I had searched long and hard for a brow defining product that didn’t look like I was using or over-using that brow defining product. Armed with at least ten products that didn’t rise to my approval, I recklessly ordered another, this time from Jane Iredale.

I finally found an eyebrow shade that matches my golden blonde hair–this blonde is perfect! Every other product is too dark, too ashy or just looks so fake! I love this product, so natural, so easy to apply, light or heavy for more color, it always looks great! I love that it has the brow cream in it to hold the product.

I am by no means good at makeup. I did get used to using Anastasia Beverly Hill’s eye pencil and was happy with what it gave me. Then when Covid hit, I couldn’t justify having that same product when I wasn’t really finding myself going out a lot.

So I’m really glad that I found this product because for the price AND the quality of the product, it can’t be beat. I firmly stand by the statement that this Arhces & Halos Angled Brow Shading Pencil is an absolute dupe and gets the job done, for half the price.

I haven’t gone back to ABH since!.

I love a fine tip eyebrow application. I don’t want thick eyebrows but I do love a FULL bushy brow. I have enough hair I just want a little shaping and tint!! This covers that 🙃🙃 it’s so fine it’s perfect there’s no way to over do it really and the color is perfectly dark and ashy ♥️ nothing worse then reddish auburn eyebrows that doesn’t compliment or my hair color and makeup look.

It doesn’t smudge off through out the day + not super waxy.

I really like the formula of this pencil, it’s glides smoothly without being too soft. The larger tip helps me fill my brows quickly. I’ve recently been doing more fluffy, natural brows, I like to use this with a light hand for a quick fill on the sparse areas of my brows, brush through to soften the color and finish with a good brow gel.

This pencil also has an angled tip so if you wanted to do more detailed strokes, you can achieve that.

Let me preface this review by saying my brow journey has been long and often tumultuous with mixed results. Over the past decade the only thing that, until now, has worked for my extremely sparse (read: almost nonexistent) brows has been a waxy pencil, and even then, it still wasn’t quite right.

Everything always ended up looking a little too unnatural because of my lack of natural brow. Enter Madluvv and I could not be happier with my purchase! I love that you can pack on the pigment or keep it light and that it creates a YouTube-tutorial level brow in seconds.

It takes a few tries to get adjusted to where the stencil needs to sit over your brow but once you get acclimated to using it it really could not be easier. The pigment is rich and more natural-looking than I expected, and I like having the different shaped stencils to try.

I should also add that using the stencil is really helpful because it sits on your natural brow which I found harder to do free-handed. I love this product! I love finally having the brows I’ve been after for years.

Ok so I probably started using this product about 4 years ago. I originally thought it would be a joke, looked too good. to be true. I’ve drawn in my eyebrows since I was young and spend tons on powder brows that never lasted.

No joke, this product changed me life! I went from spending 20 min + drawing in my brows everyday to maybe 2 defining after the stamps. I’ve tried different colors and stencil shapes and they’re very accommodating to every shape out there.

I will say they’ve changed the size over the years and I treasure my old stencils because the new ones are just too long, even the petition. But there are tons of options and this is the best thing ever if you need help.

with your brows. Doesn’t smudge or come off, you literally have to scrub them. off each day or they just stay for the most part. If you’re anywhere on the fence, do yourself a favor and save $$$ on additional products and give this a try.

I will. say maybe go one shade lighter than what you think because you can stamp more to make them darker.

BE WAREND. After watching so many fans of TikTok rave about the MadLuvv brow stamp, I had to try it for myself. Please do not waste your money. If you don’t have pencil thin eyebrows the stamp will not look right! My eyebrows are by no means thick, but they also are not pencil thin.

I tried the stamp once and followed the video tutorial that was emailed to me and was truly disappointed. The stamp did not match my brows even though I took the color matching quiz, and it was very evident where my brow hair ended and the stamp started as there is no dimension with the stamp.

I will say, however, the stamp overall is easy to use and the eyebrow shapes provided are pretty universal. I wish I had read the return policy prior to using the stamp. Once you open the stamp and use it, even ONCE, they will NOT allow you to return the stamp nor provide you with a refund.

