What’s great about the Tom Ford Brow Gelcomb is that it plumps and defines the brow – ensuring that the hair looks thicker and smoother. I like to brush the hair up – coating it from root to tip. Although the gel looks like it’s tinted, it’s not.
It’s a pretty thick liquid but brushes through with ease, but be careful not to overdo it as the gel will dry hard and brittle. However, it keeps it’s hold throughout the day and can be washed out easily with your normal face wash at night.
It’s not the cheapest product on the market when it comes to brow gels…but you really are paying for the name Tom Ford. Although the packaging is sleek, expensive looking and has an easy-to-use turn click mechanism, there are so many more cheaper alternatives on the market right now.
I believe this particular brow gel product has been discontinued and TF have released an up-to-date version which I can’t wait to try!.

This new tinted gel formula is heavier/clumpier/flakes off and not natural looking. Old version was so quick, easy, natural, and buildable color darkness. The new TINY applicator is harder to use. I tried using my own wand that is adult size, but the gel is nowhere as good.
If this is the same tinted gel formula, something is wrong with the bottle. I tried 6 different bottles of this to ensure I didn’t just get a dud, but all were clumpy and heavy. Loyal user of this product for decades and adapted to changes with the applicator wand/spoolie over time, like when the ball was added to the end of the spoolie wand applicator.
I remained loyal and ended up loving the ball at the end of the applicator because it applied the gel on the brow hairs better. I could swipe it on fast & light or swipe it on fast & build layers of color to make darker dramatic brows when wanted.
I am so lost now. I want to remain loyal to Maybelline, but I can’t find a way to make this work. More expensive brands were not as good as the previous versions of Maybelline’s Brow Drama Sculpting Eyebrow Mascara, and I will pay a higher price to get the old version back!.
For someone who uses minimal makeup (mostly just eyelash mascara) and no hair dye, eyebrow mascara is a great find. I celebrate the gray/silver in my hair but not so much in my eyebrows! Instead of tweezing eyebrow hair, I tried cutting the gray out but end up with uneven brows.
Eyebrow pencils result in a fake-looking effect. Finally, a solution: eyebrow mascara in perfect black/brown. One star removed because I think the brush might be angled for better application. Sometimes I need to dab at the results with a finger or tissue, and so may try another brand for improvement.
Worth the monies! Bought the blonde color based on a Youtuber’s recommendation, Emily Noel. Covers the gray hairs, grooms the strays and looks good. It is easy and quick to apply. It dries to a taupe-y light brown color and blends well with the makeup look, which is mostly every day work makeup.
Saving time as we no longer stress about tinting the grays and don’t have to pencil/draw the eyebrows any more – it covers the hairs and they appear thicker and fuller. Not sure if this is the best product for ppl with very sparse/no hairs though.

i received this clear brow gel in my Target Holiday Glam Co-Op Voxbox complimentary from influenster ✨ i loved this so much! this is super easy to use, the wand is amazing; it’s long and it make it easy to brush up your whole eyebrow faster! since this is clear it gives a natural effect and i love that.
this helps keep my eyebrows in place all day long and gives my eyebrows a nice laminated effect. i’ve always had a problem with my eyebrow hairs not staying in place and this really helps with grooming my brows in a way that makes them look really naturally polished.
i brush my eyebrows up in strokes a couple of times and my eyebrows instantly look nice, fresh and complete after applying it. when i’m first applying this it makes my eyebrows look wet but it dries down super quickly! it does make my eyebrow feel a bit hard/stiff but that’s not something that bothers me; personally i like that it makes them feel that way because it feels like my eyebrows are frozen into place and won’t be moving.
this leaves no residue or flakes. this has chamomile in it, which i’ve heard helps soften and condition brow hairs, most cheaper alternatives don’t contain any skincare ingredients so i love that this does.
it also contains hylauronic acid which is great. this is great to use on both makeup and no makeup days. brow gels are a must have product for me and i really love this one! this is something I personally see myself purchasing in the future.
I absolutely love ABH Brow products!! They have the most amazing brow pomade, I love the brow freeze powder the same is true for this clear brow gel! I like using the pomade then following up with the powder then the clear brow gel last.
I love how much better my brows look when you use gel last because it keeps them all brushed in the right direction in place they just look so much more kept up token care of. I used to just do pomade powder that was it but when I discovered the gel my brow game was on point!! If I’m being totally honest, I do prefer a different brand of clear brow gel over this one just because it holds better it creates the brush through but sleek look that I love.
This product is a close second to the other brand’s gel. I also don’t LOVE the brush for this gel. I like the other one because there are 2 sides of a very tiny brush, one side with tiny bristles to get product onto the brow, the other side with longer bristles to brush the product through the brow product.
The ABH brush is too big similar to a mascara wand it just doesn’t work for brows in my opinion. I took off a star for the brush for the gel not holding as well as I’d like. But it’s still a solid brow product I will definitely use this when doing my makeup!!.
This is by far my favorite brow gel! It gives such a natural finish when it dries, easy to style your brows with the brush and a little goes a long way! I would definitely remove most of the product that goes on the brush by simply just pressing against the side of the tube.
The brush needs to be barely covered with product as the gel is very strong! After many nights out to the club using this I will say that although my makeup appears ruined in the morning hangover ( I know 😑 don’t go to bed with makeup, but what can I do when I’m shitfaved drunk hahahah) my eyebrows are still looking flawless as if I’d just applied the product.
I don’t use anything to fill my eyebrows I just use the gel directly on the eyebrows so idk how it pairs with other products but if you have full eyebrows I definitely recommend this! When you have this gel on your eyebrows it definitely feels like you have gel on your hair when you touch it with your hands and it can get hard but that’s why you should use very minimal product! Don’t touch or scratch your eyebrows with this product on it is in fact a gel.
You can simply remove product with soap and water, or a makeup wipe, it’s really easy to remove no need for makeup remover but you can use it of course.

