This has been a great gym for us. Quality at its best. All the pulleys are smooth there are so many added options we bought. There’s nothing left to need except a personal trainer. I still incorporate my treadmill daily.

Compare to other available Gym’s, this one very bad quality and very tough to install. Its contains Vinyl weights. But in the market vinyl weight gym price around $300. Its selling high market price with not much quality.

This one is not a good choice for best work out. Need more space compare to other market models. Very cheap metal used for the Skelton( Cheap Aluminum quality). One word its not good one. There is 100% chance to missing parts, you need to call them and takes another week.

Assembling time compare to other 10 times more. My friendly suggestion please don’t buy.

Overall, I am satisfied with the product. For that price it is very good. However, I did not buy it for myself: I did it for my 85-year old grandfather who still likes to exercise. After I assembled the gym in his appartment, I tried to see it would work for me.

Here are my observation. Pros: 1. As mentioned, the price is good for the offered quality. 2. The quality is very decent. Looks and feels quite sturdy. 3. Takes exceptionally small space! 4. Not tall, so could fit any basement.

5. One person could assembly it without a help (good tools would come handy, though). 6. Does give you many exercise options. Cons: 1. It is designed for a smaller users: a) the rack maximal weight is only 160 lbs b) the range of motion for the chest press is short for me ( I am 5’9″) 2.

It took me 4 hours to assembly it, although I had assembled a lot of stuff before. 3. Parts are not labled, so I had put them backwards twice. 4. Leg curl is a little uncomfortable on this gym.

I am not handy, honestly like I am the worst with instructions, so took me a bit of a while to figure out how to put it together. Made a couple of mistakes with some screws but it was easy to go back and correct it.

When I got stuck with something specially with the cables I hopped into the Youtube tutorial and got myself back to track. Footprint is not big so it’s excellent for the garage where I have set up my mini gym.

Doesn’t take up so much space. Functionality wise I can do a whole range of exercise although I need to order a couple more attachments to make it feel like I am working out at the gym. It doesn’t squeak and bang, no noise at all when I am using it.

Delivery wise, it came the very next day. Impressive!.

To Melbourne from time of dispatch (which only took a couple of days) to delivery, was overnight. So about 3 or 4 business days for my Functional Trainer to arrive from when I purchased it. Amazing. Now, on to the product itself.

The price was great and there was no additional postage fee. Almost seemed to good to be true, so I was slightly concerned the product would be a bit shoddy. Nope. I assembled it following the instructions (easy to do and every single bolt and part was included, took 3 hours by myself by hand), and give it a little test.

Smooth operation, works so well that I am shocked now at what I paid for it. The only thing which isn’t a con, just a consideration, is that even the full stack for someone who has been training a while is not overly heavy.

Pec fly/crossover = great. Bicep curls = great. Tricep pushdown = full stack is slightly lacking. You can put a long bolt through and hang a weight plate off it like I have and it helps a lot. I hope this review has helped people, this is genuinely a good bit of kit and if you are not sure about purchasing.

I’m not usually one to review my purchases but in this case I feel the need to give credit where it’s due. Our experience from start to finish was 5 star quality. First the delivery. We ordered ours on a Tuesday afternoon & were shocked to see it arrive by lunchtime Wednesday.

There were 6 boxes in total and all equipment arrived in perfect condition. Secondly, the dreaded assembly of the machine. I give the manual a 6/10 but between it & the 16 minute video on YouTube, it made the process a lot easier than expected.

We had a small hiccup half way through & decided to email Best Fitness. Being a Saturday we weren’t expecting a reply until Monday. We were surprised to get an answer within half an hour and we were on our way again.

By Saturday afternoon, our BFFT was up and going. Finally, the product. Two weeks in and we’re stoked with our purchase. Our BFFT10R is small, compact, quiet and functions perfectly. If you twisted my arm & forced me to pick a negative, I’d say that the assembly manual is a little confusing.

I’d say I would’ve been in a little trouble if I didn’t have the YouTube video to refer to when I got stuck. Overall, the service of Best Fitness & the product quality was way beyond our expectations.

I love it. It’s low impact, but it really works your whole lower half. It’s amazing. I don’t like doing it every day though because it does bother your bottom and private area, but I figure that’s a lot like riding a horse too.

I don’t have to do it every day because it is so effective. Every other day or even every third day. I even sometimes separate the 20 minutes into 10 and 10 or four 5 minute workouts.

Love this machine! I work on my feet 8+ hours a day and can come home and work out. It’s helping my low back and hip pain and giving me energy not to mention the feel good dopamine from a good workout.