I was given a tutorial, AGAIN, via email on how to “properly” use the stamp and was offered an exchange even though I clearly stated I was disappointed with the product. Now I am out $40 and the stamp went directly into the trash can.

Just shred your money or light it on fire. It’s all the same.

Eyebrow pencils – I feel like I’ve tried them all at this point. Obviously I haven’t, as I was introduced to this godsend about two weeks ago. Normally I use ABH’s ‘Brow Wiz’ or the NYX dupe, but this caught my eye while at Target.

Retailing at $3. 00, you can guarantee my eyes just focused on this product rather intently, knowing I would be a fool not to try this pencil. Having really positive experiences in the past with the E.

L. F. brand, I became eager to see how this compared to my tried and trues. These days I’m always in the market to save money, specifically when it comes to cosmetic products. If I can save a significant amount of money for a product that produces similar, if not better, results – honey count me in.

Now this pencil is magical. The performance of the product was on par with my holy grails. With quick strokes, I was able to fill in my brows rather easily, creating a shape amongst my natural brows – utilizing the spoolie to blend, blend, and blend.

I’m a bit annoyed at myself for not thinking to try this product before – the money I could have saved. Sigh. At least I’ve become very acquainted with this eyebrow product, and we’ll become quick best friends.

E. L. F. I really should stop sleeping on you. Anytime I try a product from your brand, I’m amazed by the quality and baffled at how an inexpensive product can perform on the same tier with higher end brands.

I love this product. I am just beginning to figure out how to do my brows, I have strawberry blonde hair and was a chronic over tweezer in my youth, so my tails are almost non existent and my brows are thin and pale.

Most products are a terrible color match for me. This is light enough, and can do fine enough strokes, that I am really comfortable working with it. The formula is pigmented but you do need to apply a small amount of pressure to lay down product (gentle, it is creamy/pomade-y enough but not richly pigmented) and this is actually perfect for me so I can build it up gradually without overdoing it.

Thin enough end to pencil to do very nice hair like strokes. This is extremely affordable and a great product in terms of color choice options and application ease. I initially used this with a NYX product, but have been now just using this with a brow gel on top, either Glossier Boy Brow or Benefit, and my brows have come a long way! Not perfect but you can see them now HA!.

So Im naturally blonde never realized till brows got bigger over last few years Ive looked like a browless alien for 49 years, ESPECIALLY IN SUMMER WITH A TAN😜 So I decided to give brow products a try -when learning I always gonlow cost I heard a few YouTubers talk about this particular ELF pencil, saying this lower cost white packaged one is better than the black package/pricier one.

Got it loved it (Im also partial to Taupe as opposed to blonde color, maybe because of my neutral leaning cool undertones of my skin?)… found it creamy easy to use, but not too dark scary! The spoolie is a nice size! The pencil lasts a good amount of time! Just to compare -during an Ulta 30 days of beauty, the comparable ABH pencil was 50% off so I bought it, didnt think it was any better? I actually thought it ran out ridiculously fast for the price! (Sonia Koshuk (sp?) that used to have makeup at Target had a great pencil too, shame that brand is gone).

Ive recommended this pencil to like 5 other people who are now HOOKED! GREAT PRODUCT FOR A GREAT PRICE!.

PLEASE bring back any previous version of Brow Drama Sculpting Eyebrow Mascara. I didn’t know it was discontinued & I’m paying $30 for old version of soft brown from online marketplaces. I use every day.

This new tinted gel formula is heavier/clumpier/flakes off and not natural looking. Old version was so quick, easy, natural, and buildable color darkness. The new TINY applicator is harder to use. I tried using my own wand that is adult size, but the gel is nowhere as good.

If this is the same tinted gel formula, something is wrong with the bottle. I tried 6 different bottles of this to ensure I didn’t just get a dud, but all were clumpy and heavy. Loyal user of this product for decades and adapted to changes with the applicator wand/spoolie over time, like when the ball was added to the end of the spoolie wand applicator.

I remained loyal and ended up loving the ball at the end of the applicator because it applied the gel on the brow hairs better. I could swipe it on fast & light or swipe it on fast & build layers of color to make darker dramatic brows when wanted.

I am so lost now. I want to remain loyal to Maybelline, but I can’t find a way to make this work. More expensive brands were not as good as the previous versions of Maybelline’s Brow Drama Sculpting Eyebrow Mascara, and I will pay a higher price to get the old version back!.

