I have oily and acne-prone skin and have tried everything from high price dermotolgy products to the whole beauty section at Walmart and everything in between, but none gave me the results I was hoping for.
That being said when I first came across this toner I was skeptical and doubted it would be any different, especially for the low price. But within 2 weeks of using the product, my skin was almost completely clear! And unlike other acne products and toners I have used, it does not over dry my skin or leave extra oil behind.
Biore Witch Hazel Toner has completely healed my skin and allowed me to become more confident. I completely recommend this product!.
I’ve been faithful to LRP’s Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser for a year, but I decided to try this one to see how this differs. While I LOVE the purifying foaming cleanser and while it’s been great at making my face feel fresh and clean, despite it being for oily skin types, I never felt like it did all that much for improving my acne.
Since they have an Effaclar version of it that uses zinc and salicylic acid, I figured why not try it, so I asked for this as a Christmas gift. While I’ve only been using it for two days, I’m already impressed.
This doesn’t foam as thickly as the toleriane cleanser, but it still foams well and creates a rich lather that was satisfying and wonderful and felt great on my sensitive, acne-prone skin. Sadly, unlike the toleriane cleanser, for some reason this isn’t scent-free, it has a floral/medicinal smell that is stronger than I’d like it to be, but it’s nothing offensive.
I’ll also admit that this feels a little bit irritating at first, but already my skin has adjusted to that, the next day I had little to no irritation. It is drying though, but as always with skincare, moisturizer is A MUST (I use LRP’s Lipikar AP+ lotion as a moisturizer, FANTASTIC stuff and since I use it only for my face, the big bottle has lasted me for almost a year!) The consistency is much thinner, so I have a feeling that this bottle (the 400 ml) will last even longer than the other one that usually lasts me 3 months.
I can see this lasting at least a month longer, so I’ll get even more bang for my buck if I decide to continue on with this! I have high hopes for this product because seriously, my skin so far in only two days just doesn’t look and feel so oily, and this also pairs so lovely with the La Roche Posay micellar water and my tretinoin.
And my breakouts, well, I haven’t had any, the one or two I had are GONE! So while this product isn’t perfect and has some of its flaws, the results in such a short time are AMAZING and I cannot wait to see if my skin will improve with time.
So if you have acne-prone skin (esp hormonal) give this one a shot like I did, it’s soo worth it!.
Listen, I’m acne prone, sensitive skin, combination-oily, late 20’s…. this face wash has helped me tremendously in the past THREE weeks. So, I was using CeraVe for the duration of that bottle. My skin was never good on that, but I watched a lot of YouTubers recommend it.
I would get a lot of bumps under my skin. It was just the face wash, but the face wash played a major role because after switching to this when it ran out, my skin was already starting to heal. It is drying, for sure, but it cleans my skin so well.
I wore a full face of makeup. I used the take it off by Clinique and then washed my face for 60 secs then 30-60…there was nothing on the white towel and that never happened before. I NEEDED A REAL CLEANSER.
Yes, you need a moisturizer too, but having combo skin, man, a lot of them are so disappointing and cause new breakouts under and on my skin. I use Stratia and that works for me, but it’s not SUPER hydrating—for combo/oily peeps.
In all, I’m not switching until my skin tells me. I’m testing out the toner as well and so far, no new breakouts! Anywho, have a beautiful day!.
I have oily skin especially around my t-zone as well as occasional red blemishes on my cheeks. I would often wake up with a greasy face and whiteheads dotted over due to the oil especially round my cheeks and forehead.
Since using this my skin has cleared up massively! My whiteheads and blemishes have reduced significantly and my skin looks overall a lot brighter and a lot less dull. My pores seem slightly minimised too so my face looks smother and it feels soft also.
I use this twice daily and sometimes have some slightly drying patches around my mouth but this is nothing serious and clears up after using moisturiser. I would definitely only use this if you have oily skin or if you have combination skin to be used a few times a week.
My skin looks so much more healthier and glowy since using this, so if you have oily, blemish prone skin, I would definitely recommend!.

