20 Best Eyebrow Kit For Beginners (2023 Updated)

I originally came across the Skone eyebrow pencil in a Ipsy bag. Well let me tell you! I’ve been filling my eyebrows in for sometime now and have used numerous products. This hands down is the best. It doesn’t clump in areas goes on smooth, the precise tip makes it easy to outline or make hair lines.

The colors are perfect. It is long lasting. I would give it a million!.

Thank you so much Skone cosmetics! Amazing customer service! I am very happy with the wand in contrast to the brow ink pen. Both are chocolate color but the wand is a bit darker. the wand width covering the brows is thinner than the pen and great for thinning eyebrows in my opinion.

Brilliant! Powders are really pigmented. For once an affordable eyebrow pallet that doesnt have a red hue to it, like some cheaper ones. Knocked a star off, as the brushes are too small to be able to get a good application.

Id recommend you buy an angled brush to apply the powders/wax. The tweezers are okay, but again very small. So could be ideal for use on the go. The mirror is the size as the lid, so its pretty big which means you can get a good view of your brows when applying.

Overall, the pallet is a bargain for the price.

Nice eyebrow set, especially for the cost. Makes a change to have a light colour so that your eyebrows do not end up looking black all the time. The powder, covered by wax, does stay on for the whole of the working day.

Brushes are of a good quality, the tweezers are much better than expected and the inbuilt mirror is really useful. As I bought this for the light colours I would prefer to have more wax instead of the very dark powder, especially as the wax is going to run out long before the powder.

Though, that is my only complaint. Would definitely buy again.

You name it I’ve tried it, from eye brow pomade to eyebrow pens and everything in between. I came across this and can honesty say its my favourite product. Its easy to apply and last over 24h however can be removed earlier if needs be.

I love the fact that it comes in three different shades as you can experiment with what works best for you and your skin tone. It came with 2 brushes one square shaped and one rounded, and a mini set of tweezers.

All in all I couldnt fault the product and its reasonably priced at less than 5.

I never thought I’d need an eyebrow pencil but my brows started to need a little “oomph”. This pencil gives a very natural appearance, is easy to apply, and the color is perfect. Lasts all day. Best part – people commenting on how good my eyes looked but not able to say why.

Trish always amazes me with how small her color range can be with some items and yet they’re spot on for me.

I have thin shapeless brows and in some areas, so few brow hairs that my brows look spotty. This precision brow pencil allows me to fill in all of those areas and make an overall shaped natural looking brow.

TiP: The length of the shaper can adjust. Just allow out a small section for best control and to avoid breakage.

I’m convinced that eyebrow pencils were making my brow hairs fall out. It seemed like the more I filled in my brows the more I needed to fill them in. So I started looking for a more natural brow pencil and found this.

Guys, this pencil has saved my brows. So many of my brow hairs have grown back since I started using this a few months ago. Just this morning I was looking at my brows thinking I don’t really need to fill them in today, and that’s why I remembered to write this review.

And I wasn’t using cheap brands before, I was using the Anastasia brow wiz. I’m not crazy about the flat tip on this one but I honestly don’t care because it looks good and my eyebrows are thick again.

I want to like this. The color is great, it twists up so you don’t need a to sharpen it, and it has a nice brush on the other end. But The tip is weird. It is long and flat. And maybe I just need to learn to apply it correctly after using a pointed pencil for 20+ years, but it took my 20x longer to use this.

I’m not looking to spend hours drawing individual hairs on my brow line, just want a quick pass to fill in the light areas. For the most part, it’s the only make-up I wear. I will keep looking for a something with a pencil tip.

I’ve been trying out the Tom Ford Beauty Brow Sculptor Pencil for the past month & like how functional & easy to use it is. While this is definitely a pricey eyebrow pencil, it seems to last forever, so the higher price evens out in the long run.

It also has a refill included! So you definitely get your monies worth & then some. For someone like me, who has incredibly sparse brows from aging & ridiculously murdering my eyebrows into thin lines in the early aughts, this is a great pencil because it gives a nice coverage without seeming fake or painted on.

It just gives you a natural & even application that lasts throughout the day. And the pencil is incredibly forgiving & easy to clean up if you make a mistake. The pencil itself looks sleek & classic—similar looking to a calligraphy pen.

One side of the pencil has a typical spoolie & the other side has the pencil. One side of the pencil is wider & used to draw long strokes into the long part of your eyebrows. The other part has a tip used to define & make short strokes for a more fluffy & natural hairs at the front of your brows.

