20 Best Eyeliner For Waterline That Doesn T Smudge (2023 Updated)

This is a great eyeliner to wear on the outside of your lashes. It’s very pigmented and glides on easily. Lasts for several hours, too. I have a few colors in my makeup collection. The shimmery brown is my favorite (Lionfish).

I made the mistake of trying it on my waterline. A few minutes later it had stamped itself all over my contact lenses. I’m not new at wearing eyeliner in my waterline with contact lenses, but this is the first eyeliner that literally transferred itself with ease onto my contacts a few minutes later.

I tried soaking them in solution and scrubbing with a contact lens cleaner, but to no avail. I wear daily contacts so it wasn’t as devastating as if they were longer wear, but contacts are expensive and I was upset that this eyeliner ruined a pair for me.

I tried it again a couple of weeks later with another color of this same eyeliner (the black), and the same thing happened. So don’t be like me, avoid this eyeliner like the plague for your waterline.

If I didn’t get it all over my contacts it would have probably smeared itself all over my eyeballs. I shudder at the thought of an eye infection.

This eyeliner is trash. I felt compelled to come write a review on this garbage after literally going through a weeks worth of daily contacts in a three hour period. The culprit- this hot pile of garbage eyeliner that says waterproof and is recommended for use in water line.

After putting this on this morning I started doing the one eyed wink about 20 minutes into my work day. Ok, fine- sometimes you get a dud contact no big deal. flash forward to seven (!!!!) contacts later and I have my glasses on because I can’t bring myself to waste any more.

The eyeliner, although it has long worn off, is still pooling around in my eyeballs and trying to find its way out of my eyes. Let me also state for the record that I am very skilled with makeup, and I cannot stress enough that I do a thin line in my waterline, nothing more than a very light coating.

With the contacts it found a way to sit directly on top in the center where I couldn’t see it with a mirror to try and trouble shoot- no it went for the complete annihilation of all contacts and my vision.

If this review saves even one of my nearsighted sisters, I have done my job. This stuff is absolute garbage.

This has been my holy grail liner for the past 2 years. As I’ve gotten older I’ve wanted a more subtle look for work and the smudge stick is perfect. The glitter in lion fish gives my eyes a bit of sparkle without being too obvious so I have no issues wearing it to work.

I smudge it out when I want a more subtle look. The fact that it can be smudged makes it super forgiving if you have shaky hands or if you’re in a rush and you’re worried about making mistakes with liquid liner.

Because it’s smudgable and I have oily skin, I find the colour will fade after a long day (10-12 hrs) so if you’re looking for eyeliner that won’t budge, a liquid one may be a better option.

Good Day Everyone, Quite reluctant initially making this purchase for several reasons; unfamiliar merchant, timely delivery, compromising my account. Well I was pleasantly surprised my order arrived within 4 days (WOW) and Pay Pal was an option which is my preference for online shopping.

The pen is very simple to use and delivered the look I have been desiring for some time. For me my age shows around my eyes; Vasanti to the rescue. I was so pleased with the look achieved, unfortunately I didn’t capture the look with a photo.

I was looking forward to this new eyeliner pencil with the promises advertised. I applied and before I could finish touching up my eyebrows, I couldn’t believe I had big black liner appearing to melt and run off my lower eyelashes! Worst part, good luck getting the smudge off.

I ended up rubbing off my foundation attempting to clean the black off my face. At this point I didn’t attempt mascara and threw the towel in as a big cash lost cause! I told women on Instagram NOT to waste their money too.

If a product is good I will shout off the roof tops to other women to buy, sadly not this product.

This pencil is ideal for the upper and lower waterline. What a difference it makes on the appearance of your eyes. I have very long lashes and the added black in my waterline adds such a dramatic look and even makes my lashes look longer.

I’ve been asked if I have false lashes. I also bought an eggplant color for my lower waterline. Really brings out the green in my eyes. That color is hard to find and I was thrilled that Vasanti Carrie’s It also stays and I don’t have to reapply.

