Best Eyeglass Frames For Round Face (2026 Updated)

This is an absolutely a pair of glass that youd be assured it will never go out of fashion. The same frame have been around since the 60s or earlier as far as I remember. It is a very classical style of Persol.

As a matter of fact if you pay an attention to the arm, you will know right away, it is from Persol. It comes in 55mm and 53mm lenses and in other colors. I chose the back with clear at the bottom because it will look less black on the face and for the style too.

Traditional Persols are identified with their black, and Havana colors. But also the trademark arrow on either side and the thick arm. This frame, eventhough purchased recently, I am confident it will stand falling off the desk etc.

I personally prefer full rim that is made of acetate or plastic for durability. I bought it for a good price and paid the shipping fees since I m from Canada. Buy one with confidence from Framesdirect, you will get excellent customer service, cool designer made frames, complimentary cleaning cloth and more.

First I was skeptical, now I will be a returning customer :)The price of the frame (Persol) was cheaper than local brick and mortar stores in my area. It took a little longer than expected to receive the finalized product, given I opted to use UPS for faster delivery and there was some New York involvement in the process given that FramesDirect.

com operates from TX. I especially loved the how it would look on you graphical capability (I believe a patented software specific to FramesDirect. com) when selecting a particular frame on the site.

The call back right after I placed my online order was also very promising for the very first experience. I knew my prescription details but I am sure the caller would help if I had questions. Uploading existing prescription was seamless as well.

As long as you are comfortable buying online, I would definitely recommend FramesDirect. com for your next eye-glass purchase. Price wise, nothing beats local Costco though (if you are ok with their limited frame selection).

I wish FramesDirect. com offers using your old frame service (at least if it was purchased originally from FramesDirect. com). I do not like to replace a perfectly good condition frame with a new one a year or two later just to install a new prescription glasses on it.

When a consumer looks at a products photo in the decision to purchase they expect to receive what they see advertised unless there is adequate information to indicate else wise. I expected that I would see the vibrant oranges seen in the photo.

Not so! The frames were mostly dark. I realized upon closer observation that intense lighting (similar to jewelry stores)was used to bring out the colours shown. Disappointing.

I recently purchased this frame! I love the fit and size!! I so wish I had order the glass lens instead of the plastic. I have both lens in different frames, and the quality of the glass is so much better!! I can clean the glass better; I actually believe I can see better with the glass lens! I definitely will purchase glass lens from now on!.

These are very well made and durable frames, come with a sturdy bulky case (if you like that). The color selection is perfect between the lighter tortoise shell type versus the darker Havana, and now they have added black.

If you like a truly classic timeless style in a frame that holds up, these are the frames you want. If you are used to larger frames these will take a little bit of getting used to, as they can feel small on your face, but once you get used to them you won’t want to go back.

I hope Polo makes these for a long long time because I could wear these for many years to come and never feel they are dated or out of style. I honestly love the design of Ray Ban products, but I had a horrible experience and lost $200 because of this website. I tried to purchase these glasses (with a prescription) only to find out after I clicked proceed that the glasses were purchased and I didn’t get an option to insert the prescription.

There was no way to get the ordered canceled immediately before it ended up getting shipped to me. The frames were worthless because they did not have a prescription. I then printed out the UPS label and sent it back to Ray Ban.

UPS apparently didn’t send it to the right place even though I gave them the label I was provided. Again, if the website was easier to use and if customer service could have canceled my order before it was shipped, none of this would have happened.

I will be purchasing all of my glasses and sunglasses from other brands. Beware of using this site.

I’ve been really looking forward to the time when I buy my new pair of eyeglasses ever since I’ve laid eyes on these frames! I am a big fan of round glasses and I found the havana/gold combination very nice.

Ultimately, however, buying these glasses was a mistake. I have the 49 (standard) version, not the 47 (small) and my face is quite large so, I figured this would be the size for me. While the frame has quite a modern classic feel to it and while it does a good job of framing my face, there are several issues with the sizing.

The bridge (21) is too wide to offer sufficient support on the nose, given that the frame has no pads. This lack of supportive pads also brings the lens and the large frame itself very close to the eyes and the face.