I feel like I am taking the best care of my skin and body while washing with this. Before I used body washing like dove and it always felt like it left a residue and was mostly just perfumed based. With this, I feel not only am I really cleaning my body but I am putting the best ingredients on my skin to heal and protect it.
Great price for the size, lasts about 2-3 months. Highly recommend!.
I’ve been using this cleanser for a few months now and it really has helped put my oil in check. My skin is far less oily without being too dry and also helps with acne. It feels silky smooth, smells great and leaves my face feeling refreshed! The bottle has also lasted me at least 6 months with every day use.
It eliminates impurities without drying (or stripping the skin) and won’t clog pores. Non-comedogenic and paraben-free. Biodegradable and formulated with a plant-based extract also known as silymarin to help reduce excess oil.
Use twice daily on oily skin. Apply in the morning and/or evening to moistened face and/or body.
I received a trial size of Avène Cleanance Cleansing Gel from BzzAgent in exchange for an honest review. I’ve currently replaced my normal cleanser with this one for the past week, and I’ve really enjoyed it.
I’ve found that Avène Cleanance Cleansing Gel has a wonderful consistency, it is in fact a gel as it says, but this has been enjoyable for me due to switching from a more liquid based cleanser. I find that I lose less product when trying to lather and I find it easier to get the correct amount.
A little bit of this goes a long way, I use about a pea sized amount for my entire face and neck. The gel creates a full lather that has a wonderful feel to it. It goes on easily and rinses clean without any film or greasy feeling left behind, which makes it a bit quicker to use compared to some other products.
The scent is enjoyable and light, not overwhelming. As someone with oily, acne prone skin, this works really well for me as it’s a bit drying, but not so much that my face feels parched after use, just enough to cleanly wash the oil from my skin, while still remaining soft.
It leaves your skin with a bit of a matte finish to it, which for me creates a perfect base for moisturizer and night time skincare routines, or is a fantastic base to apply makeup. It’s also good for sensitive skin as sometimes cleansers are irritating to me or cause redness after use.
I’ve noticed it’s been beneficial in helping to clear a few acne spots I currently have just within a week of use, and I notice my face is less oily the morning after using it. All in all it’s a great addition to a skincare routine for anyone whose skin might fit these parameters.
I’ve really enjoyed using the Avène Gel Cleanser! The color itself is unique compared to any other cleanser I’ve used (I love the blue!) and it leaves your skin feeling amazing afterwards. I’ve used many different cleansers and gel is definitely my favorite, so I’d 100% buy this product again.
I love the feeling of it in your hands and it lathers well on your face without leaving a sticky residue. My face feels great afterwards and it does well at stripping the oil and grime, even on my oily skin! The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is because the scent isn’t very appealing and it’s intense! I normally don’t mind products with fragrance but this one is completely overwhelming and makes me sneeze every use.
If you’re sensitive to fragrance than I don’t recommend this cleanser. Despite that, I would still suggest this cleanser if you enjoy gel consistency or want to try something new. As mentioned, I would definitely use it again.
In reference to the picture attached, this product is clearly not an acne cleanser but it does great at cleaning your face efficiently and making your skin feel soft.
I received this as a sample to try. I love the gel consistency of this cleanser. It lathers a little bit but not much. It seems to break down my makeup well which is great. The downside to this product, from my perspective, is the heavy fragrance.
I don’t mind a little fragrance but this is intense and overpowering. I first tested it on the inside of my arm because I have really sensitive skin and I need to test a product before putting it on my face.
Just trying it on my arm the fragrance was overpowering, so much so that I could actually taste it in my mouth. I didn’t get a rash on my arm I assumed it would be safe to use on my face. It removed my makeup, but naturally, I could taste the product even without it getting in my mouth just because of how scented it is.
It was as if I had eaten soap – not pleasant. Because of the strong scent, and a slight sticky feeling on my skin after using it, I didn’t feel clean. It felt like I still had cleanser on my face and a ton of chemicals.
