Use it to instantly quench and provide long-lasting moisture relief for your extra-dry skin. This gel-cream facial moisturizer helps quench extra-dry skin and keeps it looking smooth, supple, and hydrated day after day.
The unique gel-cream formula absorbs quickly like a gel, and has the long lasting moisturizing power of a cream. It is formulated with hyaluronic acid, which is naturally found in the skin.
Neutrogena has always made some of the best and affordable skin care products! But this one right here is in my opinion one of the best formulated moisturizers out in the market, PERIODD! The entire Hydro Line from neutrogena has some of the most amazing products but this one in particular just hits different.
After 1 use of this product I felt seen the amazing benefits this gel cream has to offer. It actually made me excited to apply my tedious skin care routine. But knowing I just added this gel cream to my day regimen sparked joy I couldn’t get to my bathroom sink fast enough.
Since using this moisturizer especially before make up application my skin has a natural glow within. I also have combo -oily skin and this product definitely helps with that. Bonus another reason I needed to try was of course the hyaluronic acid in this formula.
Since using religiously my skin has a noticeable difference of brightness hydration. Theres a very light and undetectable sent to it but the scent to this cream smells clean gets me excited every use.
It is a light and oil-free facial cream. Hydrates skin with powerful hydrating ingredients, but no greasy residue. Contains hyaluronic acid (a powerful moisturizer that’s holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water, keeping skin puffy and hydrated); dimethicone and glycerin (maintain the skin’s moisture barrier so water doesn’t evaporate faster than it can be reabsorbed).
It has a pleasantly aquatic scent and its instantly absorbed. Gel formulas have quickly earned a reputation as the perfect moisturizer for people who don’t like moisturizer; people with oil skins are fans because gels don’t feel greasy.
But this one is also great for sensitive and dry skin. It can be applied several times a day without looking like the product is building and clogging the pores. And while it leaves skin fully hydrated, it also dries to a slightly dewy finish, making it ideal for use under makeup.
I’ve been asked what highlighter I’m wearing and I don’t really wear highlighter, it’s JUST THIS PRODUCT. It makes me look truly radiant.
I bought this after doing a lot of research and reading reviews from different sources and personally think this product is not as good as its marketing says. I try to take good care of my skin, and was looking for a lightweight moisturizer to switch to.
I bought this and the first thing I noticed was the smell of cheap cosmetic stuff. That typical smell found in pretty much any regular creams or lotions you get at the supermarket. Regardless, I decided to try it out: texture is quite nice, and it absorbs rapidly into your skin.
But I have been using this for about 5 days and got 4 massive pimples, plus my skin still feels dry. I have never experienced a reaction like this with any other product, and I just stopped using it.
I do not know whether it is the same formulation (this one is made in Brazil) but I definitely do not recommend using it. Plus, for the price paid, I could have bought a much better quality moisturizer.
Cetaphil Facial Hydrating Lotion is a gentle, yet powerful facial moisturizer that rehydrates skin, boosting moisture reserves for lasting hydration. Infuses skin with the intense hydrating benefits of Hyaluronic Acid and powerful humectants.
It’s okay. I was honestly really disappointed in this face moisturizer from Cetaphil. I got it both with and without sunscreen and it was just really watered-down feeling, smelled weird, and sat on top of my skin.
I bought it when I started Accutane because of the convenient size, added SPF, and also due to my great experience with the Cetaphil cleansers. I ended up returning the first one and currently need to return this one with SPF.
It made my skin look and feel so oily, didn’t actually help with my dry skin much, and the smell even overpowered my perfume! I was driving with my boyfriend and we were searching for the bad smell for 20 minutes until we realized it was this moisturizer.
I love Cetaphil, but I don’t love this moisturizer.
This is a very light weight cream. Feels rather water based which is great for my combination acne prone skin. I also have very sensitive skin with eczema on my nose. It does not irritate me or inflame my eczema at all.
It hydrates my skin very well for day time use. I don’t notice any fragrance and nothing burns so that’s a huge plus. Highly recommend for day time use. I wouldn’t recommend this for night time use as I try to go for a heavier cream for night time routine.
If you’re like me that needs deep hydration for overnight then this does not do the trick.
At first, I liked this product very much because its texture is fluid and absorbed very fast, also I felt that I had made a good purchase because it included hyaluronic acid, but after using it several days I realized that it is not enough.
My skin needs something more moisturizing than this. At first, I used only one poof, then two poofs and considered increasing it to three poofs, but I wanted the product to last longer so I didn’t.
Finally, I ended up using two poofs in the day and two at night, but I think there are better moisturizers that better fulfill their function for a reasonable price. I feel sorry because it is a good brand and its products are good, but this was not the case for me.
Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Cream is a rich anti-aging moisturizer that feeds skin with plumping hydration and antioxidant-packed Japanese purple rice for a dewy, healthy glow. Ideal for dry skin, but can be used on combination skin for those who prefer a richer texture.
This product has quickly become a holy grail for me. I purchased my first, and went with the Limited Edition Gratitude Size (2. 5 fl oz) and within a week, knew I needed to buy a second! The packaging is very attractive periwinkle blue accented by pretty purple flowers with a gold product scoop and scoop holder on the cap.
When you take off the cap, there is a protective reusable plastic insert with a convenient tab for ease of removal. The cream itself is also a lovely shade of light blue. The scent is very herbal and pleasant.
This moisturizer is amazing for extremely dry skin like mine. Nutrient-rich Japanese Purple Rice provides antioxidants to help protect skin and restore balance. Okinawa Algae and hyaluronic acid help skin retain water to stay moisturized and nourished while replenishing the skins barrier, and a lovely blend of botanical extracts and oils help enhance and moisturize skin while providing a beautiful, dewy glow.
I have extremely dry skin, especially in the harsh mean winters. I have been searching high and low for a good face cream that doesn’t irritate my skin but truly provides deep nourishment and moisture.
The Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream checks all of those boxes and is also a certified clean and cruelty-free product. I am able to use this product in the morning by applying a light layer before putting on makeup, and it helps keep my skin and makeup from forming dry patches throughout the day.
