A face brush for sensitive skin is a tool that can be used to help exfoliate and cleanse the skin. It is typically made with soft bristles that are gentle on the skin, and it can be used to help remove dead skin cells, dirt, and oil from the surface of the skin.
Face brushes for sensitive skin can be used on a daily basis, or as needed, to help keep the skin looking and feeling its best.

Our improved features effectively remove dirt and buildup with two adjustable speeds to remove makeup, debris, and dead skin at the pressure you prefer. Invigorating in the morning, and relaxing at nightthe three changing heads can be easily customized to suit needs and change of season.
This product with the different brush heads is a wonderful product. When I received it, I started immediately that night with the grey & white brush using it in the shower. In about a week I could tell my face felt smoother & I also used the black & white brush to exfoliate which I could see that my face had dead cells & build up causing my face to have a few blemishes which I knew I should not bother.
That was hard to ignore but I do have rosacea & from August til now my face is getting smoother. Love the body brush as I have neuropathy & this brush stimulates my muscles & relieves pain which helps the circulation in my legs & feet.
Would give it zero stars if I could! Had it for about a month and it no longer works. I know because I used good batteries in it and it wouldn’t come on. I used the same batteries in another device and it works fine.
Also the seal isn’t tight and water can seep in easily and rust the batteries. I also bought senia air steamer from vanity planet and it only lasted a day before it stopped working completely. I sent a return request.
It’s been over a week and I haven’t heard anything. I also bought another facial brush that also stopped working. And I bought a body brush for my husband for father’s day that hasn’t been used and I will try to return that because I don’t want to deal with what happened to theses brushes.
I have an aira face steamer which was my first order that kept turning off every two minutes and I got a store credit for that but I should have gotten a refund to my card. I feel like I’ve waisted so much money at vanity planet.
I’m so mad. They sell garbage products!! I don’t even want replacements. I would just rather have my money back but probably won’t receive all of it because I’ve had the two brushes for over a month and I bought the senia with the store credit I received as a refund for the aira.
An ultra-soft cleansing brush that uses nylon bristles to gently sweep away impurities and stimulate lymphatic flow for a smooth, radiant complexion. Use it with our Manuka Honey Cleansing Balm. *This product is not eligible for discounts.
I’ve used this brush a couple times a week for about a year and have mixed feelings. It does a great job of cleansing, as it generates a nice lather. My two issues with it are the lack of any way to transport it while traveling (I toss it in a ziploc but it should come with a case or something) and that it is hard to hold on to when it gets wet.
Because it is so wide and without a handle, it is quite difficult to hang on to once soap hits it. For the price, Naturopathica could add a simple pouch or even a twist off lid to protect the bristles during packing for travel.
If there was an option for zero stars I would give it that rating. This thing is awful. It is so rough on the skin. I am so regretful I made this purchase. And I bought 2 of them, total mistake. It is also not easy to hold and you have to get it so wet that there is water dripping everywhere.
And then you have to leave it out to dry. In spite of the price, and multiple attempts to make it for, I am about ready to toss in the trash. Huge waste of money.
I’ve used sonic facial cleansing brushes for many years, until my favorite all-of-the-sudden went out of business. I’ve found this little brush to be as effective as any sonic type brush that I’ve ever used.
I now question the sonic hype! Am very happy with this purchase.

Price range is within my budget and really is amazing, Thank you.
This dual-sided cleansing brush helps invigorate, refresh and deeply cleanse the skin for a radiant looking complexion. The luxuriously soft bristles help to gently clean deep into pores while the flexible silicone exfoliates and massages the skin.
The comfort grip handle is ergonomically shaped to aid in controlled cleansing. Directions: Apply face cleanser to moistened brush or face and gently massage into the skin. Using circular motions, start from the center of the face and work outwards.
Use brush all over the face and down into the neck for about 30 seconds. Rinse brush after each use. Use once daily or as often as desired. Beauty Tip: Use the bristle side to help create a rich cleansing lather.
Use the silicone side to massage the skin for a deeper clean.
