The packaging of the toy is really cute and easy to open to get your toy out. The fur of the animal is really soft, but could some padding. You can feel all the mechanics under the fur. There’s one button you press to activate the toy and it sticks out its tongue and is meant to recreate an animal eating out of your hand.

It’s not easy to get the magnet to grab the food and you end up sort of throwing it at the tongue when it comes out. The tongue doesn’t come out far enough to grab the food. It also moves pretty fast and you end up pressing the button several times to get it to eat all 5 pieces of food.

I think the eyes should also light up, that’d be a cool addition. Overall, it’s cute, but doesn’t perform.

All the sounds it makes are in a pleasant volume and have a pleasant sound. We can feed him and even poop lol. He love to play with it and he has to go everywhere. Wonderful features. Good workmanship the mechanics works everything.

Overall the cheetah is very well made. So pleased with what it does and quality. Would have been nice to have batteries included. Highly recommended.

I bought this enclosure, because it shows on the product photo a silver lock that gets screwed into place. The actual product comes with a black piece of metal (not lock) that is just stuck on my double sided tape.

I just don’t feel like this is very secure. I’m still using it because I needed an enclosure for my fire skink immediately and everything else is GREAT. Easy to put together and sturdy for the most part.

I’m just upset that Chewy doesn’t put a more accurate photo on the website to show the new lock style. Otherwise still good enclosure and a lot of space.

I had reservations immediately after I ordered this, and even attempted to cancel the order. I’m glad that I wasn’t successful! My husband put it together in less than 15 minutes, I cleaned it and our juvenile Diamond Jungle Jag CP was in it and exploring within the hour.

He will live in it until his custom semi arboreal set up finally arrives (ridiculous lead time) and then my corn snake(s) will live in it. I bought this for my mother who is near blind and has dementia. She loves it and I love that she has a companion when I can’t be there. It’s good that it has a mute button which stops the cat from “Meow-ing” if she knocks it in her sleep and it doesn’t annoy her neighbours.

The purring still works while on mute. The only problem I have with it is that the robotics are a bit loud but that doesn’t seem to bother mum – which is the main thing.

The children love the animals all of them. The size is perfect. A provider came to my home day care to borrow some domestic and farm animals to go along with her lesson plan. i told her to go in my environment and pick out what she needed to borrow.

She was amazed at the animals i had for my children, i told her Kaplan has been my supplier for many years. She said my children don’t have toys like this, i said it’s because you don’t buy them. I told her the child in me helps supply my children with all of their educational toys,they have everything they need to work with all because of kaplan.

Everything they supply is good, the children and i love kaplan. They gave me a little credit I try to pay them on time because they are good. I do appreciate everything you all do for people.

Very nice interactive toy that my daughter received on her 8th birthday. It dances, neighs, and move. Nice sturdy body of the unicorn and super soft cute mane. Came with the hairbrush and donut food for extra fun.

When I was first reviewing things I bought from Exotic Nutrition, I saw someone posted saying that they wouldn’t buy them because they came from China. I bought the herbivore sticks and my chinchillas rush up to chew on them at the same time!!!! I first started buying Vitakraft sticks in Europe.

They made parsley covered sticks that my chinchilla loved. I then followed up with the baked sticks. But my chins have never been as enthusiastic as they are now are about the herbivore sticks!!! Compare what the the Vitakraft sticks and the Herbivore sticks contain and you will see (I think) a superior product in the Herbivore.

This cat was the one thing my almost 6 year old daughter has been asking for for her birthday. I got it and opened to make sure it worked and had a battery so when she opened it it would work. I was happy to see it came with its own battery.

It also had a little bed and brush she will enjoy. The part I think is a design flaw is that it does not have an on off button or switch. It says it’s designed this way to make it more realistic, but I think they could have easily added one on the bottom and it would not have affected the “realness.

” The problem with not having an on off switch is that it just stays on, breathing, until the battery dies. The life of that I don’t know yet since we just got it. It also doesn’t sound very much like a purr, more like a soft motor sound pulling in and out the air that fills the belly.

All in all it’s cute and it’s what she asked for but I think it should have the on off switch and it’s a bit overpriced for what it is.

I purchased this for my elderly mother who lives alone. She has always had animals but could not look after one now. I looked at various animals and made the sad decision that any animal would be too much for her.

As she is displaying early dementia I decided to look for products that could help her to relax. This dog has had an impact, she strokes it and says it is a comfort. The “heartbeat” is very realistic and fooled my sister when she visited her.

All in all a very good product, it’s a bit weighty at the bottom which does detract from the overall feel. It will never replace a real pet but it did have a positive effect on my mum.

I purchased the beagle for my mother in law who has very late stage Alzheimer’s. My children (4 and 6) initially looked after the puppy before handing him over to their Grandma. They absolutely loved him and even though they knew he wasn’t real they still treated him as a real puppy.