I do tend to like more thin eyebrow pencils with sharper tips for drawing individual hairs. So if you’re into spending a lot of time shaping & giving dimension to your eyebrows then this pencil is probably not for you.

The pencil is really great for people who want an easy to use product without a lot of fuss. It gives your brows a very natural shape as well as color because it applies lightly & without depositing huge amounts of color unevenly.

I did feel that if I bought one in the future I would maybe go for a darker shade—Bc the color isn’t super heavy when transferring to your brows you do need to press harder if you want a bolder look.

But for someone who wants a natural, easy, clean looking & fool proof to apply eyebrow pencil then I recommend this for a easy & polished everyday look.

I really like this eyebrow pencil! I wasn’t sure if I would like it at first because I prefer my brow pencils to be very small and precise so I can make realisitic looking hair in the front of my brows, where they are the most sparse.

I was pleasantly surprised with this though! It has such a beautiful shade and it’s hard to find good shades when you have naturally light eyebrows. Blonde can pull too warm, taupe can sometimes pull too grey or even greenish, and most browns end up being a little too dark.

But this one is the best shade for blondes that I have found thus far. It was the perfect balance of cool and warm, and I feel like it is a very versatile color that will compliment anyone from platinum to brunette.

Another thing that I love about this pencil is that it came with an extra cartridge for when the first runs out! I’ve never seen that before and found it very innovative. The pencil itself is a good consistency; not too hard or too soft, not too waxy, and just enough pigment.

Pigmented enough to give the brows a beautiful color and shape, but not too pigmented to the point that it would be hard to correct if you mess up. The main complaint I have with this pencil is the spoolie.

It is very short and is attached to the pencil itself which is thick, so I don’t feel like I can really get in there and use the spoolie properly. I feel like for the price, the spoolie should be better.

I will say though that with this pencil I really didn’t find the spoolie necessary because product doesn’t cake up in the brows. The spoolie was the only reason I knocked one star off because even though I prefer very precise eyebrow pencils, I know that is personal preference.

I know it is pricey, but you’re essentially getting two pencils in one because of the extra cartridge. I do recommend this product! I received this product complimentary in return for completely honest review purposes.

I received this complimentary to try and I’m a bit disappointed. Being from a high end brand and costing $54 I expected a lot more but this is just on par, if not sub par, to other less expensive brands.

First of all if you’re wanting the bushy or feathery natural type brows this isn’t the product for you. It comes in the bigger wedge style tip that is good at giving you an airbrushed looking brow but not good at mimicking individual hair strokes.

Honestly Anastasias brow wiz I prefer to this as it has a much fiber tip. Even colourpops brow pencil I prefer to this. Not only because of the wedge tip but it’s a bit too hard or waxy so it takes time for it to warm up and start to apply.

The spoolie set really close to the pencil so it feels shorter. The jury’s still out on whether that’s a con or not an issue. It seems to brush through the brows ok. Also once you use it you round the nice pointed edges so it’s hard to get a sharp line or again, hair strokes.

It’s more of a finishing/top product to use after you’ve filled in your brows for a more airbrushed look. (In my opinion) Pros: the color taupe was a perfect match for my blonde/brown brows It comes with an extra refill so you get twice the product which is probably why the price is so high but it’s still a brow pencil at the end of the day.

I’d rather save my money and buy a cheap brow pencil and higher end foundation, but that’s just me. The spoolie also twists off so I’m assuming that can be replaced as well although you don’t get a replacement.

This is a great deal for these products! I’ve used the Eyebrow Wiz for years, but it kept breaking and I was never able to use the whole product. I decided to give another go after switching to Benefits since I have saw this combo was available.

So much nicer having both products on hand now to get the desires look. Go easy on the tube as it will out with more product that you expect – start at the middle of your eyebrow, then work your way back to the inside of your eyebrow.

Not sure why these are sold together when they dont even match! I got the medium brown option. The gel is *significantly* darker than the pencil. The instructions say to use the gel and then the pencil, but the gel is so waxy that you cannot possibly fill in any sparse gaps or define edges with the pencil afterwards because it just clumps together (and it’s even more obvious since the pencil doesn’t match the gel 🙂 ).

The pencil is lovely but you may as well buy it on its own because its useless in combination with the gel.

I originally purchased this just to try out the eyebrow cream, however since the value ($34) for all that you get is the better deal for first time buyers. This item comes with the eyebrow cream, comes in colors 1, 3, and 5 to choose from (on this kit only, other color choices available buying the item by itself).

