20 Best Exfoliator For Down There (2023 Updated)

I have mixed feelings, I will admit when it comes to scrubs I would like a little more of a rougher, courser exfoliation. One that I felt would brush away dead skin in combination with my gloves or loofah, however I didn’t feel that way with this scrub.

It was more of a gentle exfoliation, which is nice but not what I was looking for. The product is decent though, my skin absorbed the moisture from the product but it was like the scrub just melted in my skin.

rather than scrubbing. Shoutout to the squalane. To sum things up, I would recommend this product to someone who has sensitive skin and is leaning towards the side of wanting a mild daily exfoliator that is moisturizing.

And not for a client trying to scrub off their sins lol.

This body scrub is unlike any that we have ever tried. My Husband and I both have combination skin and this product met the needs of each area, without fail. Typically, exfoliators burn our skin, in certain areas, or causes the shower to be an area of caution from too much oil mixed into the product.

This scrub was formulated perfectly to wipe away the dead skin cells and to gently moisturize your skin. We follow with a thick moisturizer since there is still a chill in the air outside. After the first use, he could not stop complimenting me on how soft my skin had become.

I really love the smell and texture of this. It feels nice and adds a little spa flare to my shower or bath experience. It’s also a quick scrub for washing off my facial powder if I’m too tired to fully wash my face.

The only flaw in this scrub is that it dissolves very quickly, so you don’t feel it full exfoliates. It also leaves a slight film/moisturizer behind. Overall, something I will keep using.

I am no stranger to Tree Hurt body scrubs. I’ve worked my way through 8 different scrubs scents. Currently, using the Coco Colada scrub & whipped shea body butter. I agree the coconut smell is overpowered by the pineapple yet I find the combination light, refreshing and attractive.

I pair the scrub & body butter with Dove Restoring Coconut Butter & Cocoa Butter body wash &Dove Caring Coconut deodorant. I’m left with the softest, smoothest, moisturized skin. This is a great set for a Self Care Sunday Routine.

silk scrub is everything you could ask for in a body scrub. gentle, effective and multi-functional. the only complaint i have is the packaging. why such an ergonomically abysmal design? if anyone has limited function of their extremities, they will be beyond frustrated to use this scrub.

so slippery and you will never be able to get the last bits out because the bottle is so rigid, you have to squeeze it with both hands. be careful when you do, though! the lettering on the packaging is not waterproof and you may find the letters coming off the packaging into your hand.

it’s such an issue for me, that i’ve actually looked into other scrubs that have better packaging but their formulas don’t compare. luckily fur is extremely open to customer feedback so they’re probably already working on improving this design.

to sum it up: i repurchase because of the unparalleled formula, but i have considered other options due to the flaws in design.

I bought this thinking it’d be more of a physical exfoliant but it’s definitely more chemical; which isn’t a bad thing! I tend to use it as a mask instead of a scrub since I find that is how it works best.

I’ve actually used this as a mask on my bits and face too – after a few minutes I can tell it’s definitely exfoliating and I use the mitt for my bikini area. It leaves everything super smooth and helps with in growns (post wax).

Definitely use a good moisturizer afterwards (like the fur oil) so that nothing gets dry! However, I would say that the price is a little steep for what it does.

I wanted to love this, but this is not a very powerful scrub as others have described, even on sensitive areas it’s too weak. It’s more moisturizing than exfoliating, so it’s really not going to help any bumps on your bikini line.

The smell is EXTREMELY powerful and I am not usually sensitive about scents. It smells like the kind of annoying woman who shops at the co-op and mom shames women who use formula or don’t buy entirely organic, as she shops in her unethically sourced designer clothing.

There’s definitely cheaper more effective products out there. Of all the fur items, this is the worst.

Not crazy about the scent of this one. A little to herbal smelling. The texture of this scrub is too solid. You definitely need to add water to be able to use it. Not sold on this one.

Fragrance Free for your sensitive clients. But don’t worry….no scent doesn’t mean that they skimp on the good stuff. This scrub is the best I’ve used. Gives your skin a nice glow. Love it.

