Best Face Oil For Rosacea (2026 Updated)

A true hidden gem. There’s no clout or social media influence on fresh products ever, they have poor advertising & marketing. (Please stay that way because if everyone knew how good this stuff was it would never be in stock.

) I’ve been using this since 2015/2016 when Sephora sold it out as a mini Christmas ornament gift. I know they only do that on great products (or at least they used to when I bought this). But truly an amazing job on Fresh’s end.

My skin looks amazing , always smooth and elasticity is good. I feel good about putting omegas on my skin that our bodies don’t naturally produce on their own. I put it on every night before bed and don’t wash my face in the AM.

I 10/10 recommend. If you are debating on spending the $50+ trust me just do it, and the bottle lasts for months. You are all welcome!.

Not everyone will like this oil. For reference I enjoy thick Nivea cream and Vaseline. My favorite face oil is Farmacy’s Honey Grail. This is thick and tacky. Personally it dries down a bit too much for my liking unlike the Farmacy one which was a comforting layer of moisture on my face throughout the night.

I also don’t enjoy the smell of this oil. Regardless is does do the job. If you don’t like thick oils this won’t be for you because even the dry down it will still be viable on your face. I recommend trying the FRESH Rose Serum Oil it’s super lightweight and love using in the summer if you do want an oil without the feeling.

First off, the amount of product you receive for the price point is extremely generous. I tend to have more dryness in the cold winter months and need an extra boost of hydration. I mix this in with my daily moisturizer at the end of my routine and I have noticed a significant difference in my skin within the first day of using it.

The smell might not be enjoyable to some people but I absolutely love it, it smells earthy and fresh. I do however find that when I use this oil alone and apply directly on top of my moisturizer that it leaves my skin feeling sticky and greasy but it’s fine when I mix it with my moisturizer.

I was really hesitant to try an oil but got this in a sample. I have acne prone skin (hormonal but also environmental) and I am thrilled to say this hasn’t caused ANY problems. My skin is looking more even in complexion, and it feels firmer after using this.

This product has me so torn. No where does it say that it helps calm redness associated with rosacea, but from the first night I put this on, I have woken up with almost total normal skintone, redness greatly reduced.

it was a total shocker! BUT it also gives me these little, tiny whiteheads around my mouth and nose. I think maybe it is the coconut oil? They aren’t horrible looking. I’ve had way worse acne, but they aren’t great either.

I love the calming effect this has on my skin and hate the little breakouts. I won’t be purchasing this again, but I will be looking for products with these ingredients minus the coconut to see what is calming down the redness so wonderfully.

I know this is expensive for just half an ounce, and if this is your only concern, I would say that the tiniest bit is needed and this half ounce oil has lasted me longer than some full ounce serums that were at the same price point if that helps anyone.

I’ve repurchased this product a couple times now. I was on the hunt for a hydrating facial oil that didn’t make me break out and this is my absolute go-to, plus it’s so affordable. My skin normally is extremely oily but I’m currently on a course of Accutane, a medication for acne that makes you extremely dry while on it.

I’ve used this product with both skin types and have liked it just as much with both. I wear this oil at night and pat it onto my moisturizer, then slug with Vaseline to seal it in. It’s very refreshing feeling and I’ve noticed fine lines diminishing and overall skin texture improvement while using it.

It doesn’t have fragrance, which is a plus for sensitive skin like mine. It does have a bit of a scent but I never considered it until I saw people commenting about it here. The oil itself is green, which is pretty fun, so don’t freak when you get it and it’s not clear or yellow like a lot of oils.

Also, I’ve tried it because it feels so nice, but I would say it’s definitely more of a nighttime wear than a daytime wear for me. It is, well, very oily and your face will shine like the good Madonna if you try and use it in your morning skincare routine lol.

I bought this about a month ago on a whim upon reading some reviews. I personally love unusual, herbal, earthy smells – it definitely has a green fish-oil scent and I adore it. I was dealing with hyperpigmentation, dehydration, dryness and breakouts due to dry winter air in my apartment.

All that changed about my routine initially was the addition of this oil. Within a few days my skin was soft again. Within a week the breakouts subsided. My hyperpigmentation has started to dramatically clear up — I do want to note that I think that has more to do with my moisture barrier than with any brightening properties of the oil.

I’ve started mixing this with my favourite rosehip oil, the Pai Skincare Rosehip Bioregenerate Oil (sorry TO, but it’s the best on the market) and my skin hasn’t looked this good in a very long time.

I highly recommend giving this a try if your moisture barrier is damaged. I did not expect this to do much at all and now I don’t think I will ever be without it.

I’ve used other oils in the past but this oil trumps all of them. Don’t let the green color throw you off, this stuff is amazing. And I’m not sure if it’s directly attributed to this oil, but I swear ever since I started using this oil, my baby hairs along my hairline have been growing like crazy.

I had this annoying patch of baby hair that was longer than all the rest of my baby hairs, but not long enough to blend with the rest of my hair. I’d always have to slick it back with some hairspray and pray it didn’t spring back out, but when I started using this oil, it grew like three inches in length and now blends with the rest of my hair.

I have some tension alopecia along one area of my hairline as well, and out of curiosity I started applying the oil to that area and new growth started coming in! I didn’t purchase this oil with this intention but honey lord knows I love a multitasking product.

The packaging is soooo cute! That was the first thing I noticed about this product. Even the color of the serum is stunning and it’s housed in a thick glass bottle with a dropper. I love the way this oil makes my skin feel; it offers a healthy and hydrated glow.

