20 Best Eyebrow Tint For Professionals (2023 Updated)

I really like this and it saves doing my brows everyday. I got the light brown, although I’d wish they’d do blonde with a more ashy undertone. The light brown is warm undertones which is fine for me as my hair is a natural warm blonde but currently bleach very cold blonde.

I put this on, leave it 45 mins and peel off. Lasts 4 days, on the 4th day it’s def faded but it works. Doesn’t stain my skin or look weird between hairs. If you get it in your skin just remove it with a qtip.

They def need to bring out more of a color selection as I can see why people have commented on having ginger eyebrows as warm light brown for example tends to be more on the red side.

I could not find this maybelline tattoo brow in my area. I had to order it off of Amazon and it was around $15. It is a pretty thick liquid that you apply to the shape you want on your brows. When it dries down it is almost like a latex type consistency that you peel off.

It didn’t pull out any of my hairs. It definitely leaves a good stain of color. Didn’t come off unless I scrubbed it. I would caution that if the latex feeling part you pull off gets wet then it turns to liquid again so that can get messy.

The color I bought is a little too auburn for me, but I would try this again in a different color. Wish I could find it locally.

A few weeks ago I got my brows tinted upon a whim (I went in foe a clean up via threading). There was a Groupon apparently and the line-up of Groupon-clad Queens waiting their turn convinced me. I actually loved it.

My brows are pretty full and dark to begin with but I enjoyed that added darkness and definition it gave me. I was disappointed when after 4 days it disappeared (you get what you pay for, they did say).

My eyebrows are a source of contention- inner me refers to myself as Nomorebrowski for spite. As I have aged my eyebrows have become thinner, lighter, and moved slightly south. I used to have perfect eyebrows -I never even had to shape them! In hindsight, I should have appreciated them more.

I have tried everything -pencil, gel, pomade, powder not to say they aren’t all great products in their own right, but it is an artistic ability that I do not possess to make any of that look close to natural eyebrows.

So I was both pessimistic and hopeful when I found this product. My mom, a retired beauty professional, helped me do this the first time, as I had no clue what I was doing – turns out this is something I can do myself! It took about 15 minutes total for prep, application, sitting time, and removal.

You mix a powder developer. Getting the mixture off places I didn’t want it was a sinch with a q-tip. I was extremely relieved and pleased with the results. The difference is subtle and natural. It looks like my old brows are back (except for the southern relocation)! I can still enhance them if I want (I am digging powder for that right now) or leave them as-is for a completely natural look.

I am not sure how long they last, yet. I will try to remember to update you on that and how the second application by myself goes. I had no sensitivity issues with this, though I would recommend you read the back about possible allergies allergic reactions.

The only thing that could improve this product would be to include something in the kit to measure what needs to be mixed to ensure a precise mixture ratio and thereby optimum tinting. I will use it again and hope it will be my forever brow care.

I recommend this for a natural-looking brow option. The top photo is after (ignore the broken blood vessel on my eyeball I woke up with[no clue why] and that I had just-out-of-the-shower-unbrushed brows) and the bottom is before.

It brought out those nearly invisible brow hairs that old me now possess.

I normally choose shades like “espresso” but for this I got the color “light” which has a cool undertone because holy cow, it’s DARK. Like espresso dark. I don’t know if it’s a glitch but I’d err on the side of going a shade lighter than you’re used to in this brow tint.

I LOVE the formula and the TINY applicator. I do wipe it off a little before applying the product and always start near the arch, reserving the inner brow for last so there’s less product deposited. This makes doing my brows super quick and easy! The price can’t be beat for the quality and ease of use.

Once dry, it holds my brows in place all day. No smearing or flaking even when I’m sweating in the Midwest heat and humidity. I highly recommend!.

I’m used to filling in my brows daily. I have fairly thick eyebrows, but they are a bit then on the arch and tail so I’m always using brow pomade or a brow pencil to fill in those areas. This is the first time I’ve tinted my brows and it was super easy and straightforward.

