I tried this SK-II facial treatment cleanser recently and this is my review for the product. The first thing I did was check the ingredients, and I was disappointed to see it contains propylene glycol, and parabens.

For a high end brand I really didn’t expect such low end ingredients and that was a huge letdown. This cleanser is a creamy consistency and a little bit of product is all that is needed. Once you add water to the cream it makes a nice and soft foaming action.

When I use the cleanser my skin felt soft and not overly dried out like some cleansers have left it feeling, however it doesn’t remove makeup very well. I would recommend removing makeup before moving onto this cleanser.

I didn’t have a large enough quantity to see if there was any long term effects in how my skin reacted to if and whether it’s anti-aging claims were effective, but my skin did feel soft and smooth while using this product and it glowed nicely.

Overall, I think this was a decent product and had no real problems with it, but due to the ingredients and quality I probably won’t be using this again.

Was made aware of the Jack Black brand by an insightful salesperson named Jordan at the downtown Portland, OR Nordstrom store. Glad I found a high quality, reasonably priced skincare line to get me through my adult years.

This moisturizer is lightweight, non-greasy, and perfect for someone with combination skin like me. Gets my dry spots quenched, but doesn’t overload my forehead or other problem oil areas. I’ve been so fortunate to have found this brand.

I used this moisturizer a few years ago before switching to another brand. However, after that competing brand changed their formula I came back to Jack Black. First, it’s a smooth, non-thick moisturizer with SPF.

It goes on super easily and packs a double punch with an SPF 20 rating. The SPF is great for my skin and my dermatologist recommends using moisturizers with SPF built in. Second, it has a slight scent to it that is completely wonderful.

It’s not overwhelming at all. I tend to buy the bigger bottle for home and keep a smaller size with me for travel.

I love the product but hate when websites both pester you leave a review but also won’t let you just rate it five stars and move on. I shave my head. Every two days for more than 10 years now, and I have used this lotion that entire time.

It doesn’t burn, it soothes any razor irritation, and my experience has found it extremely effective against sun burn. On more than one occasion I have gotten caught out in very sunny conditions without any regular sunblock.

I would get very concerned about what sort of sun burn I would find when I got home, and been shocked to find none. It seems much more effective as a sun block than the SPF rating would suggest. So – the product is highly recommended, 5 stars, but I hate having to type a whole story no one will ever read.

I’ve used a lot of different face creams. Some were VERY expensive. Some moderately priced. For the money, you can’t beat Weleda’s Moisture Cream for Men. Really makes your face feel fresh. Not greasy at all.

Great moisturiser for my husband, he has sensitif skin and not easy to find a suitable cream for his face. This one altough a bit pricey, but so worth it. The cream absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any residue/ oiliness.

I dug up this picture from 2019 and found several more that I had taken during that time because I recommended this moisturizer to my friends so much. From 2017 to 2019 I only ever used this moisturizer in my skincare routine, and I never regretted it.

It was cooling, soothing, absorbed fabulously, and never felt heavy on my skin, which was congested and dehydrated at the time. Since then my skin’s needs have changed and this gel doesn’t aid me in the way it did.

My preferred delivery method for hyaluronic acid is now The Ordinary’s Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2%. However, I still confidently recommend this gel to friends and family who could benefit from it, and most who’ve tried it have loved it so much that it is now part of their regular routine.

One extremely important thing to note is that any product with hyaluronic acid like this one needs to be applied while the skin is still wet, because the function of hyaluronic acid is to bind to existing water molecules and act as a humectant.

In general it’s better not to dry your skin before using any moisturizer in order to allow it to seal in the moisture. Those who dry their skin before moisturizing also tend to use a washcloth or towel to do so, and unless you literally deep clean these cloths right before each use, they will quickly and easily become breeding grounds for bacteria, and also collect dust and other particles that could irritate your skin or clog your pores.

It pays to understand product usage and your skin type. I have an over-all dryer complexion so I lotion my body daily and moisturize my face every 2-3 days. 1. The product tells the user to utilize AFTER HAVING CLEANSED YOUR FACE.

Not following these steps will result in clogged dirty pores and more acne. 2. You CAN use this product for targeted dry spots you just need to use less. This product, although appears to not contain a lot, goes a long way with just enough to cover your index finger.

You really don’t need a lot or else again, you’re caking your face and over-moisturizing it. This will also cause acne. Maybe if your skin is peeling on your face you may want to use a little extra but otherwise, very little is needed to cover your face.

