20 Best Exfoliating Soap For Body (2023 Updated)

This bar does an excellent job of exfolliating. This is not a bar for someone who is just looking for pampering and slight exfolliating of their skin. This is highly exfolliating product. I’ve tried many bars lately trying to find a good exfolliator, and this is by far the best.

One needs to be careful when using this as it is easy to overdo it and irritate the skin. It is a bit pricey, but it’s not just a bar of soap – you are purchasing an exfoliator that seems as though it will last at least 1 month, probably longer.

The bar really exfoliates well. In fact, be careful or you’ll leave yourself raw. It seems to last a while. My only complaint is the cost. It seems really high for what it is. Other exfoliant creams have many more ingredients.

This seems basically to be a granulated sand paper. So why so expensive??.

This is the best exfoliant that I’ve ever used. I have tons of acne scars and Thankx to Crystal Peel they’re rapidly gettin lighter and most of them have disappeared. I recommend this product to everybody.

I use it every other day because it can be harsh if used too often. Overall Amazing Product !.

I can’t finish using this bar because of the scent. I have sensitivity to fragrances that can trigger migraines. I was worried when I opened the shipping box and the smell was very strong. After unboxing everything and putting it away I was hoping it was the soap box that smelled so strongly, which was not the case.

Then I noticed after I placed the bar into the shower that the entire bathroom is filled with this really strong smell. I hoped that maybe after I used it a few time the smell would get more mild but it’s just as strong as ever.

I won’t be able to finish using the bar unfortunately. I love the paper packaging, and the soap works fine. Lathers up the washcloth well, I just can’t stand the smell.

The product description says “can last as long as three 22-ounce bottles of body wash” but that has not been my experience at all. I’ve only been using it for three weeks and it’s 2/3 gone. I use it in the Peach soap bag–which I love, by the way–and hang the bar to dry, so it’s not that the bar is being subjected to too much moisture.

It just doesn’t last as long as they say it will. Also, I’m not a fan of fruity smells, and this bar is super fruity. Having said that, it offers a nice gentle exfoliation and my skin feels really smooth and hydrated after using it.

And I love the eco-friendly aspects of the Peach products. I doubt that I will buy this one again though. I’ll keep looking for a longer lasting bar with a smell that is more to my liking.

What I liked best about this product is that the scent isn’t super-masculine or -feminine. So, it works great for families like ours where several people of different sexes/genders share a soap bar. My husband claimed it reminded him of Irish Spring, although I thought it smelled much better than Irish Spring.

I personally prefer the scent of the pink Peach bath bar, but my husband doesn’t like it, so this is a nice compromise. It’s always good to have a few scents to choose from too! The bar lathered nicely, was easy to hold onto in the shower, and left skin feeling hydrated.

Love this soap. It’s not an overly perfumed scent on it, which is great for me. The bar itself is like mini scrubbers on it to help exfoliate the skin and works great all over the body. So far it has been helping to clear up and moisturize any dry spots on my body.

I usually use the bar soap first and then use the Body Wash afterwards. Great so far!.

This is by far the best bar soap I have ever used. Outperforms bigger brands and niche brands. Nice lather, soothing exfoliation, and great smell. As someone who always used body wash, this soap has restored the feels in bar soap.

A bar of soap that exfoliates WITHOUT feeling like a solid clump of sandpaper? How did y’all manage that? As good as this bar seems to work and as great as it smells, I’m still not convinced it is needed to compliment the exfoliating toner.

The experiment will continue.

1st off, let me start by saying I would’ve given this 5 stars but I’ve only just received it so I dunno if it whitens/lightens skin yet, but feels promising! I think the soap is more of a maintainer than actual lightener.

It has perfect amount of roughness and oh my, the most delicious smell!!! Big bar and lathers extremely well considering it has pieces. So far theres no irritation or breakouts. I luvvit ,will definitely buy again even if just for the color & smell, it’s so beautiful.

This soap works great on dark spots, oily and rough skin. After washing with the soap, it makes the skin feel super dry. You will definitely need a good moisturizer after each use. This is not for people with sensitive skin.

The exfoliating beads are very rough on the skin but I love for my oily tough skin.

I received Aveeno Positively Radiant Exfoliating Body wash complimentary for testing/review purposes from Aveeno Chick Advisor. I’ve always been a fan of Aveeno and was very excited to try this. I’ve used the Aveeno Oatmeal ones before.