I got shade medium brown, and I got worried after I first applied the product because it looked very dark and had blue/purple undertones. But after 10 minutes I wiped it off and my brows look great! The shade was perfect.

The results look natural, and my brows look full. I highly recommend this! Just be sure to read the instructions carefully and to take your time. I also used a small angled brush to apply the product in addition to the spoolie that comes in the kit, and that helped a lot.

A good brow gel doesn’t have to be high end. I’ve repurchased this one several times over the years because it is reliable and makes my brows look great and will probably continue to. For context, I have very dark brown brows (cool, almost black) that are pretty full on their own, but benefit from a little filling in.

I use this alone on simpler makeup days, or I use it over my ABH powder or pencil for a bolder look. Either way this stuff is great! The formula has no fibers and the Pigment is perfect, not too strong or too weak.

One tube lasts forever so it is very cost effective. I’ve used the shades Brunette and Black and I prefer the Black. It isn’t truly black like regular mascara, more like a true cool, deep brown, which is what I need for my coloring.

I’ve been using NYX Tinted Eyebrow Mascara for a few years now. I am a natural blonde and I use the Blonde shade of the Eyebrow Mascara. I had a hard time finding an eyebrow tint that was not too dark for my complexion so I was so pleased when I tried NYX Tinted Eyebrow Mascara and it was perfect for my light complexion.

The mascara adds just enough hold so that I don’t feel like my eyebrows are going to go wild during the day, but it does not make them stiff or sticky as some other products that I tried do. One quick swipe on each eyebrow and I’m good to go.

I apply foundation, blush, and setting powder and then swipe on the NYX Eyebrow Mascara. Great product at a great price.

This line of lash and brow tints is very good. I keep a card on every client that does it. When they come in, I ask how they liked the color. Then I adjust the formula or the timing if necessary. It’s not usually necessary.

The color is usually perfect and lasts until their next visit.

Have always loved these. You can mix colors together to get the perfect shade-add just a bit of Auburn to the browns to make them warmer-Perfection. And I like that you can leave them on longer to become a richer color that lasts longer for the client.

Like all tints, it will adhere to dry skin. I put layer of powder around brows first and it helps. Still tints brows, but less to remove from skin.

Love this product. Easy to use smooth creamy texture! Does a great job on lashes and eyebrows. Been using it for over 10 years and continue to love it! The outcome is always beautiful.

Great eyebrow coloring product that works exceptionally well. I don’t think there is anything like this on the internet or in the stores. It colored my eyebrows a nice, natural shade of brown and got completely rid of the grey.

And, yes, I admit it. I’m a guy who just wants to keep looking young and it did the job perfectly. Just follow the instructions and you should get excellent results too! It takes a little time and effort to put it on.

But who the heck cares? This product is fantastic. I’m certain you will love the results. I also applied the product 10 days ago and the color has not faded at all and no grey has reappeared–not even one speck! What can I say? I’ll buy it over and over again to keep the grey out of the eyebrows.

Great product. I have very light eyebrow hairs and have used Godefroy for years. This is the newest product I have bought from them – I was old school with the other Godefroy dye kit (the capsules and peroxide) and didn’t know what to make of this one.

I am sure this version has been on the market for years but again I am old dog and this would be new trick for me 😊 I am very glad I made the purchase. The instructions are super clear and easy to follow along – Godefroy minimized errors.

To get the color I wanted I needed two applications. The new applicator is awesome. I was skeptical at first but the plastic thin spatula does the trick in applying enough dye that will not drip onto your lid or nose.

This “gel” is very thick and stays put. It works in seconds. I have strawberry blond hair and selected Light Brown. I hope this helps.

It’s very easy to use but I’m only giving the product four stars. The first applicaiotn didn’t dye my brows as light brown as expected. However it did dye them. I hope when I use the second packet in 4 weeks that I will get a lighter brown that I wanted.

