20 Best Essential Oils For Humidifier (2023 Updated)

I had purchased these several year ago and it was time to replace them. I was very disappointed. They did not work as well. The clothes seemed to have more static than before and drying time was increased.

I’m not sure if it was a “bad batch” or what the reason was. Sadly I returned them and I’m not trying another style. Two stars for environmentally friendly.

I definitely recommend this brand for essential oils. I use Peppermint for aches on my body. I typically add it to a carrier oil and massage away. Because they often come in large bottles, you get a lot of oil, and it’s great for the price.

I wish I had purchased and known about these when they first hit the market. I now know that dryer sheets are filled with chemicals, and basically don’t even stop static most of the time. The first time I threw these in with my microfiber sheets, I was THRILLED that my sheets had NO static cling, and NO fuzz or beady balls! I have several things that you are not supposed to use dryer sheets with, and these are awesome to fluff up and soften up your clothes.

I am so happy I purchased these. Could they be a little lower in price? Sure, but for as long as they last, I would say it’s worth it and you come out even. I sure hope they keep these around for a good long time.

I just bought the real eucalyptus branches and put it into my bathroom. Oh my god… when I take a hot shower, the temperature rises and eucalyptus starts to give off its incredible aroma… it’s just a heaven! #nature.

Great for many medicinal uses allergies, headache, opens respiratory tract, relieves upper respiratory congestion, elevates mood and more. Great scalp therapy no more dandruff!!

I had been looking around the medicine department in search of something that would calm my cough. I stumbled across this oil and decided to try it out. It doesn’t say specific directions on how to use but I googled it and I applied it at night which to my surprise relived and soothed my coughing.

It’s a great product for the price I’ve tried other natural oils that are way over priced and do the same job. I definitely recommend.

These pure oil blends are great offering a good variety (Breathe Easy, Detox, Stress Free etc). The bottles are small (0. 34 fl oz) but a good way to see what you may like best. I like to combine 2 drops of one of these small bottles with 2 drops of a concentrate (Peppermint, Vanilla, lemongrass, Eucalyptus or Lavender).

My 14 year old German Shepard mix loves the scents. The back of the box lists the combination of oils for each which I love, that makes it is so easy to add one concentrated oil.

I bought these essential oils because of the variety and the price, however, these essential oils are just ok. When I use the oils in my diffuser it takes about 10 to 12 drops to work properly, for rest, relaxation, sleep etc.

, and then it leaves a nasty cloudy film behind. I have used other essential oils by different companies and those oils have not left a cloudy residue behind. Also some of these essential oils look and smell funny when I have used them, it is almost as if they are old, and essential oils do expire.

Sadly, I will not purchase this product again or buy any oils by this company. On a positive note all the essential oils were sealed properly, no leaks or breakage, and the box they come in makes a good temporary storage.

These essential oil blends are wonderful, and there is a blend for every need in this little box. There is a guide on the back of the box stating exactly what is in each blend, which is much appreciated.

I don’t think you’ll find a better price , especially with this much variety. Definitely would buy again.

I have had chronic rhinitis from sinusitis since I was a child. I have been waking with dried blood or I wake up with my nose bleeding. I read a review stating Breath essential oil helped their rhinitis so I gave it a try.

After a 3 or 4 nights of using Breath I no longer had nose bleeds or dried blood in my nose. I now have Collagen Vascular Disease which is a group of anti-immune disorders. This has been the only essential oil i have tried that helped me.

Thank you for the relief it has given me. I would, and have, recommended this product to others.

I purchased this item during the end of my 1st trimester of pregnancy going into my 2nd. This item helped tremendously. Not only did it help open my sinuses(I suffered from pregnancy rhinitis), it helped with nausea and relaxation (insomnia due to pregnancy).

A little goes a long way. The scent wasn’t too overpowering as it stayed in my room long after my diffuser shut off. Definitely a great value for your money.

I have been doing virtual yoga classes for the past few months but the atmosphere isnt quite the same as when I get to go in and do it in a real studio. Something about doing yoga from your bedroom while your kids watch tv on full blast in the other room isnt all that relaxing.

I got a diffuser because I remembered my studio always used to smell so nice and got this oil blend because I really like mint. It has changed the entire experience! At home yoga is much more relaxing now and I feel like Im really doing it for real!.

Attention essential oils afficionados: This is not an essential oil blend to diffuse. It is a home scent to put in your diffuser. It is very potent, I put too much at first (12 drops) and my whole basement was very fragrant, the scent filled the whole house in less than 2 h, borderline too much.

6-8 drops are the max for my diffuser. It says “eucalyptus” on the bottle, but I think it smells more like mint candy with a hint of basil/lemon. I am happy with it and it will last a long time. It doesn’t pretend to be therapeutic, it’s really just a home scent.

I’ll probably get the other flavors; I think they could mix well together. The bottle is sturdy and luxurious.

