20 Best Expression Pedal For Guitar (2023 Updated)

A nice budget priced pedal solidly built. No, it’s not metal, but is pretty rugged anyway. I don’t have expression pedals to use it with but do have passive pickups that have no volume control. I’m not sure if there is a way to calibrate it.

The throw from silent to loudest is pretty even and it might be nice to be able to have a short-short throw calibration for quick swells, but will work fine as is with full motion. For a good functional mini volume this is a good pedal for those that don’t want to spend $100 for such a basic pedal.

Great Passive Volume pedal. No battery required. No tone sucked. Fits anywhere. Does what it says. Seems rugged (although it IS new so I cannot officially confirm this yet). Great value.

I was surprised by the quality of this pedal. I was looking for a volume pedal with a simple design at a good price and I found it. I really like the size and brown color of this pedal. It is not built from cheap plastic and the pedal offers smooth and accurate operation.

I also like the rubber on the pedal, it is well secured and prevents foot slipping during performance.

Great, sturdy pedal. As expected it works flawlessly with my headRush Gigboard. Just make sure you have/order a balanced/TRS cable to connect the two. You can use a standard mono guitar cable for the toe switch function.

But for full use of the variable expression pedal itself you will need a TRS cable.

Although rather pricey for a very simple passive device, this is a first rate complement to the Headrush Pedalboard. The construction feels military spec. Even more rugged than the body of a crybaby.

The pedal action is easily adjusted for personal taste with a supplied Allen key. It works seamlessly with the onboard pedal after a simple change in the global parameters page. I have it permanantly set to use for performance as an output master volume control but it can be assigned to almost any required parameter.

Killer tones I have been searching for. No amp required – sounds great straight into the mixer and out the PA. No more fiddling with knobs between songs during a gig. Build setlists for your entire gig, and even “scenes” within specific tunes.

Seamless switching between patches.

Overall: This pedal gives you so many good sounds for the money. it is ridiculous. That is IF you build your own patches. Although some factory settings are pretty cool, which could give you an idea for pedal chain ordering.

I have had several Zoom multi-effects, including the MS50, 505 II, G3, and I also have the B1 Four for bass practicing. I tell you, these are killers for the sounds, even just for the modulation and reverbs.

Is it good for rehearsal? ABSOLUTELY. It is so portable and lightweight and can easily fit into your gigbag. For a small club show, when the stage space is tight? Hell yea. I put my Volume and wha pedals in front of it.

Case closed. Yea yea. I know, it is made of a hard plastic, so that is not my cup of tea either. But for this price, what more can you ask for. Easy navigation, intuitive interface, and most importantly-it sound good.

Trust me, I do have my stand-alone pedalboard with every effect I need. But when the time for cable connection and space connection is limited, this guy is a good solution. Other multi-effects I own or have owned: Digitech: RP500, RP255, RP100A, RP200, RP80, RP90Korg: AXG1000, AXG3000Boss: ME30, ME70Zoom: 505II, G3, B1 Four, MS50G.

I can’t speak to it’s use in a live setting , that’s not what I bought this for but to have at home to record whether bedroom music or demos it’s perfect. The effects are great they’re easy to use, the older Zoom models were a bit laborious to set up and get sounding right but this has enough knobs to feel like you are just setting up any stand alone pedal.

The distortions, the delays, reverbs etc are all good but it’s the amp modelling and the EQ options that make it a great little tool to work with. No amp or no room for one in your apartment where your neighbours will pound the walls if you so much as sneeze too loud? No problem !!! this little guy’s got you covered.

A little tinkering and your demos sound better, a little more and you can get a reasonably good sound for home recordings. The looper is great, its easy to use. The tuner is good. What’s not to love ? Plug this into your computer or your four-track or whatever recording devise you’ve got on with the earphones and you have a decent sounding pedal board and amp which takes up as much space as a box of chocolates.

