I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. Aveeno Positively Radiant Skin Brightening Daily Scrub is a gentle daily exfoliating product with a pleasant, fresh scent.

It provides very light exfoliation that achieves optimal effect with daily use. The product instructions recommend using once or twice a day. The first time I tried this product, I was a bit surprised at how light the exfoliation effect was.

With a word like “scrub” in the product name, I expected something with a little more exfoliation power. This is not a product one uses to notice an immediate difference in skin texture (as is typical with other products described as “scrubs”).

This product does not have the abrasiveness of other scrub products. I used it for several days in a row and only noticed a marginal difference in my skin. I believe that continued use over several weeks would be required to see the full results of this product.

I believe this product would be best for people with sensitive skin or who otherwise only desire light exfoliation. I personally prefer to use a more abrasive scrub once or twice a week as opposed to a product such as this one.

I do believe the use of the word “scrub” in the name of this product is a bit misleading, as it does not have the abrasiveness of other products that use this word. So be aware that if you are looking for the more intense exfoliation typically associated with products described as scrubs, this product will not provide that.

But if you are looking to add light exfoliation into your skin care routine, this might be the product for you.

e. shower) and as a face wash and here are my thoughts: Pros: The product is a creamy white scrub gel. It has a smooth lather and does not irritate or dry the skin. My skin had definetyl the clean feeling after washing with this product.

I will be honest, after having used this product for 3-4 days I also found my skin more radiant and clear, and overall looking more healthy. I was not expecting such a fast outcome to be honest. It feels like my skin is cleaner, brighter and more fresh overall! So overall while I would recommend this product for being effective, I suggest you also read the “cons” below before making your decision.

Cons: The product has a pleasant smell but it is too strong for my liking. It makes me feel like the chemical content is high. In addition to this, I am not sure if the scrub material in this gel cream is environmentally friendly or not, nothing is mentioned on the product.

Overall I would recommend more natural ingredients are used in future version of this product.

To my surprise, the exfoliating beads are very, very small. They almost feel like crushed rice balls (if that makes any sense) much smaller and gentler than sugar. And their smooth round edges prevent them from creating micro-tears in the skin Aveeno’s scrub product is so light, my face doesn’t feel tight, because it doesn’t dry out my skin.

It is oil-free so I don’t get that oily feeling either. My face doesn’t necessarily feel silky smooth because I don’t think it is loaded with silicone but my face just feels like skin. As for the brightening effect, when you’re face is clean it will always look bright.

This is not going to single-handedly fade your dark spots but getting rid of the dead skin on the surface of your face will help your overall appearance. Just letting the beads do their job. I know you might feel the need to press into the skin as you exfoliate but it is really not necessary, it is a top no-no, because doing so can damage the skin.

Because it is so gentle, I am able to use it 2-3 times a week. It has become an integral part of my weekly night routine before I actually cleanse my face. I love this product and have been raving about it for some time now.

The Neutrogena Stubborn Texture Daily Cleanser is a fragrance-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, dye-free, oil-free, and sulfate-free cleanser that claims to help clear skin and visibly smooth uneven texture.

This product contains salicylic acid, 2% glycolic, and 2% polyhydroxy acids. This product is designed for acne-prone skin and intended for daily use. Salicylic acid helps to eliminate blemishes and helps prevent new blemishes from forming.

Glycolic acid is to helps shed dead skin, and polyhydroxy acid helps to exfoliate skin to leave a smooth and clear complexion. As stated in the directions, I wet my face with lukewarm water, applied the product (cleanser) to my hands, and added water to lather the product in my hands.

Then, I massaged the face with this product for a minute. Finally, I rinsed off the product with lukewarm water. All in all, I really enjoyed using this product, and I would highly recommend this product to a family and friend.

I have been using this product for about a week now. It is okay, but I would not recommend a friend or family member go out and buy it. I bought cotton pads and would apply it at night, right before bedtime on a clean, fresh face.

I would get the cotton pad wet with the product snd gently wipe it all over my face, focusing on the problem areas where I see a lot of redness and dark spots. It did make my face feel fresh and also provided a slight tingling sensation.

I can best describe it as a toner when it comes to the consistency and the way it performs. Directly after use, I would say I noticed a difference in the overall redness in my face. I like the way the product performs, but I rated it a 3 because of the way my skin felt afterwards.

It felt almost like I needed to wash my face again because it felt greasy or like there was a slight film on it. I wish the product would absorb better into my face and leave it feeling cleaner than it did.