I’m so glad I bought it because I was worried it would be too hard or not hard enough. It’s just right!.

I am 53 yrs old, and weigh 250lbs. I hurt my knees a few years ago, and it really made my thighs shrink. The ironic thing is that if your quads are weak, your knees will hurt. I was an ice hockey goalie for 25 years.

I bought this about 2 years ago during a Black Friday sale and it has been one of my most favorite purchases! Great piece of equipment for keeping the dad bod under control and adding muscle mass. Perhaps not sturdy enough for a large upper-tier athlete, but good durability.

Assembly was not difficult, but it was tedious and the directions could have been clearer in some spots. Took about 3 nights to do, working 1-2 hours each night. Having a lat bar is what really set this item apart from the rest, especially for the price.

The pulley track for it is not perfect, but it’s a great added dimension for a home workout. It also came with accessories to do other pulley exercises. The pull-up bar is an added bonus, though the grips could have been wider, and the rack can move during high effort pull-ups.

Coming with a nice bench is another huge bonus, especially since it inclines, declines, and has a quad extension/hamstring curl device. Fits in one-half of my garage despite a shelf behind it, and I can park the SUV on the other side once I turn the bench sideways across the front foot of the rack.

This cage is essentially all you EVER NEED! Bench press and barbell squat have never been so perfect for the price of this. This cage comes with a chinup bar and it feels a lot better than my power tower chin-ups dip station because it comes with a slight angle instead of the straight up and down of the power tower.

The material quality of the cage is high. All of the parts and assembly align great. If you are mechanical savvy you should have no problem putting this together. I had help of one other person. I had bench press benches in the past and they don’t stack up.

I can literally rerack my bar with confidence unlike past benches where I had to carefully align it with the bar catches. The cage is wide so hand grip and positioning is generally. I love it. No gym membership for me with this cage!.

Took me and my wife about an hour to put together. Instructions were clear and all the parts were included. The only down sides I have are the barbell weight storage gets in the way of the pully system, the steel is a little thin compared to other cage systems, and the cage area is a little small.

I’m only able to take a half a step back when squatting or else I’ll hit the back of the cage. But that aside it is still good for the price. The pully system is nice and officers multiple workouts that I’d have to go to the gym to do.

Comes with at lat bar and triceps or bicep bar. Includes two different length chains with D rings for use the the pully system. The dip bars are a good plus (if you’re over 250 LBS you’ll have to position the dip bars lower so you don’t bend any thing) my wife loves them and they have good texture on the grips.

The pull up bars are coated in foam padding so it add to the grip. I can still do almost every workout with this one system with a multi position bench. If you’re not going super heavy (more than 700 LBS) then I recommend this cage system.

I am 6′ 3″ 210 lb ex collegiate football player. I was fortunate to have Power Lift racks in our training facility. When I was done with college and short NFL career, I got into Crossfit and I loved it.

It’s been about three years now and I wanted something for my home. Basic strength training in my garage on my off days from Crossfit. I had high expectations for a squat rack because of what I was use to.

I’m tellin you right now, this rack is solid. There is nothing fancy about it. Simple, structurally sound design that I put together by myself in about an hour or so. I have the dip attachment that hooks up in seconds and it does great.

I chose to get one pull up bar and it doesn’t budge when I do strict pull-ups. I have just enough clearance between the ceiling and the bar to get my chin over the bar. I also got the wheels to attach to the back of the rig.

On a beautiful day I’ll roll it outside and get a lift in the sun. I will get the attachment soon to store my plates on the back end. As you can see in the photo, I got the rippetoe bar. Love it. It’s 1mm thicker than most Crossfit bars which I prefer.

Work on my grip even more. I put together my own box. You should do it. It’s a fun project. Just feels good to build something yourself. My bench is from Raw Equipment. It does the job. Little uneven but I put a 2 1/2 lb plate under one side and its level.

Quite a bit cheaper than rogues, but I’m sure there bench is solid. More than you probably want, but that’s how satisfied I am with this rack and my wife giving me the opportunity to have it. « less.

Returned it after 3 days. I bought it because it included a pulley system and for the price it looked to be a great deal. The first thing I’d like to mention is that when you squat, getting under the bar, the pulley sysytem is in your face and would hit it.

I would have to turn my face to the side when i got under to bar before unracking, thats annoying. The second was the lat pull down is useless for seated lat pull down as there isnt anything to hold you down.

At a commercial gym you would have a pad on top of your thighs. This rack doesnt have that. I do pull downs with 150-170lbs for reps. Another issue was benching safely, it’s difficult with the hole spacing.