At night, I apply a slightly thicker layer before bed, but a tiny bit goes a LONG way! The little scoop they provide allows you to pick up the perfect amount to cover face, neck, décolletage, and the back of the hands as well! The ONLY reason I have marked this four stars instead of five is because of the price: though I feel the Gratitude size is worth it, I feel that Tatcha products are over-priced in general.
Another point I would like to include is that this product is not for everyone because I know that the scents and some of the ingredients can be too harsh for some people, especially those with extremely sensitive skin.
My skin feels so good and soft since using the Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Moisturizer. I have tried different moisturizers over the past couple years with never results like this as I would have irritation as the different lines would be either too rich, have properties that would cause breakouts or even worse dry my skin out even more.
My skin has changed in the past five years from oily combination screen to dry rosacea break outs and some fine lines. I tried the cleanser from this line with the combination of this moisturizer but found the cleanser stripped moisturizer from my skin so for me it was not a good combination.
My skin was just ok but didn’t feel great and felt dry. I really loved this moisturizer though and knew there must be a cleanser that is milder but yet soothing for my acne rosacea skin that would be complimentary with this moisturizer.
I lucked out as after experimenting using CeraVe SA cleanser and the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream moisturizer found it was a winning combination. Must be the ceramides & salicylic acid in the cleanser that keeps the skin blemish free.
The Tatcha moisturizer works beautifully after I cleanse my skin as it gives the bonus moisturizing plumping properties. My husband complimented my skin and and that made me feel so good that it is noticeable.
I’m happy as my skin feels healthy and youthful again.
Tatchas Dewy Skin Moisturizer is my holy grail skincare necessity! Unlike most other moisturizers the Tatcha Dewy Skin Moisturizer seeps deep into your skin instead of just sitting on top on top of it! The product itself is so silky smooth and easy to apply! I’ve truly NEVER used a moisturizer that actually works ALL DAY LONG.
No reapplying on dry spots or flaking skin just true Dewy, Plump and Hydrated skin! I can’t live without it! The packaging is just elegant and beautiful and stays true to its roots. The product itself is also this beautiful pastel purple color.
Tatcha has truly hit the ball out of the park with this moisturizer. Actually that goes for every single one of the Dewy Skin products Tatcha has come up with! I use my moisturizer after washing with the Dewy Skin Facewash.
The prices can seem a little steep at first, well compared to other “luxury brands” Tatcha products are actually not overly priced at all! Thats besides the fact, I’m trying to tell you it is asolutly 100% without a doubt worth EVERY SINGLE LAST PENNY.
Ladies as you can tell I could talk about this Tatcha Dewy Skincare line all day long! Just try it! Tatchas website actually sells little sample packs with the moisturizer and facewash in it! Only $25 bucks I believe and they are large sample sizes! Check out there website! Let me know what you think! To me there is nothing more beautiful about a women then beautiful, hydrated, dewy skin and this moisturizer achieves exactly that!.

I am 54 years old and this has been a nice lotion to use on my face. I loved it even more when Clinique created the ID line to enhance the Dramatically different line. The moisturizing lotion is very hydrating but as I’ve gotten older and started developing some lines and wrinkles, it really doesn’t do much to firm the skin, but it does hydrate nicely.
I have tried Clinique’s serums and wrinkle correcting creams, but they are so harsh and strong on my face, so when they came out with the ID line for lines and wrinkles I was very happy to try it and pleasantly surprised how wonderful it worked.
It did not irritate my skin and I could visibly see a very noticeable reduction in the lines and wrinkles on my face. It was a total game changer and I just loved it! It gently firmed my skin without irritating it and I was absolutely devastated when I went to replenish my Dramatically Different lotion and ID product for lines and wrinkles, only to find out that the ID line has been discontinued!! So far two things that I love from Clinique that are gentle but truly work, have been discontinued just in the last few months.
Clinique also discontinued the Smart Night Custom Repair Cream which was very gentle on my skin. What are you doing Clinique? Why are you discontinuing products that actually work??? Please bring back the ID line for lines and wrinkles.
It is such a wonderful product that is gentle and works. Not everybody can use your new recently launched Smart Clinical line. I have used Clinique for over 25 years and I have always been happy to try your new products, but this new Smart line in the purple containers are way to harsh.
I am so disappointed that you discontinued the ID line for lines and wrinkles. Please consider bringing it back again.
I’ve been using this moisturizer for the past 30 years. I consider it more along the lines of a slightly richer “emulsion”, for those of you who are familiar with Japanese/Korean beauty routines. What is standout about this moisturizer is it’s absorption.
It doesn’t sit on top of your skin. I have dry, combination skin and I put it on after softener. It really does keep your skin moisturized and it’s very lightweight. You don’t need much and it’s fragrance free, and hypoallergenic-as I have sensitive skin and can react very badly to fragrance.
You need to let it set in and absorb for a couple of minutes, but afterwards it’s easy to apply sunscreen. I find many sunscreens drying to I always play this before. Also, it’s the perfect way to protect your skin when you’re training your face to accept retinol.
You moisturize with this then out the retinol afterwards and it really helps to help with redness and flaking while still getting the benefits of your retinoid. It’s also amazing for thinning out your foundation and getting it to absorb into your skin to look more like a no make-up make-up look.
I don’t find foundations moisturizing even when they say they are, and mixing it with the Clinique helps with that plus it gives you a very natural application. If you have a face powder and need a quick foundation, mixing this moisturizer with a bit of powder gives you a really nice moisturizing sheer cover.
It’s an amazing makeup remover, I’ve used it to take off my eye makeup when I’ve run out of remover, and I like it because it leaves the skin moist. So, I can’t say enough good things. It has stood the test of time for me and I use different and heavier moisturizers and creams but I always use this as an emulsion in my routine.
