20 Best Eye Covers For Sleeping (2023 Updated)

I have nerve damage and sometimes sleeping is an issue due to the my right eye not closing during sleep. I wake up with the worst day destroying dry eye every so often. I was told to check out a sleep mask and to check E-bay.

This mask has good strength for keeping eyes shut but not hurting or constricting your head while on. I’ve slept better lately than I have in years. I also seem to sleep a lot more now! Mask is so silky soft and absolutely perfect! I do recommend!.

Great quality and soft silk. Feels so nice against your face and completely blocks out all light. My former mask only had an elastic strap which was not adjustable. The Alaska Bear strap is totally adjustable for a very comfortable fit.

I like it loose not tight; so, the adjustable feature is perfect for me. This is a great value for the price. I highly recommend it.

My last sleep masks always fell off. They are cheap and work to begin to sleep, but they always come off. I tried to find a cheap sleeping mask to order here to Norway, but found none. Found this and a few others.

The price of two masks with postage was skyhigh, but now I sleep better, and that makes it worth it. So these don’t fall off. These feel really nice on my face. They are huge in size, so no chance of sunlight coming through.

When I lose these two, I will definetly just buy more of these.

Okay. I’m going to be honest. I haven’t had a headache since I bought this to truly text it out, but the last time I had a headaches, I found myself wishing someone would make a weighted eye mask so that I could apply pressure to my sinus points without having to hold my hand there…since, after all I knew sleep would also help my headache.

Two weeks later I stumbled upon this mask in Hallmark. While I haven’t had to use it yet for a headache, I have put it over my eyes to see if it would indeed apply light pressure. Where I typically need it to, and it did.

I have trouble falling asleep after I wake up (or get woken up) in the middle of the night. I also deal with ambient light issues from my neighbor’s security lights. This sleep mask really helps me to rest when I need to.

I don’t necessarily fall back asleep, but it helps me relax, don’t toss and turn, and I feel more rested when I do get up. It also helps staying asleep / restful during sunrise as it totally blocks the light.

I am not a sleep mask person, I have never used a sleep mask regularly or kept one by my pillow. Last night when I wanted to use it and couldn’t find it I almost flipped out. It had fallen behind the bed, but I couldn’t rest until I retrieved it.

I also have dry eye, and I think this indirectly helps with it by preventing me from opening my eyes or being affected from airflow.

Love the Nodpod. I’ve always had trouble sleeping on my back but I sleep like a baby now with the Nodpod. It just is a nice light weight for your eyes. I’ve used it sleeping on my side and it works great as well.

So much better than eye masks that go around your head. They never stay in place and really don’t block the light completely. Totally recommend this!.

I own a sleep mask for myself and I am in love with it! I bought one as a gift for someone’s birthday because I love the product and I would like to share the quality with someone else who I love. So ordered this sleep mask and I received it quickly in the mail.

It came in a polymailer, unpadded, and barely large enough to hold the item. Therefore, due to the nature of the shipping process the package was noticeably squished. I removed the item from the mailing package and was further disappointed.

Since this product is a gift, I need to wrap the mask in its original packaging. But, the packing is smashed and deformed. It is so damaged that the top of the box no longer closes properly and the stickers that secure the opening are broken.

I was very excited to receive this package because it is a gift for an upcoming birthday. I am aware this is not entirely Kitsch’s fault, things happen in the mail and packages are not treated as delicately as they should due to high shipping volumes.

But, Kitsch could consider using more high quality shipping materials to ensure minimal damage is done to their products. I hope this issue is resolved so that future customers do not have to be let down like I was.

This is my first time using an eye mask since i’m having more trouble getting sufficient rest due to hardships in my life. This, paired with earplugs & a headband has helped me to be in my own quiet world, & for that, I am grateful.

The mask is really soft & comfortable as well as easy to lift/ remove if I have to spot my cats or something. It’s adjustable & appears easy to clean with wipes I have. It’s not heavy nor too light & it’s helped block out the lights my neighbors have been shining at night that come through my window.

Blocking out the light & having my eyes shut under the mask get me to sleep faster. It’s a beautiful product.

Just bought this so disappointing. It has a terrible chemical smell from the dyeing process I assume. The stitching is obviously uneven around the mask shape, and is frayed in sections. The Kitsch label is frayed and unevenly stitched on.