I wanted to love this product. I’ve been searching for about 12-18 mos. for a clean beauty eyeliner that is true black and doesn’t smear or smudge. Quick note–this product actually lets off dark dark blue when watered down, just as a side note.

Well, this product doesn’t smear or smudge. right away? It’s easy to apply with the brush, but I did notice after owning it for about 4 weeks that it needed to be wiped down fairly often otherwise it accumulated some dried gunk residue that interfered.

OK, no problem, but a little annoying. But while wearing it, I noticed that if I even touched my eye during the day, I’d see some residue on my hand. It wouldn’t necessarily smear my eye, but it would let off.

Then the summer heat began here in Arizona, and well, I won’t be using this product anymore in the heat because it simply doesn’t hold up the way other eyeliners do. I’m sad, though–I did really want to like this product.

I have oily lids and live in TX and sweat is inevitable here. I love the felt tip applicator and so easy to get the winged classic look. I definitely need to prime my eyes with UD primer then I set that with a neutral eyeshadow then apply this liner and some mascara.

I’m good to go. The pigmentation is fantastic and definitely is flake free. My favorite!! I do wish it was water resistant or proof. Hopefully they will have one soon.

Color Purchased: Smokey Quartz Espresso – I have long dark brown / black hair and bold dark eyebrows. But typical black eyeliners look too bold and intense in my opinion. The color is perfect – it practically black but has a warm undertone, none of that blueblack color.

It’s closer to black than dark brown. Application: a stiff felt tip – so easy to apply for me! I do a more subtle wing and follow the curve of my eyelid. It is so easy to control. I used to use Lancôme’s Art Liner but it was so hard to control for me, and it took so much longer to do.

This stuff felt tip literally only takes me a minute. Wear / Longevity: This is the first liner I’ve had that doesn’t flake off or bleed by the end of the day. I have some oily / sweaty eyelids that even my mascara rubs off on my upper lid while blinking.

But this eyeliner? It stays put. Even after crying or washing my face, if I don’t rub it correctly it’ll still be on! The only thing is sometimes at the end of the day I’ll see it’s slightly faded from me mindlessly rubbing it.

But I’ve never had the issue of me mindlessly rubbing my eyes, only to check the mirror hours later and see I’ve completely wiped off a whole wing like I’ve had with other eyeliners haha! But not with this one.

Most of the time, it’s just as bold all day long.

I compared the performance of the MECCA Max Wink Ink and Stila Stay All Day liquid eyeliners. Wink Ink initially applied remarkably well, but I believe it became more difficult to apply the longer the product had been opened, and struggled to create intense colour and smooth lines, especially when wearing BB Cream underneath.

In classic liquid liner fashion, Wink Ink transferred to my upper eyelids throughout the day. As the name suggests, liner transfer has not happened while using Stay All Day. I am also able to create smooth, intense, and symmetrical lines with greater ease than when using Wink Ink.

This may be due to the design of the thicker felt tip (which is still able to create thin lines) on Stay All Day. Removal of the two liners is similar and unremarkable: both come of with your favourite cleanser.

You will get better results from Stay All Day than you will from Wink Ink. I believe the gain in results far exceeds the 1. 5x cost.

I purchased this eyeliner on the weekend as an upgrade from a cheaper brand. I went in to store and asked what liquid liner they would recommend and was told this hands down. I wore it today for the first time, and went to take my dog for a walk and she decided to escape and run across a busy road into oncoming traffic and because I love that stupid dog, I also did.

I was running and sweating and managed to catch her and spent an hour afterwards crying and swearing I would give her up to the RSPCA. Through all of this, the eyeliner stayed put. Whilst I hope you do not experience this, if you do and you are wearing this eyeliner, it would survive.

I also use hydrating eyedrops for dry eyes and it survives these too, staying perfectly in tact. Break with your boyfriend? This eyeliner will take it. Get hammered and jump into a swimming pool? This eyeliner will survive.

Chase your dog into oncoming traffic and cry for an hour? Again, this eyeliner will stay perfectly in tact. Buy this eyeliner and you will not regret it.

