20 Best Exfoliator For Spray Tan (2023 Updated)

I have another exfoliating glove that I’ve had for a while that didn’t do much. I’ve been debating on getting another, researching different ones. Chose this one and so glad I did! I lathered on tanner for a whole week straight because I was going on vacation.

Come back & quit putting it on so over a few days, I noticed it fading on spots & a few more days, it was getting very blotchy on my legs. Looked terrible. This mit came just in time! This got every bit of tanner off the first night.

With my other glove it took a couple nights of scrubbing. So happy with this purchase!.

If you’re looking for an awesome exfoliating glove look no further! The glove that came with my self tanner ripped and I wasn’t prepared to pay $30 for a new one from the Loving Tan website. I found this one and for the price it was worth trying.

Not only was it super cheap it’s even better than the glove I had. I don’t use it to remove self tanner I use it to exfoliate and it’s amazing, I don’t even use a sugar scrub I just used my body wash.

I wish I could give it even more than 5 stars!.

Wow! This little mitt is amazing! I have very rough and scaly skin on my firearms. I have used this mitt twice (vigorous scrubbing), and my arms look so much better! I intend to use this with each shower.

I am sure my skin will be in great shape in a few weeks. I must use self-tanner, so this mitt will be of great benefit to me.

I’m 20 years old and all my life I have suffered from mild psoriasis and always had dead skin build up in patches in my body. I saw and bought this product less than two weeks ago to give it a try and in three uses itself I can see a huge difference! Definitely recommend this amazing product.

I know it says that it’s only for normal to oily skin. but I have really, really dry skin and it works just fine for me. You only have to use a small amount and I’ve found that two wooden spoonfuls are enough for my whole body, so it’s cost effective as well.

The smell of this product is amazing. I’ve used it alongside the scrub mitt in the shower which makes the application so much easier and leaves the skin smelling and feeling soft and clean. Will definitely get again.

I gave it four out of five stars only because I thought the consistency would feel more than just sand in a bag. However it smells amazing and it really exfoliates the skin. I haven’t used it before a self tan yet.

Absolutely love this. It’s coarse so really gives your skin that clean feeling. Great for using to have a perfect tan. I found its also good for getting rid of those bumps on my legs too. Highly recommended.

This exfoliating mit makes my skin look and feel soft and light after just one light rub over my body. It’s totally amazing and I have never had a mit do that for me ever before. I have used plenty of mitts in the past but none of them have even come close to giving the same results as the beautiful Bondi Sands mit.

I love this Bondi Sands Coconut & Sea Salt Body Scrub! It is a great way to exfoliate my skin and gives it that radiant glow! I have noticed after just 1 use how much softer and smoother my skin is! The scent is amazing! It turns my shower into a private and pampering coconut filled fragrance! It’s gentle enough to use whenever you want! I definitely recommend this as an ideal addition to your beauty routine!.

I only purchased this because it was $3. 99 at my local Walgreens, but it could be free and I’d never use it again. Packaging follows a cute aesthetic, but practicality? Don’t know her. This would maybe be idea for travel, but a bag in the shower? Absolutely not.

I see where they were going with it, but definitely missed the mark on packaging. My next issue is the harsh abrasive ingredients. Walnut shell powder? It’s 2021 ladies, we are not scrubbing walnut shell powder (known to cause micro tears) on our skin.

In addition, my skin HATED this- I had the most intense burning sensation after rinsing it off. Lastly, for $16. 00 reg price, the alleged 8. 8 ounces of product is crap.

I got this scrub because I had seen it all over Social Media so as soon as it launched in the UK I got it. I was super excited because I love coconut and this scrub has a nice but not overpowering scent and it comes in the cutest packaging.

I used the scrub and found that despite the coarseness of the sandy texture, the exfoliation itself was gentle and my skin was left soft and smooth after one use and there was no residue that some other scrubs may leave.

I always find that it’s best to exfoliate with this scrub before shaving as using it after has caused a little irritation and redness at times but that’s my own fault and not the product. A little really does go a long way but one other benefit would maybe be a larger packaging only because I go through bags of it like nobody’s business.

I find that when it comes to my tanning regime, this scrub, the Bondi Sands Body Wash and Bondi Sands Body Moisturiser are the perfect prep for my skin and my Bondi Sands Ultra Dark Foam or Aero Ultra Dark tan tends to go on and last a lot longer than it normally would without using this.

I highly recommend this scrub and brand and given that holidays are not happening right now, the scent this provides gives you a little taste of sunshine and takes me away somewhere nice and warm in my head!.

I bought this at the start of the summer and love it. Its a really great scrub, but it is NOT a self-tanner. The product name and description are really confusing and misleading. But the scrub is perfect for summer, and I can see how it makes your tan look better because unlike many scrubs, it is very moisturizing.