Years ago, when ever I went on a plane I always treated myself to the Clinique Moisturiser and loved it. So when QVC launched Clinique I was very excited. People always say how lovely my skin is for a 59 year old, I take the time to look after it with premium skincare and using advice from Alison Young, so to be honest I didn’t expect very much of a change.
I have put all my other skincare away, including my JW neck cream, I have restricted myself to the three step Clinique and my Liz Earle Drops and my Vit C serum and my JW nectar eye cream. I started using the system two days ago, morning and night adding the using drops and serum and eye cream and wow, my skin has improved, my neck is much smoother and when I wake up no lines on my chest.
My face skin hasn’t changed much, but does seem more luminous. So I have just ordered myself another set. This is definitely the skincare range for me. I know that people are saying that the Stage 2 is harsh, but believe me, I have dry, sensitive skin and my skin hasn’t had any reaction to it at all.
What a wonderful, quick and easy skin routine that makes your skin look wonderful. I am absolutely thrilled to have found something that has shocked my skin to another level and will continue to use this wonderful range.
Thank you QVC and Clinique for bringing this to me at an affordable price and on three easy pays to boot, I am one very happy customer.

Reviews From Real Customers
I have ultra sensitive, reactive and acne prone skin with occasional eczema flare ups and I learned the hard way that, contrary to FAB’s claims, this moisturizer is not meant for skin like mine. I bought it a few years ago and almost immediately after applying it for the first time, I felt a tingling, then burning sensation, across almost my entire face; my skin then flushed red and felt warm to the touch.
A few painful minutes later, I had to wash my face and apply my regular moisturizer because the reaction didn’t fade. I tried it again a few days later but experienced the same thing. I even bought this again a few months ago, thinking I must have done something wrong because so many people love it, but no; I had the same reaction this time as well.
Because I’ve had very sensitive skin almost all my life, I know which ingredients to avoid based on past reactions but I blame myself for accepting the brand’s claims and not checking the ingredients list carefully.
Had I done so, I wouldn’t have purchased this all as this contains eucalyptus oil, a fragrant essential oil that serves no purpose other than to cause irritation. While not everyone will react to essential oils, they’ve caused some of the worst reactions I’ve had and they don’t belong in products made specifically for those with sensitive skin.
Either FAB needs to stop claiming this is a moisturizer that even the most sensitive, distressed and eczema prone skin can use OR remove the eucalyptus oil altogether. I personally don’t recommended this moisturizer at all but, for those that do want it, I suggest patch testing, at the very least.
I’m so glad I bought a tester/sample size. It has silicone in it, so it will pill- especially if you use any other products that have silicone. Even with the most simple routines, no actives and just a serum or an oil it pills.
A lot. Creates this gunk on your cheeks and jawline mixing with other ingredients in your routine. I keep it pretty ‘clean’ when it comes to my products and nothing else I use makes my face sticky, pill or any of that annoying stuff.
This product though? I rarely experience it not pilling or, worse, turning into sludge just after using a couple of my pricey products that I feel are almost wasted when I use this over them. Especially when you’re paying a dollar or more per ml, would rather go a superior brand with cleaner ingredients.
I just bought kiehls ultra because I’ve enjoyed that in the past. I bought this because I have dry, sensitive skin. I need lots of moisture. I’ve found it’s best to rely on more than just a moisturiser for the amount of moisture I need so I incorporate face oils – especially in cooler months – like rose hip, vitamin e oils and I’ve just bought face hero so will be back with a review on that.
I usually really struggle in winter but the face oils with a good moisturiser, regular hyaluronic acid use and not going overboard with actives is key for me.
After a long and very expensive search for the perfect moisturizer, I finally found it with this product! I put my skin through h*ll and back last year which resulted in an acne rosacea flare up, followed by a bad case of hormonal acne (which was the result of another issue in my life).
Saw a derm because I was miserable and she prescribed azelaic acid. So my routine has been Inkey List Salicyclic Acid cleanser, azelaic acid foam, and FAB Ultra Repair Cream! At the beginning the cleanser and AA really dried out my skin, but using this moisturizer really balanced everything out to where I can use them both AM & PM with no problem whatsoever.
Not to mentioned it really calms down any redness or sensitivity (from wearing uncomfortable masks all day). And if there’s ever a night where I feel I need to lock in some more hydration I’ll use the Elta MD intense moisturizer on top of this one (as recommended by my derm.
) So yeah, this moisturizer feels so perfect in my routine. In the AM though, I do have to wait for it to sink in and dry down before I apply sunscreen. It will pill if I apply sunscreen on directly after using the moisturizer.
(I use EltaMD UV Clear Tinted) I’ve also only ever used this during winter time, so I’m curious to see how it will perform during warmer months! For further reference, I have sensitive, combo skin and hormonal acne.
But honestly, this moisturizer has helped balance out my skin so much that it feels normal, no excessive oiliness or dryness anywhere.
Nourishing moisturiser. For all skin types. Embryolisse Lait-Crme Concentr is a rich moisturising lotion. A creamy lotion that is really three products in one: the make-up artists use it as a primer, moisturiser and make-up remover.
It also reduces irritation after shaving! A real beauty secret, favoured by dermatologists for decades; a combination of ingredients of natural origin, rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins. Provides the skin with all the nutrients and water needed for its balance, and accelerates cell renewal.
Moisturises, nourishes and repairs, the skin becomes supple. It is plumped, smoothed, and incredibly soft. Signs of dryness and discomfort disappear. Embryolisse Lait-Crme Concentr’s creamy milk texture leaves a satin film, even on dry skin.
The skins surface is softer and more radiant and revitalised. Size: 2. 54 oz.
Embryolisse is an absolute favorite of mine for all things skincare. I have tried their sensitive skin moisturizer and love it, but this is the richer concentrated cream, which I am currently using and have fallen in love with.
I especially like the simplicity of Embryolisse cream – from the color-coded, non-gimmicky packaging, to the natural, tried and true ingredients – shea butter, aloe vera, soy proteins. This is another multi-tasker, that can be used as a primer as well as a moisturizer and makes a great base for make-up and can also be applied slightly more generously as a mask.
