I’ve seen plenty of perfume collectors and experts review Orphéon, but nobody has casually conveyed exactly what it’s like to wear. If you aren’t sure what to make of the description, think clean, think classy, think comfortable.

Orphéon isn’t the most in your face scent out there, but it sits on the pleasantly unisex line without being cheaply floral or overpoweringly male. It’s the most longwearing perfume I have ever tried, one spritz on the collar of my work polar fleece and it lasted all week.

It’s a lingering smell that people notice once you pass them or enter a room. I don’t notice that I’m wearing it once it’s on, which is comfortable and mild for myself as a migraine sufferer, but people still comment on it and ask what I’m wearing.

It’s an all year all occasions perfume that is unique to fall in love with, making it well worth the price – I only wish they made more of a range with the scent.

I usually avoid florals, they’re just not my thing. Yet, my mom just loved fragrant flowers so if they’re reminiscent of her favorites, I can be swayed. This is described as notes of Tuberose, Orange Blossom, Jasmine and Marine Accord.

Shockingly, I really like this fragrance. It smells like something my mom would’ve loved. It reminds me of lily of the valley and gardenia, yet not cloying or too sweet. Jasmine and orange blossom are flowers I enjoy, with the tuberose it’s perfectly balanced.

Not too much rose. On the dry down it lightens a bit but I don’t pick up any new notes. I can see layering it with a woodsy note to really get to my happy place, scent-wise. Maybe some cedar or sandalwood essential oil.

Any more I cannot wear anything else. The alcohol content is too high for my skin nose with other brands. I stumbled upon DIPTYQUE by accident smelling candles at Nordstrom and fell in love with Do Son.

The fragrant, natural oils used are true to its origins with very little change in scent. A little spray goes a long way for me each day – I’ve had my bottle for years. Never was a fan of tuberose until DIPTYQUE.

It’s a heavy fragrant floral that’s clean great for year round. While I own other scents, Do Son is my go to, day or night, work or play. I’m always complimented on how I smell…even the men love it. Worth every dime so long as you use sparingly and take care of where you store it: dark area away from light/sun exposure.

Creed – Aventus Cologne Review Hi everyone, I managed to get my hands on the newly released Creed Aventus Cologne and would love to share my thoughts on the new release. The fragrance was released in 2019 and is considered to be an aromatic fruity fragrance.

The nose behind the fragrance is Olivier Creed. Top notes consist of green apple, mint, ginger, mandarin, orange and pink pepper; middles note are patchouli, sandalwood and vetiver; base notes are musk, styrax, birch and tonka bean.

The packaging is what you come to expect from the house of creed and consists of a ribbed cardboard box which has in fact moved away from the general white packaging Creed uses. The bottle is essentially identical to Aventus besides the colour being grey as opposed to black.

In addition to this, the horse and man is also outlined in white. The fragrance opens with a massive hit of what smells to be a lovely mix of the mandarin, mint, apple and pineapple. That being said, you definitely don’t get any of the major pineapple blast that Aventus delivered.

The top is incredibly fresh and extremely mass appealing. I believe they altered the top to be more mass appeal as a large majority of people disliked the top that Aventus delivers. The initial top fades within 20 minutes and you start getting the birch and vetiver popping their heads through.

The birch is not overly strong but it is definitely there. It would be in the order of 10-20% of the birch strength that Aventus delivers. The heart of the fragrance lasts for around 1-2 hours and slowly moves to a smooth base of non-offensive musk.

The dry down is incredibly pleasant and still from time to time get hints of fruits. Overall, I would say that I get similar longevity out of my current formulation of Aventus and it is definitely not a performance monster.

However, this has come to be known with most of the Creed fragrances. I feel you are paying for a quality fragrance that would be perfect as an all-rounder!.

The original formulation was ground breaking absolutely and the scent is very likable considering how copied fragrance is. The magic is the birch, the darker and the darker smokier notes to this and of course the sweetness comes from pineapple, there is this fullness to it as well where it’s just perfectly blended.

If you’re into fragrances like Drakkar Noir, Black XS and Armani Code this will most likely be your next favorite fragrance as they are all a similar style. However none smell exactly the same. My issues are two from giving this a perfect rating.

Firstly it’s inconsistent. This perfumer on youtube Aaron Terrence Hughes who his full time job is being a perfumer and not a shill trying to sell us watered down EDT. He did a great review of 3 different batches this was made and was surprised with how different each bottle smelled.

