20 Best Essential Oils For Perfume (2023 Updated)

Doesn’t remotely resemble moss, or even anything earthy. Smells like cheap men’s cologne. I waited all the way til it had dried down a couple of hours, and even then the faintest mossy base notes were non-existent.

P J Trading Company is well established. The line of essential oils is one I found to be in the purest formula. One of my favorites out of many is rose. Essential oils can be rather costly without additional additives.

You can not only enjoy P J’s products yet you can also trust them. I do !.

When I ordered this I thought I was ordering pure rose oil scent but this is not. This is lab created and actually has a MSDS stating that there’s toxic ingredients. I did not open the package and plan to return it.

It is my error since it was clearly described it was not genuine and that care would be needed with its use.

My biggest (and only) complaint with this so far is that I can’t say that this lasts more than a few hours. That being said- TRY IT ANYWAY, lol! It’s very soft, a bit sexy- but I feel like it wouldn’t be wholly inappropriate for a pre-teen or teen to wear either.

If you’re looking for something that’s super perfume-y or sophisticated, maybe look elsewhere. but for something soft, sexy, more intimate, not too overpowering, this is absolutely worth a try (especially at a price point just under $20).

I find that, like so many others have mentioned, I get compliments from strangers when I wear it as well- women as well as men. It’s pretty, but not overtly “in your face”, so it’s definitely something I’d feel comfortable wearing to the office or nearly anywhere as I can’t imagine many people would find the scent overwhelming or troublesome if they have allergies/sensitivities.

Try it! You may very well find that there’s a place for it in your life! I have many perfume bottles that I wear & paid over $100 for, and yet I still find reasons to pull this out and enjoy it here & there.

I’ll continue to keep some at my home & office as it’s very sensible, pretty & versatile for a variety of situations/applications.

I put off purchasing this fragrance for so long because of the negative reviews but a recent trip I ahead extra points to use so I grabbed it off the shelf at the checkout line. I have to say at the price it’s worth trying out on your skin to see if it works with your body chemistry because when it does WOW! The first time I applied it it smelled like a warm sliced creamy latte mixed with Amber and brown sugar.

I smelled yummy and the scent was about medium strength. The next morning I applied it again after showering and put on fragrance free moisturizer as a base it smelled very similar to Tom Fords Amber Absolute which is one of my favorites but discontinued so I was very happy to find a similar scent that was much stronger the next day.

I do agree with some of the other reviews that stated that the scent wears off after you wear it for a while meaning you don’t notice it on you but others do. Weird right. All in all I love this fragrance and I will continue to purchase.

Yes, when you first smell it or put it on, you may get winded trying to get a whiff, subtle is an understatement. HOWEVER, give it maybe 10?mins and it really opens up and smells so nice. It’s a very close-to-the-skin scent and I ran to review because it smells JUST like Juliette Has A Gun – Not a Perfume.

Like, JUST like it. I don’t really know fragrance jargon but it smells very clean, and fresh, yet warm and skin-like. I can’t stop smelling myself. I literally just got home from trying this on in store so I’m not sure of it’s lasting power but since it’s an oil, I’m anticipating it lasting nicely and look forward to the way it wears.

Seems like it’ll linger nicely and smell ever so faintly in the morning. Only gripe is the packaging. Though it’s super cute and will look nice on a shelf and can also be tossed in your bag, the top is cheaply gold-coated and yes, black plastic flakes do come off when twisted open.

I saw another review that said they went away after wiping so I’d give that a try. I picked up the vanilla musk and would purchase this as well, may even layer nicely 👀 Praying they change the top, seems like it could get annoying.

One of the bottles were opened and leak all over the other bottles. But it smelled great! Took a while to get everything cleaned though.

I like to use these in my car and bedrooms when I want a light and uplifting undertone. Gives just the right hint without “smacking you in the face”. Very nice assortment. Highly recommend.

The people giving it a 1-star review because they didn’t bother to read the description are being totally unfair. Yes, it has some synthetic jasmine scent in it, as well as real jasmine oil. That’s made 100 percent clear in the title, and description, of the product.

And yet here are people, giving it 1-star because of this. That’s ridiculous. That’s like buying apples, and giving them a 1-star review because they’re not oranges. The reivew needs to be based on the product – not on your inability to read the product description.

I personally love this oil. It smells exactly like jasmine, you can tell that there’s real jasmine in there, it acutally smells totally real to me. I would not have guessed it’s got synthetic in there.

It is strong, yes. But I don’t see how that could possibly be seen as a bad thing. It’s a good thing. It simply means you have to use less, and therefore the bottle lasts longer.

I feel fooled. This is packaged and labeled just like their natural and healthy essential oils that I use BUT it is a synthetic fragrance (which can contain dozens of chemicals that don’t benefit health).

When a product says “fragrance” it can legally contain a bunch of chemicals it doesn’t have to list them as it is a proprietary recipe. These chemicals can do anything – from encouraging cancers to affecting your hormones and nobody knows what happens when you mix a hundred different ones together and then absorb them through your skin and lungs for years.

Check out the documentary “Stink!” on Netflix for some surprising and enlightening facts. This is why I try and go natural with things like deodorant and don’t use hairspray, perfume, etc. and why I choose natural fragrance for lotions, body wash, etc.

I won’t even give this away because I don’t want my friends and family breathing in strongly scented chemicals – this is the first time in years I’ve felt I’ve wasted my money on iHerb (not iHerb’s fault) and shame on Now Foods for trying to slip this in with the healthy natural oils – with the same package and labeling they knew exactly what they were doing to get sales.