I can’t do most oils, because my skintype won’t allow, but I’ve successfully worn this a few times with wonderful results. I love the dewy hydration and how quickly it gets to work on my skin. The scent is a little strange, at first, but it grew on me and it doesn’t stick around on the skin.

This is the perfect introductory face oil and I’d recommend it to anyone seeking out the experience for themselves! It’s also a wonderful start to a Herbivore collection and I can’t wait to try more from the brand!.

I believe this product does exactly what it claims and that is to reduce redness. I had some mild rosacea and redness on my cheeks and chin. I’ve always had this, I’ve rarely had any products work well for me and I’ve tried them all.

Im always on the hunt for one. This one reduced my redness by about 70% I’d say which is quite impressive. Maybe more but I’m trying not to over exaggerate. It’s also reduced the red bumps I used to have.

I use it morning and night under my moisturizer which I think is key so it’s touching your bare skin. So I use it as a serum almost. I’m comfortable enough to not wear tinted moisturizer or sunscreen.

My face looks even, I love it! Hopefully it keeps its efficacy. I’m interested to try more from the brand now. I’ve used this for about a week and a half now.

I have sensitive combination skin so oils can cause spots and be too greasy but this soaks straight in and leaves skin looking healthy and well moisturised. I use it before my moisturiser at night and wake up to a glowing complexion 🙂 only a few drops is enough for the whole face so it’ll last some time too! Smells brilliant and all natural, can’t recommend enough!.

Everything about The Wild Rose Skincare Collection is beautiful, the smell, the textures and the feeling it gives my skin! This oil left my skin glowing and no stickiness compared to other oils I have used in the past which is amazing! These products are the perfect combo of products for my dry and sensitive skin in the summer!.

I use this oil on a daily basis and makes my skin feel soft and nourished. Good value too.

Really helps keep my face super soft and from drying out over night. I put a few drops in my last step of my night routine so pay cleanser, hyaluronic acid and serums, retinol, night treatment then at final step mix my peptide moisturiser (about a pea size amount) with two or three drops of squalane (it can be a bit hard to control to exactly one drop).

Recommend when you apply this stuff do NOT rub it in, almost try to glide it across your face without putting pressure on the face or any previous layers will pill off (learned the hard way first time).

I think it’s best applied mixed in the moisturiser rather than straight on the face as it gives less of an oily appearance but will give you a nice almost “glass skin” like dewy look. I haven’t worn makeup for two years so can’t comment if makeup would sit on this or not (probably not).

I had oily skin most all my life, but with age my skin no longer is oily. I do have an occasional breakout though. I started using the Peptide Moisturizer + a few drops of Squalane as my evening moisturizer.

Here during the winter, I am amazed at how good my skin feels in the morning: still soft, not at all dried out from the cold and drying heat. I mix the moisturizer and squalane in my palm before applying.

I tried to layer them separately but did not care for the oily feel of the squalance by itself. Also, no breakouts with this addition.

I feel very torn about leaving this 4 stars instead of 5 but the bottle is horrible. I have wasted so much of the product because it never comes out of the hole correctly. It sort of pours down the side and I end up desperately trying to salvage as much as I can from the side of the bottle as it’s running down.

Since this is an oil and the consistency is liquid, it needs to come with a dropper. The price is fantastic and it’s an amazing product but I will unfortunately not buy it again unless they update the packaging.

I seldom write reviews for anything ever. but this product definitely deserves one. I have always dealt with breakouts and redness problems. I got this product for Christmas and have been using it consistently; three drops in the morning and messaging it into my skin.

I have noticed that my skin looks very smooth, and even-toned throughout the past few weeks. My acne is also slowly diminishing! I love the smell contrary to some reviews. It’s a very natural scent that doesn’t stay all day long which is nice.

Totally recommend :).

I used the True Dew product for combination/oily skin and really liked it so was looking forward to trying the dry skin formula as the weather gets cooler & dryer. I’m really liking this one too. I just use at night over my moisturizer and my skin is so soft and moisturized.

I wasn’t sure if I’d like this scent because I really like the other one with raspberries but it’s a warmer scent of roses but not too strong. Another great Saje product!.

I’m a big fan of face oils and plant-based carrier oils in general because my skin is so dry and under-nourished, but I’ve never tried an oil that’s as rich and luxurious as this one. Not only is it super nurturing and helps to lock in moisture when I use it in the evenings, but it also helps to really brighten and bring my skin to life first thing in the morning.

Ever since I first heard about this new product, I’ve been excited to know that it will include helichrysum, a super premium oil that’s known for it’s ability to help with vitality and signs associated with more dry, mature skin types.

Along with rosehip oil (my favourite plant-based carrier oil for skincare), rose otto, frankincense, and geranium, this oil is beautiful to look at with its golden color and to enhance my skincare routine with it’s super inclusive aroma.

I would love to see this aroma translated into other products because it’s super relaxing, soothing, and comforting – would be a wonderful roll-on for our collection!.

I have only been using thi a few days now but so far I like it. I was super excited to try it out because I’ve been looking for more affordable products with quality sea buckthorn oil! As others have mentioned- the bottle is tiny, I got it to see if I liked it in place of my Coco Kind Watwrmelon Hemp Oil because it’s less expensive but I think I get more the price with that.

Also the size of the bottle makes it’s really annoying to apply- it might just be me but the dropper isn’t super easy to get out and use because it’s so small, for me at least. Other than that I will keep using it and see if I love it enough to repurchase! For the price though I am not mad about trying it out :).