Anything Tom Ford, you KNOW you’re getting quality and obviously that reflects on the price, so its very steep. But can’t complain when you know this is what you’re paying for. I love it. Will recommend it.

Listen!!!!! I have very blond hair and eyebrows naturally so I have been HUNTING for a good creamy eyebrow pencil. I tried anistia Beverly hills brow wiz, worked nice but was way to dark and expensive, also the ABH brow pot, same thing nice product but to expensive and to dark.
I have tried the pure minerals, great pencil however the cost and amount of product is not worth the hassle. on a whim I tried this ardell eyebrow pencil!!!! OMGoodness. perfect shade for my light hair, and the angel of the product gives me that perfect crisp line!!! love love love! next time I buy this I will be stocking up on it!!!! FAB.

UGH i hate giving this pencil a low review because i LOVE how it makes my brows look BUT they seriously need to fix the faults it has because it makes it a dud and not any good for repurchase. I used this pencil twice and on my second try i accidentally twisted too much out but the pencil does not let you retract, so i closed my pencil and thought nothing of it.
The next time I grabbed it, immediately upon opening it, the extra makeup broke off and fell onto my vanity. I was heart broken but thought okay maybe I was not gentle enough and blamed it on myself but time and time again, I would be proven that no matter how gentle I was, the makeup would break off.
I honestly was very tempted to return it to sephora but after reading reviews saying the same happened to them, i knew exchanged it wouldn’t make a difference, so I ended up keeping it as I still did love the payoff.
I am not sure if it’s the formula or the packaging, but please find a solution. I think the majority of us can agree that the packaging is what hooked us in (it’s so gorgeous and fun to show off when I take out my makeup bag) so please try keeping that similar vibe with future packaging.
I will be trying their brow gel and hoping for a better outcome with that product. I wouldn’t recommend this product only because it’s not worth the money in the state it’s in.
I have a love/hate relationship with this eyebrow pencil. I absolutely LOVE this pencil and the coverage it offers. I get compliments all the time about how great and natural my brows look. The pencil has the right amount of waxy texture to keep your brows filled in all day.
That being said, this pencil reminds me so much of the ones you find with Korean brands that are usually $5-$10. Sure enough, I looked at the pencil and it’s made in Korea. Korean brow pencils give you a full stick inside while this pencil is literally just the tip of the container.
As others have mentioned, there’s barely product in the container which means you’ll run out faster (of course they want you to repurchase) but it’s so bad for the environment given the rest of the pencil is all plastic.
Bottom line: this is a solid product and it looks so good on. Not worth the price for how little product there is. If you’re down to explore other makeup options, you’ll find Korean brands that offer the same thing for less.
This is a great pencil! the formula is amazing its not overly waxy or creamy, the pigmentation is buildable, and I love the shape of the pencil. When brands started making the angled tip brow pencils they were always too thick for my sparse brows and pretty much unusable to create precise lines.
I guess they work for thick brows but not for mine. The angle on this is thin enough that it creates sharp lines and fills in a bit faster than typical brow micro tip pencils and I can still create hair-like strokes.
The color I got isn’t overly warm either. It’s really a stunning brow pencil. I love the packaging too it is so pretty but I wish it was a round pencil rather than squared, it would be easier to hold in my opinion but it’s not a deal breaker for me.

