20 Best Eye Cream For 50S (2023 Updated)

I’ve been using this product twice a day, every day for almost 4 months. Long story short? It didn’t work at all for me. I genuinely feel like Strivectin made the fine lines around my eyes more prominent and look much worse.

Waste of money and now I’m using another brand to work on what Strivectin worsened. I’ve used anti-aging products off all brands and price points. This one is proof that the price does *not* reflect it’s true value.

I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone. Their barrier strengthening oil is good. Anti-aging products? Not so much.

I have been using Age Defender Eye Repair for years and I have tried several different types of eye creams to throw in different active ingredients, but always come back to Age Defender Eye Repair. The other eye creams with active ingredients always irritate my eyes to the point of complete bloodshot eyes.

Age Defender Eye Repair is a reliable eye cream that is non-irritating, gentle and delivers on everything it needs to do (Dark circles, puffiness, smoothing fine lines, etc. ). If you have sensitive skin and a particular sensitive eye area this is a very reliable eye cream to use.

Kiehl’s are my fave, fave brand – oooo I love em! I have sensitive skin so once I find a brand that works for me I stick to it. This cream is pleasant and it certainly moisturises the under eye to plump up fine lines but I’d say it’s a good moisturiser rather than a mighty wrinkle-reducer but then what actually is there in the skincare world to massively affect the thin under eye area? I don’t think there are many skin care miracle workers within the financial reach of most of us so I’d say this is a pleasant way of hydrating the eyes and slowing down the ageing process rather than reversing it.

This is an actual product that worked IMMEDIATELY. Sales lady in the store tried a sample on my face around my eyes, and I put it on and within SECONDS I saw the slight wrinkles (aka crows feet) around the edges of my eyes disappear.

Shocked in a good way. Never heard of this brand but they also are owned by the same company that owns Cerave which I use for soap and I tried their eye cream and it was okay but this one from Kiehl’s was immediate.

The price is a bit high but worth it. I use it twice a day (morning and night).

I was sceptical when I received that little tube. But now I’m at the end of my first tube and it has latest me 5 full months with applying it at least once a day, often twice. After 2. 5-3 months I noticed a visibly improvement of my eye circles.

Now after 5 months, the dark shadows have pretty much fully vanished. I don’t have much experience with skin care products but this one really wowed me. Starting now my second tube.

I can have the tendency to sleep horribly, so under eye bags come with the territory. Clinique for Men Anti-Age Eye Cream has worked like magic at getting rid of my under eye bags and even my really dark circles and has also helped to reduce my fine lines around my eyes visibly.

I have bought this a couple of times, and use it quite a lot, because it really works great- my wife even steals it all the time because she likes it better than the under eye cream she has!.

I introduced the eye cream to my daily routine after using Clinique’s moisturizers (lotion and anti age cream) for months and it has been rewarding so far. A little bit of this product goes a long way.

Its creamy texture makes it really easy to apply under the eyes and on those Crow’s Feet area. I feel like I’m doing something good for myself using this product and that’s already half of the reward in my opinion.

I use it every night before going to bed and combine it with the Anti-age moisturizer. Won’t stop using these two products anytime soon.

This eye cream has some of the major players in it that not only help soothe and hydrate short term, but the ceramides and consist boost of hyaluronic acid can assist with the skin repairing it’s own barrier and trapping the maximum amount of moisture.

While some say that eye cream is not a necessity, especially on a budget, I find that I am experimenting with many different actives right now and some of my moisturizers have those harsher ingredients in them.

I received this sample in the Best of Dermstore kit and while I am still experimenting with other eye creams as I am enjoying trying out a variety of products, I believe their line of products are impressive in formula, consistency and I like the simple branding.

I’m all about antioxidants, especially in my morning routine, and this is a great antioxidant serum while being calming and soothing at the same time (I have sensitive skin). I use this in the morning after my vitamin C serum and before my moisturizer.

It’s a white fluid with the light scent that’s in most Verso products. It absorbs quickly into my skin. I just can’t get past the packaging (1 star deduction for it): the fluid is too thick for a pipette which picks up too little product and dispenses even less.

I end up picking up the fluid outside the pipette with my fingers (I know, not hygienic!). This product should come in a pump. In a brand like Verso that is positioned in the luxury segment I find this is less acceptable.

but I use at night because it’s a thicker cream. I apply with my fingertips and pat it around my eyes. I’ve definitely seen improvement and added moisture in my skin’s appearance. ➕Good For All Skin Types➕.

