Buildable coverage!! Definitely works better on a primed eyelid. Palette wasn’t quite my go to for everyday makeup, but works great for special ocassions. Smooth pigment, easy to apply and use. I love the cohesion of the shades, makes it super simple to apply and create a beautiful look.

The Good: I truly appreciate the beauty of this palette, the colors are stunning and unique in their own right. When this palette first came out, there was really nothing quite like it on the market.

simply put this was (and maybe still is) the go-to warm and vibrantly cherry colored palette that everyone reached for. I still reach for this palette from time to time because of the few wonderfully unique shades it offers and I’ve even packed this for light traveling from time-to-time (which is when I know a product is at the least, solid).

Most of the color are very nicely blendable on the lid and are usually quite accurate on the skin as they are appear the palette (no color surprises). Something about this gorgeous pink palette from ABH will forever hold a special place in my heart, I remember being excited for it’s release and the pure joy I felt when it finally arrived at my door.

Overall, a very good palette. The Bad: Here comes the hard part. As much as I love this palette I simply have to admit there are better things out there at least in the present day. Although this was truly the trail blazer for this color-scheme palette now there are so many releases that mirror and surpass this type of shade profile.

If I’m being honest with myself, I think a big part of my joy from this palette comes from it’s nostalgia factor. The Ugly/Honest: Yes, the palette is good, yes it’s a cult-classic, yes the shades are beautiful.

but the fall out on this palette is downright disrespectful to my bathroom vanity and sink. Seriously, especially the sparkly shades are just fall-out-city. I already know better and apply all the shimmery shades with a flat and wet brush.

The mattes are also super powdery and inconsistent. For example, the shades that lean brown in this palette are very solid and tend to have less fallout in my experiences. Whereas, those beautiful cherry and pinky shades are extremely powdery even when barely touched with a fluffy brush.

I have all three palettes. The volume 2 is my favorite colour wise. The mattes are beautiful, theyre creamy , even the darkest colours like C,D,E 5 and E4 arent dry as it is the case in some other vegan palettes.

B2 and C3 are almost exact dupes with only the colour saturation for difference, I feel if I was to pack on B2 I would get exactly C3. They both are blues so you could use one to blend the other put i dont feel like it is an added value.

Same for the yellows. They look a bit different in the pan but once swatched or applied to the eye they are almost the same and when you pack A2 on it becomes exactly like D4. Where I really a difference from the normal ABH collection is in the shimmers.

They are not up to the same level ,especially when used dry. There are different formulas in the shimmers. B1,E1 and C2 are some kind of pathetic satins. They are almost matte when you done blending but they really dont have depth , their pigmentation is lame and they are flat.

They remind me of drugstore shadows. They are not very good used wet , they kinda muddy up. Its the same for this kind of formula in each palettes. The most beautiful shimmer in the palette is D1, its an impactful duochrome with medium sides shimmers in there.

Not too much fallout but again it looks better wet. Shimmer such as the pink A1 and the teal A5 arent bad , theyre almost like a normal ABH but toned down. Many of these colours stain or need a white vase or a sticky primer.

The thing I dont like about this palette is that these arent magnetic so I cannot refill one shade , I cannot mix shade from palette to palette. They are heavy and they stain. Its a good value in my opinion but as I love shimmers Im forced to give it 3stars.

I think removing some of the dupes to put transitions colours or nude wld be nice. It cld have lighter colours as transition too. It blends very well though.

My husband purchased this for me right before the Holidays. I had been eyeing it up but hadnt fully committed to the purchase when he beat me to the punch. ABH has quality shadows, some of the best on the market, especially her shimmers.

but her repeat colors and similar color stories keep me from purchasing every release. Then Norvina happened and my wallet hasnt been the same since. This palette is the third volume in the Norvina collection.

Description says volume 2 but that is not correct Of the three, this one spoke to me most. The colors in this are stunning and more inspiring than I imagined. The warm tones could go from fall themed to tropical or neutral.

This palette can stay relevant long after fall, into spring and summer proving its versatility and longevity. First impressions and formula The packaging is unique and beautiful. The shadows are housed in a metal casing that is durable, easy to keep clean and sleek.

The orange is bold and the gold butterflies add a pretty, feminine touch. The palette has 25 decent sized pans and at 60 bucks, youre getting each pan at 2. 40. I love that the colors arent strategically placed but rather all over the place so that it essentially inspires you to be creative.

The formula is a pressed pigment, therefore, there are warnings to not use certain colors around or near the eye area, RELAX. you wont go blind or die, it just means that its possible this will stain your skin or you could have a reaction to it.