I bought this for my 11 year old. She is just starting to get pimples and oily skin, and is now starting to take over her skincare. She loves the brush and how soft it was, and she flipped to the silicone side at her trouble spots.
She felt an amazing difference and i think it has strengthened her desire to clean her face (“it feels like a spa treatment”). Whatever gets us through the hard stuff, am I right? It would be too soft for my face but seems just right for her sensitive skin.
The latest dental and skincare game changers, switching up your cleansing routines with their clever silicone brushes. Using a blend of T-sonic and high-intensity pulsations, your teeth and skin are in for deep and gentle cleansing while signs of aging will be slayed.
🧖🏻♀️After I was excited to “sweep” to buy a series of Foreo products and after the first time using it, this is one of the products that I feel very good about, very effective and very necessary to use.
Create a feeling of maximum relaxation like a spa at home. If you like to wear masks, you will definitely love it. Some questions that anyone will ask before buying FOREO UFO2 1. Can the Ufo machine be used with normal paper masks? The answer is yes.
Apply the sheet mask as usual. Set the machine mode to suit the type of mask you are using, then put the UFO2 on the mask. 😆 2. So do I need to buy a mask of Foreo? The answer is: SHOULD. Foreo’s specialized masks will give you more optimal results than expected when used with the UFO2.
For masks, the advice is to not only use one type, but alternately use many types to promote the advantages and unique characteristics of each type of mask. 3. Foreo has many types of masks, so which one do you like best? The answer is: MANUKA HONEY COCONUT OIL in my opinion is the most super soft for the skin after applying.
4. Time to mask with UFO2 machine? The answer is: ONLY 1′-1’30s is enough and then you can apply a 15′-20′ paper mask. 5. Do I need to wash my face after applying Foreo’s mask? The answer is: NO. Unlike paper masks and the usual way of applying masks, most of the time, after applying, you have to wash your face, so the Foreo mask will not be washed again.
The nutrients will continue to penetrate evenly into the skin. 😉 6. Advantages number 4 5, plus the very compact UFO2 machine, the mask is also super compact that you can comfortably carry it with you wherever you go and enjoy the feeling of wearing a mask at any time.
The revolutionary designed FOREO LUNA 2 for Sensitive Skin is an enhanced T-Sonic face brush and anti-aging system that gives you a completely personalized cleansing. The brush surface for Sensitive Skin has thin, soft touch-points that are designed to minimize abrasion for the most sensitive skin yet still deliver deep cleansing that doesn’t compromise on gentleness.
The LUNA 2 goes beyond the standard facial cleansing brush by delivering real skin care results that you – and everyone else – will see. Indulge in a 2-minute daily gentle skin care routine and uncover a more luminous, refined and youthful look.
The next-generation LUNA 2 facial cleansing brush utilizes up to 2X the T-Sonic power to gently exfoliate dead skin cells, unclog pores of makeup residue, and remove up to 99. 5% of dirt and oil. The LUNA 2 face brush also improves the absorption of your favorite skincare products.
Its reverse anti-aging side uses lower-frequency pulsations to visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles, as well as leave the skin looking firm and lifted.
I love the Luna 2! I had the first ever Luna and it really does make a difference in cleansing – the deep clean, gentle exfoliation, and vibrating anti aging mode give a super pampering experience during what is usually just regular face washing.
I do love the larger size a lot more than the mini as it allows for a much easier and deeper clean (it’s much easier to handle and fits in the hand much more comfortably). The BIGGEST benefit of the Luna 2 however is that you can control it without the app.
I actually had the latest version and couldn’t stand the app – so I don’t know who thought that was a good idea. You don’t want to be messing around with Luna app on your phone when all you want is to cleanse your face which is why I really like that this has controls on the device where you can start/stop and increase/decrease the strength of the vibration.
Hopefully Luna gets rid of the nonsense app because this version is truly the best!.
I bought this for myself for my birthday last November 2020 and used it for 2 months. I did a lot of research about purging and using skin brushes and I learned that you need to wait 6-8 weeks to see how these types of products really work on your skin.