What this results in is my eyebrows touching the lenses and getting them dirty. Also the upper parts of my cheeks have no room because of the lower parts of the frame. Ultimately, this is a frame that looks good but fails at its most important job: to offer comfort and support.

If it had pads, that would fix all of the problems. As sunglasses they are probably fine, though, as sunglasses are only for temporary use. As glasses you intend to wear all day, for most of your week, I cannot recommend this frame.

I had been looking for frames as my optician didn’t have a great range and the designer ones were very expensive. When I found these they were just the shape I required and lightweight so I don’t feel a heaviness on the bridge of my nose.

So happy I found a great company selling frames at a great price. It worked out with relensing at half the opticians quote.

I’m gonna be straight forward and say that these glasses aren’t exactly like what is shown on the models. They are not as big or wide. I do really like them though. The quality as far as that goes, is great.

They’re really cute even though, as I said, they are a lot narrower than I had expected. If you have a more narrow face, I definitely recommend these. I wish the photos advertised were more accurate or showed how they look on different shaped faces.

Love how light and clear this pair of glasses is! My eyes feel so good even after a day of being on the computer with these babies on. Also, makes me feel like I’m Harry Potter so that’s a plus. Overall, super excited and blessed with these glasses.

I took a chance on these and my expectations were met. The glasses feel sturdy and they’re comfortable to wear. While stylish, they also are practical. I went with the blue light blockers and they seem to be working well.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for affordable and fashionable glasses.

The Jack Optics are incredibly comfortable. I never touched the adjustable nose pads, and they fit perfectly right out of the box. Very lightweight, with solid craftsmanship. And to top all that quality experience, their lenses are great! I selected the base options for lenses and still rarely get dirty, minor smug during daily wear, and the prescription quality is spot on.

The metal quality is very cheap to me. Glasses don’t have any weight I thought they were plastic at first. But description says metal. (I guess). I have same exact style of frames bought from another brand and they are better bigger and real metal.

Not very happy with these. But love the shape. Very different.

I bought just the frames because I already had these in a different color. Silver works with the rest of my jewelry lol. Really nice, like the round glasses but with a slight geometric difference

I’m absolutely happy with this frame! I actually went to a few stores to find this frame. I was able to find it but I didn’t like the color of gunmetal. Not to mention it’s a medium and It didn’t really fit me.

Luckily I went with the shiny black frame, they also had my size large. I wasn’t much hopeful because I didn’t like the gunmetal much. I’m so glad i choice it before it sold out, I’m so happy with these glasses.

I’ve never tried round frames until I saw these, I recommend it! It’s not for everyone but it really goes well, people don’t even notice I’m wearing glasses. It’s just that stylish, thank you GlassesUSA!!.

I chose express shipping ($10) since I’m impatient but it was worth it! They came within the time frame they said the glasses would. The glasses exactly as described and my prescription and measurements were perfectly on point.

I wasn’t sure if they were a bit tight on my face but I think I was just used to my old loose glasses that would fall off my face. Overall, I recommend buying these glasses or from this website in general.

I added sun lenses to these frames and they’re honestly the best sunglasses I’ve ever had. They have a really classic look but they’re not too big/oversized on my face, which is a problem I’ve had in the past with some Ray-Bans.

The metal detailing has a really nice, classic appeal. I got the brown, classic sun tint.

As a gal with high cheek bones I usually can only sport smaller square frames, but I’ve always looked longingly at the circular larger frames. I decided to take a gamble because clearly’s return policy is great, and I wasn’t disappointed, right out of the case they fit, with enough space for me to smile without my cheeks moving the frames.

I usually have to bend the arms to make glasses stay on my face because I have a smaller head, I didn’t have to with these, and I didn’t have to adjust the bridge arms either. Forgive my photo I don’t take selfies.

This is probably my fifteenth pair of Ray-Ban’s but by far my most favorite. Something about the fit is both flattering and functional. They’re great for any occasion really: dressing up, dressing down.

Second time to order my prescription glasses from FD because they have the best prices compare to local stores. You can tell Persol make everlasting frames as well. 5 star for the frames. As for lenses, I ordered Hi Index 1.

67 w/ Premium AR and Transition Lens. It is noticeable lighter from my previous order w/c Poly-carbonate lens. The only question is the AR premium is likely similar to standard AR it is still getting oil and smudge that is not easy to clean but in terms of Scratch resistance it is superb coating since my first order I got was free from scratch after 2 years and its worth it.

