The Bobbi Brown Luxe Eye Shadow has a dazzling green sparkle and shimmer formula. I mostly will use for special events or to feel special for myself. I think the luxe eye shadow is really great with its formula.

I think Bobbi Brown should create more colors or duochrome/multichrome shifts. Perhaps a golden, pewter, and rose gold within the coloration will be wonderful. I love the sparkle with the eyeshadow because it adds more intricacy in the color.

I enjoy the packaging for the Bobbi Brown Luxe Eye Shadow in its miniature compact. Very luxe!.

I grabbed this eye shadow on a whim during my last Target trip. I wasn’t really expecting much to be honest. Well guess what, I LOVE it! The shade honey caramel is so pretty and it couldn’t be easier to just swipe on and blend in with a finger.

It’s not too sparkly/shimmery, either. It has shimmer but it’s not over-the-top if you are in your late 30’s like me. I find the formula to be a perfect sheer wash of color (but not TOO sheer-it’s really perfect to me!) and it’s definitely buildable.

It also lasts surprisingly well on me all day! I haven’t been impressed by a cream eyeshadow from the drugstore in a long time (or maybe ever?) but this is a great product! Highly recommend to anyone that loves a natural every day look that makes you feel like you tried just a little.

Please make more shades so I can stock up :).

I was super excited when Burt’s Bees got into the natural make-up business, especially since I had spent years with another company whose prices are much higher, but quality I enjoyed. I have bought their mascara, liner, two eye shadow trios (the countryside lavender and the evergreen forest), and their foundation (which I haven’t tried yet).

I LOVE Burt’s Bees mascara and eye liner and hope to feel the same about their foundation. But I’ve been disappointed with the eye shadow because of ONE thing, it doesn’t seem to cover well going on and it doesn’t seem to stay on.

I would have given it a 1 star but the colors are beautiful, the ingredients are good, and the price is right. Unfortunately though, I wasted my money on 6 eye shadows and I wont be purchasing them again from here.

I might try their cream eye shadow and hope that has better coverage and staying power. Especially now that I saw they have a Love-It Guarantee, which I wish I knew about when I purchased my eye shadows because I would’ve asked for a refund.

I recently purchased the Burt’s bees eyeshadow palette in blooming desert (for a festive, shimmery look). However, unlike the bold colour of the palette the eyeshadow itself has very low coverage and fell short of expectations.

Despite several passes with my brush, I can’t seem to get any depth or vibrancy with this palette. I am a huge fan of the shimmering nudes palette; it is my go to! I hope it is just an issue with this lot or palette in particular because I really do love Burt’s Bees products.

Countryside Lavender is a great everyday palette. The light shade is a pale French vanilla, like a cream with just a hint of yellow, and is matte (in a pinch this works as an under eye brightener). The middle color is a true lavender (greyish purple), with a gold sheen.

At first I was disappointed this shimmer wasn’t either lavender like the shadow or even a silver (I prefer cool tones), but the gold gives it a certain depth I actually quite like. This shadow, due to its shimmery texture, makes the most impact when applied wet.

The last color is a matte, very dark, neutral (not cool, not warm) purple that really finishes off a look and can be used as an eyeliner. Whoever put these colors together did an excellent job. It would work well on cool or warm skin tones and flatter all eye colors.

I have been looking for the Twilight eyeshadow and the Bahama Brown brown blush that both came in palettes in the Desert Twilight collection of 2010 or 2011!! That Eyeshadow was the only color. besides the base, that I used from that palette and I loved it.

I have purchased so many BB palettes because they seem to be discontinuing their single eyeshadow colors, in hopes of finding or mixing this color! Imagine how thrilled I was to see that it was back in a small palette! Unfortunately, the Twilight color in this palette is nothing like the previous version.

It is a very light bronze color. All colors in this palette have very little pigmentation, and use without a primer is almost worthless! I was soooooooo disappointed. I have to start looking for other brands, because my loyalty to this brand has cost me a lot of money and the constant release of new and expensive palettes and constant discontinuation of good, reliable products is costly and exhausting! I don’t understand the good reviews, I found these colors to range from a little warm to extremely cool and, even if they had pigmentation, could only have found a use for 2 of them!.

Oh My Goodness! I was ecstatic when these palettes were launched. I love the original Bobbi Brown Enhanced Beauty idea and these palettes bring this possibility by the spade full. I’m more of a cool tone person and the shades in ‘STONEWASHED’ and ‘BLUSH’ palettes, which I bought, are fantastic! Great pigment and so bendable and buildable.

Every colour goes with every other colour, so possibilities for blending shades are endless. I am in eyeshadow Heaven with these palettes. There are different textures and finishes from metallic to shimmer wash to sparkle not forgetting good old reliable matte.

