20 Best Eye Drops For Cats (2023 Updated)

I ordered 2 bottles of these eyedrops for my edema condition. Product is excellent, unexpired and safety sealed, as expected. Unfortunately, the Online Drugstore never let me know my eyedrops were on the way.

No email, nothing! I even checked my junk box just to be sure, and absolutely nothing. I really don’t know why the ball was dropped so hard when it came to letting me know my medicine was on the way, but it was very important information that never made it to me.

Terrible, awful communication here that I hope the Online Drugstore will take seriously, and improve in the future.

The products are the same like those in the pharmacy. I used this in 2015 and 2016 my corneal edema got better. I started using again this year because the edema is back. The price is cheaper thru eBay.

This is prescribed by my eye doctor. I tried several time to use. It is supposed to reduce the swelling for my corneal edema problem. Side Effects. Eye discomfort, burning, redness, or temporary blurred vision may occur.

I had all the side effects except the temporary blurred vision. The discomfort, burning and redness was worse than the condition.

I have dry eyes and use prescription eye drops; however, my eyes often are dry and irritated. I get additional relief from the GenTeal Liquid Eye Drops. I was buying them from a local pharmacy, but they stopped carrying them.

I was unable to find them at any drug stores near me, so I decided to buy them online. The drops took a little longer to arrive than I thought–a week–but they were delivered by UPS in good condition.

I plan on continuing ordering them from TheOnLineDrugStore. I was happy with their service.

I received these eyedrops free for an honest review. If you have any problems with dry eyes you are going to want to run and pick these up. They provided immediate relief to my very irritated eyes. I have bad eye allergies and live in a high desert climate with virtually no humidity and winds that blow sand around like crazy.

I use two different eye allergy drops and also dry eye drops when things get bad. With these Systane drops I was actually able to stop using one of the drops and I may try to not use the other. The drops immediately stopped the gritty feeling in my eyes and stopped the itch within 10 minutes.

My eyes felt so refreshed and moisturized. Have had to spend more time on my phone for work and these drops are wonderful for relieving the discomfort I usually get. It’s nice that these are preservative free for those with sensitive eyes.

The delivery system takes some getting used to but it’s wonderful to just have one bottle to use. Luckily I had used another product with a similar delivery so I caught on quick. Cannot recommend this product enough.

MN winters are very cold and windy, which makes my eyes very dry. In other seasons, I deal with seasonal allergies that irritate my eyes too. I had the opportunity to try Systane Lubricant Eye Drops Complete Preservative Free Dry Eye Relief, and my eyes finally felt comfortable.

Instructions say to put 1-2 drops in each eye. I didn’t see it on the box, but I did some research online and found that contact lens users should put them in before putting contact lenses in or after taking them out.

For anyone with severe dry eyes, this product is for you. I have been dealing with severe dry eyes for several years and my optometrist wanted me to go on some expensive prescription drops as the over-the-counter drops we had been trying did not work very well.

I found a reference to these Bion Tears online which showed that they were for “severe” dry eyes. I decided to order me some and they worked wonderfully the first time I tried them. I was ecstatic.

I have a lot of different eye creams that I’ve received over the years for my many cats. I usually have to treat one of my seven cats about once every month or two. They tend to snuggle up together, and I think they sneeze in each other’s eyes occasionally.

In these cases, the eye cream works, but after a week, it comes back again. That means the cat has systemic chlamydia, and a month of doxycycline will make it go away for good. The only time this treatment doesn’t work is when it’s not chlamydia but herpes.

If it’s herpes, the doxycycline will have no effect. So if the doxycycline works, it’s not herpes, but chlamydia, and the doxycycline will work if you use it 30 days. Tried and tested, and true!!! Doxycycline and terramycin are in the same family.

I’m absolutely thrilled that I discovered this!! We were surprised with 3 fuzzy lil’ kittens after we took in “Butter Bean;” She was abandoned and is still pretty much a kitten herself! But her 3 little “micro-beans” (as we call um!) Didn’t seem to open there eyes by the time they should have.

So I applied warm compressess often throughout the day; ultimately helping them “Unseal” but even with thorough rinsing and compresses on a daily basis for a few days. They still would crust up and seal shut and ultimately start to fill with goop/discharge.

This eye ointment is great. I have had several cats over the years & only realized that this can be purchased without a prescription recently. I had one cat who would get frequent eye infections & the vet prescribed this med regularly.

Of course, I always had to go to the vet & pay for a visit as well as the med. I wish I had known that I could order it because that would’ve definitely saved money. This ointment has been effective in treating any eye infection that my cats have gotten over the years.