The snoring sounds are adorable and the visible way in which the puppy’s back moves as it takes a breath is very realistic. It also looks like a true representation of a beagle. I was expecting it to be a bit more floppy but it is rigid in its sleeping position.

My mother in law enjoyed having him on my lap and I hope she will get some enjoyment from him. A lovely gift.

Super educational item. I use the safari ltd Toobs for homeschooling my preschooler. We have used them in sensory bins, science projects and they make a great physical replica of human organs to go with each lesson about human anatomy.

I love Toobs because they can be wet, go in any sensory material and still keep their quality! We have 3 different ones, and I just ordered 6 more plus minis for various homeschool lessons!.

Our 3 year old is obsessed with anteaters so we HAD to have this set of animals. It also has a few other rare animals (tapir, macaw, poison frog) that you don’t normally see in play animal sets so I was glad to add this to his huge collection.

We have other sets from this brand and as always they are very life-like and accurate in appearance. I appreciate that I can use coupons to get these even cheaper which is often a better deal than buying direct through Safari Ltd or another supplier.

My mom is 91 and has always had a pet in her life. She is unable to properly care for a real animal and this is the next best thing. She loves it. It interacts with her and comforts her. My dog is completely freaked out by it because it will meow as she walks by.

I got this cat for my cat obsessed 5 year old daughter. It’s perfect. It’s very life like, moreso than any other “toy” cats she’s gotten. It’s also easy to change to silent and off. We are very happy with this cat.

I will say, I wouldn’t buy it for a child under 5.

Shipping was poor. Told it would arrive on one date and found it on door step several days before that date. It had sat on door step for two days before it was discovered. Discovered on Saturday and I get an email the following Monday telling me the package was delivered on the previous Thursday morning.

It sat out in a rain and freezing temperatures. Just happy that expensive merchandise had not been stolen from doorstep or damaged from the weather.

I have a 6 year old daughter. When said daughter was 5, we rescued a trio of sick turkey poults. They were so rough that one didn’t even make it home, and the other passed that night. The sole surviving turkey was my 6 year old’s, who she had promptly named Busy Bee.

Busy Bee grew fast. He grew as tall as my daughter, and the were inseparable– she’d squat in the backyard, arm over his back like a human friend, and just jabber away to him. While we have chickens, the neighbors were not excited about Busy Bee singing the song of his particular people.

So we found a farm sanctuary, and we get occasional updates about him, happily living his life there. But my 6 year old, she has been devastated. So when she saw this weird turkey toy, her eyes welled up, and she informed me that she would like it.

Couldn’t say no obviously, so we brought it home. This dang turkey goes in the bath, to bed, in her backpack, EVERYWHERE, and a month in it’s still holding up. I would never have imagined myself being grateful to a toy company for making a flipping turkey, but here we are.

Parenthood is wild. But this turkey is legit. Super realistic, doesn’t make the neighbors mad, and comforts an odd 6 year old.

Odd to not see the sinewy muscled limbs from other representations but it is a much welcomed change of form, and gone are the dangling arms ubiquitously present amongst all the figures of dromaeosauridae.

The details are subdued, with the tuberculate scales limited to the feet and face, and a first for any “raptor” is the presence of lips in keeping with the latest scientific research. The sculpted feathers are well done, especially on the primary-secondary wing feathers and the tail.

I do like the taloned fingers on the wings just visible under the wings. The pose can also be described as statuesque, evoking the virtues we bestow upon birds of prey. Power, speed, grace, even nobility.

The figure is frozen in step, head turned left, muzzle raised upward which I interpreted as testing the air for scent. The wings tucked tightly against the body. The tail is sculpted down providing support making the figure a classic tripod yet, it works in tandem as a whole.

Think of an actress’s long flowing gown on a red carpet event. Stately, and grateful. The colours again draws inspiration from modern raptors resembling a Hawk, chocolate and cinnamon browns with white markings.

Yellow for the face and feet and a crimson eye completes the pallet. Again, drawn from modern nature, spectacularly subdued. This figure boasts a look consistent with scientific research, and modern aesthetics.

Deinonychus is a prime figure for the dinosaur renaissance, beautifully sculpted, expertly painted, and highly collectible.

Safari Ltd adds Uintatherium to their prehistoric lineup for 2018. This early ungulate that lived during the Eocene was discovered in 1871 by O. C. Marsh in the Uinta Mountains in what is now Utah and may have been the largest mammal in the Americas during that time.

Although somewhat resembling a rhinoceros, Uintatherium anseps was not related to any rhino, being from the extinct order Dinocerata that flourished from the late Paleocene until the Miocene. The sculpt resembles classic paleoart.

The figure is represented without a fur covering opting for a wrinkled hide, from deep lines along the flanks to delicate ones on the face they crisscross the entire figure up to the tail which ends in a tuft of hair.