These glasses look great and feel light. However, i paid the extra cost to have the lens reduced in thickness and it does not appear to be any different than my old pair of glasses that did not have the lens reduction.

Perfect in every way. Lightweight and sturdy. Fits snugly to my relatively narrow face. Quality look and feel. I can’t say enough about these glasses. Best glasses I have ever owned. And the price is unbelievable.

these frames feel pretty sturdy based on how lightweight they are. no nose pads but I prefer glasses without them. I have a more round face so I wasn’t sure they would look good but I absolutely love them.

EBD did a good job of making high-index. Polarized. Sun lenses in my prescription fit this frame without sticking out at all (a feat due to my high prescription). The color of this frame material looks very good.

A little more dynamic than a solid black. I had initially feared it might be slightly greenish as it appeared that it was possible on my monitor but it\’s a nice monochrome dark gray (it may look lighter and higher-contrast in the product shots because of the studio lighting).

My only concern/complaint is that the hinges seem to be the simplest. Smallest. And most basic barrel design that could ever be. The RFLKT collection claims it has special. High-end hardware but as far as I can tell: the hinges are identical to their low-cost frames.

This will be fairly easy for maintenance but I guess I\’d hope for more robust barrels.

I have been wanting James Dean style glasses for years. Since I love vintage style glasses. I have a pair of half plastic. Half metal frames. Very “Mad Men” style. But James Dean’s style I have been wanting too.

I needed another pair. So I could switch out them out from time to time. All the others I have seen were either too expensive or too cheaply made. I saw the price and review of these and I ordered a pair and fell in love with them almost instantly.

Being a woman with a tomboy side. I’m not crazy about super girly or feminine frames. I prefer men’s or unisex. I get complements on these glasses all the time. As well as my others. Great style. Fit and quality!.

I now own 24 pairs of glasses from EBD (yes. Really). This Method pair is far and away my favorite. The 3-star review asking for mor sizes is unfair. Most frames only come in one size. Note that the person actually likes the frame.

If I were to ask for anything. It would be more colors. And I\’d buy it in every single color! That\’s not a reason to subtract stars from the review. Though. Five stars is an understatement. Should be 50.

This one is pure class. Somehow. The rich. Lighter brown color coupled with the darker brown arms–with the arms attaching a little higher than is usual with a small round frame–makes it look incredibly classy and rich.

At my eye doctor. A pair this beautiful would be about $240. The color is a slightly streaky transparent brown on the front. And solid transparent dark brown on the sides–exactly as it appears in the photos.

I wouldn\’t call it tortoise. It\’s a beautifully designed. High quality frame. I normally wear small sized glasses from EBD. But this one fits better than any other. I have another frame (Jasmine) that appears smaller than this one on the face.

The XS Dame frame also appears smaller on the face than this one. Though it measures bigger. I think with the non-oversized round ones. You can go smaller and they actually look better that way. I just absolutely love it.

I\’ll probably buy another pair with upgraded lenses. As I will be wearing this a ton. And I fear. With so few reviews. They might discontinue it. I\’ll also be doing a video review on YouTube in a couple weeks.

So if you\’re interested. Look for that. Might just add another review here with the link. Which will help to offset the low score by the other person who actually liked the frame. By the way. Total width of this frame is 122mm.

The price point for these glasses is amazing. Keep in mind they do feel a little flimsy. I feel like I might have to be more careful with them than other pairs I own. The other potential downside is that the color of the pink isn\’t quite as bright and pink in person as compared to photos.

(Even comes out brighter in cell phone pictures) I\’d describe it as a light frosted berry color in person. I believe that these are the most inexpensive pair I\’ve purchased from eyebuydirect. And they are one of my favorite pairs.

In spite of the minor things I mentioned. They\’re definitely going to be a part of my regular rotation. They\’re right up their with my favorite pair Muse in floral. I would recommend them to people who are a fan of big grams and want to add a little popof color to their collection of eyeglasses!.

I got a size large in the matte pink and these are my favorite glasses that I\’ve ever owned. They\’re lightweight. But they don\’t feel flimsy. I have a large head so I was afraid they\’d feel tight.

