20 Best Essential Oils For Yoga (2023 Updated)

I purchased this sampler set primarily for the combined benefits that it has to offer. Figured it would be nice to have during these winter months & cold/flu season (& of course COVID). Such a simple set but I love the variety it offers.

I had seen the tip in the germ fighter video to place some in the toilet tissue roll & I diffuse it the days my wife comes home from working at the hospital. I even place a few drops on a cotton ball & place it at the bottom of our garbage cans.

I diffuse the immune aid & respir aid in the evening hours to help boost our immune systems. Overall I feel like this set has been working great for us so far. There had been moments where we felt like we were coming along with something but never really got worse than that.

Great set to have!.

I love Edens Garden and I have enough products at home to open a small shop myself. However, this was a new one for me, and I bought it specifically for anxiety in hopes that it would create a calming effect here at home.

dealing with affects of Covid and everything else going on in the world. I was skeptical based on the ingredients but I have learned EG knows what they are doing. Upon first sniff, I was disappointed.

I thought “oh well” and stashed it away and basically forgot about it. Until today. Teenage daughter was having an especially stressful e-learning day at home, so I thought “why not” and decided to diffuse this.

Ya’ll. Something magical happens when this blend is diffused into the air. It smells like sniffing an expensive bar of French milled soap. I couldn’t stop breathing deeply and saying “omg it smells SO GOOD in here!” Daughter visibly relaxed too.

Basically I love this blend, it’s such a departure from what I usually diffuse (any citrus with peppermint and guardian). And it’s not a heavy soap smell, it’s light and airy. Daughter actually commented on how it reminded her of Asian food which means the lemongrass stood out for her.

Trust me, it does NOT smell like food but if you’ve ever chopped fresh ginger and cucumber in your kitchen it’s indicative of that. Also as a side note, I have asthma and diffusing certain oils can sometimes trigger it, but this blend does not.

I opened this up, and it smelled exactly like a high quality, concentrated Vanilla extract! I LOVE it! If you go to your pantry, open up your natural baking Vanilla extract, and smell that (minus any alcohol smell) that is *exactly* what this will smell like.

Part of that is because Vanilla Oleoresin and Vanilla Extract are made in very similar ways; (feel free to check out how they differ online. ) Vanilla is one of my all-time favorite scents, (tied with the smell of conifer forests), but I had never purchased anything Vanilla scented before because Vanilla CO2 is extremely expensive.

I didn’t really want to buy pre-diluted vanilla in jojoba or some other carrier because I like mixing it with lotion, and I dislike like artificial vanilla scents. I had simply given up hope on ever truly getting a vanilla scent that I loved.

Until I discovered this a week ago! I love it so, so, so much. I dilute it in lotion, and it truly is a base note that stays on your skin for several hours, through washing, and often until the next day! I know that growing and harvesting Vanilla beans is an extremely labor intensive process, and I am very grateful to the farmers and individuals who make it possible for the rest of us to enjoy it <3 I know Eden Gardens has sustainable & ethical sourcing, and I would love to learn about any specifics they have for sourcing sustainable & ethically sourced vanilla!.

There are few varieties of Frankincense that PT sells. They are all amazing! Truly. But this one; the Carterii variety, to me, is the one tried and true classic frankincense scent. This scent is ubiquitous with what I know to be that earthy, musky, resinous scent that promotes such blissful calm and relaxation.

Whether it’s simply smelling the bottle or diffused or used on my body in some way, this Frankincense oil stands the test of time as a must have in any essential oil collection. I use it all the time for a variety of things.

It’s a great base oil and blends so well with a large variety of scents making it highly versatile. I would recommend trying all of the Frankincense oils that PT has, but this one, for my money, has that classic scent that we all know and love.

It’s a must have.

Love the beautiful scent of Blue Tansy & it’s dark cobalt blue color is exquisite. Best of all it aids in healing growths & red patches on Senior’s faces when used in a DIY facial ‘serum’/roll on. I can’t say for sure, but the mix I made did wonders for my Mom’s face, reducing red patches & crusty brown growths on her face completely disappeared- I was amazed.

I believe Blue Tansy was one of several main ingredients, that, along with a rich mixture of carrier oils, cleared up her face & had her looking 10 years younger again! Sorry, I’m not sure where the recipe notes are but from memory, it included anti age blend, blue tansy, helichrysum italicium, frankincense Fereana, rose otto 10% w/meadow foam, carrot seed, German Chamomile, Egyptian Geranium, & Jasmine Sambac (because I love the smell!), in rosehip, jojoba, evening primrose, tamanu, apricot kernal oils (+ castor & vit e oil from local pharmacy).