My skin was fine. I didn’t have any acne or discoloration, but I had blackheads on my nose that I could not get rid of. I thought that this product would be the key to my perfect skin. About a week after using it, my skin broke out like crazy.
I thought that this was the purging process, so I waited it out. Then after 2 months of using it, my skin got worse and worse. I had discoloration, acne, pimples, cysts, you name it. I’ve never had cysts before in my life.
It did not start getting better until I stopped using it. However, now three months after I stopped using it, my skin is still awful and healing. It’s not back to what it used to be. I have combination skin and it’s pretty sensitive, so I bought the sensitive skin one.
I’m upset that I trusted all the reviews and used this product for two months and completely broke down my skin barrier.

A few years ago all of the women in our family all bought each other the clarisonic smart Mia device. There are a definitely pros and cons to it. Pros: -It made my face feel so clean and fresh. -There are so many different types of brush heads.
From cleaning to exfoliation and makeup application. -Brush heads last for a while. Cons: -The cost is high. -Brush heads are essential and an extra cost anywhere from 20 to 30 a head. -My device only last a year and needed to be replaced.
They do have a warranty. All and all I loved my device and even with the cons would buy it again.
The Olay Regenerist Facial Cleansing Brush is a game changer! Featuring a 2 speed rotating waterproof brush it leaves your face feeling extremely soft and cleaner than ever. I have to admit I was a little skeptical before using the brush.
How well was it really going to clean my face and give me that youthful looking skin that all us women over 30 crave so badly? I also expected the brush head itself to be a little rough and uncomfortable considering it cleans and exfoliates your skin.
The brush is actually super soft and after feeling it I couldn’t wait to use my new Olay Regenerist Facial Cleansing Brush! This was my first time ever using an electronic facial cleanser so it took a little trial and error.
It didn’t come with any printed directions inside the packaging just a very small and simple section on the side of the box. These directions tell you to dampen the brush and your face, apply product, turn on and gently move the brush around your face for 60 seconds.
Without detailed instructions I had a little trouble getting started. I put the batteries in and pushed the button to start the brush and. nothing happened. As I said before, first time user here, so please try and refrain yourself from laughing at me! It turns out I was just pushing the wrong button.
The one on top is the power, the bottom one is to change the speed. Once I got the hang of using the brush I instantly fell in love with it! Being prone to acne (yes, still dealing with it at 32) it is so important that I get my face as clean as possible before going to bed.
After using the Olay Regenerist Facial Brush, I realized that I had been leaving so much makeup on my face just using soap and water. Obviously, this has been playing a huge factor in the appearance of my skin.
The brush allowed me to get every last bit of foundation out of my pores. Also, when using a cleanser with anti-aging benefits it helps the vitamins to absorb better into your skin. My face has never felt so soft and incredibly clean! Hopefully, with all of those vitamins being able to finally get through all that makeup residue, I can keep my skin looking fresh and youthful for as long as possible.
fingers crossed. As much as I loved this product there are a few things I would “adjust. ” The brush itself is amazing but to help customers like me using one for the first time I would definitely add a little more detailed instructions and possibly suggestions.
The first problem I ran into (well besides the power button) was not having any Olay facial cleanser on hand. I ended up using an acne cleanser instead of the anti-aging cleanser I wanted to use. It would be very helpful if Olay had included a sample of one of their anti-aging products to use with the brush.
A huge suggestion I would definitely make is to do a pre-wash of your face first before using the brush. Most women before going to bed are washing off their makeup. My first time using the brush I followed the exact instructions on the box.
Although the brush does a great job at removing all of my makeup, I found it easier to do a quick pre-wash. If not, you will most likely have to keep stopping to rinse the brush head. Otherwise, the makeup keeps smearing around your face and washing it becomes a tiresome long process.
I also would suggest if you are using the higher speed that you switch it to low when cleaning around or near your eyes. Clearly, I did the exact opposite, which sent cleanser flinging directly into my eyes.