I also noticed some redness and a little bit of itchiness after using. If you have sensitive skin or are sensitive to fragrance I suggest steering clear of this. I do have sensitive skin but I’m not sensitive to fragrance yet this was horrible.

I’m completely blown away at how great this has made my skin look and feel. I know exuviance is a great brand that I’ve heard many people rave about but I never thought it would really work for me. I have slightly textured skin and the occasional breakout and I’ve never really found anything that could minimize the signs of past breakouts and texture but I’ve found it in this 3 step system.
Not only does it work great it’s so simple and easy to do and doesn’t require fancy tools or a ton of time. I have been using the Embrace deep clean AHA cleanser 2 times a day. One in the morning and one at night.
It’s a soap free, non-drying foaming gel cleanser that deep cleans my face and removes impurities and surface oils. Just this alone leaves my face feeling extremely clean, fresh, super soft, and smooth to the touch.
Then, once a day I use the single use daily resurfacing peel pad that exfoliates and removes dead surface cells and helps any rough patches I have and leaves my skin extra smooth and glowing. I could stop there but no there’s one more weapon in this arsenal of goodness and its the glycolic expert moisturizer which I apply 2 times a day after I’ve cleansed my face in the morning and again at night after I have cleansed my face and used the resurfacing wipe.
I can’t tell you how amazing my skin feels and looks. I’ve received so many compliments and questions about what I’m using and doing different to get such amazing results in literally no time at all.
The first day I seen and felt improvements and it has only gotten better each day. It takes 5 mins in the morning and a few more at night because I do the 3 steps at night and 2 in the morning but total maybe 13 mins a day and my skin is glowing and clear.
When trying out a new skincare product or line I always like to take the most amount of time possible to formulate a good honest opinion of how well the products worked for me or didn’t. I have struggled with acne on and off since I was 14, I am now 26 so it’s safe to say I have tried dozens of cleansers and products over the years and spent more money then I care to think about.
So I have to say I am VERY impressed with this product because none have ever came close in comparison to how well this cleanser has worked for me and helped clear up my skin. This was the one product I have been searching for and never found that tied my whole skincare routine together so I am very happy I received this voxbox! The price point of this cleanser is well worth the $30 it will cost you compared to how much product you get and how little you need to use! A little definitely goes a long way with this cleanser being that it has a nice and thick substance to it so it should last you about 2+ months.
For someone like me who washes their face 2-4 times a day depending on the day and what I am doing it lasted me over a month to a month and a half I want to say. I love the way it foams up really nicely when you add a little bit of water and it has a light pleasant clean scent to it.
This cleanser is powerful yet gentle enough and I am always left with my skin feeling more calm, looking brighter, feeling super clean and baby soft after cleansing. It has drastically changed the shape that my skin was in from fading acne scars, lightening up my deep acne scars that have been there for years and I thought might never go away, evened out my skin texture, calms my current breakouts, helps reduce the amount of breakouts I get and how bad my breakouts are now a days compared to how they used to be.
This cleanser has slowly but surely helped me get back to having my porcelain doll like skin I used to have at one point in time. Now this is not a miracle product by any means I don’t believe there is such a thing but I do feel I have finally found something that works just right for MY skin the way I need it to but just like any skincare product you need to figure out what your skin needs since everyone is different and it takes TIME and consistency to really see results but I have to say I’ve never been more in love with a skincare product then this and have already purchased a new one💕.

First off, this stuff smells amazing! Pump bottle allows for the perfect amount to be dispensed every time. It lathers into a nice, gentle foam that feels great on your skin. I was actually surprised at how hydrating this felt after washing it off.
The first time, I thought that I did not wash off of the product correctly. It was so smooth and soft. I have not used Clean and Clear for years after starting my skincare journey. It seems they have really stepped up their brand and products.
It is great to see such an affordable brand create such a lovely product. I did not break out or have any kind of an adjustment period. I will definitely be open to trying this and more products from them in the future.