I am 53 with hooded eyes and bad allergies that make my eyes weep. I needed a product that wouldn’t smudge and give me racoon eyes. This product is the best I’ve used. I also use Laura Geller’s Inkcredible Gel Eyeliner-also good but smudges a tad bid more and I will continue to use.

I bought the Black, Brown and Navy eyeliners from Esquido. They can be a bit cakey going on but if you are patient, you’ll get the look you want and love it. Navy goes on easier (probably a different consistency).

The eyeliner itself is good, but the sharpener that accompanies is terrible. I can sharpen it about three times and the shavings get packed in the tiny sharpener that is attached. I tried to clean them out, but they are all packed in there plus it’s hard to use anything so small enough to get them out of the sharpener.

I had to use the points on a tweezer. It got all over my fingers and then I had to clean the tweezer. It was quite the mess. If the sharpener is changed, I would continue to use the product. Won’t be buying this product again.

After reading and seeing all the reviews and promos I got 3 pencils. While it was a good deal they didn’t quite own up to the hype. I am older (56) so it was a little difficult to get a nice crisp line on the upper.

Used a liner brush to do that. Tried it on my waterline as well but didn’t seem to adhere. As the day went on (4 hours tops) There was some noticeable raccoon eyes and the top liner was very faint and spotty.

I did not use anything but the liner on my eyes (no creams, other eye shadows, primers, etc). I will continue to use but will not be repurchasing.

I currently have this eyeliner in Jade. The color is beautiful, and the application is simple. 9/10 I get a perfect line. The 1 is user error. Not only is it pretty to look at, it also lasts all day.

I’ve tested this under circumstances such as going to work with it on, going to the gym after and sweat running down my face – no eyeliner running though. It doesn’t smudge or move. The line is perfect even after a long day.

Easy to apply, great staying power, decent price point. I use this in my lower lash line most times I do my makeup and it glides on beautifully for a great brightening effect! I expect to continue to use this and potentially repurchase it when I run out.

I was a loyal Estee Lauder customer for over 30 years UNTIL you discontinued Automatic Eye/Lip Pencil Duos. I’ve been on the hunt for a comparable eyeliner ever since but have been disappointed by every other brand.

I was so excited when someone told me about the new DoubleWear Infinite Eyeliners; however, I quickly found out that they don’t compare to the previous Duos. The hard rubber smudger is useless and waterproof is just another word for “flaky”! You must work very fast to remove excess with Q-Tip before it dries and even then, it flakes everywhere.

Estee, if your listening, I BEG YOU TO BRING BACK THE NON-WATERPROOF DUOS! Thankfully I purchased a lifetime supply of the lip liners when I was told those were also being discontinued in 2019. Wish I had had prior knowledge about the duos because I would have stocked up for life.

When I saw this eye pencil, I purchased three – one for my makeup bag, one for my purse and an extra. I had used the previous formula since its inception and was extremely disappointed when it was discontinued.

I cautiously read the reviews of the new formula and thought that nothing Estee Lauder sells could be as big a disappointment as others claim, but it is. The eye liner is EXTREMELY dry to apply, clumps on my eyes and the smudge tip will not blend due to the dryness.

It clumps so badly my eyes look as if I have mascara smeared on my eyelids! I have to use makeup remover to gently smudge out the clumps when applying! The amount of pressure needed to apply and smudge the liner concerns me regarding wrinkles! It is upsetting that I now have three containers of useless eyeliner.

I had been trying lesser expensive brands in an attempt to find a replacement since the old formula was discontinued and must admit I have had better success with the $10-$15 brands. Why do you take a perfect formula and discontinue it with a much inferior product? Please stop doing this! I have been using Estee Lauder for over 30 years and this is the biggest disappointment I have ever had! Bring back the old formula!!! One other thing to mention – the description indicates it comes with a sharpener (don’t know why you would need a sharpener with an automatic pencil) and even shows a picture of an additional smudge tip yet there is neither in the package! If you purchase this, do so cautiously.