It does not have a very thick texture but is fairly fluid making it easy to absorb into the skin. At the same time, it still manages to be a very rich cream, so even my dry skin feels really moisturized, supple and soft, and I can achieve this result very quickly because it goes on so easily.
This makes it a great cream for both morning and night. Unlike the sensitive version, the concentrate has a mild floral scent, probably jasmine, which I really like. Those who react to scents might prefer the unscented product.
I am glad we are seeing more of Embryolisse in Australia; it is a really lovely French brand – they do seem to nail the skincare- and although it is not the cheapest out there at about $41, it is certainly more affordable than many others and actually delivers results.
I was also pleased to learn that it is cruelty-free (although not vegan) which is reassuring and means I can purchase again with a clear conscience!.

This is great for dry and sensitive skin, I love this for winter time. Definitely heavy enough to keep dry patches away. Would recommend this to all.
I’ve been on the lookout for a simple straightforward moisturizer without any bells and whistles. My skin is finally where I want it to be: skin tone has evened out, dark spots are faded, fine lines diminished, pores clear and small.
I have been looking for a moisturizer without any extras; no sunscreen, no fragrance, no hyaluronic acid, no Retinol — just something to maintain the current condition off my skin. I was so excited when I saw this on the shelf.
I bought it immediately and I put it on as soon as I got in my car. It absorbed quickly and evenly; it felt very light and there was no shine. A short time later, my skin looked hydrated and healthy.
I been searching for a facial lotion since 2016. Finally found one. I have really sensitive skin. Lots of creams burn my face. This one feels excellent on my face and moisturizes it. My face does NOT feel dry or powdery after I use this, it feels smooth.
People who are complaining it’s burning their skin who already use the Aveeno maybe you guys used another product on your face that causing it to burn. This product is the best. I’ve tried the mall store brands too.

Gave my confidence back and I feel like it saved my life. I’ve never had skin problems, so imagine at 41 how I freaked out as I woke up one morning and out of nowhere my face, legs, buttocks, arms, back, breast and stomach were all inflamed and itching uncontrollably.
For days I used calamine lotion and other topicals to stop the itching and flare ups. Washed everything and cleaned the entire room. About 4 days later I finally stopped itching and now everywhere the flare ups were, there were now dark black patches.
Days later they started developing on my face and dark circles underneath my eyes. My entire forehead and both cheeks were tight and shiny like leather. The feel was completely different from the other spots all over my body.
I was at a loss for words. No idea where this came from but it had to be some allergic reaction. I had just gotten over pneumonia that lasted 2 months. So maybe this was a side effect. I’ve read that some rare cases cause skin condition but why the week I was cleared from having it.
So maybe that wasn’t it! Anyway I applied lotion 3-4 times a day and Vaseline numerous times a day only to have small relief from the chaffing and tightness of the spots last only about 2 hours. Valentine’s weekend my fiancé had planned a vacation to Orlando, little does he know I wanted to cancel.
I was afraid the sun and hear would only make it worse and afraid that he would look at me differently. I reluctantly went alone using Vaseline on my face every few hours and kept my body covered wearing pants.
After 3 days, I said that’s enough I have to do something about this that’s different. Had him to stop by Walmart and went in and analyzed the products. Googled as I was in the store and settled on Cerave Moisturizing Cream and Cerave healing ointment.
Went to the hotel room a shower and applied the ointment to my face and Moisturizing Cream on my body. Telecaster again that night and the next morning you wouldn’t believe the difference it made. Plus it lasted for hours.
I continued this regimen and 30 hours later the leather on my face was no longer there it was only a small amount of chaff. My body was also healing and the dry patches weren’t nearly as dry. I continued for 3 more days and my face was now completely normal, so I switched to using the moisturizing cream with just a dab of ointment on my face for a couple more days then resulted to just Moisturizing Cream for my face and body.
2 weeks later, I’ve still seen nothing but improvements and my skin clearing up. The old skin where all the dark spots were and chaffed spots are now almost completely peeled and replaced with new skin.
Healthy, radiant and bright like before. I will continue using Cerave and researching their other products and see what’s the best way to maintain even after I’m completely in the clear from this. Cerave has given me the confidence I needed back and I am a lifetime supporter!.
To preface, I’m a 19yo female with normal skin that leans more dry in the winter and oily in the summer. I am acne prone and have recently finished six months of an acne medication. I have used this before and during my treatment, and will continue to use it as long as it’s made! When I’m doing my skincare, I typically alternate between using a salicylic acid toner, a retinol, a niacinamide serum, and a hyaluronic acid serum (depending on what my skin needs).
If I’m using my toner, I apply the toner to clean, dry skin and then apply this moisturizer on top. If I’m using my retinol or either serum, I mix them into this moisturizer and apply it as one concoction onto damp skin.
When I’m moisturizing my body, I apply it while my body is still wet coming out of the shower. I also use this moisturizer as a prep for my makeup! Overall, I absolutely love this moisturizer! It is basic in a good way! It has a gentle, non-scented formula that I can use on my face and body.
It looks great under makeup and always keeps my skin hydrated. This moisturizer sinks in perfectly without leaving behind a greasy, oily, or sticky residue. My skin can also breath through this moisturizer, which I’ve never found in a moisturizer that simultaneously checks my other boxes! Another great feat, it’s drugstore pricing in simple/functional packaging.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for a classic moisturizer!.
Amazing cream! I use this in place of a night cream or on days that my skin feels dry and needs an extra boost. It’s highly moisturising and non irritating, which is perfect for sensitive skin. Love that there is no unnecessary added fragrance either.
Can be used on both your body and face. It’s one of those products that actually does what it says and works so much better than high end products. If you follow Dr Dray on Youtube then you will already know that she also recommends this cream a lot as well, especially for people using retinoids.
I’ve been applying it alongside my Differin gel to combact dryness from it’s use. After washing my face, I rub in a thin layer of this cream onto my damp skin (to lock in moisture) and follow with Differin after it’s dry.