Thank you Home Tester Club for this refreshing Clean & Clear Aloe Vera Gentle Cleanser! This cleanser felt very gentle and refreshing on my sensitive, combination skin. It was very effective at removing the dirt, oil, and bacteria from my skin without causing it to feel overly dry.

I received Clean & clears aloe Vera gentle cleanser to try, I’ve had it about a week now so I’ve really gotten to use it and I absolutely love it, only need one pump to wash my entire face so the bottle will last a long time.
It smells very light but good. And my face is staying clear I absolutely will purchase this cleanser again. I leave it in my shower so it’s easy and convenient to use. Clean & clear has always put out nice products and this just goes to show they have done it again.
The shape of the bottle sits perfectly on the ledge of my shower for easy access, so my whole family has been using it as well, they also are loving having soft clean faces as well. Thank you for a great product I will add to my daily routine.

Reviews From Real Customers
I’ve only been using it for a few days but already feel like this is the one for me. Cleans my pores thoroughly and leaves the skin feeling very very clean. I’ve used the 2 in 1 cleanser before this one and while it did smell better and had a “glowy” kind of feel afterwards, i think this one is a better fit for me.
I have blemish prone slightly oily skin if that helps! Thank you for a great product. Love!.
I have sensitive skin that is dry in the winter and oily in the summer, so I have to completely change my skincare routine with the changing seasons. However, if I use anything too harsh in the summer, my skin gets very red and irritated, and if I use anything to rich in the winter, my skin will breakout.
It’s been challenging to find products that work for my skin type. It’s the middle of the summer now and I ran out of face wash, and this time I decided to try something different. I was looking for something that was sustainably-packaged, and found Juice.
I was reluctant to try the Blemish Clearing Cleanser, because I was afraid it would be too harsh. After putting it in my cart and taking it back out multiple times, I finally pulled the trigger, and I’m so glad that I did! It is so gentle, yet my face feels truly clean after I use it.
I pair it with the Oil-Free Moisturizer, which is so rich and hydrating it’s hard to believe there’s no oil in it! Basically, my skin has never been happier, and I’m a customer for life!.
I feel like everyone says they have sensitive skin, but don’t realize what sensitive skin really is. When introducing a new product to your skin, there will almost always be a reaction or immediate change in the skin.
Obviously there is a difference between your average reaction and an allergic one. Lucky for me I have sensitive skin and am allergic to just about anything. I have had reactions to witch hazel which is suppose to be a very gentle option.
With all this being said, I did not have a reaction to this cleanser. You would think that a cleanser with this much fruit acid would burn or tingle, but I really didn’t feel a sensation which in my book is a good thing! The texture of this cleaners is “goopy” which I like because unlike liquid or gel cleansers, it doesn’t immediately run down your face and into the drain.
It allows me to build a nice lather with either my hands or a konjac sponge (which is my favorite option by far). The smell is not pleasant by any means, but people need to realize that when a product smells “pretty” there is nothing natural about the scent.
Those smell good products use artificial ingredients to make the product smell more appealing. While this marketing technique may work on many, it is important to remember that you can’t expect something to be natural and smell artificial.
In regards to how effective the product is, I did not experience this magical overnight change. It took time for my skin to take to the product. I do suffer from moderate to severe hormonal/cystic acne and have noticed a tremendous change in my skin over the course of 2 months.
I still get a break out here and there but it is much more minor both in longevity of the breakout and size which ultimately results in less pain. I truly feel that at the rate I am going, given another 2 months and I will be able to achieve close to, if not, perfect skin.
I am very happy with this cleanser and have recently order the exfoliating cleanser and the calming serum. I cannot use anything with salicystic acid so these products are perfect to help calm my skin and effectively treat breakouts without the use of harsh chemicals.
Overall, I would say this product is amazing. It may not give you immediate results or it may (yay you!), but if you give it time to work, you just might find that like myself it can really make a difference!.
Differin daily deep cleanser offers the benefits of a deep cleanse, a gentle moisturizer, and the power of a benzoyl peroxide treatment, all in one step. Formulated by dermatologists, this formula contains 5% benzoyl peroxide to treat acne for all skin types even oily and sensitive skin with less dryness and irritation compared to maximum strength formulas.