The details on the head include the distinctive horns, mandible flanges, and long recurved canine tusks. The pose is quite neutral, head high turned slightly to the right, mouth closed, with the left fore paw raised just ever so.

Not dramatic but natural, organic just as nature should be. The colours are consistent with modern large herbivores, pale grey with a light taupe markings. Slate grey hooves, and black for the tail tuft round out the limited hues.

Again, plausible for large grazers that persist to this day. Previous figures have been made in the 60’s and 70’s by Starlux and Ja-Ru but, forty years or so have passed since Uintatherium was released as a figure despite it being an iconic creature from the early Cenozoic and included in so many murals and classic paintings there are woefully few representations available to the collector.

Thankfully now, Uintatherium has been released by GeoWorld, Playvisions, CollectA, and now Safari Ltd. which is recommended for collectors and enthusiasts of prehistoric fauna.

My ninjas (sugar gliders) love this. The platform is installed at the front of their congo cage and they wait on it every morning for treats. Nice size so they both have room to stand. I end up replacing about 2x year due to urine smell.

Bought this puppy for my daughter and it’s absolutely incredible. The packaging is so pretty then you pull the present tag and the puppy unboxes itself. My daughter was watching in amazement, as was I.

Until the puppy claw it’s way out you don’t know which puppy you are going to get so the element of surprise for a child was so exciting. The puppy is so soft and very clever. When you rub it’s belly it make cute little noises and there are a few interactive games you can play with it.

The puppies noises and actions seem endless and I still don’t think we’ve seen them all yet. I can see this becoming a Christmas top toy and highly recommend it to any boy or girl that likes their interactive animals.

I would say this is the best robotic/interactive toy on the market to date.

Was really impressed with the outside look of the box, a lovely present all ready to give to a child. I wasn’t sure of the concept of the dog ‘breaking’ out of the box but suprisingly it did work and my daughter was so excited to see it.

The noises start first so she was ready to explode herself when it came out to meet her. She loves anything cuddily and the fact this was noisy was even better for her (maybe a bit loud and annoying for parents but kept her happy).

She wasn’t bothered which of the dogs she got which was good but only having 2 to choose from as opposed to other toys that have hundreds was good, as less chance of disappointment! I left the instructions to my older daughter as I didn’t have a clue how to get the dog interactive and she figured it out quickly so they are both now playing with our new ‘puppy’ and couldn’t be happier.

We recently inherited two sugar gliders and one of them can be bought with treats. Paris dove right into the yogurt pod and Gidget was not far behind. We also purchased the mango and the pineapple flavors.

They like the pineapple but LOVE the mango. If you don’t watch them, they will steal the entire gel and pull it back into their cage. – Crow H.

I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my daughter, but decided to open the box and look at it first. I’m glad I did. When I opened the box I saw that it had broken in 4 pieces during shipping.

After looking at it more closely, I can see that the breaks mainly occurred at the outlines of the skulls. The plastic in those areas is very thin and brittle. If you were to buy this in the store it may be ok.

But I wouldn’t expect it to hold up well during shipping.

This skull cave is really cool looking. Had to file down some sharp edges though. My male and female neon jewel cichlids love it ! The only thing about this product is that it’s not molded in color. I had it for about a month and already noticed some gray areas where the color has come off.

For me I don’t mind as long it doesn’t kill my fish. The algae that’s growing on it makes it look more interesting. It’s pretty lightweight but it doesn’t want to float , it sits firmly on the gravel.

I would only recommend this to someone who isn’t concerned about the color coming off. Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase.

I am familiar with this brand due to small animals such as rats, ferrets, a european starling – and I will admit myself a bit of a dog snob when it comes to what I want to feed my crew. In seeing the ingredients list, I would have NEVER willingly picked this to feed to my dogs.

However, I decided to give it a try in knowing how balanced it had been for my other critters. The price is fantastic of course as I otherwise would be spending more for premium brands to cater to my working dogs.

I am only a month in on this stuff and feeding a house of 6 dogs – so far so good! No complaints about stool size, frequency, or consistency – all good things there. My dogs’ coats are shiny like it had been on the expensive foods I have given them.

I am not noticing any weight issues on anyone in my crew yet – be it weight gain or weight loss and I keep my dogs well conditioned, so that is important for me especially as some of my malinois have a harder time holding their weight at times.

It seems like a good status quo food so far for dogs. I would certainly change my review if something wild comes up with using this food, but for now it’s got the thumbs up from me.

My guy is hard to keep weight on. And he can be a bit picky on food. He loves and does better on food with pork in it and this stuff does. I figured out how many grams in a lb and then how many cups were in a lb to get the calories per cup.

Has a higher caloric count so works well for my guy. Says right on the bag they tested it in breeding facilities as well as zoos and universities. So should not negatively impact his fertility as some foods can do.

He was digging through when I transitioned him to this food to seek the NEW stuff over his old food. He likes it!!!.