Like I said. trial and error. Besides those few suggestions I wouldn’t change a thing about the product. I’m actually genuinely impressed by how well it works. My skin hasn’t been this clear for so long since.
well pretty much never. I would highly recommend it to anyone at just about any age. I know that it is an anti-aging product but I would even recommend it to teenagers who have trouble keeping their skin clear.
I have a teenage boy who also struggles with acne. But I see how he washes his face, which is in a very quick and lazy, very teenage boy way. The Olay Regenerist Facial Brush could do wonders for his skin and with minimal effort on his part! Such a great product, keep it up Olay!.
Deep clean pores with the Facial Cleansing Brush from EcoTools. This compact brush features soft bristles for moderate exfoliation, leaving you with soft, supple skin. Your serums and moisturizers can more effectively penetrate your skin once all the dead skin cells are out of the way.
The compact size is ideal for packing in your weekend tote or suitcase for cleansing on the go.
Step one in your skincare routine, use the Dry Face Brush to wake up your skin each morning. Facial dry brushing provides a gentle massage to eliminate puffiness and brush away dead skin cells to brighten and refresh tired skin.
Similar to body brushes but with much softer bristles, facial brushes are also used to stimulate circulation and improve blood flow. Whether you have normal, dry, oily or combination skin, the Dry Face Brush from Tweezerman is suitable for all skin types.
This is an interesting product that I wouldn’t think is a necessary thing to buy. Nevertheless, I will try it and give my opinion about it. This is hard to remember to use but it feels comforting to me especially when stroking down the side of my left nose to cheek area.
Perhaps I have sinus issues there. It feels like a relief like I am giving care and attention to a part of myself that needed attention but I didn’t know what type of attention would be okay until this little dry brush came along.
My face started to look thinner over use when I remembered to use it. I guess it was flushing out something. It doesn’t say in the instructions but I feel like I need to continue the strokes down my neck on both sides.
I don’t feel complete without doing that. The instructions don’t say how many times to do the long gentle strokes but just a few times seems to make a difference to me. I like that the Tweezerman dry face brush doesn’t feel scratchy.
It just seems like added pampering. I am glad I was considered to be given this sample because I will continue using it and I want my mom to try it too.
I LOVE this little brush! My skin gets flaky in certain areas: around my nose, my chin, and between my eye brows 0. o If I wasn’t bent over my chrome faucet when I used this magic lill’ guy, I’d probably not think much of it.
But low and behold, after a few swipes, my faucet looked like it had gone thru a snow storm! I rarely feel like cleansers are enough alone, and am constantly exfoliating with abrasives and enzymes and acids.
But this brush has minimized my OCD. I’m getting a second to have in reserve! I do wish it came with a drying stand however. But that is the Architect in me.
I have a nerve disorder so my facial nerves are constantly firing. I was very reluctant to try this but am so glad I did!!! Takes maybe a minute to swipe my face before I hop in the shower and at night after I wash my face.
My sunscreens and makeup look so much better and my face feels smooth! No more dry skin!!! Not bad for a working mom in her forties.

Honestly I was hesitant about buying this clarisonic since it is so expensive, you have to replace brush heads, and so many people say it can be over exfoliating. It is quite expensive, but I would say it’s worth it.
Mine came with a 2 year warranty and so far it’s done absolutely great things for my skin. I don’t use it twice a day as recommended. I find it’s best to use when I’m wearing heavy makeup or just feel like my face can use some exfoliation.
The brush head replacements can be quite costly and they recommend replacing it every 3 month. But if you’re like me and you don’t use it every day, you can stretch that out a bit longer. I always wash mine afterwards with a bit of antibacterial soap and then spray alcohol on it and leave it to dry.
I really enjoy the magnetic charger, but I find I don’t have to use it very often. My clarisonic keeps a charge for so long I almost forget it needs to be charged once in a while! The 2 settings are also nice for when you want a deeper exfoliation, but I tend to stick to the first setting.
I find it works amazingly to remove makeup, and it absolutely changed my skin.