Its dual-action formula cleanses deep within the pores, removing any excess oils, as gentle moisturizers help to maintain the skins natural moisture balance. This cleanser will not clog pores or overly dry skin.
This product pairs well with Differin oil-absorbing moisturizer or restorative night moisturizer as part of a daily skincare routine.
wow wow wow! my oily/sensative skin loves this! I typically use Korean skincare products in my routine, but decided to try this cleanser out because I wasnt sure when my next international order would be.
Glad I tried it! I used Paula’s Choice BHA Chemical exfoliant once a week for 1 year. although I did notice a difference as my face felt cleaner the next morning, I didnt notice that my blackheads were dissolving or noticeable progress after long-time use.
I decided to try this Differin cleanser also because it has Benzoyal Peroxide in it, and I tend to break out with whitehead around my nose quite often. probably due to my oily skin and sebum production in that area.
and WOW! I used this cleanser in the AM this past 3 days and the blackheads on my nose and cheek area are almost complete gone! I’m not sure if I will keep this in my daily routine because I dont want my skin to get used to it and not work after a long period of use.
Condition: Clogged pores in need of deep cleansing and purification. Ideal for oily, combination, and blemish-prone skin types. Solution: Blemish Clear Cleanser provides a gentle, deep-cleansing that helps clear your pores from the impurities, build-up, and daily grime that lead to breakouts.
Clinically tested Psoralea corylifolia helps with the reduction of blemishes, irritation, and discoloration while Grenadys helps brighten skin tone. A combination of key extracts such as willow bark, licorice root, witch hazel, and cucumber work with tea tree oil to help further combat the signs of blemishes and redness while also offering soothing benefits to help calm the skin.
I tried this at night to calm my oily nose, and brighten some dark spots after blemishes. In the next morning, the result I had expected appeared; the pores around my nose have been visibly minimized, and the blemish marks have been brightened! The elegant scent is also nice; but the lacking one star is for the stiff pump to avoid fine adjustment of the amount of usage; so I repeat the minimum push for adjustment!.
This non-drying, lightly foaming cleanser removes makeup and dirt, while penetrating deep into pores helping to reduce blackheads and breakouts. As well as effectively cleansing the skin, this 2% Salicylic Acid cleanser has an added zinc compound.
Together they help with oil-control, reducing blackheads and breakouts and promoting a more even looking complexion.
I’m 45, have had a history of acne and have used alot of products on the market. But I’m glad to say, my acne had settled with few breakouts, except due to hormonal changes. Most of the time, I keep something with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid in my arsenal when I feel likey skin is shifting or seeming a bit off.
I bought this cleanser in the hopes that it being cheaper, a basic salicylic cleanser that it couldn’t do any worse than what I’ve used up to this point in my life. This was thick, right from the bottle, and foams well.
And the ingredients and stance of the company is pretty great toward their skincare. Simple, clean lines and marketing with a great price point. But here’s the thing, this after 3 uses opened up an active breakout.
I know that when you switch cleansers, oil production and your skin balance has to get accustomed to everything, but this was so bad. I have had very clear skin up to the use of this product, and since I’m breaking out like I’m in my teens.
This isn’t “purging” or sensitivity. There are other ingredients in this cleanser within the delivery system that have to be creating problems in some people. I do use and have a history of using glycolic peels and salicylic peels for regular exfoliation and use them only when necessary.
This product should be avoided if you are someone that is expecting this to work gently and to be non-comedegenic. I really think the “purging” is more marketing than anything. Any cleanser that you use messes with the PH and generally affects your skin in some way.
If you’re wanting purging or desire an active breakout for months, use this, or explore Accutane, or look at some Rxs for a retinoid from a Dermatologist. There are better cleansers available.
So finally writing a review of The INKEY List after a few months of use with the following products: – Salicylic Acid Cleanser – Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum – Beta Hydroxy Acid Serum – Polyglutamic Acid Serum After using these products in order and eliminating all other products, ultimately all of these were a dud for me.