It is in no way a replacement for the old eye pencil.

this eyeliner is not bad itself. i love how it has a sharpener for it, only problem it’s too small and could easily break off the tip of the eyeliner. it gets really hard to apply on the eye but looks nice, not too dry.

but other than that i love it especially the brand. i’m gonna keep looking if there’s another one, a better one. the only problem i don’t like about this eyeliner, it could be hard to get rid off your eye.

i recommend not using wipes to get it off(depending on what it is) i would recommend if ur not trying to do a pointy eyeliner, instead like a smudgy one(i have one eyeliner and one smudgy type of eyeliner picture) otherwise i would recommend this for beginners! used products:

I do love this eyeliner, especially b/c Elf products are Cruelty Free & the Company is trustworthy/transparent about the Ingredients they use. My favorite thing about this particular eyeliner is that it’s retractable and doesn’t need to be sharpened.

It seems to last me a few months, which is awesome seeing that the price is so reasonable. I will be honest, (as I believe all reviews should be) I do not agree 100% with the “No Budge” description….

It stays well on my upper lid lash line, but once I get to the inner corner of my eye it tends to smudge and it doesn’t stay completely on the waterline or underneath the waterline. I’m guessing that’s most likely b/c it’s not waterproof.

A couple touch ups are usually needed in those areas……………. I work in an extremely busy restaurant, it’s greasy, usually hot and sweaty, and I have super oily skin & the liner stays put on the upper lid quite well.

I do use setting spray, and setting powders, & I also apply my eyeshadow on top of my liner, while sometimes applying another thin layer of liner on top of that closest to my eyelashes. …. Overall this Eyeliner is Great, and again, honestly you can’t beat the price! The Quality far surpasses the price point in my opinion.

First time user of this liner product and no regrets! Easily applies and has proven for all day wear. (i do use the ELF setting spray to “hold” my makeup as well) The brown is a dark chocolate shade, which i prefer for a daytime natural look with my brown eyes.

My only remark is on the limited color options…i personally like to use purple shadows and liner on occasion which also is complementary for brown eye color. I know green and blue shades are favs for some who pair with hazel and blue eye colors.

Overall great liner. wears well. applies nicely. is not heavy or thick. recommended.

Just bought this two days ago and I am totally in love with it. There is hardly any product in this container that’s the only real drawback , and for each stroke you have to dip the tiny little brush into the hole to pick up more product to make another eye brow hair.

But it’s so realistic that it’s worth the time and trouble, and it also does a really good job matching my particular eyebrow color, which is a dark blond light brown. My eyebrows have never looked better.

Unfortunately it was the only one left, and now I’m going to have to go hunt it down. The problem with drug-store, grocery-store brands is that once people see a review of how great there they go out and buy them by the Dozen.

And typically the reordering at a Walgreens or an Osco Drug or CVS for that matter isn’t that fast so you might have to wait two or three weeks for them to come in again. Sometimes even a lot longer.

That’s the only problem with L’Oreal, Mayabiline, Revlon, etc. or any drug store grocery store brand that has a spectacular product. Everyone knows about it and they buy them out and sell them on amazon for four times the amount, and then it’s hard to get your hands on them.

But other than that if you have sparse brows and can draw a a pretty straight line you can make your eyebrows look phenomenal. And I forgot to mention this is waterproof and stays on for 24 hours which is another two huge bonus points.

Really spectacular product at a spectacular price point I think it was less than $10 with a coupon.

I use this to line my waterline. The consistency of it is super creamy but dries to a comfortable extremely pigmented finish. I love this gel pencil because it doesn’t budge once dried. This is the longest lasting pencil I’ve ever tried.

It doesn’t dry out like most other liquid pencils. As much as I love Marc Jacobs beauty, their $26 +/- gel pencil doesn’t compare to this holy grail status drugstore find. I use this nearly everyday.

So this eyeliner is great but also has it’s issues! I love love love how it glides on easy! I love the tip on the eyeliner pen. That’s a big thing for me. It’s not wide it’s nice and thin. Makes a great line! But the only issue I have with this liner.

Is that it does smudge easy, and just doesn’t last. It come right off if you touch it.