But no self-tanning involved. Buy it just because you need a great scrub, and smells awesome. I liked layering the scent by applying the after sun lotion and perfume afterwards.

I love Monai, this smells amazing like the after sun and lasts! But please tell me what this is? This has to be the worst description of a product and its use I have read. It’s a scrub yes. But does it enhance your natural tan or is it a self tanner as well! Really? Absolutely confusing.

This product, unlike many others I have used in the past, actually leaves a tan behind that doesn’t look too dark. It’s also not messy on the hands trying to apply it! Love it!

I like heavy duty body scrubs — the rougher, the better. So I was dubious when I saw the tiny bamboo beads in this scrub…this couldn’t possibly get the job done. I was wrong! I first used it to wash my hands, and they felt silky and looked 10 years younger after just one quick use! I feel that the chemical exfoliants in this work together with the bamboo beads for an efficient exfoliation without all the manual (and time-consuming) scrubbing required by my usual ‘scrubby’ scrubs.

In the shower, this scrub foams up wonderfully (even better than the Necessaire shower gels, actually) so it was quick and easy to clean my whole body; this takes the place of body wash a few times a week.

It rinsed easily, and left my skin feeling incredibly clean…almost squeaky clean, but without the squeak, since it gave my body the same silky smooth finish as it had my hands. The sandalwood scent seemed stronger in this scrub than in the shower gel, but didn’t linger long.

All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and this was TOTALLY worth the price. The black tube looks sexy in the shower, too!.

Yes yes yes! This was a stocking stuffer from my husband and I LOVE it. I’m super picky about my products after working I’m aesthetics for years and I’m super impressed! Clean ingredients – check! You only need a SMALL amount because it spreads super far – check! The Eucalyptus smells amazing – check! If you follow the instructions and massage in so the chemical exfoliants (the acids which sound scary but aren’t) can do their job, it will leave you feeling silky smooth without being rubbed raw like cheaper physical only (sea salt/sugar) exfoliant body washes – Check check check! (Pro tip turn the shower head away from you, apply a small amount all over, rub/massage in then let it sit for a bit while you add conditioner or detangle your hair or something).

This is a nice, simple exfoliator for everyday use. You feel the physical exfoliation when rubbing it on your skin and I like the fact that there is a chemical exfoliation too when you lather/ rinse.

It’s very easy to use and I can see how this would suit a lot of people as an everyday exfoliator. The product doesn’t have a scent, which I know a lot of people will love too. Personally, I like the awakening or relaxing effects of scents with body products so I would prefer one.

However, I understand scent-free is one of the brand’s USPs! Slightly disappointing that the tube is not recyclable, however I do appreciate the brand’s transparency around this and outlined steps towards improving, as I know it can be tricky when you are a small brand.

I bought the bundle , tan , primer exfoliater , glove and tanning glove. Included was a gradual tan. I’m not a tanner , when iv attempted it , it has always turned out horrendous so quit years ago after 2 attempts.

I tried this expecting the same result, and amazingly it was perfect. Covered evenly. No blotches to knees and feet and skin was fresh and smooth. I used the gradual tan too and it is as easy as applying moisturiser, I am converted at 55 years old and it’s the perfect colour too.

Still don’t know how you all do your backs though ?.

Finally received order. 1 of my products wasn’t even boxed. The box was torn apart. I tried the oil on my legs. I saw no difference at all. How many layers are required for basic color? According to description/use on your site, it states 1 or 2 for more color.

I’ll try the product again, but so far it’s not worth the money or hype. I also ordered the mini application mits. I didnt use because it fits maybe 2 fingers and dont see how it would be more useful to apply.

I received the exfoliating mit as a free gift. I havent used it yet.

Excellent products but they never tell you about self tan maintenance or how to do your hands and feet without having lines and also how to deal with your hairline. The tan starts to show on bedding after 2 days.

What are you supposed to do to stop this. How do you keep your tan going without going overboard. Advice on maintenance wld be great especially when it rubs off in certain places i. e where your bra and shoes go.

Any advice wld be much appreciated as they are great products just no advice is given with them which is disappointing.

If you haven’t try this product yet, it’s time! This smell like a nice perfume you would wear everyday, i love it so much! The smells don’t go after the shower it’s perfect. Pros , amazing body scrub if you use self tanning THIS is the exfoliation you need before applying.

Trust me you never had a flawless application than with this. Leave your skin soft and gentle. The price is right. The cons. Probably the little grain in the product when you rub it in your shower and you rinse off the grain fall all over and you WANT to be carefull because you can totally fall to the floor.

But overall this products is amazing and i keep repurchase until i die!.

Product came just as described and as expected. Bottle was full when arrived. This was the first time I have used a Jergen’s Primer for the self-tanning routine. It has worked great and leaves my skin super smooth after using it.