I just love the versatility of these shades and couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend a look at these. Please don’t feel they are just mousy. Oh no! Blend a few shades for smokey sultry sparkles in two shakes of an eyeshadow brush!!!.

Get one. One of the most amazing brands. Beautiful range of colors and amazing quality. I love the nudes palette. For that quality the price is right. Very nice application. The taupe color is amazing too.

I tried my luck and bought both while on clearance at Target. The shades are beautiful and they are so nice to apply very buttery smooth. I got the Nude and the smoky. I’m thinking after trying only once the nudes they would have more of a color punch but beautiful either way.

I have hazel/greenish eyes and very light skin it suits me well. Bring more colors to Target I don’t see your beautiful lipsticks or blushes anymore. I have several lipsticks as well from years ago and the smaller trio eyeshadows.

I bought this palette around 2 months ago and have only used it around 3/4 times. I personally like my eyeshadow to be a little more bold and I don’t feel like this product does that for me. The eyeshadows are shiny and aren’t really matte which is something i would love for No7 to bring out! They are lightweight and blend okay.

I wouldnt personally use more than 2 colours of the palette cause they don’t blend very well together. I feel like this is a downfall for No7 as all of their skin care and other makeup products are amazing but their eyeshadows really don’t work that well.

I feel that they are aimed more for the older lady rather than young women like my self. This palette is good to have in your handbag or travel bag if you need to quickly do some makeup or need a touch up but i would not use it as part of my daily makeup routine.

For definition use a medium toned shade on the center of the eyelid. Use a darker shade, from the outer corner and blend to the center of the lid. Blending is the key to ensure there are no harsh lines between the medium and darker shade.

I have used up and repurchased the Pink Chocolate Quad more times than I can count throughout the years, and we are talking a lot of times. It is a beautiful, feminine palette that is very versatile; you can easily go soft or dramatic with it.

For reference, I am light-skinned with dark hair and golden-brown eyes. I feel like it suits all skin tones due to it not being too warm or too cool; it is a perfect balance of the two! If you are on the fence about this palette, don’t be.

When I opened the quad, the first thing I noticed was that the colors are nowhere near as rich as the image. While I don’t have any expectation that the colors are exactly like the image, it shouldn’t look completely different either.

Additionally, there were hard “lines” in two of the colors, which is what made me wonder if it was old. The shadow looked like it was breaking down or something. It is way too much of an effort to get an adequate amount of shadow – I’m not kidding – you have to do about 10 or 12 passes.

No matter what brush or even using the dreaded foam applicator. Then it does not stay on for even a few hours. Just this morning I decided to throw it away. It’s just not worth it. Very sorry to say that it was not at all a good purchase.

I used this product for the first time on NYE for a quite unexpected dinner with the most special gentleman in my life. The sparkle eye shadow was easy to apply to my eyelids – very lightly over my existing eye shadow.

It was just the right color and added the extra boost I needed for a wonderful date night. This eye shadow is long wearing and another quality Bobbi Brown product. This eye shadow made me feel ever so sparkly all evening, even through the midnight champagne toast.

I hated to return these absolutely gorgeous eyeshadows but. the sparkle just went everywhere! No matter how I applied it. with my fingers or with a flat brush or slightly dampened. the sparkle just went all over my face and especially under my eyes! I first became addicted to Bobbi Brown back in 2012 after seeing an advert in a magazine for the release of her Black Chocolate Range. I just thought to myself, ‘I have to try these!!’ Since then I have come to own and love absolutely all of Bobbi Browns Sparkle eye shadows as well as numerous other colours and sets from her expansive range, and I couldn’t be happier! These eye shadows are so simple to use.

with one swipe of a finger, there is enough glitter to comfortably cover the eyelid. After a consultation with a very lovely gentleman Ivan at the BB counter in Fenwicks, Mayfair, I learnt that the reason why these eye shadows are so special is because Bobbi uses a certain pearl which when grounded, produces the unique and fine glitter sparkle.

This is hence why the shadows are a little pricey. But despite the price, I would thoroughly recommend these shadows for absolutely any occasion!! since 2012 I have only ever run out of 2 of the shadows (ltd Edition Black Chocolate 22.

) and that is because I use them every day. They last for a very long time and have never broken when I have dropped them or had them in my bag. They are just perfection!! Therefore even if you’re sceptical about the price, just buy the one you like the colour of most and I guarantee you will not be disappointed, ever! Thank you Bobbi!!.

small, compact, comfortable with a large mirror. this packaging is wonderful. is a complete palette with 9 shades matte and shiny . they are pigmented and appear almost creamy on the skin. I love it .