No one will be any the wiser. I’m sure I sound like an absolute shill for Zoom. I don’t care I have a bunch of their gear and I love it all. Is it built to survive the apocalypse? No. Most of the stuff I own is plastic.

Is it as warm and distinctive as Electro-harmonix or Boss ? No, but it’s cheap and it’s solid and it works. Is it going to sound perfect through your huge amp? I don’t know but it’s probably not the point.

Me – I make music at home with cheap gear because I have no money or space. Zoom are a gift to home recorders everywhere. And thanks to everyone at DV247 as well. Very helpful during a difficult time to get products shipped efficiently.

this one does as well. but source audio style. source audio is not Boutique, is not made in America, but it’s an extremely high end products that nobody else makes. Their midi gear , (not the pedals) but the Soleman, neuro hub, etc.

This does what all expression pedals do, except this one can be used on multiple pedals and has many more features. So for that one reviwer that thabks to his ignorance about what an Expression pedal does or doesn’t do.

It’s an expressions pedal and does what it needs to do. Purchased for use with Source Audio pedals and a Morning Star MC6.

If you’re looking for the perfect “match” for your Source Audio product insofar as an expression pedal goes, this is it. If you are seeking a generic expression pedal, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this over something that’s got smoother action (particularly if you’re looking to use this as an “expression wah pedal”.

Built well and works as it should.

I am ordering a second EP1-L6 to go along with another EP1-L6 and the EP1-Helix to use with the Helix Control and Helix Rack. I was using 2 Roland EV5s in place of the EP1-L6, but after the 7. 71 update those became erratic as controllers but still work just fine with my Roland FC-200.

These are solid, road worthy construction for any professional setup. Smooth treadle, works flawless with the Helix Rack/Control. Designed to work with, and look great with, any Line 6 product that uses an expression pedal input.

To other reviewers: The EP1-Helix has the toe switch to turn an effect on/off. The Helix only has one input for this function, but has 3 other expression pedal inputs. These are designed to work with Line 6 products only.

If you have another brand device, either get the dedicated pedal from Mission (like the EP1 for Avid, or Kemper) or use the standard EP1. I would guess that this is why my EV5s stopped working correctly with Line 6, but works just fine with other equipment.

I think most musicians can agree when I say that Dunlop not only spearheads innovation and quality, but it has also provided the tools of creativity that have helped pave the way for many signature sounds.

The Rotovibe is no exception. I was going to do a strictly factual review, but I think it would do the pedal a bit more justice if I describe how it bloomed in my own experience. I first purchased this pedal in search of a good chorus.

I knew it had the tremolo switch but never knew I would find a use for it. The chorus is rich and the tremolo is wide. It doesn’t lack depth with either of them, but I couldn’t really place why this pedal was a rocker type rather than just a stompbox to just set and forget about.

Later in the same week of purchasing the Rotovibe, it had already begun to sit and stagnate on my pedal board. That is until I looked into how Zakk Wylde gets some of the crazy sounds he did. After watching a few live performances, I decided to venture with the pedal and press that switch that turns chorus into tremolo.

I never thought I could apply this pedal until that moment. All of a sudden I had crazy amounts of pseudo vibrato at my disposal. I bad no clue what to do with it. My rhythms were laid out as the mellow vacuum of space, while my leads became the piercing blasts of invaders from another world.

I definitely found out what that pedal was meant to do.

I bought this pedal years ago and it has not disappointed yet! It’s built tuff and looks the biz with it’s red and chrome finish. It can run off 9v or AC power. The tonal quality and lushness of the pedal with the chorus and vibe modes running simultaneously is delicious and you have total adjustability over the sweep speed with the wah style pedal.

You can also adjust for vibe only (like a tremolo), chorus only, or a combo of the two. In addition, you can also adjust the intensity or depth of the vibe (smooth or choppy). Hendrix, Trower. it’s all in this pedal.

This is the finest expression pedal I have ever had the pleasure to use, I use it with the Helix Rack Control for a Wha Wha Pedal, It exact in every way as for the control your able to configure.