Sure Polo Green (Ralph Lauren) among others have been reformulated significantly but for the price Creed goes for you’d think that they would be the source for the pineapples, the birch trees and all but no! Really what are we paying for if they can’t produce a consistent product the history, the hype? I’d say go with one of the many, many copies instead because this isn’t the longest lasting fragrance.

Al Haramain L’Adventure, Club De Nuit Intense by Armaf and all the others are my pick. If you’ve got the money though go with Creed, it’s a great fragrance so I’m not talking bad about it but I can’t stomach 400$ for something that doesn’t last 12+ hours and project like a beast.

Your journey starts off looking at the price and most likely turning away, but you shouldn’t look away so fast. This fragrance is captivating. I enjoy many colognes and parfums but this here is exquisite.

The top notes last longer than most, where most evaporate around 15 minutes I was still catching them almost 40 minutes in. Pineapple, bergamot, apple and blackcurrant gives off a great first impression.

It doesn’t dull off there. The mid mixes in with brilliance. Birch, pink berries, jasmine and a dash of patchouli keeps this fragrance alive and well. It paints a beautiful picture and delivers it straight to your sense of smell.

Every good painting starts with the base and this is no exception. With hints of vanilla, oakmoss, sandalwood, and ambergris lasting throughout. This is where your journey ends and you smelled fantastic the entire voyage.

Full transparency, I received this for free in exchange for an honest review. Looking at the note profile I would not have purchased this EDP, and even though I?d rate it very highly I?m not sure I?d repurchase it because it doesn?t fall into my general preference profile.

Instead I enjoy it as a unique fragrance in my collection that is pleasant and much smoother and easier to wear than I?d expect. The top note bergamot is barely detectable here, filtering into the background to provide a bit of depth to the scent, which generally means the wear of this EDP stays very consistent throughout.

I tend to like more complex fragrances in this respect, but that?s a personal preference issue not objective criticism. The mid notes of iris and chestnut last at least in part for the entirety of the wear time and are complimentary but potent.

The iris adds a powdery aspect that gives the chestnut a bit of a cocoa scent when coupled. I enjoy their inclusion as they soften the base notes and are very complementary to the whiskey amping up the smoothing factors.

Note the powdery iris does not take away from the stereotypically masculine side of the fragrance, it just softens the harshness. The base notes of whisky and woods are most prominent with amber barely hinted at and used similar to the bergamot to add depth.

The whisky note is very sweet and smooth and while the woods are easily discernible, they are secondary to the other notes until at least the 4+ hour mark when the iris begins to become less potent. At the 5-6 hour mark I could still smell the mid note impact, but the scent became more traditional fireplace in nature.

Ultimately I feel this scent is a bit more on the basic side and I?d say it falls well into the designer category, but they came up with a good blend that will have mass appeal. Certainly a winter masculine blend, it?s softness gives it a level of sophistication.

The EDP lasts over 8 hours and is reasonably powerful so you can use it sparingly.

I’ve been a fan of this line of flankers for a long time now. These past two releases this year have been great additions to the line. This is my first impressions upon first smell on my wrist. -I get a blast of bergamot then a slightly boozy note of whiskey but not overpowering, just kinda lingers in the background. Middle Notes: Iris, Chestnut, Benzoin. – you get this creamy iris with a nutty tone from the chestnut and the benzoin makes it a little primal or a touch animalic.

Bottom Notes: Cedarwood, Vetiver. – you get the smokey woods like roasting of chestnuts with whiskey on the rocks, hints at the bottle. I immediately ran to my collection and picked out two fragrances that have a similar smell Stronger with you absolutely and Replica’s by the Fireplace, but this is a more toned down version that you wear dressed up or with nice dinner jacket and cigar.

This will definitely get you compliments in the winter and fall. I’d shy away from this in the spring and summer could be too cloying. All in all very pleasant scent and alluring. I’m happy with my purchase and I wanted to share my thoughts with you on it.

It may be the name, but Gentleman smells like a Bond film: a little boozy, a bit dark, but with an underlying fresh vitality (I’m in love with bergamot and vetiver), all smoothed over into a cohesive blend.

I like the masculinity, yet very mysterious and sexy at the same time.

These fragrances gives me a lot of great compliments. I love getting attention and when I’m wearing these fragrances, I feel very mature, confident, and of course very sexy in a good way. These fragrances are very closed to the real ones! And of course they are super affordable and still give you a few hours of great scents and compliments.

These fragrances are the real deal. I believe that the smell of ALT’s fragrances stay with you longer throughout the day. I bought the Starter pack. When I used one bottle my wife asked why I was using the most expensive cologne she bought me all the time, because I only use the expensive ones sparingly.