Rarely do products work for it the way they say they will. This is formulated with 7% Glycolic & Citric Acid Blend aka AHAs. A liquid exfoliator to gently scrub away dirt, dead skin, etc w/o having to manually scrub & potentially damage your skin further.

I did want to give this product a chance to work before I reviewed. And I am very impressed, delighted to own the product for myself. One of my major problem areas, my chin is seeing major improvement.

Personally – this could apply to you also – the areas of my face that need a deep scrub are my nose and chin. A lot of facial scrubs with beads and seeds and grains in them work well on areas with a larger surface area such as the cheeks and chest but don’t work on smaller areas like the nose and chin and even the forehead forcing me to use hand held exfoliating pads for those areas which are far more unhygienic and fiddly.

This facial scrub from the first time i used it has NEVER had an issue with exfoliating the smaller nooks and crannies on my face. This scrub does ALL the work for you, apply a small amount to your fingers and gently rub over damp/dry (not wet) skin, i PROMISE you that when you rinse this product off your skin will feel smoother than ever.

This product is a steal at under £20 it’s the greatest exfoliator i have ever tried and i’m sure it’ll be yours too.

I am 45 years old, so I am conscious of keeping my skin clear and also not excessively scrubbing. This exfoliator is the best of both worlds- it moisturizes but also removes dry skin etc. without being too harsh.

I was really hoping to love the Origins Checks and Balances Polishing Facial Scrub because I do really love the brand. However, I am disheartened by my experience with this product after just one use and can definitely never use it again nor recommend it to others.

This scrub is extremely intense and abrasive. As soon as I applied it to my skin, I knew that it wasn’t going to be good but I powered through for the sake of leaving this review in hopes to help others.

It has a thick cream consistency with an extremely rough, sandy exfoliant mixed throughout. After feeling how rough this product was, I made sure to be gentle when scrubbing my face with it. I used it for about 30 seconds before I knew it needed to be washed off because my skin could no longer handle it.

I do have pretty resilient skin, but this product completely broke down my skin’s natural barrier, leaving my face hot and red and causing my normal following products (hydrating toner, calming serum, and moisturizer) to burn and sting – a telltale sign of a damaged skin barrier.

I want to note that the last time I exfoliated was 4 days ago, so this is not a result of overexfoliation on my part. I should say that this product does exactly what it says it will do – it sloughs off dead skin cells and surface impurities, buffs the surface of the skin, and helps unclog pores – although not in a way that is safe for your skin.

While this product does have many natural plant oils and healthy ingredients, the few bad ingredients overpower the benefits. I’m afraid that those who liked this product do not know enough about skincare to realize what this product is doing, in the same way that many people love the St.

Ives Apricot Scrub. I have to say that the Origins scrub is worse than the St. Ives. Unfortunately I will not be using this product again and cannot recommend it to others. If you do decide to try this scrub, please keep my review in mind and start slow and gentle.

I got this as a trial size sample, but had to come here to add my experience. It did leave my skin very smooth, I’ll give it that. However, I have been using some pretty heavy duty skin care lines and products since I was 12 (I’m 23 now) and have never ever had an issue with product just finding it’s way into my eye during regular use…until this stuff? As soon as I rinsed my face it felt like there was sand in both of my eyes.

I thought little of that since the exfoliating particles did feel small and sand-like on my skin, thinking it would pass quickly with a little light rubbing. Wrong. It’s been half an hour since my nightly skincare routine; I’ve taken out my contacts and massaged with contact solution and still: sand in my eyes.

I didn’t change anything about the mechanics of washing and rinsing my face. The only difference about tonight compared to the last ten years has been this product. Who knows maybe it was a fluke but I’m writing this in the hopes it takes a little of the sting out of my eyes, if only proverbially.

For background, my skin is fair, combination/oily, with several spots of rosacea and occasional acne/congestion. I tried the Origins Frothy Face Wash and really liked it, so decided to try this exfoliator, which is essentially said wash with exfoliating beads.

I’ve enjoyed it so far – like the face wash, it cleanses thoroughly without stripping, while at the same time providing a nice exfoliation. It even foams a little to provide a bit of extra cleansing power.

I use it around 3 times weekly without any irritation to my somewhat reactive skin. It’s not as gentle as a “daily exfoliant,” more of an every-other-day cleanser, but it can be gentler or harsher depending on how much you use and how hard you scrub.

You really don’t need to use that much for an effective exfoliation – I bought the small size and it’s lasted me quite a while.

