20 Best Eyeshadow For Asian Eyes (2023 Updated)

The product was great. Too bad is was discontinued. You know, not everyone wants to shimmer and shine like a twenty-something Instagram model. Some of us want to wear a more natural look, especially during the day.

It is so disappointing to find your go-to anything (liner, shadow, foundation, etc. ) has been discontinued when it is time to reorder. There’s a significant portion of the population who doesn’t really want to get out and go store to store during a pandemic to find an acceptable replacement.

I know this will fall on deaf ears but at least I shared my feelings on the matter.

SUCH a good matte eyeshadow quad from the drugstore! Do I think this is as good as some high-end mattes? Yes and no. These are the type of colors that you can build up to your liking as they aren’t heavily pigmented.

These blend beautifully and are not patchy at all, in my experience. I do think these are something you can grab and pair with a colorful and/or sparkly palette or you can use alone. The biggest downfall is that fact I don’t believe these will show up well on dark skintones (or even a deeper-medium level).

I’m very fair, so I have little problem with colors showing up. Perhaps the other palettes would be better for deeper tones (I have Canyon Classics)? I’m not sure. I wish they’d expand because everyone should be able to enjoy these good, affordable mattes.

These colors are so gorgeous. The pigmentation is amazing and allows the color to last all day. Great value and a great product. I feel like my eyes pop as I glide on the rich plum based colors. Will definitely purchase again and recommend to all my girls!.

(I waited before I wrote this, just to make sure…) This is the perfect daytime color combination, for blue or olive undertones. I …Truly rare to see such good & refined color-theory. I never find ever color I need in one pallet, let alone a pallet of four, but I did with this one.

I use the blue with water, or a setting spray, to line my eyes (blend the edges with qtip) All the colors are so pretty and subtle. Additionally the pigments are so saturated, you must apply in very good light, or you will certainly over-do-it….

it’s so luxurious and buildable; it’s easy to apply too much. As far as I’m concerned it’s the most luxurious all natural clean eyeshadow, I’ve ever used. As long as you keep it light, it doesn’t crease… And I do not use eyeshadow primer(… but I also don’t over apply👍) Lastly, it lasts a really long time.

I wanted a talc free everyday palette that had just the shades I needed for an everyday look and would be small and complete for travel. I have older hooded eyes so this palette was perfect. All shades are matte except the darkest shade which has such minimal shimmer it doesn’t matter(and is a beautiful deep navy) and is perfect as a liner shade.

There is little fallout from the shades, however they are light so to get depth of color a lid primer is needed. Also, the compact includes a mirror which is also great for travel. I would purchase this again especially since it is clean makeup.

I ordered this ages ago and haven’t left a review until now, as I was still experimenting. Used this quad again just the other night, and came up with a lovely, subtle, smokey mauve moment. The shadows do kick up quite a bit in the pan, but as long as I tap my brush before touching my eyes, there was very little fall-out.

The lightest pink color made an excellent base for the other two colors I used. Haven’t dipped in to the darkest shimmery color in the upper left corner yet, but the other three are very pretty, and blend well together.

I did use some Rituel De Fille Eye Soot (Garland) to pop my lid and brow highlight more, because it resembles the light pink in this quad, but with additional shimmer. Overall, this quad might be a tad too expensive for the amount of color payoff (Natasha Denona minis are $25 for five colors), but if you’re a minimalist seeking a clean, limited palette that gets the job done right every time, this (or another Vapour quad) might be it!.

I really like the color trio, but can’t give it 5 stars for a few reasons. The packaging is cute and convenient for travel, but I found it a pain having to snap open/close as I was blending out. It’s also comically small.

The colors are pretty but I just don’t think the 3 shades are worth the price when you can get other mini palettes with twice as many colors in similar sized pans. They are also inconsistent – the dark shade is super pigmented, the middle shade is mid, and the sparkle shade, like others mentioned, needs to be applied with fingers.

It’s definitely a quick and easy eye look, I just wish you got more for your $$$.

This product swatches so nicely. Each color is extremely pigmented and blends well. It is veryyyy buildable too! If you want a little sparkle to add to your glam, it’s perfect for beginners or someone who likes simple shadow BUT if you want to go ahead and build a nice smokey eye with some sparkly additions.

this product is for you and you! This product did not have much fall out while testing how buildable it was which is a plus. Only recommendation would be to add more solid colors (no glitter) to give users more chances of different kinds of looks!!.

