20 Best Eye Drops For Conjunctivitis (2023 Updated)

Don’t get me wrong, I liked this product as it didn’t really burn my eyes, but it took days before the true eye relief to kick in. The 1st few days my eyes were reddish pink. Now Similasan does disclose upfront on the package that #homeopathic remedies may take a week of administering treatment before noticeable results are seen.

I bought this looking for a more natural alternative to Visine Allergy, bought didn’t read that disclaimer prior to purchase as I was looking for immediate eye relief. This did sooth my eyes but didn’t clear the red at 1st.

Cost about $8 to $10 compared to the under $5 I pay on Visine. I recommend this only if you are going for more natural and willing to wait a week for visible clarity.

i have tried just about everything for my very dry eyes, almost every brand from the drug store, so saw this on well. ca and bought it. it was very nice to see that my eyes did not have the gritty dry feeling after two uses and in two days i could do my work for hours on my computer comfortably.

the drops work well. use them liberarally for a few days few times a day, and you will see results.

I try so many brands for my dry eyes. Nothing works. I moved to humid Connecticut from dry Colorado and my eyes was going crazy. My daughter is nurse and she introduced me to this brand. Now I have healthy eyes and I don’t need use drops all the time.

[from Similasan] Originating in Switzerland in 1980, the Similasan brand became popular across Europe. Today, Similasan remedies are widely used and well-respected in North America. I had a deviated septum that was surgically corrected years ago but I would often get a “discharge” of white “puss” that would gather in my lower eye (the left more than right).

I had a Doctor of Optometry (DO) recommend Systane long-lasting lubricating drops but I never got more than 1-2 hours relief. I have adjusted the brightness levels on all of my devices, I get plenty of sleep yet this discharge would not go away.

I was almost ready to just cave and buy another $15 bottle of Systane till I read about Similasan Complete on that *OTHER* site. What the heck, I mused at least it’s cheaper than Systane. Took me a minute to wrap my head around Similasan’s applicator: the bottle (vial) is glass, which is great and you apply it by turning it upside down and squeezing the plastic applicator.

The bottle even has legible instructions, although I ‘cheated’ with a magnifying glass. After 1 day of using Similasan Complete twice daily, 2 drops per eye, my nasal/sinus discharge has gone away 95%.

I will clean out any residual “puss” in the A. M. with a wet Q-Tip. It has great lubrication, lasting 4-5 hours per eye after applying. Take a look at the review by ‘wizardofozone’ on that *other* shopping site.

It was surprising to see how quickly they have become a convert.

Another great product from Similasan, a great company for healthy, natural products. There is NOTHING wrong with the Ivizia product, packaging, or ease of use. Works as it should, as advertised. Unless you have a physical malady, the consumer who said she had issues with the design of the bottle, when dispensing the medication into her eyes, is the one with the issue.

The whole wording of her statement appears to be bogus and suspicious. I’ve used worse designs from major pharma, as eye meds. And I’m not in the medical or health fields, and do not work for and am not associated with any pharma or medical or eye medicine co.

, including Similasan. I’ve also used Similasan eye products for years with much success, as well as many of my friends amd family members who have, or had, eye issues too. Similasan doesn’t deserve that negative comment from that customer.

Their products work and are easy to use. FYI, I was born with vision issues and have worn eyeglasses since age 3. I stand behind my statement at 57 years, young. One other quick mention, as the discriminating consumer I am, especially when it comes to my eyes, Similasan is not a run-of-the-mill eye solution provider-manufacturer.

If your ophthalmologist or optician is worth their “salt”, they’ll confirm Similasan as a player in natropathic eye care.

I LOVE these eye drops! I have horribly dry eyes and my Optometrist recommended another brand. It made my eyes blurred and itchy. I saw these on TV and decided to try them because the doctor said I have to have Preservative Free and these are.

I have amazing relief from dry eyes and associated redness with this product. The very first time I used it, relief was instant! I have tried MANY other products for this condition which has really seemed to worsen in the last several years.

I bought this for my 3. 5 yo who most likely got pink eye from the pool she had been taking swimming lessons in. Before putting this in her eye, she hadn’t reach the stage of puss or watery eye. However, when she woke up the next morning her eye didn’t show any improvement.

She now had discharge. She was probably rubbing her face back and forth on her pillow, not helping the situation but I knew it was going to be difficult for her not to rub her eye when it was itchy. At $145 for a tiny bitty itty teeny jar (half an ounce), I wanted to see something spectacular immediately. However, I did not notice a a big difference when applying it to my tired-got-up-too-early-after-a-sleepless-night eyes.

They still look tired and smudgy. That’s just from one application, however. Still, I think I should have noticed something more. Sure, perhaps this is made for long-term and not immediate results, but still, I was hoping for just a little bit more results.

I have a 14 year old wire haired fox terrier, Alexander. For the past 3 years I’ve had a very difficult time protecting the pet from ear infection. This medicine will work on bacteria with cell walls, but its activity is in binding DNA complex. It is effective against gram negative and also against the difficult to treat Pseudomonas genus. This is in the quinolone family of medicines and may interfere with developing cartilage.

My dog got hit in the eye by another dog’s tail and it caused a crater in his eyeball. My dog is diabetic and his healing time is a lot longer than a non-diabetic dog.