Using it in this way as suggested by Dr Dray reduces the risk of irritation, but still allows the retinoid to be effective. Even if you are using it on it’s own, the Cerave Cream will work brilliantly to soothe and soften your dry skin.
It has great ingredients including ceramides which improve skin hydration. I have dehydrated combination skin and this has helped so much to repair my skin barrier along with following a good skincare routine.
With an ultra-nourishing formula, designed to drench the complexion in hydration, the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream is ideal for dry or lacklustre skin types. The multifaceted face cream helps to support the skin’s acid mantle or skin barrier, while providing defence against everyday environmental stressors.
Formulated with a pH of 5. 2, the formula features six African oils, alongside a plant ceramide complex to help protect and nourish the skin. Star ingredient marula oil offers an intensive moisture boost, while sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer works to minimise the appearance of fine lines.
Rich yet lightweight, the cream promotes a fresh, bright visage. Vegan and cruelty-free.
I received this product free from Influenster and Drunk Elephant in exchange for my honest review. First of all I do have to say I’m a bit disappointed with the ml/oz of the trial/sample size of the moisturizer cream, but in all fairness I guess that would make this $6, having taken into consideration that a 50 ml container prices out at $60.
Now with that out of the way, this whipped cream moisturizer is very smooth and rich helping your skin feel softer and more rejuvenated. Likewise, this cream is truly good for all skin types, whether you have combination skin, excessive oil, or even dryness…This cream helps all to achieve a healthy pH, whilst also fighting against aging and helping to restore overall elasticity and moisture.
Furthermore, while I do appreciate Drunk Elephant’s commitment to NOT using unnecessary ingredients, focusing on only the direct benefit to the skin, I would definitely appreciate some sort of scent.
I have read TONS of complaints in regards to this very bland, Play Doh like smell that can be a little off putting. I’m certain that Drunk Elephant can find something natural that can also even serve as a beneficial ingredient to help the overall aroma and vibe that this whipped cream moisturizer gives.
Perhaps Lemon? Coconut? Thankyou Drunk Elephant for the opportunity to test your product.
I love Drunk Elephant and it kills me to give this one only 2 stars. But for the price, I recommend Drunk Elephant Protini! During the winter, I wanted something more hydrating, so I decided to get this product.
I love the no dyes, perfumes, and bad stuff in this product line. I have sensitive skin and appreciate the clean products. The container is really neat and makes sure that you use all the product with the pump.
There is still a tiny amount of product left, open the container and use your finger to get every last drop. Again, LOVE Protini, but I have oily but dehydrated skin and just need extra help in winter.
I thought let’s do a comparison on my skin. I applied Protini on one side of my face, and LaLa on the other. Protini is a better moisturizer for my skin. I feel the Protini side is more plumped and hydrated.
This is a good product, but not for my slightly dehydrated skin. I started to apply marula oil first and then Protini to get more hydration and that really works for me.

To me, this is a great, and cost-effective dupe for a well-known dermatologist-recommended spf for acne-prone skin (this other product happens to be spf 46 and rhymes with “delta”). True, this only has spf 30, but aside from that the products look and feel the same.
They are both hybrid zinc oxide/chemical sunscreens and they both heavily feature niacinamide as a star ingredient. The more expensive spf has lactic acid and instead this Cerave AM moisturizer has ceramides.
Honestly, I’ll take the ceramides over the lactic acid because I don’t need my moisturizer/sunscreen to exfoliate – I’d rather it protect my skin which the ceramides will contribute to. So again, I think the only thing better about the more expensive product is the spf level 46.
But for the price difference I don’t think it’s worth it and I would also only use both as “daily” spfs anyway, not for heavy-duty outdoor activites. As for this AM moisturizer, to me it really is more like a sunscreen with some moisturizing properties, but it definitely feels like a sunscreen due to the zinc oxide content.
If you are looking for more of a light moisturizer, I’d suggest the Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30. That one feels more like a moisturizer and less like an spf. But the downside to that one is that it doesn’t have niacinamide, which I find helps with balancing oil production.
All in all, this AM moisturizing lotion is a good solid choice, is non-irritating, doesn’t break me out, and is a much, much cheaper alternative to the above-described more expensive product. It’s not my favourite sunscreen overall, but I will keep it in rotation and would recommend it.
I am a big fan of Cerave products and have been using their cleansers and the daily moisturising lotion for a while. Most of Cerave’s products can be used on the face or body, but they made two moisturisers specifically for the face, one for AM with SPF and one for PM.
This is the PM one. It comes in a 52ml tube. The main difference between this PM face formula and the generic daily moisturising lotion is that it has the addition of niacinamde as the 4th ingredient in the ingredients list.
It also contains 3 types of ceramides and sodium hyaluronate like the normal moisturising lotion. Texture-wise, I find it a bit lighter and absorbs quicker. On the days where my skin felt a bit irritated, this was soothing and comfortable.
Even though it is light, my skin still feels hydrated overnight and there is no dryness in the morning. For reference, I have combination skin that’s currently a bit dehydrated. There is nothing wrong with this product and it is safe for everyone, including those with sensitive or irritated skin.
I just feel that besides the niacinamide, it’s not a huge improvement over the normal moisturising lotion, but the price is $22/52ml tube and that’s a huge jump from the moisturising lotion which is $15/236ml.
If you already have niacinamide in your other products or use a niacinamide serum and you’re ok with the texture of the daily moisturising lotion, you don’t need this.
La Mer’s ultra-rich moisturizing cream soothes sensitivities and dramatically renews the skin’s appearance. Ideal for dry complexions, this nourishing treatment leaves skin hydrated and revitalized. Ideal for dry skin.
La Mer products have been on my bucket list of high end products that I hoped to try once in my lifetime. So to receive a very nice sized sample of their Emulsion and Creme was more than exciting for me! I could finally see whether this was miracle or myth, a skin care or skin con.
I mean, the price tag on just one ounce is roughly $190! My skin type is mostly dry and over 35 yrs of age. I decided to use the Creme as a nighttime moisturizer. It’s quite rich and thick, which is perfect for soaking into the skin over night- not so perfect in my opinion for wearing under makeup.