When I used to work at House of Fraser I worked by the Clarisonic counter and women were always raving about it, I’ve had quite problematic skin the last couple of years so decided to invest in one. I would always get tiny bumps under my skin and break-outs and I think its where make-up would get trapped in my pores combined with hormonal changes so I thought perhaps my skincare regime isn’t sufficient.
After days of reading reviews of all the competing products such as Soniclear and Olay Pro-X I decided on the Clarisonic because of its sonic technology. I read the others damage your skin over time and can cause premature ageing and enlarged pores.
Although generally good reviews, a bunch of people complained about enlarged pores with Olay’s which is something very difficult to reverse and it is cheaper but I didn’t think its worth the risk. People who had used both said the Clarisonic was better so I was sold.
The Sonic Method works with skin’s natural elasticity to thoroughly cleanse skin. Unlike Spinning devices, Clarisonic’s patented technology oscillates back and forth more than 300 movements per second to gently cleanse, remove impurities and beautifully transform skin so I guess thats what I paid for but hopefully it will last me years to come!I used it with the deep pore cleansing brush head which is recommended for acne and make-up removal.
I was amazed after my first use because my skin felt brighter and smoother, I began using it twice a day as it says you can. By day 3 my skin had become dry and a bit sore, the machine is only on for one minute and it says it is fine to use it morning and evening but for me it was too much.
I stopped using it for 2 days so my skin could recover and then tried again once a day, it was much better and after 2 weeks I no longer had spots and the bumps had almost gone. (You have a month to return your Clarisonic if you aren’t happy, I was considering it at that point but thought I should just try and use it differently).
Then I changed to the sensitive brush which I use daily, even twice a day sometimes and it suits my skin fine. It’s important to work out which brush suits your skin type, the range is pretty big going from body brushes to cashmere which is soft enough to use on the eyes too!I really feel my skin has been transformed, its been 3 months and I know I will have a Clarisonic for life!It takes one minute to clean my face instead of 3 or 4.
I actually saved money as before I kept spending money on acne gels and face washes and treatments, now I just use a face cleansing gel with it and its perfect. In 3 months I would have spent probably £100 and the Clarisonic is only £25 more so by next month I will be saving money My skin is transformed, I still have scars from before but my complexion is smooth and bright and it has definitely given me more confidence.
I love that I only have to charge it for a day once a monthThe Mia 2 is the small travel friendly model, you can’t use body brush attachments but it is compact and comes with a travel case. Every brush has a cap to protect from bacteria.
The machine stays on for one minute, it vibrates so you know when to move on to your cheeks, forehead and nose so that you spend enough time on each area! One segment is 20 seconds so you can use it on your T-zone if its problematic or cheeks as they are a bigger area.
Its waterproof and can be used in the bath or shower. I cannot recommend this product enough!! I think as long as you spend time figuring out a regime and brush head that suits your skin, you will not be disappointed! Also I have a great tip (probably not suitable for the cashmere) I use antibacterial hand-wash to clean my brush head, it removes all make-up stains and keeps the brush bacteria free.
In the beginning my brush would get stained and the various soaps and brush cleaning products I used were not sufficient but that hand-wash keeps it looking and feeling as good as new! If it wasn’t advised to change the brush head every three months I would use something less harsh but the bristles are strong and because it feels and looks new I have decided to keep it on a little longer, I think if you keep it clean you could easily use it for 4-5 months.
I compared mine to the one I was going to replace it with and they looked and felt the same so I will use it a little longer. 5 Stars from me, I think every girl should have one! In London they are available at all big department stores but in Dubai head to Sephora to get yours!.
I still have the original Clarisonic Mia 1 that I think I purchased in 2010 or 2011 LOL. Throughout the years the only thing that needed replacing was the wall charger which recently died. I was surprised that now the chargers that come with the new products are USB only so I went on Ebay and bought a second Mia with the wall charger as it was only a few dollars extra to buy an extra Mia than to just buy a wall charger which was kinda funny.
I have not needed to replace the brushes as frequently as they suggest you to. They want your $$$ which is why they say to purchased every 3 months. If you are afraid of bacteria, you can easily sterilize these.