Either i would set the safety pins to where the bar would hit them when i lowered the bar or 1 hole below that and it would be too low to catch the bar if I failed. It would just lay on my chest. I weigh 160lbs and it wobbles when i do dips on the outside.

I added a 45lb plate with my dip belt so thats 205lbs for dips and it wobbles and shakes even more. Not sturdy enough for dips but it worked great for pull ups. The handles are about 84†from the ground.

Also the rack scratches easily. After the first day of moving the hooks and pins the rack is scratched up. The inside depth between the uprights to squat is about 18-19â€. You can squat but its tight.

The hooks are not that great because your bar moves around too much forward and back. I hated the hooks. I would recommned getting J-hooks. For those interested I’m looking into the Titan T3 rack. Really didn’t like this rack.

The Titan T3 is $350-450 and comes with weight holders. Lots more reviews on youtube about the Titan. This Marcy rack i couldn’t find much info on youtube about. Hope this review helps some. I couldn’t find any reviews discussing the issues I had so I thought I’d share for others with similar concerns or thoughts.

I hadn’t heard of vibration plates before they showed up on Zulily. I’m working on overcoming de-conditioning following recovery from surgery and a lot of inside-time during Covid. I read articles. I watched YouTube videos.

I looked at a cross-section of reviews. Vibration plates are recommended by physical therapists, the positive effects are supported by research, using them isn’t difficult, and Lifepro is a respected brand.

I’ve used mine twice, incorporating easy exercises I found online, and fifteen minute workouts at low speed leave me a little sore, but not feeling injured.

I have had my Lifepro Rumblex Plus 4D a week and I absolutely love it!!! The only regret is that I didn’t get it years ago. I have used it every day and I can tell a HUGE difference in how I feel overall.

My pain and body aches have been greatly relieved. I am totally sold on this product and I think everyone should have one. It came with the wrist remote and exercise bands. Lifepro has a lifetime warranty and great customer service.

They helped me with my warranty registration. I also had reached out to Zulilly customer service and they were awesome also. So, this vibration plate is the best and you should get one now. My friend used it now she is ordering one for herself.

It is simple to use and the machine is so powerful. I can use it anywhere and then hide it under my bed. I can’t wait to experiment with new exercises. the ability to change speeds and adjust timer with the remote makes workouts flawless.

I’ve had problems with my knees since the early 70’s and after many surgeries was told I needed to replace my knees, but now I feel like there is hope for me. When I get off the machine I feel like I worked out at the gym for an hour.

I think each person has to start slowly and find their sweet spot, then gradually progress as their body builds up. I’ve been really impressed with how strong it is. I used a commercial machine at planet fitness and I was not impressed by it.

Bought this during covid-19 and it was hard to find. The closest one I could find was at a Dicks about 85 miles away. These were flying off the shelf so I bought one online and made the long drive to pick it up.

You can find this from online retailers, but those prices were way over inflated and many of the reviews talked about damage. I am guessing their delivery people weren’t as careful as the Dicks staff because mine had no damage at all.

I just recently set it up and only time will tell for sure, but the machine feels way more solid than I would have expected for the amount I spent! This is a great buy. Only negatives that I could find are the directions could be a little better (see below) and its a little short on the hardware.

This comes with a chain and two quick links – enough to connect the pull down bar but you have to disconnect the pull down bar to connect the ankle strap. This is not a big deal – its easy enough to switch it out or spend a few bucks at the hardware store and problem solved.

Assembly. The instructions are ok but there were a few things that were not clear. Here’s a few tips: 1. There are holes on the sides of the rods that the weights are slid down over. It does not matter what direction these holes are pointing.

The holes are only there so you can insert a lock (direction not important). I spent a long time trying to figure this out. 2. The upper most weight has holes on the top and bottom and a few grooves in the top.

The picture in the directions make it look like the holes only side should be up. The rod that you insert the pin into to select the weights will not go all the way down and I cannot use the bottom weight.

I think the top weight should have the grooves side up so the rod can insert deeper into the weight stack. 3. It is very easy to overlook the rectangular double washer plates that go below where the two vertical pieces that hold the bench attach to the piece that runs along the floor.

I only realized I missed these when I was done and now have to unbuild most of it to install these. Just a heads up. the Dicks website say this is MWM-990. When I picked mine up, the boxes said it is MWM-989.

I called Marcy to ask about this and they said it is the same machine with a slightly different trim just for Dicks. The one I have looks like the pictures so I am not sure what the difference is, I just wanted to let readers know the machines function the same, so don’t freak out if your boxes say MWM-989.