If anyone is on the fence about this product please read on!. So I had tardive dyskinesia for a over a year in 2018 and it causes a major twitch in the eyes (as well as other side effects) to the point where I could not see to drive or barely walk down the stairs of my front porch.

Needless to say, it caused ALOT of wrinkles. This product saved my skin and my confidence. It actually REVERSED the damage. I’ve used many eye creams and never once has one actually reversed damage or the effects of aging.

It smoothed out the lines that the twitching had caused The price is fairly high, but a little goes a really long way and one jar last me about 4-5 months. totally worth it. It’s brightening effects are perfect for no makeup days or for when you’re looking a little tired or puffy.

It also solves the lingering symptoms of my “morning after ugly crying face puffiness ” in about two applications and ten minutes. It has a pleasant smell that is not too strong. I am sensitive to cosmetic smells and this one is very pleasing.

It does not make my skin feel oily and I have combination skin so my cheeks (and under eye area) gets oily naturally sometimes, but I’ve never had a bad interaction with this product. Nor has it ever made me breakout.

Olays’ Regenerist Hyaluronic + Peptide 24 Gel Face Moisturizer, Fragrance-Free, is all and all an okay product. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion, but I am still not sure what my opinion is.

I have been using this product for 2 weeks, but have seen zero results. I always feel like my skin is dry and my wrinkles are more pronounced after use. I have combination skin and in the areas where my skin is oily, the product seems to help.

I do like the gel-like consistency. It feels cool on my skin on hot days. I can easily apply makeup over the product, which is a huge benefit in my book.

I love this eye cream! I use it religiously – a gentle pat around my eye socket along the bone margins and let it soak in. I have bags and work from inner edge to outer edge along the bag edge not too close to my eye.

I swear there is a noticeable reduction in fine lines crepiness. Also, because I use a moisturising sunscreen suitable for eyes, I feel the skin is firmer on the lid. Only use a tiny amount! It goes a long way and lasts ages.

I bought this to try and start my retinol journey as I have read reviews from starters that it is gentle enough to be used every night. I have combination skin and my main target are breakouts on my cheeks and temples.

It has been 6 nights of using this every night. There has been no sign of any irritation until today (Day 7) when I applied my sunscreen. I noticed that my cheek bones were BURNING! When I looked in the mirror, I saw some burnt patches.

A small amount is needed and is easily massaged into skin. I noticed my skin was smoother and more taught after just my first week. It did seem to smooth out fine wrinkles in the corners of my eyes. My deeper lines are so depressed that a more powerful concentration will be needed for those and I believe the night cream with retinol is helping.

I will let you be the judge of that in my pics. I am in my 40’s and I should have taking care of my skin since my 20’s, however, I have been doing the polar opposite; so now I pay. This also means I need a powerful regimen and the day, nor night Loreal creams I received have powerful enough percentages for what I need to rewind the hands of time.

However based on its thick yet weightless and non-greasy formula. Combined with its affordability (less than $20/jar and a healthy sized jar. I definately give it an 8/10 and would/will (undecided) would use as the finishing layer over a stronger retinol.

I upped my sunscreen while using this cream and was surprised it had not formulated this cream without any. Also I really dislike the fact that the 35+ version has collagen yet the 45+ doesn’t. A side note the age groups it comes in are 35+,45+ and 55+.

I was thrilled to receive a complimentary jar of the @lorealparis wrinkle expert anti-wrinkle moisturizer day/night from @chickadvisor. I have struggled to find a product that moisturizes all day yet works on my skin to promote firmness while reducing wrinkles.

While I have just received this product the one thing I can say is that I love it. It is light weight and creamy it is not greasy on my skin. It is the perfect base for my makeup. My skin absolutely felt hydrated and softer.

Firstly, I come from a long line of Olay users; four generations worth. It has always been a part of our skin routine and kept the women of our family looking youthful and radiant. Though, I can not say that I noticed instantaneous results, I can honestly report that after the ten day period however, I did noticed that the puffiness and swelling has come down and the uneven skin tone (dark circles) have also began to diminish.

The area around my eyes feels very silky smooth to the touch and have become noticeably brighter. That being said, this was not an instant fix and with everything else in life, results may vary from person to person.

This is not my favorite Olay product, but with time, it could easily become a part of my regiment if it continues to improve the problem area. This item was “gifted by First Aid Beauty” in return for my honest review. This Coconut Moisturiser is ideal for dehydrated, combination skin like my own. It has a gel texture that has fluidity so it is really easy to apply & glides across my skin with ease.