Bit of a kitchen sink, but it worked. Made it in a 2 oz glass bottle, then filled a 10 ml roll on to apply to her face every night at bedtime & also any time I thought of it. Was amazed at the results.

It was the first DIY I really made. And Blue Tansy smells like heaven. It’s also got respiratory & allergy benefits, along with promoting calm & self confidence – what’s not to love? Started off with a 2.

5 ml bottle then got a 10 ml. Unfortunately I then found out that it isn’t Dog Safe, which has limited my ability to use it, but I still add a bit to face serums & occasionally to add a special note to DIY perfume roll ons.

This product is very good for flu, colds, & any infection, but is strong & ought to be diluted with olive oil or some good natural organic oil. I have used it for several years. You can rub a few drops on spine, then apply coconut oil on top & rub it in.

It works quickly when put on spine because of close proximity to major artery in spinal column. It is absorbed into blood stream & travels throughout your body in a short time. I have done this on my grandson at night before bed & on his feet, & he is greatly improved by morning.

Do not use on very small children or babies. I have used this oil myself for ear & throat infection by rubbing 1-3 drops on area & adding coconut oil on top. I was glad to find it here at such a good price.

I absolutely highly recommend this blend to add to an epsom salt foot soak for plantar fasciitis. My mother in law, in her late 70s, has been struggling for several years with foot pain due to her plantar fasciitis.

She loves to take her dog, Lola, for a walk but hadn’t been able to for quite some time. She had tried so many foot creams filled with lots of toxic ingredients and always containing alcohol, which dried and cracked her feet terribly.

After hearing her story, I did extensive research and found that frankincense and myrrh were two essential oils that were very helpful for her situation. I was buying them separately until I found this blend.

This has been a true heaven sent miracle blend. My mother in law has been using this blend for a couple years now and she is back walking her dog, her pain is greatly reduced and the swelling has disappeared.

As for me. ,,,I add this blend to a solid type lotion I make for my face and body and my skin shines!!!! I am currently going through menopause it has cleared up my acne, the dry spots around my nose and forehead have cleared up and my skin tone is even looking now.

It has also cleared up my dry elbows and heels of my feet. This is one essential oil I have on hand always. And I love, love, love the smell. It also keeps the mosquitoes away when I work in the garden in the evenings.

In my experience people tend to love cinnamon bark and hate cinnamon leaf or love cinnamon leaf and hate cinnamon bark. While they do have a similar cinnamon-y aroma, there is a stark difference between the punchy, rougher, Christmassy cinnamon bark and the smoother, silkier, find-it-in-a-perfume cinnamon leaf.

If you are making your own bath and beauty products, be aware that the safe dilution rate for both is very low; these oils are hard on the skin. Do not listen to the companies whose salespeople say you can put this in your water and drink it.

While cinnamon leaf has a slightly higher dilution ratio than bark, they are best enjoyed in a diffuser, where the blending capabilities are almost endless. If you don’t like cinnamon bark, try this.

If you know someone who doesn’t like cinnamon, try this. You might be surprised.

For the most part, I do not purchase oils for their smell. I have enough of them where I love the smell and so I’m covered. All the other oils I have purposes for, whether for grave concerns to discomfort or bug repellent and what have you.

I got the myrrh mostly because I knew its name from the Bible. I am so very grateful to have found Eden’s Garden! First I was with an MLM and it was very pricey while my income only gets tighter. At first I moved over to Rocky Mountain Oils, until I realized their prices were really not that much better than Young Living on many oils.

What a letdown! They are both reputable companies as far as I can tell with overall good oils, but with Eden’s Garden I truly feel I have found the best of both worlds both in quality and price. The myrrh smells quite nice to me (though I would not think of it as something to use for its smell — but I may change my mind as I come to know this scent better).

It is one of the oils that is recommended for helping to relieve itching, and it does seem to be helping with my (itching) psoriasis, which often has gotten severe enough to keep me awake at night. I have combined it with shea butter, mango butter, coconut oil and evening primrose oil as the carrier along with peppermint and clary sage essential oils.