For someone who uses minimal makeup (mostly just eyelash mascara) and no hair dye, eyebrow mascara is a great find. I celebrate the gray/silver in my hair but not so much in my eyebrows! Instead of tweezing eyebrow hair, I tried cutting the gray out but end up with uneven brows.

Eyebrow pencils result in a fake-looking effect. Finally, a solution: eyebrow mascara in perfect black/brown. One star removed because I think the brush might be angled for better application. Sometimes I need to dab at the results with a finger or tissue, and so may try another brand for improvement.

But this is a great start and big help to me.

I usually use a powder to fill in my brows from my Makeup Revolution Brow kit which I love. However, I like having a brow gel handy as well to fill In sparse areas and make my brows look fuller. I was looking for something like Benefits Gimme Brow or Elf’s Brow Wow gel and unfortunately this brow gel from Maybelline wasn’t it.

Upon opening the packaging and removing the spoolie from the container I could see automatically that too much product was on the brush, so after removing some I applied it and over the next few mins my brows actually got hard like I sprayed hair spray on them.

It says it takes your brows for all day hold, but I didn’t think it meant it was coming to feel like I applied glue to them. I immediately removed it and this will definitely be going back to the store.

I was sent the wrong colors and I have been going back and fourth with them about this. My invoice says the number in the actual product and the invoice number is different. I was told it’s the Lot number.

I have been buying these from UULTA. The number in that pencil is the same in the invoice I bought directly from PUR. So I have had many emails with PUR wanting the correct shade. Now the medium shade I get at ULTA and then the one PUR sent is 2 different browns.

This has been going on for weeks. I still have the wrong color. As you can see my invoice with the color on color number does not match. They sent me medium color F120. I ordered medium C121. The other picture of the single picture is the Same pencil I get from ULTA.

The box from ULTA AND PUR Borge say medium. The color on my had shows the one I use the darker one and the bottom one is the one PUR sent. This is not the first time I have bought this and has always been the same.

Again it’s simple the photos say it all. PUR send me my 2 C121 pencils that I ordered !!! The customer service is horrible! They will argue with you and only work Monday – Friday 8-5. NEVER AGAIN.

Love the product but ONLY WHEN it is in working condition. Dislike the bad customer service experience and lack of care. Recently bought 2 of these from a store over a month ago before the holidays when running low and didn’t keep the receipt so the store couldn’t provide a refund or exchange.

The wedge pencil doesn’t come out and is totally useless. I even went to another store yesterday and found the same exact defect with the batch there (this time checked before purchasing). It seems there are defective batches out there, and these should be recalled.

Wrote to customer support (email provided on the website) and was impressed with the system response and response time. However, very disappointed with the lack of care since Customer Support did not offer ANY resolution whatsoever (reason was the purchase was not made online), which doesn’t seem right.

Your customers are your customers regardless of where they purchased the product. When a defective product is brought to your attention, there should at least be some offer/attempt of some resolution.

at the very least provide a WORKING replacement and have the defective batches recalled so they are not left on the shelf to be sold to other unsuspecting customers.

I purchased this spur of the moment since trying the as seen on TV version. I’m severely obsessed with make-up and if it’s new on the shelves or at least new to me, I’m buying! I’ve been hesitant to microblade and keep going back and forth about it and this product is why! Once you catch you groove, and are comfortable with your results, it brings amazing, precise lines that fill and shape your brows.

Then you have a added bonus, a highlighter for your arches that illuminate that brow bone!!! Ohh and best part. it comes off using your choice of make up remover instead of the more permanent route of microblading! PICTURED COLOR: 260 Dark Brown.

I was already familiar with the brand. The color was perfect for me in that it blends very well with my natural eyebrows. After coloring in my eyebrows, I use the brush to blend in the color which I allow to dry.

Then I smooth out my eyebrow and it looks great. I of course use the same routine with both eyebrows, and they look very professional. Unfortunately, I am writing the review with no makeup on so I can’t provide a photo.

Maybe I can come back to it and do so at a later time.