I was so happy with the first one of these I bought, I had to pickup another to get the full use of my Line 6 M13 pedal board. At first, I was hesitant to purchase this item as every negative comment I found related to the Ex-1 was about the plastic body.

I’d rather have had a metal casing, but for the price, you can’t beat it. The body is much thicker plastic than I thought it would be, and as long as you’re not jumping on the thing, it will probably hold up as necessary.

I’m 6′ tall and 230lbs; the pedal has no problem working with me. One other downside might be the short attachment cable that comes with the pedal. It’s only about 2′ long and it works for me, but I’d rather have had a 3′ cable.

As for functionality, I can’t say much as it is simply an expression pedal and does exactly what it’s supposed to.

Solid! I read reviews about his pedal being made out of plastic and was concerned. Listen, this pedal is VERY well built. you would have to intentionally try to break it. The plastic feels like metal.

it’s that solid. It’s operation is smooth from heel to toe. The cable it came with, however, is an abomination. Mine broke immediately upon arrival. Just toss that guy in the trash right away and get a nice cable for it.

Honestly though, I’m glad i picked this pedal up.

sharing. This On-Stage pedal surprised me with its sturdy build, secure footing and grip, and good travel range and adjustment. I look forward to comparing it to my Yamaha model once settled in.

IšverstiShow in original languageI use it, as an expression/volume pedal with my Casio synthesizer. Steady, sturdy, non-slipping away, easy to set with minimum level, thanks to the knob on the side. I use it with Casio, but it can be used with ANY type of keyboard, bc of it polarity switch.

I would recommend this product to anybody, who needs effect expression/volume pedal. Unless, of course, if you want the pedal to be of the same brand, as the device, you plan to use it with. Otherwise, this pedal is an ideal solution.

Good quality, great features, great price!.

I’ve tried many pedals with my ROLI Seaboard Grand. This is the only one that works properly with MIDI Expression control connected to that instrument. Also, the internal sounds of the Seaboard don’t currently allow direct continuous pedal control, so the dual analog ins and outs of the XVP-20 really came in handy for connecting to the stereo outputs of the Seaboard allowing for stereo analog volume control.

No other pedal that I’ve seen offers sufficient controls for these tasks. The pedal also has a very nice feel, especially after I made a slight adjustment to tighten it slightly. The XVP-20 has a solid build and weight, and with wide rubber footing, it sits firmly in place and doesn’t move around like other pedals I’ve used.

I chose this pedal because I have always trusted Korg! This did not let me down. It is built like a tank! Solid, and durable. I am guessing this will last for many years. The connections feel like high quality.

The pedal is very smooth to operate, and just heavy enough that it does not slide around. Excellent pedal.

This pedal is built like a tank and has extremely smooth action. I use this as an expression pedal with a Korg Prologue synth. Though it also operates as a volume pedal it’s not designed to operate as both an expression and volume pedal simultaneously.

Highly recommended.

The whole point whit this pedal is the low price cobined with all the features that makes it versatile and usable with a reasonably wide range of effect pedals. In this regard, this expression pedal is ubeatable: for about half the price of other trendy expression pedals you get polarity switch, inversion switch and floor sweep adjustment.

On the other hand the construction quality leaves to be desired: light plastic that you can only wonder about its durability, the sweep is nice and familiar to anyone using CryBabies or Voxes but the taper is steep, meaning you will struggle to use the rocker in the middle of his excursion and therefore exploit the most expressive of its range.

All in all it is a very good entry to expression pedals, but once you have familiarised yourself with the matter and decided that you need an expression pedal, you will look for something else.

My first impression of this pedal was that it is super lightweight and made entirely of plastic, which I felt somewhat concerned about. I didn’t read up on it enough and I figured it would be made of metal, but is in fact a plastic compound.

That being said, I’ve had it on my board for two years and it works exactly as it did the day I got it. It actually works out really well that it weighs next to nothing, as many other expression pedals add unneeded weight to your board; not this one.