I like the colours in the palette but once on their vibrant hue is very diminished. Disappointed! I was looking for some rosy pinks but these just blend and smudge. The darkest pink/mauve goes on almost peach! I recommend the Pac-ifica shadows, they’re great.

i really love how it look at my face after apply it. Very suitable with me who doesn’t like a heavy make up. A very simple touch up look natural loved it to max!!

This is a lovely palette. I have been using it everyday for work. The colours are blendable and very soft and neutral. I bought the palette mainly for the purple shade – Amethyst night. A little dissappointed that is doesn’t look like the arm swatches in the photo – it’s darker and so the satin shimmer is harder to see.

I dropped a star purely for that reason but other than that am really happy with the palette. Also love that it is cardboard palette rather than plastic. Definitely a good gift for a makeup lover at Xmas as very safe colour combos.

I wanted to love this palette but sadly it’s not for me and I was very disappointed. I wouldn’t describe the colours and warm neutrals, there are probably three that I would say are neutral but the others are quite pigmented and almost orange in tone.

I have sadly tried it out so unfortunately it will go down as an expensive mistake. Bobbi palettes from the past were always so universal and the colours would work beautifully together, such a shame they don’t make them like they used to! Maybe this would be better with someone who has a richer skin tone.

Honestly I’ve been wanting to try a Too Faced palette for a long time, so I’m very grateful for the opportunity to test and review this product! I”m a sucker for neutral eyeshadows, so while I’m not too impressed by the color story, I can easily see myself using this daily for neutral everyday makeup.

The pops of color are pretty in the palette, but I find that these lighter shimmers can be finicky to work with. For instance, I really have to dip my brush in quite a bit to pick up the pigment (mainly in: milk it, ooey gooey, sugar rush and bless your heart).

Using a finger or wet helps a little. The mattes and the darker shimmers on the other hand overall blend nicely and are well-pigmented. Personally I feel like some of the matte shades are very close in color, (I posted a swatch on my arm in indoor lighting with this review to show this).

Some of them look nearly identical, and different colors to replace the almost-repeats would have been a better use of palette space imo. Overall, I think this is a solid eyeshadow palette. The neutrals are perfect for those of us who prefer them, but the pops of color can be easily placed on the inner eye corners or elsewhere for a nice addition of color to an everyday look.

Eye primer helped with staying power of the eyeshadows, but even without it they lasted well throughout an 8 hour day for me. Would I buy this at full price? Probably not. But I’d absolutely be tempted to if I saw it on even a slight sale.

If you love neutrals like I do, I definitely recommend trying this palette ❤.

This is the third Too Faced Palette that I own, & I was BEYOND ecstatic when I received this. I purchased the original Chocolate Bar palette as well as the Sweet Peach palette. All smell absolutely delicious and are a treat in scent alone.

This palette is by far my favorite of the 3. It smells like deep chocolate brownie as soon as you open the pan but not to the point where it’s overpowering. Once applied there isn’t any lingering scent.

The packaging is sturdy and compact with a magnetic close. I adore that the Too Faced Palettes come with mirrors which is great for on the go. The color story of this palette is beautiful with both shimmers and matte shades but I do wish there was a bit less of the similar brown neutrals but that’s not an issue for me.

I would say that this palette is a great palette for travel as it has all the options you need to create numerous looks. I’ve used this palette consistently for a couple months and have tested it through intense California summer heat as well as rainy days, with primer and without.

The color payoff from the matte shades are wonderful. The consistency is smooth, they are easily blend-able and are highly pigmented. The shimmer shades are visually stunning in pan but after the initial swatch, my heart sank.

I was afraid that they weren’t as pigmented but with primer they look great! Too Faced does explicitly recommend you use primer with this palette and I fully agree. It will give the color payoff you desire and will hold these beautiful shadows to your lids.

I used a combo of both shimmer and matte shades without primer on a hot California heatwave day at Disneyland & they were slipping and sliding all over the place. Luckily I brought the palette with me for touch ups lol.

I came back the next day with primer (same heatwave), and they stayed all day with little creasing! My favorite shades are Sugar Rush, I’m The Dessert and Bitter Half. They are stunning! Overall I loved this palette and couldn’t stop reaching for it over these past few months over my extensive collection of palettes.

The color story is versatile and fun and although some shades have a bit of fallout, they are pigmented and last great with primer underneath. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful versatile palette to add to their collection and/or looking for a palette that’s really great for travel.

But please use primer! Lol :).

I had the opportunity to try this product for free thanks to Too Faced and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The first thing I noticed when I first opened the box and looked at the palette was the nice sweet chocolate smell.

It’s not overpowering and definitely goes with the name. The palette itself seems durable, and the mirror is a nice size. I currently live in a very humid place so I tried the different colors with concealer underneath, without it and with/without setting spray or primers.