But instead they\’re comfortable as well as extremely secure. I was worried that. As a pale freckled girl. The pink would bring out the red blotchiness of my skin. But it doesn\’t at all. (Second picture features no makeup to prove it).

The pink is also pretty mellow and earthy. So it feels very natural wearing them. Even though they\’re obviously statement-worthy in cuteness. Love the shape too. Very flattering. And I was very happy with the service and the quickness of delivery (9 days)!.

These frames were super affordable which was why I purchased in the first place. I have had them for about 3 days now. And wore them to work for the first time yesterday. Everyone at work was floored by how cute they are and started looking on the website to find their own.

I have bought many pairs of glasses from Clearly, because they stock my size. I love the ‘my fit’ option which helps to narrow down the selection to the small frames that will fit my small face. The Edith glasses are a great fit and I like the ‘violet fade’ colour.

I would have given 5 stars if they had spring hinges.

At -12, my prescription is so strong that any glasses and lenses I’ve had take over my face; I’ve always had to choose between thin lenses and stylish frames. I’ve been wearing contact lenses for over 10 years and only wear glasses to sleep and on Sundays.

With these frames and the ultra-thin lenses, I’m finding myself wearing glasses way more often-to work, out with friends. I love them! They look great, they’re light and comfortable, and it doesn’t look like I’m wearing bottle caps.

I just received these glasses and sadly they are too wide for my face width. It is unfortunate because the color and style are really nice and the bridge is good for a narrow nose, but they do fit wider for even a narrow face.

Also the frames do not have spring hinges and are very wide. They do not hug the side of your face at all and is very loose. It is unfortunate that Clearly does not offer a bigger selection in petite frames.

There are few or no frames in the kids category.

I have 2 pairs of the GLCO Kinney clip-on sunglasses and I use one or the other with my Kinney frames almost daily. They look great but the issue is that the tension from the clip ons eventually wears down the nose bridge.

About a year after typical daily wear (I don’t play sports in them and am not rough with my glasses), the bridge started to show tiny cracks. Shortly thereafter, the frames just split down the middle at the nose.

I wouldn’t worry about the longevity of these frames if you don’t use the clip ons. If you do, take note of the aforementioned. I’m now on my 2nd pair of Kinney frames so I’m clearly a GLCO fan. I just wish they lasted longer when using them with the clip-ons.

I love the Kinney but my first pair only lasted a year and a half with normal daily wear. (I’m not rough with my glasses. ) The issue: with regular use of the Kinney clip-on sunglasses, the frames didn’t last long.

The clip-ons put pressure on each side of the frame so, over time, the frame’s nose bridge started to show small cracks from the clip-on tension until the frame eventually just fell apart – no exaggeration.

I’m not ready to give up on the style or convenience of not needing separate pairs of eyeglasses and sunglasses yet so I bought another pair. If there was nose bridge reinforcement in the frame and longevity, I’d give this 5 stars.

I thought I would love the semi-transparent frame material, but I’ve found my foundation sometimes gets on the interior and causes the frames to appear smudgey on the surface. I end up having to clean these much more frequently than my last pair of eyeglasses.

That being said, these glasses came with a nice cleaning cloth that has been helpful. I do like how the pale color doesn’t wash my pale face out; it suits me nicely. I recommend these frames for anyone who doesn’t cake their makeup on their face.

I was worried when I bought these for a few reasons. 1. Ive never bought glasses online before 2. I\’ve only ever worn plastic square frames 3. They\’re red. When I got these glasses and tried them on.

I could see perfectly. They fit so comfortably and surprisingly are super cute on my face even though theyre rounded. They\’re my first metal frames but the nose piece doesnt bother me at all like I thought it would.

They\’re actually much more comfortable than plastic frames. If you\’re looking at these glasses. Just buy them.

They came early than expected. I never used a round frame. Nor red. They are awesome. The color. They are super comfort because of the thin frame but strong at the same time. I would give them 10 stars.

Also the blue shield to use with computer is perfect.

These are so cute! The part of the frame that goes around your eyes is much bigger than the pictures on the models or the virtual try on suggested. They are very comfortable and they fit my face perfectly otherwise in terms of width of my face.