The product was drawn to be for acne control. The liquid is light and thin with some exfoliant that be able to scrub pores. I found that it lathered well to my face hauling the small circle technique.

I bought this scrub on sale at Ulta and I gotta say, it definitely wasn’t a great buy. This Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Foaming Scrub has large granules that don’t really exfoliate so much as rub around and irritate your face.

They feel like plastic, and they don’t dissolve in hot water. This scrub also has an unpleasant menthol sensation that lingers on your skin after rinsing. While my face was technically clean when using this scrub, it felt harsh and stripping on my skin.

I don’t have sensitive skin by any means, but even for normal/combination skin I wouldn’t recommend this product. The only pro I can really point out is that it was affordable. Would not buy again!.

I received the Clean and Clear Deep Exfoliating Scrub to test from Home Tester Club. The directions weren’t clear if you are supposed to use before or after you clean your face so I used it both ways.

I actually prefer to have scented products. But I will say that the first time I used it, the fragrance was strong to the point it kind of burned my eyes and the back of my throat. But after using it several times, I got used to it.

Again, the directions aren’t terribly specific about how often a day to use it either. But it does say it’s gentle enough for daily use. I used it in the morning and night, before cleansing and after cleansing.

It felt refreshing and made my face feel real soft and smooth. I really like it and will continue to use it. The only reason I did not give it five stars was because of how strong the scent is initially and how the directions weren’t very clear on usage.

I received this bottle of Clean & Clear from Home Testers Club complimentary in return for a honest review. I found this scrub exfoliating cleanser to actually feel like I was pampering my skin. When applying I could immediately feel if going to work deep within my pores.

The tingling sensation makes me feel like it’s doing exactly what it was made for. I live in and area where my face and skin are constantly exposed to the sun. In return from so much exposure my skin tends to become dry and a bit flaky.

I have to use a scrub exfoliator to remove the dried skin. The scrub is gentle to the touch not overly abrasive. It left my skin feeling smooth and clean. The only thing with it being a gel , it didn’t come off as easily as I thought it would.

It’s much easier applying this gel scrub in the shower. I would say it makes me feel like my face was completely pampered.

I’ve been using this exfoliator for years (hormonal acne). Smells great, and the cooling sensation is nice. The beads exfoliate nicely. Now my son uses it too, because he started having pimples. It works great, cleans the skin perfectly, hence reduces breakouts and helps current ones disappear faster.

I couldn’t find the peach one which I usually use. I loved the peach one. This one is less scrubby (if you know what i mean). the peach one really exfoliates and my face feels 100x smoother but i’d use it only 1-2 times a week.

this one i use everyday because it’s gel and less abrasive. feels minty cool too. nothing wrong, but i’d still like to get the peach one for deep clean. i guess it really depends on your preference. but for the price, good product.

I just love so many of the Aveeno brand products to be honest. but, Their skincare line is definitely where I spent the majority of the money i spend overall on this popular brand. One can never truly go wrong when choosing to add Aveeno to their skincare routine! And thats the truth! While i have used multiple products from their skincare line , I tend to prefer the ‘Positively Radiant’ line.

I love the results I get when using the daily scrub and the moisturizer together in my skincare routine every day. The scrub itself is so gentle on the skin yet it effectively rejuvenates my appearance to perfection each n every time I use it.

I can see the positive results when i use this cleansing scrub about 2 days out of the week as my exfoliator. I am always feeling much more confident on the days when ive exfoliated using the Positively Radiant scrub because i can literally see the brand new and bright skin on my face and neck area once i complete my morning skincare routine on these couple days out of every week that i incorporate this must-have product in said routine.

Pretty much all aspects of my skincare routine change up here n there after several months of using one of the same products in any one of the multi-step routine for daily skincare. But for almost 2 years straight now, ive continued to use Aveenos Positively Radiant scrub as my exfoliator twice each week in order to get all those dulling dead skin cells off of my face thus revealing an absolutely POSITIVELY impeccable looking face when i finish my daily morning routine on these days! I love the positively radiant line of products because they have a nice clean scent. The products come in nice packaging that features a lot of green which works well with portraying that it features naturally derived granules.

This product is a scrub that helps to make your skin more smooth and brighter. I like that the granules and scrub is very light which is why you can use it daily. I have used scrubs in the past that are very harsh and leave my skin feeling raw and looking red.

The product can be used daily when you wash your face. Just put a small amount of product in your hand and work onto your skin making sure to avoid eye contour area. My skin feels much smoother and refreshed after use.