There is a dye transfer warning which is not something I want to see in a product that goes on my face. The adjustable strap is a repurposed bra strap. I was super unimpressed considering the cost. Can’t even try it for sleep because of how aggressive the smell is.

I have had terrible sleep my entire life! So as an adult I go through phases where I literally BARELY sleep – more like an evening nap and maybe a late morning nap if I have enough time. 4 hours is a miracle sometimes.

I have tried ALL THE THINGS and nothing really works consistently. I do take up&up sleep pills sometimes too, those kinda help, but not always. I recently read a study that said even 50 lumens of light (less than most nightlights) will interrupt your sleep cycles badly.

So I grabbed one of these with my groceries thinking “no way will this work” because I’ve tried half a dozen sleep masks before and they are all terrible. NOPE. Love at first sleep! I am pretty much always getting 5 hours a night now, minimum, which sounds ridiculous but is actually a MIRACLE for me! TLDR: Buy it, you won’t be disappointed.

I have not had ANY issues with staining and the fit is great if you use the velcro to make it snug! Even my hubby had to have his own after just trying these for one nap on a weekend. We will forever keep a backup mask too, and never travel without these in our bags!.

I’ve used 4 different sleep masks and this one is my favorite. I’m not sure why it’s dying other peoples skin, I haven’t had an issue with that. it is cushioned around the edges which is so comfortable and helps prevent light from coming in around the nose area.

It slips off far less than my silk ones, and I love how affordable it is. I’m not worried about it getting damaged or lost like many others on the market. The ONLY downside to consider is while there is padding around the edges that create a gap between your eyelid and the mask itself which is nice, the mask itself is not cupped.

So, if you have eyelash extensions or sensory sensitivities this is something to remember. 🙂 side note- I’ve used mine for about 6 months now.

I’ve done shift work, overnights, swing shifts, for over five years. Tried several different kinds. This one is the best!!! Got it a couple months ago, using it every day, and it’s still as good as new – eye mask part is a very sturdy but forgiving foam, with soft cover material.

My bedroom window faces the sunrise, but this blocks light better than others. I don’t see any light except a very faint muted glow at the very edge during summer and nothing now in autumn. Molds to face very comfortably and you can’t feel the adjustable velcro/elastic straps because the mask part fits eyes so well – and I’ve got a large head with a big nose (not a perfect fit but very close, and the pads give a lot of buffer room for different faces).

I’m sleeping better than I have in years!.

I’ve used a number of blindfolds before, but never have I had one that was so comfortable as this one. It says it’s 100% cotton, but when I put it on I felt like I was wearing a silken material. It was so soft.

I really like how it is built up around the eyes so that your eyes are not in contact with the mask. And it shuts out all light completely so it can be used as a blindfold if desired. Great buy!.

Comfortable and good price for the item. Silky material. Stretch band on the back feels good. Fits me and the hubs without losing shape or stretching out. I very much like this mask. The strip is like a scrunch so no annoying painful buckles.

So overall everything was awesome, we had some hiccups but either they have amazing customer service people or the BEST more realistic bots in the business. lol. I had some issues bc of international shipping but they didn’t ignore or dismiss me, they addressed my concerns and when my masks disappeared into the ether (in Germany of all places) they replaced them super quickly.

In the end the original ordered showed up months later and they told me to keep them as a gift. A+ thanks so much! As for the masks, I gave my extra Maxi set to my friend as a gift and I have been using the silk one.

It’s very nice and soft on the face, my only objection is I feel I need to clean it more often bc. it seems to pick up oil more. Thought as I type this it occurs to me, that maybe I’m just gross and don’t clean my masks enough and the other ones I can’t tell.

I was mulling over this purchase for ages, y’all. I was like infinitely adjustable? Bet. 100% blackout? No way. But I reached out to their CX team about fit and stomach sleeping – got a very thorough, very prompt response.

With the amazing return policy and the fire customer service I decided to go for it. I am OBSESSED with this thing. It IS LEGIT 100% BLACKOUT. I don’t register any light whatsoever when my partner is reading, the silk is gooey soft, my hair doesn’t get stuck in this truly 22nd century velcro on the strap, and I am living my absolute best life.