It definitely looks better with the primer or concealer but it also stays without it. The variety of colors is really nice and allows you to play a bit. I have hazel green eyes so the purple ones were my favorites to experiment with since it makes my eye color pop.

The only complain I have is the color Sugar Rush was barely noticeable and I had to reapply multiple times to get it to where I wanted it. I’m not sure if it’s meant to be just a little glittery add on to the beautiful colors but I would definitely love to get a more fuller effect with those.

It’s still a really nice touch. Overall I definitely recommend this palette. It has a good mixture of colors, stays all day and smells sooo good! I’m very thankful for this palette and will definitely keep using it!.

I received from Influenster. I found that the shadows in this compact were best as a day to day look. There are 3 shimmer shades but they are all light/medium day colors. None of the shades will work as a highlight if you have light or fair skin.

A person would need to be tan or darker to use even the lightest shade to highlight. The sole matte is a brown that feels neutral to warm. Honestly, it’s one of very few high end small palettes that I feel have a brown that would not be ashey as a base color on darker skin as mini palettes tend towards a cool tone brown.

(a. k. a. greyish). I also respect that the brand decided to make a talc free formula and that it still blended beautifully. Talc usually lowers the cost of ingredients significantly and makes things blendable but is regularly harvested near asbestos.

So the concern for health is admirable. As for why I took off a star. If this were an inexpensive product I probably wouldn’t feel as annoid by the waste of space taken up by horrible little brushes.

I feel they wasted money on this pair of little disposable things. I tried them just to be sure. Yes, they work but do not lend themselves to easy cleaning, the size made them so difficult to hold, and application was a disservice to the quality of the shadows.

Rearranging the quad to be long to add one quality brush that a hand could hold would have been acceptable (think Urban Decay palettes). Decreasing the packaging and ridding the brushes could have been lovely.

This would have made the compact smaller for carrying and the packaging is so rich that they could have made the same profit while lowering the cost due to more packaging and whatever the lousy brushes cost.

They did use the pretty packaging for the handles which are too short to hold. The shadows themselves are gorgeous and have quality ingredients that are valuable. It’s like having a 5 star restaurant serve dinner and give sporks to eat with.

This is my first Tom Ford palette (Tiger Eye). I had previously heard raving reviews about the formula of their shadows and was quite excited to try it out for myself. First of all, the packaging just screams luxury.

It’s not your typical cheap plastic container, but there is some weight to it and looks simple yet expensive. It comes with two shadow applicators that I don’t care too much for as I prefer my trusted brushes, but they seem to be decently soft and easy to use.

Now the shadows themselves: Formula: the formula is very creamy and easy to blend. I don’t experience any fall out despite them containing glitter/shimmer, so that’s a huge plus. Love the formula. Pigment: they were surprisingly not as pigmented as I expected them to be.

I’d definitely suggest using a primer first, lest they appear muddy or dull. I’d prefer more pigment in the top left shade, but the others are buildable and friendly for beginners to use as you can’t really apply too much at once.

Overall: I absolutely love the formula and would be interested in seeing if the other quads have stronger pigment or if the light but buildable color payoff is common for TF palettes. I myself prefer light layers because I like to built it up, but if you’re looking for very strong pigments, this might not be for you.

I can see myself using this for daily use as the colors are understated yet have a beautiful sheen.

Tom Ford’s Eye Color Crème Eyeshadow Quad in the Tiger Eye variety had sleek, elegant packaging. The entire presentation felt very luxurious from the compact eyeshadow design to the small cloth bag it came in.

I love that it had a mirror and had room for small eyeshadow applicators for on the go. It even came with two double sided applicators. I love the color palette of the eyeshadow. Three had shimmer to them and the brown was more matte.

However, the swatches on my skin don’t show up as pronounced even if the pigment looks strong at first. They are very muted or blend into my natural skin color, so at times it doesn’t look like I’m wearing eyeshadow.

This eyeshadow probably isn’t as well suited for my skintone than others, or I may not be applying it as well as I could. I was a bit disappointed that these crème eyeshadows don’t have lasting power.

After I get home from work every day, I would see that almost all of my eyeshadow had melted/dissolved away during the day. The crème texture that although very soft and smooth, would make applying my eyeliner difficult.

I would end up having to use even more eyeliner, so my eyeliner wouldn’t look muted. Although I wanted to love this eyeshadow set, I felt it fell a little short for it’s price and prestige.

A great product which has a good range of colours and stays put all day! The twist up action is so much easier than pencils you have to sharpen which always results in wastage. I thoroughly recommend it.

This product is fantastic! It’s soft and creamy, so it can also be used as eyeliner on the inside of the eyes – and yet it stays on for hours. So use it as an eyeshadow or eyeliner, it’s an allround product.

I have the blue and the brown stick – i love them both!.
