20 Best Eyeshadow For Green Eyes And Blonde Hair (2023 Updated)

I love this eye shadow. It is buttery so there is little fall out. It is deeply pigmented with good color saturation. However, the color on my lid is not as bright a purple as it appears in the compact.

It is more of a deep plumb rather than a violet. I do not blend my eyeshadow so i do not know how well this product blends with others. It comes without an applicator and after trying both a sponge applicator and a brush, I personally had better control with the brush.

This shadow is $4. 99 in Target. Beautiful quality and so cheap! It’s a lovely pigmented matte cool taupe shade that makes the whites of my eyes look extremely white and overall makes my green eyes come alive.

It has an almost creamy texture but yet it drys to a powder. Lasts all day over foundation and powder without any creasing. I use Cafe Au Lait on my lid and into the crease along with Paris Beach on the browbone.

It’s a classic look that works perfectly with my green eyes and NW20 skin. Definitely recommend. especially if your eyes are green and you have light cool skin.

I got two shades (Paris Beach 200 and Pain Au Chocolat 207) in a Vox Box a while back, and I am split on them. I am giving them 4 stars strictly because of Paris Beach. I like this as a base for my eye makeup or for a natural look.

However, I LOVE it as a brow bone highlight. I will be buying this just for that when I run out of the one that was sent to me. I personally don’t have any issues with the formula on this one or find it chalky.

Pain Au Chocolat is another story. I was so excited because the color looked SO pretty, but it has no pigmentation. I have to pretty much stab my brush into it to even get anything on the brush, and when I go to apply it basically blends out to nothing.

I basically just use this now in the middle of the eyelid to give a little shimmer. That’s the only way I get any use out of it.

I actually love this product but WHY didn’t they make it in matte shades too? I want to wear it all over the eye but cannot due to the overwhelming shimmer, which also has a slightly odd golden hue. It’s fine for just the lid but looks awful anywhere else, if spread beyond.

I cannot understand why they didn’t make matte shades first! I would wear a lot more of it much more often if it were matte. And my partner would wear it too, but he can’t at all wear this shimmer look.

The shimmer is not the best anyway, but I love that it protects the actual lid really well, so I put up with it and make it work. Please please please make matte shades! How has this not been done yet!? The only reason I buy it is it seems to be the only one of its kind on the market.

Maybe another brand will get onboard with mattes? Have they? Hope so, if these guys won’t. Mattes please!.

I love this sunscreen but you’re spending more money—NOT SAVING— by buying the “jumbo” size. Yes, it’s a bigger size. But it’s more expensive to buy this than the regular size! Supergoop I love lots of your products but why do this? I found some of their kits are more expensive than if you actually bought the items separately.

Supergoop in general is overpriced, but I still buy because I like the products. However, more companies will continue to make similar products (Kylie Skin has a similar sunscreen for $28) at a lower price point, so Supergoop needs to maintain competitive.

Better bundle/kit deals and better pricing on jumbo products will keep loyal customers, instead of misleading them into thinking they’re getting a “deal. ” Let’s be honest, people buy more/big sizes because they think they’re paying less.

I wanted to like this, but it’s not my thing. I got the golden hour color and its a couple shades lighter than I expected from the pics, more like a very fair/warm tone, meaning it may work ok to highlight spots on me but not great for a minimal base eye shadow that could double as spf protection as I hoped.

If it was just that I might buy a darker shade however. this stuff is super super glittery and that’s the killer for me. I probably should have known since this is a “shimmershade” but the pics made it look more subtle, like a metallic, glowy, sheen.

Of course many people love glitter for day wear, and if that’s you then this could be great! I just have a huge pet peeve with glitter being in everything unnecessarily, I go for a minimal, no-makeup look during the day and would only use glitter for nights out which kinda makes an spf eye shadow illogical.

I still have glitter all over my face after two cleanses so this is decidedly NOT practical for me. It has staying power, a nice texture, and very easy application going for it, so again if you are into glitter on the daily, go for it! Hopeful that supergoop will expand their makeup line in the future because I do love the idea of (reef safe!) spf in makeup and can see the potential here.

I bought 3 of these eyeshadow quads on my last Ulta visit. 2 were replacement purchases of quads I’ve had for a few years and that are almost empty from how frequently I use them, and 1 was a quad I hadn’t tried yet but that I thought looked pretty.

These are just so pretty! The colors in these quads can be used alone or paired up if you want a simple, natural, or daytime look. If you want a glam effect, layer up 3 or 4 of the shades! I own plenty of pricey eyeshadow palettes by prestige brands, and in my opinion, these quads are just as good for a fraction of the cost.

I like to use these for everyday and on occasion for going out on the weekends. These apply easy, the colors are beautiful, great pigmentation, and blend well. The only downside is that as I’m applying some flakes fall onto my upper cheeks and right below the outer corner of my eyes, basically below where I apply the darkest colors.

I recommend either wearing tape under these areas to catch the stray eyeshadow, or waiting to apply your foundation after your eyeshadow.

