Installed it on my 08 Suburban 5. 3. Sound is nice and deep but not much louder than stock when idling. When accelerating you do definitely hear it’s not stock anymore. Not head turning loud but great sound.

Just about perfect for a daily. Did however install the 5” gibson tips and not the ones that came with the kit. Fit and finish absolutely on point! Instructions absolutely garbage.

Everything fit as it should. If you are wanting extremely aggressive sound then this is not for you. It is extremely mild when cruising, but when you step on it there is a nice medium aggressive tone.

I had to redo a botched true exhaust install. Ran this with pacesetter slip on headers and the pacesetter y pipe to follow the original exhaust channel. Definitely good clearance compared to what was on my 97’ trans am.

Great adjustability on the kit and exhaust pipes.

This cat-back system DOES NOT WORK on Camaros and Firebirds with dual cat exhaust. These models have a slip fit and clamp connection to the intermediate pipe. This system has a flange connection used on earlier single cat models.

I purchased one of these systems several years ago and had to return it because it didn’t fit my 97 Z28 Camaro. I contacted customer service to inform them of the problem and the response was “I’m not aware of that”.

I asked if they had a pipe with the proper connection and was told “we don’t have that”. This was a few years ago and I’m surprised that the manufacturer still hasn’t corrected their mistake. So save yourself the trouble of ordering and returning this system and go with MagnaFlow.

I recently installed a Moser 9-inch Rear End under my 1997 Z-28 Camaro with BMR Torque Arm System, Loop, Control Arms, Panhard Bar, etc. Called Magna Flow to see if this kit 15620 which I had with the stock rear end would fit with the new Moser Unit and they did not have any technical information that could help or assist me in reinstalling back on the car.

They referred me to seek a local muffler shop to do the install. I decided to reinstall the system myself and make any modifications necessary to reinstall the system. Well to my surprise I put the system back on the car from the Y Pipe back and it all fit just like before.

So it does fit. No modification required. Even Moser Engineering did not have adequate details for the 9- inch install. But I installed it all by myself with little or no assistance. Only issue I had with the Exhaust System is that it rusts pretty badly over 8 years.

I had a lot of rust removal to do on the pipes, muffler, and tailpipes.

Absolutely incredible exhaust. I cannot overstate how much better it makes the Ninja 400 sound. I bought my 400 used with an LV-10 already on it, and when my wife got her 400 with a stock exhaust I’m not even kidding literally right after we turned it on she said “We’re buying your exhaust for this, TODAY.

” And, what’s awesome as well is it’s not obnoxiously loud. It just makes it sound throatier, deeper, and raises the volume just enough to put a smile on your face while you ride. Also makes it easier for cars to hear you.

We couldn’t hear the 400 next to our car with the stock exhaust but it’s just loud enough that a car can hear you coming up next to them. 10/10 would recommend.

I have to say. I was VERY hesitant about this at first. Most slip on exhausts are EASILY double the price of this one and for that reason i associated the price tag with the quality of the item. I took a chance with this thinking i would just return it if it wound up being junk but i love it.

It’s nice and small and gives the bike a more aggressive look. The exhaust note is also much deeper when idling and als much more aggressive sounding than the stock option, while running through the gears.

The finish of the product is great, welds on it look good. installation was effortless. It literally took me about 4 1/2 minutes to get this on, lined up and tightened down. It was harder, and took more time, for me to get the stock exhaust off than it did to get the new one done.

That’s coming from someone who has ZERO mechanical prowess lol. The hardest part about getting this installed was connecting a spring that adda tenstion and holds the exhaust and mid pipe together tighter(i suppose it may be a fail-safe) only because i didn’t have any kind of tool or needle nose pliers to get a good grip on it.

I added some pictures below but i need to get a better profile shot of the new exhaust so you can get a better idea of how it looks. Even from a practical standpoint, it’s a good buy. Itremoves the bulk from the stock exhaust which, in my case at least, eliminates the back of my right heal resting on a hot exhaust while my foot is on the peg in what should be a normal position.

Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a better look. exhaust note. or maybe anyone justw anting their bike to be a little louder without spending $500+ dollars, without sacrificing quality.

2016. 5 Dyna Low Rider S The Vance & Hines Short Shots made my low rider s look and sound the way this bike should have come from the factory. The installation directions were a little vague and more pics would have been nice.

The O2 sensors, especially the back, were a bear because although the instructions say to unplug and remove the harness for disassembly/reassembly, it really is not possible on the S model as the harness is fished through in a tight place and the sensor is too big to fish out without removing the complete battery/box assembly.

