make up compared to PHA which I liked because I am too lazy to keep rubbing the oil on my eyes.

These products definitely require a second cleanser. Especially for the eye make up with mascara. Overall, I love the texture and smell of BHA. But the eyes are a big problem for me. Just for this reason, I am considering going back to PHA even though I am not a huge fan of the thinness and the herb smell.

I thought about having BHA for skin makeup and PHA for eye make up but this is just adding additional step and cost to my skin care routine which I want to avoid. I like to have one product for all face make up! These were the first products I tried with Soko Glam and were definitely one of the best products I tried for such a reasonable price! I’ve been wanting to try out new skincare products this year, and looking for a new oil cleanser was a top priority for my skincare routine, ’cause I use a lot of mineral sunscreen and it can leave residue if not removed properly.

I had been using the Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Purifying and it checks out all the marks for me. But like I said, I wanted to test out other products. Well, I must say I’m glad I went with one of Soko Glam’s Best of K-Beauty ’cause this stuff gets the job done.

Although, it barely emulsifies, it is so light and I kept adding water and robbing my skin just to get to do so. But it didn’t just remove everything but it left my skin so soft and refreshed. Really like the citrusy scent.

The only downside is that it stings my eyes so bad, unlike the Banila Co. But I took to removing it with a facial sponge and no problem. I still LOVE my Banila Co, but would I buy this one again? YES.

And for the price, the size is worth it.

I am on my second or third bottle of this oil cleanser and have no thoughts about switching any time soon. It’s gentle enough to leave my skin feeling soft and balanced. It was one of the first products to really change my oil/sebum production.

I tried the BHA pore cleansing oil at one point, just to see if it was a better or worse fit and found it was pretty harsh at first – left my skin feeling tight and I had increased oil production. I do have oily skin but not all oily skin is the same and that product was just not for me.

The PHA formula takes care of all my needs without over-cleansing. Smells kind of lemony, a bottle lasts a long time and the price is definitely worth the value. Would recommend this without reservation, especially to someone who is already incorporating BHA elsewhere in their routine.

Just like with 7 day scrub and city charcoal scrub before it. I found this cleanser to be very topical as with most Clinique products. There is no such thing as “deep” clean with Clinique- unless you are getting a facial with extraction on a monthly basis, and even then, your blackheads are not deep cleaned.

Unfortunately black heads do not go way especiallt for large deep pores like mine. I used to be oily as a teenage but now 30-40 I am combination to dry with many large pores clearly blackheads all over, even on cheeks ever since I gave birth.

Nothing will go deep unless you are literally squeezing them out. I find the scrub to be very fine and not doing anything for me. I actually flake and seem more sensitive the next day or two after using this but my clogged pores are going nowhere unless I get facial.

I use the mild liquid cleanser in the morning and this every other night in the shower. I don’t see this as doing more than the mlld cleanser. Even if there is charcoal involved, I still find it very thin.

You can get prob the copy of this product from Olay for half the price. I will continue to use my free scrub samples but never will purchase either full size again.

This scrub is one or of two that I use faithfully. The other one is also by clinic. This product is for a deep clean. I’ve always trusted Clinique products and this is one reason why: their products are created with excellent ingredients and do the job they’re designed to do.

There’s no extra hype.  One of the main ingredients is salicylic acid. This helps gently exfoliate the skin overtime so that blackheads can’t form as easily. It’s not a harsh scrub by any means.

You could also leave it on your face for five or 10 minutes and use it as a mask. It does take a little effort to rinse off. I often Splashwater on my face and then use a washcloth to finish the job.

My husband is actually 40 something year old man. He doesn’t use any fancy skincare. He only uses facial foam. He has been using this product for years and it works well on his face. He really likes this product.

He always uses it when he is in the shower and after the gym. He also likes traveling and wherever he goes and whatever the climate is, this facial foam still works well with his skin. His skin becomes smooth after using this product and his skin is fine with the salicylic acid in this product.

This was my go to for quite some time. The charcoal works so well to clear up any acne or pimples and to prevent them. It’s not harsh or over drying. My skin is on the sensitive side and can get dried out rally easily.

I’m always one for having a few different cleansers in my shower, so having this to compare directly to others showed me where this product is lacking. A little too creamy for me, and while it cleaned my skin, I really wanted it to have more of a clay content, to draw dirt out of my pores, rather than just scrubbing the texture of my skin.

This does the job as far as cleaning my skin, but I do use it twice if I’ve been wearing makeup, just to ensure all is removed. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

I purchased this charcoal scrub mainly for my teenage son who struggles with acne and very large pores. I have decided to try a blackhead drugstore product because my face has been clogged. I have purchase this with my own funds. The scent is nice, fresh on the skin but not something I say is super effective.

It cleans only top layer of the skin removing blackheads that are coming off the skin. It doesn’t go deeper like the apricot one (although that breaks me out). It’s nice to use 2-3 times a week. Not using it every single day.

It’s okay but not the best out there. Also, if your oily skin… this will definitely make you very oily.

Skin type: dry sensitive skin Thoughts: I actually have mixed reviews on this product because I mainly got it since my friend uses this and has super clear skin. But I know that the skincare enthusiasts don’t really recommend this brand because it can be too harsh on the skin.

It is pretty grainy on the skin, so you would definitely feel it physically exfoliating your face or body. I’m not sure if I’ve used it long enough to see any benefits, but since this does have salycilic acid, it did make me break out.