3. You should not be exfoliating daily. Maybe once a week. If you exfoliate daily then use this product you will get acne. Plain and simple. You’re opening your pores, jamming moisture into them, and NOT expecting acne? Come on now.

Wash your face gently, exfoliate weekly. Moisturize every 2-3 days. Patience is key and you most likely won’t get immediate results from *any* product sold for $30. 4. Results. I could feel a difinitive difference almost immediately.

Product is in fact lightweight and I only needed a 1/4 of a dime size to cover my face. Again, a little goes a long way. I bought this after doing a lot of research and reading reviews from different sources and personally think this product is not as good as its marketing says. I try to take good care of my skin, and was looking for a lightweight moisturizer to switch to.

I bought this and the first thing I noticed was the smell of cheap cosmetic stuff. That typical smell found in pretty much any regular creams or lotions you get at the supermarket. Regardless, I decided to try it out: texture is quite nice, and it absorbs rapidly into your skin.

But I have been using this for about 5 days and got 4 massive pimples, plus my skin still feels dry. I have never experienced a reaction like this with any other product, and I just stopped using it.

I do not know whether it is the same formulation (this one is made in Brazil) but I definitely do not recommend using it. Plus, for the price paid, I could have bought a much better quality moisturizer.

La Mer products have been on my bucket list of high end products that I hoped to try once in my lifetime. So to receive a very nice sized sample of their Emulsion and Creme was more than exciting for me! I could finally see whether this was miracle or myth, a skin care or skin con.

I mean, the price tag on just one ounce is roughly $190! My skin type is mostly dry and over 35 yrs of age. I decided to use the Creme as a nighttime moisturizer. It’s quite rich and thick, which is perfect for soaking into the skin over night- not so perfect in my opinion for wearing under makeup.

It’s light scent was lovely, not overpowering. When I woke up in the morning after applying at night I noticed my face didnt feel as tight and dry And i even woke up- dare I say it- looking dewy! The Emulsion would be my daytime moisturizer.

I knew it would sit well under my makeup at the very least by how light weight it felt and how quickly it absorbed into my skin. I gently patted this under my eyes (as I did the Creme) where I have fine lines and a bit of crepe like texture.

What i noticed right away is that i didnt have to wait twenty minutes before applying my makeup like I normally would with other moisturizers. And when you are always in a rush ro get out of the door any time saved is of the essence and if a product can shave 15 minutes off of my skincare routine THAT is a valuable asset.

I was eager to see how my concealer applied over this as well. Usually despite using eye creams or serums, even those made to help prevent creasing and settling, they don’t live up to their claim or worse the concealer just falls apart over it.

Concealer applications felr smoother, but the real tesr was the dreaded 10x magnifying mirror we all love to hate! If not for this mirror i would not have believed my own eyes. Not a single crease or settling into fine lines! I waited another ten minutes and checked again, as all makeup looks freshly applied after it’s, well, freshly applied! And it really looked amazing! I did the same after I applied my foundation.

Usually i do not wear any moisturizers if I’m wearing foundation (I know, cardinal sin) because they just never seem to mesh well together and I literally end up having to scrub off my entire face and start over.

Not this time! My foundation looked better ans felt better than ever. I decided throughout the day to make it a point to check my concealer and foundation with my pocket sized mirror. I didn’t use any face serum either as I wanted to really test this product out alone and truly I didn’t seem to need any while using this! So not only did it help cut off time from my morning routine but perhaps even an entire extra step altogether! Fast forward a full week of trying this night and day routine and I am a believer in La Mer.

My under eye area looks brighter and smoother, my face looks refreshed in the morning. And most importantly for me, my concealer has never looked better and stayed looking so all day. Not once did I have to wash off my entire face makeup and start over because of the moisturizer making it look cakey or break apart.

But that price tag is still a bit too steep for me at the moment, unfortunately. But at least I now know from experience it is well worth it.

Got my hands on a small pot of Creme de la mer that was good for maybe 5 applications and decided to give it a try, after all there had to be some reason this was recommended so highly to me, right? Unfortunately, just as I expected from a product that lists ‘mineral oil’ so high up in the ingredients list, and a potentially irritating ‘Eucalyptus Oil’ on the list too, I broke out literally on day 2.

The only positive was that it did slightly clear up a dry patch on my right cheek but to be fair I could have achieved that with anything on my dressing table. It sat like an oily film for hours on my face and its a testament to my patience how I didn’t grab the nearest washcloth to remove it with! Gave this to my mum to try (dry/normal skin type) seeing as I still had a bit left in the pot and her feedback was merely an “it’s ok, nothing special”.