Did not expect the dye to turn black when I put the developer on – so that scared me! But once I wiped it all off all was well! Felt like I should have left it on longer than instructed to get a lighter dye.

I bought this when I shaved half my brows off and used it to draw little hairs and it was great. It’s not super waterproof but I never found it to be a problem (honestly it’s kind of better that way when you’re learning).

One day I wanted to do eyeliner but didn’t have any on me, so I tried this and did a wing. It was easier than any other eyeliner I had used to do a wing. Even the KVD one that people love doesn’t come out easily enough.

The brush is so thin and the ink flow is good that I can easily do wings. It takes a little more work to fill them in because it is thin, but I’d rather take the time to fill them in than have to redraw them multiple times or drag a product that won’t flow across my delicate eyelids.

The only drawback is they don’t make black, but hopefully they will widen their color range!.

I have the shade Espresso, and I’ve been enjoying this! Unfortunately, I can’t compare it to any other brow pen/brow marker because this is the first one I’ve ever used, but YouTubers I watch (Kelly Gooch, Andrea Matillano) have compared it to the Urban Decay Brow Blade.

It has a brush tip with individual bristles — sort of like a brush tip eyeliner but much less pigmented. It does definitely take some practice to get really thin hairlike strokes since I only need the *tiniest* bit of pressure to match my naturally fine brow hairs.

I’ve found that I always end up doing my right brow better than my left because I’m right-handed. If I’m only filling in a tiny bit of sparseness after using a brow pencil, then I don’t need to spoolie or anything, but if I’m going in with this brow pen with brow pencil underneath, then I do need to use a spoolie to make it look less harsh/more natural — especially because the shade is a little off.

The shade is a little too warm brown on my naturally black hair. For shade reference, I am East Asian and use Soft Black in Colourpop products and Ebony in ABH products. It’s also not waterproof, so that’s something to keep in mind! It wears fine throughout the day, but I have dry skin.

(Full disclosure: I’m also using a brow gel in the photo. My left brow is the more prominent one in the photo, and you can see how the pen strokes are thicker than my own brow hairs. ).

This is the BEST, ABSOLUTELY BEST brow product around. I’m a HUGE a brow person! I have tried lots of different brow products over the years, and this product is beats everything I have ever tried. If you like the Urban Decay brow blade, you NEED to try this, because this does exactly what the brow blade does but at a fraction of the cost.

This product doesn’t come with a pencil like the brow blade does, but for the cost and the way in which you can create hair like strokes you won’t need a pencil. I use a spoolie to comb through the strokes that look a little harsh and it blends seamlessly.

I get a lot of compliments on my eyebrows, so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product. This has become a staple in my makeup routine.

I have used the previous version of this product very happily for many years. This new one comes in a slightly smaller box, now containing two tubes and a brow wand. So this review is about how they differ and also to talk about how the new version compares.

The box contains everything you need except swabs for wiping the product off when done. The mixing rod from the original has gone which is a shame. Mixing with the brow wand is not the easiest, so I would recommend an old lolly stick or similar for the task.

The instructions are straightforward, and measuring product from each of the tubes is easier than the previous one. A thorough application of the tint mixture is vital, and be sure to wipe off any stray, because it WILL tint even the tiniest hairs if not.

It seems my brow hairs must be thicker than average, because I have to leave the mixture on for 10 minutes longer than advised in the instructions to achieve the colour coverage I want. This was true of both old and new versions.

I love this product, have been using it for a few years and will continue to do so. My only niggle is the loss of the mixing stick in the new version, otherwise this works as well as it did before.

I have been tinting my eyebrows for the past 13 or so years and always use a professional eyebrow tint in dark brown as a beauty therapist I can just do it at work. I was very excited to see something like this on the market to offer up to six weeks coverage that someone could use at home after cleansing my face and drying my skin I applied Vaseline around my brows to act as a barrier to protect the skin around my brows from being stained as you would with a professional tint and as it said on the instructions to do so.