I can not say enough good things about these eye drops, I wish I had before pictures. My 5yr old has allergies that were making his eyes swollen and red with a bunch of goop coming out. Worse at night and his eyes would be matted shut in the morning.

I was doing warm/cool compresses along with allergy medicine but it just wasn’t doing enough. The first day using these I already noticed a difference. Two days later his eyes are completely better. I used them as directed and kept them in the fridge to add to the cooling effect.

If your little one has allergies I highly recommend this.

This use to be good stuff but now they’ve introduced Pataway which is about $20 a bottle I find this no longer effective this year. They must have watered Zatador down to get people to buy Pataway. I tried Pataway last season and didnt find it effective and way too pricey.

Thank god that Bosch and Lomb make Alaway that has the same active ingredient as Zatador and works like it suppose to and is $2 cheaper. Walmart has a knockoff off there on thats even cheaper than both but i find it gums up my eyes.

I was hesitant to buy at first because if the price. After reading many of the reviews I decided to give them a try. My eyes had been itching and watering like crazy and nothing helped. I am so glad I gave it a try within two days of using the drops my eyes are no longer itching like crazy and watering non stop.

I like that it doesn’t have a horrible sting sensation when you apply it. This is now my go to eye drops when allergies start. It’s worth the price.

works great for my dog (japanese chin). She has dry eye, and also had a scratch on her eye from my cat. I’m using terramycin ointment for the scratch to prevent infection, but unfortunately my dog was having a hard time due to her dry eye, and I tried several different eye drops for dry eye/artificial tears, but within an hour, my dog would be squinting again.

With the first dose of this optixcare her eyes opened wide and shiny. I do have to put it in about 4 times a day, but only just one drop. I find it’s easiest for me to put a small drop on the back of my fingernail, then pull her eyelid out just a bit, and then swipe the back of my fingernail on her eyelid and the eye drop goes in the pocket of her eyelid.

This keeps from wasting the eye drops and from making a mess on her eyes, since you are not supposed to touch the tip of the tube to her eyes, and you really don’t need to use more than 1 drop for each eye, and it will last several hours if not all day, depending on the severity of your pet’s dry eye.

the tube is pretty big for the price, since typically eye ointment tubes are usually only about as big as your pinkie finger, and this tube is the size of a small toothpaste tube. i’m thankful that this doesn’t require a vet visit or a prescription, since that’s the direction it was heading for my dog before finding this medicine.

Only one level down from actual tubes of gel. I was terrible as my meibomian glands were sealed over and inside so used to put tubes of gel in my eyes every 5 minutes. I had surgery to pierce them. got my glands back in working order and although I still need drops.

these do the trick and stop my eyes going red. I use them 2 or 3 times a day. They last and they don’t run all down my face. My doctor for dry eye( after seeing 12 of them) was dr fishman in Palo Alto if anyone is a bad way with dry eye.

Recommended by my optician. Make my eyes feel very comfortable. I struggled with putting them in at first, because the bottle is quite bulky and you need to get your fingers ‘right’ on it. You don’t really feel the drop go in – feels more like a puff of air!.

I have dry eyes, and my opthalmologist wants me to use lubricant eye drops at least twice daily. Refresh Optive Sensitive has been very helpful; if I skip a dose I feel the difference. I love these. My eye doctor wants me to use the disposables, which isn’t great for the environment, but she’s afraid of preservatives. She’s afraid that long-term, frequent use of preservatives could lead to cancer.

I definitely use drops frequently. Particularly when I’m asleep my eyes get so dry that I can’t even open them. These really help. I’ve tried other brands and other alternatives from this brand. This one is the least irritating to my eyes.

Also I like that it has boric acid. My mothers eye doctor told us that pork acid would help prevent glaucoma. My current eye doctor says that’s not true, but I did notice that my eye pressure went down after I started using this.

My dad said that dilute boric acid was used as an eye wash when he was a child in Germany. I still use the drops with preservatives, when I’m out of the house.

If you make almost no tears, these will make your eyes sticky and even drier. You can actually feel the stickiness of these drops if you get it on your fingers. They might be good for people who make enough tears.

I’m guessing the ingredient that causes the stickiness is supposed to retain moisture (in other words, to prevent tears from drying). However, if you don’t make enough tears, all it does is make your eyes dry and sticky.

I have chronic dry eyes, so bad that I’m on prescription eye drops (restasis). This specific box of eye drops are hands down the best I’ve used, and I’ve tried almost everything. Something about these specific eye drops moisturizes better and for longer than the even the other Refresh brand eye drops.

They do create a little bit of eye goop in the corner of your eye but that’s the only con. I don’t experience any burning like other reviewers mentioned.