But the bad definitely outweighs the good here. I am pretty sure this product has microbeads in it- a cheap, polluting filler that is bad for us and the environment. It said it would help with skin discolouration, but I saw no results.

Also the cost is significantly higher than that of products that keep skin better moisturized. But the biggest issue is that Aveeno lied – the product information was false. There were class action lawsuits in Canada and the States that were settled and Aveeno had to discontinue the “Active Naturals” line because as per the class action involves the deceptive, misleading, false and unfair advertising of Aveeno Active Naturals products as being completely natural.

However, Aveeno Active Naturals products are anything but natural as they are found to contain synthetic and unnatural ingredients such as: Sodium Hydroxide, Glycerin and Phenoxyethanol. Very disappointed with Aveeno, because it was a brand I trusted a lot.

I’ve always used scrubbing gloves, but when I paired the gloves with Aveeno’s Positively Radiant Exfoliating Body Wash I was so happy with the immense exfoliation I received with it! It really was invigorating.

I received this complimentary body wash through ChickAdvisor in exchange for review, but my happiness with Aveeno’s Exfoliating Body Wash is truly felt. The scent is wonderfully refreshing, treats the 5 Factors of Radiance (tone, texture, dullness, blotchiness, and brown spots), and is thick enough to be used with a sponge, gloves, etc.

or even just with your hands. I didn’t have use of it long enough before reviewing to see how it treated all 5 factors, and I’m interested in seeing how it works with tone and brown spots, but the quality exfoliation alone is enough to whole-heartedly recommend it.

What I also love about this product is the flexibility I have with it because it gives a light scrub when used with my hands, but it’s still gentle enough to combine with scrubbing gloves. This is definitely a wash that lives up to the Aveeno name and I’ll be keeping it on hand on an ongoing basis with my regular washes for exfoliation maintenance.

This soap is simply amazing. Back in the 70’s before it was discontinued I used to use the NEFA bar by KMS. It left my skin feeling amazingly clean and smooth. Nothing else came close until now, I don’t know how they did it but this soap is perfect (also smells great!) I have even taken my badger brush to it and shaved with it.

It is easily worked up into a lather and with my shower sponge thingy it works amazingly well. I won’t ever use another soap. Please never discontinue.

I have bought a few things from this brand and I love this soap. I use it for my body only and it buffs away dead skin perfectly and leaves skin feeling smooth. Moisturiser just glides in after using this soap.

Definitely recommend this over body scrubs.

It’s an odd thing to talk about, but the soap is extremely pretty! I enjoy the way in looks like in the bathroom – it’s very modern, playful and elegant. Reminds about dragon fruit pulp)) Be ready to come across with really strong scrub – it’s about to scratch the skin, the soap is really rough.

The aroma is very very light and very attractive – every time I’m using it I spend some time smelling). The moisture is not enough for me – it must be combined with somebody lotion as I feel dryness after using.

So its not ideal but still, I’m happy with purchase.

I’ve tried tons of soaps, cleansers, etc. and I would say out of them all I will always use Dove Gentle exfoliating bar. It has been good as a facial cleanser and all over body wash. It does not cause any reactions for me or my children who all have sensitive skin and eczema.

My skin feels smooth / moisturized after using this and I can sometimes see the difference from the exfoliating is does. I would like to see a product do more exfoliating but I’m not sure if that’s would actually be good or not.

Just a suggestion.

I absolutely love this bar soap. The same with my lotions and soaps I like to switch them up. I also use the gentle exfoliate in the body wash too. It lathers really well and it doesn’t leave a film behind.

It also doesn’t have a strong scent which I am grateful for. I love Perfume just not so much in my lotions and body wash. Yes I definitely recommend this 💯. I feel like you need to exfoliate at least once a week.

I give this a 10/10.

Best. Bar of soap. Ever. Ok, so I can’t just stop writing because the survey progress bar is judging my review response and urging me to add more words. The reasons that this is my fave: It feels luxurious.

It leaves my skin feeling soft and not dry like other soaps. The best part of this soap are the exfoliating beads. I rub the bar on my skin and the beads exfoliate the dead skin off. There is also moisturizing cream in the bar.

My skin feels smooth, soft, and lightly moisturized after. In addition, it is very affordable and there are often coupons and sales, sometimes both! Bars with moisturizers usually don’t last too long, this bar, however, lasts longer than others, which is added value.

It smells nice too!.