I just bought this pencil last night and used it today. IT’S AMAZING. I’ve used the Ardell pomade as well and they are great brow products! At first it’s a little hard to get the color to go on the brows, but what I would suggest is to get the first layer of color off by swatching it on your hand a couple of times until it gives steady pigments OR heat it up a little bit with a lighter.
I started buy these two years ago. They last a long time, but I buy two at a time just to make sure I don’t run out. They are loaded with pigment and stay put. Mine has the mechanical wedge pencil for a more defined look.
This is my go to brow pencil! I love that it has a triangular tip which helps fill in my brows faster than the thin brow pencils I love the top because it lets you line the brows as well as easily allowing you to fill them in! Must try!.

Let me preface this review by saying my brow journey has been long and often tumultuous with mixed results. Over the past decade the only thing that, until now, has worked for my extremely sparse (read: almost nonexistent) brows has been a waxy pencil, and even then, it still wasn’t quite right.
Everything always ended up looking a little too unnatural because of my lack of natural brow. Enter Madluvv and I could not be happier with my purchase! I love that you can pack on the pigment or keep it light and that it creates a YouTube-tutorial level brow in seconds.
It takes a few tries to get adjusted to where the stencil needs to sit over your brow but once you get acclimated to using it it really could not be easier. The pigment is rich and more natural-looking than I expected, and I like having the different shaped stencils to try.
I should also add that using the stencil is really helpful because it sits on your natural brow which I found harder to do free-handed. I love this product! I love finally having the brows I’ve been after for years.
Ok so I probably started using this product about 4 years ago. I originally thought it would be a joke, looked too good. to be true. I’ve drawn in my eyebrows since I was young and spend tons on powder brows that never lasted.
No joke, this product changed me life! I went from spending 20 min + drawing in my brows everyday to maybe 2 defining after the stamps. I’ve tried different colors and stencil shapes and they’re very accommodating to every shape out there.
I will say they’ve changed the size over the years and I treasure my old stencils because the new ones are just too long, even the petition. But there are tons of options and this is the best thing ever if you need help.
with your brows. Doesn’t smudge or come off, you literally have to scrub them. off each day or they just stay for the most part. If you’re anywhere on the fence, do yourself a favor and save $$$ on additional products and give this a try.
I will. say maybe go one shade lighter than what you think because you can stamp more to make them darker.
BE WAREND. After watching so many fans of TikTok rave about the MadLuvv brow stamp, I had to try it for myself. Please do not waste your money. If you don’t have pencil thin eyebrows the stamp will not look right! My eyebrows are by no means thick, but they also are not pencil thin.
I tried the stamp once and followed the video tutorial that was emailed to me and was truly disappointed. The stamp did not match my brows even though I took the color matching quiz, and it was very evident where my brow hair ended and the stamp started as there is no dimension with the stamp.
I will say, however, the stamp overall is easy to use and the eyebrow shapes provided are pretty universal. I wish I had read the return policy prior to using the stamp. Once you open the stamp and use it, even ONCE, they will NOT allow you to return the stamp nor provide you with a refund.
I was given a tutorial, AGAIN, via email on how to “properly” use the stamp and was offered an exchange even though I clearly stated I was disappointed with the product. Now I am out $40 and the stamp went directly into the trash can.
Just shred your money or light it on fire. It’s all the same.

It must be good, it has become my go- to product without even noticing! It does stay put for the most part, but I enjoy that I can blend out with the brush right on the other side, then just use a wipe or tissue over my finger to wipe away excess and sharpen the look.
The color is great, not too dark and not too ashy, however I would appreciate more options. I would also enjoy a longer wear time, maybe a formula that is wetter in the beginning and dries down after a few minutes.
I like the size of the pencil, nice and small to not overload with a ton of product. Appreciate the convenience of not having to pack an eyebrow brush separately! Definitely recommend!.
I bought this pencil on clearance not thinking much of it, but it’s quickly become my favorite brow pencil even out-performing my higher end brow products. As previous posts have mentioned, it is VERY soft and the tip does tend to break if you’re not careful, but as long as you have a light hand and are willing to look past that con I think it is a great brow pencil.
I wasn’t blessed with thick luscious brows, mine are quite thin and sparse and the texture of the product and the fine tip are actually perfect for creating very natural looking brows. My skin is naturally oily, especially in the brow area and this holds up surprisingly well.