It also comes with a highlighter pencil and stencil. I used the stencil my first time just to see what it was all about, however I am used to filling in my eyebrows daily, that I do not need to use this, however great when filling in my friends eyebrows.

The color is excellent, not too thick, and not light enough you have to build up the color too much. The little container of cream has the brush attached you turn it around and click it into the top.

It’s great! I will continue to purchase the cream when I run out, but honestly I can see this lasting a long time, even with such a small container, you really don’t need a lot. Highly recommend this product! Check out Brow Bar at Benefit, usually located in Macy’s at most malls.

I am super cool toned and with almost invisible brows. They are white blonde, and so without any bro products it looks like I have none. I spent a ton of time trying out brow products everything from drug store to high end and most with the exception of the abh brow wiz all looked my much to orange on me.

I really liked the abh brow wiz, but I sometimes gave me to much of a bold brow. Then when Benefit overhauled their brow products last year I became curious about some of their products. Then late last year, I was shopping around and saw this kit Since this kit was such a good value I decided it was fate telling me to give it a try.

I am not a completely in love! This is the more natural sister to the abh brow products. I love that this is the same but softer and more natural looking. It wears great and goes on smoothly, plus this kit is an amazing value! I highly highly recommend this kit! The only thing I wish Benefit would improve is shade selection.

Light/medium/dark is not an acceptable shade range for brow products. If they had not colours available this would be the perfect product.

I just want to say that I’m loving Supercilium Henna. I just started to offer Henna Brows as a service and truly enjoy working with the product. I especially like the “Black” Henna. I have numerous clients that want and desire that truly “black” brow and this product doesn’t disappoint.

I will also be looking to add Henna “freckles” to my service menu. It’s a great alternative to tattooed freckles and will open the door to even more clients. My one concern is that the scoop that currently comes with the product is quite awkward to use.

I wish there was a more precise scooping device to help with measurements, especially if you are looking to custom blend the colors. Otherwise, I’m loving this HENNA!.

I just started as a brow artist. The full kit was a too big of an investment for me. Really love that Supercilium is providing the course for free! Learned a lot from it. I love the results! With the online courses they really guide you in the process! Thanks Supercilium, love you!.

It took me a minute to get used to this brow product. The packaging is good. The spoolie is tiny, which helps with precision application. It’s different than any other brow product in a tube with a wand that I’ve previously tried.

I like that it doesn’t have a bunch of fibers or a really intense pigment. I used it on its own and over pencil and enjoyed both methods. I love the color and it work because it’s less intense. I also love that it’s not clumpy or crusty or stiff or waxy.

It’s a natural tint with light hold that works well for me because I don’t have bushy brows. I personally think it’s great. Will probably repurchase and definitely recommend. So many Lawless products are amazing and really underrated.

This is a really nice soft hold brow product. I really enjoy the tiny spoolie for precise application. It allows you to coat all your brow hairs easily without messily getting it all over the skin, and it doesn’t get clumpy as you continue to build or layer the product.

The tint is also very minimal and natural. Just slightly defines the hairs. It does a nice job at fluffing up the brows and it doesn’t get crunchy or stiff as it sets. If you prefer a stiff, budgeproof hold this is not the product for you, however it does have a nice hold that doesn’t immediately fall.

To this day people ask what’s my secret, how my brows are twins, if I use any products at all. And my brows look scraggly when I wake up in the morning. It’s just this product- and it doesn’t come off when you swim thought it doesn’t say it’s waterproof probably cause they’re trying to be humble.

Easiest part of my routine. Rarely does a product actually become a forever product for me. Not a single hang up, I am fully committed to this brow wiz. The gel is just alright, though. I don’t really use it.

This brand has an impressive selection of excellent eyebrow products. I like an eyebrow pencil with a fine tip for filling in brows. I find them easier to control and feel they give my brows a more natural finish.

This one is perfect. Soft brown is a great shade for me. I like to set with the clear gel. This set is excellent value for money.

The ABH pencil is one of my favorite pencils to finalize my eyebrows after I have used the brow. This pencil is one of the best pencils I have ever used and it is very precise. I get totally nervous when I use a pencil that does not have a brush on the other side and I keep reaching for this.

I am very happy when ABH comes out with sets like this because the pencil itself is very expensive but in a set like this I am okay to buy. So please more sets like this.