Following the instructions I squeezed out 2 cm of the Dark Brown tint it and applied five drops of the activator to the 10 and mixed it with the one in a little plastic dish provided and applied to my brows.

The tint did not have any smell which I liked and felt comfortable on my skin I left it on for 15 minutes which was the maximum time they recommend to leave on your brows. After removing the tint with with water I noticed it had covered the couple of white hairs I do have in my brown and my brows had a brown tinge to them but they still looked gappy and I didn’t get that full coverage affect that I usually get from a professional tint.

Personally I like my brows to be filled in and when I tint them myself with the professional tint at work it doesn’t leave any gaps and the brows appear more filled in however the Eylure tint did cover the greys so for someone that just wanted it for that use that would be good for them or for someone that doesn’t so much of a full coverage tint and more natural I would recommend that for them.

I will be interested to see how long it lasts and if it lasts up to the six weeks. Update on my brows, After a week the white hairs through my brows are still tinted however I’ve needed to fill in my brows with a brow pencil to touch up the gaps.

Update since tinting my own brows I tinted my sisters who was due to have hers tinted by me at the salon, she has the same hair colour as me and is the shade she would usually have. I followed the steps again, applied Vaseline around the brows, squeezed 2cm of tint into the plastic bowl provided and added 5 drops of the oxidant and mixed with a disposable mascara wand.

I left it on for 15 mins to get maximum results unfortunately it was again underwhelming the tint was very subtle tinting some lighter hairs but again there was definitely not a great noticeable difference.

I have very light natural eyebrows and bought this product to dye them a nice brown. I’ve used this product twice within 5 months and after my second use I noticed bald patches in my eyebrows, the product would dye my skin more than my eyebrow hairs despite applying Vaseline on prior to application not to mention this product stings when it is on.

And because of this it’s not worth the little reward – the product doesn’t even mention you need to buy the activator as well. Overall a bit disappointed in the product and recommend you don’t waste your money.

Henna was no longer working on the greys i had in my brows. After some researching i decided trying this product and i could not be happier with results. So simple to use with great results. I am now trying to find the best shade by mixing natural and light brow… i would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wishes grey coverage and prolonged results.

I randomly bought this a few years back because I was tired of spending so much money to get my brows professionally done, and I was seriously blown away by this! I have used it for 5 years now, and I will never look for something better, because this might just be? 😉 So easy to apply with a brow brush, let it sit for 5 minutes and my brows look professionally touched up.

I have black, thick eyebrows, which I color green or blue – for this, of course, I have to bleach them first. With Refecto Cil Blonde Brow I get them blonded evenly within 10 minutes, without burning or other side effects.

I have fair skin and really light brown eyebrows that are thin, not sparse, just thin. I have tried a lot of different brow makeup and because of how thin my brows are and how fair my skin is, almost everything is too heavy and the shades never match.

This gave me a very natural look, it was super easy to apply, almost foolproof. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because as soon as I washed my face, most of it came off and I was under the impression it would last a couple of days.

I am going to try wearing it overnight, wash my face in the morning, and see if it just needed to set longer.

I love the RevitaLash Cosmetics Hi-Def Brow Gel because it makes my thinning brows look natural. MUCH more natural than what I can do with a brow pencil. Plus, it stays on all day! Be sure to swipe the brush all the way against your skin so that the gel can fill in the space where hair is missing.

If any gel gets above or below the brow line, I just swipe it off with a cotton-tip. I highly recommend this product.

I’ve been using the Revitalash Hi Definition Brow Gel for several years now and have re-purchased it many times. Luv it and I’m very happy with this product as it’s the perfect shade and works well for me.

The gel picks up all tiny and fine hairs making your brows look fuller and when brushed through the brows look natural and definitely defined. It doesn’t smudge and stays in place all day until I remove my makeup.