Another heads up, Marcy has a video showing someone working out with this machine. The video shows him using a short bar to do curls. This machine comes with the pull down bar, but the shorter bar in the video is not included.

You can still use the pull down bar for the curls or purchase the shorter bar separately.

It took me about 4-5 hours to set it up. Instructions were okay but could be better, I had lots of experience in putting some furniture together so it was pretty easy to figure out. It comes with spare parts as well.

The size is pretty compact, roughly about 69†in length, 78†high and 35†wide. The gym itself is pretty good, it comes with a regular bar that can be used for pull-downs/biceps curls. It does need some tweaking once it’s finished though.

Do not tightened the bench press too much in order for you to get the full range of motion. However, my partner (who is much taller than me) can’t do all the exercises because it’s too cramped. I found out that it’s not recommended for anyone who’s 6’ tall or more.

The home gym as a whole is durable and pretty comfortable for the price. This is coming from a 6. 3′ 270lb guy. I’m maxing it out constantly so it holds up. My only gripe is the casing on the bottom cable stripped off after a week of use.

Nothing major and yes it is correct. It’s Ironic because Marcy equipments slogan is “when you finally get serious”. Well I guess I’m too serious. Marcy said they would replace the cable with proof of purchase, but I normally don’t expect gym equipment to fail so I didn’t save the receipt, plus there’s nothing wrong with the cable I’d just strip the new one again I’m sure.

I am 57 years old, obese with chronic health conditions. I purchased this piece to mainly strengthen muscles that were not used due to osteoarthritis pain, not to mention being quarantined upon the couch watching TV and eating Little Debbie snacks for over a year.

I wanted gain my mobility back and I knew I had to start slow, strengthening my muscles. I can’t do much walking but this helps build energy so I can do more a little bit at a time. This piece replaces 5-pieces of gym equipment and does not require a lot room.

The weight limit is 350 but I can tell you I’m well over that and thus far, no problems. It’s sturdy and the quality is good. It took a minute for me to be able to get on/off but since using this, my leg muscles have strengthened and is now easier to lift leg to get on/off the machine.

I was able to purchase this for $499 before the price hike to $700; and I paid $89 for assembly. This was a good investment for my health. I’ll probably upgrade and sell this one once I gain my strength and mobility back.

So, I’m a 50+ female who is ‘starting all over again’ with fitness. I wanted something multifunctional that would work all the muscle groups. This fit the bill. It was fairly easy to assemble with 2 people, although when I took out the seat it had a tear in it that was not apparent from the packaging – somewhat disappointing.

Aside from that, all parts were there, and in good condition. However, the instruction book was not very helpful with getting started. I went online and found some great YouTube videos that really helped.

Would recommend this item. Be aware that the PR1000 does not support upgrading the power rods. That’s fine for me, but you might want to choose another model if you anticipate wanting more weight. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase.

My background: Recreational lifter for past 7 years, 3-4x/week, goals – athleticism (speed, endurance, some muscular/strength gains, flexibility, maintenance of low body fat %) Parts: heavy duty, most parts felt durable, rods were a bit bent when received, I was missing handles and plate support for the rods During use: As some buyers say – rods true weight are LESS than advertised.

Used a pulley scale and the 50 lb rod and 75% bend was about 30 lb’s. It felt stable while exercising. Only 2 positions for bench – flat/45 incline. The upper bar moves a bit, so had to add extra washers than manual mentioned to keep it solid.

Leg press with the belt felt EXTREMELY light. The feel is as expected; resistance is more obvious when rods are bent at half to full bend. Bowflex support: extremely slow, e-mail was useless, calling required HOURS of waiting.

Good thing Walmart was nice enough to help me out instead and give me a partial refund for missing parts, and I was able to purchase new 3rd party handles. Overall, good enough to do my resistance training workouts while away from the gym.

Don’t think this would hold up over time due to decrease weight feel of the rods. Definitely a great back up once gyms open up again. Great for people starting out, or who don’t use “heavier” resistance.

The T-Bar station is one of the best-designed pieces of equipment in the Titan family. It’s super-sturdy and feels like it can take a good beating. This T-Bar is only a slight notch believe commercial-gym level.

You won’t regret the purchase.

Machine is outstanding. 5 star product. However, Titan Customer Service seems to have been on a mission to compel me to never buy a Titan product again. They not only charged me the wrong price, they sent my delivery to a different house and were then totally unable to answer a simple assembly question.

So, sadly, I cannot recommend anything from Titan.