She did not know it was not the high priced cologne she bought. My cologne game has changed, I use these fragrances every day.

The Executive is my standout, with Crystal being a solid second. Immediately I was not as attracted to the thought of Crystal on me, it’s a scent pallet I usually don’t go for; however, when mixed with either other scent I very much like the combinations.

Farouche comes in third, but it’s growing on me and does mix well with Crystal. All in all a lot of good smell as my first Alt Fragrances purchase, with 3 more in my cart as I write this (Santal Parfum, Novel, and Brick).

Artisan Pure by @johnvarvatos is a Citrus fragrance for men. Artisan Pure was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Rodrigo Flores-Roux. Top notes are Clementine, Mandarin Orange, Lemon, Bergamot, Thyme and Marjoram; middle notes are Petitgrain and Ginger; base notes are Woody Notes, Musk, Orris Root and Amber,according to Fragrantica.

Nothing groundbreaking or unique here. It reminds me of a lot of other scents, since it clearly takes inspiration from some classic EdCs like 4711, Neroli Portofino by TF and list could go on. It opens as a predominantly mandarin and lemon scent with woody notes.

I get some neroli too but strangely it isn’t listed in the notes. There is no sharpness from the citrus, even at the top, as it is immediately rounded off by what I think must be the orris root, lending it a powdery earthiness.

It continues along the same citrus-focused lines established in the original Artisan, but loses the soft soapiness of the original artisan, and trades the soft orange for a much sharper and brighter up-front clementine.

I’m not familiar with marjoram but I’m thinking that comes in soon after with a barely-noticeable cooling camphorous effect. It dries down rather fast into something resembling a pleasant, high end, powdery soap with the mandarin note lasting along with it, while most of the other notes fade.

This is easily the best citrus based Varvatos, smells natural, no aquatic note, and none of that “popular male cologne” vibe, instead very unisex and genuine. Can be worn for any occasion, though I see this as a scent that will shine for work, or formal events.

As for season, this is definitely a spring and summer scent. Performance is great I’m getting 6-7h in terms of longevity and projection is good in the first 2h and then sits close to the skin but very noticeably for those around you.

Overall a great summer fragrance that don’t break the bank!.

One of the most magical openings of a fresh citrus scent ever, for me its niche quality. Yes, its synthetic but smells natural – a high quality blend, masterfully done. Don’t know Xalapa but do know Amalfi Coast and Italian citrus groves and this is what this makes me smell and feel like – citrusy, clementine, ginger heaven with a masculine woody dry down finish.

Fantastic alternative to the popular sweet/blue boy summer scents. Highly versatile, I wear it to the office occasionally but it’s best in the sun (weekend/outdoor, beach etc). Longevity ab. 6 hrs, 3 hrs projection but gives a nice sillage bubble and pleasant whiffs.

Different, unique and definitely one of my favourite fresh scents along EN Sport, Dunhill Icon/Century and Mercedes Benz Silver. Worth consideration – for me it’ll always be part of my freshies rotation; it’s a feel good Scent!.

I had a gift box that had a 1 oz bottle of Artisan. I used it the other day. I was at Hobby Lobby looking at art pencils. A lady was walking in the aisle and made the comment, “Oh my God, you smell good.

” When a complete stranger makes a compliment. You definitely need to have this fragrance. It does smell pleasant and you don’t need to apply so much. I definitely would wear this everyday. You could wear this in an office setting.

Where it is professional casual.

This fragrance is brilliant and I know I’m gonna ruffle some feathers by saying that. Hear me out: I fall under a small minority that, while I feel the Sauvage DNA is great, it can be both cloying and redundant considering it’s a very easy option for pretty much any man to wear anytime.

The EDT is exceptionally loud, and I found it to shout way too loud for me to wear. Projection and silage is great but it is very easy to overspray. Longevity is increased further and the scent itself is toned down slightly in the EDP version.

Then came the Parfum – I feel like this can be called Sauvage for Adults. It’s got this whiff of maturity to it, kind of like Sauvage went on a voyage around the world and came back a well seasoned traveler.

Definitely a great option for someone who enjoys the DNA but doesn’t want to be considered an early 20’s clubguy. It’s also a great option for people (like me) who really don’t enjoy Elixir, but would be ok with a happy medium between it and the EDP.

This truly is a year round scent and goes extremely well with office wear and jackets/sweater weather in the fall/early winter. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to opt for the large 200ml bottle. I do not regret my purchase at all and hope they retain this version in their lineup for a while.