Don’t be fooled my the texture of this lotion, it is awesome! I am normally skin type 3 in the summer and 2 in the winter. But I have found in any season this alcohol free lotion is just the best. My skin is hydrated as well as a smoother softer texture! You know a product is working when a man, my fiancŽ, notices! Clinique you got it right with this one, nothing else compares! And another plus, a little goes a long way so great value as well! Just awesome!.

This Clinique Anti-age moisturiser has been my go-to product for several years, now. It’s the ideal post-shave moisturiser. Although the initial cost is on the high side, a little goes a long way. Each tube lasts about 6 weeks.

I like that it’s fragrance free, which means it doesn’t interfere with my aftershave. I rub any residual lotion on my neck and hands. I can’t claim to look 10 years younger, though :-).

I read other reviews and was a little nervous given the mixed recommendations. I really like this product. I use this in combination with the moisture surge product first and this product afterwards.

It absorbs fairly quickly considering how thick the cream is. It is a great gentle moisturizer and my skin does great with it. My skin is still very moisturized at the end of the day and it doesn’t feel heavy or oily.

I like this product. I have horrible psoriasis and use a prescription cream on my face daily. Each night I wash my face with another brands cream face cleanser. I then apply the Dove Men +Care face cream and go to bed.

In the morning I apply my prescription product and later in the day I use the Dove face cream again. It’s not greasy and a little goes a long way. The fragrance is light so it’s not overly scented like other products.

It feels cool and light on my face and absorbs well. My skin needs moisture and this is definitely the product for me. Before I was using hand or body lotion but they were to thick and I would have some breakouts.

Since I started using this face cream I’ve had zero break outs. In face my face looks better. I do agree that to much emphasize is on the sunscreen aspect. It’s nice to have it in it but it wasn’t my deciding factor.

I wish they would come out with a cream face cleanser as I avoid soap base products on my face. A Dove men’s creme face cleanser would be a perfect pairing the body wash is to harsh for me.

Finally, a product for guys that’s not cologne in a soap. I purchased this because I was tired of all those axe body washes and other soap products that were more scents than substance. I would use those body washes and feel like I took a shower in cologne and not really be clean.

Dove is the exception. The scent is pleasant but not as strong a bottle of cologne (that’s what my actual cologne is for though right?). Of course the pluses of any dove soap have been added to Dove Men’s- moisturizing soap (I have eczema and this doesn’t dry out my skin), clean feeling after use, and a line of complimentary products to complete the “get fresh” routine.

OVERALL: Buy it, you wont be disappointed.

To start, my boyfriend had never experienced any problems with his skin, not even when he was a hormonal teenager– but at 29, his face began to flake and dry skin around his mouth and his forehead started to drive him crazy.

I applied each product several days throughout the last few weeks. By using these products, it changed my daily routine which is something that I’m not accustomed to. For more accurate results I would like to apply the product for at least another montth.

I noticed that my skin stayed hydrated throughout the day. Each product went on smoothly without any adverse reactions. My face did not feel sticky or greasy after each application. I do not normally apply any type of skin care products to my face other than facial scrub while in the shower.

Shiseido Total Revitalizer facial skin care products are very new to me so further morning/evening applications would show more noticeable improvement. Before and after photos are shown last. The Total Revitalizer Light fluid, cream and eye products seem to be effective in keeping my facial skin hydrated without feeling greasy afterwards.

My face has felt smoother after using them. I have always been told that I do not look like I’m 60. Once I use these products longer, I may be told I look even younger. All in all I would say that the total revitalizer products I have used seem to aid in keeping my face in better shape than without their use.

I would definitely recommend that them to others.

Alright. let’s talk about the Total Revitalizer Cream from Shiseido Men! For me, this cream works very well, and I was able to incorporate it into my existing wet shaving/skincare routine, post-shower and before bed.

Usually after a shower, I’ll use a toner (from another brand, sorry Shiseido!), then the Total Revitalizer Light Fluid, THEN this. I found its best use at night during warmer months (rather than during the day when stepping out in the sunlight), but have a feeling this will take center stage during the cooler months/winter time.

The product also works as a protective post-shave balm, and I began using it that way recently after a shave with my razor. It works extremely well in hydrating/comforting the skin after a close shave, especially with such a small amount needed! While I’d find myself reaching for the Total Revitalizer Light Fluid no matter what, this would work right afterwards, and on days when I shave too, which are days that I do not use the Light Fluid.

Hopefully this review helps, and if you’re on the fence (due to the cost), know that if you shave 2x’s a week or more, and have normal to dry skin, this works well for me, so the Total Revitalizer Cream may work well for you.