Took over 1 year to arrive. I actually thought we got scammed at one point. Thankfully they responded to my requests for updates – most of the time. Good machine although not enough weight. I would love to add a few more plates.

I ordered this cable machine for my in-home gym. It looks super sleek and is very smooth on the cables. It’s perfect for my needs, however I would advise men to make sure the resistance would be enough for them.

I am a strong female, and I am already getting close to using the max weight on things like the lat pull downs or standing rows. The awesome thing about this machine is that you can do almost everything you do at the gym, and it takes up very little space.

I really do love this product.

While it took about 6 months to receive our machine (seemingly due to COVID), we were patient (for the most part…. we started to get a little worried it would never arrive). The timing actually was perfect with the completion of our home gym.

It was not easy for my husband to put it all together so fair warning on that. It’s a beautiful machine and we are very happy with it.

So I don’t normally review products, but I had to on this one. One, I’m hoping I can find someone who had the same problem as me and hopefully you’ll be able to tell me how you fixed it. And two set up was just weird.

So the power tower comes in the mail and I don’t know which company was responsible for shipping but they did a terrible job. The box was falling apart, looked like it had actually been ripped to shreds, barely held together by some scraps of cardboard and screws, nuts and bolts are falling out of the side of this thing.

Ok whatever, not a big deal at least the product got to me in one piece but still kinda weird. I go to set it up and the instructions are pretty much useless. That’s ok too though, I like puzzles and figuring things out for myself so I pretty much have to figure out how to put this thing together by trial and error.

Again not a big deal but would have been nice to have some clearer instructions and probably would have saved me a bunch of time. I get to the point where the structure is all set up and I’m trying to put the final screws in when I realize hey hang on a sec.

it’s missing screw holes on the right side of the main frame. Yep. Not missing screws. Missing screw holes. Which is really weird since the exact same identical piece on the left side of the frame has the holes right where they’re supposed to be.

Not one to be deterred by minor setbacks, I go about busting out my power drill and begin trying to drill a hole into this metal frame which will hopefully end up being the right size. Took me a while of tinkering around with different drill sizes and different angles but I finally manage to drill 2 holes into the main frame and reassemble the whole main frame.

Ok perfect, it’s finally starting to come together and now I can actually put the screws (the holes might have been missing, but the screws that were supposed to go there DID come with the product) in their place since they now.

I can get a nice pump from this power tower. Just make sure the nuts and bolts are snug. I used an impact wrench to tight everything down and it hasn’t moved or shifted. Some reviews complain about it being too short, you have to remember this is for home use and the standard ceiling height is 8ft inside of a house so the company has to accommodate.

Some days I won’t even touch my free weights or use my bench and rack, and just work the power tower. It’s a must have for a home gym.

What prompted me to buy this was the sudden gym closures. and at first I was concerned it would be just a poor substitute until I could go back to the “real” thing at the gym. Especially for the price.

I was wrong – the machine is very easy to put together (took me one hour), is very solid and super steady. Enables me to do everything I need – and to progress – and I feel I am working just as hard as I felt at the gym.

Easy to switch between the different types of exercises – and super smooth operation. I don’t feel I’m stepping backwards by not being at the gym. Very happy with this and absolutely no regrets.

Like other power line products, this machine was easy to assemble. All the holes line up and the correct number of nuts and bolts supplied. Once the machine was assembled and stable I slowly added weight up to 100kg.

This little home gym has been perfect. I’ve had it for a week and experimenting. It allowed me to cancel my gym membership at planet fitness, because this does the same thing I was doing there. Very happy with my purchase highly recommend.

Easy to put together. I even did it by myself. It goes up to 150 pounds which is more than enough for my use.

The assembly was a bit confusing as some parts orientation did not match what they drew, but ultimately everything went together fine and seems very well built. Obviously with any multi-use gym there are trade offs when trying to cover so many exercises in one unit but in general this does a good job of providing a good work out to each muscle group without being too much change over etc.

Overall this is a great machine for those looking to get a work out when so many gyms have closed due to Covid.

Great machine! There are many more exercises that can be done if you are creative & think out of the box. It took 4 hrs. w/ 2 people to put together. It works smoothly, very happy with purchase.

I’ve owned a total Gym for over 23 years (Model 1700 Club) and have continued to use it year after year. I purchased it immediately after military retirement for the fitness options that I would no longer access easily through the base.

I continue to weigh the same as when I retired and at 65, have a fitness level above my contemporaries. I use the Total Gym every day for a very limited workout and sit-ups. If I pickup a few extra pounds on the holidays, I increase the excercises and reps in my routine.