I’ve tried henna before and the color has been ‘off’ or too light. I was amazed at how natural this dark brown looks. It also lasts a very long time ~ 3 weeks which was great. So the henna itself is 5 stars!!However, applying it is a real pain.

Maybe other people have a better technique to make it less messy but I don’t think it will ever be easy. This package comes with 3 separate ziplocked powdered color packets. The packets are very small.

Once you open it you place what you need in a small provided plastic container and mix the powder with a small spoon they give you, too. What I soon realized is that you really want a paste like consistency so it will stick to your hair.

However, I put too much water and had to add a lot more henna powder to compensate. This resulted in using more than I wanted and wasting a lot of powder 🙁 So use very little water in the beginning then slowly add powder as you need it.

The great thing is that once you make your mix you don’t need a lot. I think each packet could do 3-4 applications if you are careful. Another thing is I wish the company provided a small brush to mix and apply it to your eyebrows more accurately and make it less messy.

Slopping it on and mixing with the spoon was very clumsy. I will use one of my own brushes in future applications but this is something the manufacturer might consider.

It adds color, but more importantly it pumps up the volume by adhering directly to your existing brow hairs, creating a much more natural effect than eyebrow pencils and gels can achieve. She uses the wand to fill in the line of her brow, applying the color right onto the skin where she needs help (with a careful hand, or you’ll overdo it).

She brushes up once and then down once. She drags the wand straight down along the outer edge. Shr uses a separate spoolie to clean up the line, brush any unruly hairs into place, and then let it set.

It takes five minutes and most days she doesnt need a separate pencil. She has a scar in one brow, bald spots and a few “crazy hairs”, This product has improved her brow game 1000%. She said she recommends it.

I really love brow gels, mostly when they are tinted since they are great for on-the-go. I have been using this brow gel for years and I dont think I will be picking a different one soon. For application, I love having two different colors, one (the same shade as my brow hairs) is for the end of my brows and the other one is a lighter shade that I like to apply at the front of my brow toward my nose to keep it natural and light.

If you are planning to buy a brow gel to keep it simple, light, and natural, I would recommend getting a shade lighter. Since it might be a little too harsh if you apply the same brow gel color throughout the brow and it can appear darker.

And then of course I would blend those two colors with a clean spoolie. That is my personal preference, If I am really late I will just apply the lighter brow gel throughout my whole brow and it will do a great job doing so.

I do want to disclaim that I didnt buy two different brow gels because I couldnt find my shade but merely because I like a lighter shade in the front of my brow so it wouldnt look so harsh. As for the applicator,I love the little stiff spoolie! It is great for targeting your brow hairs for which one to coat.

I usually use a light hand when using this product, I like to coat up for a feathery look and then follow the brush toward the end of my brows. I have used other brow gels before and in my experience, I felt like they have flaked on me and left my upper lid and even below my eyes dark which isnt cute.

This brow gel however doesnt flake and sets in my brow gel well. The color is great for my brows and it compliments my hair and skin color well. Overall, I think this is a great brow gel and I definitely do recommend picking one up!.

It is a challenge to find a brow gel if you have very light blonde hair. I want my eyebrows to match my hair color, I don’t do dark eyebrows. This eyebrow gel has a light-medium hold, nothing special about it, it is an okay hold.

It is tinted, and long-wearing, it does not smudge. My shade is Blonde-Golden Taupe, which is very warm medium golden blonde. I like the shimmering finish, and I was using similiar product prior this ABH.

I liked the Sephora one better, cause it was lighter, but it was discontinued. I need a cool-toned super light blonde shade, not orange, not taupe grey, not light dirty brown! It is impossible to find it, so I might buy this ABH again, cause I do not know any better options available rn.

This brow tint is easy to mix and prepare. Applicator is comfortable but I find the mixture a bit clumpy even tho I mix it well and long before application. The tint is very pigmented, after cleaning off the tint I can see my eyebrows are coloured well and bright.