I would recommend this product to anyone who likes aveeno products or the positively radiant products. Also, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a scrub that is gentle on your skin.

I was excited to try this product as an Influenceser because of course it’s winter and it seemed perfect for this season’s skin conditions! My face felt really clean after I used it and my skin felt nice, like a perfect balance! It has a nice lather , it leaves my face feeling very clean but not tight.

I felt so fresh afterwards. On the negative side but it’s really a preference I found it to be runny, so when I opened the product some oozes out. I wish it was a little thicker. Overall it’s a very good product I found it really a perfect balance of clean.

It has very very light fragrance and it didn’t bother my face which is currently because of winter dry and sensitive, but it soothed my dry sensitive skin. After it felt better. I definitely would consider buying this product again but I do wish it was thicker.

The dry spot on my nose is still there and so is the roughness on my forehead. I will continue to use and see if I get any breakouts (will update later).

the Scrub was very gentle. if you have super sensitive skin tis might be the scrub you want to try. it’s not as abrasive as other scrubs I’ve used. After using it, it didn’t try out my skin and it did feel super hydrated either.

The packaging is nothing special just your typical packaging. I didn’t really care for the scent. I also would have liked for it to a have a little more lather seeing that the scrubing properties are so gentle.

Overall the product is ok. Will continue using it.

I have been scooping up Yesto products for the last few months (especially the watermelon scented items). I decided to try the Daily Facial Scrub because I loved everything else. Like others, I received a very watery version of the product, and it is a little off-putting to the point that I won’t use it.

It does smell somewhat like watermelon, but it also has a slightly unpleasant odor. I do love the other products, but this one is a miss for me. I gave it two stars because I didn’t want to give it one because I like all the other Yesto products so much.

A scrub that feels like it is scrubbing the dead skin away. This is my favorite scrub. Their ingredients are plant based and highly effective. Currently using everyday. This scrub does wonders for my skin This stuff is a lifesaver.

I absolutely love it and my skin loves this product. I left it on for a minute or two after scrubbing just for fun and it felt great. For me the scrubbing granules are the perfect amount and texture.

This cleanser was a gentle, cheerful way to start and end my day. The scent is Jolly-Rancher-esque but is fresh and fruity, never over-sweet or oppressive. My skin tends to break out when I start using a new cleanser, but I didn’t have any such issues with this product.

I’ve been using this scrub for many years. It’s great between facial / derma plane appointments and very gentle. I like to mix with an equal part of my cleanser (Crème Shop Rose Water Double Facial Cleanser), lather it up, and then gently massage all over.

Add more water as necessary, rinse in the shower and overnight with a soothing mask (Kerstin Florian REHYDRATING ALGAE GEL MASQUE). I do this once or twice per week. FYI: I have dry, mature skin that’s still supple but starting to show melasma.

NOTE: Any cleanser or mask should work with this regimen.

This is hands down the best face scrub I’ve ever tried! My daughter is obsessed with Tree Hut scrubs so I bought a few of the face scrubs for her Easter basket. I loved the way the pineapple papaya one smelled so I bought an extra one for myself….

I have to say I was extremely impressed with everything about this scrub! They all smell amazing!!! I could not believe how much of a difference just one use made in how my skin looked and felt! I had no idea how much I needed to exfoliate until now! I have super sensitive skin and break out easily but I have had no issues with this at all.

It’s not at all harsh like a lot of other scrubs I’ve used and it’s gentle enough to use every day. My only gripe is that I wish they came in larger portions!!.

I usually use St Ives scrub. But glad the store associate told me about this scrub. I use it under my arms just so I dont get darkness. After scrubbing I let it sit then I do my face. For some reason it feels like it heats up on my face (extra bonus).

My face is super smooth after using. I get breakouts from wearing a mask all day so when the breakouts start to get a lil scab this helps to smooth it out. Brought this about 2-3 weeks ago and use every morning so my face looks bright in the mornings and at night I use under arms.

I was nervous about this item because my skin is sensitive, and I knew that this face wash had grains of sugar in it. I was worried about it scratching/tearing my face and making it irritated. However, the wash is actually semi gentle.

It doesn’t lather, so if you’re looking for a lathering wash this isn’t the one for you. However, I could actually see the dirt that was stripped from my face after the first use and I was AMAZED. I really like this face wash for use maybe 1-2 times a week along with your regular face wash.

This is an excellent exfoliating product! I have used this ever since 5years. Its has micro orange extract that is gentle to the skin and removes any dirt/buildup without stripping any moisture from the skin.