Ylang Ylang has such a pleasant smell and I use it in all sorts of things. Mostly I use it in my sleep/relaxation blends. Ylang Ylang has always been one of my favorites ever since I first experienced its usefulness and delightful smell! Shopping with Simply Earth has always been a joy! The website is easy to maneuver around and find what I need and that’s very important to me since I don’t spend any time on a computer and I’m a bit challenged when it comes to things of the tech nature! One of the better Australian Sandalwood oils on the market. I have been hunting around for the best oil I can find and this one comes close. It is a little expensive for 8mL but can be purchased when there is a sale.

The dropper controls the quantity of oil that is released, so this bottle will last a long time. This oil is not as sweet as Sandalwood Album, but it blend well with other oils and also lasts a long time when applied to wrists, etc.

So juicy and delicious! I have tried citrus oils by other cheaper blends and thought that I could not handle them (specifically orange) I tried a couple of blends by now that had orange in them and for some reason it made me feel sick to my stomake.

Headache and nausea. I thought I just didn’t react well to orange which was disappointing because I love citrus. Since I love the quality of rmo and the oil wasn’t very expensive I decided to give it one more shot.

When I opened the bottle I was amazed by how it smelled. Like someone was peeling an orange next to me. It’s very cheerful, calming, yet energizing. I was originally going to mix it with other oils but now I just want to diffuse it on its own.

Boyfriend likes it too and I actually used some as perfume and my daughter told me she wanted grapefruits after hugging me/smelling 🙂 It does not make me feel sick. I would definitely recommend it. Price is awesome too.

Rom, please don’t change this oil or the price. Keep doing this exactly and I will be coming back for more.

I just opened my new bottle- it smells nothing like a lemon, in fact it smells very chemically, almost like kerosene, it’s a horrid smell. I don’t think this is what it is supposed to smell like. I will be contacting the company tomorrow.

This smells like a magical potion that would make all of your sweetest dreams come true! The anise and bitter almond embolden the citrus oils to a level of lusciousness that is rare in an essential oil blend.

It really lives up to its name and is juicy, delicious, and uplifting!.

Im obsessed with essential oils. And I ADORE Frankincense for the woody, earthy scent it provides. Ive been using this brand of Frankincense since 2017 and its the oil I use for meditation, relaxation when feeling a bit stressed and as a natural perfume.

Its 100% concentrated so a 15ml bottle does last for many, many months. Ive found consistency is key. Its called The King of Oils for a reason and I dont mind spending the money as it lasts so long and is of very high quality.

I definitely recommend this oil from dTERRA.

It’s perfect:) I got this with my husband in mind (has had alot of stomach discomfort recently) and I like to think it has been helpful for him when I’ve diffused it. I also got it because I was wanting a blend with black pepper in it (for its energizing purposes.

) I find it nice to diffuse when either of us have a headache too and imagine it would be a comforting scent to have around when either of us get a cold. I love the peppermint and grapefruit combo in it (those are the smells my nose picks up first- the ones I recognize) Although my husband says he notices the lemongrass quite strongly too.

I really like this blend; it’s multi-beneficial. (While smelling it again for this review it helped open up my airways ever so gently – bonus!).

This is the very 1st Eco Oil I bought & I love it, plus it was only $5 @ the time! My dreams have been fascinating & so enjoyable I don’t want to wake! Used almost every night in the past month due to major sleep issues & it knocked both myself & my puppers out immediately.

I add 6-8 drops to my vapouriser & with the red light on bright (I read red light promotes good sleep) & place it on 1 hour b4 bed which immediately makes me calm & tired. I leave on till I wake or for 3-4 hours all up.

And It smells so divine. I say it has a strong smell, but it’s my 1st oil & I have a high sensitivity to smells due to the migraines. I highly recommend Eco Modern Essential Sleep Oil, just wish I’d bought more as its ½ empty now & I just bought more yesterday.

Love this blend. I have tried mixing essential oils to find the perfect blend, but once discovering this Stress blend, I leave it to the experts. This blend leaves a lovely fragrance in the home and have had many people comment on it as they come in.

Honestly – in essence is the only brand I not only purchase from anymore, but there’s a very good reason for that. the quality of their oils is immaculate, their orders are shipped out super fast, their different options of oil blends to choose from is amazing and I’ve NEVER been disappointed with an item.

The balance blend of In Essence is excellent. Combining orange, lavender, geranium, jasmine and rose nothing is overpowering but all blend together beautifully to give calm and a sense of peace. In Essence essential oils are extremely reliable and pure.

Used in my In Essence Ultrasonic Diffuser it is a blend that would suit anyone except for someone who has a problem with lavender.