It’s light scent was lovely, not overpowering. When I woke up in the morning after applying at night I noticed my face didnt feel as tight and dry And i even woke up- dare I say it- looking dewy! The Emulsion would be my daytime moisturizer.
I knew it would sit well under my makeup at the very least by how light weight it felt and how quickly it absorbed into my skin. I gently patted this under my eyes (as I did the Creme) where I have fine lines and a bit of crepe like texture.
What i noticed right away is that i didnt have to wait twenty minutes before applying my makeup like I normally would with other moisturizers. And when you are always in a rush ro get out of the door any time saved is of the essence and if a product can shave 15 minutes off of my skincare routine THAT is a valuable asset.
I was eager to see how my concealer applied over this as well. Usually despite using eye creams or serums, even those made to help prevent creasing and settling, they don’t live up to their claim or worse the concealer just falls apart over it.
Concealer applications felr smoother, but the real tesr was the dreaded 10x magnifying mirror we all love to hate! If not for this mirror i would not have believed my own eyes. Not a single crease or settling into fine lines! I waited another ten minutes and checked again, as all makeup looks freshly applied after it’s, well, freshly applied! And it really looked amazing! I did the same after I applied my foundation.
Usually i do not wear any moisturizers if I’m wearing foundation (I know, cardinal sin) because they just never seem to mesh well together and I literally end up having to scrub off my entire face and start over.
Not this time! My foundation looked better ans felt better than ever. I decided throughout the day to make it a point to check my concealer and foundation with my pocket sized mirror. I didn’t use any face serum either as I wanted to really test this product out alone and truly I didn’t seem to need any while using this! So not only did it help cut off time from my morning routine but perhaps even an entire extra step altogether! Fast forward a full week of trying this night and day routine and I am a believer in La Mer.
My under eye area looks brighter and smoother, my face looks refreshed in the morning. And most importantly for me, my concealer has never looked better and stayed looking so all day. Not once did I have to wash off my entire face makeup and start over because of the moisturizer making it look cakey or break apart.
But that price tag is still a bit too steep for me at the moment, unfortunately. But at least I now know from experience it is well worth it.
Got my hands on a small pot of Creme de la mer that was good for maybe 5 applications and decided to give it a try, after all there had to be some reason this was recommended so highly to me, right? Unfortunately, just as I expected from a product that lists ‘mineral oil’ so high up in the ingredients list, and a potentially irritating ‘Eucalyptus Oil’ on the list too, I broke out literally on day 2.
The only positive was that it did slightly clear up a dry patch on my right cheek but to be fair I could have achieved that with anything on my dressing table. It sat like an oily film for hours on my face and its a testament to my patience how I didn’t grab the nearest washcloth to remove it with! Gave this to my mum to try (dry/normal skin type) seeing as I still had a bit left in the pot and her feedback was merely an “it’s ok, nothing special”.
If you have dry skin or suffer from dehydration and are NOT sensitive then by all means give it a try. From an ingredients perspective however there is nothing ‘advanced’ about this formulation. Antioxidants, yes, but don’t expect the jar packaging to keep them stable, despite the addition of Kathon CG, normally found in rinse-off products, not ones that are supposed to be absorbed by the skin! ~ My Space NK Top 7 must-have list ~ (My top 7 must-have beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Space NK) 1.

Sweep from your nose to your ears and across your forehead and massage cream over the cheeks to your temples. Apply from the base of the neck to the tip of the chin and take any excess cream and massage over the décolleté.
I have very weird combo skin, normally oily, but pale and sensitive due to retinA, and breakout prone. I get oily everywhere except my cheeks, which get very dry half the year. I have tried both regular cream and the RICH cream, and I definitely feel that my skin loves the Rich one more.
It’s not like a heavy greasy cream, but it’s thick and rich, and I always want to take extra time to massage it into my face at night. It’s very unique. It’s unscented, nothing irritating in it, doesn’t burn or sting or cause any exfoliating.
I’ve gone through about 2 bottles in over a year, using mainly at night. If my skin happens to be really dry from retinA then i will use some before makeup or spot moisturize during the day. But typically I only use at night.
It spreads easy enough but still feels thick and doesn’t just disappear after you apply it. I would suggest shaking the bottle up every week. The oils in this don’t break me out like practically every other cream.
I feel like this adds a cushion to my skin at night, i use it before tretinoin prescription cream. And my skin feels protected and I wake up with more even skin tone every day. At first I bought the non-rich one thinking this would be too greasy for me, but ITS NOT GREASY! That being said, if you have extremely dry skin, you might want to try their facial oil over the top of this.
And always drink tons of water before and after bed because that’s the ideal time for your skin to repair itself. You can’t go to bed dehydrated and expect to wake up with glowing skin 8 hours later, you skin needs water even when you’re sleeping.
I truly believe in THE RICH CREAM and it is the main AB product I use. I have tried a couple others and I just bought the eye cream. So far this is my favorite and I hope they never change this formula.
But if they extend their line of skincare I will be happy to try new products. JUST DONT CHANGE THIS ONE.
I wasn’t sure about this cream at first. In all honesty I didn’t get the hype, the price tag is eye watering too, so that also put me off. I got a 15ml size of this in my calendar and I’m so glad I did.
I use it once to twice a day and at first I saw no difference in my skin, but I stuck it out and suddenly BAM I looked in the mirror one morning and it was like I had completely new skin, I only need 2 pumps to do my whole face, neck and chest.
For me a little goes a long way, so I have been able to trial this out properly. My pores are now tiny, my redness gone, skin is soft and silky and what really sold it to me, to the point I had to buy the full size, as I can’t imagine being without this cream now is that my scarring from childhood acne and I mean scarring, not the faded redness you get from an old spot, which mind you this gets rid of spots and the after effects of them fast.
Something that would take weeks to fade is healed and fine in a week if that. The childhood scarring which I have never been able to get rid of has softened, to the extreme of barely seeing them anymore.
