20 Best Essential Oil For Insomnia (2023 Updated)

I was expecting more lavender, but it has more of an herbally medicinal incense smell. I diffused this and my bf hated it and asked me to diffuse it when he’s not here. It smells nothing like sheets out of a dryer like the description says.

Definitely doesn’t help you sleep when you get a headache from diffusing it.

Sleep is by far my favorite remedy. Sometimes I cannot smell the other ones. There is a great sale going on, so that gives me time to try a few more. But I would recommend Sleep. This is a great company! They stand behind their product 100%.

Waaaaaaay to sweet and overpowering — even with half the recommended drops. I’m not sure how anyone could sleep with this intense scent. I leave this review only because when I read the reviews before I did purchased it, they led me to believe it was subtle and delightful.

I guess maybe my tolerance for pungently saccharine odors is very low.

I bought this when on TSV – still pricey but a very good deal compared to original price. It’s attractive and a compact size. Quite easy to set up. I used 10 drops because although I love Neom products I find the fragrance can be subtle sometimes and I like something stronger.

I was not disappointed as soon as I switched it on the fragrance drifted around my sitting room, ten drops make a strong statement, next time I will use 7 drops. Very lovely. Makes an interesting bubbling sound, quite gentle and relaxing.

The light is lovely, on dim it is like candle light, would be very good as a nightlight for people who do not like the dark. The mist stream is much stronger than shows on screen. It really does look like smoke and is attractive.

I like the unit very much and think it would make a wonderful Christmas present for someone you love.

As someone who suffers from regular bouts of insomnia, my interest is piqued when a natural, topic product comes along suggesting help. I was glad to receive it quickly and that I could try it a few days in advance of my followup appointment at the sleep clinic.

I explained to them that while this oil didn’t ‘knock me out’ like a drug [thankfully, too, because I hate that drugged out feeling anyway!], it did ‘speak’ to my brain about sleep and made me relax and hunker in for a more restful night.

In this season of my life sleep often evades me. I have used many natural sleep aids but have found I like this option so much more. It truly does aid me in getting a calmer, much deeper sleep and I don’t wake up the next morning feeling groggy or sleep deprived.

I truly can tell a difference if I skip diffusing for the night and whether my husband will admit it or not he sleeps better too. Well, maybe I am just too knocked out to hear his snoring LOL.

Thiis is one of my favorite blends from Plant Therapy and is a for sure go to for a great night of sleep. I use is daily and diffuse 30 minutes before bed and let let keep diffusing. I find that it helps me relax into a great sleep.

Highly recommend to people that needs help with relaxing and calming or having sleep issues. It certainly helped me with those issues.

So this is a great product BUT impossible to get the right amount out unless you have ENORMOUS patience. Use it when taking baths. 3 drops is perfect if you use mite it becomes overpowering and you will end up smelling like grandma.

Please include a drip dozer, even if you need to raise the prize. I would only recommend this product to people that have the patience to wait for the drops to come out and can resist to give it a “shake”.

Otherwise buy a cheaper product! After all the idea is to relax not get frustrated.

Gets cold, keeps my face products cold. It does leave a little puddle of water inside but it’s not a huge deal. Also one thing I dislike is that the back plug makes it stick out far from the back of my bathroom counter, like it has a lot of space behind it so it sticks out like a sore thumb.

There’s definitely better ones in the market but for the price I guess it’s okay.

I really love this scent it’s so relaxing and mellows us out. We smell it all over our home and when visitors come we are complemented on how great our home smells!

If you’ve used YL oils. This is very similar to Peace and Calming. I LOVE this oil! Its a must for me! P&C was my all time favorite. As is this oil! It’s fresh, clean and calming. I can’t say enough good things about it!.

I first bought the calming blend through Native American Nutritionals and absolutely loved it. I just recently bought a bottle through RMO and it doesn’t smell anywhere near the same. I also noticed they did not include blue tansy in the blend.