It’s rugged and it works. The controls are all functional, nothing really to complain about. My only two beefs with this pedal are that the sweep isn’t quite as even as I’d like it to be, and the feel of that sweep is also a little odd.

I had hoped it would be a nice smooth sweep with plenty of room to work with, fading in over the course of two to four measures if need be, with a smooth feel with a subtle resistance against your foot.

It is mostly smooth, but you can lightly feel the gear moving tick-by-tick over the inch or so that you have to work with (not a super big deal, but worth mentioning), and it seems to fade in slowly for the first half and more quickly with the second half.

I might just be using it improperly, but that’s how it seems to me. You can of course minimize this a little by tweaking the settings. All of this is strictly my opinion, and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Overall, it’s a solid pedal and well worth picking up. For most people and most applications, it’ll be great.

Overall: Considering the price, the flexibility and quality is excellent. Although made of a plastic material it feels rugged. I stomp back and forth on this thing constantly to throw analog delays out of whack in conjunction with pitch shifting, so I’ve put this pedal through its paces and Im very impressed, especially for the price.

The ability to tweak each expression individually so they work together is an excellent and intuitive feature. IF they made a model with the ability to A/B/both the expressions, that would be only thing I would find superior to this expression pedal.

I will be buying more of these. If they made mini version of these pedals, I would buy them as well, in a heartbeat.

Bought for Boss KTN 100 Amp, with GAFC, and EV5, to supplement and exploit the control of it’s many, many internal features, plus options to control the few external pedals I own, on guitar input, or in the FX loop.

Like the build quality, size (pretty much same as EV5, and/or Cry Baby Junior), dual expression feature. Would like: add a latching wah type switch, with on/off/separate output. Less dull colour. Rubber top.

It took me a while to process the order, during which it fell outside the next day delivery window, however, a call to check on delivery resulted in PMT immediately looking at whether it could still catch that day’s shipment, and then ensured it did and delivered that weekend, so very, very impressed and pleased.

This expression pedal from Boss is outstanding especially when coupled to another FX pedal like the Boss AW3 Dynamic Wah. Dynamic Wah pedals aren’t particularly convincing by themselves but when used with a high quality expression pedal like the EV30 they are fantastic.

Range of motion with the pedal is very good and the up/down polarity is easily changed with a switch. The EV30 is well made and rugged, it’s “NOT” a piece of plastic junk like so many others I have seen and used.

This pedal should last for many years of hard use. If you need a high quality expression pedal at a reasonable price this is the one to get in my view. The EV30 is a nice piece of gear and can be used with numerous different FX pedals.

I highly recommend this little gem.

For the money I can’t think of getting more out of a brand new product. They even through in a patch cable! Just ridiculous really. So let’s get past the obvious: First, they are very affordable. Second, yeah they are made out of plastic.

So are they durable? I can’t tell you how they will hold up in a gig situation but the one I bought felt very durable and I would trust it to gig with. It’s heavier than you would guess when looking at the plastic exterior.

Feels weighty and robust. The action is smooth and it looks like the unit has a sweep adjustment knob although I’ve never fiddled with that knob so who knows what it’s for? I used my unit to control a Moog ring modulator pedal and it worked out great.

One other notable thing to mention is that there is a polarity switch on the bottom which allows you to use this pedal to control a wide variety of different products. If you are looking for a no-frills expression pedal that is a bargain for the money look no further.

I purchased two of these for use with a Kemper, in the expression pedal input on the rear of the unit. I am very pleased with how they work; if you want a limited travel pedal that will stay where you leave it (i.

e. no spring return to neutral), this is an excellent choice. It worked 100% to my satisfaction right out of the box with no adjustments or changes. Even though it is made of plastic, it also appears to be plenty rugged enough for stage use, and has sufficient weight and rubber feet that keep it from sliding around.