I should preface this by stating that I own the following Manta products; Original Slim Heated eye Cooling eye Weighted Silk I suffer from migraines often. Each of these products help pull me through an attack depending on the severity.

I love the hot/cold options with the weighted mask to put pressure on just the right places. Sometimes, when I want as little pressure as possible, the slim and regular cups come in to play. I get super light sensitive with my migraines so I rely heavily on blackout options.

Although, I use the mask for migraine relief but also every night for good sleep. Recently, the SILK mask dropped. All of the previous purchasers gave rave reviews so I went for it. Is it pricey? Yes.

Is it worth it? Also, yes. Upon arrival I was blown away with the feel of this mask. It’s quite substantial and not flimsy or floppy at all. It has a great feel to it and when worn, really contours to your head and face.

The silk is plush unlike cheap silk masks I used to wear that slipped and slid around all night. I personally didn’t realize that the silk mask doesn’t have elastic on the headband until after a couple nights of wearing it.

I really like that because once I began comparing it to my regular manta mask, I realized the elastic was wearing out a bit on it. (It’s been really well loved. ) The silk mask is now my go-to for sleeping.

I love Manta products and am so grateful for the quality sleep they’ve given me. I look forward to bed and no longer toss and turn – especially during travel where odd lights in hotel rooms and traffic lights from vehicles disturb sleep easily.

I love this mask so much I’ve actually bought 5 and they live in my freezer. When I’m not sleeping, I put them on my forehead and then just rotate them out as they start getting warm. I have headaches and these masks help so much with either helping the actual headache diminish or having my brain focus so much on the cold of the mask, the headache doesn’t hurt as much.

Either way, it’s wonderful. Pros: – Cloth side feels very luxurious. The fabric is so soft! – Incredibly comfortable and easily adjustable. – Velcro seems like magic and doesn’t get stuck in your hair.

– Doesn’t have that “cold burn” felling at all like similar products do. For me, even straight out of the freezer and directly onto my eyes, it’s never too cold. It feels great. – The mask stays cold longer than I had expected.

Cons: – It’s not even really a con, but with heavy usage I can tell the stretchiness of the strap is definitely going to wear out eventually and then the two velcro strips won’t be able to stay together to keep the mask on, but that will be easily fixed with just some velcro tape.

– Also if you’re looking for a mask that completely blacks out light, this is not the mask for you. I find the amount of light it blocks out quite calming and lovely. I’m sorry I don’t have any feedback for the warmth function, but I solely use these as cooling masks.

This cooling mask was recommended to me by the manager. My husband had blepharoplasty and he needed a mask that he could refrigerate and freeze. This one is really comfortable for him. One side is smooth and doesn’t stick to stitches, the other side is a soft washable Terry cloth fabric.

It also has a Velcro band that goes around the head to help hold it in place. It has little gel beads inside it so that is conforms to the eye area really well. Reminds me of the “bag of frozen peas” that the Dr.

s recommend.

I’m actually a migraine / sinus sufferer. Freezing masks like these and wrapping them around the head is honestly a godsend. I lost my last one somehow and replaced it with this and it’s HUGE! bigger than the size of my hand by a few inches.

Really cushy beads. Nice durable strap on it. I’m sure this would totally work for puffiness. Very soft.

This is the third eye mask I’ve ordered in the past year. I’m not too picky so I didn’t return the prior two that had odd straps. This one blows those out of the water. The padding is dead on. And the smooth and wide adjustable Velcro strap is perfectly done so it doesn’t run on the ears wrong.

Quite possibly the best attribute is the piece of fabric that is built in to sit below the eyes on the inside of the mask. It works soooo well. No light in at all. Even when its day light. The thickness if the mask itself would take care of most of that but that extra feature finishes it off.

This is definitely the perfect sleep mask as far as I’m concerned. My partner and I both use sleep masks and we’ve filtered through about 5 different styles/designs. This one hits all the marks of what we’ve been looking for.

It keeps 💯 of the light out. When you lay on your side it doesn’t move to the side like all of the others. It’s super breathable. The straps are wide enough that it doesn’t stretch the center when it’s snug.

And they don’t dig into my ears like some of the thinner straps others have had.