Otherwise, its biceps curls, tricep curls, chest pulls, situps leg presses and done – less than 7 min. I do more if I want to increase strenghth or mass. I have used or purchased just about every fad machine – Soloflex, free weights, universal weights, gyms, Nordic Trac, etc.

The Total Gym has exceeded all – I have never purchased another type of machine except for another Total Gym Fit today for my wife – she wanted new and her own. You can not beat it folks. If I could afford it, I would give one to each of my 5 similarly aged brothers and sisters as well as each of my 3 children!.

I have looked at the Total Gym for years. I finally purchased the Total Gym Fit 3 weeks ago and am thrilled with it. It was easy to set up. There really is only one major step. extending and unfolding the upright from the glide board track.

It helps to have another person to help with this step, but very doable alone. The hardest part of the initial setup was taking off all of the packing material. This machine was packed incredibly well.

once set it was apparent how sturdy and well made the total gym is. The metal frame is built like a tank. The glide board floats up and down the metal track, the cables are sturdy and insulated. Hand grips are comfortable There is a small learning curve.

Learning how to smoothly move from one exercise to another requires learning how to safely get on and off the glide board while holding and positioning the cables(for those exercises using cables). Some of the exercises require unattaching the cable pulley that attaches to the underside of the glide board.

Also there are attachments that are required for some of the exercises. All of these require some learning( repetition ). By Day 3. I was moving rapidly through the exercises. There are so many exercises and the machine comes with a deck of cards with 80 exercises and programs to follow.

Also a large wall poster with all the exercises comes with it. There are also free video materials showing programs with professional trainers. I was never a gym rat but in high school played sports.

Because of family and career physical fitness fell by the wayside. The Total Gym is so easy to use and fits easily into my home office. The workout is amazing. It is easy to get a full and effective workout in 15 minutes.

The apparatus materials are strong and feel durable. I did get the Chuck Norris signature version of this model because it comes with a much larger foot platform for the leg exercises. Worth it. I’m only 3weeks In but I’m thrilled so far.

I have been using the Total Gym FIT for about 2 months. Getting started was easy. It arrived mostly assembled. Just a matter of unfolding from the box. Instructions were easy to follow. Using Total Gym has been great so far.

Resistance can go from very easy to difficult depending on the resistance level. Changing resistance levels takes less than 10 seconds. It is very simple to go to several different exercises while adjusting the resistance in between sets and still keeping your heart rate up.

The ab-crucher attachment is very nice for targetting your core. I feel much stronger and have moved the resistance level up several times since I started. I have rheumatoid arthritis so having a tool that is easy on my joints was a must.

Free-weights were just too painful. The total gym is very easy on my joints and I feel safer than using traditional weights. Along with cardio and a healthier diet, I have lost 15 pounds so far and gone down a waist size in my pants.

My belt is now one notch tighter. I’ve had to pull out some old jeans I previously could not wear. Everyday tasks are easier. I started at 220 lbs. Now I am 205 lbs after 2 months. Most of all, I am encouraged to keep going.

It is hard work but I feel more energetic and I’m starting to see the results in the mirror. This has been a great investment to my life. -Rick H (44).

First off, I really do like the BowFlex PR3000. It’s extremely versatile, easy to use, and very smooth in operation. I really love the fact that I can do many different exercises without having to reset the machine.

Now the bad news. BowFlex support is terrible! I’ve had to call them 4 to 5 times and each and every time I was placed on hold for almost an hour while waiting to talk with a live person. E-mail is almost as bad.

I had issues while doing the assembly of the machine, see the first pic that I attached. Once the base is assembled and the bolts tightened the results are as you see. One leg of the base doesn’t touch the floor.

It’s not my floor as I tried it in another location, same result. I did assemble the machine as is and it does work, after adding a piece of wood under the leg. A costly piece of equipment such as this shouldn’t have to have this done.

I believe that the welds for the brackets were done incorrectly. My second problem is with the height of the PR3000. See the second pic. Before buying I did a bunch of online research. Everywhere that I looked the height was stated as being 82 inches.

I even asked the BowFlex rep what the height was, she told me 82″. I explained to the rep that the ceiling of my basement gym is 82. 5 inches, so the height was a big concern for me. She again stated that the height is 82″.

I wasn’t too happy to discover that the true height of the assembled machine is 83. 5″. As you can see, I had to remove ceiling tiles to make it work. I brought these issues to the attention of two different BowFlex reps.

I sent email along with pics of the issues to them. They replied to me but completely ignored the issues, totally blowing me off. Now I can’t even get them to reply to me. I’m sure that they are hoping that I be quiet and go away, I’m not.