The Shiseido Total Revitalizer line for Men targets anti-aging concerns and my husband has several: wrinkles, dullness, roughness, and loss of firmness. His skin is normal with a bit of hyperpigmentation and dark under under eye circles with occasional puffiness.

The Total Revitalizer Cream keeps his skin very well hydrated, leaving his skin what I would consider normal-oily. The cream is not greasy and it absorbs quickly into the skin, it is simply very hydrating.

He applies religiously every night and after a few weeks, he has noticed an overall increase in hydration with no breakouts. When used with the Light Fluid and Eye Cream, as well as his preferred serum, he has noticed a very slight plumping of his find lines and a bit of brightening, less dullness, and his skin texture isn’t as rough, though with continued use, he is hoping his roughness will lessen even more.

For those with oily skin already, I would definitely look elsewhere. I think this cream would be best for those with dry to dry normal skin due to its boost in hydration.

Wow! This moisturiser is really great! So for over 3 years I’ve had dry skin on my face along with some acne scars which was horrible! So first I bought the face lotion and the invigorating face wash and used both for almost a month and only seen a bit of moisturizing on my skin.

Bought the age fighting moisturizer about 2 weeks ago because I’ve read that the difference between lotion and moisturizers is the oil quantity to moisturize deeper. Basically lotion is best suited for people with normal to perfect skin while moisturizers are for dry skin to perfect skin.

Finally, my original skin tone is light brown but I was always kinda pale because I haven’t used lotion over 6 years because I’ve never found it necessary. I only stick with drinking water and thought that’ll be it, but it was not.

Now 2 weeks with this moisturizer and my skin is back to light brown and no dryness anywhere! Thank God! I didn’t know a moisturizer will be so powerful! I’ve once even been given a dermatologist card at work by a costumer to visit them because my skin conditions was really bad.

Now, my skin is back to normal and even diminished the look of my acne scars a bunch! It even reduced my forehead fine lines by 50% I must say! I’m going to keep using this moisturizer and with the face wash for many years to come! Very pleased with this product!.

Generally aircon in the office would dry my skin. I found that there was a noticeable reduction in dry skin between my eyebrows and side of nose. The consistency of moisturiser was fine and easily applied to the face.

When I trimmed round my beard with razor, the skin did not become irritated like some other balms. I did notice that if I applied in the morning after a shower and left for work, my face was a little damp and I felt cold with the wind.

But I may just need to give more time to apply before leaving the house. Generally the smell was pleasant and not overpowering. The smell did not conflict with deodorant or aftershave. I have a small amount left after using day and night, I am going to give it another few days before I decide if I would continue as part of my morning and night routine.

From what I have experienced so far, I think I might start to look for this item mainly because its not just a moisturiser but after shave balm of sorts.

I used the moisturizer for approx 10 days and liked it but didnt love it. Theres definitely a cooling effect for a short while after applying the moisturiser which I liked as it makes you feel fresh.

The moisturiser is easily spreadable and a little bit can go a long way which is good. After applying, it almost feels like if you were to touch your face it would be mildly sticky, but this is not the case, it dries fast without any stickiness or oilyness.

So overall I like the product, although the biggest negative for me is the fragrance. Didn’t like the scent, particularly as it clashes with any other fragrance you might be wearing and being on your face you can smell it all day long.

So definitely would prefer if it were fragrance free.

I used it for several days now after showering and before heading out to face this harsh weather! The product absorbs into the skin easily & not oily like a lot of similar products. It’s went on nice and smooth and smelled nice as the scent is not too overpowering and it felt good after application too.

My skin was softer. It is a product I would recommend especially for those facing the harsh outdoor environment daily – at minimum to keep your skin hydrated. Great for the winter when the skin is really dry being a moisturizer and surly during summer since it contains SPF 15 so it is a double bonus for all seasons! hopefully after multiple usage it can reduce a few worry lines from my face.

I usually use the Jack Black oil free moisturizer, but found I was looking oily by mid day, so I though I’d try this. It was terrible – sat on top of my skin and immediately made me incredibly oily, almost sweaty.

I noticed it within minutes and ended up washing it off. Straight to the garbage.

I have very oily acne prone skin. I have used this product for about 3-4 years. One tube lasts me more than a few months and I use a good amount every morning. This is the only thing I’ve found to matte my skin!! It works great.

I have worn this under makeup when my acne was really bad and I washed my face, put on this moisturizer, then liquid concealer, then power, then any highlighter and blush. It’s a great foundation for makeup.