Lovely Colour of eyeshadow I haven’t been able to find anywhere to replace the one I have, which is running out. Pleased to find it here and as I have used it before, know I will be happy with it. It is a pretty shimmery light gold colour, as described.

This eyeshadow is beautiful. The colour is full of pigment and goes on like a dream. It’s buildable and oh so pretty with lots of sparkle with no fall out. It’s one of my fave eyeshadows now. Can highly recommend.

I was surprised how bold the colors are. I actually bought it for my 5 year old who was beggingg to do a mommy daughter makeover lol I didn’t want her to use my regular makeup because well she’s 5 kids are messy and a little intense when digging their brushes in shadows powders and oh God lipsticks.

So we went to Walgreens i let her pick some stuff out. When we got home and began our makeovers, I almost fell off my chair when I seen how easily blendable the Rimmel quad shadow palette was how pigmented it was.

Many drugstore brands, after a few strokes to blend/apply, it begins to just disappear but nope not Rimmel. I thought this was a really amazing dupe for a higher end brand. There was no fallout what so ever.

Seriously it was nuts! I just wish they had more colors a bit more shimmer to them though. They have sheen but still on the matte side without being fully matte. Needless to say I snuck that shadow quad out from my daughter toy vanity into mine lol.

I actually picked up a couple of these for $1-3 over at Style21, and considering the price and the way these swatched (VERY poorly), I wasn’t expecting much. I ended up being really surprised. The primer base and illuminator are both thick and stiff, but smooth on easily and well.

The primer is a bit sticky but blends out nicely with a damp sponge. The illuminator adds a white shimmer to the lid. The shadows applied fairly pigmented over the lid (with a few exceptions: I tried the white as an inner corner highlight and had trouble getting it to show) regardless of the primer I used.

Quite a bit of kickback, but not a lot of fallout. The mattes develop a nice sheen when applied over the illuminator. They all blend and mix nicely. They do fade more quickly than more high end shadows, but the compact is sturdy and travel friendly, and they do repair almost as well as their high end counterparts.

The downside is the kickback does get into the cream primer and illuminator (though it can be cleaned up with a bit of tape for the most part) and the lack of much variety in most of the palettes—they’re pretty much monochromatic with one shade that’s a bit different, and the shades can be very similar to each other in the same palette.

That said, I did end up liking it more than I expected.

love this product so so much. it is reasonably priced for the product you get and it works wonderfully. it is a great product to have in your collection without breaking your bank😁. love the packaging is nice too the color are pigmented and look amazing on the eye.

I bought this when I was going away for a weekend bachelorette party trip to Atlantic City and it was such a great buy! I didn’t want to pack too much so this small compact palette was everything I needed to achieve the perfect smokey eye for a night out with the girls.

It even has step by step directions on the back. The pigmentations are great and the colors last. It was super cheap but high quality. I love that its small, I can throw it in my purse for touch ups or save on packing space by bringing this instead of some of my other very large palettes.

Definitely an unexpected gem of a find at the drugstore! #PaletteLove.

So pleased to get this eyeshadow colour that was discontinued. Arrived in lots of taped packaging. When I unwrapped it, there was dirt and what looked like a dessicated bug attached to the outside of the packaging.

I cleaned it off. The interior was fine but the exterior was off putting. Essentially, I felt this product was being stored in someone’s garage, basement, or attic. Great product – but keep it clean.

All the almay blends shadows have a funny smell. Not bad, just chalky maybe? they stay on for the majority of the day but if I were to go out at night, I would definitely reapply the shadow as it does fade.

Steel is more of a soft grey color. No real shimmer to speak of no blueish hue. I wear another silver/grey shadow that has a bit of shimmer has a tiny amount of a very, very light blue hue to it. I prefer that one to this flat, no personality grey.

I couldnt find the green colour eye shadow I was looking for on the High Street. Thanks to eBay I found just what I was looking for. Great purchase

is a revelation!!! For all those women out there who never had anyone teach them about make up and who hate watching those makeup tutorials just to do your eyeshadow well this product can fix everything! I use this product not just in the Smokey eye shade but in purple, green, and nude!!! They lay it out and clearly label EXACTLY how and where to use the colors on your eyelids and they make me feel finally put together on the daily.

I have never had any luck with Almay products and now I remember why. I bought this palette on a trip, I just wanted a cute Smokey eye and something fast. This palette is awful!!! I don’t think I have ever seen an eyeshadow palette so streaky in my life! The fallout was insane( I don’t mind some fall out but this was horrendous!!!) I will never reach for another Almay product in my life.

I am officially scarred.

I got this a long time ago, and when I recently went through all my make up to move it to a case because, let’s be real. who the hell has all that bathroom counter space for all this? Anyway, while sorting my make up I found this very old, very expired palette.

I tossed it out for obvious reasons, but it reminded me of how much I didn’t care for it in the first place. This was one of those palettes that there are different colors based on your eye color that you’re supposed to use.

I chose mine based on that (blue/green hazel) and applying it was a night are. It was so light that it took layer, after layer, after layer, after application, after application just to get any actual color out of it.

I never used it again after that first use and tossed it in the back of my bathroom drawer, only to be thrown away 5 years later while cleaning out old makeup. Don’t recommend, don’t waste your money.