I only recently replaced my brush head after YEARS due to wear and tear. I use the one for sensitive skin. I have combination skin so I probably could use the stronger ones, but I actually find that the sensitive one has always worked well on my skin lightly exfoliating it, making my pores look smaller, and just cleaning my skin better than if I didn’t use it.
You don’t need the bells and whistle of the newer models imo (although the Fit model seems cool since it is smaller and lighter) so if you are a newb, I would just buy the traditional Mia 1 as you don’t mess with success and with what works.
With brushheads, I tried generic brushhead replacements once off Groupon. The brushes were way too soft. While I’m sure that there are good dupes of the Clarisonic brushheads out there, I don’t want to bother keep playing around to find it.
I suggest you buy brushheads labeled authentic on Ebay with free return policies, or from the official website. Note that they sadly seem to have replaced the sensitive brushheads. The OG was white and gray and now it is light blue and white.
I know technology now has moved to people buying the silicone, brush free models that are smaller and lighter, but I’m a purist and sticking to what has always worked for me.

Hands down recommend Vanity Planet brushes for everyone with problematic skin. I’ve struggled with hormonal and cystic acne for years now, and my VP Spin Brush has helped to cure and tame my breakouts.
The silicone head was a lifesaver for my sensitive skin. Used my brush every night for the past 2-3 years. Though this past week, I noticed that it was running slower–which tends to happen when it needs new batteries.
I would normally throw some new batteries in and it would start up and have a great speed, like new. However, this time when I put new batteries in it would not even turn back on. After a few clicks it would come on, but only run ever so slowly.
Truly am disheartened that it’s broke because I have never submerged it into under or into any water, nor have I ever taken it into the shower. I guess a couple of years is all these bad boys can handle.
Short lived, but helped tremendously in those years to say the least.
I have since only used the daily cleansing brush and silicone head. PROS: The brush is extremely easy to use and clean and I was surprised at the softness of the bristles on the cleansing brush upon opening.
After using the product for two consecutive days I did notice the texture of my skin becoming slightly smoother all over (especially where I had whiteheads on my nose) – however after using it the first day, my face did feel a bit tingly but I had read so many reviews of a tingly sensation and redness after use that was nothing to worry about so I pushed this aside.
Makeup applies much more seamlessly. CONS: I was particularly thrilled about the cute box the brush came in until I noticed that it was broken with a large crack down the side of the lid which was disappointing after the product took almost a month to arrive.
Also, I unfortunately did start breaking out which may have been due to a switching to a much heavier moisturiser in the past couple of days – I will continue use to see if this is the case. MAJOR ISSUE: My chin has always been a ‘problem area’ due to many whiteheads) – after two days of use (and the first use of the silicone head) this area ended up slightly red and horrendously irritated and even more rough/bumpy in texture.
This may have been due to overuse and/or pressing down too hard on that area on the highest setting (bearing in mind I have sensitive skin). I have stopped using it for two days and the irritation has since decreased.
This brush will not be for everyone. If you have uber sensitive skin you may have to ease your skin into getting used to the brush (I recommend getting the discount before purchasing). I highly recommend it for removing makeup even after using a wipe as you can see all of the dirt and build up that was left on the brush.
I will continue to use this product every other day (or even less frequently) on the lowest setting for a while until my skin has gotten used to it.

I recently purchased both the Clara and the Isla. I cannot say enough good things about the Isla. Honestly one of my best skin care purchases. It has greatly improved my complexion, and keeps my skin soooo soft!! I highly recommend the Isla! However, I do not feel the same about the Clara.
My skin is too sensitive to get the full use of it. In order to really pull anything out of your pores the suction needed to be on one of the higher settings, and that irritates my skin too much. I was also disappointed with the cold pad setting.
The heat worked fine, but the cold doesn’t actually get that cold, and when it does finally get cold, it shuts itself off. I think this could be a good product but the programing needs work.
I have had some trouble with breakouts around the edges of my face and forehead for the last several years and even have enlarged oil glands that have to be “lasered” off I was told. I have been using my ISLA for only a couple of weeks and have had a drastic change in my skin!!! It is SO smooth and soft and the breakouts are greatly improved.