Amazing. Will buy this again. Only feedback would be to make the Velcro go the full length of the strap. I have it barely attached because I need the tightness. I prolly will buy Velcro & add it to the strap to hold it together better.

As far as being fully dark & having room to open your eye- best mask ever. Let’s 100% no light in. I’m shocked. I can fully open my eyes. This is super soft. Not bulky. It’s amazing.

It’s a very good blackout mask. It covers the eye space entirely and then some. I sleep on my back and on my side and it works for both. I have very fine slippery hair and the mask only slips a tiny bit.

was delayed due to storms in Louisiana. Also if you want a awesome notes sleep buy this sleep mask AND get a pair of disposable earplugs. I cut mine in half. Im a small lady and the size they come in is way too big.

lol hard to side sleep with those big earplugs. lol But this sleep mask doesn’t move all over. easy on your eyes. no pressure either. But don’t use it wearing mascara it would ruin the mulberry silk material.

Hand wash can toss in dryer on air fluff or warm air for a couple minutes that’s it. silk ruins easily and grays so be careful washing. It’s worth the extra care for such softness!!! I LOVE it and I’m buying another as backup.

Exactly what I was searching for. I have slept longer and better in the week I have used this mask. Yes, I can see some light around the bottom of the mask. But, it was very little and I can live with that.

The mask is light weight and the adjustable strap makes it comfortable. If I ever need a replacement, I will purchase another one of these!.

The Alaska Bear eye mask for sleeping is the best brand of eye masks that I’ve ever used. I own masks from two other manufacturers, and while they work, I prefer the Alaska Bear masks. They are the best at staying in place during the night, and the best shaped for keeping light out of my eyes.

I really like this sleep mask. It’s not too thick, not too thin. The band is a little uncomfortable on the ears when sleeping on your side. But, it’s nice that it is adjustable like a bra strap is. I love the feeling of silk, too.

I highly recommend this because of the great eye coverage and darkness as well.

Mask does not have to be adjusted tight to block out light below nose. It’s soft. No annoying edges. Not sure how it contours around the eye sockets and nose but it does. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MASK TO THOSE ON GRAVEYARD SHIFT.

I’ve used sleep masks for decades because I work nights, sleep days. I’ve bought and used multiple high quality products but have never been happy with the direct pressure they put on my eyes or their level of adjustability.

Many masks, secured by elastic, wear out quickly and don’t stay in place. I saw Manta promoted by one of my favorite YouTubers just as my last sleep mask needed to be replaced, so I figured I’d try it out.

It shipped very quickly, and is made of very nice materials. I took a little bit of time to adjust the eye cups to my liking, adjusted the headband and tried it that first day. The Manta really did block out all the light.

It was incredibly comfortable for back and side sleeping. It stayed in place throughout my sleep cycle. The cups not pushing directly on my eyes was something I didn’t realize I needed so badly. The mask was breathable and never got uncomfortably hot either.

Being able to sleep well makes these a must for anyone who struggles with sleep or works strange hours. I honestly can’t recommend Manta enough. Best impulse buy I’ve ever made.

Now that I’ve had this mask a few months, I can give an honest opinion of it. Overall, great mask. Total light blocking like it was advertised, comfortable, and easy to adjust. The few cons I have are if you’re a toss and turn sleeper like I am, the mask can get uncomfortable quickly.

Another is that if you have daith piercings, this mask will bug them. I have the piercing in my left ear and will always wake up with the mask pushing my ears down and agitating it. Another is that, even though it’s light, the eye cups can be warm and if you sleep hot like I do, they can get sweaty so I would suggest with going with their cooler mask (which I might do in the future).

Overall, a great sleep mask for the ones that are out on the market, I do recommend it but I would have gone with a little bit better model now that I’ve tried the basic mask. 4 out of 5 stars.

Rarely do I expect an impluse buy to live up to my expectations but these sleep masks happened to be the outlier. I ordered the original mask and the combo pack with the heat/cold eye cups. The original mask works as advertised.

The cups are wide and deep so that your eyelashes don’t brush against them. The light blocking is pretty much 100% even if your laying with a room light on. If you’re in a mostly dark room, forget seeing any glimmer of light while wearing it.

This is great for me since I work nights and sleep all day. Even with blackout curtains, some sunight still creeps in and for anyone who has never worked night shift, yes, it is as annoying as the internet memes make it seem so the light blocking from the mask is a dream (pun intended).

