20 Best Essential Oils For Kids (2023 Updated)

I was recently on a camping trip with my extended family. The mosquitoes were pretty bad and several of the kids respond to bites by swelling up pretty badly. I tried this on both of my kids and several of there cousins.

I know a couple of the adults tried it as well. The adults said it seemed to help their bites feel better. My daughter liked it as well. My son however was a different story. I was pretty generous in my application and he had bites all over his chest.

I was horrified though when several hours later I went to check on his bites and there was huge red areas around each of the bites. His whole chest and back were pretty much covered in red areas. He said they didn’t hurt or itch, but he clearly reacted to something in the oil blend.

I wish I knew which one it was so I could avoid it in future blends on him. I just wanted to warn other parents to be careful when first using it even if your other kids have been fine with it. My son is 4 years old.

I love Plant Therapy KidSafe EOs & blends for my kids age 3 to adult. It takes the guess work out of which oils are safe or not for them all. I also LOVE that they have nursing & pregnancy info as well.

We use Immune Boom in our homemade bath water, shower melts, & diffuser. I diffuse it if we feel a cold or virus coming on, have guests over, or will be exposed to a group of people to help prevent us from getting sick.

It works like a charm. We have used this blend in our homemade shower melts, which we use in the tub or when we are showering. They dissolve well in the shower & release just the right amount of EO fragrance.

The smell in the diffuser is powerful, yet not overpowering. We use a few drops in the tub with a handful of Epsom salt & baking soda, if we feel we might be getting sick or when we have been around a group of people.

I have purchased this blend several times & plan to keep it in my EO cabinet. This is one of the EOs I will be sending my college kiddo off with.

I have a 6 year old granddaughter that suddenly had zero focus (like over-night). She has been easily distracted for a couple of years, but this suddenly got BAD. She went from A’s & B’s to C’s and low D’s suddenly.

Out of desperation I bought Study Time and thought ok. let’s see if this lives up to it’s hype. When she got home from school the day it came in, I put it on her and gave it about 20 minutes. barely could see a difference, then at about an hour after applying she went from fidgeting, squirming, stopping every 2-3 words to tell me something else random to sitting still beside me and reading a whole book to me straight thru with NO problems.

Just wish it lasted longer so we could apply before school and it still be working long enough to get thru her school day and hit homework quickly when she got home. Would I recommend? OH YEAH!!!!! The smell isn’t all that great, but the benefits are DEFINITELY worth it.

She could tell the difference so much she requests we put it on when she gets up so that it kicks in by the time her class starts. She also requests it after school so it will help in time to do her homework.

I am obsessed with this blend! I don’t have kids so I ignored the kids blends for a while. Then I got the Sniffles & Sneezes, which became one of my favorite blends ever. So I studied all the kids blends to see what else I wanted to try, especially looking for something that would be different or surprising in some way (I have hundreds of oils, so a lot of blends sound predictable to me).

This blend smells different than anything I’ve had before. It smells like candy. I know it’s supposed to be calming, but I actually find it slightly energizing and focusing. I would say it calms my mind if it’s racing.

Sweet orange is the dominant scent out of the bottle. But petitgrain is this blend’s secret weapon. I adore petitgrain – it’s probably the reason I got the blend in the first place! It’s a hard oil to blend, but they’ve done it perfectly here.

|There is a strong base of vanilla here. I know vetiver – my favorite oil – is in the mix, but I barely detect it behind the very strong vanilla. Lavender is detectable and pleasant. I don’t smell the douglas fir, but I’m sure it’s doing its part to balance things.

In a nutshell, this is orange-vanilla-lavender with some complexity behind it. I absolutely love it.

My kids have a pouch where they care Healthy Hero. Whenever they feel something is getting on them (virus or just they know they are in enviroment where their friends are sick), they just pick up Healthy Hero and roll it on.

It works! I swear by lot’s of Edens garden oils, I love them. My kids have Germs easy roll on, Focus Focus Focus roll on, Head-A-Sore Us roll on, Tummy Aid roll on and Ouch Easy roll on in their pouch.

When the headache botters we know what hepls, when stomach botters Tummy Aid roll on is the fixer, our Focus Focus Focus roll on was my son best friend during his hockey tournament. I am greatful for Edens Garden essential oils, edens grden essential oils have a place in our every day life.

I never regret try new scent (different usage) of these. That is why I made a set of 6 wonderful roll on’s for both of my kids, teaching them why mommy love to use particular essential oils for particular problems and having a feedback from my kids it works for them.

I love to hear when my kids tells me, mom the headache is gone or my tummy is better. It is the feedback these oils works! And I know these works, I use them for my family quite a time!.

I have three kids, 7 and under, and we homeschool. My husband is also a seminarian, which is the equivalent of studying for a masters, so we go through this one like crazy. It has a very fresh scent, from the peppermint, and I also diffuse it if anyone has a headache because of that.

When this is diffused, the whole house has a very fresh scent that is at once calming, but with an air of expectation. I know that’s a lot to ask of a smell, but it does deliver. It keeps you awake and focused, and is also just a very pleasant smell, the whole family likes it.

I have much more willing children when we have this on, and if you’re using it as an adult it seems to help you get a second wind when working on a project or paper. Using it in the diffuser OR as a roll-on works fantastically.