I have not purchased much MAC product in recent years but have really liked the eye colors they’ve been releasing. I had previously bought two other colors that were only sold as singles at $19 each and jumped on this set due to the value as well as their complimentary colors to the 2 others I got late last year.

Love that a little goes a long way and goes on and blends so easily. With all four now, I have a perfect palette. If these were available when I purchased the two singles, I definitely would’ve purchased both sets.

I just read in another review that you discontinued the color Leather. Why would you do that? I have very fair skin and use the Leather on my brow bone. I love the quality and smooth application of the Tatto just like everyone else, so I have no idea why you would discontinue any color.

Also, as others have stated here, please add more matte colors. Eye-popping shiny, metallic colors may be in all the magazines, but it doesn’t work for a day time job. This is a great product and would love to see more matte nude colors, especially for my super fair skin.

My only regular makeup used to just be eyeliner. Sometimes if I’m feeling fancy I’ll put some BB cream on too. I prefer things that are easy to apply and will last on my oily/combination skin and this eyeshadow absolutely does that.

I can apply it with just my finger or a brush, and it’s easy to build and blend even for a complete novice like moi. And by the end of a full day it is gone a little bit from my crease (not something I’m overly concerned about given my hooded eyelids), but everywhere else it still looks as fresh as if I’d just put it on.

I absolutely love Jane’s eye shadows! The pigmentation is perfect, and they last throughout the day. They also don’t make the crepey skin on my eyes look hideous. This time I ordered the Triple in Sweet Spot, and it’s perfect for a natural look for work.

Here’s the deal, I have an eye shadow I love from you. I tried to buy it again. It wasn’t right so you sent me another one and still you no longer have the color I love. It was espresso. One color in an eye shadow compact.

Dark brown. Don’t know why you are no longer offering espresso/dark brown. None of the eye shadow combinations has that same color. That is why I am disappointed.

Jane Iredale has great cosmetics that are good for skin. The eyeshadow combinations they put together are great. This one has several that can be used alone or just a couple. The pigment is so true, it’s nice to know what it looks like in the package will be what it looks like on.

And you don’t need alot to get great looking results.

Whike this product itself. the color and the texture and the ability to put it on. Is wonderful, the package design is horrible. First of all, the printing on the black portion makes it appear that’s the bottom of the container.

I spent a good 15 minutes trying to open it with that as the bottom, only to find out the clear glass is the bottom. But the clear glass container is too narrow. top to bottom. to be able to get a grip on it.

I’m 78 years old and still use eye makeup everyday and have never had a problem opening a product. I had to take this to my 49-year-old daughter and ask her to open it for me. Even jar grips didn’t work.

And she had a hard time at her young age!!! Redesign this productc container before I’ll buy it again.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve purchased Ulta’s single eyeshadow in the color “Coconut”. I wear it almost every day. I also have “Pure as Snow” and “Suede”. All three shadows are matte, and I love the colors and the formula – smooth, pigmented and long-lasting.

I have tried some of the shimmers, but in my opinion, they are not as spectacular. Shimmer eyeshadows somehow end up making my eyes red. This has never happened with the matte shadows. Please, Ulta, if you are taking requests, add more MATTE colors to the collection.

Two colors that would love to see are a mid-tone green and a blue/violet!.

Not tested yet but color is soft and the texture seems ok

This cream eye is more than I expected! The formula blends so naturally on my skin eye. I also use it under my cheeks and to ad shades around nose or under my lower lip. The color it’s exactly what you see in the pictures and video on the website.

You might think the product quantity it’s pretty small but you’ll be amazed it doesn’t require too much for a makeup session. I’m already thinking to add another color on my KW iconic collection. I’m extremely pleased with KW products so far.

Absolutely adore this eyeshadow. Would look mesmerizing in the summer, it creates a beautiful warm glow on your lids. I like to think of this product as an eye “highlighter”. Perfect amount of oomph for the center of the lids for dramatic halo eyes.

The color looks heavenly by itself or layered as an eyeshadow topper. Gorgeous by itself with some mascara, such effortless beach babe vibes. I would describe the color very similar to champagne pop but cooler eyeshadow version.

Very fine shimmer catches even the slightest bit of light and it reflects just perfectly. reminds me of hourglass scatter lightes but more fine of shimmer.

I have this shadow in Pale Barley and adore it ❤️ It’s a light brown with a tiny bit of fine warm shimmer. A perfect satin shadow, not matte but not glittery. I use it whenever I wanna wear warm makeup.

I usually use it as a one and done shadow. Sometimes I wear some eyeliner with it, sometimes I don’t. It’s a natural shade and lasts all day for me, even though I don’t use primer.

This is one of the few single shadows that I continue to keep in my collection. The packaging is luxurious and very well made. The shade itself is a cool-toned pale mink. It creates a wonderful wash of colour on the lids for natural makeup days has a satin finish that catches the light beautifully.

The formula blends out beautifully and doesn’t apply patchy. I often buff this out with a matte mid-toned neutral brown in the crease for a quick but put together eye makeup look!.