I have tried many eyebrow pencils and I have to say this one is great! I like how the end of the pencil is almost diagonal so it is easier to put on. It isn’t a pencil you sharpen, you just turn the thing and it goes up and down.
It also goes on super easily, I can do my light brush strokes and it comes on great and I don’t need to apply much pressure at all. It lasts almost all day and is easy to remove too. I definitely recommend trying this product!.
Got this as a gift with purchase and I looove it. It is SUPER TINY. Travel sized. But it is a great color (I have light brown hair) and the pencil is a great shape for precise lines. Probably the best brow pencil I’ve used.
This mini version doesn’t seem to come with the spoolie. No complaints – I’ll buy one, but I will buy a bigger one.
I have dark eyebrows and this pencil color worked great. I can get away with a black liner, but sometimes I feel its too harsh, whereas other browns I’ve tried have a weird color and don’t look right.
The color for this pencil is spot on. I do think the its overpriced for the amount of pencil you get.

I thought this would be a great pencil but my problem with it was this. after sharpening it there would be empty spots in between sharpening. I let it go the first sharpening but then it happened two or three other times as well.
So it turns out after sharpening and no pencil until I kept sharpening to find it there may have been a total overall product of being half empty or at least one third empty! Maybe it would be this was a one time unfortunate mistake in the product but I will never purchase it again.
If you can’t see, use or know how much product there is how can you trust it? Sorry Chanel. This was a disappointment for me. I won’t be back for more.
I gave this 4 stars as it is good but not as good as the other eyebrow stylo I usually use. My usual choice was sold out so I opted for this one, being at the same price point. It goes on easy & is user-friendly except the shaping brush is extremely hard and almost hurts the skin -it’s far too hard in my opinion.
Secondly, it does not wear as well as my usual choice. It looks cakey as the day wears on. If I didn’t know any other products I would probably rate this higher, however. In all, it’s good but not as good as similarly priced other options.
I love this pencil! I have pretty full brows but like to fill them in to give them a shape. Micro pencils are my favorite but their very time consuming. I’ve tried the triangle ones in the past but their always too creamy and pigmented which doesn’t look natural but this one is a angle and it’s more stiff.
I can fill my brows in very quickly and still looks natural. I love how big the spoolie is as well. I got the shade 806 which is perfect for my taupe / ash brows. Reasonably priced for chanel. Highly recommended.

Wow! I am absolutely in awe of this eyebrow pencil. It is worth the investment if you are actively searching for a eyebrow pencil that is effective and lasts all day! I apply this in the morning, and it stays all-day even after multiple workouts….

Application no better, no worse than competition. Smuges off easily. For me with grey and mostly disappearing eyebrows, this is minimally helpful. I tried blonde (too red), light brown (way too red) so the only color that sort of works is this deep brown.
I apply lightly and attempt to build. Lets face it, with age issues — lack of hairs where my brows used to be, and with a pencil that too easily smudges off, I must take my repair tool to reapply with me always.

I got this in hope of bringing some life to my tattooed, very sparse brows. I love a feathery look of full natural looking brows (who doesn’t??) but with my teenage years in the 90s it’s a mere dream for me 🙄.
Using This clay is so far the closest I’ve got to my dream brows. The trick is to use it very, VERY sparingly. I scrape off excess before I use it, and draw little hair strokes on, less is more, and then let it dry a minute or two and give it a light brush over.
If you brush it too soon it tends to smear, so I like leaving it for a bit first. It will set beautifully and lasts all day!.
When I first used this clay I thought it would be a bit grey for me, and hard to apply. Took just a couple gos to figure out that less is more, and I do faint strokes with the brush (like you would with eyeliner pencil).
That works for me, as I like a more natural look, and this just gives a little bit more fullness and definition. If you were to use lots of the product, the colour match become more important, but for my purposes the more grey, less brown works just fine.
A beautiful product – adds texture and colour without being too overdone. The Husk colour has a soft smoky undertone, which makes it perfect for me as a silver haired person. Paired with the goddess eye pencil, and goddess mascara – I have found my holy grail of eye products.
I would love it if we could get refills for the clay, as there is a lot of plastic to throw away each time a new one is needed.