I don’t expect a miracle, or to have my machine replaced. But I don’t expect to be blown off and ignored either.

I debated for a long time trying to decide what type of home gym I wanted to put into my home during the COVID epidemic. I have used commercial gyms for a long time to keep in shape and to complement my running and golf habits.

I wasn’t sure if I would like the bowflex power rods vs weights but have been pleasantly suprised! First, the delivery and set up was incredibly easy and well mapped out. The parts were all clean and free of grease so I did not make a mess of the carpet.

The instructions and packaging were the best I have ever seen and believe me, I have put together a bunch of home projects for our kids, etc. The unit itself is amazing and really allows for working out any muscle group that you want.

They describe 75 exercises but really the number is unlimited if you are creative. What I like is the circuit training feel to the apparatus. You can go from quads to Lats to chest and back again in a circuit until you are done.

Just amazing. It does take time to figure out how to get it set up properly and what “weights” you want to use. I combine this with free weights and a sit up / weight bench and am very happy. I get a great workout and the power rods seem to be a little easier on the joints and tendons.

The only downside would be the crunch apparatus which I don’t care for but I don’t really like the ones in the gym either. Also the preacher curl device is a little awkward to set up and use but is still a good device.

All in all A++. I am extremely happy with the purchase and feel that it is well worth the money and is incredibly well engineered. #sweepstakes.

I was always a little skeptical about the X3 system but was also intrigued because guys like Ben Greenfield spoke highly of it. I’ve tried a few “similar” options from Amazon that had similar principles but used a plastic base and loops that you’d attach the bands to.

this made me more of a skeptic. I went back to using kettlebells and my bowflex (for sale) and would always end up getting injured. After re-listening to a few podcast (Ben Greenfield, Dave Asprey and Luke Storey) I ended up pulling the trigger.

It’s a high quality system, the bar feels legit with nice weight and grippy knurling. The plate is nice with no shape edges and the bands are holding up so far. I’ve been using it 4-5 times a week and holy ****! The pump and burn you get from this system is pretty ridiculous.

I’d highly recommend watching some youtube vids of Dr. Jaquish showing you proper form and how to do a set with X3. When I first got it, I just freestyled and I felt like it worked but after watching some of his videos, the burn came quicker and intensified big time.

His way of doing a bicep curl is a game changer! I’m also stoked at the burn I get from the chest press. I’m sure my body mechanics are messed up and my stronger muscles are compensating for the weaker ones because whenever I did bench press (barbell or dumbbell) or push ups, I’d rarely get any type of muscle burn/pump.

I definitely feel it with X3. A little about myself for context: I’m a 40yo Japanese American in Hawaii that is trying to get in shape and recover from a fun, carefree youth lol. I’ve been on Keto for about a year and lost over 40lbs (205ish to 158-160ish)(I looked like a thumb) and unfortunately, lost muscle in that process.

I’ve had the X3 for about a month and my diet, lifestyle, supplementation and waste size hasn’t changed but I now my average weight is 163-164lbs. I definitely feel stronger, my body (especially arms) are showing more definition and looking pretty vascular.

No more lower back aches or pulled muscles. I highly recommend X3 to anyone (Except to the person who buys my bowflex hahaha).

I’ve been using the X3 for 10 months now and the results have been better than I imagined. I’ve followed the program as stated and recommend people to do the same as opposed to trying their own thing.

I’ve put about 30 pounds of muscle while remaining basically the same weight so it has been mostly a body recomposition journey but I am more toned than I’ve ever been before. I truly believe this, plus fasting, plus mainly a carnivore/keto diet is all I’ll ever need to take care of my health and live as long and as able-bodied as possible.

I just turned 32. I’ve never been to a gym since I was 11, I was a fat kid and my mother wanted to change that (didn’t work). I was so out of condition when I started I had to buy the weaker orange and purple bands from serious steel that you recommend.

Now I’ve graduated from the orange one and only keep using the purple one for the overhead press. I’m looking forward to my 2nd year using the X3 to gain more muscle mass. The whole gym life wasn’t a thing I was interested in, and the most I did was some calisthenics and bought a couple of kettlebells, but that didn’t do much.

The workout is physically effortful, but I’ll say is psychologically effortless. I do it at home I don’t have to drive anywhere. It takes 10 minutes-ish at least the workout itself without counting the rest in between and stretching.

It’s easy the first 4 weeks of the program to build the habit of showing up. Once you see results you are incentivized to minimaxed the whole thing and add the activation exercises and the hyperplasia protocol.