I ended up with more acne that I have ever experienced that just wouldn’t go away. It’s very unfortunate cause (1) The price is great for these, yes a bit on the small side, but I found a little did go a long way.
(2) These came highly recommended for acne-prone skin, and I had a couple of blemishes here and there that I wanted to keep away. (3) The ingredient list seemed to be minimal and fragrance free. Added a star because, I do understand this does work for a lot of people and my skin did feel clean and not dried out.
However, the amount of acne that appeared on my forehead and chin was shocking. Even changing out my pillow covers frequently (which I do already and use a fragrance free detergent). I had been using The Ordinary products for years and wanted to give these a try since I heard amazing things and the packaging travels well for the amount of traveling I was doing recently for work.
I don’t like to waste products so since I am almost done, I will finish them. I’m glad I did try them out though, but I will not be purchasing this brand again unfortunately, Bummer, but sometimes it takes trial and error.
I have been using the product for just under a week now to treat chronic acne on my chin area. I tried using this cleanser, then the Ordinary Niacinamide, followed by the Ordinary retinol in squalene, then the Cereve moisturizer.
I noticed a slight tingle after using this face wash, which I assumed was natural. But when I put the Ordinary niacinamide on I noticed my skin felt almost burning. I knew that there was an adjusting period to any new product so I’ve stuck with it for this week.
I took the niacinamide out of my routine to see if it was heightening the burning sensation, which it was a little. I also tried taking out the Ordinary retinol in squalene I had been using because I had read that pairing sialic acid and retinal could be too strong for the skin.
but even just with using this cleanser and moisturizer my skin felt really sensitive and burned if I scratched it by accident. I realized this morning that my skin looks old, and I’m 19. this product legit gave me slight wrinkles and hooded eyes, along with general redness.
in their defence, I love that this product works so well for so many people, and I think it’s AWESOME how conscious they are as a company!!! but this definitely did NOT work for me. and I do realize that I should have discontinued use as soon as I realized it wasn’t working for my skin.
This groundbreaking cleanser is clinically proven to reduce breakouts and is effective at targeting all forms of acne. This concentrated formula features an unprecedented combination of clinical actives to help kill bacteria and clear dead surface skin cells and excess sebum that can clog pores and lead to acne breakouts.
Powerful active ingredients including salicylic acid, azelaic acid, glycolic acid and niacinamide treat post-acne hyperpigmentation and help keep acne at bay, while green tea and zinc help calm inflammation.
Intended for daily use, this cleanser resets the skin’s pH levels for a healthy, balanced surface microbiome. Formulated without ingredients that are known to feed yeast and aggravate malassezia folliculitis, a condition triggered by an imbalance of the skin microbiome that often goes undiagnosed.
I’ve never seen anything marketed for malasezzia – I lost it when I saw that on the side of the box and I knew I had to try it and the matching spot treatment. And it’s WORKING for me! It’s flattening all the little bumps and fading my dark marks more than anything else (even the antifungal medicines).
I didn’t love it right away though: Face wash: The texture is a bit grainy and there’s a clay residue it leaves behind that made me feel a bit dry (if you have very oily skin you might love it though).
I switched to using it only once a day, applying it only to my troubled areas, letting it sit for a couple minutes, then rinse and use a gentle toner on a cotton pad to clean the rest of my face and remove the residue.
when I don’t use this, I only use a gentle toner to clean my face. Spot treatment: After cleansing, moisturize and spread a pea sized amount of the spot treatment all over the affected areas pretty quickly or it will pill up.
It also has a clay-like texture and I don’t usually like matte (I don’t like it from the wash) but the spot treatment is something different all together – I look so clean and soft, it’s weightless and I don’t feel dried out at all.
Nothing’s ever kept me matte all day while also feeling this comfortable. I was using this at night but now I switched to using it during the day because it looks so nice. It doesn’t go well under my makeup though so it’s only for no-makeup days.
I think this duo is seriously worth a try, play around with it to see what works for you. Starting slow is usually best.