I normally like Revlon’s products but this one was a big waste of money. I probably would’t be so annoyed if I hadn’t just wasted $16 on it (I guess it’s much more expensive in Canada). The tip is too thick and impossible to draw thin lines similar to microblading.

I bought a black one and it goes on looking light gray, regardless of how many times I tried to layer it. I’ve used microblading pens from other brands that worked a million times better than this. It’s such a lousy, overpriced product, it honestly makes me wonder if the other reviews on this product are from real people.

I will never purchase this again and do not recommend it.

I have naturally thick black eyebrows and I bought this since C1 Classic Grey wasn’t in stock. Surprisingly the color combination is not bad; I think paired with a brow mascara to lighten my brow hair this would be perfect.

Initially I found the pencil a bit difficult to use it as it drew very stiffly and non-pigmented, but over time the end wore down a bit and I can use it with ease. The screw brush especially comes in handy.

Despite it being thin, it is not fragile unlike some other pencil type products I’ve used in the past, so this is an extra bonus for a person like me who’s always on the go.

i ordered grace taupe. i have brown hair and black eyebrows (naturally) so it’s really hard to find a brow product that works for me. i can only use “soft black” when that’s offered because black is too dark, brown doesn’t match my brow color even though my hair is brown, and grey toned also doesn’t match my brow color.

grace taupe is PERFECT. i swear you cannot tell that my brows are filled it, even if you look up close. yet i know it worked because the shape is perfect. as others have mentioned, its the perfect hardness so that you can sketch with it and not too much applies at once.

i ordered the sharp one by mistake and i’m doing a whole nother yesstyle order just to order the fatter tipped one in the same color because thin brow pencils don’t work for my eye brow shape, but that’s how much i love the color of this.

hands down the absolute BEST eyebrow pencil all brands included. honestly anastasia, benefits and co can sit down and take notes. the point is super than, and like for more asian eyebrow products the pigmentation is buildable, which means that a lighter stroke give you shadows while a stronger stroke a more defines effect.

the powder tip helps to set the brows or to create a shadow at the beginning of it that creates a softer gentler look. finally the colors are very sutle which look more natural, and the products sticks on the skin all day.

There’s quite a few brow pencils and various brow products I will always keep stock of, this being one of those. If I need sweat-proof and/or morning to evening wear, this is one of the products I might use.

It lasts a crazy long time on the brows, doesn’t smudge off easily, doesn’t sweat off easily. it’s just a good, reliable pencil that’s fine tipped for my extremely sparse, over-plucked in the early 2000’s, brows.

You can make those fine hair-like strokes with this. Not as fine as some ink brow pens, which I always use after a pencil and brow gel to finish off my brows. But when I’m in a hurry, this one will do just fine on it’s own.

And it’s one of very few that I would use on its own when I don’t have the time to do my usual brow. There will always be a Precisely, My Brow in shade #3 in my brow product drawer! I would add, if you get the wrong shade, as with anything, you may not like this.

I wasn’t a huge fan around 6 years ago when I was using the wrong shade. Since I tried #3 when they expanded their shade range, Ive really loved it. I don’t know if this was a shade that was changed, but it’s definitely my favorite for my medium to dark brows that are sparse enough that using a lighter shade (a soft brown shade) looks the best.

Anything darker on me just looks off and crazy, especially since I’ve kept my hair balayaged for years now.

Thankfully Benefit and Influenster sent me Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Pencil complimentary for testing purposes, right as I was on the hunt for a new brow product! I have tried so many products from so many brands, ranging from pencils, powders, wax markers, gels, etc.

Many products end up not looking natural, even when using very lightly. I have found that Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Pencil looks great and doesn’t irritate. I am a contact wearer with sensitive skin, so I am hesitant of brow products with fibers because they tend to flake, transfer, and upset my skin, but I have not had any issues with the Gimme Brow+ Pencil.

I received a shade that matches my brows perfectly. I was happy to learn they have twelve shades in total because that is half the battle with brow products – finding the right shade! The pencil glides so well.

It is applied like any other pencil and feels a bit creamy or light because of the powder formulation. I don’t notice the fibers when applying, the pencil seems completely solid, it is only when I see the fullness in my brows that I can tell that there are fibers in the formula.