I was a big fan of KVD’s tattoo eyeliner, I loved the color but hated that you couldn’t wear a second coat. With ELF? You can. The colors great, the wears great, I’ve tried every high end waterproof/budgeproof comparable, and guess what? This one out lasts them Every time.

When I test eyeliners I not only test them on my eyes, but test on my hand as well (I let it dry, wash it, rub it, etc) I’ve used this for over an hour and am shocked that it doesn’t have a 5 star review overall.

I’ve NEVER had issues with the cap, and I’m guessing that if it’s smudging it was touched before drying (and it dries fairly quick, but this is still a liquid despite how it’s applied) I’ve worn this plenty of Saturday nights as a server and plenty of nights out, it is absolutely worth it.

It also still comes off easily with makeup wipe.

This is the best eyeliner I’ve found. Tried most of the other highly rated eyeliners and most smudge off really quickly because of my slightly oily eyelids. This one is the only one that’s stayed on the longest and it’s super easy to use.

But after ~a month of everyday use I’m also having issues with the lid. There’s a spring on the lid which I think is common in other eyeliner pens but suddenly the eyeliner would just come apart when I open the lid.

The inner compartment containing the ink stays on the lid while the outer compartment comes off. I’d have to hold the inner compartment and get ink on my hands and pull the lid off. Since other reviews have mentioned packaging issues I hope elf fixes it since the product is great otherwise.

I like how the eyeliner doesn’t smudge, lasts a long time, is actually waterproof, you name it. I am in love with this eyeliner pen and it is my favorite. However, after a while of using the pen anywhere from a few weeks to a month a bunch of eyeliner starts to flow out leaving the pen dry.

My eyeliner pen got its period. The eyeliner gets everywhere and leaves a sticky mess. Gross! On the bright side, it’s cheap so I usually get a backup for when the pen starts to malfunction. I love e.

I have worn this eyeliner since my teens and nothing compares. It stays on all day, doesn’t transfer, and is very pigmented. It also lasts forever. In the few times I’ve tried to stray from this product, I always come back to this eyeliner for my signature cat eye look.

Not to mention it’s dirt cheap. Thankful for products like this that hold up in quality over time without spiking in price.

This is the liquid liner that took me through my 20’s in style. Very black pigment and glides on effortlessly into a cat eye for the experienced hand. I would not say this is beginner friendly, a steady hand is required to get that perfect look without error.

On the other side of the lid to this product is a sharp tip application brush which can be used to draw a fine line or to build it up to a thicker one. The downside is that this product is not waterproof, as I did develop watery eyes later on so I will no longer be using this product.

This eyeliner is just about perfect. It glides on smooth and doesn’t tug on your lids or flake into your eye. I wear contacts and I’ve never had a problem with this liner. I prefer the Smokey color as it’s not too bold for me.

It’s waterproof and lasts all day. I’m older now so I don’t use it on my waterline any more, but I used to and never had any problems. It’s also inexpensive and lasts a good long while. It’s herbal and it’s retractable so it never needs sharpening.

The Kajal waterline eyeliner is the best!! This eyeliner is very easy to use and it actually stays on!!! I have tried Clinique, Lancome and other top of the line names and they do not stay on! I just about gave up on liner until I saw an advertisement for Vasanti products.

I decided to try it. I was very, very excited when I received the liner! I applied it and it stayed on for 10 hours, no touch ups were needed!! I am a forever customer and highly recommend the eyeliner!.

I highly recommend this product if you want to tight line and out product in you water line. This brand on eyeliners we’re designed to be worn on swimmers so it doesn’t smear or budge!! It’s a waterline wearers dream.

The color Ivy which is a burgundy purple which is prefect for brown eyes it just makes them stand out more than wearing a black eyeliner. These have a pencil sharpener attached to the bottom. One thing I can say is that it’s hard to get them perfectly sharpened but I’ve learned they don’t need to be too sharp because of how creamy they glide on.

The formula is for lovers of creamy, buildable, pigmented formulas. It’s like gel formula but a little thicker in a pencil easy to use form for people on the go. I highly recommend this product! I can’t wait to buy other colors, like Ebony which is a pretty shade of purple for brown eyes.