I’d definitely purchase this one again, and highly recommend it for people who used fragrances like Carbon (from Prada’s Luna Rossa lineup) due to wanting a toned down Sauvage DNA while still remaining true to the scent.

Longevity is subject to your skin type but I recommend applying after a shower for maximum exposure/results. I get an easy 8hrs with my bottle but the scent bubble gets smaller after about 4hrs in. I know it’s still there because people have complimented me a good 6hrs after application.

This is Great. Attention grabbing, Long lasting, Sexy, loud seductive fragrance. Wear it for clubs, date and close encounters and they will just fall in love with you. This is for fresh and cold weather for sure.

This stuff is amazing.

So to the review title, when I smelled this for the first time I honestly felt like I had just found my sense of smell for the first time. I cannot stand the other Sauvage versions but Elixir changed the game.

It’s worth every penny because I immediately felt like this was what Daniel Craig was wearing filming No Time To Die, or what Elon sprays on before hopping into his Tesla or Helo and heading to watch Starship make a test flight.

It’s commanding but not overpowering, it’s complex but not boujee, it’s manly yet has a slightly sweet anise note, it is to me perfection in a bottle. My only complaints are that it isn’t yet available in a larger bottle and thus will probably be discontinued, and as powerful as it is its sillage is medium if I had to put a scale on it.

It also projects but not too far, only leaves a slight trail. But again maybe that’s the magic of it. The type of man wearing this ALREADY HAS the attention of people when he walks into a room! It’s not for young immature clubbers that fist pump and reminisce of Jersey Shore (you people can stay with Paco Rabanne).

This is for men (or honestly I could see a very powerful beautiful woman pulling it off with passion on her mind) who have their 5h1t together, want to win, want to take on the impossible, but also have the wisdom to realize real alphas EMPOWER and inspire people, and don’t thrive on power or seek it.

Bought this as a XMas gift for my daughter-in-law and it’s really nice. I wish the font was nicer but overall it’s very nice.

it is not made big enough for credit cards or a drivers license. Money barely fits in the slot. it is a tug of war to get credit cards or a license out. After using it daily it has not stretched out.

It does not open out all of the way, so I cut the lining so that it now opens almost flat. I expect a designer would cater to these details. The zipper is of good quality. I was tempted to buy the matching purse with chains as part of the handles, but saw someone with the goldtone one, and the goldtone had worn off one of the chains.

No thanks, my cheap no name brand stuff is made better than Kors! I have used it and would not return it, but no, I would not recommend it other than saying it is sturdy and wont fall apart.

This is my first platinum finish Montblanc pen. Compared to some of the more expensive Montblanc models, such as the Homage to Homer pen that I use nearly everyday, this platinum version of the Meisterstruk LeGrand, with its understated elegance, is an homage to all Meisterstruck pens, which have long since been the standard by which all other writing instruments are measured.

This is a wonderful pen.

Montblanc Pens require Montblanc cartridges. When this pen arrived it did not work. Checked the cartridge and it was a filler from Indonesia. Now I am not certain that this pen is truly a Montblanc. Having owned several, I think it is.

but a non- functioning off brand ball point cartridge from Indonesia does not inspire confidence.

Excellent balance and writing precision. The Montblanc 161 is a great pen for those who love the Montblanc product line. It truly defines the professional for quality and style that you can be proud of.

Omg I LOVE this! It’s a citrusy woody musk fragrance which is exactly what I like. I’m not a floral person when it comes to perfumes. I usually wear this in the summer but, it can be worn for any season.

It’s amazing. Honestly, a worthy signature scent. This perfume is guaranteed not to offend anyone around you. It’s light, soft and fresh. The notes are blended together nicely and exudes elegance and sophistication.

The only con is that I don’t feel like it stayed on for as long as I would have liked. So in my opinion the only thing I would improve on this product is the longevity. Other than that, a very attractive scent! For reference: Top notes are Pink Pepper, Mandarin Orange, Cardamom and Bergamot; middle notes are Tea, iris and Bellflower; base notes are White Musk, Vetiver and Cedar.

This is a great fragrance for every one need. Ralph club is not too sweet but has not too fresh or heavy it has the right balance for wearing at work to go out casually or to wear out in evening. It is not the most unique but it is pleasant and very wearable the lavender smells very different in this as well.

The bottle is really nice and slick looking as well.

Cologne does not last long you have to spray it more than once. I am not sure what changed but the colognes are not the same thing they don’t last as long and if I’m paying over $130 I expect to last more than eight hours.

I will not be purchasing any more colognes from Dillards and I will not be recommending anyone to Dillards.