I love the scent Wild Mint and Eucalyptus from Nest. I’ve bought several reed diffusers and get compliments all the time when people come in my house. However, the same scent that comes with the Misting Diffuser is nothing like it.

It smelled so bad, like overdone elderly perfume, I had to dump it out and won’t be using it ever again. That said, the diffuser itself is really great, and I use it everyday with other oils. I also purchased the Driftwood and Chamomile and the Palo Alto Cedarwood to use in it.

Hated both of those, too. Heavy perfumes.

This is the best diffuser I have ever owned! It’s amazing! It’s has three setting to control how long you want your diffuser to scent the room. It has a wonderful night light. Also when the diffuser runs out of liquid it turns itself off.

Plus the scent of Wild Mint & Eucalyptus right before bath or bedtime is very soothing and relaxing. I can’t wait to purchase the misting diffuser oil collections. This product is a breath of fresh air.

Humidifiers changed the game for me. I had cracking & bleeding dry skin, lips, and dimples that plagued me most of my life during the cold months. Literally just upping the humidity from 20% to around 45% took care of all of it, no moisturizer required.

The problem is, humidifiers get gross, and all the easy solutions company’s have are messy. My first evaporative unit got a smell in 4 days. The solution was to add a toxic chemical to the tank to stop bacterial growth, but I didn’t want that in the air.

You could go hot mist or cool mist ultrasonic, they don’t have paper wicks and can be cleaned easier, but get gross too in about a week if not cleaned. There were supposed to be solutions for those with antibacterial UV lights , but reviewers noted they degraded the plastic over time.

I couldn’t find a robust, easy cleaning free humidifier, and that’s just it. They all need to be cleaned, and regularly. Cleaning this humidifier’s pretty easy, you just rinse out the tank and let it dry, I like to rinse the base, pour some alcohol and water in it, let it sit for a while, and then let it dry completely in front of a fan.

You could use vinegar too, but vinegar’s smell can linger. Overall I found for me once a week cleanings are all I need, but YMMV. If you notice a smell or growth, check regularly and clean accordingly.

As far as other aspects, since it’s cool mist you need to use distilled water if you don’t want the white dust (We have hard “softened” salty water that leaves a lot of dust), but you can test to see if your water is fine in it.

Since it uses a little under a gallon a day, I get 6 gallons of distilled water at the weekly grocery pickup, which does add up, but it’s only for a few months out of the year, and that’s been working great.

In the couple months I’ve owned it, the only problems I’ve had were the slight mess of water the tank leaves when you remove it, and removing the screw on tank cap after putting it on too tight. In my 200 sq ft room, it takes about 2 hours give or take to go from 30% to 50% humidity, and can hold for a few hours before dipping.

I haven’t touched the instructions, but it doesn’t appear to have any smart functionality at all. On top of that, the dial that controls the volume of mist doesn’t seem to do much, so it’s more like a switch.

I’ll run it full blast until it’s a little more humid than I want, and turn if off till it dips below 40%. Overall having used it daily for a couple months, I’d recommend. You could do a lot worse as far as humidifiers go.

Hello Folks I live in Arizona where the bedrooms become very dry during the summer months. I have had my Everlasting Humidifier for over 3 years. the first two years I had absolutely no problems. I just followed direction on cleaning and handling.

Then last year near the end of the summer season my hum. would shut down. No matter what I did. I opened the electrical part of the unit up and could not find anything wrong, the inside was 100% dry.

I’m a part time electrician. This year I retrieved the unit from my garage, filed and turned it on and it worked for about two hours then same thing. nothing would get it to stay on. I set the unit in the sun for about two hours, Then I double checked and re cleaned it again, refilled returned it to my bedroom and it worked ah ha again one hour later red light.

Then, I thought something is heating up, perhaps one of the chips is aging. So just for the **** of it I went to the dollar store and purchase a metal wire basket 2″ x 8″x 12″ I set the unit on top of this $1.

00 basket and it’s been working for over 5 days not a lick of a problem. So apparently there is just enough heat under this unit to affect the chips in the base. Raising this up and getting air circulation under its bottom has solved the over heating.

If this is your problem $1. 00 will maybe fix it too.

This time of year, I tend to get sick quite frequently and usually always need to have a humidifier on hand so that I can breathe easier. I had thrown my old one out because it had mold growing inside of it and was desperate for a new one.

I couldn’t ignore how good the reviews were so I took the plunge and purchased it. When I received it in the mail, I noticed the authenticity seal was broken so I decided to reach out to customer service to see if I should still use it.

I didn’t have much expectations for the response they would give, but I was pleasantly surprised! They immediately sent me out a replacement and were very swift with their response. Now onto the humidifier itself; this thing is POWERFUL.

I love that you can control the output on the humidifier and since the water tank is larger than others I am able to hold off on refilling it for about a day or so. I like how you can add essential oils into the side tray (even though most of the time I can’t smell it) but my only complaint with this product is they do not provide replacement pads so that you can keep the tray sanitary.