Even the enlarged oil glands appear smaller and less noticeable. I am blown away by this product! So much so, that this is the first EVER product review I have ever written.
I truly did not know what all the fuss was about until I received it this morning. I exfoliated my face with it & was very surprised at what came off being I just cleaned my face with my cleanser. It truly deeply cleanses your skin & the simulation that you get from the high vibration really wakes up your skin.
My face was so soft & smooth. My serums & moisturizer went on so gently. It really helps your products to soak in. I see a difference already. I can’t wait to use it for a couple of weeks for the change that it will do.
I used the cleansing side to gently massage my products in, wow, they all soaked up fast into my skin I love these products so far. A must buy for sure.

The feeling my face has after using this is absolutely amazing I have no dry skin to worry about which I usually battle let’s put it this way imagine a gentle version of a carwash as your facial. Washed, buffed , waxed, shinier than the beautiful diamond on your ring finger.
I absolutely LOVE this brush!! I work on cars get covered in dirt on a regular but this brush is my life saver at the end of the day! It really gets in there good I usually wash twice to be sure but with this thing I don’t have too!! Deff recommend 10/10.
This device is more powerful than my Helen of Troy one. But this is really the better bargain. The sander seems a bit out of place b/c you should not use it on your face, but the brush head is awesome.
This exfoliates and polishes my skin so well. After using this, you’ll feel guilty for not having had one your whole life. Comes with 5 heads. And you can get this on Amazon for under 10 dollars. Completely sanitizable.
The Shiseido Cleansing Massage Mask Brush is designed to help purify your skin without causing irritation. Crafted with extra soft bristles that are finely tapered, the brush is gentle on your complexion while being able to effectively lift away build-ups and dirt.
Working to enhance the properties of foaming cleansers, you’ll easily be able to achieve a thorough, deeper clean with the added benefits of a soothing massage to stimulate microcirculation. You’ll be left with a healthier-looking glow for a more radiant surface that lasts.
The brush is equipped with silicone cushions that have a flexible construction to carefully massage your face, while its ergonomic shape allows for comfortable handling and means you can move across the unique contours of your face with ease.
Shiseido Cleansing Massage Brush offers a deep yet gentle cleanse, and its fine bristles make my skin smoother and softer to touch. In addition, this brush makes it easier for me to exfoliate and perform a deeper cleansing of my skin.
You can either apply the cleanser onto the tool or directly onto your skin. Then wet the brush, wash your face with gentle circular motions, and rinse. The brush is waterproof and can be used in the shower.
Be sure to wash and dry your brush when you’re done to avoid product residue and bacteria buildup. Since the bristles act as exfoliators with varying degrees of severity, it’s best not to combine the brush with other chemical or physical exfoliants (such as scrubs or beads).
In addition, if your skin feels red, dry, tingly, or irritated, the brush may have traumatized the skin’s natural barrier. For people with rosacea or susceptible skin, it might be better not to use a cleansing brush altogether.
I purchased the Cleansing Massage Brush from a Shiseido counter at Hudson’s Bay. After trying a variety of exfoliants over the years, I have finally settled on this as my preferred choice. Yes, it is very gentle.
However, after using it a few times a week, it has managed to clear up some of my blackheads without causing excess redness or irritation. The handle and stand design is genius. The long handle allows you to securely shake out water and the stand keeps the brush head clean while maintaining even air flow.
The whole set is well made and the bristles have not fallen out at all. If I had to offer a suggestion, please consider widening the diameter of the bristle holes and increasing the bristle density. That could foam up cleansers even faster and offer greater cleaning surface area.
tl;dr: Save your money, buy something cheap, it’ll work about as well as this dud. I have very fond memories of an ivory colored Shiseido cleansing brush, and bought this to bring back the foamy goodness the prior version gave me.
Imagine my surprise when it arrived with pink silicone nubs alongside the bristles! To my dismay, this brush doesn’t work *anywhere* near as well as the old one did, and doesn’t ever seem to dry properly and/or doesn’t rinse cleanly.