I have not noticed any transfer or smudging. It is long lasting and seems to be decently waterproof. I have worn it during the summer heat, when most of my makeup wants to melt off. There is a spoolie included on the opposite end of the pencil which is helpful.

The product is very buildable and using the spoolie at the end really helps the volumized look. The downside to this pencil is it does not have a built-in sharpener and is not non-sharpening. You have to buy a sharpener separately to use this product continually.

For the price, I wish the product did not need a separate sharpener. Aside from the lack of sharper, this is a great brow powder pencil for anyone looking for better matching shades and natural looking fullness.

First lets get the disclaimer out of the way: I recieved this product for free from Influenster and Benefit in exchange for my honest review. Ok on to the review! This pencil touts that it will help give fuller brows that could possibly last 12hours, be transfer proof as well as waterproof and give a natural-looking texture.

Hmm big claims Benefit let see if it held up to it. I received the 2. 5 Neutral Blonde shade. While my brow hairs lean more to medium to dark brown shade I found that this pencil shade blended nicely thou abit lighter then my actual brows.

As far as texture it did seem to fluff up abit after application as claimed. It says it is a ‘powder pencil that adheres to skin and hair to create volume and fill/define’, and I’d say that’s what it did.

Instead of just coloring in the brows like most pencils it did seem to fluff them as thou it were a powder and give the brows more dimension instead of just color. For the most part they did last most of the day.

Thou on really hot days or when my face was getting more oily then most I found the product did transfer if rubbed on another surface. As far as waterproof I didn’t go swimming with it on but I did play out in the sprinklers and my face got wet.

Again for the most part they held there shape/definition but weren’t perfect by the end of the waterfight. Easy to sharpen and the spoolie at the end helps blend the product nicely. Overall I did enjoy this pencil.

As far as ingredients this is by no means a clean or green product as it has a slew of hard to pronoune ingredients that aren’t awesome including phenylpropanol, bismuth oxychloride and titanium dioxide to name a few.

I received this product for free from influenster Benefit Cosmetics for my honest review! This is now my #HolyGrailMakeup #Voxbox I recommend anyone that wants a long lasting eyebrow pencil to buy this! It may be a product that’s on the higher priced end but it’s worth every cent.

You can make hairline strokes as long as you have a good pencil sharpener. (Buy one for best results) my brows looked fuller and more sleek. so many colors to choose from but this matched perfectly! I used to use cheaper brands but always smudged this will not smudge and is summer proofed I sweated all day this summer and the brow product stayed all day long until I took it off.

I got this directly from Too Faced’s website. Buy I’m going to buy it from Ulta next. It’s not for beginners in my opinion. It’s a real pomade stick though, just hard to describe. The one downfall is it dries way too quick while still shaping.

The spoolie thing is good, and combs well. I’ve tried other pomade sticks but they’re more like regular ones, this has the consistency of real pomade. I do like and would only recommend if you’re okay with the drying and working quick to shape your brows.

especially if you need a lot of product like I do on your brows. if you are blessed with good shaped brows and just need a fill in, I recommend it for sure. It holds down like a wax almost. The color I got is taupe and it’s a little lighter than other taupe shades but it’s okay.

I have tried everything from Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Brow Freeze to Glossier’s Boy Brow. Nothing actually worked on my thick and full eyebrows without making them feel sticky and heavy, and they didn’t even dry down when they were.

Enter this brow gel. It is super light as it isn’t a pomade or wax of any kind. The applicator is PERFECT, it is longer and thin which helps me evenly coat each brow hair and get them aligned in one motion.

When it dries down, your eyebrows DO. NOT. BUDGE. I REPEAT! DO NOT BUDGE! They wash off easily with warm water, though! These are seriously the best. They are lightweight!.

I am a natural redhead with blonde/strawberry blonde brows. I’m almost 50 years old. Embracing the enormous pitch black caterpillar brow craze, no matter what your skin tone, hair color or natural brow and eye and shape may be just seems a bit weird on some of us and most definitely on me.

You remember what it looked like when you or another friend or very young kid you know played in Dad’s shoes? Well, that massive dark brow look, on me, might as well be Daddy’s shoes. I end up having to be very creative when doing my brows.