This palette is perfect if you love a warm toned eye. The mattes are super blendable and buildable and the shimmers pack a punch when you pack them on with your finger. I love that the design is so compact and that the packaging is super sturdy with a good mirror, it’s perfect for keeping in my makeup bag for travel where bigger palettes are a bit of a pain.

My only criticism would be that it only really creates one genre of look, this is perfect for me as I’m a warm toned brown gal through and through but if you want more variety in colours the other palette colourways may be better for you.

I absolutely love this palette. The formula is amazing, and I really like the green shade and the deeper bronze shimmer shade is amazing to add a bit more smokey drama to the eye. These eyeshadows apply really well and don’t make much mess with fallout either.

They didn’t crease throughout the day and blended really nicely too. Would definitely recommend! The palette looks really nice on my dressing table too!.

I just received the Sunlit Bronze and Mocha Motion. Neither palette matches what is advertised, especially the Mocha Motion. In the pictures, there is a lovely lavender shade for the lid, but the lid shade here is a bland pinkish gray.

The liner is dark grey, crease color is grey, and the base is a very strong white color. There is nothing “Mocha” about this palette. As for the Sunlit Bronze, the base color is darker and shiny, and the lid and crease colors are darker, nowhere near as vibrant as the product photos on this website.

The colors of the products I received are not what I would wear, so I will be returning them. So disappointing.

Backstory: I received two of these palettes, and in both, the metallic shades were busted up and in one there was a WET pan?? Customer service immediately replaced both palettes, so that part of the story is fine, except for the fact that both of my original orders had the same shades broken.

(Formula problem? Machine error? I dunno. ) I won’t knock off stars for that, obviously, because the problem was fixed. My main issue is now that I have my functional, correct, unbroken palettes, they are not super great quality.

The pigments, especially in the maroon colors, are very streaky and not super blendable. A few of the colors are a little chalky, and then the metallics are a little “damp” feeling almost. They cake up and roll when applied with a brush, and streak when applied with a finger.

I also get almost no color payoff on “TTYN,” even with a wet brush or my finger. When I can get the palette to cooperate, it is GORGEOUS, but I was disappointed with the quality. My last complaint (and truthfully, this may just be me being picky) is the packaging.

It is beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but I wish it was a plastic case like the 9-pan palettes. The cardboard-y package is not as sturdy, and for storage purposes makes me nervous. If you have the time and the patience, then this palette is beautiful, and some of the shades are really lovely.

However, for an easy “swipe and go” look, this is off the table. I do use it, but a lot less frequently than my other Colourpop palettes. Plus, it has a pressed glitter, which I wish was a regular shadow :/.

I didn’t think I was going to like this palette as much as I actually do. I love it! It is super pigmented, so applying in the right lighting can be useful. The first time I used this palette, I was in a bathroom with one lightbulb out.

When applying the darkest shade, I couldn’t help but to think that it needed to be deeper, so I kept applying until my satisfaction. When I got into my car and pulled my visor down to look in the mirror, I was horrified lol I looked like I had BLACK EYE.

So keep that in mind, super pigmented. Shadows perform very well and last long. It is a very sexy and sultry palette with a few different finishes. I have a feeling that this palette will be named one of their OG Palettes.

If you haven’t already, I really think you should pick up!.

When my “Whatever” makeup compact arrived, I opened it and the shadow from each compartment fell out and on to my lap, couch and floor. I spent quite some time cleaning up the mess. I threw the compact in the garbage.

There was literally no makeup to use at all in any of the compartments. I did contact Colourpop to let them know what had happened. I got a response that I needed to send a picture of the compact and mess.

I was not going to go through the garbage and dig the compact out. So my lose. I was so disappointed. The other 2 compacts I ordered came in tact. Wishing that the “Whatever” compact had come in tact, as well/.

I tried this eyeshadow palette in ‘ENIGMA’ which is a nice mix of dark matte purples, and light shimmery shades. Unfortunately during postage, the very top dark purple shade fell out and went everywhere.

I could tell straight away just how pigmented it was because it stained everything haha! It’s definitely very long lasting and good for creating various looks – from natural daytime looks to bold nighttime looks.

The palette is small and portable, so ideal for travelling. I did find it a bit difficult just getting one shade onto my brush at a time, so definitely use small makeup brushes for application. You can use an eyeshadow base first, but I found concealer worked just as well.

The eyeshadows stayed on all day, so I’d definitely try them out again.

This palette caught my eye when I was out looking at makeup. I have fair skin with hazel eyes, and these of burgundy kind of colours always tend to make my hazel eyes pop. The formula is very easy to use, stays on all day, and doesn’t crumble.