Just let it dry fully before makeup (takes no more than a minute). It keeps my face so matte and really calms down my skin. Now I almost never have any breakouts.

I shower at least twice a day, and sweat a lot in sport so find that my skin gets a little dry. This stuff is perfect for it. You don’t need a lot of this on your face, but with it you’ll get: (1) just enough grease-less moisture to plump up dry skin and somehow leave it feeling richer, if that makes sense; (2) a really nice, subtle lingering scent; and (3) moisture that last throughout the day so you don’t see any dry, flaky areas develop.

I used to always try to buy oil-free moisturizers and this was my first venture away from it. I was concerned it would give me some plugged pores, but I’m about 2/3 through the bottle and have had no such problems from it.

Really happy with this purchase.

I was on the hunt for a vegan and cruelty free dupe for my Cetaphil moisturizer and was excited to find this. I have been eyeing it for months but was concerned the apple fruit extract or whatever it is would be an issue.

After recovering from an irritant contact dermatitis from a heavily fragranced sunscreen I decided to give this a try, thinking to myself “Hey, at least there’s no fragrance or essential oils in it. ” One tiny botanical ingredients might not be a big deal.

I received my product after much excitement to see FRAGRANCE listed on the ingredients list. Fragrance is not listed on the ingredients list on the website, but they only show you it has it when you have already bought it.

I decided to use it because I was excited and desperate for it to work. It burned for 20 minutes, but was very hydrating and my skin felt soft. I prayed for a miracle and woke up to red splotches on my forehead and cheeks.

Looks like I’m back to square one with my skin again. Look, I’m not a Karen by any means. I admired this company’s philosophy, but I felt misled by the lack of transparency. If I knew this had fragrance I would have never bought it.

Fortunately, it’s a really inexpensive product, but the principle of it bothered me a lot. They put even on the bottle “check out website to see what fragrance compounds are used. ” or something like that.

I spent 15 minutes looking and can’t find any information on this website. The whole thing just really has made me sad. I will have to keep looking for a vegan and cruelty free (and fragrance free) brand.

HUGE Bravo Sierra Fan here!! After they graciously allowed me to participate in the “Battalion T&E” I’ve been hooked on their gear! *This will start all my Reviews! * Prior to their Face Moisturizer I was using their Face Sunscreen w SPF 30, which I thought was a tad thin.

However, I see they put some work into this item, because it’s the perfect consistency and doesn’t run off your hand prior to applying it to your face. I now keep a tube in each bathroom, in both truck and car, and as seen in pics, a couple Back-Ups tubes as well.

For a man, the face moisturizer is fantastic. The consistency, not filmy, and great scent. What I have to learn is a little from Alpha Sierra goes a long way, I have to learn to use less. Not using less is not a bad thing!! I highly recommend this product.

This is a good hydrating cream very inexpensive. I use on my hands and face. Hydrates very well. Goes on light and smooth. No greasy feel after. Little to no smell. If your looking for a cheap cream this is your go to.

Recommend to family and friends.

I bought this product, which I have used for years. I thought it was a pump top but instead it was in a flat type container with a lid. You have to dig it out and it smears all over your hand. Just not practical or easy to use.

This was probably my fault, but I would NEVER have purchased it if I had realized it was not the pump top.

I got this for my husband to try and he loves it! It has a masculine scent which I personally love but he likes it too! Not too strong, but enough. He uses it after the shower and says how much it moisturizes his skin.

My go to lotion in the winter time. Dealing with dry skin is a pain. This product makes my life a million times simpler by being able to rely on it for daily moisturization. No more dry skin to worry about.

Simple product for a simple guy just trying to get by.

I bought this for my partner to encourage skincare. It smells so so so strong of that cliche ‘mens smell’ and to me doesn’t seem to be doing much at all. I tried it myself. Overall overpriced gimmick.

Firstly, I use Clarins men exclusively for years now and this will be my first under 5 star review. I noted that the Super Moisture Balm and Gel are still advertised, the lady at WW East Rand Mall said when I asked where those products are that this Super Moisture Lotion SPF replaced both (as they weren’t stocked) – extremely e shocked I picked up one of these.

In short this product flakes around my hair line and beard and looks a lot like dry scalp or dandruff and the like. I supplement my use of Moisturizers with a degree of SPF depending on the day’s work (range:30-50).

I’ve been forced to use SPF20 in the South African sun and cannot stack other producrs onto it as this results in blocked pores. This is a disappointing product in my opinion and will definitely not buy it again.

I hope the other two products without SPF are still in the market and I’ve been misinformed. I will update this review with a few photos.