They aren’t terribly sparse but getting the color right, getting them shaped and groomed just right, with the right products can be challenging. Any time I can find such a great quality product in CLEAR, it makes my heart so happy! The gel is perfect.

My brows stay right where I put them, so perfectly neat, until I wash my face again. The fact that it’s clear is wonderful. I can use it on its own or it serves to seal in whatever very unique colors I’ve been using.

I usually use pomades from a jar using an eyebrow brush, but I purchased this for days when I’m in a rush and want to fill in my brows on the go. I didn’t have high expectations for this pencil because previous brow pencils I’ve tried have all felt like eyeliner pencils, which I wasn’t a fan of.

This however I really like. It has a noticeably waxy texture which really helps to move and set my eyebrow hairs into place, and the dark colour looks natural on my naturally black hair. I am shocked.

The only criticisms I have for this pencil are that the waxy texture is very noticeable and feels very “thick” against the skin. Likewise, I don’t like sharpening pencils as I feel that they tend to waste product.

I didn’t expect much for £2. 99 but I’ve bought this product in the past and I loved it which is why I went to order again. I ordered “soft brown” and when I was ordering I had my recent one in my hand to make sure I ordered the correct product and colour, when it came it said it was soft brown but it was so much lighter than the one I already had! So not sure if they have changed the product but I thought it’s fine we will give it ago.

Then I go to use it and it needs sharpening, so I do and since then it just breaks constantly needs sharpening after every use so I threw it in the bin! I’m really disappointed as I’ve bought this in the past and the colour was perfect and I literally used it till I couldn’t sharpen it no more.

Back to searching for another eyebrow pencil.

At the time I used this pencil they did not offer an auburn option which they now do, so it is possible that my review would change now. When I purchased it the only option that was close to my brow color was the soft brown.

I purchase this as an option to use on stage in a show and while it was a decent enough pencil it was nothing special. The tip would frequently break causing me to have to sharpen it almost every time I used it.

The pencil consistency was oddly hard and yet soft. It was difficult to get good strokes with any color to them. It just felt like more work than it was worth. I don’t think this is really anything special and would not be my first choice even among affordable options.

I have been obsessed with the refy brow pencil, bronzer and highlight and confused as to why this disappointing product is the brand’s most talked about. For context I am a makeup artist and have tried every technique to make the brow sculpt work – I have used the entire tube and still cannot say that I like it.

The hold is average at best and more often than not leaves white clumps and visible residue. The packaging feels cheap – the cap over the comb/brush “hidden” in the product lid always pops off when i am using the product through my brows.

The plastic brow comb is curved and is so small that doesnt fit the face and is difficult to use. The effort to use this product is not worth the average performance and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

There are so many incredible brow products on the market right now for a fraction of the cost that are greatly outperforming refy. The hype around this product is purely for the brand aesthetics, its just not good.

After trying multiple different brands I think Refy Brow Sculpt is the best brow gel on the market! I receive compliments every day about my brows since using this product. I used to have my brows laminated every 2 months but after noticing my hairs were falling out I stopped and opted for using brow gels to achieve the same effect without the damage from the perming chemicals.

Refy Brow Sculpt is easy to apply and holds the brows in position all day – unlike the other brands I have tried in the past. I like the different brushes and combs being in one product so you don’t need to purchase additional tools.

Even after cleansing I use the comb to brush my natural brows. I have seen some reviews on social media about the lid brush/comb becoming ‘clogged’ with product but they just need to be cleaned regularly like you would with all tools or applicators used on your face.

I recommend this product to friends who are thinking about brow lamination as a way to see the result before committing or using as an alternative.

I can honestly say I have never really used or felt the need to incorporate a brow shaper /Mascara in to my routine. My go to is usually some brown powder or pencil and I am good to go , I was fortunate to receive this to test /try and I have been blown away and now a permanent fixture to daily routine.

My eyebrows are getting a bit wispy with age and this product has taken it to the next level. So I have the shade blonde & clear. The blonde shade is great to fluff out your brows and get some shade and definition in a few brush strokes , easy for fast make up or a no make up make up day also and this is the big USP the product feels like nothing n, doesn’t go stiff or flaky.

Looks natural and enhancing. The clear shade is great for me to set my eyebrows if going for a more dramatic look and get the most from my powder or pencil application , holds it and sets it without adding extra colour so you don’t over do it but with some really impressive results.