I had heard a lot of good things about the Skinfix Acne+ 2% BHA Cleanser from many other skincare influencers so I was super excited to be gifted the cleanser by Skinfix to try in exchange for my honest opinion.
So first impressions, this cleanser comes in a really nice easy to use squeeze tube packaging. The cleanser itself is very gentle and mild and perfect for use with a electronic cleansing device. I also found that the Skinfix Acne+ 2% BHA Cleanser lathers very well with just a little bit of product.
The Skinfix Acne+ 2% BHA Cleanser promises to clear up skin and keep acne at bay by controlling sebum production with ingredients such as 2% salicylic acid in the form of BHA. As a person with oily to combination skin with some acne from masking since Covid, I noticed that the cleanser was great in keeping my t-zone area generally less oily and it was helpful in settling the acne and my inflamed skin where my maskne occurs.
I would highly recommend the Skinfix Acne+ 2% BHA Cleanser to anyone looking for a mild cleanser that helps with acne. If you don’t have acne issues, this cleanser is still good for preventative measures and daily use because it is so gentle.
I’m dealing with some stubborn acne lately. I opted to try this cleanser instead of a BHA product that worked in the past, La Roche’s Effaclar 2% gel cleanser. There’s no comparison between these products.
This cleanser is not only significantly more expensive, but it doesn’t seem to be nearly as effective. It has no slip or lathering effect, requiring a large amount of product to be used to avoid excessive friction when rubbing it into skin.
It definitely exfoliates, probably due in part to said friction. It had very little noticeable effect on active or developing acne. I switched back to my Effaclar cleanser and quickly noticed how much more effective it is, while using far less product with a less irritating process.
I speculate that this poor performance could be due to packing too many active into a single cleanser, causing formulation changes that reduce the efficacy of the Salicylic acid, but I’m not an expert.
I do know for sure that this was a waste of money.

I started using the spacial cleanser on the recommendation of my esthetician. I can honestly tell such a big difference in the elasticity of my skin, the brightness of my skin, and be firmness of my skin.
After I’ve been using this for about a month, I make up artists that I work with regularly asked me what I’ve been using because she said my skin looked younger each time she saw me. I would definitely recommend this.
This is the best cleanser I have ever used. An esthetician recommended it to me for sensitive skin and everything she said proved true. Worth the price, lasts a long time. Removes dirt and makeup effectively.
Decreased my amount of break outs significantly. Will continue to use!.
I have been using this cleanser for almost 5 years. It’s the one and only cleanser I have found that keeps my skin clear of blemishes and lightly exfoliated everyday. It is gel based and has little to no suds.
Love the new lid on the bottle and will continue to buy for as long as it works for my skin.

I soooo wish I had before and after photos since using this product daily. I suffer from hormonal acne, and patches of redness that looks like acne but there aren’t any raised bumps. My pores have also become more noticeable as I’ve aged (I’m 36).
When I tell you I’ve tried nearly every acne cleanser out there I mean I HAVE TRIED THEM ALL. The only one that ever made a difference is the original Proactive cleanser but I’ve stopped using products that contain parabens and it wasn’t working for me like it used to anyways.
I’ve found that salycic acid cleansers don’t work for me and neither does benzoyl peroxide, although it used to. I picked this up during Ulta’s 21 days of beauty sale figuring I had nothing to lose and within a week my skin had completely cleared up for the first time in over a year.
I started reading about the benefits of sulfur for acne prone skin and wish I’d had known about it so much sooner! I’ve been using this cleanser for over a month now and still get the occasional pimple around that time of the month but it’s a night and day difference from before.
I can actually leave the house without foundation and feel comfortable in my skin. If you’ve tried salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide cleansers and they haven’t worked for you pleeeaaase give this a shot.
The only downside is that it has a very mild scent (to be expected with any product containing sulfur), but it’s not at all overbearing and dissipates once you wash it off. But if you’re super sensitive to scents, maybe get it when it’s on sale or buy a mini first.
