20 Best Essential Oils For Healing (2023 Updated)

I always loved the Aura Cacia body cream in this fragrance– very citrusy sweet, with a nice undercurrent of earthiness– but it’s been discontinued for a while, and now impossible to find. The roll-on fragrance is just as nice, and lasts pretty well for an oil.

(Not as long as a standard perfume scent, but quite long for a natural oil. ) I hope they keep making this! (Why it’s still sold in the roll-on & the bath fizz but not the lotion? I have no idea. ) I like my roll-on so much I’m ordering another for a friend who also was sad when they discontinued the lotion too!.

Although the scent is wonderful, there is far too much carrier oil in my opinion. When I roll on a *lot* of it and sniff it right away, it is bright and green and open, but minutes later the scent is already gone.

I use a lot of essential oils, rather than chemical scents, so I’m accustomed to some scents dissipating quickly, but this is truly gone in a flash. My individual oils of geranium and lemon last much longer than this, but this blend is much more beautiful as there is a lot more going on in the blend.

It’s just too bad there is so little of the essential oils and so much carrier oil.

Aura Cacia’s Chakra Balancing Aromatherapy oil blends are wonderful (and I think healthier) alternatives to conventional perfumes and this one’s got a light, fresh, lemony/citrus scent. A great pick-me-up, it’s easy to just roll on your wrists and then breathe deeply to enjoy a little aromatherapy-on-the-go.

The scent lingers for 10 or 15 minutes. They’re portable enough to fit easily in a pocket (it comes in a small perfume size roll-on glass bottle, thinner than a chapstick and close to the same size).

Lemon is great for improving focus/concentration (do a quick Google search on lemon in Japanese offices and you’ll see what I mean). This whole line of Chakra Balancers is a great express lane to learning more about the delicate art of aromatherapy (the therapeutic use of “essential oils”); I’ve tried three, so far, and like them all.

Warning: the lid was not on the bottle tightly and 1/5 of the oil had leaked out. It didn’t appear that the seal had been broken, just loose.

I have been using this oil on a scar I have,from a surgical procedure and I can’t tell if it is working or not.

Some scents are stronger than others. I recommend doubling the amount of drops the diffuser recommends. I think that’s normal though and all in all, it’s a great deal for the variety of oils included in the travel set.

I love vetiver and lemongrass mixed together in a diffuser. They’re masculine scents in high end male body wash. Enjoy!.

Plant Therapy Tea Tree (Melaleuca) Essential Oil 100% Pure is amazing! It is difficult to find Pure Tea Tree Oil. Diffusing Tea Tree can promote healthier air quality in the home. I dilute it with their Organic Hemp Seed Oil, per directions, and apply it to my scalp while in the shower when I’m letting my hair conditioner set for about 5 minutes, then rinse.

This set is amazing and it arrived at the perfect time! My husband started getting sick so I made a blend of peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary, lavender, oregano and tea tree with a carrier oil to help break all the congestion up and get rid of any viral or bacterial infection that might be starting.

I’ve also add these to boiling water for him to steam over. Better than any pharmaceutical product! Absolutely love this set and all the things I can do with it! I also used the lavender with bergamot to make sugar scrubs for Christmas gifts this year!.

Helichrysum italicum is liquid gold in a bottle. It is the most wondrous oil for skin conditions and scar healing. I bought this originally because my poor son got a terrible hot-water burn on his arm, and became allergic to the normal treatments (Xeroform, zinc ointments, etc).

I researched EOs that could help with healing and this was often top of the list, so I bought it. SO glad I did! What a difference it made. I used this plus Manuka honey for his 2nd and 3rd month of healing, then alternated with a different blend (so he wouldn’t get sensitized to any one oil).

I have now returned to using this for his 6th month of healing, where he has a keloid scar. Already notice the keloid reducing and one section has reduced entirely. As far other uses, I haven’t used in a diffuser because it is much too precious to me.

Scent-wise I didn’t care for it much at first, being a sweeter/cloying floral, but the scent has grown on me, because I associate it with healing now. Overall I consider this little wonder oil a necessity in any oil box, as long as you can afford the price.

I’ve always been interested in this oil, but it was too expensive just to “try it”. Unfortunately, I broke my wrist and have been using this oil after the cast was removed. I was experiencing swelling more than pain.

I use this oil in combination with lavender and slather it on my hand and lower arm. I do feel like I’m seeing some reduction in swelling. It could be a coincidence, but I was out of the splint 2 weeks early.

I’ve been very diligent in taking vitamins that are healing for broken bones. No doubt the oils have helped too! Thank you for quality products!.

The 15ml bottle label was pink, not the yellow advertised. Nonetheless, I love it! It smells like eucalyptus and Vicks VaporRub. Really strong and on the watery side. I purchased it for my acne. I think I will buy Rose essential oil once I finish this one.

Great stuff!!! But I wish you sold Rose in 15ml bottles! It’s really expensive 🙁 🙁 and this oil was expensive as well 🙁 :(.