This sugar scrub is amazing! I know I won’t be using any other. The scent is not over powering and the fact that I don’t have to mix it before each use in always a bonus. It leaves the skin feeling so silky and smooth!.

it’s a decent scrub but you do need to use a generous amount as the sugar dissolves rather quickly from friction. Personally, I enjoy the scent but I will advise that it’s quite potent, definitely rose with undertones of fresh linen but it doesn’t smell terribly cheap like a laundry softener or something.

It will actually leave a short lasting scent in your bathroom. Keep in mind that ants might gravitate towards any exposed sugar scrub (like residue) but I noticed they don’t go into the jar, perhaps bc of the fragrance.

They could infest the jar but it’s difficult for me to say bc I used this outside of ant season. Anyways, that’s just a little side note, definitely not a deal breaker. it’s a great scrub that’s great for routine exfoliating.

Don’t expect miracles. I used this almost daily after 2 rounds of foot peel masks for 2 weeks. I think it made the process a lot faster and easier. I’ve done several peels before and they usually result in tweaker picking pains (getting a little too enthusiastic about the peeling process.

it’s addictive and satisfying for a lot of people, however you can accidentally rip off fresh skin that’s connected to dead skin that’s not peeling yet). Anyways. this is a great treatment and maintenance product after using a foot peel.

it does help encourage dead skin to loosen up enough to be easily removed.

I’m not Tweeter or TicTaker, I found this just because I needed a new scrub and am so thrilled I did. I absolutely love anything natural coconut (when it doesn’t smell like suntan lotion) and lime, and this errs just more on the side of citrus than coconut for anyone wondering.

Its consistency sets it apart from any other scrub I’ve used and is almost a gel base rather than a sandy mixture you have to stir together before each use. Really unique, and I’ve found it doesn’t leave surfaces slick/oily or create a nasty tub ring – THAT is why I will purchase this forever.

Also I don’t love an aggressive scrub, and this is effective while being gentle and kind to my sensitive skin. The large tub will last me at least 6 months using 1-2x/week. The one star off is for the extensive ingredients list since I like much simpler skincare, but obviously this scrub wouldn’t be what it is without them all.

So far none of the other scents have appealed to me, but I’d love to try another if the texture is the same for all of them,.

I’ve kept a tub of Tree Hut scrub in my shower for over a decade. It’s my favorite and I don’t ever want to be without it. They’ve perfected the size of the sugar particles and the ratio of moisture to grit.

This allows for an extremely satisfying, thorough exfoliation experience and I love how it leaves my skin feeling new again. A little goes a long way. With once weekly full-body exfoliation a tub lasts 6 months or so.

It’s a fairly aggressive scrub, which I prefer. But with a less dense handful spread out over a larger area it can be quite gentle as well. You absolutely cannot beat these scrubs! They do the job too well to ever justify forking over the extra dough for higher end ones.

I like to switch up the scents, but Moroccan rose is my favorite of late. The scent is rose-y, clean and uplifting. A bit perfumey as rose tends to be, so proceed with caution if you don’t like rose.

Love this sugar scrub. It does a great job of exfoliating the skin but very gently. My skin is so soft, moisturized, and smooth after just one use. The smell is perfect! Not too overwhelming but lovely to smell as you apply it.

It doesn’t overpower any perfume/fragrance I choose to put on.

I usually use Herbivore’s Coconut Scrub (totally recommend btw) but decided to try this since it was on a 50% deal. I hate to be so harsh but it was awful. The smell isn’t very appealing it almost smells like perfume but that wasn’t a huge issue.

Actually using it wasn’t awful either. But after I was done with the scrub it left the water super gritty and the rest of my soak was really uncomfortable. I didn’t feel like I used too much or anything.

I ended up cutting my bath short because of that. Then as I was draining the tub I saw this brown ring around it. It was like this icky residue so I wiped my hand across the edge of the tub to try and remove it which get the brown sugar off but the residue was still there so we’ll see if that worsens.

So the tub was draining and usually I don’t wait for it to finish before showering but this time I did because there were brown and black bits all over the tub. So then I have to wait for all the water to drain and rinse the tub several times which washed away all the grit but still left the residue.