I can have quite sensitive skin at times & on occasion this has stung every so slightly for a second or two but not to an extent that I would not use again, because at the same time it has a really great cooling effect on my skin, which instantly calms it.

A little bit really does go a long way & my skin drinks it in almost immediately leaving no sticky residue. My skin after applying feels fresher & more hydrating without feeling oily or weighed down with product.

It plays well with any additional products & they apply over it really smoothly with no pilling or separating. Once I have completed the rest of my routine my skin feels velvety soft & shine free. It’s a great all round, gentle moisturiser that suits my skin perfectly & I would highly recommend.

I was very excited to try this – I’ve used products from FAB in the past, and I was impressed. I’m not sure which ingredient is the culprit here, but something in this is “stinging” my face. It wasn’t quite as bad the 2nd time, so I’m wondering if it’s because I had recently done some hair removal on my lip, which seemed to be where it stung the most.

However, beyond that, it’s leaving my skin feeling pretty dry. I even tried two layers, but I still had to put another moisturizer over both times. I’m going to hold onto this and try it again during the summer months.

My skin gets very dry during the winter and unfortunately, I think this product is just no match for my winter skin. It does leave my skin feeling very smooth, and did not cause any reactions (no redness, breakouts or peeling) other than the slight stinging sensation.

I have been using this eye cream for years and if ever I’m out and have to substitute a cream, I really notice the difference. Absolutely nothing out there compares to this Riche Creme. I prefer using it as a night eye cream and when I wake in the morning, there are no signs of lines or wrinkles.

OMG. so i was skeptical bc i wanted to buy a higher end eye cream. but i saw this one and wanted to try it out. at first, i have to be honest, i had no expectations. it is lightweight, more of a gel formula, and layers beautifully with moisturizer and sunscreen.

for reference i use a vitamin c ROC moisturizer and the latoche posay anthelios sunscreen. i noticed a solid difference probably after 2 weeks, my eyebags got a little smaller and tighter. now it’s been about a month.

my eyebags are almost GONE. the dark circles-nearly nonexistent. I want to cry of joy because i didn’t think this could be possible. i’m a college student who has a horrible sleeping schedule and i barely got into skincare.

I’m 28, I have been using anti aging skincare products since I was 20 to be proactive in preventing signs of aging of my skin. I haven’t really been dedicated to an eye cream because most of them irritate my eyes and I wake up in the mornings to swollen eyelids and red irritated eyes.

I’ve tried a few other drugstore eye creams that were double the price of this. This has been the best eye cream for me! I put it on in the am and pm and it does not irritate my eyes at all. I do not think this product is meant to significantly reduce bags, crows feet or severe dark circles.

As the name says “Age Defense”, I feel that it is more of preventive measure in helping to prevent aging around the eye. I have noticed a difference though. My eye area looks hydrated and fresh. It does have a slight shimmer to it but it’s not sparkly.

I would say that it just instantly helps to brighten the eye area. It’s light feeling and it is a gel consistency. This is also a very affordable eye cream and I think it is fabulous. I will continue to purchase this over and over.

I usually dont write reviews but this eye cream worth it. I first got this cream as a gift , and since the first week I tried it I notice and improvement. Those dark circles around my eyes started to desapear.

Also the fine lines around the eyes are almost gone. And one thing that I love of this product is that before using it when i wore make up after a couple or hours my make up started to crack and I since I’m using this product that does not happen anymore.

So its a light product that works well under make up and does not cause irritation and does not have a strong fragrance. And it absorbs easy and quickly. What I dont like of this product is the size , I mean why all the eye cream products have to come in small sizes.

And also do not work well reducing puff eyes. But if you want an affordable product that at least work to keep your eyes young this is your product plus is easy to find.

Have been using this green gel for years. Love it! When others have asked what products I use to tame the wrinkles. (I am 72 years young 😉). I tell them about the green retinol gel, sold at Sally’s. I frequently see one of these gals (who was quite wrinkled).

This retinol eye gel is totally amazing. It’s green in color and has some kind of little beads mixed inside. My little secret is keeping it in the fridge, so when I apply it under my eyes, it’s so cool and refreshing.

It litterly helps with bags and you can feel it tightening under your eyes and above your eyes, win win.

I would prefer that it did have had at least a light scent, but there was none, which I’m sure some people would prefer, but I like a soft calming fresh scent. The jar is cute, but I wish it had been bigger, like what you get from other product review companies, where you get more of a reward for the effort you put in.

It is a thick enough constancy where it didn’t easily pour out of the container, but not so thick that it took too much effort to blend into your skin. It was very moisturizing, but soaked into the skin fairly quick.