It is one that is pretty strong, so you should probably start with 3 drops in a large diffuser, and work your way up. For reference, we enjoy earthy and herbal, and citrus scents.

I don’t usually resort to “natural” or “homeopathic” solutions, mostly because I don’t believe they usually work, haha. I think they are wonderful if it’s what you’re into but I usually just go see the doctor or use an OTC.

That was until my 2 year old started having sleeping issues and I was struggling. I was waking up constantly in the night to deal with my restless son. The doctor was unhelpful and after talking with a close friend that suggested essential oils might help.

When I put on FFF in the diffuser, it is like magic. I can focus and get a LOT done. In the car, I have this in an inhaler, roller ball diluted, and also in my car diffuser. If somehow I get distracted easily and am having a rough day, using any one of these will set me straight and I can drive without frustration at all.

This stuff is golden. I buy it in 30ml bottles and refill my 10ml bottle regularly. The Osmanthus is a winner for me. Any blend with that in it seems to work like nothing else I have tried. I love that it is kid safe too.

Absolutely LOVE this oil. I made a roller for my baby and have been putting it on her feet since she was pretty much a month old and we diffuse it every night, it works wonders for us to keep a relaxing routine and helps us sleep calmly.

My only warning to people new to this oil is that it contains blue tansy which works wonders but is strong in color so you should be careful not to spill or let it leak with blankets or baby clothes wherever you use it, but it’s a million times worth it.

There was barely any scent to this oil. It wore off in less than 5 minutes. Disappointing. I put it on 2 of my children’s feet, 8 month old baby and also mine (very generously) and we did not sleep any better than usual.

Two of my children actually woke up several times through the night and couldn’t go back to sleep which never happens. Yes it smells nice but did. It last or work. I’ve liked other oils from this company but this one was a fail.

I would not purchase again. It took 2 weeks to receive this and I live within an hour of RMO’s. My order got lost and they said they wouldn’t ship a new one out until it had been 2 weeks. Not very helpful.

This was supposed to be a baby shower gift which I wasn’t able to give since it came so late.

I purchased this a few weeks ago and decided to give it a try. Both the roll on oils I purchased did seem to leak but not enough to lose enough product. I am wondering if its just the oil used to dilute form mixing.

It doesn’t have an odor. The oil itself is the bomb! I used it after getting it and even though I was struggling to fall asleep and stay asleep I am now not struggling in the least. I rub it on my feet and back before bed time and its like I suddenly just fall in to a peaceful sleep.

I could never do that before! I ordered Blend of Rose at the same time so I also diffuse 3 drops Blend of Rose, 1 drop German Chamomile, and 2 drops Ylang Ylang at night to. It all together is just a recipe for a good nights sleep.

I got This item in hopes that my 3 year old son would stop freaking out in social events. And just so clingy with me or his daddy. Lets just say i believe in oils i put It on him and i see a different.

Yes hes still shy but hes not freaking out. Maybe it mind over matter but. I trust in it. The bottle is small so it fits in ur pocket.

The quality and smell is amazing for our LO. The roller ball works well and the consistency and strength of the scent are perfect. Our family loves every oilogic product we have tried! We also love how safe these products are to use with our baby.

My daughter has high anxiety around people and social situations. This helped her and also slowly bringing her around social situations so not to overwhelm her.

This essential oil blend is one of the best blends I’ve ever used. It smells amazing. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) who comes into my home remarks on the fragrance and asks what it is. I like it so much, I’m coming back for more.

I highly recommend it. Does it help with sleep? I can’t swear to it but it doesn’t hurt. LOL.

There’s literally nothing better than opening my windows first thing in the morning and putting this in my diffuser. If you haven’t tried that, try it. 10/10 will buy for the rest of my life or until it’s no longer in production.

If you like coriander, you’ll like this essential oil blend. Purify and cleanse is not my favorite but I know others do like it a lot. To me, it smells sort of like a dish soap but I think the same oil will smell different to different people.

Hello Oilogic. I am so happy with my Nighttime & Sleep Roll On. They didn’t have the adult version in stock so I figured I would try this. I also purchased at Walgreens the Calm Sleep Spray for children that works perfect for adults.

Just spray your pillow or pajamas or bedding and your off to sleep. Getting back to the Roll On. I love this product. It smells good and it works, slept like a baby last night. Also easy to carry and all your products are very affordable So glad I found your company.

I wish Walgreens stocked more of your products.

Very good product. Easy to use because it’s a roll on. Love the smell/fragrance. Works great for me. I’m a landscaper and work outdoors 10 months a year. I’m allergic to many outside allergens. But, this awesome product helps me all day long.

I recently ordered the Slumber & Sleep Bundle of Joy package. My wife and child thoroughly enjoy their scents. However, with this package, the 6oz tube of calming cream smelled a little off. As if it were sour.

We chalked it up to just being a bad batch. Not a big deal as it happens when your manufacturing large scales of products. What is a problem, is I have reached out to customer service the day we received the package over two weeks ago to request a replacement tube and as of today we have not heard a response.

I am hoping this review will trigger a response from their customer service team. Other than the customer service part, the products usually smell consistently good. Three stars because of the poor customer service of this order.

I have gotten this from Walmart a year and a half ago to try and I absolutely fell in love with it that I want to buy more. I had my second kid and can’t wait to try them on him. I can’t ever find them in stores anymore so I am glad I remembered you guys had a website.