It was at day 20 my skin just did a massive turn around and it’s still improving daily, If you’re unsure on this cream give it a go and stick it out. I use amazing, expensive products on my skin which I love but this is just different, amazing and you won’t regret it.
It works great with my existing skin care routine and sits nice under make up. I have combination skin and I don’t find this heavy at all and it certainly doesn’t clog pores. seriously does so much for the skin, it’s a little miracle in a jar!.
I have a very problematic skin. I have a few severe allergies that often result in hives (unfortunately most often on my face and neck), I suffer with water retention (read – tired and puffy skin) and also there is the rosacea.
If that was not enough – I was born with KP… I am in my late thirties and when I skin last year started to show substantial sign of premature ageing I went crazy looking for something that will help my skin to reset the o’clock (or at least slow it down).
It was like lockdown has added me 10 years! I tried most of the high end brands without any major breakthroughs and then I read about the Rich Cream and I decided to try… I know some people wait weeks for the result but it was not the case for me.
I could look again with joy into the mirror after just a couple of days. My dull, dry dehydrated skin was glowing! I continue using AB rich cream and experimenting with other products. My friends notice as suddenly everybody comments how beautiful my skin is and how I still look like I was twenty something years old… my skin is radiant, more elastic, more even and fine lines vanished and smoothed.
Head-to-toe moisturizer that provides instant relief and long-term hydration for dry, distressed skin, even eczema. The beautiful, whipped texture is instantly absorbed with no greasy after-feel. Safe for sensitive skin, the cream can be used by all members of the family, even children and babies.
I received this product complimentary from First Aid Beauty to review and give my honest opinions. This ultra repair cream has a rich thick balm texture. It is emollient without being greasy or heavy.
It is suitable for all skin types but is designed to hydrate dry parched skin and is safe for sensitive skin. It is formulated with collodial oatmeal, shea butter, allantoin, ceramides and FAB’s antioxidant booster.
These ingredients work together to moisturise and soothe the skin. The tub says to apply from head to toe once or twice daily. I found that this was perfect for moisturising my body as it didn’t leave my body feeling sticky like some creams do.
It took some rubbing in to get rid of the white cast, but once it’s worked into the skin it absorbs quickly. I did feel a bit of tingling on my skin, which I assume is from the eucalyptus oil and I can smell a slight hint of it in the cream.
I was surprised to find that it also worked well for my face. It layered well on top of my serums and absorbed into my skin. My face felt nice and moisturised and this got rid of my dry patches. However, because of the slight tingling sensation, I stopped using this on my face because I have quite sensitive skin.
Therefore, this has become my designated body cream.
I genuinely have not be able to use anything else on my face, but now I am at a loss. I have been purchasing tubs and tubes of this since 2018. I would say I’ve spent thousands on Ultra Repair Cream over the years because it’s all I can use.
I noticed about 7 months ago when I received my new tub in the mail it said “no artificial fragrance” as opposed to “fragrance free” like it used to… I was afraid to try anything else, so I used it, all year I’ve had random rashes and bumps on my face.
Sometimes I’ll get in bed and my face will just feel hot and itch. I on a whim decided to read reviews wherever this is sold today… and my constant skin irritation is all starting to make sense. WHY WHY WHY would FAB change the formula to this cult moisturizer.
This is heartbreaking for me, no exaggeration… I someone who has struggled so intensely with their skin. A product and company I trusted for my sensitive, dry, acne prone skin added wholly unnecessary essential oils to their main product marketed towards people with troubled skin.
I genuinely upset and feel sick that I slathered this all over my face today. I would go take a shower and wash it off, but I don’t even have an alternative product to moisturize with on hand. Please, please change the product back to what it was.
I feel duped. There was no announcement, no reasoning. Nothing. Change it back PLEASE. You’ve lost what would have been a lifelong customer.
Cerave Moisturizing Lotion (236ml) The CeraVe moisturizing lotion for face and body developed by dermatologists provides intensive moisture and supports the renewal of the skin’s protective barrier. Thanks to 3 essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid, the light, non-greasy lotion provides moisture all day long from the first application.
It is very suitable both as a body lotion and as a facial care for sensitive, dry skin and neurodermatitis. Without perfume. The independent ECARF institute has confirmed that the CeraVe moisturizing lotion is particularly suitable for the needs of allergy sufferers.
Apply generously as often as you like. Suitable for adults and children. Perfume free. Not comedogenic. Confirmed compatibility.
I bought a cerave cleanser a while back that came with a sample of lotion that was just labeled “moisturizing lotion”. I did a number on my face overusing a harsh active ingredient and needed something gentle while it healed.
I pulled out the little sample bottle of moisturizing lotion I’d had in the drawer forever and started using it, only to realize that I LOVED it. It sank into my skin immediately, made it feel hydrated but not gunky, AND it’s one of the few products I’ve ever used that hydrated my undereyes in a way that made them look smoother and less crinkly.
I thought I’d found my holy grail face moisturizer in an inexpensive multipurpose lotion. I just went to buy more and all I could find was this one, labeled “daily moisturizing lotion”. The new version is NOTHING like the old one, feels greasier, doesn’t absorb or hydrate as well as the old one, leaves a film, and does nothing for my undereyes where the old one was amazing.
I don’t see why companies have to ruin a perfectly good product that people love and replace it with a worse one. Please bring the old formula back!.
I was using another “HG” drugstore face lotion for years but the formula changed suddenly and I started having horrible breakouts. I have never in my life had an issue with breakouts so I knew it I had to find something asap.
Desperate, I bought this after watching Dr Dray on YouTube and seeing how much she recommends this brand. In just three days of using this lotion, the redness around my nose and cheeks has all but vanished and my face feels supple and smooth.
It’s super lightweight and not tacky, which is what I need in the summer. My breakouts have already started to improve as well. Extremely happy with this so far and hoping the improvement in my skin continues since this lotion is very affordable.
I also use the PM version and my face has not been happier. Fully recommend!.