It also smells great! I would recommend this product to anyone wanted to a good priced exfoliation scrub whether it is for self-tanning lotion or not.

Jergens Natural Glow color primer shower scrub is awesome! I also use Jergens Natural Glow body lotion for a natural looking tan. The color primer shower scrub helps to smooth the skin and prep it for the lotion to go on more evenly.

I get compliments about my tan and actually I am normally very fair complexion. People that don’t know me just think I have a natural tan. I couldn’t achieve it without the Primer Scrub. Also it’s affordable which makes it great! I highly recommend trying it if you want a fake tan that looks natural.

I received their green tan remover glove which I guess is basically an exfoliating glove. Unfortunately I didn’t read and just saw a black glove and figured it was the tanning application glove because I knew the exfoliating tan remover glove was green so I didn’t think to read.

Very disappointed as I had already purchased one and needed the application glove. Wish you guys carried it!.

I accidentally left a review on the tan mitt, not exfoliator mitt! This is by far the best body exfoliator I’ve had, it is super coarse so you don’t have to work too hard. Easy to rinse and dry. Also doubles as a tan eraser mitt, which is really useful, especially with the Hempitan tan water (have left separate review).

Be careful not to go too wild though, it can damage skin if you’re being too rough! Mine was green colour instead of the brown pictured online but it doesn’t really matter.

this is a great body scrub – it is not harsh (the particles in it are quite small) but does great job. I have sensitive skin (on the chest for instance) so I don’t use harsh exfoliators. This one is just right.

Gentle, yet effective body scrub. I like to use it before shaving or applying tanning mousse. Excellent value, a definite repurchase. Also, the tanning mousse from this same brand is excellent too.

I didn’t really understand this product. I was expecting it to be like a scrub, which would take my fake tan off and polish my skin. Instead, I noticed that it is very liquidy and doesn’t scrub my skin too well.

I think it would be more effective if I made scrub myself from sugar and honey, to be honest.

I ordered this item and I am highly impressed. Never heard of it before the Exfoliating Body Scrub, is great to exfoliate your whole body. The beads/scrub are a good size and the colour is very different but works really well and lathers up fantastic.

Its just a shame its such a tiny bottle.

I realize that this is just coffee grounds and I could make it myself, but I’m just not that person. I prefer the convenience and will pay a premium for it. I HAVE to have this in my shower, always!!! I use it once a week (sometimes more if necessary), do a really good scrub on my legs, thighs, booty, back of arms (not as often) and underarms (smoother armpit shave!).

I used to use it everywhere but I’d go through a bag of this in no time so now I just stick to the essential areas. As soon as I’m done exfoliating with this, I rinse my shower to get rid of the mess and prevent any staining.

I’ve not had any stains on our tile walls or tub and I’ve been using this religiously for a couple years now. The smell is whatever, it’s coffee. It rinses brown, of course. But what it does for my skin and for shaving is addicting.

I can’t NOT use it. It exfoliates so well, my skin is softer, my skin after shaving has never ever been so smooth. Sure it’s messy and the resealable bag is waterproof, yay, but is also annoying because once the coffee gets stuck in the seal, it’s not so easy to close, but it would cost more if it was in a jar (and I’ve considered pouring it in a jar before but haven’t).

either way, it’s so worth it to me. I do wish it wasn’t as expensive but I’ll still buy it anyway. I’m super happy Ulta has been carrying it and I hope they always will. Nothing will compare for me at this point.

I do prefer the Original, as the coconut oil one leaves a film behind so when shaving right after, the razor gets icky.

I have been using this product for the last 7 years and I have had amazing results. My skin is smooth, has lightened my stretch marks, and rid me dark marks on my body. Ever since I have started using this product it has made my skin soft and glowy.

I have read the comments urging people not to buy, but based on what I read I gather people have used the product wrong. The package says to use 3x a day and I recommend that you follow those instructions for results.

This is an abrasive scrub, if you are used to Lush and Tree Hut products and are not open to trying something new, I would not suggest this scrub. It is important to wet you skin and then apply, I suggest starting with a medium sized amount.

This scrub is messy and you will need to clean your shower afterwards. I suggest pointing your shower head down while you used the scrub, lift the head back up to rinse off, and then use your shower head to rinse as much out of your shower as possible.

This makes for minimal clean up afterwards.

I got 2 of these in one of my monthly boxes. finally decided to crack this baby open today and see how good it works. omg, first of all it smells like coffee and 💩💩. No lie. But I figured let me keep going and see how it works, bc I’ve already committed.

so I start rubbing it all in all over smelling like straight coffee/💩 and then I step back away from the water a lil bc it says to let dry a lil then rinse. the water looks like I’ve had an accident in it 🤦🏼‍♀️ as it drains and I couldn’t even wait for it to dry.