I know this because I’ve bought SEVERAL of these from ebay, in older/different packaging, in hopes of finding a nub-less version. Sadly, they all have the useless nubs, and the exact same bristles. The clean, unused bristles definitely feel cleaner and less sticky than the one in use, which is a *terrible* discovery.
What use is a brush that RETAINS facial cleanser residue despite many long minutes rinsing and wringing under the faucet? I am terribly dismayed that Shiseido has fallen prey to the trend of ‘silicone for everything’, and what was once a worthwhile investment is now an expensive dud.
I strongly recommend that anyone seeking a manual cleansing brush go with cheaper options, unfortunately the cost of a Shiseido brush no longer earns itself back over the months and years. What a shame.
Add the Sonia Kashuk Facial Dry Brush to your cleansing routine to help exfoliate dry skin and encourage blood flow. This round-head facial dry brush features a long handle for easy grip, and vegan construction made with synthetic bristles.
Use before showering to gently brush your face from the outsides toward the center and down your neck toward the heart. Wash with mild soap and water or brush cleaner and reshape as needed to keep using this facial brush as part of your beauty and cleansing regimen.
I bought this randomly today and I’m so happy I did. Love it! I use mine for exfoliating my face with soap and water. I use retinols so I have to be careful with what I use when exfoliating. Usual I go with cotton balls or cotton pads since they are gentle on the skin.
This brush is the perfect amount of coarse. I use mine wet because dry would be too abrasive due to my daily retinol use. My skin came out polished with no tears. I definitely recommend. Also make sure to clean and sanitize it regularly.
I was skeptical of this, but I am transitioning to no makeup, so have been investing in skincare products. This brush is great! It felt nice while using, just the right amount of exfoliating “scratch.
” AND my skin actually felt softer and smoother immediately afterward! I’m a convert to dry brushing! I’ve only had it a few days so not sure about durability, but for the price I’d seriously recommend.
This dry facial brush is a little more rough than I had expected. It’s very scratchy on my face. The instructions suggest to use it on your face before showering. However, I still have my makeup on at that point.
I’ve been using it after my shower, but I haven’t seen any noticeable differences in my skin. I’m not sure if I actually like this brush.

For people who keep talking about ‘tough love’ for the face. It just so happens that you should never be harsh to your skin, NEVER. Just because it’s soft doesn’t mean it is weak as an exfoliator. You probably don’t know any better about how gentle anyone out there should be when it comes to the skin.
Those who scrub it with super powerful exfoliants and extra large beads, and help themselves with equipment that reminds the texture of a foot sponge, simply remove a layer of skin every single time.
By the age of roughly forty, they’ll have to go and get that lift for they will scrub the skin off to the bones. Any decent dermatologist should have you avoiding harsh exfoliants. If you still scrubbing away, get that foot sponge and save yourself a bunch of cash.
I loved this brush, but no matter what I do it keeps drying with mank/residue/glue maybe(?) on the base where the bristles are plugged in (I guess). This of course isn’t hygienic & I don’t want to have to keep scrubbing it with another brush to keep it clean.
No idea why it’s drying like this. I use it with dermalogica face wash & leave to dry & it dries with the horrible residue – don’t know what it is but it comes of with a nail brush. Don’t want to have to brush the brush to be able to use it though.
Just received this product. Tried it out last night and so far so good. Based on the previous reviews, it is true the bristles on this brush are very soft. I do not mind the bristles because I have sensitive skin and its my first step before buying a professional face brush.
After using the brush, it was easy to remove all the face wash products I used and dried it out and placed it back in it’s case. I really like the case this product comes in. There is a cap for the bristles and the brush is in a case.
This idea is good for traveling or to carry on the go. Let’s see how this product goes.
The best face brush for sensitive skin is the one that is made with natural bristles. Synthetic bristles can be too harsh on delicate skin and can cause irritation. Natural bristles are much softer and will not cause any irritation.
The best way to find a face brush for sensitive skin is to read online reviews and ask for recommendations from friends or family members who have sensitive skin.