I’ve been using this product for a few years now and am quite happy with it. It does the job of keeping eyes lubricated. My subtraction of one star is due to the fact that the manufacturer recently changed the cap.

It used to be simple to open. On my recent re-order I was disappointed to discover they’d switched to a push down and turn cap and it is near impossible to open. Will not be re-purchasing this item unless they switch back to easy open cap!.

This is a great tears product. It soothes and moisturizes dry eyes quickly. It is very reasonably priced than other tears drops, which are much higher priced. I highly recommended it.

I bought this product after trying drug store own brands that made my eyes sting and didn’t really relieve dry eyes. This product feels more like a gel than a water drop going into your eye and really does help relieve dry red and itchy eyes, I would recommend it.

My optician recommended these drops to help my dry eyes. I’ve tried a few others in the past but these are by far the best. Once you get used to the plunger dispenser they are extremely easy to apply and instantly soothe your eyes.

My sweet cat had a bleeding outer ear infection, this (we believe), caused her Anemia. We want to help her overcome this. We have used this before and she takes it well with her food. She has only been taking it for a few weeks but she seems to be doing much better.

It will take some time and care. Please, anyone who has a Cat and the Cat gets injured (with bleeding), act quickly to build up their Iron intake so they do not become Anemic. It only takes a little blood loss.

I have one cat that got sick as a kitten and it was undetermined whether it was leukemia after 3 tests. One vet wanted to do thousands of dollars in tests, but another recommended a blood transfusion first.

I did the transfusion and he rebounded to a happy cat, but was going to be on Prednisolone for likely a long time. I researched Liqui-Tinic (vitamins/minerals) and have been giving a dropper full with his pill now for 11 years.

He is slowing and showing signs of what originally ailed him, but he is a miracle cat and I believe the Liqui-Tinic is helpful in giving an additional boost since the medication makes him urinate more frequently.

When my 19-year-old cat was diagnosed with kidney failure and anemia, our vet said he needed daily subcutaneous fluids and specific high-iron vitamins. The sub-Q fluids were enough of a struggle; my cat did not like the prescribed vitamins and that led to another daily struggle.

Then I found Liqui-Tinic 4x, and thank goodness that was not so offensive to eat. I mix it into his wet food, and he eats it without a problem. The vitamins are effective, and have helped restore his vitality.

These drops create a cloudy film on my lenses that is almost impossible to get rid of. I had to manage an entire day at work with cloudy eyes because of these drops. The film remained even after soaking my lenses overnight and rinsing with saline the next morning.

Ended up having to throw them out before their time was up. Genuinely hate this product.

I wear 2week extended wear Oasis soft contacts. I remove & disinfect them each night. I use Blink Dry Contact Lubricating Drops when I insert my lenses each morning. I feel like it gives me thicker cushioning which allows me more comfort while wearing all day.

The “blink” brand was recommended by my opthamologist. For reference purposes, I wear Clariti 1-day Multifocals and can use these drops while wearing my contacts. I have experienced no adverse reactions.

I also use the ‘Blink-n-Clean Lens Eye Drops’ with contacts in and have experienced no issues. I’m very careful to use ONLY eye drops recommended for soft contacts.

Best eye drops I’ve ever tried. I use it every night before bed and in the morning. Very refreshing! My cousin introduced me to this product when I was vacationing with them. i woke one morning I could barely open one of my eyes, felt like there was small particle stuck in my eyeball.

She put a couple of drops and it relieved the pain and I was able to open my eye. I had to reapply a few more times because it was still red and by lunch time my eye felt so much better.

Came super fast for coming from Japan. The products I order from China take several weeks if they even show up at all. Not sure what kind of super technology this super tech country used to get them here on the same day as an American product that I ordered on the same day.

My dog needs Optimmune for his eyes for the rest of his life. When the vet charged me, it was $69 for a small tube. It lasted about two weeks. I went to Costco and it cost $57 for a tube. Our dog’s animal ophthalmologist prescribed Optimmune to treat both of his eyes. He is a Boston Terrier and the breed is known for eye problems. His eyes have greatly improved. He will be on Optimmune for life, and we are glad we have this medication available from Entirely Pet Pharmacy at a savings.

My dog’s vet prescribed this ointment due to her tear ducts not producing many tears, leaving her eyes very dry, red and with lots of discharge. She’s been using it for years. It’s quite pricey for a tiny tube.

It’s the cheapest I’ve found though. I buy 2 at a time to get free shopping. The material of the tube is quite poor or thin or something because ointment has oozed out of where it’s not supposed to several times already.

I don’t see any apparent improvement but I suppose it’s better than nothing and I believe it’s better than just normal eye drops. #sweepstakes.