Then when I went to wash up in the shower, I literally washed myself 3 times and there is still this icky sticky uncomfortable residue on me and I don’t even feel clean. What makes it worse was that I was cleaning all day and just wanted to relax in the tub afterwards cuz I was exhausted.

But I was left with a mess to clean up (and probably more to come with that residue), I had to clean myself 3 times which made my shower longer and frustrating, and now I just feel gross and annoyed.

I feel so pessimistic with this review but it really did kinda ruin what was supposed to be a relaxing experience and supposed to be a relaxing product. So very long story – short, I’m gonna stick with Herbivore’s Coconut Scrub.

I am fairly new to this product, but I LOVE IT. I was making my own body scrub for years, but this had such great reviews I thought I would give it a try. What a pleasant surprise. This scrub feels great and smells even better.

What I like the most is how it makes my skin feel after the shower. Because of this scrub, I now need a lot less skin moisturizer. The coconut oil leaves my skin feeling really soft. I live in a high altitude where the air is very dry.

This is a wonder product!!!.

Omg, omg, omg! This is probably gonna be my all time favorite beauty product if 2022 and that says alot since I am a product junkie. My daughter told me about this stuff after I just got into trying different scrubs.

I liked the others but it wasn’t any type of wow factor with them after shaving. But, then I tried hers finally! And I can’t stop touching my skin 🤯 I actually texted her and said “Omg, I can’t stop touching myself and ahe said “mom, no! Never ever say that again in a text” 😳 oops! 😂 But, this is the truth! I remember back many, many years ago when I started shaving for probably the first 6 months as a teen, I used to love hoping in the sheets after because they would feel.

so smooth on my legs. The best feeling! Well, for some reason after a while I would chase that feeling but never could get it back. Now here I am 25 years later and I found it 😠🤯😠Right after using this product all over my body.

My body is as soft as a baby’s bottom and I am so serious! If only a pic could show how smooth I really am 🤩 Then on top of that, it smells amazing and my daughter says it will stay with you all day.

I haven’t made it that far because I was so wowed that I came straight for a review 😂 please try this stuff! And to know it’s only $10!!! I may be in trouble because I may want to scrub down every night but I gotta refrain because I’d probably rub myelf raw.

lol. But, I am now gonna look forward to several times a week. Can’t wait to try the different scents because I seen so many when I ALMOST bought this at Ulta before. Don’t do like I did and decide against it.

This product in general is amazing! While this specific scent is not my favorite, I do like it. The main gripe I have with this is that they tried to make it too watermeloney, it literally has seed like particles all in it that I just don’t care for.

It’s also has a potent, bubbleliscious flavor watermelon flavored bubblegum strong scent. It’s just a little much and I am not sensitive to smiles in anyway. They literally never bother me and this doesn’t the point that I wouldn’t use it.

I just thought, wow it’s a little stout. I also think I may be a little bit sensitive to it to the point it makes me kinda itchy. While I highly recommend this brand of scrub and will continue to purchase it, you may want to think twice about this particular scent if you don’t like any of the things that I mentioned above.

Overall this is a good product. But the watermelon scent that you get doesn’t smell the same after you get out. It’s super sweet and smells more like strawberry candy than watermelon. So if you are expecting a watermelon jolly rancher smell.

that’s not what you are going to get. It’s much sweeter than that. The scrub works well for exfoliating. but don’t use it everyday and if you have sensitive skin I wouldn’t recommend using it at all.

Because the sugar crystals are very course and aren’t finely ground up at all. Also the black seeds in the jar do not dissolve. I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about them. But my experience was that they very easily, washed right off my body, and then right down the drain for me.

No problems whatsoever. Yes, I will probably buy it again. The only reason I’m not giving the full five stars, is because I was expecting a watermelon scent, not a strawberry scent afterwards.

It’s 7:30 on a Tuesday night and I’ve just arrived home after a 10 hour shift nursing in surgery. The tank is on empty, I feel like crap, and I want to remove the day with a hot shower. But… there waiting in the bathroom is my faithful Himalayan salt scrub.

After removing the national forest I grew, along with every dead skin cell I was ashamed to call my own, I am fresh, clean, and feel incredible. Once dry, I follow up with some coconut cream mixed with glory oil and take in the soft baby butt skin that I personally gifted to myself.