Excellent product and fast shipping from vendor. Best exfoliating soap out there. I used to purchase from Saks Fifth Avenue and fell in love with it! Combo pack is a great deal as well.

Giving four stars as a warning this soap is not for the faint of heart. It is sharply abrasive but works well on skin like arms and legs. Not for the face. I enjoy it.

I switched from the shower gel to this fragrant soap, which is a is a good cleanser with mild exfoliation. It literally leaves my skin “squeaky clean”. I enjoy a light lather from this soap when I apply it to my bath lily in the shower.

I pair this with the British rose gel scrub. I really like TBS’s vegetable based soaps since they’re great alternatives to the shower gels, which contain SLS, a chemical that irritates my sensitive skin.

I always apply a body moisturizer when I step out of the shower; the soap pairs well with both the British Rose Body Yogurt and the British Rose Body Butter.

I love this soap and the smell !!! 🌷🐝I do have the feeling the smell is slightly different from the body lotion and shower wash but I am still in love. The packaging is also really cute end it takes a while before the soap is completely dissolved.

I’ve been working with a bar of this for a couple of weeks now. There is practically no scent, which is fine. It does make my skin soft but I’m still trying to figure out how I can get the exfoliating benefits unless I just rub the bar all over my body.

Even then, just doesn’t make sense to me. It does soften the skin as well as any Melaleuca skin product.

I love this! I have VERY sensitive skin, but can use this with no issues. The only con to these products is you have to become a member or know a member. I am a member and just get my friends and family the products they want and give it to them at my cost, instead of retail.

I have never tried their products before now, but liked the look of the Volcanic Exfoliating Egg and was intrigued to see what it was like. At first I was disappointed that it was smaller than I imagined, being, as the name suggests, the size of your average chicken’s egg.

I expected it to be a little larger, but I suppose the fact that it fits snugly into the palm of the hand is a benefit when using it in a shower. It is a darkish grey colour, quite neutral in fragrance, but with that hint of cleanliness that suggests health spa and purity of ingredients.

This makes it suitable for both males and females. It seems it will last for some time as although it lathers sufficiently during use, it does not melt away quickly in contact with water, as some soaps do.

It feels quite scratchy on the skin, but not in an unpleasant way, and just reassures that it is, indeed, exfoliating as it promises. It is a good thing to exfoliate on at least a regular basis, to eliminate dead skin cells and toxins held within.

ordinary soap does not necessarily do this, and can leave the skin dried out and looking lifeless. This egg is described as containing pumice powder. so if you can imagine a pumice stone but in a milder form, working away on the upper layer of the skin, you will have a good idea of how this product leaves the skin feeling tingly, clean and refreshed.

It also contains Argan Oil, Olive Oil and Shea butter, to help with re-moisturising, and is also free from sulphates. All in all, this is a clean, pure and environmentally friendly product that does live up to the manufacturer’s claims.

It has certainly helped to clear up a skin blemish I had by cleaning away the dead skin cells after only a couple of uses. So, a recommended product from me.

Rad Soap is pretty RAD, alright! When I first received, I thought maybe I had screwed up because they feel like lotion bars. I bought one of every scent, including a summer sampler pack, not a dud in the bunch.

The overall smell profile is “headshop” or “incense section of your fave alternative store”. I like “Man Up” the best. Would love some fresher or single note floral scents but maybe those are more allergenic.

Very nice size, hefty soap, EXTREMELY luxurious leather. Skin feels great post shower and smells good. I use as shampoo also on my 18″ medium wavy hair and it looks great and doesn’t dry it out or weigh it down.

And plastic free packaging! Great product.

Someone in the family passed this bar of Skin Therapy soap to me, I reluctantly tried it thinking yeah right, just another bar of soap, oh boy was I wrong! This soap is fantastic! The smell is absolutely wonderful! Even after I’m done using it, it makes the entire bathroom smell great! I get many compliments from people in the bathroom asking what air freshener I used! I am going to be sure to visit your store since I am local and pick up this, and check out a few other of your products, I hope anybody reading this tries this product as well, because you won’t be disappointed, I am a mechanic and get pretty dirty working on things, and this soap does a great job keeping me clean and smelling great!.

I know many soaps claim to be gentle for sensitive skin but you know from experience , right? This soap really is. I showered with it so the suds got everywhere. ( even really delicate places!) and I had no problems! What a joy ! Lathered in a decadent cream and smells wonderful!.