Washed it off, it leaves sort of an oily type feeling. Didn’t care for. Rewashed/scrubbed my body with my good smelling Dove. Buy and use at your own risk. Or just don’t 🚫 I would never. Just being honest.

I got this today and I tried it out right after. I absolutely love this! It’s doesn’t have a strong coffee smell so it wouldn’t be off putting for people who don’t like the smell of coffee and the smell definitely doesn’t linger in the air or on your body.

It exfoliates really well and leave your skin looking so clean,smooth and glowy. It literally gives you that buttery smooth skin like it says on the packet. Might not be the best idea to use on the face because it gets into the eyes easily and it might be too abrasive but it sure does an amazing job on the face too I’ve only used this once but I know I’ll purchase again.

Wow! I’ve had this a while and not used it but I decided a couple of weeks ago to do a foot peel so thought it would be the perfect time to try this and get some skin off. It smells like coffee, so would be great to use in a morning or if you like coffee based perfumes, it’d be good for going out.

Now this is a fine, but scrubs you within an inch of your life type scrub. These are the kind I like. I like to feel the grit working on my skin as such so gentle exfoliator a are not for me. This ticks all the boxes.

You could mix it with a shower gel or something to soften it if you wanted to tho. My skin felt super soft afterwards. Word of caution tho. Stand in the bath or shower when you open this bad boy. It is a powdery format so gets everywhere, it’s like a coffee shop that’s had an accident! 😂 cleans up easy though.

I’m giving it a 3 mainly because it doesn’t smell great. I LOVE the smell of the other Image products I have and feel they work well. I’d give them a 10 if I could! I haven’t used the product long enough to know if it’s effective yet.

My suggestion would be to find a way to make it smell better.

The first few time I’ve used this scrub I was not impressed. The granules felt very tiny, barely there, so it did not seem like it had any exfoliating quality to it. However, after continued use I really do see amazing results, and started feeling the granules doing their job.

Quite well, I might add. Unlike many other scrubs that I’ve tried in the past, this one foams a little bit. It has a faint fragrance. I can’t really describe the scent, but it smells like ‘cleanliness’.

The scrub has a pink’ish hue. I would definitely recommend this product would be purchasing again. You only need a tiny amount for one use, so it’ll last for a long time.

Amazing I truly love it! It has a light easy to spread texture. It isn’t harsh at all and suds ever so slightly. I love using it all over and sometimes only on my bikini line and arm pits to help keep ingrown at bay.

It washes off clean and leave no excess oil or residue but its not drying at all. The price is up there. I got discounted. This is a game changer body exfoliator. No contamination either or water entering- love that it is a tube and not a jar for this type of product.

Best body exfoliator! I tried this yesterday for first time and I’m impressed. My skin felt so soft and smooth straight after. I have oily skin and was on the lookout for an exfoliator that is not cream based or oily or too heavy so it won’t clog my pores and this one is just perfect.

First of all, I love the lemongrass scent from this product. I live in a hot, humid country so the scent is uplifting and cooking – kind of experiencing a spa-like treatment in the bath. The bamboo extract is gentle and gliding through the skin smoothly that I don’t feel any roughness when using.

The only challenge I’d mention is the cap. You will push one side of the cap to open up the small hole and this does help you to control the amount you want to use conveniently, but because of the particles of the (I think) bamboo extract, it can be stuck at the hole where you squeeze out the gel which making the cap hard to close completely.

Besides that, this is one great product to be added on the shelf in your shower room to purify your skin time to time to achieve smoother skin.

Originally got a sample of this in a beauty box and was so pleased with the results I’ve bought the full size – and this will be a constant repeat purchase. On opening, the first thing you notice is the smell.

If you love coffee you’ll love it – personally I don’t and was initially put off. However the results more than compensate. As a scrub its great but what really impressed was that on drying myself I didn’t need to apply body lotion to rehydrate my skin it really was silky smooth.

Honestly can’t say how impressed I was. Definitely 5 stars (but would still like an alternative fragrance for us non coffee lovers).

Over the years I have gotten a tan from always being outside working out and doing jobs in the sun. Back then I did not always wear sunscreen so it was kind of annoying to see that the skin on my forearms and face got about three shades darker than every other part.

I googled suntan removal and ended up purchasing two products from this site, one of them being Mamaearth Ubtan body scrub. I admit that my first initial impression was not great because it was not as rough as the face scrub I purchased so I was going to give it 4 stars but I’m giving 5 stars because I love it! The scent is light but very sweet, but most of all I love, LOVE how smooth it makes my skin feel as soon as I use it.

It’s so soft afterwards and I can even still feel the how soft and clear it feels days after! I usually only use it on my arms and neck but I’m going to buy more and use it on every part of my body! Need to stock up for the winter, which is the best time to get my skin tone even! It It’s made taking a shower my favorite part of my days.