This is my fourth one, its a must in my skincare routine/collection. Its $68 for 1. 69 fl oz and I think its worth every penny. I pick it up at every VIB Sale at Sephora which I recommend. I apply morning and night to clean, dry skin for the vital dose of protein and replenishing moisture the skin needs to retain its youthful appearance.
You can mix it with any Drunk Elephant serum, cream, or oil. It plays well with my other skincare products from other brands too. Just think of Protini in your Drunk Elephant skincare routine like adding a shot of protein to your smoothie.
Abundant with proteins nutrients, it replenishes restores your skin back to a strong, healthy state. Protini is formulated at the ideal pH level of 4. 0. 100% free of essential oils, silicones, fragrance.

Soybean Folic Acid Ferment Extract: This B vitamin plays a central role in maintaining youthful, elastic skin. Skin is thirsty for folic acid, especially after exposure to sun.
I realized that somehow I’ve never gotten around to writing a review on this. It’s time to correct that: I’ve been using this moisturizer for years—four and a half, to be exact. I got it when it was first released in 2018, recently added in the new serum, and have decided I’ll use both until I leave this mortal coil.
Now, it’s not like I haven’t tried other moisturizers; I’ll sometimes be wooed by an interesting formula or see a new release that looks like it could be great, only to regret it when my skin isn’t as soft, balanced, or smooth.
I inevitably find myself crawling back, because this formula is an actual goldmine. If you disagree, you haven’t seen the INCIDecoder breakdown on this thing. There is no dupe, no alternative, if that ingredient deep-dive makes your eyes sparkle like mine did.
Between the amino acids (it’s like they couldn’t pick, so they threw in all of them) and the *growth factor cocktail?!* Go ahead and check the prices on the SkinMedica, NeoCutis, Biopelle, and Bioeffect EGF serums and creams.
I’ll wait. I’ve used 3 of them and the Protini duo makes my skin just as flawless for less $$/oz. -Yes, I bought this with my own money (repeatedly. ) -Yes, I DO wait for VIB sales to stock up (I’ve got bills to pay.
) -No, I’m not incentivized in any way (but I wouldn’s say no!) I just really believe this moisturizer is worth its weight in gold, and feel genuinely sad for every person whose skin doesn’t tolerate it.
tl;dr – If this formula ever changes or is discontinued, I will go through ALL seven stages of grief.
The Dewy Skin Cream by Tatcha provides rich hydration and seals in moisture, while botanical extracts leave skin with a dewy, healthy glow. This richly textured moisturizer is ideal for dry skin and is a great choice for combination skin.

To use, just smooth on morning and night for visibly firm skin. Stand up for ingredients you believe in and stand firm with your skin with Olay regenerate collagen peptide 24.
I received OLAY Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 free from PinchMe in exchange for my honest thoughts. Let’s start with the box it comes in, it’s not to thick of cardboard but not flimsy, jar fits in easily with not a ton of excess space, therefore OLAY is not a wasteful company in my opinion.
It’s a catchy pretty silver and red box that clearly pronounces its name on the front, so you know what you’re getting. Then you open it up to a beautiful 1. 7 oz container that is no nice you wouldn’t know if it’s made of glass or plastic, you can see the cream from the outside as the jar is see through, it has a shiney silver lid that my arthritic hands and wrists had no trouble at all opening.
Then you peel off a cover and you are then able to see the Hydrating Moisturizer you are about to use. Believe me when I say you only need a little bit, I have combination skin, it’s something terrible.
My face gets dry in some areas, and then I will use a face moisturizing cream for it and it will be oily and then I will breakout, this is literally a never ending cycle for my poor face. I have been using OLAY Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 in the morning and at night after washing my face for two days now, since I received the product and I would have to say so far so good.
I feel like my face is getting more and more moisture into it. It also feels like it’s tightening up my pores, and thank goodness it’s not a sticky product. I do have to say by the end of the day I’m glad to wash it off and then re-apply it though.
I have several different OLAY products and I will continue to buy OLAY products as it’s a brand that my grandmother, my mother , myself and my daughter use! Thank you again PinchMe and Thank you OLAY for always being a brand I know I can trust to use on my own kids.
The Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 Moisturizer claims to plump the skin, help restore skin’s moisture, is fragrance-free and safe for normal, dry and combination skin. This moisturizer contains peptides and collagen.
The peptides are known to visibly firm and tone the skin, and the collagen is known to transform the look of the skin. I love when products have these ingredients because it doesn’t irritate my skin, and I feel hydrated throughout the day.
Personally, I have normal to dry skin. I experience the most dryness during the winter. So, I wanted to test the claims. From the bottle’s outside appearance, it looks luxurious, and the weight of the bottle is slight heavy.
Upon opening the product, I did not notice a scent, which is great for people with sensitive skin. It is fragrance-free. The moisturizer immediately sunk into my skin, and I instantly felt hydrated. There was also a slight glow once I applied the moisturizer to my skin.
My skin also felt smooth. All in all, I would recommend this product, Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 Moisturizer, to my family and friends. I would also recommend this product for people with normal to dry skin.
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest review from shopper army. This product is said to be a nourishing formula with vitamin B3+ and collagen peptides to hydrate and visibly firm skin.
Clean product with no parabens, no phthalates, no synthetic dyes. Also fragrance free. I’ve been using this in place of my moisturizer for about 5 days. I really love the texture because it’s not greasy, not heavy or thick, not oily like other creams.
No breakouts from switching moisturizers which I struggle with sometimes. So far it is very nourishing and hydrating. I use it twice a day, morning and night. Usually about evening time my face feels dry again before my nighttime beauty routine but with this it hasn’t.
Sometimes I have to use 2 moisturizers but I haven’t needed a secondary with the Olay collagen peptide. I haven’t seen an improvement with lines or appearance of skin yet other than hydration, I think I would have to use it a lot longer to notice vibrance, lines, elasticity, etc.
Overall this seems to be a really great hydrating moisturizer especially in the summer due to the lightweight formula. I would recommend especially for dry skin.