It is very useful in my massage practice. Clients respond positively to it’s calming healing fragrance. I especially like to use it mixed with a carrier oil around the clients neck and shoulders. For personal use I mix a few drops of Frankincense and rose oil with Jojoba oil for face and body oil.

Occasionally I’ll take a drop or two of Frankincense sublingually, to assure a great nights sleep. Young Living is a brand you can trust.

I use this product every day. I use it on a sensitive area as part of a regime I do. It can be mixed with face cream as well. I have tried a sample of other products, but they are no way near the same.

This was a first trial originally I bought 2 but my son took one for his humidifier, My Husband has a small humidifier on the go while he watches his sports and I also have 200ml Humidifier and I’ll give you 1 guess what we all have in our humidifiers.

we all have the same thing on the go, so no nasties for us. Will be stocking up shortly but this time my son can buy his own out of his wages. All I can say is I Love it. It arrived very well packaged as do all.

I’ve used Helichrysum from several diff companies and have never smelled one this nasty before. I mean Helichrysum isn’t for everyone, I get that, but I usually love the scent. Smells kind of like old leather and tobacco normally but this one was just gross.

Smelled more like paint thinner than anything else. I definitely would not recommend this company’s Helichrysum for use on your body or for diffusing, something is wrong with it. I’ve smelled the Immortelle flower which makes Helichrysum oil and this is NOT that flower, trust me.

Or if it is they have cut it with some kind of chemical. Blech! 2 stars for nice packaging but that’s it.

I was surprised when my order reached me so swiftly! Great customer service. I had a small lump, which was a wee bit of cancer, aka cAnswer. I have very sensitive skin. After the nurse practitioner performed the cut to analyze, she covered the area with a latex bandaid and a vasolene-like product.

It about made me go crazy with the itchiness. I was so happy to have the Helichrysum on hand, as her applications would never heal like helichrysum does. When it was determined that the area was, indeed, cAnswer, she dug deeper.

Tea tree oil has so many benefits. I haven’t tried many other brands aside from young living. I am not a fan of the tea tree smell at all. I unfortunately did not use it consistently enough to give a review of the effects or benefits of tea tree but I have a bottle on hand.

Love this for my acne! I’ve been trying so many products and nothing has worked as great as this! I use it for spot treatment on my acne and it disappears in days, leaving no stains on my skin! I also use it for my hair when mixing it into my weekly hair oil mixture (coconut oil essential oil blends).

It helps with the scalp and leaves my hair silky soft!.

I absolutely love young livings tea tree oil. It works great on all things cuts, scapes, and even skin blemish’s. One of my most used oils! Lasts so long too as a little goes a long way!

More than pleasurable scents! I have only used 3 of the vials so far. Sleep, Headache, Immunity and DeStress. 3 do exactly as their titles. ‘Sleep’ works in a very short time to induce calming uninterrupted sleep; Destress works almost immediately to calm; Headache works better than any pill! I have only used Immunity 2x so cannot speak to its performance.

My set was a Christmas present and still in original packaging – however it did come with oil identification or instructions. :-(.

I just purchased this from Costco and I am so impressed with the scents, I had to write a review. As I am often disappointed with essential oils. These are a very nicely packaged set with a beautiful acrylic display.

The smells are amazing and has strong smells. Some essential oils seem overly diluted or the combination/ recipes suck. This company did an amazing job. I’m thourally impressed!.

I purchased two of these on sale in the store. I got them home put them in the diffuser, such a beautiful scent. Who would have thought of combining rose, geranium, and clove? Yankee Candle that’s who!!! I will buy more!!!.

I initially found this product in TJX/homegoods and I was instantly a fan. The bergamot scent is amazing. I would dab a few drops on my wrists before bed for calming aromatherapy. I have ordered this product here a few times and I’m so glad to find it again.

This bottle is easy to use, it runs out slowly so I can control how much goes on my lava beads. I mix it with baking soda to freshen my mattress. I love the way I sleep after cleaning the mattress, I use less incense now at night.

I get the relaxing benefits from the bed. I use it in the shower by adding it to my conditioner. The shipment came quickly and safely no problems with the packaging. The size is fine but would like it to have been bigger, but I can order 2 next time.

Because I use it in several ways I know the amount I would like to have on hand.

The Delivery was good, no complaints there. The oil on the other hand – I smelt it as soon as I opened the bag, it was so strong, and not at all Lavender. I unwrapped it from the bubble wrap and the chemical smell got even stronger.

The bottle was sticky which indicated a break in the seal. I put 3 drops on my anxiety bracelet I ordered with it, and the smell was so strong and overwhelming, I got sick and it gave both my husband and I headaches for the night.

We use Lavender scented stuff around the house all the time, trash bags and swifter spray etc – this did NOT smell at all like Lavender! Highly Disappointed and Unsatisfied!.

Very nice scent. The roll on is easy to use. I have used essential oils before. Sometimes I use a diffuser. This makes it just for me. Animals do not do well with certain oils, the roll on makes it perfect for just me.