Did I mention I have brown eyes? Lol I’m interested in trying their lip pencils in the aqua formula as well!! I’m addicted to lip pencils! I bet they stay on forever. I like products that you don’t have to reapply and that don’t budge! I want something I do once and leave the house and finish my night and when I look in the mirror at night to wash my face the products still look perfect and this product is one of those products.

I’m sure the formula is great. But I wasn’t able to test is out until I completely destroyed the top plastic part with a regular sharpener like most phot reviewers here. I found that there is a built in sharpener at the bottom but it was already too late.

I already ripped through the plastic with my girl power. So then I can’t even apply the eyeliner without irritating my eye. They say with this new design, you ca create a winged tip every time by being able to sharpen it.

Well, I only tight line and don’t do winged tips. I find that with the new formula, it becomes dull too quickly. So that means I’d have to sharpen it more frequently. At least bring back the old style so customers have a choice between the two.

With your brand, I’m sure you’ll still make money even if you split your customer base.

It mimics a real tattoo while staying vivid, silky and fresh all day! It easily washes off with an oil-based make-up remover, when you’re ready to remove it.

I’ve always wanted blue eyeliner but could never justify purchasing something I probably wouldn’t use on an everyday basis. So when Influenster hooked it up in exchange for my honest and unbiased review, you better believe I was ready to wax lyrical about the product.

Unfortunately, as you can probably already tell by my rating, that’s not what we’re going to be doing today. I wanted to love this pencil more. Out of the box, the product is very promising. It’s a beautiful shade of azurite blue and I loved how it is also retractable.

That in itself deserves a star. The other one comes from delivering what it’s intended to do. That is, coloring my eyes, which it does very well with good payoff. Now for the cons. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by my Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils, but this “gel” pencil is not as creamy as the other reviews tout it to be.

It’s hard to apply with a brush, which is what I like to do when I work with pencils, and once it’s on it don’t budge. It’s even a struggle to remove with makeup wipes. Miss KVD, I don’t need my makeup to be THIS waterproof.

My biggest gripe, however, is the way the formula clumps up on my eyelashes. At first, I thought I was using it wrong, but after three attempts at trying to line my lash line I realized it’s not me. It can’t be when my UO eyeliners don’t even do this to me.

It was so bad that I actually thought I was going to lose my lashes trying to remove the buildup. And curling them??? Let’s just say it was the first time I ever *felt* my lashes because of how heavy and tacky the formula is.

All things considered, two stars is pretty generous for something with a learning curve as difficult as this one. I expected better quality from KVD and will prob use this mostly to line my waterline or for graphic liner going forward.

I’ve been wanting to try a shade of purple like this for a while. It seemed very pretty when swatched on my wrist, but it was a let down in real life. I had planned on wearing this on my waterline, but just couldn’t get it to glom on.

I thought that I’d try it on my upper lash line, but that was also a no-go. The color wasn’t vibrant enough, and I couldn’t really tell that it was plum. The description for this is “dark smoky plum” and it was very heavy on the smoky shade.

I also didn’t think that the retractable feature of this liner did much for me. The line wasn’t thin enough. I know this has a built-in sharpener, but I’ve always found those stubby sharpeners to be clumsy to use.

I usually like SC eyeliners.

I struggle with eyeliner application and choose a tight lining on the waterline approach and it looks best on me. which narrows the playing field with eyeliners. You have to find a waterproof gel that doesn’t transfer to your lower lash and end up all over the place in an hour.

The Sephora associate who helped me because they were out of the UD 24/7 told me about this hidden gem. She said she had always overlooked the Sephora brand, but has found so many good comparable items to prestige brands within the line.

Usually when I ask for help I get directed to prestige, and I was impressed with the helpful employee so I purchased it. She was right. this eyeliner is a gem! And for the price, you can’t beat it. I will be buying a couple of more colors to add my arsenal.

I’ve been looking for an eyeliner that stays on all day for awhile now. I’ve been using a Clinique eyeliner & it’s just ok. Decided to purchase this eyeliner because it said it was waterproof. I only line the top & bottom of my waterlines.