I take glycerol and dextrose before the workout and do stretches at the end and can really feel the pump. I might update the review later on if that’s possible to add any other experience I’ve had.

I received the X3 on 11 August 2022 and have performed 20 full push or pull exercises in the last 24 days. I bought a Serious Steel purple band as the white band was to strong for some exercises. I use the white band for some exercises, mainly on the push days.

I will be 80 in January and emailed your company and asked if the person I interchanged with if given my state of health I could use the X3. That email said that it would work for me. I have been able to improve in each of the 8 exercises and do not find I am sore afterwards.

I notice it in my abs, which after researching all of your videos it stated it worked the abs. I notice my walking gate is better, I was concerned that every so often I shuffle which I want to avoid.

My balance is better as well and I do believe I am stronger with only 20 days of exercises. I find that I can get up more easily from a seated position and also if I get on the floor for exercises and need to get up that is much easier.

I think it may take some time to be able to do the overhead press with the white band. I will take that slowly as I do not want to hurt my shoulders. I watched all the ‘how to’ videos, and every time I prepare to do an exercise to ensure t am performing as prescribed.

My wife, who is 74, has osteoporosis and I have helped her with trying the orange band from Serious Steel. I think she can use the purple band for most exercises, but orange for overhead press and some others.

So, with only having the X3 for 24 days and 20 exercises I am very happy with the results. I do think for someone of my age, a band like the purple Serious Steel band would be useful. I am trying to get my 42 year old son to purchase one.

I will take it with me when I visit him next month and see what he thinks. The 10 minutes of exercise to achieve improved strength and weigh loss would be good for him. Thank you for the product and the many explanations available on YouTube and your site for the detailed explanations of product use and scientific reasoning of how it works.

Recently I purchased over $2500 worth of gym equipment from this company to outfit my garage gym. Purchased one of these benches, alongside several other pieces. Spent the full measure of an entire day assembling everything.

When attempting to use the bench, the adjustable pin kept coming out, instead of just being allowed to be pulled back to adjust into incline position, and then springing back into place, as it is supposed to do.

Whether or not this was a defect in the pin or the bench itself was uncertain. I sent photos and an email, and was told to send a video documenting the problem, which I did. We then began a multiple email conversation regarding how to fix the problem.

REP’s solution was this: we’ll give you a gift card for your troubles for $50, or you can send us the bench back and we’ll refund your money or send you another one. I explained to them that the bench did not work as it was supposed to and that I wanted a full refund.

These guys wanted me to take the time to disassemble the bench, box it up, take it to UPS and send back to them and THEN they would give me a refund. To think that I had the time to do all of that and then take a 75+lb bench to ship it is patently ridiculous.

Last time I checked, a company should take ownership of the problem and refund the money without burdening the customer, especially after I have given them evidence that it doesn’t work properly. Instead, this company doesn’t want to deal with problems.

They want to make it difficult for the customer. It’s disappointing. Will certainly never purchase from these guys again.

I ordered this bench during the Black Friday sale. 50 bucks off and free shipping pushed me this way instead of a Rogue bench. The zero-gap pads were a selling point as well and is where my one-star off comes from.

Most of the bench is top-notch construction. It is like Rep was putting everything into making a great zero-gap bench and just quit on the details. The seat pad has a ton of play in it until you crank down the gap adjustment knob underneath.

You have to crank it super tight to get rid of 95% of the play but there is still a little there if you try and move it. Is it a huge deal? Maybe not but when you drop this kind of money on a bench the utility of it should be spot on.

The seat should be rock solid and it isn’t. My wife will not be able to adjust the gap adjustment on her own unless we leave it loose enough that the seat moves freely. It isn’t a really great design on the moving seat pad at all.

I am not sure how much I saved on shipping but if I had to do it over I would spend 60 bucks more and get a minimal gap Rogue.

Confession: I’m an older lifter with a full Rogue gym. They make great stuff, hard to argue that, but Rep beat the brakes off them on this bench. I just couldn’t stomach paying nearly double for something objectively inferior.

Second Rep purchase (first was a 20 lb wall ball years ago and it’s cover sucks compared to Rogue’s, way too slick). I think maybe that purchase solidified the “buy once, cry once, get what you pay for” attitude I’ve had over the past decade outfitting my home gym.

Rep haw come a long way from that wall ball purchase years ago. Bravo on this bench. The only complaint has been from my smoking hot way younger wife who says the seat is ridiculously wide. It probably is for many folks but I spread ‘em like a gas station subway when on the bench for leg drive.

It works for me, I’m a 6 foot specimen of manhood though.