I love that the palette has all 3 shimmer, matte, and metallic colours, so I can create a natural look or a bold party look. I can easily use the same palette for creating a quick and easy natural look for work, and then adding bolder shadows after work when I go out.

I own another 2 of the palettes in this range and I’m always reaching for them. Plus they easily fit into my makeup bag, ideal for travel. Always have gorgeous eyes with these! Day or night! The packaging is super cute too! Plus great price!.

I absolutely love the Revlon color stay looks book eye shadow palette. It works so well and it last allll day!! I absolutely am in love with the colors they can be used casually and can be used for a more formal look.

I personally love that they give your eyes that real shimmy look (it makes them more noticeable) also it goes on so smoothly and easily. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great eyeshadow that can be used for many occasions.

This is an updated review, as I had ordered it in April 2021. I wasn’t satisfied with the shades cameo, moth and unveil for the following reasons, but with a new perspective that left me to love this palette more: *Cameo is more of a concealer color for me since it matches my skin tone, but it works great in cleaning up the darker shades on my lid and for setting primer/concealer on my eyelids *Moth was too light and barely there, but upon using a colored base shade it pops more and is heavenly.

Works beautifully as a soft hilighter for cheeks n brows, too! *Unveil looks like an oxblood color in the pan, but is actually a deep purple. The purple shade pulls more cool toned on me, despite my pale-pink complexion but I like it.

This palette was a now or never buy, and I do not regret getting it. This palette has a lot of potential and you can even go red carpet to everyday wear. The Echo and Hail are beautiful shades that can transform any look, especially on to of Unseen.

Marble is unique shimmer/glitter shade I never owned, but I love it because I can use it, and all of the other shades with a setting spray or Inglot’s Duraline to waterproof them/use as eyeliner 😉 This palette is not for those faint of heart and I really want Immortalis to have similar palettes that radiate goth vibes, because this one is a gem!.

The Immortalis palette is an awesome cool-toned palette! 100% Cool-toned paletttes used to be very difficult to find, so I snapped this up the moment it became available. The white lady on the front, along with the inside of the palette, glow green in the dark.

This isn’t quite the goth palette of my dreams because it’s missing a deep burgundy wine and I thought Unveil would be that color. Sadly, Unveil is a deep brown, missing red and purple hues. Moth is my perfect light transition color, or useful to blend out the edges of a deeper shade.

Cameo is a nice matte highlight or blending color. Unseen is a great black matte for adding depth at the outer corner or as liner. Marble is fun for layering at the center of a halo eye or to highlight.

Ash is an alluring blue-toned grey. Hail is stunning for a super reflective lid. Echo is killer for a gunmetal shimmer. The Lime Crime matte eyeshadow formula, in my experience, is very buildable. I dip my brush in the pan and tap off the excess like a music conductor tapping their wand.

Next I place my brush where I want the deepest deposit of color to be. Then I blend the eyeshadow out in little circles.

I heard about the poor customer service of the past owner years ago and I never purchased. I read online that things improved under new management. When I saw this cool-toned palette I thought I’d give it a try.

I’m amazed at the silky texture and intense pigments in the colors. They blended out well and no dust kick up. Unveil is a surprise because it looks like a dark brown but is actually plummy. Cameo looks like a typical stone color until you pack it on, and surprise! It’s actually a pale icy green.

It looks great on my blue-green eyes. The palette glows green at night like a luminous watch dial. I love it!.

I have bought this in the Ivory Power colour. I have very fair skin and the lower two shades and the upper right look stone grey on me. Overall this is a classic grey palette, while on the official photo the colours look brownish grey.

I have sensitive eyes, this palette doesn’t irritate them at all. It is very easy to apply and blend, it looks natural and sophisticated without much effort, it stays OK. I would definitely repurchase this palette in another colour family as well, the only minus for me is it has 2-3 very light colours in every palette and they do nothing for me, I don’t need them and would trade them for something more versatile.

I really like the colour selections in these compacts. I have the Currant Desire (great for hazel eyes) and Fiery Saffron. Both are perfect to use for any occasion. But I think they could be more pigmented, as I feel I need to go back to the pan a few times to load my brush (a real good quality brush)to see enough pigment on my lids.

Wet or dry, my experience was the same. However, I still like it and I have my eye on another one of it :).

Probably one of my all time favorites! I fell in love with this palette when the makeup artist at my daughters wedding used this on me, I’ve been through 3 of these so far, The colors are so beautiful! The pink purple matte shades the 2 shimmer shades are perfect together.

Blends easily stays on all day!.