The top part goes on smoothly and stays on ok, but will eventually come off towards the corners. The bottom waterline always comes out too fat & clumpy so I have to fix it. After a few hours my bottom waterline will look like a raccoons eyes! I mainly sit at a desk for work so I’m not sweating or in an environment where my make up should be melting off.

This is worse than the Clinique liner. Guess you get what you pay for. Pretty disappointed with this product & will not purchase again. Still searching.

The MAC color excess pencil the name of the color is glide or die as rich black color. It has the consistency of a gel. Feels like a crayon when you glided over your lid. The black color is the richest I have seen and it’s very bold.

This is a twist type of pencil that you can twist to give you more pencil or twist to put away. So far I have worn the pencil for 24 hours without any smudges. I have also worried for 24 hours into my waterline without having any trips to my skin area.

It glides very easily to my lid without transferring to the upper top of my under-brow area. Personally, I’m always looking for a pencil that I can place in my lid area without having it a few hours later transfer to the top of the lid area.

Also is really hard to find a pencil that can cover completely my waterline and not transfer to the bottom skin area and this pencil does a great job of staying in place and not transferring and making me look like a raccoon.

For the sake of testing the product I did wear it throughout my sleep and I was surprised that it did not transfer to my sheets or my pillowcase. I did a comparison between my L’oreal pencil and this MAC pencil and it was a big difference when it comes to durability and how long it stays on my lid and my waterline, this MAC pencil did stay longer.

I did go to the KEYs a very humid and sunny beach area in Florida and despite all that, the makeup did stay in place all day. The benefit of owning this pencil it’s that you really don’t have to deal with a brush to apply the eyeliner you just grab the pencil push it out and slide it really easily with just this one product, no need for a separate brush.

Is very easy to use and convenient. I would buy this product as I use a lot of eyeliner more than eyeshadow. My sister recommended me to use L’oreal for the long-lasting and I’m being waterproof, but this one is definitely a better choice when it comes to durability, long-lasting effect and water proof.

Will recommend to her and her friends.

This gel pencil was very beautiful on the eyes. It did drag and tug and pull a little while trying to make a wing on the outer corner of my eyes, I messed up the first time I tried and I had to wipe it off and start over.

It felt hard to control at first because of that, which is the reason I’m not giving it 5 stars. After a while of testing out ways to use it without tugging my skin too bad, I was able to make fairly even and nice winged eyeliner.

And it lasted from morning to night! It didn’t last overnight, but I suspect I had watery eyes and my face in my pillows too much, which made it smudge slightly. But the overall shape stayed, and would only need touch ups to fix and wear out! Compared to other products I’ve tried, this product has a really nice and pigmented formula that lasts a lot longer than most others.

I always test gel pencils or eyeliners on the back of my hand too, and try and smudge them, but this one didn’t smudge, even right after applying it! If it wasn’t for the tugging and messing up in the beginning, I would have given 5 stars.

But maybe that’s user error, so that could be my fault. This product is great though and I definitely recommend it and would consider purchasing again in the future when I need a new one.

I loved this eyeliner. And I especially loved this color. Serial Monogamist is a very dark army green color. At first glance it’s almost gray. But when the light hits right, you can see those dark green tones.

It’s the perfect way to add something interesting to a look while still keeping it an “every day” look. I just really loved the versatility of this color. On top of that. The gel pencil formula in itself is pretty great.

Once it sets it stay put really well, it is realy long wearing. I don’t tend to smudge my eyeliner that often, but if you do, I recommend going in straight away and doing so right after applying. This gel pencil will smudge, but it gives you a small window of opportunity to work with, if you let it set, that’s it.

Besides that, this is a retractable pencil. So keep in mind that keeping it sharp will be an issue. It doesn’t come with one of those tiny pencil sharpeners hidden at the end of the pencil or in the cap.

So you have to figure it out yourself. In my opinion that’s the biggest inconvenience. Still, the positives outweigh this one negative. I really do enjoy this pencil and I highly recommend it!.