The heat cups work great for puffy eyes and especially stuffy sinuses which was a pleasant surprise to me. The cold works great at the end of a long day and for headaches (and easing of migraine pain as well).

Now for anyone like me who’s never used a mask before, I will say I *do* notice the sensation of wearing it which takes some getting used to. That’s not to say it isn’t comfortable but even the mask that won the international totally 100% most comfortable mask award is going to be noticed by the person who’s not used to sleep masks.

It’s soft, it moves well while you adjust your head on the pillow, and it provides bonus effects to eyes and sinuses. I couldn’t recommend this enough.

he construction seems to be good, and the silk fabric is soft and comfortable (note that it does press directly on the eyes, unlike the deep foam ones). The strap has a nice sliding adjuster too, rather than velcro, so it doesn’t stick to my hair.

Surprisingly, the adjuster generally stays in place, only needing minor tuning every week or so. The price is reasonable, as well.

I have to use sleep masks in order to get a goodnight’s rest. Any light bothers me, even the small LED ones on phones, smoke detectors, etc. This mask feels wonderful! And it is larger than most so it blocks out the light well without covering your whole face.

The silk doesn’t drag against your skin or eyelids allowing you to sleep in comfort.

I bought this for my migraines (I am sensitive to lavender) to see if it’d help at all. It definitely does help, the lavender smell is pretty strong but it’s not overwhelming! The weight it perfect, not too heavy or too light that you wouldn’t notice!.

I was able to find your popular leopard print neck warmer because it was out of stock with you, but I had to complete the Christmas package with your I mask. She would lol LOVE it. I bought the grey combo for my grand daughter for Christmas, and several of the animals.

I had submitted a review on 03/01 saying I was a bit disappointed with the SIlk Mask simply because it didn’t seem to fit so well, it was a bit tight. The support team promptly contacted me, offered to replace the product and sent me a brand new mask through express post! The mask I received was slightly wider, which is the PERFECT FIT for me.

Love my new silk sleep mask! I love the material…the quality is luxurious. I did extra research in finding the perfect sleep mask. The strap is a little on the tight side. Hopefully it loosens up with time.

A Sleep mask it own looks fine. But packing was rough it came with thin only paper wrap (paper came very wrinkle). I order 2 items, one is 2 pillowcase marble set with sleep mask and another one is white sleep mask.

What customer expected was It should come in an own package you shown on your website not just this paper wrap and put them together in one box. Fabric of this item is better than marble. It had more fineness.

But i would order this as a gift to my mom but now i can’t since packaging (thin wrinkle paper with one sticker) made it looks too cheap to give them as a gift. Very disappoint.

I bought this eye mask because a friend had one of the same brand and it was indeed really soft and comfortable. However the one I received was made of cheap nylon and not the felt/velvet cover we can see on the pictures.

Which means this mask is not comfortable, quite itchy, and also very noisy everytime you move.

Does what it needs to do but isn’t the most glamorous. But if it blocks out the sun… I’m happy.

To be honest I never had much luck with sleep masks before. They were either too hot, too tight or just plain bothersome! These masks, however have been such a lifesaver especially in the summer!! They are soft, smooth & don’t get cloyingly warm! I have found that if I put the band under my ponytail.

it stays in place throughout my sleeping! I personally find the darker colors really do an excellent job of keeping the light out too! They hand wash nicely & dry fairly quickly ( since I’m guilty of smearing on the eye cream & then a few seconds later the eye mask! I for one always have an extra ( or maybe 5) around! Definitely pack well for air travel also! Please don’t stop making these!!.

I wear a sleep mask nightly, so have several. This one is my new favorite. It’s so soft and much to my surprise is completely light blocking. I thought it might let some light in due to the color, but no worries at all.

I have curly hair that I pineapple at night, but this doesn’t get in the way at all. Excellent product.

I was really looking forward to this release because I needed a new sleep mask and new BeautyPie would deliver good quality. While the material feels luxe, the mask is too tight and uncomfortable to sleep in.

It also discolors very easily. With just a few wears, I have black streaks running over the whole mask. I bought two so I could give one as a gift but don’t feel I can gift it.