It has very smooth and accurate operation, and the additional height did not prove to be an issue. I do not know if its stiffer feel would work well for a wah, but as a volume or mix pedal, it is perfect IMHO (the stiffer feel makes it easier to set to a particular point and get your foot off without changing the position, which is hard to do on say a Behringer FCB1010).

The price is very nice as well. I am 100% satisfied with the pedal, especially with its excellent price.

For me, this pedal works just fine. I did have concerns about it being housed in plastic, but once i got my hands on it, all that worry went away. Reasonably heavy and sturdy. Smooth action with minimal resistance but stays where you leave it in the range.

Nice angle for your foot to rest on while using it. Adjustable sweep, and works with a wide variety of devices. Not much to complain about, especially at this price. 4 stars because im sure you could damage it with a sledge hammer.

Terrible pedal. First, it can only be used with a Mustang amp. Pretty much every company on earth had no problem allowing a regular ole expression pedal to be used, but not Fender! Nope, using an Apple-esque money grab, they make it so that this pedal and this pedal only can be used.

So, you spend ninety bones that you’ll never be able to use for any other purpose ever. And if you already have an expression pedal or two? Tough luck. Now, all of that ticks me off as is, but what REALLY grinds my gears is that this piece of unversatile junk is noisy.

How can that be, you ask? Every time you use it, it introduces a digital crackly noise. No, it’s not a dirty pot as this pedal doesn’t use potentiometers. Rather, it’s a bad design. It uses some IR sensor that picks up noise when the values changes.

Think about adding a single coil pickup to your chain, and removing the shielding every time you touch the expression pedal. Yea, sucks. It’s not a defect as the same issue has existed with 2 different pedals with multiple Mustang amps in multiple buildings with multiple cables, etc.

It’s just a hunk of junk, end of story. And on top of that, every now and then the red/green led fritzes out and you have to turn the amp off and on to get it to light up. Never again will I buy any Fender modeling product because of things like this.

If you already bought a Fender Mustang III, IV, or V, then you might as well buy this pedal. Sure the price for this one pedal is like a third or a fifth the price of the actual amp, that probably says more about how inexpensive the amp is than how expensive this pedal is.

It takes some effort to get he pedal set up (minimal effort), but once you do, it has some pretty cool functions. Obviously volume is handy, but it doesn’t end there. You can control the on-board wah effect, which is a necessity if you want to use that effect.

But the cool thing is you can preset this pedal to control ANY effect. For example, you can turn the gain up and down, add or remove reverb, really anything. So it adds even more customization to your rig.

I wouldn’t say this is a necessity, but if you want to make the most of what the mustang has to offer, then you should get this pedal. You can also use the other footswitches with this pedal, so it’s not like you have to choose one or the other.

So you can have the 2 and 4 button plus the expression pedal. Fairly solid construction overall and you can dial in the useable range of motion if you’re into that sort of thing.

I went through 2 of these, both ordered new through Guitar Center. The first one was too easily engaged and would sometimes not power up if it were connected to the amp when I powered on the amp. The second one, again too easily engaged, after a few weeks I ran into the same problem where it didn’t power on occasionally.

Now I’m using a Digitech RP-500 in front for Volume and wah. The EXP-1 was a PITA, the switches on the 2 I received were never right, if you were using it for wah it was disengage back to volume no matter how light your touch is.

Fender Mustangs are great amps but honestly the 2/4 button footswitch setup sucks. The Sanpera is a great controller for the Vypyrs. if fender would come out with something like that for the Mustangs it would be great.

In fact the Mustang Floor layout would be great but design one as just a controller for the mustang,.

I was debating with myself if I should get this pedal or not. After all, it’s only an expression pedal, and there are some cheaper alternatives out there. However, if you pay just a little more, you can get a pedal made out of metal(aluminum maybe), and the reliability of Zoom.

I have used their pedals for many years, and they are simply awesome. I bought it in order to be paired with my Zoom G3. I never wanted the expression pedal built-in version, as I like to use the G3 as a desktop while the X pedal is on the floor.