That warning must be placed on all pressed pigments. That said, these are obviously pigmented and the redorangepinks have stained my skin. There is some fallout but nothing obscene and to be expected with pressed pigments.

I would reccomend doing your eyes first as some colors do have more fallout than others and even though its not a lot, it is a little harder to sweep away. This might be a deal breaker for some but the pigment and quality is worth it in my opinion.

The pigments are super soft and blendable, making these friendly no matter where you are on the skill level spectrum. The yellows and greens have the most kickback and are almost powdery but apply well.

There are a few colors that do not translate the same from pan to eye. Some of the shades pull darker. Again, not an issue for me. Ive seen reviews say these are hard to blend, specifically blending colors with one another but that was not my experience at all.

Some colors took a little more work than others but nothing crazy and none of them muddied up or blended into nothing. Some people have complained about the absence of a matte black and while I would usually agree, it is not needed in this palette.

If you must have one, Im sure we all have at least 15 in other palettes. It really is okay to reach for another palette. Overall I removed one star simply due to the staining. Its not too bothersome but a nuisance nonetheless.

Besides that, I was pleased with this palette and reach for it consistently. I have achieved neutral looks, fall and Christmas looks, sunset and summer looks, tropical and spring looks. The versatility will keep this palette in my top drawer.

I really love the complex colors in this palette, there’s not only a bit of everything in here, there are some gorgeous multi tonal mixes that make it a great go to got travel use. There’s a lot of versatility here and although I’m no beauty expert, I feel like I’ve seen a lot of different brands and releases and haven’t ever seen one quite like this.

I’ve subbed to various beauty boxes in the past and received a lot of different ones but many end up being very similar or just slightly different and then at a certain point it feels like hoarding when you’re using a few different ones but never finishing any.

For that reason this one seems like it would be something great to gift, or for a newbie, because you can do so much with it without needing to reach for another for a while. It’s awesome to be able to choose from silver and grey for classic looks, or go with brown and tan for a more neutral look.

I feel like I would have saved a lot of money by having this before I added more to my collection just to get all the options that are here in one set. I do like when a palette includes a tool, although I know it’s not on trend and most people use their own, but it would be nice for travel to have it together or be able to use on the go when you already have your base look for the day and just want to do a slight touch up.

I also appreciate having good matte options, as that is my tried and true fav look for daily wear. The product has a nice feel and applies well with the right tools and it also doesn’t have excessive fallout which you do often get when layering and blending a lot of shades.

I prefer using a lid primer to give any shadow more staying power and help prevent creasing, and with this it did hold up quite well over long days.

I’ve bought two other pacifica pallets before this one, Crystal Matrix, and the Hemp Infused one. And I have to say this one is by far my favorite. I’ve had this pallet for about three months and I am in love.

It is so well pigmented, which is always iffy with natural pallets like this. The color selection is amazing and it works for every occasion. Used this thing on my prom look! The really glittery ones (moonbeam, dreamy, and nova) are so sparkly, I’ll still have glitter on my face two days later, I like it personally but just be aware of that.

This is my go to color variation pallet and I looove it.

Sooo much fall out it actually really ruined my look today. I didn’t find that the pigmentation was bad like others said though, maybe the eye primer I used saved that effect. Blending was just ok not great.

Love the color story. I’m going to keep this but this is a pallet I’ll definitely have to do my foundation and concealer after eyes with and even then I might need to use some sort of shield if I want to use the darker shades cuz not even Huda Beauty’s Faux Filter Concealer could cover up the dark blue’s fallout.

Smoky tones are in! You won’t need a special eye shadow brush for this trio to blend well and with ease. The pigments are bold but traditional and last the whole day with some primer applied before. I would definitely recommend this trio to anyone who loves that mysterious, deep look!.

Really like this colour, it goes on and stays well. Great base for other nude shades. Would love to have this colour in a soft shimmer for everyday – bit sparkly for work. My only issue is that this particular pack of shadow is incredibly dusty and crumbly.

I’ve been trying to press all the bits back into itself since I’ve had it, but I daren’t open it now – powder everywhere. Such a shame because I’ve never had an issue with Clinique eyeshadow before. It usually lasts for ages and it’s so hard to find exactly what I want in a hypoallergenic eyeshadow.

I cannot express enough how beautiful the daybreak eyeshadow is. I typically like cream shadows because of their staying power or darker colors so they don’t wear off easily. But, I tried the day break and it was very soft / shimmery and it kept it’s color all day.

I would recommend this for anyone but especially young girls and mature women. It gives a soft pop of color which is age appropriate for new makeup wearers AND it is very flattering on mature skin as well giving a youthful glow as it is not heavy looking and gives a soft shimmer instead of some shimmers which actually look like glitter.