For those who don’t mind it being scented with artificial chemicals, the scent smells similar to a lilac tree in bloom – it’s just very perfume like – you only need a small amount. I hope the time I took to write this review was helpful for you 😀 Stay safe friends!!.

Fresh smelling and pleasant, but it was not what I expected. I was hoping for something a little more soft and floral. I would say this is a herbaceous scent good for either gender, but not necessarily feminine, which is what I was hoping for.

The value would be good if the scent actually smelled like cotton candy. I’m sure plenty of your other scents are probably just fine, but this cotton candy does not even resemble real cotton candy scent.

And it probably is difficult to mimic melted sugar without melting real sugar. I will be purchasing large quantities of scent in the future! I need something that will appeal to children between the ages of 3 to 10.

So, since cotton candy did not work out, maybe you have a bubble gum scent that you could send me a free sample of and if not then, thank you!.

Scents are amazing! Not as prominent in candles but I may have to add more than 10 drops to 4 tea lights. I love that its universal and I can use them for literally anything from candles to bath and body.

This smells nice but it’s not unique. Upon immediate spray the top notes give a flat almost papery lavender scent. It’s a clean lavender bloom unlike the typical chemical and ‘manufactured’ lavender smells we get from legacy bath and body companies.

The lavender in this profile leans very herbal— with hidden, soft layers of what smells like a pinch of thyme and rosemary to a sensitive nose. The other reviewer who said this smells like Axe body spray is not totally unjustified because this scent does render almost masculine middle notes…or maybe unisex.

I would not agree that this body spray is longer lasting than other ones on the market. I applied it at 8:47pm and one hour later, the scent was diminished by 50%. By midnight the same day, it was diminished by 99%.

I applied it to my body, clothing and as a room spray in a small bedroom. What aesthetic does this scent remind you of?: Grandma’s farmhouse next to a field of wild flowers, dried lavender tied around a twig branch broom and Grandpa’s sandalwood herb oil sitting next to his shaving kit.

I absolutely love this Being Frenshe Hair Body Linen Mist – Lavender Cloud. I mainly use it to spray down my bedding, blanket and pillow before bed as it’s very relaxing and soothing. I’ve even used it on my children’s bedding, before bed and they love it as well.

It’s a subtle Lavender scent, which is not overpowering. The packaging, with the faux wood top is very elegant and so aesthetically pleasing. I love the ingredients. This is such a great value, especially since it’s very high quality with better ingredients than other linen mists.

This does smell good-definitely smells like the long discontinued Ralph Lauren perfume which was a favorite of mine in high school. That’s what prompted me to buy it. My only issue is this smell does NOT last, at least not long enough for my liking.

I only bought this last week and I’m coming close to using quarter of the bottle already. It’s also very overpriced in my opinion, especially since it doesn’t last that long. I don’t regret the purchase but kinda wish I had waited for a sale instead!.

Love Davina oils, they are the best. I tried the patchouli oil for the treatment of dandruff. I put 10 drops in the shampoo and after a couple of washes my husband’s dandruff problem practically disappeared.

I have recently discovered how much I love essential oils. Elemi has been amazing to clear up acne, scratches, and even concrete burn on my son’s face. Much better than prescription creams that I have used before.

didn’t realize when I picked this out that the ingredients are almost identical to D*terra’s Whisper, which I already have. Still, I kind of like Davina’s version better; couldn’t really tell you why (no ylang ylang? less rose absolute?!).

Whisper is a bit ‘cloying’ or old ladyish, so I need to add more wood to it to smarten it up; Entice is fresher/lighter. One star off because the scent doesn’t last very long. I haven’t tried it in a diffuser yet.

As someone who worked here, these products are mysterious imported fragrance oils mixed with a basic carrier oil. I spent most of my employment explaining to customers what wasn’t in the oils and that I’m not actually allowed to tell them what’s in the fragrance oils.

The environment for employees was hostile when I worked there and the owner was not present enough to be accountable. Often misrepresented as black-owned and they seem to love it, despite being owned by a white woman named Denise.

Terrible company overall. If you’d like to support a quality fragrance company out of Tucson, AZ I would suggest Kate’s Magik.

this is my honest review of this fragrance oil. pros: super long lasting. affordable, realistic rose scent, I prefer roll ons to sprays so I like this automatically more, it’s very potent. I find myself constantly smells my wrists when I put this on lol.

I put this on before bed after a shower and it was still on (and strong!) after a 10hr sleep. cons: this may not be people who don’t like potent scents. overall: if your looking for a strong, realistic rose scent this is the best I’ve ever tried out of many.

Simple, clean and beautiful. After years of using standard perfumes, I stopped when my son was born. I didn’t like the idea of him snuggled up to a bunch of synthetic strong fragrance. I found Persian Garden at a health food store and fell in love.

It’s been my go to every since. I use the fragrance oil, moisturizer and bath oil. Helps the scent last longer as it’s a very light scent.

These fragrance oils are excellent! I made soap with 4 of them, and I’m very satisfied with the results. The scents are very strong and actually smells like the scent they are. (The strawberry smells exactly like a real, fresh strawberry, and not the artificial strawberry scent you would imagine.

) I highly recommend these oils to anyone who makes their own soaps, candles, bath bombs, etc. I used the strawberry and cupcake scents for these soaps, and they smell so delicious!.

Very potent! Smells and work great with my oil diffuser. Some scents stink to me but everyone is different, like these much better than essential oils.

I bought the oils for a diffuser bracelet. I was really happy with how quickly they came and I loved the stickers that came with them. I am drawn to Sandalwood but tried the lavender and sage yesterday.