The purging of my skin lasted like 2 weeks before I decided to stop using the product. I am not acne prone but I got a fair amount of small pimples on my forehead, chin, and cheeks. And it didn’t seem like it would go down anytime soon.

So that kinds of freaked me out since I usually have very little pimples, if any at all. Price: $10, pretty inexpensive and the tube will last for a while. I’m not sure if this is good for me. Or maybe I quit using it too fast and needed to use it longer than when I did use it to actually see benefits.

The granules are way too small to do any really exfoliation, they basically just cause teeny tiny scratches to your Epidermis which is really damaging. There is absolutely no beneficial value to this product or their Apricot facial scrub.

I know that the apricot scrub has been around for a long long time and is a stable for many who don’t know any better (in fact, as a teenager it was one of the first exfoliant products my Mom bought me, and not knowing any better I assumed the burning/irritation sensation that I experienced after using it meant that I had gotten a really good scrub and really took care of that dead/dry skin that causes flaking and doesn’t look very pretty, or make anyone feel very pretty, however I know now that the burning sensation is in fact your skin reacting to hundreds of teeny tiny little scratches and crying out for help.

) There are so many other over the counter products now that will provide you a better exfoliation than this one, or if you’re feeling frisky and want a really really legit exfoliation you could also go for gold and make yourself a sugar scrub (and it can be as simple as sugar and olive oil/coconut oil/avocado oil or as elaborate as you want by including any number of the amazing ingredients that are already in your kitchen, just do a little research.

The packaging is quite striking and expensive looking, is says “premium product” at first view. Upon opening the fancy tube you are hit with a pleasant fresh smell. The gel inside feels thick and soft with small grains running through it and when mixed with a little water, lathers-up very well.

Once applied to the face you can actually feel it very gently exfoliate but the soapy lather keeps everything feeling smooth. As said previously it is quite thick so it takes a few rinses to remove so would also be perfect to apply in the shower too.

Once patted dry, your face does feel very smooth and clean. I personally will be adding this to my daily routine, It does feel nice to use.

I generally use a face scrub but have been disappointed with one brand as the scrub didn’t lather and remained in blobs. This, however, was completely different. The scrub dissolved and lathered up into nice smooth (with tiny blobs to scrub the skin).

Yes, the scrub starts off back, but it does lighten with use. I most definitely see the difference in my skin (particularly around the nose area) after the first wash, and it only got better. It is easy to apply, and easy to rinse off, unlike others I have tried.

This was used and tested by parter who works in a dirty factory and had very large pores. We both really enjoyed the refreshing smell. He tested it out and it foams up really well, which with a scrub you don’t always get.

He’s been using for just over a weak now. His skin is the clearest I’ve seen it and he is silky smooth. Recommend using the Nivea moisturiser along side if your skin is on the drier side. Will be purchasing for the future.

This product is really nice, takes only 5 minutes in total before you see results. However, because my skin is combination leaning to dry it over dried my skin. I think if you had the same skin type you can just use them on your problem areas and it would still work.

I would not reccommend it for dry skin types. I would also recommend putting on a very thin layer and putting it on fast because it starts working upon application. The smell is kind of present but not very strong, and it smells nice and refreshing.

All in all it does work but its a bit drying.

I incorporated the 3 in 1 cleanser, scrub and Blackhead into both my AM and PM skincare regimen and it has been an awesome addition to my regimen. The 3 in 1 cleanser, scrub and blackhead has a mild fragrance which smells really good, it comes in a gel like consistency which isnt very smooth to touch due to the presence of very small microbeads that acts as a scrub.

The 3 in 1 cleanser, scrub and blackhead has this cooling effect when applied to my damp face. I love how really small the microbeads are which makes it gentle on the skin while Exfoliating. Overall, my face feels really clean, soft and not overly dry after the 3 actions of cleansing, Exfoliating and purifying are done.

I also noticed some improvements in the clarity of my skin and no breakout also. Totally loving this 3 in 1 and my skin at the moment.

Got it as a free surprise gift, so at least I didn’t buy it. It’s very slimy and feels like it doesn’t wash off properly. Whenever I use it, I rinse at least 3 times because my face doesn’t feel clean.

Can barely feel the actual scrub particles at all, and it has done absolutely nothing for blackheads. I’m mixing it up with some of the apricot body scrub so it doesn’t go to waste. Zero mint smell, very faint fragrance and not very pleasant.

I truly like this 3 in 1 because I can-use it as a daily cleanser and scrub. I like its fresh gel texture with botanical microbeads. I found that it worked really well on my congested skin as it properly declogged my pores and eliminated impurities that may cause blackheads.

I’ve been using this product for nearly two weeks and I haven’t experienced a single breakout. I use it morning and night, because it cleans my skin effectively without making it feel tight and dry. After using this as a face cleanser and scrub, it left my skin looking much clearer, brighter and refreshed so this gets a definite thumbs up.

Love this scrub. I use it after washing my face, I mostly use it on my nose cheeks and chin. It’s amazing how it smooths your skin and leaves it like velvet.

I purchased this as I have blackhead prone sking thag worsens during my time of the month. I was in normal shop so I was unable to purchase any big name brand so I grabbed this and It really was a waste of money.

I haven’t wore makeup in two months or sweated much so this really gave me the chance to test the product. I’ve notice no change in my skin atall, the beads aren’t scrubby. It doesn’t lather up well.

It hasnt made my skin feel any different.