Not the biggest deal. I removed and reinstalled the sensor with it still fished through the frame. Great sound! Exactly what I was looking for. The FP3 tuned the bike with preprogrammed maps for this model/pipe combination in 5 minutes and I was done in about two hours.

An extra pair of hands would be helpful. The gaskets that came with the kit looked hokey and did not match the shape of my originals. I had a few miles over 500 so I left the originals after careful inspection and the pipes sealed without leaks just fine.

Everyone likes mufflers that “TALK” but after 58 years riding it was time mellow down a bit. I just returned from a 4600 mile rd. trip with my new Rineharts & it was awesome. They have a really good tone , not wimpy, but not you”ll get noticed.

Sometimes there’s to much”TALKING”. Only thing I didn’t like was the WHITE lettering on the chrome end caps.

I just purchased my first Harley this year. The factory pipes are a bit on the tame side, so I have been shopping around for the past couple of months. It is a little difficult to capture the true sound of a motorcycle on video, so a lot of my choice was based on written reviews on many different sites.

Vance and Hines is new to me, so I started with an open mind. Installation was a breeze. This is my first time installing slip-ons, and it took about 20 minutes total. I wore rubber gloves to keep the oil from my skin off of them, so cleanup was minimal.

I fell in love with these mufflers the instant I started my Road Glide Ultra. They have a nice sound at an idle, and have a decent rumble while riding without being obnoxious. They get considerably louder when the throttle is opened up, but still not obnoxious.

I just bought a 2013 Fat Boy, and I will be purchasing Vance and Hines for it – no shopping around required.

Looked on line and found a system for $315. Read the reviews and it had three problems. Wrong bolts for ball and socket, interfered with wiring and hoses at rear end and crummy instructions. I decide I would get a name brand system and avoid problems.

I decided on Gibson because it said no modifications with their system. Guess what, exact same problems as the Amazon system. Makes me think the same people made both systems but the Amazon system was $150 cheaper.

That being said, it took me about 3. 5 hours to install. Made the necessary changes and completed the install. Results. Sounds and looks great. The system is quiet on the hi way and when you accelerate it has a great mellow sound.

It’s a good system but with a little more effort could be excellent!.

Great price and fast shipping from JEGS! I put this exhaust on my 2018 F150 3. 5L V6 Supercrew. It was significantly louder than I expected – even after upgrading the clamps to lap-joint band clamps and torquing them to spec.

I ended up buying a vibrant ultra-quiet resonator ($90) and installed that before the muffler. Now it sounds awesome. Mine may have been louder because I have an S&B CAI installed and there is a lot more airflow through the system now.

The performance difference exceeded my expectations – it’s very noticeable.

The kit fits perfectly and hides better than stock on the passenger side. I enjoy the deep tones since the install and it’s not loud but nicely noticeable.

Awesome set of pipes. Hardest part was getting to the bolts but overall very easy; I’ve never worked on bikes before I installed these. I put the quiet baffles in and it keeps it from being too loud while still sounding 100x better than stock.

Just be sure to intall the baffles before you put them on the bike (that mistake was a pain in the a$$). Noticeably faster. I tuned her with a Fuelpak but haven’t replaced the stock air filter yet. Lots of popping upon downshifting but I’m hoping a new air filter and tuning it a bit better will help.

Downside is on my 2018 fat bob the pipes cover the stock passenger peg mounting hole. I moved it down to the hole that the stock exhaust bracket was mounted to but it’s a bit lower than the right and if I flip it up it the rubber rests on the pipe.

I’ll find a better solution down the road. Bottom line: easy install, looks great, bat outta hell. Get it.

I receive my exhaust in about four business days. The packaging was well done and boxed well. All the hardware was included with instructions and it was a easy install. I have the old ones off and the new ones on in less than an hour.

Got TAB Performance B. A. M. Sticks withZombie Baffles and my wife hated their sound. She didn?t even want to ride. Swapped out for these with the performance baffles and she thanked me. Can?t speak to the regular baffles but the hi flows on these mufflers sound great.

Deep tone and loud enough that I don?t feel let down. Combine with Rinehart Slimlines for a really kick ass look and sound.

This exhaust looks, fits good and sounds very nice. After couple or months riding with this exhaust I switched my stock baffles for quite baffles. Quite baffles made it sound deeper with more bass and rumble and removed the harsh/pith noise.

Also it made it a little bit quieter mostly because harsh noise was gone. My friend has same big as mine with v&h big radius on stock baffles and his bike sounds louder and harsher then mine, i typo too loud for some cold starts in the morning so I highly recommend also getting quite baffles.

2018 iron 883 with passenger pegs, it will perfect with mid controls, forwards and passenger pegs. P. S big radius always scrapes in turns while short shots don’t scrape at all. My friend has a hole in his lower piper already.