Eyebrows look natural and not over coloured. It leaves stains on the skin very easily therefore it’s must to clean off immediately the tint around eyebrows. I like the most about this product that if the tint is too dark, it’s easy to remove some shade down with cotton and soap.

Minus for this product I do not like that it lasts shorter that’s why I would not replace it with my regular brand.

I was dubious about this product as I have tried similar in the past without much luck. This was so easy to mix and simple to apply, the little brush makes it easy to apply to your brows and make sure you get even coverage.

No potent chemical smell either so it does not burn your eyes while you wait. I left mine for the min of 5 minutes just to test the colour intensity. I am very pleased with the results. I have blonde hair so my eye brows are very light and most of the time you cant even see them.

I now have dark blonde brows and they look amazing! People noticed right away. I’m so chuffed. The colour is very natural looking for my skin tone and hair colour. Application couldn’t have been easier and I love how quick the results were.

My eyebrows are very fair and I’ve been tinting them for at least the last 20 years. I normally just use the colorsport tint, but was attracted by the claim of this kit that claimed you could adjust the darkness of the brows based on how long you leave the dye on.

Was a bit surprised by the ‘colour cream’ when squeezing this into the mixing bowl: a cream and a lot of brown liquid. I mixed this with the developer solution and applied, waiting 4 minutes (1 minute for lightest colour, 5 for darkest).

I washed off the colour and…no change to my brow colour whatsoever ( which is quite impressive, given that my brow hairs are effectively translucent). I’ve tried this a second time with much the same effect, so not sure who this product would be suitable for, but definitely not me!.

After reading the reviews I was unsure how effective the tint would be but I thought it was worth a try as I have blonde non existent brows. I’ve always used the eyelure tint but recently it has been completely rubbish so I thought I’d give it a shot.

I have blonde eyebrows, and I have been on a long journey to have natural dark brown eyebrows. Having tried other products, this is the best I have found. Every 2 weeks, I dye both eyebrows at the same time for 4 minutes.

Immediately afterwards, it appears very little has changed, but the following day you see the dye DID have an impact.

The product arrived and it wasn’t a kit it was just the tint. I was expecting the activator, a small pot for mixing and a brush to apply the mixed tint and it wasn’t it was just a tube of tint. However, as I had some 10 volume peroxide I was able to use the tint to mix with this to be able to use it on my eyebrows.

The tint is a good product, but your site needs to clearly explain what the customer will actually recieve as this was clearly not a kit as described.

I have been looking for an eyebrow/eyelash tint dye for over a year and a half, since my usual shop brought tint had changed their product which failed to tint. I have purchased a few others online which again failed to tint.

I thought I’d try this brand, and it works fantastic! Excellent product for dark tinting naturally light eyebrows/eyelashes.

Tried to mix the dye to a consistency suitable for eyelashes, but the mixture did not stick to the lashes so dyeing was unsuccessful at every attempt (seven times). Buyers should note that on eyebrows, the dye only tints the eyebrow hair, not the skin below.

(It produces an excellent colour on the hair). I did not realise that only the hair itself would be coloured when I bought it. I’ve since bought a product that also tints the skin underneath. I accidentally smeared some on my skin when applying, but it washed off easily with soap and water.

No issues with Julienne’s safety. I did the skin test first. A decent product, but not quite what I was looking for.

Perfect for hiding my blonde (and white!) hairs and actually giving me eyelashes and eyebrows I can see. I prefer the mixing method which this is and I cannot find in the shops these days. Leave on for ten minutes and no mascara is needed! I buy brown for eyebrows and blue/black for my eyelashes.

It costs around 10-20 for each treatment at beauty salons. I can treat my eyelashes and eyebrows up to ten times with each kit, working out costing around 90p a time. Love this and would recommend to all.

I’ve used this product many times and it’s so easy to use. The product itself is fantastic hence why I only use this one. Highly recommended.