Consider me converted.

I recently got two of these brown shapers, in clear and in espresso. I really am loving them. The clear is great for every day perfecting the brows and the espresso for me, someone with dark hair and tanned skin, is the perfect shade to give depth to my brows and more definition of an evening.

I actually have tried them at the same time and really like that effect too. I start with clear and set the shape I want and make the brows look tidied. Then I layer on top focusing on the front part and the arch with the espresso shade to help define them more.

I really like the effect. Really love these shapers and they’ve already become a staple. They’re not heavy or chunky at all. The brows are set without feeling or looking stiff and it is the perfectly suited to Bobbi Brown.

I’ve never been a massive fan of eyebrow “stuff”, especially the mascara-type ones, my eyebrows were always left feeling ‘crispy’ – however, as I’m getting a bit older, I am finding it necessary to create more shape and colour to my brows.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. this is a mascara wand type of applicator, that initially looked like it had very little on the brush, but after trying it, it left me with really natural looking brows.

I realised that I had been used to over-loading my brows with other products, because I just used what was on the brush and then wiped off the excess from my brows, but with this there was no ‘gloopy’ excess.

And because you don’t get masses of product on the brush, it’s totally build-able. My eyebrows also felt natural, no crispy brows – which was a massive bonus! I have reasonably shaped eyebrows anyway, so didn’t need to use an eyebrow pencil, I found that for me, using the brow shaper on it’s own was absolutely perfect.

The skin around my eyes tends to be very sensitive, and due to that I’m unable to get my eyebrows professionally waxed unless I want to spend days after with blisters. Tweezing is fine for the overall thicker hairs, but for those finer ones above and below the brows it can be super tough to tweeze them off.

I love using the Surgi Wax strips precisely for this purpose. I’ll clean my eye area and dry it well before applying, then firmly press one of the under brow strips where I want it. I leave it for about 30 seconds, often applying pressure.

Then I’ll grab the end (near the end of my brow), and pull it towards the front nice and quick (trust me, you don’t want to do it slowly!) These wax strips do a fantastic job of removing those hard to get tiny fine hairs, which makes my eye makeup look so much smoother.

Plus, the redness I get from these often only lasts an hour or two. Definitely a favorite of mine!.

Yes it works HOWEVER. Your skin must be dry DRY and in a colder room temp. I have coarse thick eyebrow hair and it actually pulled it out. But even the slightest bit of moisture or sweat will stop the strips from pulling out any hair.

Then all your left with is a used up wasted strip. My tip. I would not wax right after showering. The myth that wax pulls better from moist skin is a lie.

I found the best product for my eyebrow waxing. The product is worth any buck I paid for because its so gentle on my eyebrow and I’m loving the flawless and smooth looking it gives to my skin. It’s not harsh on the skin and it’s easy to use.

I highly recommend this product to anyone doing waxing by themselves.

I got this two days ago in the shade Ebony. I’m glad I went by the pictures and not the shade name because “ebony” to me means an intense shade of black. Thankfully this brow pencil is the perfect shade of ash-yet-neutral-not-quite-black-dark brown (I hope that makes sense!) that is identical to my natural brow color.

I want to mention my holy grail brow product is Hourglass Arch (not the micro one) and it’s $37. At first I was jazzed thinking this $12 Sephora one could be a good dupe, til I compared the amount of product you get.

The Hourglass is double the amount at. 014 ounce, while Sephora is. 007, which still is a cost savings but not that big a savings that it seems at face value. The Sephora one does perform well overall IMO – it hasn’t faded on me and I have very oily skin and keep my brows “on” for 14-16 hours a day.

I am vigilant about not touching, rubbing, or scratching my brows though, so I can’t say if it is smudge or smear-proof or not. Also I have not yet used it on bare skin, so far only when I’ve had on my full face which is Clinique gel moisturizer, Dior Backstage primer, Dior Backstage foundation, Mercier loose powder, and Porefessional setting spray.

The Sephora brow product pilled / balled up a little during application which was annoying. I also used it one day after applying my “easy peezy” face of just Fenty hydrating primer and BareMinerals BarePro powder foundation, and again the brow product help up well after 15 hours and I did not touch it at all during the day.