Tom Ford Eye Color Quad Eyeshadow Palette #NewFavoriteMustHave To make this review more comprehensible, I broke it down into the following bullet points: 1- colors options and variety, 2 – pigments payoff, 3 – the dreaded fallout (spoiler alert – there wasn’t any), and 4 – accompanying brushes.

Let me disclose that I am a proud makeup enthusiast and undeniable technique novice. Understandably, makeup palettes tend to scare me – and the larger the palette, the intimidating the experience. The Tom Ford Eye Color Quad Eyeshadow Palette includes four colors, which is great for beginners like me and makes application and color choice painless.

An additional bonus for us notices, is that that two of these colors – despite appearing highly pigmented in the pans (Shimming Peach and Sand) — go on quite sheerly when applied lightly with a brush.

I used the dark brown-esque (called Dark Purple) shade on the tip on a dampened fine eye shadow brush and lined my upper lids from the half-waypoint (mid pupil) outward and slightly upwards. I used the beyond gorgeous plum color to line the midpoint of the lash line inner ward towards to corners of my eyes.

Both darker colors (Plum and Dark Purple) go on very pigmented – especially when wet. As I stated earlier, I am relatively new to this…but almost always have purchased high-end luxury make-up lines which tend (in general) to good in quality, but I have never seen a metallic palette with minimal to no fall out! The smudges you see in the photographs are just that – smudges.

These are smudges that occurred when I tested the colors on my skin for the other photographs. As pictured in in the photographs with the Tom Ford Eye Color Quad Eyeshadow Palette, the brushes are small and although they may prove helpful for skilled detailed work, or simply fixups on the go, I did not even bother with the two utensils.

The mirror is large and clear, taking up the entire space underneath the top lid cover. I should also note that the way this Tom Ford Eye Color Quad Eyeshadow Palette opens is genius; it opens from a recessed potion, thus eliminating accidental bumps and spills when this palatte is on the go.

#Perfection This is hand-down my new favorite eye shadow palette and when it is time for a replenishment, I will turn first to #TomFord for eyeshadow options and inspirations.

This is my first Tom Ford item, and I probably wouldn’t have bought it if it weren’t half off. But what a gorgeous quad! I’m more into cool-toned eyeshadows (warmer shades make me look sick), and this color story was everything I was looking for.

If you’re looking for something that is super pigmented, this might not be for you. You mostly get soft, everyday looks with this quad. The eyeshadows themselves blend effortlessly, and the shimmer isn’t too noticeable, making this palette work-appropriate as well.

The pink color gives you a bit of that glossy lid effect, the taupe is more like a muted olive, the brown is more or less true to pan, and the black is more of a dark grey. But as much as I love this palette, I don’t think it’s worth the full price.

Try to grab it on sale if you want to try out the Tom Ford formula. Otherwise, there are plenty of other palettes that can give you beautiful, everyday looks.

So recently I received a box from @influenster and @tomfordbeauty featuring the Eye Color Quad in 03 Nude Dip. Now if you you’ve been paying any attention to my instagram posts you’ll know I’m not a nuetral girl, but I do think everything has its place, so I was very excited to receive and try this out.

So far I’ve done 2 looks, one where I pulled in a nuetral matte from another palette and one using the shades on their own (I actually found that the deepest color blended pretty well into my crease).

In terms of the shades, they are very soft, they blend together effortlessly and overall I feel like this is the kind of palette a could always get a pretty look out of. Similar to the way a felt about the ABH original norvina palette.

However they blend so well it can get quite difficult to discern the lighter shades from one another and I feel as though it would be hard to get different looks from this palette on its own. That in itself isn’t a problem for me specifically, as I rarely do one palette looks and in fact I feel as though most of the people this palette is marketed toward are looking for an everyday palette for very similar looks.

In terms of the application, I think if you’re looking to get the most pigment out of them I’d recommend using a finger, glitter glue or perhaps a very dense brush. However, while that is usually what I’m looking for from a shadow, I think the soft and subtle nature of the shadows is very intentional and very pretty at that.

I’ll admit this type of formula isn’t what I usually prefer in terms of application, as a very integral part of my interest in makeup is in fact doing the makeup, I can’t deny that I am incredibly pleased with the outcomes.

It’s something that airs on the side of sophisticated more than creative and colorful, but there is a time and a place for everything. It’s different for me, but I actually quite enjoy the versatility it brings to my collection and to know that when it’s time to pull out the subtle nuetral shades I have something I can count on looking good.