I had to improvise and cut up cotton rounds, which isn’t a big deal, but a little inconvenient. Overall, I highly recommend!!!!.

I have searched high and low for the lavender essential oil I knew had to be out there. Finally, I saw this on Amazon. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I can’t say enough about it. I suffer from a traumatic brain injury and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of my accident.

I have tried many essential oil blends unsuccessfully, to help relax me so I can drift off to sleep. As a night shift RN, sleeping during the day is always a challenge. Until I found Dream on Amazon.

It smells amazing in my diffuser, I even put a drop or two on my pillows. It smells wonderful. I can’t imagine using any other goodnight essential blend again other than Dream.

This is my favorite brand for oils. I use them in my diffuser all the time. This set gives you so many different options to choose from. Use just one or mixup your own blend. My favorite combo is rose, jasmine, geranium and sandalwood.

I had first tried this by itself on top of my moisturizer (not tinted) and didnt notice anything. Then I decided to take my tinted moisturizer and after putting a dollop on my hand, I added a drop or two.

Wowza I am looking luminous and glowy gorgeous. Yes I double moisturize. First with regular and lately Ive added tinted since I really should wear sunscreen. Adding this makes you glow without looking like a glitter bomb teen.

Will repurchase!!!.

These are nicely concentrated compared to other similarly-priced pure essential oil brands, so a little goes a long(er) way. Their ylang ylang oil is a bit “dirtier†smelling than, say, Esslux’s, but everything else I’ve tried from them is spot on.

I LOVE Dr LaCruz product. Smell strong than other cheaper than store 6.99 each . I will continue order more when i am low on 2 will order more. I pour in mason jar leave it open sleep well

I think this product smells amazing and makes me feel fresh. The price is good and you get a lot to last a long time. Really all you need is a few drops here and there and I’ve used mine for almost a year.

It still ins nearly full. I would suggest this product to anyone who enjoys eucalyptus.

Love Airome oils! I have used many different brands of essential oil’s, but none of the others have been as pleasing. The strength,and fragrances are always good, not overwhelming! Love this brand and will continue to use!.

Have been using this blend for several years and use only it in all my diffusers. Everyone entering my house and seeing my cat comments that my house doesn’t smell like cat! The scent is light, fresh, and reminds me to stop and take some deep breaths!.

Came upon the oil by pure coincidence, spirit lead, call it what you may, but it was timely and in order. From birth, my son has battled with asthma and eczema. I’ve found that including Airome oil in his nightly baths, aids in him having the most calm, peaceful, good night’s sleep ever.

Received the package on July 14th, 2020. I sniffed the package and immediately knew that something was not right. Upon opening the packaging on the outside and opening the box I was able to identify the problem.

The frankincense bottle was not closed properly and the lime was also not closed properly the lids were loose. Liquid absorbed into the styrofoam keeping the bottles safe. My booklet also had soaked up the essential oils as well and made the pages sticky as well.

I won’t be purchasing again unless the manufacturer firmly seals and tightens the lids on the oils. I’ll still use what is left of the oils though I am still disappointed that the two leaked. That is why I am giving it three stars I would’ve rated higher if no oils had leaked.

I have purchased several oils from more than one reputable company, and while the oils have been quality, I could not find a blend that I truly loved. until RMO’s ‘The Secret. ‘ I LOVE this oil blend! I personally am not a fan of a strong floral scent, and I am very picky about perfume scents.

Frankincense is one of my favorite oils. To me, this one is spicy, then sweet (but not too sweet). I smell the cinnamon/clove/frankincense the most, with a hint of citrus (I like citrus, but not as a dominant scent in a blend).

My daughter smells the patchouli. I LOVE patchouli, but I can’t pick it out as easily as she can. I am currently using 3 drops in a carrier oil roller bottle (10 ml) for pulse points and I intend to make some perfume spray as well.

I’m so happy to have finally found an oil blend that I love this much – don’t give up if you haven’t found your perfect blend yet, and try The Secret!.

The reviews of this blend intrigued me, and I was not disappointed. I have made a rollerball of this essential oil in a carrier oil which I love to wear. It brings a nice sense of calm to me. But, by far, I am most enjoying it in my nighttime bedtime diffuser with lavender essential oil.

The smell makes me look forward to bedtime. I’ve even found myself motivated to head to bed earlier (I’m generally bad about getting enough hours of sleep during the week). This is a great blend for calm and peace.

I bought this variety pack of essential oils since we got an essential oil diffuser for christmas and I thought we would like a variety of scents for the room. First off when I opened the box, the lemon grass bottle had leaked all over so it made everything smell like lemon grass.

Also, the Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, and Peppermint are super similar in smells so I wish they had put a different scent in. I really liked the orange smell though. Super cheap price on amazon for just okay essential oils.

I love all of my aromatherapy scents, they are perfect for my several times a day of use. They all smell amazing. I love mix and matching different scents for different needs.