Also it did not ball up during that application. I also want to mention the spoolie bristles are stiffer than Hourglass’s so I had to use an extremely light touch when blending and softening the overall look of the color – not the end of the world but does take some getting used to.

Last thing, this brow pencil unfortunately doesn’t have the precision “triangle” tip that the Hourglass one does. So 3. 5 stars, but rounded up to 4 cuz of the variety of shades.

As a makeup artist I love keeping the brows together! I usually shop at Ulta honestly so receiving something from Sephora was such curiosity to me. As a makeup artist I Usually use a brown brow cream my Morphe brow gel to seal my brows but I wanted to put this product to the test in 100 degree weather and it did not disappoint! I love how pigment it is ! The consistency feels waxy but it’s a waxy pen so that’s understood! My only downside is you have to be careful rolling it out it can break, but I definitely recommend this! I wore it on a date night with my husband, as well as to different occasions.

I’ll be wearing it again to a formal event I’m attending this weekend. I love it! Definitely will be purchasing my own!.

I received this product complimentary from influenster. Let me start by saying that I didn’t have any expectations from this. I was pleasantly surprised. I normally use the benefit brow pencil and comparing this to that was on par.

There are a few cons and hence the four stars: I think it is harder to control this pencil because of thickness. The tip isn’t think, so you can’t really draw on lesser product. I also feel it to be a bit waxy, but the shade match is on point.

I am Indian with dark eyebrows and this doesn’t even look like I am wearing them. It stayed. It also has a brush on the other side which was great: it is not flimsy which is a plus.

This is just okay for my needs. I purchased it because I’m tired of using up brow pencils quickly. I liked the idea of the packaging – compact, has a mirror, and includes applicator. I wish the component itself was just a tiny bit bigger, especially when it comes to me doing my left eye (I’m right handed) as I could benefit with a little bit more visual field.

The brush and spoolie themselves are fine. The two putties are basically the same color and both work for me, albeit slightly warm. I don’t fill in much since I have thick brows, so this product does work for me.

It will likely last me a very long time. I’ve only had it for less than a month, so perhaps my opinion will change, but as of right now it’s the first product I’ve tried from Rare Beauty that’s “meh” for me.

2) Packing: Though is plastic, the mirror and shape make this a travel friendly case. Mirror is helping. Easy to keep in your bag for retouching. The snap-in brush and spoolie are great; very convenient and a nice touch as part of the case/packaging.

3) Consistency: a semi powered and semi crème consistency help provide a natural look. ➖CONS: 1) It is not waterproof. It says it it, but it is not. Do not be fooled. Not great for humid and hot days/environment.

I won’t use this during summer or spring (South Florida weather). 2) Needs a brow gel. You absolutely need a clear brow gel to go along with this product. 3) Price: since this product only covers 1/2 of your brow process, and because is SO small, it may be better priced at $19.

I’m running behind, but this deserves my time, even if I’m going to be late. I have thick brows that don’t need much for product, but I like to fill them in to make them look more polished. I have to get them waxed and groom them between appointments because I just have so much hair.

It’s a blessing and a curse. I’ve been looking for a product that meets all my needs – fills in my brows and doesn’t require extra tools. This is it. The brush is the perfect amount of stiffness for picking up product, laying it down, and brushing out my brows.

The case is SO SLEEK and the color is perfect. I haven’t been able to find a product that meets my needs. Usually they have extra stuff that I won’t use, require extra tools, the color match is awful, look cakey, or they just don’t work.

This doesn’t look like I’ve done much of anything to my brows.

Oh it’s really great! Smooth texture and beautiful greyish brown colour. Definitely recommend this and other HD brows products!

Best eyebrow pencil I’ve had in years. I bought this in Foxy, and it’s the nearest colour to my own eyebrows that I’ve used in a very long time. It’s so easy to apply, just a few quick flicks and they’re done.

Plus it has its own sharpener in the lip. Will definitely buy again.

Love it, so simple and easy to use to thicken your eyebrows up. You need to have a good shape for starting point. Downer is it needs to be sharp for good application and sharpener on end of mine didn’t work at all.

Luckily I had another!.