Although the FP2M is made out of metal, the rack itself is made out of sturdy plastic. these can outlast the steel racks of heavies such as the CryBaby etc. Even if it broke or damaged, you can get these type of parts from Zooom America.

I have received several parts such as knobs and battery covers for free. The pedal works great with the G3 and I am quite happy with the overall quality as expected.

I have had a Zoom G2Nu for 3 years and wish I had bought this pedal earlier as it totally unlocks the effects box. The tone seems improved even without using the pedal, but it really comes into its own when you use it to control and vary the effect such as Wah, Tremolo etc.

It is also really useful as a volume pedal – you can quickly get the right volume which effects how you hear the tone. It is also great on”Drive” as you can so easily vary the gain. It is a must if you have a Zoom effects box without a pedal.

It is very well made, easy to plug in and use. I am delighted.

No issues re quality,looks etc. Looks plasticky but I think it is metal. No instructions in the box – I bought to use with H3n but minimal. Some help on internet but not complete. This is not an analog pedal just plugging it in wont work.

This is an expression pedal which operates as an effect which you add to a patch just like all the other effects. There are various types ie [Dynamics],[Filter] [Drive] etc – further along the list is one called [Pedal] THATS THE ONE YOU WANT.

Still the best. Price increased only by $10 since inflation hit the pedal market, so not too bad. Tried many others. Still my go-to pedal. Heavy, fits my foot nicely. Not to small or large. L/R in/out, plus exp jack.

Tension setting helps for fine tuning volume control. Recommend remove base plate and blow out rheostat once a year or so. Use compressed air (Office Depot/Office Max).

Great low impedance pedal. Works great for active keyboard’s higher output levels. It works much better than a couple of high impedance pedals I had tried to use in the past. It seemed the high Z pedals were close to all or nothing and hard to manage at intermediate volume.

Long throw, lots of control, adjustable drag (which I set very stiff because I don’t want it to move when I lift my foot off). VERY rugged and no concerns putting a lot of weight on it if you play standing up.

The minimum volume is a great feature so the level doesn’t vanish if you rack the pedal back too far. Two channel, so great for stereo keyboards too. I use two and place them against each other and with a little fiddling with the keyboard and amplifier volumes, I can “balance them up”, then I can work them both with one foot (some of the time).

The minimum volume pot is recessed so it is fairly well protected when put in a crate with other “stuff”. I’m sure a guitar or bass player could appreciate the tuner output jack feature. I never tried the three wire “expression pedal” feature that most newer keyboards will accept.

The keyboard may have to be programmable to accept various expression pot impedances. Off hand, I don’t know what the Boss potentiometer value is. For Korg, you set it at minimum and push a button, then full on and press another button and it ranges it in.

Nord is pick from a list of models or potentiometer values. Others. I wouldn’t know. The pedal is very heavy; downside is it’s another heavy item or two to carry and upside is it is heavy enough not to move around on the floor.

I’m very happy that between the weight and the nearly full area rubber bottom pad, it stays put. Very well made, good looking pedal that does a good job.

Though I’m sure there are other applications, I bought this pedal in order to control my keyboard volume during live shows, and it works perfectly for this purpose. First, I run my keyboards in stereo and this pedal has stereo ins and outs.

Secondly, open the pedal to the highest volume and set your keyboard volume to your loudest volume desired in the main mix. Thirdly, close the pedal to absolute minimum and then use the volume knob on the side to turn your keyboard down to the lowest volume desired in the main mix.

Now you have the volume parameters set for your show. No more cranking the pedal up too much or turning it down too low. I used it for my synth module running my B3 organ sounds for my last show and it worked perfectly.

It’s ruggedly built and ergonomically well designed. Tension on the pedal was pretty good when I received it, but it allows adjustments and I’m going to tighten it up just a bit for my taste–a great feature to have (I hate when I accidentally brush up against a volume pedal and I wind up changing the volume unintentionally).