I have what I call reptilian skin 😂…seriously it is so dry it gives the Sahara Desert a run for it money and I have spent a fortune trying to get them looking to the point of ok…. and VOILA! Along comes Sonya with this amazing scrub…My legs feel like they are being exfoliated not ‘tickled’ 🙄.

And the oil in it makes my legs feel absolutely amazing afterwards. I have been using this for well over 12 months possibly longer and my legs are ‘normal’ …I use once a week now and have got friends onto it to keep away In growing hairs…just a tip…in winter it goes quite solid so just leave the tube on the shower floor while washing and it softens enough to use within a minute or two and at the end of the day……seriously what more can you ask for!.

While this body exfoliator was not the daily, gentle scrub I was looking for – it suits my husband to a tee! He’s not a “product guy” but this scrub earned his approval. It was perfect for his outdoorsy skin – exfoliated without being too harsh or “too girly.

” Many charcoal scrubs leave a mess in the shower, but this one rinses away cleanly. Having a twist-off cap is an inconvenience and lead to product leaking out. A flip-top would solve that problem. I purchased the Eucalyptus scent.

To me it smelled exactly like professional office buildings’ bathroom cleaner. To my husband, whose nose is less sensitive, it was “okay. ” Now I buy him the unscented.

I was lucky enough to be sent other products from this brand and were impressed. So I had to purchase this body exfoliant as I was curious. It’s so effective and gorgeous. The scent is very subtle but I love that.

It is a fine granular exfoliant and it lathers up like a shower gel. Because the grain is so fine you can scrub to your hearts content. The end result is beautiful soft hydrated skin. Really glad I found this brand.

It’s useful to have a product that you can use daily. No gimmicks just straightforward effective ingredients that work.

I waited about 30 days before writing a review to give an authentic review of this product. However, I could not use it for 30 days because it broke out my skin, and there was not enough product to cover the body.

I mean by this that the product is advertised as a body scrub, but you can not use it for your body because it does not evenly spread to be able to scrub the body. You are better off just using it for your face.

I have susceptible skin, and such products can irritate or burn the skin if there are too many fragrances in them. The saddest part is when I initially submitted a return, I was not able to drop it off because I was 9 months pregnant and gave birth to my baby and was placed on bed rest; I recently tried to return it with the label I was given and was told since it was out of the 30-day mark, I could not.

I will not purchase again.

I’m a huge fan of 99% of the Dermalogica products. I purchased the body oil, the body wash as well as this and a few other of the newer body oriented products including the body moisturizer. All of the products are incredibly great.

I will say that this has a little bit of a stiff clotted texture that’s just slightly too thick to smear on your body properly. I put it in my hand, add a little water and it becomes a more useable product.

Dense. Great results. I feel this could be more scented.

I love all things Dermalogica but this scrub was a huge disappointment. The consistency is so thick that it’s a struggle to get out of the tube. I’ve tried warming the tube in water, massaging it, etc and it makes no difference.

Once I’m able to wring a tiny bit out of the tube the scrub remains thick on my skin and does not really dissipate. When applying it by brush, cloth or bare hands it makes no difference. The scrub washes off with difficulty and I’m not noticing anything good about it.

A lot of frustration for no actual benefit. Maybe I just got a bad batch?.

I’ve been using this product for about a year, so it’s time I write a review. I have had kp since childhood. I can remember my grandma squeezing the “little white worms” out of my arms while sitting on her lap.

They would come and go with the seasons. Fast forward to adulthood. I started seeing products advertised for rough and bumpy skin. I tried nearly all of them. None really helped. Then about three years ago I had my daughter.

Amongst the other changes to my body, my kp got significantly worse. It was no longer only on my upper arms, but also on my forearms and thighs, and scars were starting to form. I decided to try this product along with the lotion.

My bumps are nearly all gone. The lotion smells great; however, it didn’t really affect the outcome. I will be using this product for life, or until it’s discontinued, which I hope never happens. I just wish I could get reimbursed with my fsa account for the product.