It wasn’t greasy, so no need to worry about it staining your bedding. I did notice more brightness to my skin, and that it helped minimize my lines around my eyes, which is fantastic! It didn’t irritate my eyes at all, even with putting it up to my lash line.

I have dry eye issues, and many moisturizers make my waterline burn, as well as my eye itself, if the moisturizer gets that close, or in my actual eye due to rubbing my eyes, but this moisturizer did not.

I have been using Clinique Smart Clinical Repair Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream for about two weeks beginning only using on one eye at night for the initial four days then I started using it twice daily on both eyes.

I live at the beach and began using anti-aging skin care, especially for my face in my mid-20’s to minimize any sun damage I’d acquired. During my 30’s I worried about signs of aging and focused on my eye area and now that I’m 40 I can say I have tried tons of products in search of results.

This is one that has stood out from so many others and I will hopefully be able to continue using it. I didn’t need a major overhaul but wanted an eye cream to help erase fine lines and give the appearance of more youthful, “plump” skin under my eyes.

I think my results would be better by now if I used it twice a day from the beginning but I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t irritate my eyes during the day so I only applied at night during the initial 4 days.

The cream is thick but absorbs quickly without leaving any residue and there isn’t much of a scent either. I applied this easily and had no irritation nor adverse reaction of any kind. In fact, the first time I applied it in the morning, I noticed my (face) makeup applied more easily and my under-eye concealer blended without much effort! The picture shows the eye I am applying product on and how different it appears underneath from the other since I also did a comparison test for those first 4 nights.

The skin without Clinique Smart Repair is more red and has a few visible lines whereas the skin where I’m applying product has a more even tone and looks more rested. My mom and sister have already asked what I am doing differently or what product am I using!.

Had this little jar since it dropped and use it daily. The packaging is so cute, it’s a nice glass jar with a metallic lid, it feels substantial and the price is so good. The size and amount of product you get is decent too.

The cream itself feels really soft and light to the touch, it absorbs easily and the smell is not heavily perfumed, which I love. It isn’t completely unscented as it does smell like something, but I don’t find it unpleasant.

Kind of reminds me of rice water as a smell, but looking at reviews, it seems to hit everyone differently. My skin absolutely loves it too! I have quite sensitive combination, maturing skin and some moisturisers for my age group usually sting or smell like flowers, which is why I love this one.

My skin feels plump, hydrated, soft and smooth. When used at night, I wake up to bright, calm, fresh looking skin. This product is something I’d definitely recommend adding to your skin care routine.

I’ve never got on with a moisturiser this well before. I hope it’s back in stock soon because I’ll happily use this forever.

100% honestly here. This isn’t a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. The texture is not the same or even similar. The smell is really unpleasant, very artificial and chemical. The moisture does not last as long as Charlotte Tilbury either.

I’m actually really fed up of people (influenceurs) saying about so called Dupes. You pay for what you get. If you want a cream for only £10 then this may well be for you. But I am highly unimpressed with it being called a dupe for CTMC.

On the plus side if you can stand the smell when you first put it on and it does fade this makes a reasonable base for foundation. But I found the moisture wasn’t enough for me & my skin and the foundation started to look a little dry after about 4 hours.

This does not happen with the CTMC. But can you really compare a product that’s £10 to one that is £75? For me NO. I don’t see any “dupes” as alternatives the the real thing. I would rather they were marketed for what they really are and then the consumer makes an informed choice based on the product not being a dupe for something.

What really annoyed me is untrained, uneducated influencers getting free products to promote them to their followers. I think companies need to do their due diligence on when they are asking influencers to promote their business.

I expected so much more from this cream in one sense but didn’t in others. For me I shall stick to what I know and it won’t be this. Very disappointed.

This is my new face cream. I was beginning to get self conscious about my ageing face, with wrinkles & puffy eye bags. I have bought lots of different cream & eye cream specifically for these issues, but unfortunately noticed no positive changes.

So was seriously considering botox. I have been using Revolution for just over a week now & wow!! I am now seeing changes, especially the wrinkles on forehead & eye bags have vanished. I would definitely recommend & I will definitely be purchasing this again.

Botox is no longer top of my list thanks to this Miracle Cream! Please don’t discontinue, it’s been the best £10 I have ever spent. The only down side to the cream is the smell, but not everything that’s good for you smells nice.

The consistency, texture & results are more important and that’s why I give it 5*. This is a genuine review & have not been paid or received this product free to review.