I bought several other blends that I also originally bought from NAN and they took out/changed ingredients, which completely altered the smell!!! The other blends that I bought that were altered are: Mind Alive, Relieve Me, and Breathe Ease.

The Purify blend I bought has the same ingredients but smells very different, so maybe they changed the amount of each oils. I also bought several single oils and compared to the ones bought from NAN, they don’t smell as strong.

(I still have the original oils from NAN and did a side by side comparison). This is quite disappointing as I really loved NAN’s oils and was hoping for the same quality through RMO.

I ordered this oil when they had the black friday sale. I was excited to get it since my other bottle was gone. This calming just didn’t smell right. I tried to use it several times but there was just somthing not right.

After contacting the company, I was told that the Blue Tansy was not available for a short time and was replaced with German Chamomile. Hmmm. why was this not disclosed to the customer? I love RM oils, but this makes me unsure of this company’s ethics.

I hope my other oils are what they should be. I am really disappointed that I now have a feeling of caution in my mind about RM oils.

My favorite scents from sage are Stress release, pain release, peppermint, and fortress. For a change I bought this for my husband’s stocking for Christmas. I noticed he still has been using only Pain Release before bed (he just loves the scent for a calming purpose).

I wondered and tried the Sleep Well oil on (two days in a row) I could not wait to wash it off because it smells like #2. I told my husband ” It has to be my nose” He said: ” I did not want to tell you, the scent is unbearable” Perhaps we got unlucky and received a bad bottle, since the reviews are great.

I want to return it so they can actually understand what we are saying. Love the other oils we buy from Sage in general. Such great quality oils except the one we got this time.

I have chronic lower back pain. I was looking for something that would help so that I wasn’t constantly popping Motrin and putting ice packs on my back. I just starting using the Extra Strength roll-on and it’s like night and day.

I had a pretty brutal skating session this morning that involved some hard falls and a strained groin muscle. Typically topical pain relievers do not help me. I rolled this on my back and sore muscles and after a few minutes I couldn’t believe the improvement.

Simply put, this product is great and that it actually helps me to sleep. However, the one downfall to this product is that it stinks! The running joke between my husband and I in the bedroom is that “sexy time” needs to happen before I put this stuff on because the smell alone will knock him out.

So I’m on the fence about recommending this product simply because of the pungent odor. But the product itself is definitely designed to assist with sleep and it does the job in that area.

Really love this fragrance and out of all the NEOM essential oil blend this is my favourite. I was delighted to find that this comes in a larger bottle but had hoped there would be a discount for buying in a larger size.

This is one of the best blends, it reminds me of a luxurious spa day and there’s something relaxing and refreshing about this scent. Due to the cost I rarely use it and only use it as a treat but would definitely buy more if it were cheaper, it’s psychological.

This product smells absolutely gorgeous! I find the smell powerful, but subtle. Really fresh smell. I can distinguish the different scents. I only use the Neom oils, as I would prefer to pay a bit more, and have a quality smell.

I do suffer with sleeping problems, and I find using these oils settles me for the night. Definitely would recommend.

I love Neom products and used them a lot during lockdown to try and keep myself in some sort of routine and centred. This is quite a bit bottle of oil and will last a long time. I use it in my Neom diffuser and you can also use it by adding a few drops to your bath water for a wonderful relaxing experience.

In Essence is a wonderful brand of essential oils, and it’s handy that their range are stocked at Myer! I bought the sleep oil as my daughter is doing year 12 and I really want her to get a good night’s sleep.

She loves it, and pops a few drops into her diffuser after she’s finished studying for the night. It really works.

I find this more effective than the original blend containing lavender. Whether it’s because I don’t really like lavender, or it just suits my body chemistry better I’m not sure. I use most of the IE blends and find the majority of them helpful.

I prefer this over the normal sleep oil. It’s got a strong undertone of orange but is still calming and relaxing. So good! I’ve tried the entire range and this is in my top 3