Great pedal and I’m planning on getting more of them to run all my keyboards through. Recommend it highly!.

I was not really looking for a new wha, but when I scrolled past this one, I fell in love. It was on reserve for several weeks, finally got it, and I have played one gig with it so far. It replaced a Vox Clyde reissue that Ive used for 10 years live.

This is lighter than the vox, not as heavy duty casting, a bit smaller footprint, but does not need to be those things. ( unless maybe you use it every song for four hours), But time will tell for my application.

The sound is excellent BUT you dont get ‘diffrent’ wha sounds with this- You get it’s inherent tone and personality, with the ability to choose the range of sweep within it. At gig I started with the low setting, and the dial sweeps up the highs within that range, but does not really have a huge effect.

I found myself switching it up to mid then high, then settling on the mid setting and leaving the dial centered. This give a good rendition of the vox but WITH MORE RANGE. So far I like that. It has a switchable buffer, and switchable led underneath the treadle which will come in handy for seeing the switch positions, but you still have to bend over and look closely as they are small.

Also, during every setup, you will have to scan your settings to make sure nothing was changed during transport. I noticed small light scratches on the wood from my boots after the gig, so over time the wood will get really scratched and worn.

I taped off the wha, and sprayed several coats of clear enamel to protect wood. Time will tell, but I am not taking it off the board right now. Looks 70’s ish and kinda stands out from other stomps on the board.

Works perfectly with my signal chain with every option I want from a wah, beautiful build and design.

Great compact and versatile pedal for use as a wah/expression/volume. I’m using it as an expression and it fits my board perfect. Build quality is nice heavy metal.

Having a large foot myself, the Hotone Soul Press was like a red carpet. The pedal fits under the arch of my soul, on my shoe. The mighty pedal delivered a Wha tone of vintage style. Make sure to use expression effects to enhance OVERALL experience.

This pedal is road worthy and more than I expected.

Overall: I’ve always like Zoom products. The G1X4 is now replacing my Zoom 505. Thought I get on board with something more modern. It seems very easy to use, however, there are alot more entries to go through when editing patches.

But so far, I like the patches and sounds of this model. As far as zZounds goes. This was my first purchase from them. I have bout alot of stuff from the other guys in Indiana and New Jersey. I found zZounds through a search and liked what I saw.

In today’s world, not everyone has a few thousands laying around that doesn’t need to be anywhere. And for me staying, almost debt free is a must. Sometimes, folks need that extra month to grab the gear they want.

And with this order, I got it for 4 payments and not 3 and it was cheaper in total to boot. Also my order arrived in two days. So far I have enjoyed shopping here. I’m really looking forward to getting more gear now that I have found a site that stretches the payments out to 4, 6, 8 months.

Those little extras in life that was just out of reach for my budget is now in sight. And with that I want to thank those here at zZounds for making this possible. Not every one of us musicians are making money at gigging and having a home studio during this “Lock Down” is a must to keep from going insane.

I hope this little review helps someone. This Model, really is packed with alot of good stuff for it’s size and price. I’m amazed at how much the digital world has changed since the first introduction of my Zoom 505 in 1995 and the Zoom G1X4 now.

Man I’m getting old!.

Should actually get a refund on this. Seemed like a good product but tried to connect with Guitar Lab to add effects. I got connected, added a couple of FX but lost some factory effects that were pretty good (Comp).

Then, tried to connect again to get these back but can’t connect anymore. Tried 2 computers as well, many times. Anyway, the box is stuck with FX it has now so, not good. Poor product if you can’t get it to function properly.

Sound: It is not the same machine mostly Because in a comparison based on personal ownership of each. Why do I have both? I like Zoom and they are cost effective for my moment. They are the best option for me.

5+ years concerning the guitar [and bass] note; Listen to Lightning Fingers Simms music. The guitars used are frequently Mixed with the G-1 zoom. The old is golden. Features: Sounds are all good. Ease of Use: Older model is bet.