I had been diagnosed with Darrier’s. I was prescribed steroid creams which only minimally helped with overall body itching and sores. This product solely relieved all symptoms after using it for approx 1 month while improving my skin with each use.

A lifesaver for anyone suffering with similar skin issues. No more sores, itching and an added bonus of better skin texture. Amazing!.

My first impression with this scrub was the Mocha fragrance that it had which made me buy it automatically. The aroma of coffee makes my senses so happy since i’m a coffee fanatic. Shortly after, i realized in the ingredient list that there is crushed coffee beans in it.

I’m not a fan of coffee bean scrubs because coffee beans don’t break down when they come in contact with water like sugar does. They tend to leave a stronger exfoliation so I don’t recommend using this product more than once, maybe twice a week if you have sensitive skin.

Besides that, it’s very hydrating and smoothing like Tree Hut scrubs always are. It made my skin feel firmed, but nothing negative or tightening due to the hydrating ingredients. Pairs wonderfully with “Vanilla Mocha Cafe” by Bath and Body Works.

This scrub works fantastically for the price. The sugar is fairly small grained, not too rough. It works by just hand use and with a cloth, sponge, or brush (Brush is a bit much though). It doesn’t leave me sticky either.

The smell straight out of the jar is nice, but has a slight. plastic smell??? It’s one I’ve never come across with a coffee scrub and I’m struggling to describe it, and it’s strong enough I don’t think I’ll be buying it again.

And I personally put this up to body chemistry but my skin smell afterwards wasn’t. fantastic either. Not foul but not good coffee and chocolate. However the scrub part of this works well. I was slightly disappointed by the smell thing but it wasn’t bad enough to toss the jar (I’m almost out).

Overall, I do intend on trying out a different scent by Tree Hut soon. ( I’ve been a fan of their lotions for. over a decade? I can’t find the Brazilian Nut line anymore which is the biggest travesty ever.

Their hair minimizing lotion works well too. ) TLDR – Tree Hut is an excellent brand, this product in particular works excellently as a scrub, scent was not what I was wanting. 3/5 ALSO – PSA – SPRAY DOWN YOUR SHOWER AFTER USE.

Let me start off really quick with the only fault I could find in this product: the smell isn’t my favorite; not revolting or to the point of preventing me from using it. It’s barely even an issue. Now to good parts: literally everything else.

I have some of the driest skin; if the Sahara desert and sandpaper had a baby, it would be my skin, especially on my legs. This scrub has changed my life. It sloughs off the dead and flaking skin cells, leaving my body polished and glowing.

A little goes a long way, and with the sizable tub, I expect this scrub to last me a long while. But when the time comes to replenish my stock, the price will never be a hindrance. It’s unreal the amount and quality of this product for the price.

I would like to try another Tree Hut sugar scrub to see if the results of one without charcoal are similar, while giving me a scent I may like more. I’m having the best time feeling my own skin and even my ambivalent BF has commented on how much better my skin feels.

Best sugar scrub hands down!!! I’m a huge believer in charcoal and it’s uses and properties so I was so excited to try this scrub out. I have folliculitis (for those of you who don’t know what that is, basically whenever I shave, I get inflamed hair follicles, razor burn that stings, and my hair follicles become infected and clogged causing ingrown hairs) so I have to wax everything.

Waxing also gives me bad ingrown hairs as well so I need to exfoliate every other day. I’ve tried about 10 different scrubs and this was by far the best. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily after use, doesn’t leave oil on the bottom of your tub and is the perfect concentration to slough all the dead skin off.

The amount of ingrown’s I have is significantly less, I barely find them anymore and it makes my skin feel silky smooth and moisturized. My legs used to have small red dot all over from shaving and didn’t have a smooth look to them but with each use they look better and better.

Slightly more abrasive than I prefer, but definitely gets the job done. Doesn’t feel like it moisturizes, but doesn’t dry me out either. I bought this because I liked the similar Maui volcanic ash products, and wrongly assumed this would smell similar.

It instead seems to have a generic perfumed scent that I’m really not a fan of. Overall – I’ve used scrubs that were less harsh, and far more moisturizing with preferable scents. This may work much better for different skin types, but for my dry, overly sensitive skin it’s a pass.