I purchased when I ran out of a prescription 6% sulfur face wash (SulfaCleanse) and love it so much I’ve never gone back to the rx! While my prescription face wash helped keep acne-rosacea flares at bay, it was too drying to use more than once daily (even with 1x daily use, SulfaCleanse often left dry, flakey patches around my eyes and mouth).
OTOH, I was pleasantly surprised to find EradiKate Daily Cleanser’s formula incredibly gentle. The combination of 3% sulfur—half the strength of my rx formula and soothing ingredients like colloidal oatmeal allow me to treat my skin twice daily without drying or irritation.
This has made my skin clearer and more resilient to acne-rosacea flares *and* hormonal breakouts! The sulfur scent is greatly tempered by the addition of soothing and calming herbal ingredients; EradiKate Daily Cleanser doesn’t have that in-your-face rotten egg smell typical of many sulfur-based products, and the little it does dissipates upon rinsing and drying.
Because you only need a pea-sized amount of EradiKate Daily Cleanser to work into a lather each time you wash your face, the formula is pretty economical. A 4oz tube sells for ~$40USD and lasts me ~6 months of twice daily use.
If you’re hesitant to pull the trigger on the full size, a 2oz tube retails for ~$20USD and should last ~3 months. This cleanser has been magic in a tube for my (reactive, eczema-prone, combination) acne-rosacea skin—for both treating and preventing blemishes without causing dryness or irritation.
I cannot recommend enough if your skin reacts well to sulfur! ⭐️NOTE⭐️: if you’re unsure how your skin reacts to sulfur and don’t want to purchase a $$ product until you know it’s an ingredient that works for you, I recommend purchasing an inexpensive sulfur mask or bar soap from your pharmacy or Amazon (de la Cruz sulfur mask, sulfur/zinc “Z-bar” soap, and generic sulfur/salicylic acid bar soaps all retail for ~$3USD/each).
None of these are as hydrating as KS EradiKate, but they will give you an idea as to how your skin handles sulfur as an active for acne treatment🙂.
I absolutely never review any products, but felt almost obligated to by the success I have had with this product. I have suffered with severe acne both during my pregnancy and the last 5 months post-partum.
I spent 9 months trying everything to fix it and the last 5 months tackling it again from every angle. I typically have true combo skin, bad blackheads, extremely sensitive and acne prone skin especially when over-exfoliated.
After narrowing my acne down to a fungal acne caused by varying hormone levels, I searched high and low for sulfur containing products to accompany a topical anti fungal prescribed from my physician.
This face wash is one of the few suggested for fungal acne, and the only one you need. My skin has not looked this good in over a year and a half (even with just the topical anti fungal ). You can definitely smell the sulfur, but my skin has never felt dried out or over exfoliated.
Highly recommend a try if all other paths have been unsuccessful.

I was looking for an exfoliating face cleanser to use in the hot shower once or twice a week that would exfoliate without feeling harsh or making my skin tight/dry after. This fits the bill perfectly! The exfoliating bits don’t scratch but still do their job, the oils leave behind a protective residue that I can feel while I’m still in the shower but seems to disappear when I towel my face off, leaving it feeling like just skin, smooth, and ready for my moisturizer.
I’ve now repurchased and have been using for over a year. Tips for use: Open the container away from your face so you’re not blasted with the scent (it’s pungent and unique but I got used to it quickly and now kind of enjoy it), add some into your palm and use your other hand to drip a few drops of water onto it and fold in, repeat to add more if needed until you get a spreadable paste you can apply.
Once applied to your face and rubbed around to exfoliate, just rinse gently to get the bits off, but do not rub-rinse harder (or at all) until right before you are ready to exit the shower. This will let the residue protect your skin’s barrier from the hot, drying water.
Note that some people seem to use this daily, but for my dryish, acne-free skin, this would be way too much and I don’t understand how people use this over a sink without making a mess and leaving bits in their hairline.
But it seems to work for them! With Kaolin as the second ingredient, you could leave this on your face for a few minutes before rinsing off for more of a oil-reduction/mask effect, but for me this was too drying.