By no means am I now in a rush to pick up more nuetral palettes, but I’m glad to have something as nice as this one as one of the few I do have. I’m excited to keep playing around and trying this out with different tools and techniques and the more colorful parts of my collection.

I have long used MAC Cosmetics and products for years, but after reading all the negative reviews, two issues stood out in my mind. First of all, I can’t deal with the fact that MAC tests on animals, still in this day and age! There must be some other way to test cosmetics without subjecting unknowing animals to what might amount to torture or worse.

Second, the items you get for the final price are somewhat ridiculous. I have tons of makeup and decided to see if I owned products that rivaled what was in this set. Not only did I have those same colors in all the various items, but some were also actually older MAC items, some OTC cosmetics, and some other brands, The point is, there was nothing particularly remarkable about this set.

I didn’t use it and debated on whether or not to return it unused. The latter idea won. So until MAC catches up with humane and ethical animal practices regarding the cosmetics industry, and QVC figures out more realistic price points, I won’t be purchasing any more of this type of item on this website.

Not when I can buy comparable and more conscientious cosmetics elsewhere, without the return fee.

Bought this at my local Walmart in avenue de roses. lOVE the color. And it doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. Great pigmentation. However after having it for a few weeks the lower right dark brown crumbled apart.

I’m very gentle with my makeup bag. If you plan on keeping flat and never moving it off a flat surface like a vanity then you should be ok. But judging by other reviews this crumbling is a common occurrence so I sadly won’t be repurchasing this.

This Almay Collection 422 is my all time favorite. I am 80 and can wear it without appearing garrish. The soft tones are subtle and flattering, and in my opinion, are enhancing to many skin tones and eye colors.

Almay did a disservice to their customers when they discontinued this product. STILL NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT!.

I really liked that the trio of colours really complimented each other and the colour of my eyes. The colour stayed pretty well and it is cost effective and easily accessible. I never regretted the purchase and bought it a few times before switching brands.

So I’ve been fawning over Sultry since it came out about a year ago and was so happy when it came back this holiday season, the only downside is that it’s only available in this vault. This is a great neutral to cool eyeshadow palette.

The shimmers are intense without being crumbly or too much fallout (something past some Abh shadows are notorious for) and the mattes are pigmented but blend able. I apply it with my finger, wet brush, or glitter primer to get less fallout.

Using them on a brush will give you less coverage, but more of a low-key kind of look not so WABAM INTENSE SHIMMER. The mattes are are very powdery as all abh mattes are known for, but it doesn’t bother me as they are quite blend able and I enjoy the tones.

I wouldn’t reccomend them for someone that goes through palettes quickly as you will likely go through the mattes in maybe four months of daily use, but if you want to spoil yourself I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I wouldn’t reccomend paying full price for this vault. I got it on sale, since I didn’t really care for the rest of the products and didn’t need them. The mascara is decent but I don’t find it any better than other fantastic drugstore mascaras I’ve tried.

The eyeliner is pretty great, it’s matte black and very pigmented, I wouldn’t reccomend for beginners since you have to be very careful as it’s quite pigmented and the applicator isn’t the easiest to use, don’t know how long till it dries out though.

I was very disappointed to find that there was barely any product in the eye primer. It was filled a little less than half the way in the already tiny tube. Wish they would’ve added a bit more product, it really could’ve had more.

In conclusion, if you don’t read this whole essay it’s a beautiful everyday palette, perfect as a gift or spoil yourself present. I do not reccomend paying full price as these vaults usually go on sale.

I purchased these eyeshadow palettes in True Neutrals, Deep Neutrals and Wine. The colors are very pigmented and I love to blend different palettes together. I also plan to purchase it in Cool Neutrals as well! I would purchase in Peach and Rose if I did not own a Charlotte Tilbury palette with similar colors.

I normally love Fenty packaging but the numbers on the front drive me a bit crazy. Only owning certain palettes makes me feel like I’m missing out and pressures me to collect them all which I dislike as a somewhat conscious consumer.

I found the snap together feature to be just ok. Snapping from the back means you have to hold it by the mirror or edges of the eyeshadow palette so finger prints are inevitable. I’d prefer if the snap together feature would allow us to view the colors side by side rather than flipping back and forth constantly.

Hey guys, today we will talk about the palette Smoky 6 by Fenty Beauty. We would like to start by saying that we adore Rihanna but we will not let this influence our honest opinion about the make up.

This palette contain 3 shimmer and 3 matte; I used this palette for an halloween makeup and I had few issuess: first of all this colors aren’t pigmented enough so I had to pass the color several timesin the same spot before i could obtain the result I wanted, I also notice that I was experiencing so much fall out so the makeup didn’t come clean as I wanted.
